I first heard about Dr. Tague center for Nutrition actually from my mom when I was a high school student. And so I was a patient here first. That was my first experience. And so as a high school student, that really extra care and them understanding all the dynamics of being in high school and how to manage the social things while still, you know, pursue a healthy lifestyle was really helpful that they took the time to care about that extra bit in that specific life stage I was in. One of the challenges with doing the plan when I was a high school student is all the social aspects. So bringing food to school lunches, you know, eating maybe different things than my friends at lunch or slumber parties on the weekend. And so the staff was really helpful with helping me be a part of my social things, still hang out with my friends, but not compromise my health goals and the food choices that I needed to make for my health. So they really gave me a plan specifically how to address social situations and how to partake but still stick to my health program. Fortunately, I got the opportunity to work here as I went into nursing school. And so currently I'm a registered nurse here at the office and the clinical supervisor. So my experience as a patient really helped me see the love and care that they provide here and in nursing. That's something I really wanted to do. It's such a blessing to have our patients get healthier and help patients pursue their optimum health journey. So my favorite part of working at Dr. Tague center for Nutrition is the relationships we get to develop with our patients. Losing weight can be very personal, and so it's so neat to get to encourage people and support them during that journey. We get to see them weekly when they first start, and so we really get to know them, develop a relationship with them, learn about your family. When are you going on vacation? How can we help you with all of those things while still pursuing your health goals? So that's my favorite part, is just the relationships that we get to build with our patients.
