In this video, we're going to be talking about the three words you should never say in a sales meeting that are causing you to lose deals as a video business owner. So let's talk about it. So, number one is contract. We never want to say contract. We always want to say agreement. Now why do we want to say agreement? Well, when we say agreement, it makes the prospect feel like it's a collaborative effort as opposed to contract, which means that they're getting bound into something. And naturally people don't like to get bounded to things. So you want to use words like contract. So especially if you want to say like, hey, sign the contract, instead of that, you want to say authorize the agreement, not sign the contract. When you say sign the contract, it makes them feel like they're getting bound into something. When you say authorize the agreement, it makes them feel like it is a collaborative thing that they can then work with you on. Number two, you never want to say price. You, you always want to say investment. Now we say investment because investments get what they get, an roi. When you say price, people think of price as losing money. Like they're going to lose that money. They're never going to get it back. And so you want to frame it as, hey, this is the investment. Process the investment. So if you're at the end of the sales meeting, you say, hey, this is how we typically process the investment. This is typically what we do. Put a card on file, whatever it may be, instead of, this is the price. How do you want to pay? You don't want to say anything like that right now. The next one is cheap. Now what a lot of video business owners do and videographers do is they justify themselves as saying, hey, we are the cheapest option. And they think that's helping them when that's really not helping them. What helps you is when you say, hey, we are the option that gets the best results. You don't want to say that, but that is the idea. You want to talk about results and how you can get the prospect a result as opposed to being the cheapest option. Because when you're the cheapest option, they want to compare you to all the other people. So instead of cheap, you want to talk about the value that you actually bring the company and how you can get them the result that they want to get at the end of the day. And people buy when they feel like the results that you can get them are very likely to happen. And so people buy based on the perceived likelihood of, of the result happening. And if they don't feel like that's actually going to happen, then they're not going to spend the time or spend the money to work with you. And so just a couple of hacks here, guys. Contract to agreement, price to investment, cheap to value. You want to be talking about those as opposed to saying these specific words. These are hurting you in the sales meeting as opposed to helping you. So if you have any questions on that, let us know. This is a quick one Today.
