A short YouTube video by Eric Deeran arguing that speed is essential to business success: rapidly implementing work, responding quickly to sales leads and client issues, and fixing ad problems immediately to avoid lost revenue and negative reviews. The piece uses everyday examples (filming ads, sales follow-ups, customer complaints, ad spend) to stress that slow responses stall businesses.

There are all of those things, but none of those things matter if you do not implement quickly, if you do not get things done quickly. If you take six months to film your ads, then you're not going to get any leads. If you take, you know, a week to get back to people on sales calls, you're going to lose deals. You're not going to close deals. If a client has a problem and they're upset and you take a week to get back to them or you don't get back to them, within, you know, a couple of days, that person's going to. They're going to get upset, they're going to leave a bad review. They're going to. They're going to, you know, you know, something's going to happen, and it's not going to be favorable towards the business. It's like, you have to move with speed, and you have to pretend like you're going 120 miles an hour down the highway. Like, you have to move quickly. It's like, same thing with, like, running ads. Like when you're running ads, if you're spending 10 bucks a day, then like, yeah, you can kind of go slowly and you don't have to fix problems very fast. But if you're spending 5 grand a day or 10 grand a day or 20 grand a day on ads, like, you have to fix problems within minutes, otherwise you are losing money. And there are problems that are going to happen as a result of not fixing those problems. Mean business is just a culmination of solving problems over and over and over and over and over again. And it's just, how fast do you solve the problems? And that's really what it comes down to. And if you're not solving problems quickly, then you're not going to move quickly and you're going to get stalled by those problems. So hopefully it's helpful.
