Eric Deeran compares business growth to driving speeds: at 10-20k/month you can correct course like you're on back roads, but scaling to 200-400k/month is like doing 120 mph on a highway where mistakes cost everything and you need faster reflexes.

And one of my mentors taught me this analogy, and I really like it. It's like when you're going, when you're making like 10 to 20k a month, you're going. It's like you're driving on back roads very slowly through the countryside, right? If something darts out in front of you, you have enough time to stop. If, you know, you kind of swerve the wheel a little bit, it's not a big deal because you can kind of course correct and get back on track. Now doing 200, 300, 400k a month, like a lot of agency owners want to do, that's like driving 120 miles an hour down the highway. And so if you make like a turn like this, you're gonna flip the car and like something catastrophic is gonna happen. If you, you know, if you see something in the road, you have to move very quickly. And so it's the same like speed you need to have within your business when you're trying to ramp up to that point. And so if you're trying to ramp up to that point, you need to be able to move with that kind of speed.
