You want to come across as. Like, you have at least the same status level as them. Because when you come across as needy, you start to drop that status level below them. So anytime you're reaching out, you just want to be. Hey, you know, I was busy. I just was in between meetings here. Just had a second to touch base. Something like that. So you're not like, hey, I'm just following up with you. Like, don't ever say that. It's horrible.
