A short YouTube monologue ("Don't do this... #shorts") by Eric Deeran advising viewers — especially in business — not to compare themselves to others. The speaker emphasizes that everyone is on a different journey with different challenges and strengths, so comparing oneself to others (including their money/status) leads to unhappiness.
Look, you need to stop comparing yourself to other people and counting how much money they have. If we were to break down some of the biggest ways to be upset and depressed in business, it's to compare yourself to other people who are on different journeys than you. You are on your own journey, so remember that. And you may have different challenges and obstacles than other people may have. And at the same time, you may be better at things than they are. They just have different strengths than you and you have different strengths than them. But stop comparing yourself to other people because it's just going to make you unhappy at the end of the day.
