In this video we're going to be talking about how to put your clients on a subscription plan so you don't have to chase them down for payments every single month and so you can save time and get paid on time. And if you don't know who I am, my name is Eric, the founder of Master Filmmaker. And to date we've worked with 400 plus video business owners one to one, helping them increase their revenue, grow their business and scale a business doing what they love. And if you want to learn more about what we actually do, go ahead and click the link below this video and go ahead and schedule a time with our team. So now that you're inside of Stripe, you can either send them an invoice via our in house CRM by going to their contact, going to the bottom and clicking the money icon and that will generate an invoice link for them to pay, or you can simply come up to the top here, click Create Invoice right here. And so then this is going to create a branded invoice for you. So then all you have to do is you have to come in here and then add the customer. So I would simply add Eric Duran. Eric Duran. And then I would add my email here or the email of the client obviously, and I would add that in here and then I would click Save Customer. And then all I'm going to have to do at this point is I would simply come into what I want them to be able to be able to pay with. So like, I don't prefer to have them pay with Cash app and I also don't prefer to have them do ach, but you can do that if you want. So like, if your client wants to pay with an ACH with their bank, you can enable that option. And then what you would do is you'd simply select the due date for this invoice, which here I'd say today and then I would come down here and I'd simply click Review Invoice and then I would send that invoice. Now, after you've had them pay, let me jump over to show you what it's going to look like to actually schedule the subscription. All right, so now that you have the customer in Stripe, all you have to do here is, is you come into their contact and obviously I have this blurred for compliance. I don't want to leak anybody's information, but when you do this, you're going to come in here to these three dots at the top and click Create Subscription. Now what you're going to do is because you sent them an invoice through Stripe, their card payment should already be on file. Now what you're going to do is click Add a Product. So let's say that we're adding, let's say we're doing a $3,000 a month retainer. We would simply come in and do add new product right here. And then I would name this. So I'd say monthly content retainer. You can add a description, you can add an image if you'd like and then you're going to put the amount that you are charging them. Right? So go ahead and click that. Click Add Product right here. Now what you're going to do is you're simply going to select, let's say that they paid today, right? May 8th is when they, they paid the invoice and that was the first day that they paid. Now what you're going to do is you're simply going to come into here and select the next month. So I would do June 8, which would be exactly a month from today. Now what I would do is you'd have a end date here. So if it's, if it's a, let's say it's a six month retainer. So it would be May and then we would have exactly five more cycles that we would need to charge them for. We'd simply click Apply. And then what would happen here is I would simply click Schedule subscription down here. That would then schedule a subscription and then on the 8th, which is going to be the next month, it's simply going to pull that payment on this person with the card on file and that's all you have to do. It's very simple. You can literally set it. Forget it. The client gets billed automatically, you get your payment automatically and then you are good to go. All right, I hope that was helpful.
