A short transcript discussing how to structure lead magnets for video-production clients: comparing free, bespoke test packages (highly effective, one-to-one, less scalable) with video sales letters (VSLs) (less unique but scalable, one-to-many). The speaker recommends over-delivering with a free test to build obligation and close high-value deals.

The online side. When we set up the system with you guys, the lead magnet is the free video and the vsl. Going over what you've done for these other clients and proving your value. But before you have that, you do a free test package. It's the same thing. The test package is almost, arguably better and more effective but not as scalable. It's more effective because it's unique to that brand and they're like holy crap. Like you just crush this for us. Whereas the VSL is not as unique but. But the VSL is more scalable. Cause I can do a one to many approach with that. But with the, the free piece I can only do a one to one. Which is fine because it's. You have a very high success rate with the one to one. Like I mean did that with. I think it was like 3 pt clinics. He closed 93k from it. Yeah, Every single one of them decided to move forward. Cause they just felt so bad that they owed him and he just did all this work. It's just like it's so easy man. Just make people feel bad by over delivering in the beginning. That's all it is.
