A short YouTube sales-tip video by Eric Deeran (Master Filmmaker) advising creators how to close more video deals by using 'neutral-based language' in sales conversations. The speaker contrasts pushy phrases ("we're the best fit", "perfect for you") with neutral alternatives ("I'm not quite sure if we could help you", "I'd have to take a look") and explains that neutral language lowers prospect guard and reduces resistance. The clip ends with a CTA to follow/like for more sales tips to grow a video business in 2024.

Here's a sales secret that not many people know about. And once you start implementing this into your sales conversations, you might just start closing way more deals than you ever have. And what this thing is is called using neutral based language. You see, when a lot of people have sales conversations, they're saying things like, hey, we're the best fit for you. Hey, this is perfect for you. Hey, this is exactly what you're looking for. We can get started immediately. Now what do you think that type of language does to a prospect? Well, it gets them put up their guard and it raises your sales resistance in the conversation because they feel like you are a slimy salesperson. But what you want to do is you want to switch those language, those words from we can definitely help you. I'm not quite sure if we could help you. I'd really have to take a look at what you're doing when it comes to A, B and C. And so that's called neutral based language where I'm neutral. I'm not saying it's perfect for you, I'm not saying it's the worst thing for you, but I'm right in the middle. I'm using neutral based language which gets the process open up to you more and it gets them to lower their guard and feel like you're not trying to just sell them something.
