Short YouTube transcript where a presenter (Eric Deeran) answers the question: "What's the best way to get more leads for my video business?" The speaker contrasts outbound (organic outbound, DMing) versus creating an inbound lead system, preferring paid inbound acquisition to save time and convert incoming leads into sales calls. The tradeoff between spending time versus money for client acquisition is emphasized.

So what's the best way to get more leads for my video business? This is a really good question as well. The best way. There's. There's a ton of ways to generate leads, right? You could do organic outbound. You could create an inbound system. I prefer creating an inbound system because I don't have a ton of time to waste on DMing people. Now, you can either acquire clients for free but pay your time or pay and not have to pay as much in time. So you either spend in money or time you have to spend in either one of those things. Sometimes both. I prefer to spend in money, spend a little bit of money to generate leads to come inbound to me, which then I can close and turn into sales calls and then close those deals without having to go outbound. The issue with going outbound that I don't like is the frame of reference or the frame that you have over the conversation is completely different. You can't say, hey, what made you want to opt in? Or come to me, what made you want to book a call with me? You can't.
