Pertium Packaging is a global sustainable packaging manufacturer focusing in the markets of health and wellness, personal care, food and specialty beverage, household and consumer chemical and healthcare.
Technology plays a vital role in our sustainability journey. Not only does it help us measure, monitor and take action at the plant level, it also allows us to invest in new technologies, new manufacturing methods and new processes that will help us reduce the impact to the environment.
So Guide Wheel I actually use in a number of different capacities on a daily basis. I actually go in and look at our uptime from the day before. Not all of our systems update in real time, so I'm able to get a nice view of what ran in my sites yesterday and then I'd say probably on a weekly level. We like to archive machine types so we can see if the efficiencies or uptimes are improving or regressing for whatever reason.
As the assistant maintenance manager, I utilize Guide Wheel to input work orders for their maintenance team, which is amazing because we were doing everything by handwritten work assignments. The maintenance team and I can also now communicate with each other with a simple text message option that's provided in the software. Our maintenance team works very hard at keeping the machines running at their max capacity and efficiency. Using guidewell has helped us tremendously in maintaining that efficiency.
At Pretium, we're providing tools like guidewell to our employees that not only help track key performance sustainability indicators, but also help their employees with their own day to day job. Because of the diverse features that are available with the technology, the communication between.
Guidewill and Pretium is excellent. Not only do we have a chat section at the bottom of the main screen, which is a great tool, we also have various meetings together and I know I can call or email an employee of Guidewill and I always get a quick response.
Guidewell has changed the way that we operate as a company by providing a single source of the truth. All employees, from our factory workers on manufacturing lines all the way up to the corporate office have the same view and same visibility to the data. Having universal data that can be viewed by everyone allows for easy communications, easy meetings, easy reportings, and more importantly, quick action to resolve issues.
