ANNIVERSARY MIDWEEK SERVICE || APOSTLE FEMI LAZARUS

The video records a mid‑week service celebrating the 14th anniversary of Zion Center, featuring an introduction of Apostle Femi Lazarus and his ministries, followed by an extended sermon. The introduction highlights Apostle Lazarus’ roles as principal of the International School of Ministry, founder of the “School on the Street” initiative, and husband of Pastor Miracle, emphasizing transparency, accountability, and the church’s administrative structure. The sermon draws primarily on Romans 12, contrasting conformity to the world with transformation through the renewal of the mind, and illustrates the principle with a personal anecdote about a school‑age girl whose destructive habit was broken through spiritual counsel and a symbolic “manual method.” The teaching then shifts to a detailed exegesis of Genesis 27‑32, exploring the divine election of Jacob over Esau, the concept that God operates outside of time, and the metaphor of a scriptwriter whose story is already finished. The preacher uses this to argue that anxiety stems from not knowing the divine “script.” He further develops a “night‑vs‑day” metaphor, describing spiritual darkness (night) and the emergence into God’s light (day), urging listeners to surrender self‑reliance, pray earnestly, and allow God’s blessing to transform their lives. The service concludes with a prolonged corporate prayer, personal altar ministry, and repeated calls for participants to touch their hearts, bow, and seek a fresh relationship with God.

— that the church has an administrative team, managerial team, is for transparency and accountability.
Apostle Femi Lazarus is the principal of the International School of Ministry, ISM, a ministry school under the hospices of Femi Lazarus Ministries Ecumenical, popularly known as Flame. Ordained as an apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ, his spiritual calling is profound.
People who are running their businesses should not manage it more than the church. You know why? You have to manage it more importantly because the money is not yours.
He is also the visionary behind School on the Street, an initiative aimed at bringing education to those in need. He is married to Pastor Miracle Femi Lazarus, and together they are carrying on the banner of the gospel with unwavering commitment. Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time at the Zion Center as we celebrate our 14th year anniversary, let us welcome Apostle Femi Lazarus. We celebrate you!
Welcome Apostle Femi Lazarus. Let's give him a real Trinity House welcome.
Amen. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Can we lift our hands and give Jesus praise in a moment? Let's thank him. Is the Lord strong and mighty? Is the Lord who is mighty in battle? There's none to be compared to you, Lord. You stand out in your class. You are God all by yourself. Let's give him praise. Let's thank him. 14 years is not a joke. Let's be grateful. Let's thank him. Let's thank him. He's the pillar over this house. Let's give him all the honor. He deserves it. He deserves it. He deserves it. Let's thank him. Let's give him praise. He's the Lord strong and mighty. He's the Lord who is mighty in battle. He's the Most High God. He's the I AM THAT I AM. The Lord of Hosts is his name. Let's thank him. Let's thank him. Oh, we bless your holy name. Oh, we bless your holy name. We can shout, we can scream, we can rejoice and just thank the only true God. We bless you, Lord. Blessed be your holy name, Jesus. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Who is excited to be in church this evening? This is my first time here, I'm excited to be here. Amen. Now I'd like for you to do something for me quickly. I'd like for you to help me honor the angel over this house, our Daddy. Thank you, sir.
Amen.
You have tried, but I will tell you the reason why you need to. Selatim again. It is very easy for people to look at our generation and feel we are doing something special. We will never be here if not for their labors. They have paved the way. They have, and I know what I'm saying. They have paid the win. Amen. And I want to say it emphatically, there is a generation that believes that God will have to do away with the old to establish the new.
Nalai.
Built on the foundations of the apostles and prophets, with Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Fathers are models. We can live our lives carefully because of the examples they have laid. Again, let's celebrate the angel over this house, and please celebrate yourselves. And you may be seated.
Thank you.
Amen. I am so excited to be here. I would never think in my widest imagination that Lagos midweek service will be like this. No, Lagosians are busy. Amen. Thank you, Lord. Now, the theme for this special anniversary Double perfection. Amazing. It's taken from the book of Romans chapter number 12. Romans chapter number 12, start reading from verse 1 to key us into my teaching this evening. The time is showing me time up and I'm just at Femi Lazarus media, you followed me here again. Okay, all right, amen. Okay, Romans 12:9, start from verse 1, says, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Verse 2, And be not conformed to this world, but be what? Transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Now, this is a very, very um, interesting scripture. And it is interesting because, um, either you choose to conform or you allow yourself to be transformed. Both are a kind of change. To be transformed simply means to change form. In fact, the root word there is to be transfigured.
Amen.
It is to change from one state to another. So it means that you can either change in a good way or in a bad way. Have you seen people that probably are misbehaving and they send them to prison and they go back and become worse? It's a kind of transformation. I'm telling you. Also, many things can achieve transformation. Beating transforms people. True? We are very calm. Have you seen people that they beat and their identity changed? Ah? You look at them, the man they start flogging and the one that you are seeing now, something has happened. Let me share a story with you, em, to you.
Alright?
I remember I was teaching in a primary school years back and they brought the case of this girl and said that the girl was in the habit of eating her school fees. I mean, primary school. Alright? I won't tell you where. It can be somebody's village. So the girl was eating her scoofies and she said a spirit always entered her to eat the scoofies. She will steal her mom's money then eat it. So we sat down and teacher said even when they flog the girl, she doesn't cry because of the spirit. So I said, let me counsel her. So I called her, we sat down, we talked. I admonished her, showed her the Word of God, but I didn't stop there. So I said, in order for us to seal the transformation, we'll have to use manual method. He said, what do you mean, sir? I said, kin, just to seal it. So I said, I'm gonna give you 6 and then you will be transformed. And when we got to 3, he said, I saw the spirit leaving. Amen. Whether or not the spirit left, I can't tell, but she didn't steal money again. Now pay attention to this. You have to allow the word of God change you before life does. When life changes people, it leaves people with scars. But when the word of God transforms you, all right, you will burn a kind of fire without smoke, without residue. Now tonight I want to paint a story and probably show you something entirely different. From this story. Let me give you an intro to it. A woman was pregnant in the book of Genesis and she was having trouble. And in those days there was no ultrasound scan. So she went to inquire of the Lord, said the trouble is too much. And the Lord spoke to her that there are two nations in you. The elder will serve the younger. And I believe that's one of the most confusing passages of scriptures, particularly if you look at it on the surface.
All right.
Amen. Amen. All right. Can you hear me at the back?
Okay, all right.
Mia, okay. Amen. Now look at this story. The mother and the father had— it seems God picked his own position, and God said, I love the younger and I hate the elder. Now that's, that's a very deep word coming from God. If a child's father says, I hate you, Where should the child turn to if God looks at a child that has not done anything? And it looks like God is saying, Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated. Number one, it looks like that statement in itself can program Esau for misbehavior. True. But in the science of Bible interpretation You cannot assert a doctrinal position until you have confirmed who is doing the talking, who is he talking to, and what is the generational jurisdiction of the conversation. The one talking is God, and that figure is one that is difficult to understand. You can't describe the one you have not comprehended. All our description of the person of God is limited to our experiences. You, you— we are too limited in scope and information to really describe him. The, the highest we can do is to praise him in respect to things we can see. The one who is higher than the mountains. But God is more than that. The Bible said he made the heavens and the earth. I'm not sure if my mathematics is correct, but I'm sure you should be able to fit over 4,000 of the Earth's size into the sun. And he made the sun. And there are over 400 billion stars bigger than the sun, and he made them all. When you look at one who is that big, one who can walk away from humanity and say, 'I'm done,' and no one dares to question him, and he choose to live inside of us— it will take ignorance to look at a person he made and is dwelling inside to call the person small. It takes ignorance. Another very important, um, nature of God we have to pay attention to is that God is not in time. He made time, but it's beyond time. He lives outside space and time. If God is not in time, it means God cannot be too late or too early. When you say something is late, you are describing— it is relative to the fact that you are saying something can't catch up with it. He's the one who can tell the sun to stand in his place and it obeys. When he speaks, he stands. And I tell you, it is difficult for you to understand what it means to be outside time because you have never been outside time. That's why we have birth date. That shows us that we are in time, and there's a time to live and there's a time to die. Let me try paint the closest picture of what it means to be outside time so you can understand my story. If I write a script, a movie script, now maybe you will be able to understand better, and I give the script to someone to produce Then a director comes in to direct based on his understanding of the script. Then people come on the, on the scene or on the stage to act. There can't be actors unless the script was first concluded. The fact that you are seeing it on screen, meaning that you are seeing the beginning of a project that somebody finished. The one who wrote the script is not in the suspense with the one who is watching the script. When you watch the movie, the author and the finisher is not in time with you because he finished for you to commence. When you You begin to watch such movie and the author looks at the character and say, this I love, this I hate. He's speaking from the fact that what is about to be your present is a past with him. That's where God talks from. So when you hear God talk, don't reason, don't think of him like mortal men. What you call future is already a past. What that means is God did not start your life only to start imagining how you will end. He finished. Anxiety is a sign you have not encountered your script. He did not put you here and then God is now cracking his head that now that I've made her, who is she going to marry? It is a completed script. Are you following what I'm saying here? When you see such movies, you see a character that you love, say, I love this guy, and maybe you have 20 people— all those American movies— pursue one person with gun, they will shoot and is not touching the person. It is not because the person is invincible, but because the script says so. The script. Sometimes you are worried. This person is sick and the doctor says it is cancer. How will this person come out? All you have to do is to know what is written in the script. According to the script, this sickness was not unto death. And that's why every scripture that has to do with healing is in past tense. By his stripes we were healed, not we will be healed. It's finished. He's the author and the finisher of our faith. Lift your hands and say, thank you, Jesus. He finished everything. About you. You can't be anxious. God is not an irresponsible father. He's mindful of you. Let me preach that gospel in case you are not aware. So I just try to introduce to you the one who is talking, the one who said, 'Esau have I hated, Jacob have I loved.' He's speaking based on his knowledge of the both of them, and he's taking his posture. And something happened. The Bible said Jacob was a man who loved to stay indoor, he was a gardener. Esau was a man of the field. Those are two interesting professions, nothing different. It doesn't really testify of their character, just shows what they love to do. But in Genesis 27, something happened and there was a twist. So we were seeing that Isaac was about to die. Isaac said to Esau, the one that God said should serve the younger, that I want you to go and get me venison so I can eat. My soul will bless you, then I can die. Ah, you know, the mother— and thank God for mothers— the mother heard that thing, and the mother remembered the prophecy that the blessing flowing from Abraham to Isaac ought to go to Jacob, not Esau. And the mother told Jacob, your father had prepared to give your blessing to his or your brother. So quickly go and get me a kid, I want to kill it. The mother knows how to prepare a goat and make it taste like a venison. Said, I will give it to you. Jacob also, ah, this blessing. I know Jacob already bargained for the blessing. You can't bargain in the energy of the flesh. For spiritual things. So they got the kid, killed it, clothed Jacob with the skin. Jacob carried it, took it to Isaac the father. Let me ask you a question: if God says, 'I will bless you,' do you need games to be blessed? He said, I am the God of all flesh. There's nothing too difficult for me. What they were saying in essence is the junction we have gotten to now, this is beyond the capacity of God. If we don't do anything about it, although God took a position, the blessing will move from Isaac to Esau. So because God can't do anything about it. Let's help God. And that's what many of us do. We just believe at this point that this has gotten to— this is beyond the capacity of God. Was it possible for Jacob to get— and for Esau to kneel down in front of Isaac? And like the case of Balak and Balaam, God will speak and say, the blessing is for the younger. But no, they were acting drama. So Jacob carried the venison and presented it to his father. Although a wrong stage play, but it's very symbolic. Symbolic in the sense that the Bible said in Genesis 27 that when he brought the meat to the father, Isaac touched his body and said, this is the flesh of Esau, but the voice of Jacob. He carried the meat with boldness. And that's the same way we come with boldness to the throne of grace, covered with the sacrifice of the one who died. It is the voice of Femi Lazarus, but the person of Christ. We can enter Ah, with boldness. He said, ah, he smelled— Genesis 27:27, he smelled the smell of the kid that died and said, the smell of my son is like the smell of a field that the Lord has blessed. And then began to pronounce the blessing. Therefore the Lord give you of the dew from above and the fatness of the earth. And plenty of corn and wine. Be you ruler over your brethren, and so on and so forth. He placed the blessing on him. And the Bible said, as soon as he has made an end of blessing Jacob, Esau came in, and Esau saw Jacob leaving. You know, because of this drama, that family got destroyed forever. A father was on his deathbed, seeing that his second son had deceived him. The owner of the blessing came. There was no blessing left. My wife, you that I love with all my life, joined him to deceive me. Father died, Jacob running away, Esau running after him, mother left alone. That's not the pattern of God. And if you ask Jacob that day, Jacob said he believed he's been blessed. But as we study his life, we didn't see the pattern of the blessing. What we saw was struggles upon struggles upon struggles. Femi Lazarus laboring without wages for years because the method of men can't bring the things of God to pass. God wanted to bless him indeed, but sometimes our agitations will add extra time and we make it impossible for God to do what he wants to do. And that was the case of Jacob. He went to Laban's place, saw a very fine girl, said, I like her. Say, okay. You know, he himself was the one who said, I will labor for 7 years. So they didn't ask him. That was the value of his time— 7 years wages.
All right.
So by the time they wanted to give him the girl, they said, okay, 7 years. When the 7— they said you will have to marry at night. He married that night, say yeah, and woke up in the morning, ah, what did they give me? It was not the day where you use solar or on your phone, touch light and say let me check. He said, I'm going to do another 7 years. That's not the pattern. That's not the pattern of ease. He did another 7 years. And hope you know the woman he spent the entire 14 years chasing, she did not even give birth to the consequential tribes. Judah still came from the one he hated. Levi still came from the one he hated, meaning that there was something about Leah, and God was trying to redirect his journey, but he wouldn't see God. Yes, past Jacob was always scheming. He's too smart. Some people are too smart for God. God wants to do amazing things, but they are too intelligent. They think it is the same sense you need to have in first class that you need to work in the plan of God. You will have to die to many of the things you know to be aligned to God. Okay, and that's why some of the smartest people can even be delayed in destiny, because this one is not by mental calculation, it is by alignment, by alignment. And the word of God can achieve that thing, that place of transformation, but life can achieve it too. Some will have to be beaten blue-black by life to say, Lord, okay, I recognize you now. And I submit. Maybe you are showing a girl, about this guy, so what kind of car does he drive? Life is gymming. By the time life is done gymming, our next question would not be what kind of car does he drive, it will be, is he born again? Does he know God? When the flesh is loud, we look smart. Because sometimes God allowed the process of time to show us how frail we are, to show us how limited we are. And all the attempts of God to help Jacob, none of them could work. He wasn't walking in the blessing. In Genesis 32, after several years, when he will be meeting Esau, his brother, he was still scheming. Let's share these goods into two. You know, some of you should go ahead so that by the time Esau sees us, he will not kill us. Turn your Bibles there quickly. Genesis chapter number 32. I want to show you a few things. If you are there, say amen. Genesis 32. Now look at it. All right, let's start from verse 1. And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. And when Jacob saw them, he said, this is God's host. And he called the name of the place Mahanaim. And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother, unto the land of Seir, in the country of Edom. And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall you speak unto my lord Esau. Are you seeing the twist of event? Thy servant Jacob says thus. I thought the father made him a lord to Esau, but it didn't play out. I have sojourned with Laban and stayed there until now. I have oxen and flock and so on and so forth. Let me jump a bit for the sake of time. That same Genesis 32, let's jump to verse 22. Genesis 32, verse 22. And he rose up that night and took his two wives and his two women servants and his 11 sons and passed over ford Jabok. And he took them and sent them over the brook and sent over that he had. Let's read verse 24 together. 1, 2, 3, go. This is all that God has been waiting for a person, for someone to do here. Maybe for the first time in 20 years of struggle, when will you actually be alone? That you come to the point that you are at the end of your own strength. Let me show you a scripture. Matthew chapter number 5, verse 3. If they can project Message translation. Matthew 5:3, Message Translation. This is a very, very crucial one in our walk with God. Matthew 5:3, do we have it? Thank you. Look at this: You are blessed when you are at where? The end of your rope, for with less of you there is more of God and of his rule. Sometimes all God is saying is, when will you exhaust this your smartness? When? When will you be tired? Read Genesis 17, if I'm not mistaken. It was when Abraham was 99 that God said, I am the God Almighty, the El Shaddai. Walk before me and be perfect. God waited till he no longer had strength to go into his house help. You can't bet Isaac with the same energy it takes to bet Ishmael. Isaacs are not product of your strength, they are product of his strength. Are you following what I'm saying here? There are two kinds of delay. You are either about to bet a Samuel. You bet a Samuel when you are still within time. But when it has ceased to be with you after the manner of women, that is the time you can bet an Isaac. And that happens when you come to the end of yourself, the point that someone now says, ah, I have tried. I'm now aware that I am not as smart as I think. I think now I have to fall back to base. That's all God is waiting for, for someone. That's all God wants someone to do. The moment Isaac was left alone, that's the first time The Bible was showing us that he was alone in all the years. What happened? Look at it, verse 23. Now quickly, media, help me. Verse 23, quickly. Genesis 32, verse 23. Thank you, Lord.
All right, yes.
And he took them and over— yes, all that he had. Quickly, let's go on. Verse 24: And Jacob was left alone, and he wrestled a man with him, and wrestled a man, the wrestled man with him all until the breaking of the day. Yes, verse 25 now, quickly: And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint. As he wrestled with him. Yes. And he said, let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let you go unless you what? Unless you what? Unless you what? He was aware that the blessing didn't rest. He was aware that I didn't see the pattern of this struggle with my grandfather Abraham. I didn't see the pattern of this struggle in my father Isaac. Bless me. Yes, quickly. And he said unto him, what is your name? The last time this question was asked, he said, my name is Esau. The last time. You want the blessing? The same exam. Several years ago. Write it now. You lied to Isaac. Again, I'm asking you, what is your name? Because he was a man at the end of his rope, I said, I'm Jacob. I'm Jacob. Maybe what God would have inspired Isaac to say, it was delayed till this point. Then he said, your name will no longer be called Jacob but Israel. For as a prince, you have power with God and with men, and you have prevailed. The same thing. All he needed to do several decades ago was to agree. Actually, I am Jacob. And God could have done what he does best. He's the master orchestrator. You can't plan your life like he will. When he plans it, you enter into rest. So he said, from today you are Israel. You have strength with men. But it did something to him. Jacob, your problem all your life has been your ability to have fast moves, but it took the olo of his thigh out of joint. Now you will have to learn speed without running. Some of the things that many of us call disadvantage is our greatest advantage. You will have to learn that the real speed is when God carries a man. It is not they that have connections that will be strong. It is they that do know their God that shall be strong and shall do exploit. They that do know their God. Sometimes you've got to exhaust all your contacts God is— I am the God of all flesh. Is there anything too difficult for me? Maybe before I continue teaching, I should ask someone today, maybe to cry to God in a minute. I am tired of my own effort. I'm tired. Lagos put you in a place where You have to find your way. And sometimes we miss God. I'm at the end of my rope. Jesus, thou Son of David, help me. May I ask you to pray that in a minute? Be on your feet. And I, I need you to pray very sincere prayers, like the man who was blind. He knew he had no other hope. There is a way you pray when you believe I still have option A, B, C, and D. But there's a way you pray when you are at the end of your rope. I come down today from my own high horse and I cast all my cares and worries on you, Jesus. Thou son of David, help me.
Help me!
I am tired of my strength and my method. Help me! Let someone stay on strings for me. Lift your voice. You have a minute to pray it. You have a minute to pray it. Lift your voice loud and clear. Help me! I am at the end of my rope. I'm at the end of my strength. I've come to acknowledge I'm not as smart as I thought. Not as smart as I thought. I thought I knew it all, but it's occurring to me that you are the one who actually gives speed. You are the one who actually helps. And unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain that builds it. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen wait but in vain. Help me. You know the man. You're not a man, you're the God who opens doors no man can show. You're not a man, you're not a man, you're not a man, you're the You are not a man that you should lie, neither are you the son of man that you should repent. I submit my ways to you. Help me, help me, help me, help me. You're not a man, you're not a man, you're the God of everything. Amen. Please be seated for a while. Now that same Genesis 32. Now it will interest you to see how far people can go instead of trusting their ways to the hands of God. I've seen people do amazing and very, very ridiculous things. Somebody that God has placed the grace upon his life that will open the door of nations will not mind but to do arrangee marriage with someone who has no stake in their destiny just to be in US or Canada. That when the grace of God on your life begins to speak The doors of nations will open at once. There is nothing the devil presents to a man that he does not already have. The devil only check to see your level of ignorance to promise you what you have. It does not yet appear what we shall become. The only difference is between the version of you that received the promise and the version that will see the fulfillment, there must be transformation. There must be. Again, let me say it. If the— if you ever hear that the devil gives anybody anything, it is because it was in God's plan already. It cannot give you what was not in your script. They can't. He's not an author or a finisher. No, he may manipulate, but he's not an author. He's not. He's not. Now look at this, verse 28. And he said, thy name shall be no more Jacob, but Israel. For as a prince thou hast power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him and said, tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, wherefore is it that thou ask me my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. Now verse 31 is very, very interesting. And as he passed over Penuel, the sun rose upon him, and he halted on his thigh. He might be halting on his thigh, but for the first time, the sun rose over him, meaning that it didn't matter what age he was when that happened. His day just broke. It didn't matter what age he was. Let me tell you something. Can I have 3 brothers? Emmanuel, come. Can I have 2 more brothers? Are you a brother, sir? All right, thank you, sir. I needed to ask. I know he's our pastor. The word man is an acronym of 3 different words: morning, afternoon, and night. These are the 3 seasons, seasons of a man's life. The morning face is the face of beauty. When children are young, they are beautiful. Everybody wants to hug them. But in the afternoon face, you'll have to end the hug. The morning face is the face of dreams. You are permitted to have 10 things you want to become, but before you cross to the afternoon phase, it is important you see well, because what you dream of in the afternoon— the morning is what you do in the afternoon. The night phase is the phase of consequence. If you have wrong vision in the morning, you do wrong work in the afternoon. And you'll have no rest at night. This is the amazing thing: none of these three phases has to do with time. None of them has to do with what?
Time.
Your night phase can start at 25. Look at what the Bible says: honor your father and your mother so that your day will be long. Your day being long is not necessarily your life being long, but it means the season of your life that is bright will be longer than the season of darkness. Your— I'm praying for somebody here today. Your day will be long. It is possible to give birth to a child, and by the virtue and the nature of the kind of family, the child was born into the night season. It will have to find the day. I do tell people that my life began at night. You have to seek God to find the day. Sometimes you have to break generational patterns, that it doesn't matter how many generations has lived in darkness. From me going forward, let our sun shine. And that was the prayer of Joshua. We just started winning. How can the sun be setting? Let the sun remain still over Ajaleon. Let the moon not ascend to its place. He will finish. You have just started your life. They can't tell you it is night. Sometimes one medical report can announce the night. If there's anyone here, they're already pointing to the night again today. Your son will come back to his place. If there's anyone here that just when he start looking like he's beautiful and suddenly they are saying round up, I insist, in connection to the grace upon this house, your son will not set in a hole. Your sun begins to shine. That's the time your day begins. The man at the Pool of Bethesda has been at night all through his life for 38 years, but the day Jesus came, he brought him into his day. It is one thing for your day for your sun to shine. It is another thing for you to carry the key to turn people's night into day. There are people that just favor from somebody who knows the key of favor will bring the entire lineage out of the night. I want us to know that we are not just expecting our sun will rise. God has also given us the key to go over territories and said it's been dark here for centuries. We have come to unlock the key of the day. Let the sun resume its work over this place. There are families at night, they've been at night all through their days. The Bible noted it. From that day, the sun rose over him. He became another man. It doesn't matter how efficient you are. Nobody can see you at night. It's not like some people are not working hard. But there's no illumination. It is the hard work that people see that they can reward. Again, I'm insisting, anyone who is here who is working so hard but your light is not shining, from today you will enter into your own day. Please sit down, sir. You know, you can meet somebody at night and treat the person anyhow and meet the same person in the day and not believe what you did at night. I was in a meeting to minister a while back and someone came to greet me and I was so excited. And I told the person driving me that, do you know I'm so happy to see this person? The last time we met, I was in school and they said I couldn't graduate because I had some outstanding bills. So he was the one I reached out to to help me. The next place I saw it was on Facebook. He dragged me with my intestines, but that was at night. If you refuse to be transformed, there is no such thing as tomorrow will be okay. Tomorrow can still be night until something happens to you. You say because I have suffered today that tomorrow is going to be better. It's not compulsory. It's not automatic. One of the most dangerous things or place to be in life is to be hopeful that the sun will rise when you are not doing anything about it. You can remain at the same spot for life. I'm sorry to use example, but it's the truth. Go to Oshodi. People smoking and wasting their lives, they speak faith more than Christians in church. They sing it, they think it, but they are not doing anything about it. Anybody's day can break at any time. Your day can break at 70. Can break at 50, and you can raise a generation that will be born into the day, their lives. It has nothing to do with money. It has everything to do with being in the will of God. Again, I want to insist, anyone who has been operating at night Your son will rise. Maybe they are not here, but in case they are here, again I insist, your son will rise. I don't have time. I would have loved to show you.
All right.
Okay, let me show you the version of Jacob that the sun is shining on. Are you ready to see that? Let's turn our Bibles. Genesis. Give me a moment. Thank you, Lord. I want the keyboardist to be on strings for me. I'm rounding up now. Turn your Bible to the book of Genesis, chapter number— just give me a moment. Genesis 45. Let's start the reading from verse 25. And they went out of Egypt and came to the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father, and told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is the governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, and he believed them not. And they told him all the words of Joseph which he had said unto them. And when they saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived. Now it was no longer Jacob that was speaking, and Israel said, it is enough. Joseph, my son, is well alive. Now we can go on with this story. When Joseph went to present Israel to Pharaoh, it was him pronouncing blessings on Pharaoh. He had tasted the energy of the flesh. He had tasted what it means to carry the blessing. When he met Pharaoh, he never schemed and said no. He was contented in what he was carrying. And he blessed Pharaoh and said, let the blessings of the Lord be upon him. It is the man whose son is up that his blessings are appreciated. Let me give you— you don't understand what I mean? I'm going to tell you what I mean. If you are driving on the road and somebody is asking, please, ₦50, And they are doing it with blessings. Many of you don't even say amen because you feel if you are blessed, it should work for you. Nobody says amen to the blessing of the one who is at night. It is the one who is in the day that that his words are valued. For you to now get to the point that you are the one praying for kings— let me give another illustration, you will understand this one better. When a man who is at night ask you for money, you call it begging. When a man who is in the day ask you for money, You call it networking. It is not what you ask or who is asking, it matters the condition of the person. Ah, you will not do life at night. Shame is not pleasant. I want us to pray. I just sense that we should pray. Is there anyone here who has seen the need for us to spend the remaining few minutes to pray?
Huh?
I want you to leave the comfort of your chairs, your seat. And find a location. I'm done with life at night. Let my sun come back to his place. Let the sun not set over Ajaleon. Let my sun not hasten down in a hurry. From this moment, let something happen in my life that my sun will resume It's shining. Let my sun resume its shining. Revive me, Lord. Let my light shine. Let my light shine. Let my light shine. Let my light shine. Let my light shine. Let my light shine. I need you to pray this prayer not like Lagosians but like men of prayer. Pray, let my light shine. Jesus, thou Son of David, help me. I've exhausted my strength. Let something happen in my life that will cause a shift. Help me, help me, help me. Help me, help me, help me, help me. Let my son go back to his place. Help me. Shake off the dust that has gathered on you for so long. Step out of the darkness of shame you have wrapped yourself in. There is hope for a tree that is cut down, cuz at the center Water. Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray. In Jesus Mighty name we're praying. Let me leave you with these words: never get into offense with anyone for how they treated you. Only reach out to God that your light will shine. Sometimes, listen, they are still later going to come back to celebrate you, but they may not be able to see you well at night. And when the light shines, everyone rejoices. It is a season of transformation where your light will shine. Sometimes it looks like the sun is setting, and one instruction from God can bring the day back again. The word of the Lord went to Ezekiel to to prepare his house because he was going to die. And the same God said, I have brought back his son for another 16 years. If there's anyone here that looks like your sun is setting, it will not haste him to his place. Your light will shine and you will not do life in darkness. It is done in Jesus' mighty name. God bless you.
Just keep talking to God and say, Father, let my light shine, let my light shine, let my life be transformed, let my life shine, let the day dawn on me, let it be a new day for me, let it be a day of transformation. A day of transformation, a day of healing, a day of restoration, a day of blessing. Everything stopping my light from shining, I command you to get out of my life, of my heart, of my home, of my brain, in the name of Jesus. Let the Lord transform my life. With wrestling, with holding, with pinning me down. Let me become deeply spiritual, not depending on my own strength but of the strength and the blessings and the will of God. Let my life shine, let my life shine. Everything holding me bound in darkness, I command and I condemn. I condemn and I condemn. I condemn and I condemn. I condemn and I condemn everything holding me bound in darkness. I condemn and I condemn, I condemn and I condemn everything holding me bound in darkness. My ability to help myself, my ability not to trust God, my ability not to depend on the Almighty God. Father, have mercy, have mercy.
Thank you, Father.
I want your heads to be bowed, your eyes to be closed, and for you to spend the next few minutes in personal prayer. You know the area of your life that is in darkness, and you know if your entire life is in darkness. You know if you are going through the valley of the shadow of death. You know if your morning has not yet arisen. You know if you have been walking in the flesh. You know if your life has been a struggle in spite of the blessing, in spite of the desire of God to promote you. You know, if you have been working with the devil and not allowing God to do his will in your life, talk to God yourself. There's some of us who need to drop some habits. There's some of us who need to drop some things that we're doing. There's some of us who need to drop drop our own reliance on ourselves, on other people. There's some of us who need to drop the trust in the arm of flesh, the fears and the anxieties of our lives. I want you to talk to God tonight. All heads are bowed and all eyes are closed. And if you are here this night under the sound of my voice, you need your light to shine. You need that special touch, that special relationship with God, and you are asking the Lord Almighty to raise up your morning today so that you can have that relationship with him that will bring transformation to your life. I want you to touch your heart with your own right hand wherever you may be. All heads are bowed and all eyes are closed. You need your light to shine. You need transformation in your life. You need that special touch from God. You need to stop depending on yourself. Please touch your heart with your right hand and talk to God. Talk to God. Talk to God. Touch your heart in your right hand and talk to God.
Talk to God.
You want to start a new relationship with God tonight. You want to start a new relationship with the Almighty. You want to start a new way with God, please touch your heart with your right hand. You touch your heart with your right hand. You want to give your life to Jesus Christ for the first time, or you want to rededicate that life to Jesus, please touch your heart with your right hand and leave it there. Just leave it there. Leave it there tonight. Leave it there tonight, because God is about to do something new, something fresh in your life, in the name of Jesus. If you are touching your heart with your right hand and you know that you want your light to shine, you want a new relationship with God,
