So let's look at it. The Book of Luke, chapter number 4. We start the reading from Let's start from verse 1 to 5. Luke 4, from verse 1 to 5. And Jesus, being full of the Holy Ghost, returned from Jordan, and he was led by the Spirit. That's the Holy Spirit. So when you read the Bible, you see the word Spirit can be written two ways: small letter s often referred to the human spirit, and capital S often referred to the Holy Spirit. And that's why when you read Galatians 5 in the original context and you see the fruit of the spirit is, it is not capital letter, it is small letter. It is the fruit of the recreated human spirit that is in fellowship with God. The Holy Ghost doesn't bear fruit. Are you still there?

So he was led by the Spirit— that's the Holy Spirit— into the wilderness, being 40 days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing. And when they were ended, he afterward hungered. And the devil said unto him, if thou be the Son of God, command these stones that they be made what? Bread. Yes. Jesus answered him, saying, it is written that man shall not live by bread alone. Mark the word, man shall not live by bread alone. Bread alone, meaning that man needs bread but not bread alone. But by every word of God. Verse 5: And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of this world in a moment of time. Verse 6. Let's read verse 6 together. 1, 2, 3, go. And the devil said unto him, all this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me at whomsoever I will. So we are going to sit on this today. By reading verse 6 alone, I had to lock myself up to cry. Because I wish that the church will understand. Once you can get it, we're moving. Let's read verse 6 together again. And the devil said unto him, Now hold on. What did the devil show him? The kingdoms of this world and the glory of this world. Now what you need to understand in context please, please get it right— is that the kingdoms of this world and the glory of the kingdoms of this world, according to that scripture, because the devil said, 'For it has been delivered to me,' and we understand that there was only one place of great exchange. The fall of man. If the fall of man was what triggered the exchange, it means it is not sinful. The kingdom in itself is not a sin to possess. Let's try get that now. Because the devil said, 'For it has been delivered to me.' You know, I saw a documentary. Some people went to the jungle to see gorillas and all that. Well, I really don't know why anybody wants to go and see any gorilla. What is on TV is enough. I really can't trust myself around a creature I can't trust the intelligence. Gorilla. And so when they go to see the gorilla in the rainforest and all that, they all have to bow because as the gorilla is passing, the gorilla is checking, I'm not going to walk like that.

Can I borrow somebody? The gorilla is checking, and if the gorilla sees that you are not bowing, it feels you're a threat. And I was asking myself, how did we so fall that we have to bow because a gorilla is passing? Is that bad? Now, even when you get to a place that they say, please come in, the dog doesn't bite— have you heard that statement before? What comes to my mind is, are you the dog? Do you know when the dog decides to change the mind? Which one is he doesn't bite? What if it has moose wing? Ah, no, I won't try it. And I was asking myself, we fell this bad? When God made man— try my best to explain now, and I'll tell you why explaining this is one of the most difficult things. The fish of the sea means that not just the fish, but the fish of the sea, the habitat, whatever it is that can be— that will be later discovered as a product from that— man has dominion over it. The fowl of the air, Whatever will be discovered as a product over that, man has dominion over it. He will have the ability to replicate God's kind of rule on earth. And he said over all the earth. That's what was extended to man. And when God said all those things, he said over every creeping thing. Look at verse 27. And God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he them, male and female created he them. Created him— sorry, male and female created them. Now look at— and God blessed them and said, be fruitful and multiply.

Be fruitful means produce.

It's beyond just the fruit of your loins, it's also the fruit of your hands. And that's why kingdom not people who are living by senses. Kingdom. You don't leave a location because it's not fruitful. It is not location that determines fruitfulness, it is persons, what you carry. Are you still here? Make that a point of decision in your heart, that wherever I am, whatever I'm doing will either work or it works No plan B. It either works or it what?

So you see that the man that God made from the beginning was not obscure, but somehow he lost everything. And what he lost, the devil now came Years after, chronologically about 4,000 years after, to negotiate with what man lost. What you should learn from this is what the devil is using to negotiate with our brothers outside is what actually belongs to us that we lost. I don't know if you get what I'm saying. My God, church, are you following what I'm teaching? What the devil was negotiating with did not belong to him in the first place. Okay, let me explain. Please come, both of you should come. The things that believers drop at dung site are the things he picked, corrupted, and will corrupt those who want it and give them. There's nothing the devil promised that you didn't have in Christ. Through teaching. Through what? Through what? Through what?

Teaching.

Look at this. Someone was able to effectively communicate that this is one way to appease whatever god it is, or goddesses they is that you're worshiping. And people will rub all these things on their head. And some of them, look at it, he's pierced his skin, his shoulders and all that. I think that thing came out from the mouth on the both sides. It's easy to spot, particularly if you're a good student of the word. What is difficult to spot is a false teacher. It's not fake. He's anointed. A false teacher is not fake, he's anointed, he's Spirit-filled, but he was not prepared. It is difficult to tell the church that we don't have to straddle between two extremes, that there should be no lasciviousness doesn't mean that there are not things that God ordained for you.

This is a body of truth. The truth in itself is correct, or this particular reality is what God wants us to enter. People only celebrate what they didn't meet. And they fight what is in front of them. It is not passion, it is lies, it is the deception of man's heart. Listen to what I'm saying. The same miracles that took place in the days of Archbishop Femi Lazarus, they are still happening now, but we call it false. And when these same men die and go, another generation will say we miss their days. It is the way the devil has been able to master how to deceive the church. So you So let me explain deception. This is what is sin.

This is why we pray for kings. This is why we pray for those who are in authority, so that their eyes will be opened to see reality. Listen, deception is not necessarily through words, it is change of perception. That— and copy and paste, this is not just about leaders. This can be the reality of a person's life. If you should see this reality, he will pray. But this is what he's seen. There's calmness, everything is fine. How many of us are in this situation now, that this is the reality? And if you see this, you will pray. But this is what you're seeing. If they try to convince you that there's fire on the mountain, you are not seeing it. It's not like you are stubborn, you are just not seeing it. I ask that your eyes of understanding will open.

So please, ladies, sit down first. This is a body of truth. Come, Pastor. And this is Generation One. This truth belongs to you, but the presentation was not accurate because as time passes, knowledge increases. So what the devil does is to focus your attention on what is not accurate and then make you hate what is yours. That you don't just like that it's not accurate, you now say we don't even want. These ones are the bloggers using Christian names. For views and for $100, $500, $2,000. Somebody's offering. It is amazing the kind of absurdity we descend to. And why is all these things happening? Because the church didn't take responsibility. To discipleship. Teach people about the media and the correct way to do it. We neglected that till wrong people saw opportunity in every fight in church that they can cash out from it. Let two people start arguing, they have made money for bloggers because they will cash out. I've seen people desperately trying to do vlogging and talking rubbish. For those who are addicted to their phone in this season, as they say, I'm so not— not Cristiano Ronaldo. You go see what you go do now. You go see what you go do. Go see what you go do. You, you dead there. They see what you go do. All this people serve. Ah, now which one be this again? Somebody is there making money off you, then you come out of that and be sleeping in church. Which I supposed to talk now? That's why most I like them on the light, they ourself. The devil is playing a fast one on the church, a very fast one, because we, we become over-religious that we did not know that we have become hateful. The reason why many believers get triggered around the subject of God's ability to prosper and bless his own is because maybe for a while it was thought that it's just giving that brings that dimension, and people were not taught diligence, they were not taught many other things. But it's clearly written in the Bible. In fact, don't just read Deuteronomy 8:18, read verse 19 to understand the context. Look at it, Deuteronomy 8:19, 18 and 19, quickly. I want to show you. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to do what? Now let me ask you a question, dear Christians, is wealth a sin? No, you have to answer me now. Now listen, what the church should not teach is covetousness. You can be blessed and not covetous.

You can be.

God wants his children to be blessed. God wants his children to— he wants his covenant to be established in their lives. He wants you to walk in the blessing. But you will hate it when you see videos of someone manipulating the members, and in your anger towards such, you now say, all these liars. You generalize. And when they begin to talk about a subject that is your own inheritance, what happens? You are triggered. It's a foul game. That the devil is playing on the church so that as you relinquish what is yours, he can have much more to bring his own people into and use them as bargaining tool. And the cycle never ends. When our own people now want to get to scale, when our people want to scale— and many of you must have experienced that before, that you need a mentor, you want to get something If care is not taken, you get the mentor who has the money, has the knowledge, but doesn't know your God. And they tell you, come and see me in the club. Have you seen that before? Have you seen that before? Have you seen that before?

More reason why the devil needs you to relinquish what is yours, so that as you go to those clubs, you see a lifestyle. And you just begin to conclude it looks as though nobody can really get through all these things without doing all these things. He wants to have more than enough to negotiate with. Meanwhile, if believers can hold those things and the young people want to learn, you can tell them to come over and they see God in your life. That a man can be this blessed and yet a man of integrity. A man can be this blessed and yet husband of one wife. A man can be this blessed and yet a man of honor.

And in doing that, you introduce them to your God. We deny all these things, then there are many questions unanswered. Many began smoking for the first time. Because they met a mentor who is smoking. Many began taking crack and all those things because someone who had the cash invited them to places. I, I was listening to the story and the guy said he went to party I'm not the one that went there, him. Because we are looking at me, I no good, they go preach. He went to party, and so while they were just enjoying, then just came around. I said, hey, what kind of women do you like? What kind of women do you like? You like Black Americans? You like Caucasians, you like Costa Ricans, you like Mexicans. Look at women, they are displaying power that at this level anything we want you can get. If you want 50 at once, we can give you. The devil likes to display what he has like a pickup. So that while you are staring at that beauty, your concentration is melting and you no longer really know who you are. But he wants to give you the impression that I have all the power. Imagine someone tell you I can get you any kind of girls, and if that thing is not dead, you are carried away, you are carried away, and you miss it. Many of you know what I'm talking about. People you will respect because of their success in their business field or the skill as professionals or technocrats, but their life, their home is nothing to write home about. You don't want to be like them in that angle, but you cannot deny the fact that they have the money. It's difficult to teach this because once you teach this, you look like a money monger. Sounds like deception. And for a while, many Christians in Nigeria stopped giving in their local churches because someone was able to convince you that pastors are thieves. You come to church— many of you have not recovered. You're still damaged. You, and you didn't pay attention to the fact that in your suspicion you started decaying because that placed you outside the court and you were fizzling out. The devil is playing a fast one and he's playing a fast one on you, and we think that it's part of being youthful and smart. I'm not saying believers should not be intelligent. I'm not anti-intelligence. What I'm saying, we live by the dictate of scriptures and we believe what the Bible says is true. The devil has many things to go around because of the negligence of Christians. I can call many ministries, like Ministry of this, Ministry of that, in this city. When you go there, the most powerful people there, from 1 to 5, 1 to 5, 1 to 5, men of other faiths, 1 to 5, men of other faiths, 1 to 5, men of other faiths. Go to government-owned hospitals. People of other faiths. What happened to believers? It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter, nothing is going to happen. And the devil is doing silent colonization. Where did you go? Who are the friends you began to mingle with that your love for your own family died? Who is that mentor who began to show you that there's nothing really wrong with having your wife at home and many other girlfriends? Who did you see? Who did you meet? Who told you that? Who told you through his life that once you are rich at this level, it's okay to come back home by 1 AM?

Where did you see it?

What changed? A negotiation is going on and you are bowing already. The prince of this world is showing you his glory. He's showing you that important people only come out at this time of the night. But there is the God of all flesh who is always available at every time, and it's they that do know him that will do exploit.

And there are few remnants, and that's why when we get to this realm, it is painful because there are very few believers that you can point to who are not compromising and yet blessed.

So it looks like, well, this is what everybody's doing, so if we're going to get to all this point, we too have to find a way. If you can't beat them, you join them. Says who? Daniel stood in Babylon. You will stand. Many of you in the marketplace, you've got to understand that you have a very serious battle to fight because a generation will come searching for your kind who survive what you are trying to survive. When they see that you survive it, they will be able to grab themselves to you. The fact that you are finding few mentors you can trust and, you know, hang around shows you that you have to become what you didn't get.

You have to.

That you can be young, blessed, and have a prayer life. Oh yes, you have to. You have to fight. So that the next generation is not convinced that when it comes to this material blessing, you have to compromise and break principles. You have to be living in sin. No, I understand the loneliness. I understand the fact that sometimes you need people who are in that field who understand the dynamics. I get it.

But sometimes you are what you are looking for. Sometimes you are— you have that pain so that someone else will not have that pain. Can God trust you with wealth? Can he trust you? I don't want to believe that it's true that in this city, once people are successful, they must become immoral. I don't think that's necessary. I don't think it's true. Godliness with contentment, great gain. Look at how peaceful your life will be if you will do everything the Bible says to do. Look at the kind of wife God has given to you. Look at your children. See how radiant they are with you by their side. You leave a void that money can't fill when you are missing in action. Always you will make that money, but you are destroying people. Look at what it will be if you and your wife will join hands together and pray about impulse that God is placing in your spirit and agree together about that contract. Not a silly girl who doesn't know anything about your covenant with God making decisions on behalf of your wife. How did we come to the conclusion that you can't find true blessing in the house of God? Imagine someone who have been going after you as a mentor, coming to church and hearing what you are hearing. You've shown them that it's possible. Sometime when the pressure becomes so much and everyone you trust have failed one way or the other, you are looking for those who didn't compromise. Will you become that for a generation?

Will you?

The devil is negotiating with what is ours that we neglected. Many of you actually now no longer really pray about your finance again because somehow you got to a point that you became convinced that it doesn't matter to God, but it does.

I wish you know that event can happen and they are negotiating what is yours, and by demonic manipulation they always conclude you don't deserve that much. Now you can work contract and it is stipulated this percentage is yours.

Once, twice, thrice, four times they always conclude it's too much for him and leave you in pain because you believe that you should pray about your spiritual life, not your finances, because you think it's not spiritual. Many of you wake up on Monday morning and never rebuke the devil from your affairs and say every manipulating spirit that waves favor away I command that you will fold like a mat around my life. I step this week into prepared places.

The same words I had: your Father in heaven wants you to be blessed. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health. How come you pay attention to being in health, not prospering? Even as your soul prospers, it's demonic that you don't care.

And yet you are working hard, but the spiritual control spin, the back end, you don't care about that, but you are working hard. What you're saying is, God, get your hands off my finance, I can work for it.

And the devil likes that because the opportunity you didn't trust God for, he will put his own there.

They will get it and have to defile you for you to get a portion.
