Speaker D leads a worship service centered on Genesis 45, using Joseph's reunion with Jacob to teach about spiritual revival. Thanksgiving is a covenant practice, not just a ritual opener. The sermon emphasizes declaring expectations loudly, picturing testimonies, and speaking prophetic words to activate personal breakthroughs.

of living water. Out of my belly shall flow rivers, rivers of living water. Let it flow, let it flow. Yes, let it flow, let it flow. Let it flow! Let it— oh let it flow right here, right now! Let it flow! Let it flow! Let it flow! Let it flow! Oh let it flow right here... Now. Sia la makafia nani?
The mountains keep like rams before her presence. Little hills like lambs, what hill did thou see that thou fleetest? And thou mountain, that thou skippedst like a ram? Trembled thou at the presence of the God of Jacob, who turned the rock into a flint of water? We bless you, Lord. You are higher than the kings of the earth. You stand out in your class, and you are God all by yourself. No beginning and no end. You are Alpha Omega, the one who was, the one who is, and the one who is to come. Jehovah is your name. We bless you, Lord. When you say a thing, it becomes a law. No match with you. None can search out your powers.
Bless and strengthen you in the name of Jesus. Can we lift our hands where we are as we thank God tonight for another opportunity given to us to gather as his people to receive his counsel. I want us to thank him. Let's give him praise. Let's give him glory. Let's give him honor. Let's give him adoration. He deserves the lifting up of our hands, and there's none to be compared to him. Let's thank him for January, for February, for March, for April, for May, for June, for July, August, September, and here we are crossing over to the month of October. What a good God we serve! The Bible says the heavens and the earth adore him, even angels bow before you, we give you praise. When you say a thing, it becomes a law. You are the Lord God Almighty, the whole earth is full of your We thank you, Lord, because righteousness and justice are the foundations of your throne. We give you praise, we give you honor, we give you adoration, we give you all thanksgiving, Lord. You deserve it. You deserve the lifting up of our hands. You deserve the lifting up of our hands. You deserve the lifting up of our hands. We give you praise, God. We thank you for going out and coming in throughout the month of September and all the months before. We thank you for all that you're doing with us. Thank you, Lord, for doing what only you can do.
Thank you.
We give you praise. We give you praise. We give you praise. I want us to thank him because he deserves it. Let's, let's honor his name. He's the Most High God, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Who is like unto you, Lord? Who is like unto you? You're glorious in holiness, you are fearful in praise. You do wonders, you perform miracles. We give you praise in Jesus' mighty name. We Now I want us to understand that thanksgiving is a covenant practice. You see, people think that praise is a way to begin a meeting, more like, um, there's no other importance to praise than what you do when you are starting a meeting. But that's not it, all right? That's not the way it is. That's not the way it is. I've shown you again and again. Jeremiah 30:19 says, out of them shall proceed thanksgiving. What does it mean? Sorry, to give thanks. It means to appreciate what God has done. And he says, the voice of them that make merry. Then, then he will glorify them because he accepts our praise. He inhabits the midst of our praise. He dwells in our praise.
Praise God!
So it is— it takes a sanctified mind to recognize, to acknowledge what God has done. You see, and I've said this again and again, we must not embrace the culture that trivializes God's involvement. Paul plants, Apollo waters. They've done as far as human can do. You can either plant or you can water, but we must always acknowledge the fact that it is God who gives increase. He said in Deuteronomy chapter number 8, he said, it is the Lord your God who gives you power to get wealth. 8:18, I'm the one who gives you power to get wealth. You may work, you may know how to do the things you do, but the acknowledgment of the fact that except the Lord who gives the sound, even the beating of the drums is not enough to produce the music, is God. If not for the Lord on our side, what shall we say? I want us to thank him with acknowledgment, deeper acknowledgment now, and give him praise. And say, Father, you deserve the lifting up of our hands. You deserve my praise. You deserve all glory. You deserve all honor. You deserve all adoration. You deserve all thanksgiving. You deserve all praise. We thank you. We bless your holy name. I honor you, Lord. I give you praise. I return praises to you. I return glory to you. I return honor to you. We return adoration to you, Lord. We give you praise. Let's thank him. Let's bless him. He's the one who answers our prayers. He's the one who answers our prayers. He's the one who answers our prayers. If not for the Lord on our side, what shall we say? Let's thank him. He's the one who answers our prayers. Let's give him praise. Let's give him praise. We bless you, Lord. We thank you. Oh, blessed be your holy name. Blessed be your holy name. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying.
Amen.
Now, I, I shared with our people, like Nation Ikeja yesterday and like Nation Lekki yesterday. A word that has been burning in my heart since Friday night at the International Ministers Conference. For some reason, after the, you know, the whole honor night As I went back to rest, God impressed this word in my spirit. And let me say this to you, you see, there's so much to learn from those practices, all right, than just teachings. Thank God for the power of teachings, but one of the most effective way to learn is from demonstrations, the things that your Observe, the things that makes us who we are is more than human effort and ability. There is a point where you understand scriptural principle that you break into graces that your generation cannot explain. Let me tell you this, it is beyond hard work. It is beyond hard work. There is the place of graces being unleashed upon that the generation cannot explain. And those are the things I want you to learn. Don't learn from me in a market square. Learn away from the noise. You've got to understand that, that many of the things we're doing— I have seen something. I have seen something. And you know, most times these are not things you just open your mouth and say no. You speak wisdom amongst them that are mature. Another language, amongst them that are learned. Well, people want to know, tell us, but can they handle it? So God began to place this word in my spirit, and I'm going to speak from there, which I believe that As much as I've shared this word in some few places, I'm going to say a few other things today. I believe it is the word for us for this season.
Amen.
Genesis chapter number 45. Genesis 45, and we're going to start the reading from— all right, Genesis 45. Let's start the reading from verse 24. So let me give a background to this story. The brother of Joseph had sold him into slavery. He's been sold, he's gone through hell, he's gone to prison, suffered so many things. And now God had lifted Joseph to the position of a prime minister in Egypt. When his brothers came because there was scarcity where they were. When they came to Egypt, all right, Joseph, he could identify them, he recognized them, but they could not recognize Joseph. You see, it is the one whose life change that his physique changes. You are going to step into places that they will not be able to reconcile what you are now with what you've always been, because you would have moved miles ahead. I didn't hear amen to that. You would have gone far bigger and better. So Joseph inquired if his father Jacob was still alive, and they said yes. And he unveiled to them, I am Joseph that you sold. So this was the point where Joseph said said, go bring my father. Now look at verse 24, says, so he sent his brethren away, and they departed. And he said unto them, see that you fall not out by the way. And they went up out of Egypt and came to the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father, and told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive. And he is the governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, and he believed them not. Have you— please look up, everybody. Have you seen testimonies that look like a dream? I'm asking you, the kind of news you'll be called I'm told now that you will say is not true. And I want to say this: miracles are real. Please pay attention. Miracles happen vetoing human understanding, but God wants us to experience miracles But he doesn't want us to live by miracles. He wants us to live by principles. There are very few instances in scriptures that people were not expecting, yet the sovereign will of God vetoed their heart. Ideally, it is the expectations of the righteous that will not be cut short. God wants us to expect interventions. He wants us to expect his intervention. He wants us to expect his involvement. He wants us to expect his hands, his ability to turn our lives around. Can I give you the next 1 minute to say, Lord, as I step into this new season, I expect supernatural turnaround? I expect miracles. I expect testimonies. I expect unbelievable happenings. Is that the way you say it? I want us to say it like our lives depend on it. I expect it. I expect it. I expect miracles. I expect shift on all sides. Now register your expectations. Register your expectations. Register your expectations. Register and say loud enough. Don't joke with it. Don't joke with it. I'm expecting miracles. I'm expecting testimonies. I'm expecting breakthroughs. I'm expecting it. Oh, Reko Sinte Ogoche. Sinte Ogoche. Oh yes, I expect it, I expect it, I expect it. In Jesus' name we pray. Now let me say this to you: beyond your expectation, in this new month, God will surprise you. I didn't hear amen to that. You will enjoy favor. And when they told Jacob that Joseph was still alive, his heart fainted. He couldn't believe it. Joseph, Joseph. Look at verse 27. And they told him the words of Joseph which he has said to them. Now he still didn't believe, but Bible says when he saw the wagon which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob, their father, revived. Oh God, suddenly we didn't know that while Jacob was doing other things, while he was busy attending to things. From the day that Joseph was taken from him, something died in his heart. Would you know there are people who are still busy doing things? They are still busy. You see them and it's like they are still doing the things they should do, but from the day they had a loss, from the day disappointment in him from the day something didn't work out, something had died. When he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob revived. And, and that's where I'm going tonight, that what had died within you because you have not seen a testimony for a long time is going to be revived this this season. It's going to be revived in this season. You know, I, I sense like I should allow you cry to God. What is that one thing that has been stolen? You know, the Bible says that when God turned away the captivity of Zion, we're like them that dream. See, there was our mouth filled with laughter, our tongue with singing. Can Can I give you a moment? And see, listen, this is what you're going to do. You are not just going to pray. I want you to picture, picture, picture the testimony and get into the emotions of it. You don't understand what I'm saying? Get up on your feet wherever you are. Picture, just picture, picture the testimony. You see, believers have not learned to engage their entire system in the place of prayer. Picture it and picture the emotions of that testimony and begin to confess it. Picture it in your heart. Picture the way you will dance. Picture the way you laugh if this one thing can happen, that your spirit is revived and quickened. Oh, glory to God! Picture it in your spirit. Picture it. Picture it. I need you to be very, very attentive to this season. The moment Jacob saw the wagons which Joseph had sent, his spirit revived. His spirit was quickened. His spirit was quickened. Something arose within him. Something was stirred up. Something was stirred up. The words of the Lord that has been spoken and locked up in his spirit was revived again. Suddenly it was revived. It was revived. What God has said to Abraham, passed to Isaac, was rekindled within him. Oh, glory, glory, glory, glory! Oh yes! There's a revival in your spirit. There's a revival in your spirit. There's a revival in your spirit. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. You know, a man can start life with hope about what God is set to do till the tribulations of life kills it. You know, when Jesus was walking on the sea to his disciples in the middle of the night, it was Peter. They saw him. The Bible said they were afraid. Then he said, 'It is I, be not afraid.' What did Peter say? 'Lord, if it is you, tell me to come.' What did Jesus say? He said, 'Come.' He wants you to experience miracles. Jesus is never going to tell you, 'You are tempting me.' He said, 'Come.' And the moment Peter stepped on the water, he floated. He floated. That which was expected to drown you, you will walk on it. Amen. That which they have concluded that as you begin to do this, you will drown to their amazement, you will walk on it. But the Bible said Peter, observing the contrary wind, all of a sudden began to sink. You know, there are times that God has spoken until contrary winds begin to blow, and what God said looks like it is dying on your inside. You believe the word when he said it, And it's like a season came and everything God said, you look for it, you can't find it.
You look for your faith, you can't find your faith.
You are looking for your ability to trust God again, to believe and run towards him and everything he said, and you're struggling to find him. The same way the spirit of Jacob revived within him, the same way something arose within Jacob that day when he saw the wagons that Joseph has sent. There are testimonies that will begin to happen in your season, this in your heart, in your life this season, that will rekindle what died in your heart. In the name of Jesus, there are testimonies that begin to happen that will reaffirm and rebirth everything that has been locked up, that seems to have died in that heart. If you have been sinking, you begin to float back.
In the name of Jesus, amen. In the name of Jesus.
Jesus.
Now go ahead, everyone. You will decree and declare: I refuse for the words that the Lord has spoken to me to die in my heart. Let there be a reviving in my spirit in the name of Jesus. I reaffirm every word I believed. I reaffirm what God says to me in the name of Jesus.
I lay hold on them again.
I lambano them.
I lay hold on them. I lay hold on them.
I lay hold on the words of the Lord in the name of Jesus. I lay hold on that word.
Oh yes, in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name we pray.
You know, there are situations that happen to men that tries to make God look like a liar. I come against those situations by the power and the authority in the name of Jesus, that every knee bows. Again, I insist that every knee bows. Again, I insist that every knee bows.
Amen.
You know, sometimes you start a year with so much hope, so much hope, and it looks like as the year keeps trying to go to get to an end, you, you look for the words and the excitement, the enthusiasm that you had at the beginning of the year, and it's like the spirit of Jacob had died within him. But there is something called the 11th our miracle, that even when it's looking like everything is over— can I ask you a question? All that the Lord has said, is it still possible this year?
Yes, sir.
Our testimony is still possible this year. Jaw-dropping miracles, can they still happen this year?
Come on, believe God!
It is too early to shut your bowels of belief. It's too early. You can't Let something die in your spirit. It's too early. Praise God. God doesn't need eternity to do what is eternal. It doesn't. He said, I'm the Lord God of all flesh. Is there anything too difficult for me?
Is there anything?
That's the question. He looks around. He looks around. I've done, I've done strange things. Is it changing your life that will make God sweat?? Is he giving you a baby that will make God sweat? Is it God changing the medical report that will have to sweat to do something? The heavens and the earth will pass away, not even one of his words will go unfulfilled. Isaiah 55:10 says, as the rain and the snow will not return back to heaven, but it makes the earth bring forth and, and bud, that it gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater, he says, so shall my word word be that proceed out of my mouth, it shall not return back to me void. It shall prosper in the purpose for which it is sent. I speak that word to you. Everything dead or dying, come back to life.
Amen.
Everything dead or dying, come back to life.
Amen.
Everything dead or dying, name, come back to life. That situation that keeps making God look like a liar, it bows now in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
Now look at this. If you read this Genesis 45:27, one of the questions you should have is, why is this man still being referred to as Jacob? In Genesis 32, his name has been changed to Israel. There are times that the situation has changed, but the person's experience has not caught up with it. But the moment this testimony happened, and the Bible said I saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry the spirits— oh my— of Jacob their father revived. In verse 28, and it says, and Israel said It is enough.
From the moment the word came, from the moment there was a reviving in the spirit, that which God said that was locked up in him spoke up.
Nothing really changes about a person's physique when their heaven is opened. You are the one who sees them differently.
Everything that will come has been locked up Meaning that Israel was locked up, but situation buried Israel.
That was still Jacob that was speaking. The moment he heard it, and Israel said— that is, it was Jacob who didn't believe, but when he saw it and there was a quickening in his spirit, the voice who spoke was Israel. And Israel said, it is enough, I will now go and see my son. We're going to begin to see subsequently how that Israel really rose. He got to Egypt, laid hands on Pharaoh, spoke the blessings of Abraham over Pharaoh. That thing didn't die. Affliction is trying to cover it. The words God said didn't die. Who God called you didn't die. What God says about you did not die. What he changed about your life is still changed.
There are times affliction tries to cover everything up. How you look at a man, you don't even know what to think about yourself anymore. And Israel now said, it is enough.
The version of you that God called out is speaking in this season. I didn't hear amen to that. The version of you that God called out is speaking in this season.
Amen.
My God, when I— when I—
when I—
have you seen people that they were giving up already? This man is done, he's getting tired of ministry, he wants to stop, he wants to quit, he wants to get out, he wants to just trash everything everything God ever said till he turned around and just one miracle, and it occurred to him that God is still here. Can I tell someone, even as we cross over to the month of October, that God is still here? Israel is still in there. Jacob might be tired, but Israel is still in there. Can I give you some some 5 minutes, some 5 minutes, some 5. I want you to help me raise this chant of Moses Akor that he did, um, with us at H&C. We want to raise that chant for the next 5 minutes. And you see, all these minutes, they are not enough for us to pray through. They are not enough. But I want us to take that so you can vent and cry to God by yourself, and you can receive words from him yourself. But there are prayers that you need time to pray. Every potentials locked up within me, this is my month where they sprout out.
This is the month that they break forth. This is the month that they show forth every locked word. They know they are still in there, and it looks like situations of life is burying them. It looks like situation of life is covering them. It looks like something is covering the words.
I want them to sprout forth. Let them break forth. I now begin to call forth prophecies.
Do you have prophecy notes? Do you have memories of prophecies? What God has said about you? Begin to call them forth. Begin to call them forth. Begin to call them forth. Begin to call them forth.
Raise that sound for the next 5 minutes. Raise that sound. Rito siklem de ruste credi. Rino sikam.
Sing it like you love him.
Holy.
Sing it out.
This guy, gosh.
This guy, God, I never see your time.
This guy, God, bless I want you to keep singing. Come on, keep singing it.
Say, this is my God.
Never, never.
I never see your time go. I never, never.
This is my God.
Blessed, blessed be your holy name.
Now let your words catch up with your heart right now. Lift your hands. Let your words catch up with your heart. Let that connection—
yeah, we're going deeper. Come on.
Now let the waves of the Lord carry you. One more time.
This guy, this guy, never will, I never see your side, never will, never will. Blessed be your holy name.
Now all eyes closed, keep your eyes on him and just, just love him. Just worship in that silence a little bit.
Woo! Woo!
I never see you again.
Keep your eyes on him.
Woo!
Oh yeah, it's rising from deep within your heart.
Can you feel his love crashing over? Can you feel the embrace of Jesus the with you.
Can you feel?
Can you hear his voice in your heart? He's calling you, calling you, calling you. Lift your hands and love the Lord. He's loving you right now.
This is the month that they built fort. This is the month
