Good to see you this evening, and how is it going? Amen. I want us to bless God from the very depth of our heart with everything that we have, you know, with so much joy, with excitement. I want us to give God praise and just honor him. Let's pour incense before him and give him all the honor, give him all the worship. Worship, give him all the praise, all that is due to him. The Bible calls it a reasonable service. It is only reasonable for us to bless him, the one who gave everything for us. It is only reasonable. So let's give him praise. Father, we thank you because you deserve it. You deserve all honor, you deserve all worship, you deserve all adoration, and we are only grateful We are appreciative. We appreciate you, Lord, and we thank you. Thank you for what you alone are doing. Thank you for your mighty hand. Very, very strong. And I perceive that this is the mercy of God giving this direction, and it also means that God has decided, all right, on certain matters that he will show up by his mercy. Now let's turn our Bibles, and I want the media to please project the Bible, the book of 1 Samuel chapter number 2. 1 Samuel chapter number 2. 2. Can you project? All right, from verse 27. 1 Samuel 2, from verse 27. All right, I'd like us to look at this scripture. This is a very clear word from the Lord. Now, while I read this scripture, it will be on the screen. You can pay attention and look at it. And there came a man of God unto Eli and said to him, Thus says the Lord, did I plainly appear unto the house of your father when they were in Egypt, in Pharaoh's house? Verse 28. And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be priest, to be my priest, to offer upon my altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? And did I I give unto the house of your father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel. Verse 29: Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and my offering which I have commanded in my habitation, and you honor your sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chief of all the offerings of Israel, my people. Verse 30 now, quite scary. Wherefore the Lord God of Israel said, I said indeed that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever. But now the Lord says, far be it from me. Why? For them that honor me, I will honor, and them that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. Wow, wow, this is a very, very strong scripture. God was telling Eli— we sing that song, 'You are the Lord, you change not.' He said, 'I can change my mind.' I said, I've said before that you and your father's house will be priests before me forever. He said, but now I've changed my mind. He said, because they that honor me, I will honor. They that despise me, I will lightly esteem. That's a very, very strong scripture. Why are we reading this scripture? Today is day 3 of fasting. I want us to cry to God from the depth of our heart. If there's a way you can pray this prayer that all your entire being will know you are praying: My Father and my God, don't change your mind about me. Don't change your mind about me. I know there are many things you want to do, and I know you can do excellently well without me, but I'm pleading, don't do those things without me. See, I'd like for us to pray. Lift your voice wherever you are. Lift your voice wherever you are, the loudest you can, and cry to God. My Father, my God, don't move on without me. Don't change your mind without me. Help me. Go ahead, everyone. Lift your voice loud and clear. Lift your voice loud and clear. Lift your voice loud and clear. Don't change your mind. I know there are many things you can do without me, but please don't do them without me. Don't change your mind. The things you have decided to do with me, please don't move on to Plan B. Help me to become useful and usable. Help me to become useful and usable in your presence. Help me, Lord. Help me to align with your will. These are prayers of consecration. Now many people don't like to pray prayers like this, but like when we ask for prayers of God, give me. But these are the real prayers. Don't change your mind about me. Let me show you another dynamics to that prayer. When David went after Bathsheba and killed Uriah, God sent Nathan to him. And one of the very scary remarks of Nathan was that he asked asked him that when you were small in your own eyes, did I— sorry, Samuel was the one that asked Saul this question— that when you were small in your own eyes, did I not make you captain over my children? There's a way we pray it in Yoruba: Oluwa madeke njo ramilodu. Don't let my heart be lifted up in pride. Help me to have a contrite heart before you. These are prayers of consecration. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Say that amen loud and clear. Amen. Third prayer point for tonight. God was asking Eli in that 1 Samuel chapter number 2. He said, wherefore, why do you honor your children above me? That's a very serious question. Why do you honor your children above me? Have I not commanded the Israelites that to give you everything as touching offerings of fire? So wherefore do they kick at my offerings? Wherefore do they kick at my sacrifice? Sacrifice. I want us to cry to God. We're in a generation that knows little or nothing about honor to God. We fight everything. Help me to honor you, Lord. There's this song by Sumisola Igbebi, Aye mi bola fo, as my life gives you honor. Help me to live daily to honor you. Help me to live daily to please you. Please lift your voice loud and clear. One of the reasons for fasting: to live a more devoted life, to live a more consecrated life, to live a life that is sold out to service. Please project Psalms chapter number 89. Psalms chapter number 89 from verse 20. How many of us are still willing to pray? Are you tired? We're going to pray tonight. Psalms 89:20. 20. So he says, I have found David. Can you project it please? I found David my servant, with my holy oil have I anointed him, with whom my hand shall be established. My arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exert upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. Father, search me out, anoint me Please see, listen, listen, I told our pastors, I said, see, many people have gone to the point where they now feel guilty when they ask God to anoint them. That is, you know, you've heard many things from any corner, like, uh, the anointing should be a byproduct. As much as I be, I don't argue, no problem, but there is nothing wrong scripturally and semantically wrong with a believer asking for infilling of the anointing, because the anointing is the tool for the job. I don't want to be a blunt axe. Anoint me with fresh oil. Let me carry a new dimension of the anointing. Oh yes, let me carry a new dimension of the anointing. Anoint me with fresh oil. Go ahead! I've told you many funny stories, but this is years back. Um, I'm more mature now, but what I want to share with you did happen. I remember I was— I would lock myself up and cry and cry and cry. Oh Lord, I know Anoint me. And I, me, when I pray those prayers, I want to go and test it. I will go to campus, I want to test it. I like feedbacks. I'll go and check. I say, God, anoint me with fire, anoint me with fire. I'll go out. If anybody shakes me and nothing happened to them, I'll go back home and cry again. Oh Lord, you have not anointed me enough. I mean, that may sound childish. But that was the way I was praying then, till the day finally I met one of my friends who happened to be a pastor also. And I was just strolling to go get some things on the street, and as we hugged, my friend was pushed back by the anointing. Ah, and he said, ah, did you put transformer in your body? I said, correct, correct, we are getting there. I've seen testimonies of people come to stand where I was standing standing, and sicknesses disappear. I've seen cancers disappear. I've seen the dead raised back to life. I've seen somebody who was blind, who was deaf, who was dumb— I'm sorry, not blind, this one was not blind, there's another one blind. I've seen deaf, dumb, and mentally retarded released from, relieved from those demons immediately. I've seen the one who was blind, who was deaf, who was dumb, who was mentally sick, healed also. Don't you want power? There's nothing God is doing with it in heaven. Therefore, for us to work here on earth, Acts 10:28, how God— is it? Yeah, how God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and what? With what? How God anointed who? With what? The Holy Ghost and power. Don't you want to be anointed? I said, don't you want to be anointed? Do you like people are dying of sickness and dying of all those things and dying of pain? Acts 10:38, how God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power. Look how the Bible said in the Acts of the Apostles, number 1, verse 8. Acts 1:8 says that you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you, then you shall be a witness both in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria, to the uttermost part of the earth. Lift your voice, let me pray. Say, I want power. I want power. I didn't hear it again. I want power. Say, I want power. I want power. Power to heal the sick. Power to heal this. Power to raise the dead. Power to set the captives free. I want power. Go ahead in a moment and cry for it. Say, Lord, anoint me, anoint me. Oh yes, fill me with power. I want power too. I want to be able to do exploit for the kingdom. I want to raise the dead. I want to heal the sick. I want you to save souls, save lives through me, save lives through me. I want power, I want power. Lift your voice loud and clear, lift your voice loud and clear. I want power. Give me this power. Give me this power. Power is power. Give me this power. Oh yes, Lord, give me this power. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. I remember I was at the hospital, OAU THC, the emergency ward. Somebody was sick, were there overnight. Then I, I saw a woman woman. Oh, several doctors and nurses gathered around her. She was in distress. She was rolling, she was crying. She couldn't lie down, she couldn't sit down, she couldn't stand up. She was in what I have seen as the height of pain, and yet she was not in labor. Ah, they were trying to give her some injections to calm her down. No, she couldn't take them. Somebody trying to hold that down. She was in distress. So I moved there and I said, I'm a pastor, do you mind? Just 30 seconds, just want to have contact with her. So I went there and I just touched her and I said, pain, you have to leave her now, let her go. And I left. In less than 20 minutes minute. I was downstairs, I was around them, their cafeteria or their waiting area, and I, I just observed that there was a woman beside me taking Fanta with straw. That's why I looked, and it was that same woman. Everything had calmed down, she could now come downstairs if you wanted to walk and take fresh air, and she was there at is. That's what power is for. It's not for personal aggrandizement, to be boasting. It is to set the captives free. Let me share another story with you. Somebody sent for me, a family, an old man, and said to me, said, somebody told us about you, that if you pray for cripple, they will come back, they'll be healed. Healed. You pray for the blind, they will see. I said, by the grace of God, God has been helping us. The man said he has been paralyzed. I can't remember now, that's 1985. He's been paralyzed, not been able to get up. They have to carry him on a chair every morning. And the man looked at me, you could see desire to be healed. And the man The man said to me that I want God to heal me, I don't want to die like this. Ah, so I laid hands on him, prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed. He was still there, paralyzed. So I cried to God. God said to me, son, every day when you have time, come around his house and just lay hands on him. So he was not healed instantly, but for every day I would go there, I would lay hands on on him, say, be healed. And I did that for months, for months. One day I went there and I met his daughter at the door. She was crying. The more I tried to question her, the more she broke out in tears. So I placed my two hands on my head and I said, ah, this man has died. I got inside, I saw the wife was crying. The moment she saw me, she broke out in tears. I look at the seat where the man had always sat down, the seat was empty. Ah, I said, God, this was not how we discussed it. Then when I sat down, nobody was giving me answer, and I saw the curtain open. Room, and somebody was trying to come into the sitting room. Lo and behold, it was the man standing on his two feet, walking down, smiling. Ah, so these tears was tears of joy! Glory to God! I didn't know when I went to meet him. And they said, what happened? And the man said, when the wife was going to brush touched his teeth, something just made him feel within him that I could get up. And he responded, and he got up. And that thing told him again, you can walk. And he carried the first leg, and he walked. The second leg, and he walked. The third leg, and he walked. For the first time since 1985. How do we explain? How do we explain Do you think God is happy when people are tied down in sicknesses, when they are tied down in pain? He is not happy. If there's anybody here under the sound of my voice who is tied down by any sickness, I command, lose them and let them go now. Amen. You will not live your life in sickness. But not just is God willing to heal you, he wants to give you the healing anointing. He wants you to be the one to go and set others free also. They brought a girl to my office who, according to them, ran mad. I said, release her. Yeah, that's why I said, release her. I went to meet her. Are you fine? What's your name? Are you aware you are free from today? Said, amen. You are free, can go go home. And they looked at me with shock. Is that all? That's all. He's free from that moment till date. Madness can't return, never. I decree over every contrary situation in anybody's life, I send them packing in the name of Jesus Christ. How many of us want God to anoint us? You can be a businessman, you can be a politician, you can be be a pastor. You can be— a lot can happen through the anointing. If you are where you are, where you can place your hands on your head— you're in the market, you can't, people think something is wrong— but your place, put your two hands on your head and say, Father, anoint me with fresh oil. Anoint me to heal the sick. Anoint me to raise the dead. Go ahead, please pray. Go ahead and please Please pray. Anoint me with fresh oil. Anoint me with fresh oil. I want to raise the dead. I want to heal the sick. Anoint me, Lord. Oh yes, please pray. Lift your voice loud and clear. Let everything within you cry out to God. Anoint me with fresh oil. Anoint me to heal the sick, to raise the dead. Anoint me, Lord. Anoint me, Lord, how God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power. Yes, anoint me too with the Holy Ghost and with power. Oh, anoint me with fresh oil. I want to raise the dead, I want to heal the sick in the name of Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. I remember a season in my life God told me, he said, son, Don't disturb yourself about those who have gone ahead of you. He said, stay with me in the place of prayer till I tell you it's time to move. So I stayed with him in the place of prayer. He told me to resign from my work, so I resigned. Every blessed day I carry my bag and I carry my journal and my Bible, stay with him in place of prayer and fasting. And we did that adventure for 2 years. Though staying with him in that location still took 7 years. And one day I was praying and God said to me, son, you have been praying. I'm not talking about the prayer you pray for 1 hour. I'm talking about prayer you pray from 8 in the morning till 6 in the evening for 2 years. So I was praying praying. And the Lord said to me, said, because that was not my house, was at Anofanejo, said, there's so much deposit of anointed anointing where you are praying. I tell them, they've suffered a few casualties. If anything ever happened to any child again, let them lay the child where you used to pray. The child will come back to life. I was ministering, I was preaching somewhere. When they were calling me, I was cutting their call, and then They sent a text, Pastor Susan, so child died. Ah, I had to excuse myself to reply, put the child where I used to pray. They put the child there. The child did not come back to life. Leave the room and lock the door and leave the child there. Less than 30 minutes, they heard the cry of the child. Already back to life. God is going to anoint you for signs and wonders. In your lifetime, you know what it means to raise the dead. You know what it means to raise somebody from wheelchair. In the name of Jesus, you will walk in the anointing. You know, when I tell you stories, this is a social media world. If there's any story I'm telling you, the people concerned are alive. The child concerned is alive. So it's not— I'm not telling you stories that are far-fetched. Let me share another one with you. This one, Femi Lazarus, there's this girl, Raffia. She was born lame. As at the time, all her mates, her colleagues were already walking. She couldn't walk. Her legs were getting tiny. The more she grew, the tinier the legs get. The more she grew, the slimmer the leg get. And every time I go to greet them, other children will come, ah, Pastor, come and hug me and all that. And there she was, always sitting, dangling her legs. She'll be stretching her arms and I have to go there and carry her even at her age. One day I cried to God, I held her. So I'm telling you the journey so that, you know, you don't feel I'm a Superman. I prayed for people and they were not healed, but consistency. So I held her, prayed for her, and cried and cried. I was crying so much my tears was even soaking her clothes. She was not healed. She didn't get up. It was like the more I put her down, the more the legs will fall like spaghetti. Forget it, she didn't get healed. And God told me, son, let's do it again. Come here every day, lay hands on her, command her to be healed. So I did that every day for close to 6 months. Every day I will go there, be healed in the name of Jesus, I speak life to this leg. Every day, no changes. Finally, one of those days I went there to greet other children, to greet the children as I came as usual. They will all come out, hey, Pastor! And for the first time before all of us, Ophelia got up on her feet and limped and walked and ran. We moved from the excitement of Pastor is around to the excitement of see what the Lord has done. If there's anything representing what has been crippled in your life I command them to come back to life now. Lift your hands wherever you are. Say, Father, anoint my hands for signs and wonders. Go ahead, cry to God, cry to God. Please pray, pray. It's a very important prayers. I want us to cry, cry to God. Oh yes, you have one more minute. Please cry to God. Please cry to God. Oh yes, Lord, I want to be useful. I want to be a vessel unto honor. I want to be a vessel unto honor. I want to be a vessel unto honor. Anoint me. I want to be a vessel unto honor. Anoint me, Lord, especially in Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Now, as I begin to tie this up, there's another dimension of the anointing or power that I want us to pray about. I want to show you a scripture because you need this anointing. Deuteronomy chapter number 8. Deuteronomy chapter number 8, verse 18. Deuteronomy chapter number 8, verse 18. But thou shalt— can you please project it? Deuteronomy chapter 8, verse 18. 13. Look at it. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto your fathers. Like I said, sometimes it is difficult for the church to stay in the balance. There's always the tendency for extreme. Many believers now believe that when you pray that God should open the door of wealth, you have been materialized. Realistic. I say money is vanity upon vanity. I've always told them poverty is vanity too. You choose your vanity. One can get jobs done in the kingdom. Jehovah will make you redone that because the wisdom of a poor man is not here. There are many things that needs to be done in the kingdom today, many things. Let me give you an example of one of my dreams. Look at the kind of thing that happened in us, that we will not even have to wait on the government. We by ourselves, we send relief materials. Oh yes, that can be done with wishful thinking. I know you love the kingdom of God so much and you want to be a kingdom financier. Many of you are even— you know that you are called to finance the gospel, but you are still broke. There is nothing. What can you do yet? So it means you have a job, but there is no tool for the job. This year, 2024, I want to know what breakthrough means. To be able to do so much for the kingdom, for the sake of the kingdom, for the sake of the gospel. Empower me! You are the one that gives us power to get wealth. I want such power. I want to do so much for the kingdom. Lift your voice loud and clear and pray. Lift your voice loud and clear and pray. I want to do so much for the kingdom. I want to do so much for the kingdom. I want to be a kingdom mover. I want to be a kingdom mover. Oh Lord, help me. Empower me, Lord. Empower me. I want to walk in wealth. I want to be able to do so much for the kingdom. I want to be able to do so much for the kingdom. Oh yes, Lord, I don't want to— the wisdom of a poor man is not heard. I want to do so much for the kingdom. I want to move the kingdom. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. We're having a project recently. I'm going to share this testimony. Maybe God is going to lay it in somebody's heart too. One person, just one person, walk up to me and say, Apostle, what kind of chair do you want? I said, this kind of chair. I mean, quite expensive. How many pieces? I said, 2,500 for a new venue. Say, consider it done. That is off prayer request, and this is not a matter of 20 million. Remember when we had our project in Ibadan? Oh, we needed resources. Somebody got just— they go and source it. Somebody called me from outside the country. They are— Apostle Lazarus. I say yes, I saw your project. How much will complete all the project? I'm not— you want to begin to ask questions like this? Now how much do you need for buses? Let's evangelize and eat the street. How much? You see, let me tell you, people who are givers, they are not the ones that fight issue of tithe and first fruit. It is people— the real givers don't make noise. So how many of you want to start asking questions like this? Now, how many buses will you need for the new venue? How many buses? Say, will you start with 10? Let's see how we can go with 10. Ah, I've taken prayer point. But none of you start giving buses and giving hectares of land land and give him properties because God will bless you with so much. Don't let the devil deceive you. And that's why you must see beyond the smoke screen. Islam is well financed. The only institution that they fight giving is in the church. I showed you that the country gave $1 trillion, $1 trillion, not for infrastructure development development for global Islamization. $1 trillion. Our strategy must go beyond shouting. There are— and listen, money is neutral, is a neutral commodity. It only takes the posture of the person carrying it. Aha, that money is to make— it depends on the person wielding it. God is going to anoint you to have much more. They didn't say the amen well. God is going to put resources in your hands. Amen. I say again, God will put resources in your hands. Amen. You will be able to do big things effortlessly. Amen. You'll be able to do big things effortlessly. Amen. You'll be able to move the kingdom forward like never before. Amen. Oh, I remember hearing— let me quote it— a man of God share testimony. He heard the news news that a mosque was going to buy a church venue. He had the news. Ah, so not a branch of their church. And he sent somebody there to investigate how much will the venue cost, and they paid upfront, paid everything cash, and collected it back and said so that the name of the Lord will not be blasphemed. That is the purpose of abundance. That's the purpose of abundance. That's why I say, Apostle Femi Lazarus, God has blessed you.
