Please, good morning everybody. Please let's be seated. Oh sorry, we're in the afternoon. Well, you know, you're cold here, can't tell the difference. Wow, good afternoon. You know, if there's flood, do you guys experience flood here? I want to teach you something about the spirit. If there's flood right now, and a very mighty moving flood, kind of flood that carries cars, somebody now goes outside to put maybe a chair to block the flood. The current of the flood is more than the protocol of that chair. The Holy Ghost is a mighty moving force. I don't need any conditioning for him to move. So relax as kings. Amen. Glory to God. He's here. You don't need feelings. True? I think they said I sing on B major or something. B, yes, on B. Okay, thank you. Lift your hands where you're seated and just give Jesus praise from the depth of your heart. And I want you to voice out— make it full— voice out this praise in your heart. Give him worship. Oh, blessed be Holy name. Amen. All right, just a quick one. Let me start from where I stopped yesterday. I'm going to make it more brief this morning or this afternoon. When next I have to be here, we're going to take testimonies from this meeting. John chapter number 6, please. Um, we read that yesterday and we're just gonna go to verse 63. John 6:63. If you are there, say amen. Can we read this together? 1, 2, 3, go. It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life. I might have to read this from different translation because sometimes King James can be so polite. Are you still there? Um, let me read Good News Translation. Says, what gives life is God's Spirit. Human power is of no use at all. The words I've spoken to you brings— I'm sorry, bring God's life-giving spirit. That's good news. I'll show you God's Word translation. Says life is spiritual. Your physical existence doesn't contribute to that life. The words that I've spoken to you are spiritual. They are life. I'm going to read more translation. Let me read Message translation. The media precisely— do you have Message there? You don't have? Okay, let me read from here. Okay, the spirit can make life. Sheer muscle and willpower doesn't make anything happen. Every word I have spoken to you is a spirit word, and so it is life-making. Please, I want us to be very, very attentive. Because the protocol that God has ordained as the manual for our existence is the Word. When a believer despises that, they will live with the manual of men. Once you live with the manual of men, you see, you struggle. And this— look, please look up, let me explain this. If a person has a small mind, no punishment can be enough. What happened to him? He started eating with pigs, true? He became stranded. There are people that that level of eating with pigs and being stranded is what they call blessing. Their mind is that small. So even what ought to be a punishment that you flog them back home, They are grateful for it. Do you understand? What can you do to help them? Nothing. One time I was listening to Reverend Dr. Oma Opai, and as he was preaching, he was crying. And he said, if you know what God has ordained for you compared to where you are now, you will cry every day. There are people who don't— like, we've seen it all. We are used to dysfunctionality. We are used to the hardship of living outside His presence. Like, like we are good. Do you understand what I'm saying? So to try to introduce such people to such life in Christ is like a waste of your time. Particularly those who feel— I'm unapologetic about that— those who feel that being outside your immediate country is being— is having the world. You lie. Do you understand what I'm saying? It's not true. I want us to pay attention. That life, when God was going to introduce it to Adam, what did he do? He released his breath and it will amaze you that when Job said that there is a spirit in man, the inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding. The word that also translates inspiration or inspired word is ha, breath. What that means is if I have an inspiration from God about something, I have the life force for it. Let me give you an instance. Let's assume— what's your name? Deborah. Deborah what? Ado? Ah, Ado. You Nigerian? No, you are not. What's your name? No, no, don't give me that. What's your name? Tayo. There is a spirit in man. The inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding. It means when God wants to release life in an aspect of your life, he inspires you. He releases that breath into your mind. He helps you to see. Do you understand that? He shows you things. He begins to paint pictures in your spirit. You know, it is that thing that takes you away from competition. Because everywhere there's competition, there's anxiety. And every time you compete You reduce yourself to the level of the one you are competing with. Because God, God is more. It is not this or that. It can be something entirely different. So when you have access to hear from God, for God to, to release his breath into your spirit, to ventilate your mind about what he wants you— do you understand what I'm saying here? You have life in that area. You have life. When God speaks to a situation, there will be life there. It is only on earth that we have living or non-living thing. Whenever God, who is source of life, stands anywhere, everything lives. I remember there was a time I was preaching, I can't remember whether South Africa or where, and I just got an inspiration. Surprise your wife. Wow! So while I was, I just quickly pressed my phone and said, someone get me so, so, so, so, get me flowers and take it to my wife. Wow! It's not every time it's inspiration about money. He can give me inspiration about how to put smile on somebody's face. I would have loved to share a story, but because this has been livestreamed— listen guys, one of the biggest blessings you can have in your life is that your channels are open to keep on hearing God. And I want to beg you, by the mercies of God, make sure there is nothing any human being can be to you that can replace God. It doesn't matter how good they are. The best of men is still a man. Do you understand that? Oh, I thank God for— oh, this person— oh, ga! Hold on to God. And I'm going somewhere with this. So, hm, when He wants to turn desert into a fruitful field, He releases what? Because it is clear. When that life of God is at work in your mind, one of the things it does, it allows you to recognize. Let me pray a prayer for you, but before I pray it, let me show you something. One time, Abraham was close to his death. He needed his assistant to help Isaac get a wife. Have you read that in your Bible? That guy was his servant. What prayer did that guy pray? Let the God of Abraham please go ahead of me, o. When time came for Jacob to get a wife, did he pray to the God of Abraham? He said, I have 7 years to give. A servant understood what was in the house better than the son. And because the servant prayed, God went ahead of him and brought Rebecca on a platter of gold. It is your costly assumption that you must work for everything. Grace brings. Oh, the guy that prayed was not a Nigerian because some of you even try to stigmatize prayer that we pray about everything. Really, you don't pray about everything because you are, you are smart now. Wow, wow. So all you have to do is just to to manifest it. Say, I speak to the universe. The devil just say, eh? And call to say, you hear what she said? He shocked. He say, it shocked me. You see, those of you Christians that once somebody displeases you, you don't hesitate to just block them. You so pride yourself in your ability to block. Your WhatsApp is like a prison yard. If they post a status you don't like, block away. Hi there, I saw you on this WhatsApp group, block. Hi, what's your name? Block. Eh! The prayers some of you are praying for is in your block list. It's true. Is in your what? One of the biggest miracles that happened in my life happened on a Sunday afternoon. I came back from church tired. Sometimes the people— not sometimes, even if I just say, let me visit you, the people waiting to see me are more than this, everybody here. So I get really exhausted. And I came back tired and I feel I deserve to rest. And God said, don't sleep. He said, somebody will call you, give the person what he needs. I said, okay. So I sat down on the bed and I was just waiting. And I called my wife and I said, God said somebody's going to call and I think the person might be in need. And, um, So what I have in the account is gone. Wherever the person is, when the person calls, I'm sowing it as a seed. She said, all right. So few minutes after that, my phone began to ring, and the funny person that wants to call that I've zeroed my account for now called me on WhatsApp. And I don't like that, except you are not in the country. A Nigerian number called me on WhatsApp on Sunday afternoon. I feel this is not fair. So I picked the call. I said, hello, how are you doing? Person was talking. I said, sir, I need to see you now. I said, don't worry, don't worry, relax. God spoke to me about you. I said, I asked the person, is it a matter of life and death? Say, yes, sir. I said, okay, come to so-and-so place, come and see me. Then the person came. If you see this person on a normal day, you think he's a boat driver. Doesn't look anything special. And said, so, so, and so, and so, and so, I wanted to do so-and-so thing. God sent me specifically to look for you, sir, and bring this to you. The rest is history. You go somewhere, say, hey, hello, how you doing? Say, no, I don't shake guys. If we see this here, we'll bite you, eh. Are you following? There are things you just— you see, see, if we can't deal with you physically, we'll come to your dream. You wake up, your nose is gone. But I say this by the Spirit: be careful of the way you cut people. Anybody who can't manifest love cannot operate perpetually in discernment. The purpose of discernment is not to cut people off. That's not the purpose. Jesus knew that Judas was a thief, but he kept him in the fold. I'm not saying you go and bring people that will kill you. Ah, do you understand? Say, no, after Apostle taught today, I start working. They will kill you. And when you die, you die. That's not what I'm saying. But Abraham recognized, just knew, just knew. And that was how Isaac was born. Imagine that the people carrying the manifestation of that promise were just going to pass by. When God made Eve, did God say to Abraham, "This is Eve, her name is Eve, so she's a fine girl, see, look at her"? Did God say that? Pass. Some of you, your spouse has passed, has stayed, has stuck. You went to sit at the back today, right? I'll still come for you. Do you understand what I'm saying? Some of you, like, God, God, are there single guys here? Manifest yourself, raise your hand. We are working on it. It's federal government project. But sometimes that's how life happens. Kairos. You just make one move and there you are, exactly where life has been waiting. Just one move. I have so many dangerous stories about Kairos. So many. Stories that doesn't make human sense. Just give a simple instruction, boom, and that the fruit from that one instruction for another 10 years you are still on it. To be small requires more effort. That is, every provision of grace you consistently said no. It takes effort. For many of you, that life of God is saying, get out of your comfort zone. I'm trying to show you in practical terms. Am I speaking any Greek and Hebrew? Just simple things that we can see in the Bible. Imagine when those guys who had dreams in the prison with Joseph came to tell him and say, we had dream. And Joseph said, see, my life is already painful, will you get out here? Those guys may not pay him for interpreting their own dreams, but they are the ones that will put him before Pharaoh. Imagine that when they got out, Joseph now wrote a letter, ma come out, ma catch you. Do you understand? Imagine that Joseph was a Nigerian. He will write it there. May my God judge you. May— there are people who won't give you anything, but they can speak of you to those who will. If you learn to walk in peace, you make God's processes in your life faster. Because God can send people to you and they have to first try to forgive you. Maybe I'm in the wrong place. It's the truth. Sometimes the manifestation of your miracle is in picking that phone and send message. Thank you, sir. Thank you, ma. You've been a blessing to me. We are not saying those who don't have their flaws, but you, you are responding to a season. That's it. Some of the— I've seen life. There are times somebody, people, maybe somebody just comes to see me. And the person who come, simple car. Yeah, I just ask someone who is with me, do you know that person? Say no. That's so-so and so in this country. What? You now go and check on Google, say what? In the days of the manifestation of your destiny, say not, 'I'm a child.' If it comes for you early, take it early. If it comes for you in the middle part of your life, take it. If it's coming later, do what? Take it. Listen to this, guys. When God wants to— I showed you yesterday that life is the protocol that God designed to manage everything. If we understand the Bible— listen, listen, listen— and I'm not— and everything I'm teaching, by the special grace of God will manifest it. Listen, I'm not going to end my assignment with Mike. The protocol, ethical considerations in everything we do, our labs, our medical institutions, is in the Bible. He's the first scientist before they start learning science. You just read, and God made man in his own image. Until you start looking at the complexity of man, until you have to sit down with a cadaver. Let's leave cadaver. And you start wondering, is this— do you understand what I'm saying here? Listen guys, it takes people who are spiritually funny to say there's no God. Some of the biggest scientists that have walked the face of the earth acknowledge that there is a force. That the trees you are seeing there, the beautiful rivers around, the mountains, how can you tell me they are product of Big Bang? When was the last time a bomb produced something beautiful? There are suggestions devil put in people's mind and he's shocked that they believed. He's shocked. Ah, and I'm saying this, that Many of us, even in what we call our best state, we are still prodigal sons who ran away from the father. Do you notice that when the prodigal son came back, despite taking half, he didn't make the father less? What he took is the asset. What the father is, is the asset. There are many of us like that, that even in what you are calling your best state, God is shocked. That is that it now? That's why I said I was in primary school with my cousins. When Peter had toiled through the night and didn't catch anything, what did Jesus say? Launch your net to the right. And what happened? He caught fishes. They were too great, so he had to call on that boat. Come help me. Okay, what was the secret? To an average man, the new strategy now is the right, is the right. That's the new route. That's how it is working for people. No, the strategy is not the right because he had tried both the right and the left. The strategy is his word. Fishes will move in the direction he calls. You can't copy it. Hear him. Because one can be rejoicing about the right and yours is the left. I didn't understand what was going on. For a long time, I've never had reasons to go to the hospital. I work so hard. In fact, when I go on a trip, those who go with me on that trip break down except me. Maybe David too is very strong because who just go with me, just say, 'This one will have to live in so-and-so city.' One time I became so sick. I'm not stranded. I am not confused. Say it again: I'm not confused. I'm not limited. Have you seen people who are confused? They start getting every wrong advice, every wrong thing. Ah, so this one, that's what is working out. Oh wow, this is what I do now. Oh, ah, this one, so this one, if you go through this method, this one will help you change. What? Hear God! That's the secret. Stay in the place of prayer. Stay in the place of prayer. Stay in the place of worship. Stay in the place of the word. Again, I'm asking you, what made Abraham different? How God anointed Femi Lazarus. With the Holy Ghost and with power. If God says, and he goes about doing good, if I'm supposed to go about, why should the door of nations not open? Is that not in my destiny to go about doing good? Hope you know that. You need visa to Nigeria. If you go and tear your green passport, what Trump is doing will be a little. You want to come to Nigeria, you pay $15,000. Do you understand what I'm saying? America, I'm joking. Femi Lazarus received mail today and I said, "It's play." I'm blessed. He didn't say may God give America of the dew of heaven and fatness of the earth. He's not giving it to a place, he's giving it to a blessing. It is that that place only experiences it because you came. It's you. That's the reason why Abraham could tell Lot, if you want the right, go. If you want the left, go. If you pick the right, I will go to the left. Because the one who understands the blessing knows the key is not a place, it's the person. Open Heavens is a person. You better have your root on the word. One day everything I'm saying will re-echo in people's ears. That man has been warning for years. Hope you saw that even when Joseph helped Egypt survive, the Bible said a king arose that knew not. It is your own people that won't forget your legacy. History forgets men depending on who writes it. Some of you have extraordinary abilities. Extraordinary calling upon your life, extraordinary graces to establish, to build structures, to build institutions for children, for women, for the less privileged, to build schools, to be in government, to advocate. Don't reduce that grace to 9 to 5. You must know what you are doing for the main time and don't call it your life. Do you understand what I'm saying? I think what I'm teaching is clear. One of the ways God gives you a sign that there's more is that you lose your peace. There's just— people can be celebrating you and say, you just know something is missing, man. It's called the spirit of discontentment. Something is just raging. Oh, there can be more. Something is missing. They celebrate and I know this is not it. No, you, you are not satisfied. That is not— that's not covetousness. It's an alarm in your spirit showing you you were made for more. Do you understand? I want to show you a text. If you function by that life of God, because most times We only understand that life in respect to speaking in tongues, in respect to— oh no, I mean, guys, I pray, and I think an average person who even knows our ministry does not even understand the prayer foundation and the quality of prayer that is going on. You can't preach calmly like this without prayer. You yourself will sleep off. Have you seen where the preacher is the one sleeping? Let me show you a text of the Bible because I'm going to have you pray into this. We're going to read Message translation, Matthew chapter number 11. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. We read verse 28, Matthew 11 from verse 28. Come on, say it again: The life of God is at work in me. Say it again: The life of God is at work in me. Nothing dies in my hands. Oh, the life of God is at work in me. Nothing dies in my hands. Oh, the life of God is at work in me. Everything I do work. Nothing dies in my hands. Everywhere I step becomes fruitful.
