DAY 22 || 30 DAYS FASTING AND PRAYER || 23RD JANUARY 2025

The video records a live prayer gathering led by Apostle Femi Lazarus and co‑facilitators (Speakers A, B, C). The session opens with repetitive worship chants praising God’s kingdom, power and glory, followed by a communal call to thank and remember the Lord. The leaders guide the congregation through a series of "remember‑me" prayers anchored in Scripture (Psalm 106, Psalm 20, Nehemiah 13, Esther 6, 2 Samuel 9), illustrating biblical examples of divine remembrance (Mordecai, Hezekiah, David, Mephibosheth). They stress that remembrance prayer is a lifestyle, not a one‑time request, and link it to the ongoing 30‑day fast. Throughout, participants echo prayers, sing, and express gratitude. The latter part of the video shifts to announcements: a call to register for the International School of Ministry 2025 (target 10,000 students, partnership with Yoruba Robot University), and a book‑distribution campaign for Femi Lazarus’s titles (goal 100 000 copies by Feb 2025, 1 million by end‑2025). The speakers repeatedly urge listeners to purchase the books, give first‑fruit offerings, and engage in the ministry’s online platforms. The overall tone is exuberant, persuasive, and devotional, aiming to mobilize the audience for spiritual discipline, communal prayer, and ministry participation.

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ. Can we hear me? If you can hear me, kindly, um, let me know in the comment section. Kindly let me know in the comment section. Good evening everybody, how has our day been and how is fasting going? The Lord is our strength in Jesus' name. All right, before we go ahead tonight Um, I would like to appreciate my spiritual father and mother, Apostle Femi Lazarus and Pastor Miracle Femi Lazarus, for this great privilege to minister to God's people. I do not take it for granted. Thank you so much, sir. Thank you so much, ma. Can we begin to bless the name of the Lord this evening? God is good, he's amazing. I want us to raise our voice and bless the name of the Lord, for he is faithful. He's kind, he's just, he's amazing. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for your love that you have extended towards us. Thank you for calling us your own. Thank you for being intentional about us. We bless your name, Jesus. We bless your name, Jesus. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. Can someone echo, thank you, Jesus? The Bible says that it is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord. I want us to do this with so much consciousness in us this evening. Our Father is loving, he is amazing, he is good, he is a good, good Father, and we are loved by him. Can we express our profound gratitude to him? Can we say, thank you, Jesus, for choosing me? Thank you for such a time as this. Thank you for the strength to fast and to Oh, we bless your name because it is a privilege. It is a privilege, and we do not take it for granted. We do not take it for granted. Thank you, Jesus. Ah, we reference you, we adore you, we magnify your holy name. I want us to understand that we are praying already. We are praying already.
I want us to express our love to the Father.
Can you sing a song from your heart to express your joy, your gratitude to the Father? He never left you for once. He never left you for once.
I want you to express your gratitude to the Father this evening.
Hebrews 13:15 says, therefore let us offer through Jesus a continuous sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.
Can you bless the name of the Lord this evening? Can you let him hear you? Can you— can your voice stand out this evening? Because our God is faithful. Ah, our atlas for joy, our atlas for joy. We bless your name, Jesus. We magnify your name, Jesus. We extol you, we extol you, we extol you. Ah. Is anyone giving thanks to the Father this evening? For in Jesus' mighty name we have given thanks.
For in Jesus' mighty name we have given thanks. So for, um, like 2 days now, we've been— our emphasis has been Oh God, remember me. You know, when I was preparing, God led, um, the story of Mordecai, the story of Ezekiel, the, the story of, you know, so many men of God in the scripture in my heart.
I know how that they passionate, passionately prayed to the Lord to remember them.
And because of their sacrifices, because of their, you know, the things that they have done in the house of the Lord, because of, um, incense that they have burnt before the Lord, the Lord remained by them. And this evening we are going to be praying intentionally that God should remember us.
I want us to open our scripture to the book of Psalm 106.
We are going to read verse 4. You can be praying under your breath. Lobro skebeletos, tienta kapakosta, erapendes kofinataia, aropobo sheketekosa. Psalm 106, verse 4. 4. It says, remember me, Lord, when you show your favor to your people. Come near and rescue me. Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people. Let me praise you with those who are your heritage. We are God's heritage. We are God's heritage. And you know, we are God's elect. God has chosen us. And if God has chosen us, he want us to experience remembrance every beautiful things that he has orchestrated for us. So when we are praying a prayer of remembrance, it is, you know, we're trying to remember and trying to remind God some of the things that he has said concerning us. We are bringing him back to, to that stage where he told us certain things about our destiny, and we are trying to bring it to the remembrance of the Lord that you said this concerning my life, I'm not seeing this, I want you to hasten and answer my I want us to open our scripture again, um, to the book of Psalm 20, and I'm going to read— I'm going to be reading from verse 1 downward. Psalm 20, he said, in times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry. May the name of the Lord of Jacob keep you safe from harm. Then verse 2 says, may he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem.
Them.
My emphasis is on verse 3. He said, may he remember all your gifts and look favorably on your burnt offerings. You know, Apostle was saying yesterday that some of us, we have, we have labored on campus, we have prayed, we have— there are times that we have, we've decided to just consecrate ourselves to the Lord, you know. And you know, some of these that God promised us, we are not even seeing those things. It is a time for us to bring to the remembrance of God that, God, you said this concerning my life, you said this concerning my destiny. When we bring these things to the remembrance of God, then he will now begin to act accordingly. You know, there's a king in the scripture, um, Hezekiah. Um, the Lord sent Isaiah to him to go and tell him that, because he was terribly sick, and God told Isaiah to go and tell him that he's going to die. But you know what this king did? He rose from his bed and he went before the Lord, and he, he began, he began to pray and started reminding God of his sacrifice and how that he has consecrated his heart and served the Lord with all his heart. And because of this, the Lord sent Isaiah to him again to tell him that he will not die. He's going to add extra 15 years to his life. What are the things that the Lord has said?
What are the things— what are the sacrifices that you have made in the past for the Lord.
It is time to now begin to remind the Lord. Now I want us to begin to pray that God, for this sake, for this thing that I have done for you, for this thing that you have, you have enabled me, for the sacrifices I have paid in the past, for the obedience I have, I, I have paid in the past, I want you, Lord, to remember me in this season.
I want us to begin to pray that God, remember me, remember me, remember me. Lord, remember me, ah, Kabante, by your mercy you bring, ah, Kabasote, Lord, you remember, ah, you told me few years ago to stand in God for 2 hours every night. Remember me for my obedience. Oh, remember me, oh Lord. Remember me, oh Lord. Remember me, oh Lord. Remember me, oh Lord. Remember me, oh Lord. Look on me with your mercy and remember me. Eshavra dagabanosa, eskepretigigigabaratonde, embroskobo gobo gobo gobo shate, embroske ben dekonsiate, erradadadabo shadi dabagaye, erobo sutekebelete, ashatakabatikimikuatakabeletekosta, erobaboko bandiseliakabaye. For in Jesus' mighty name, we are still praying.
You know, I want us to open our scripture to Nehemiah 13. We're going to read from verse 14. Jeremiah— Nehemiah 13, verse 14. He says, remember this good deed, oh my God. I do not forget all I have faithfully done for the temple of my God and his places. You know, when Apostle was talking yesterday and was saying, um, that some parents that tie their children to covenants, has tied them to covenant of, um, God— as I'm sweeping this, this church, as I'm cleaning the house of the Lord, Lord, keep my child. Lord, protect my child. Lord, keep my child. And you know, we can see the same thing in the life of Hannah in the scripture. Hannah asked the for, for a child. And because, because of this, the Lord answered him. Because he— she actually told God that, God, if you can do this for me, I will give my child to you. My child will worship in your house. And we can see how that the Lord used Samuel, you know, for the children of Israel. I want us to pray that God will remember us for all the good deeds, all the good things that we have done, you know, because God actually recognizes a contrite heart, a broken heart. That's the kind of sacrifice God will never reject. So if some of the sacrifices that we have made in the past are from a pure and a contrite heart, there is no way you bring that, that thing into God's remembrance and he will not remember you. The Bible says that he's not—
he's not—
he is faithful and just to bring, you know, to bring to pass the things that he has said, and he's faithful to reward the labor of our love. I want us to pray this evening that the Lord will bring— he will bring to remembrance that all the seed that we have sown in the past, the sacrifice that we have made in the past, will come as a sweet-smelling savour before his presence, in the name of Jesus.
Remember me, Lord.
Remember my family. Remember Remember my father, remember my mother. Remember their years of labor. I believe that we are praying, Aye! we are praying this evening.
I want to believe that we are praying this evening.
Ayo pascom—
Ebeniza my opas comin' up on me now... Ebenezer?
Ebenezer?!
Ayayaya ebonisa mai o pascom.
Come.
For in Jesus' mighty name we are still praying. Now I want us to open our scripture to the book of Esther, Esther chapter 6. Esther chapter 6. I'm going to start the reading from verse 1. It says, that night the king had trouble sleeping, so he ordered an attendant to bring the book of the history of his his reign, so it could be read to him. In those records, he discovered an account of Mordecai. He discovered an account of how Mordecai had exposed the plot of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the eunuchs who guided the door to the king's private quarters. They had plotted to assassinate King Xerxes. What reward or recognition did we ever give for this? the king asked. His attendants replied, nothing has been done for him. Where is that in the outer court? the king inquired. As it happened, Haman had just arrived in the outer court of the palace to ask the king to impale Mordecai on the pole he had prepared. You know, you can read at your leisure. You know, this story story, it's so funny that the same man that plotted evil against Mordecai, um, was the one at the corridor of the king. And it was the one that the king asked that, what should we do? What should we do for Mordecai? I am sorry, he didn't even mention him. He said, what should we do for this man that has done this great thing? What should we do for this man that has done this great thing? And that's because Because of the selfishness of this man, he said, um, let the king robe this man with the— let him give him the nicest house in his kingdom. He mentioned beautiful things. But as God will have it, he did not know that I was actually preparing a good grant for this same person that I was planning evil against. You know, when the Lord is preparing to remember a man, no man, no No man can stop him. You know, God's system is from men to men. So when God was going to send a message to Hezekiah the king, he sent Isaiah. And when he was going to, you know, act— and when he was going to add additional years to the life of Hezekiah, he also sent men. So when the Lord wanted to remember Mordecai, he opened the remembrance of the king. He opened the remembrance of king.
It means that there are certain things that we have to come to as children of God that is in the hand of men.
And you know, it takes God to bring it to their remembrance for us to enter into that dimension. When God is ready to lift a man, nobody can stop him. Nobody can stop him. It will just inspire—
you will not just—
those men, they will not just know why their heart is drawn towards, towards the person they want to favor. Say, eh, my name, um, Mabelo's name is is just popping up in my heart.
I should do something for her.
Mabel's name is just popping in my heart that I should give her this. So that's how God does these things. And you know, Emma was there, he was happy because he thought that God was going to— the king was going to adorn him, not knowing that the king was going to adorn Mordecai. But you know what was so amazing about Mordecai in this story was that he was at the gate and he was brought to the palace. He was adorned, he was, he was robbed with the most beautiful linen, and he still wanted to return back to his doorpost. Many of us, when God lift us, bring us from that place, he opened the book of remembrance about us and bring us from that, that point A to point B, we forget that it is from the place of service that God lift us. It is from the place of service that God lifted us, and we know we, we begin to proud ourselves around. But we can see the humility in the life of Mordecai. Rejoice not over my enemies because God has given me victory. Aman thought he was going to like rejoice over Mordecai, but God proved him wrong. Ah, I want us to pray this evening, that for my sake and by your mercy, let me be remembered. Me and my household, let me be remembered for good.
For my sake, oh Lord. That book of remembrance over my household, over my life, over my siblings, over my parents, over everyone that are connected to me. The Bible says that when the Lord return the captivity of Zion, we are like them that dream. Now you will open a book of remembrance concerning my life. You will open a book of remembrance concerning my life. For my sake, oh Lord, you will not be quiet. For my sake, oh God, you will not be quiet until you bring to remembrance Until you bring to remembrance of people all that you have preserved for me in this season, in the name of Jesus.
For in Jesus' mighty name, we are still praying.
Ah, can somebody say, the Lord has remembered me, the Lord has remembered me, the Lord has remembered me. The Lord has remembered me. He has remembered me, he has remembered me. For in Jesus' mighty name, we are still praying.
I want us to open our scriptures to 2 Samuel chapter 9. I'm going to start the reading from verse 1. 2 Samuel chapter 9.
Hey, somebody say one day.
Ah! Shot.
It's not 2 days, it's not in a week. He said one day. Ah, because it was actually one day that the King Saul arose and said—
he could not sleep, he could not just sleep, but he just said, let's bring the book of remembrance, bring the book of remembrance. This verse also said one day.
Somebody say one day.
He said one day David asked, is anyone in Saul's family still alive, anyone to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan's sake. He summoned a man named Ziba, who had been one of Saul's servants. Are you Ziba? the king asked. Yes, sir, I am, Ziba replied. The king then asked him, is anyone still alive from Saul's family? If so, I want to show God's kindness to them. Ziba replied, 'Yes, one of Jonathan's sons is still alive. He is crippled in both feet.' 'Where is he?' the king asked. Ziba told him, 'At the home of Machir son of Ammiel.' David sent for him and brought him from Machir's house. His name was Mephibosheth. He was Jonathan's son and Saul's grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said, greetings, Mephibosheth. Mephibosheth replied, I am your servant. But David replied, don't be afraid. I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king's table. You know, when, when I read this story, I'm like, what kind of, what kind of remembrance is this? What kind of remembrance is this that brought a man, a man that is crippled, that maybe some of the things that he's even hearing about, about his grandfather is, ah, your grandfather tormented David, he tormented King David, and he was being careful. And that was why when David extended that arm of love to him, he came and was like, I'm your servant. But you know, David said, for the sake of your father Jonathan, I have come to show you kindness. How many of us here can— how many of us can— yeah, can they say, because of, uh, because of Tola, I'm going to show this person favor? Because of this my friend, I'm going to show this person favor? How many of us can boast of that? You know, it just brought me that consciousness that I cannot live my life ordinary. Ordinarily. I have to live every day of my life with so much intentionality because there is that seed, that seed that the Lord will bless me with, that seed that are going to come out of my loins. And I cannot decide to misbehave, I cannot decide to live ordinary life. I must live with so much intentionality in total reverence and awe of God. Let's continue with the reading. It says, verse 8 says, Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed, 'Who is your servant that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?' Then the king summoned Saul's servant Ziba and said, 'I have given your master's grandson everything that belongs to Saul and his family. You and your son and servants are to farm the land for him to produce food for your master's household. Bomefi Boshet, your master's grandson, will eat here at my table. You know, God can so bring remembrance upon a man that you don't even know where that thing is coming.
You are just lost. You are in total order. God, what have I done to deserve this? But because of the seed that your parents have sown in the past, the things that they have done in the past, I want us to begin to invoke, you You know what, let's begin to pray that the Lord will invoke the favor. Ah, he will begin to bring to remembrance the things that have gone in the past concerning our life and destiny. Maybe that our parents have done, or maybe our forefathers have done, our fathers of faith have done. I want us to pray that the Lord will bring into remembrance of men, and they will begin to reach out to us from nowhere, from nowhere. Ah, ka shati ka pa so telebe kosi atai. That you will inspire the heart of men for my sake. You will inspire the heart of men to favor me. Ah, shatta, et raté, et que menace, et stop pretty, et qui là-bas For in Jesus' mighty name, we are still praying.
You know, um, so many things that we are trusting God for, it just takes God to inspire the heart of men to, to come to our aid. It just— it— that's just a way of God remembering us. Some of the things that we have been struggling for, some of the things that we have been laboring for, it It takes God to just inspire the heart of men. And that's why that prayer, remember me, oh God, is not— it's not a prayer that you just pray once. It's supposed to be a lifestyle prayer that you continually pray, that you continually pray.
Remember me, oh God. Can we echo? Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. You know, there is a post of distress that you can, you can attend this evening, and you can be begin to flash back. You can begin to look back and begin to remember the things that the Lord has made you go through, and you have been able to survive by the virtue of obedience. And you can bring it before the Lord as a sweet-smelling savour. It was not easy, but you were able to pull through. It was not easy, but you were able to pull through. For in Jesus' mighty name we are speaking.
You know, the Holy Spirit is just bringing an illustration into my heart now. That, you know, imagine yourself as a child, like a pastor's, a pastor's, um, daughter or a pastor's son. And you know, you, you are in a, in a very serious moment of your life as a family. You didn't really have—
you just have little, little left for you to eat.
And you know, a family now come and God is now instructing you to give, give all that, all that you have, give it to this person. As a child, you witness all of those things, how that God instructed your parents to give out the last food in the house to, to people, to people that are hungry, to the person that came into your house.
And you're like, but Mommy, I'm hungry too now.
Daddy, I'm hungry. You know, God can look behind and he can look at all these things and remember and say, ah, there was a time our parent, there was a time our parents, they paid these sacrifices.
I instructed them to give out their last food. Remember me, oh God. All those promises that look dormant, we bring them as a memorial before the Lord this evening. We bring them as memorial before the Lord this evening. All the promises that are dormant, all the promises of the time past We bring them as memorial before the Lord. Remember me, oh God, remember me, oh God.
Yours may even be that God has assigned you to intercede for men of God, but there is nothing that is matching up in your life.
You know, God can cause the grace of God upon this man that he has assigned you to pray for. Can you ask the Lord to Ask him to remember you. Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. Remember me! Oh God, remember me! Oh God, remember me! Oh God, remember me! Oh God— ah shh! All the years that I have devoted unto you in waiting, giving myself, presenting myself unto you as a a living sacrifice. I am a marriageable head and it's looking like nothing is matching up.
Remember you.
Oh, remember me, oh God, remember me, remember me, that I will send help from Zion. Oh, and you will remember me from your sanctuary. You have been trusting God for the fruit of the womb for years. And the devil has implanted so many things in your heart, deceit in your heart, and say, oh, you, you can never give better. Can you bring yourself before the Lord this evening and say, God, remember me, remember me, oh God, remember me, oh God. You have been serving the Lord for years and it looks like your life is stagnant. Can you ask that the Lord remember you? When people look at you, they say nothing is matching, nothing is showing that this person is serving the Lord. Remember me, oh God! Remember me, oh God! Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. Remember me, oh God. You've been nursing sicknesses in your body for such a long time. Can you cry to the Lord the Healer? That the Lord will remember you. He will remember you. He will remember you.
We bless your name, Jesus.
Thank you, Jesus. We begin to bless the name of the Lord. Thank you, Jesus, because you have opened the book of remembrance concerning my life and destiny. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Because of me, you have opened the book of remembrance, ah, over my family, over my siblings, over my parents. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Ah, I am grateful. I am grateful. Carlos, Sunday. Can you bless the name of the Lord for the strength to pray this evening? Can you bless the name of the Lord for the strength to fast? Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus! Ah, thank you, Jesus!
We bless your name, we bless your name, we magnify you, we extol you.
Our heart lifts for joy in gratitude and in all, in total awe of you. We clap with sounds of joy with rejoicing in our heart. We bless you, we bless you. Our heart leaps for joy. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
You know, when we, when we pray and, you know, we have a witness and we sense a note of victory in our heart, what we do is we rejoice. I want us to rejoice this evening.
Thank you Jesus! Can we rejoice? Can we rejoice? Can we rejoice? Thank you Jesus for your good— You're kind; You're beautiful. Thank you Jesus! Oh thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! Can we rejoice?! Can we enjoy it!?
We will join us now to rejoice all.
Thank you Jesus!
Oluese oluse oloeshe!

More from Femi

Get ready for another session of Public School with Femi Lazarus this Sunday.
