Bless him.
He makes it so easy for younger generation to relate with him. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. Amen. Wow, what an evening we're about to have. Thank you, Lord Jesus. There's a song the choir raised. I think I wrote down the lyrics. I heard the host of heaven, something like that. Just a moment. Ah, that sound blessed me. I joined the host of heaven to adore you. That's it. You sang it. Please come, let's raise that song again. Can we lift our hands to heaven tonight and let's bless God from the depth of our hearts? What a sound that is.
Thank you, Lord Jesus.
I join the host of heaven to adore and worship your holy name. I join the host of heaven to adore and worship your Holy name. Okay, I worship you, I worship you. Worship your holy name!
Adore the Holy One who reigns over all creation. Hallelujah!
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Please sit for a moment. This is a prayer meeting, and, um, as a trained Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Many of you don't know that I pastored in Redeemed. So in a prayer meeting, Daddy Joe says pray. So I'm going to make sure that I'm only going to call this— I was supposed to be here yesterday, but I couldn't. And thank you, sir, for graciously permitting me.
Amen.
Hallelujah. I want to show us a text in the Bible. John chapter number 9. John chapter number 9, very interesting scripture, an interesting story. Look at it from verse 1. And afterwards, as Jesus walked down the street, he noticed a man blind from birth. Oh, eyes. And his disciples asked him, Teacher, who sinned? Who sinned? Sorry, caused this guy— can we read King James? King James, thank you. All right. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man or his parents? That he was born blind. Have you seen cases where about 4 people prayed the same prayer at the same time, then 3 had their miracles except one? They now start saying there must have been something wrong with the person's life. They said he must have sinned. And Jesus answered, neither had this man sinned nor his spirit, but that the works of God— another translation says that the glory of God should be made manifest in him. So he didn't sin, he didn't do anything. I'm trying to show you that there are kinds of reproach that will be in the person's life. People will keep arguing behind the person that is doing something wrong. You know, when you don't pray much and God answer your prayer, you feel you are doing something right, but what mercy provided, and say, ah, I, I did it like this and did it like that. This scripture, whoever asks that question This scripture was showing the person that it could have been you that will be born blind. Let me ask you a question. How many of us are looking forward towards 2026? By what strength have you concluded in your heart that you'll be alive? Ah, it's mercy. One time my wife started all this thing about eating healthy. You eat broccoli, you eat carrot, you take egg, cauliflower. I'm a Nigebuman. I'll look at the food, I want to cry. Who did I offend? So I was looking for a word for her, and one day I called her. I said, all these things we are eating like this so that we live long.
She said yes.
I said, I've seen where the short gym instructor build his packs every day.
He's messy.
Say thank you, Lord, for mercy. What did I say it is?
Mercy.
You see, particularly if we are people who want more, there is a tendency to forget to be grateful. Sometimes all that is ending our prayer is that God is saying, but you didn't thank me for yesterday. Now, when God God does something, don't just move on and when you want to thank him, say, Lord, I thank you for everything. But he did them one after the other. Lift your hands and say, thank you, Lord. Say, thank you, Lord, for your mercy. Say, thank you, Lord, for your mercy that has preserved me. Now listen Listen, if you pastor well enough, there are statements you can't see. This year I've had days that we finish a powerful meeting, outburst of the Spirit, thousands of people. We rejoice in victory. Following morning, 5 AM, Pastor, come down to so-and-so mortuary, she's dead. What do you do? As you are in the mortuary trying to see how to help family organize, this one say, ah, Pastor, rejoice with me, God just gave us bouncing twins, set of twins, two, a boy and a girl. Ah, ah, you switch emotion. But so you want to look at people. People have cried this year, some have rejoiced this year. And some have done the both. But by whose strength are we here? The mercy of God. And that's the first thing I want us to do tonight. See, from the depths of your heart, first put your needs aside and say, Lord, I acknowledge you are the one.
Thank you.
Can we do that in a moment? Sing your own song. Don't wait for anyone to motivate you. Sing your own song, dance your own dance, sing your own praise, lift your own voice. Oh, bless him! Oh, bless him! Oh, bless him! Give him praise, give him glory! Oh, he deserves the lifting up of our hands. What a great God we serve! What a great God we serve. What a great God we serve. What a great God we serve. What a great God we serve. What a great God we serve. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. You are the strength that upholds our lives. Ah, thank you, Lord Jesus. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus.
Give him praise.
Give him praise.
Give him worship.
Let everything within you magnify him. Thank you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Please sit down. I believe some of us here fly often. Sometimes I ask myself By what strength are we even preserved? Never you think you are so useful, that's why you are alive. It's the mercy of God. That, ah, some people are gonna say, we, the role we play in the scheme of God's operation, ah, people like us must be around. Oga, it's mercy. It's mercy. Look at the case of the woman. They caught that woman, the Pharisees, and they said, we caught her in the very act of adultery. And they pursued her and brought her to Jesus and say, we caught this woman, o, in the act of adultery, and according to the law, she should die. That was the day of her death. Have you seen where they sentence a prisoner to death? The person is no longer normal. Everything changes. Human being will lead the person like an animal to be killed. And that was what was happening to her. So they said, according to the law, she should die. What do you have to say? Hope you know that question in itself was mercy, that it was Jesus they brought her to. Was mercy speaking. Sometimes you keep arguing, some people are talking bad about you. How will those who should help you know? Sometimes God is giving you PR. You are arguing, and Jesus— the Bible said Jesus stooped as if to write something on the floor and said, anyone who has not sinned, stoner. And one by one, they begin to drop their stone. And you notice that the woman didn't leave because in her heart she knew she sinned. And by the time Jesus raised his head, all the accusers had gone. And Jesus asked a question, where are your accusers? Say, they are not here. Say, me too, I don't condemn you. Go and sin no more. Listen, the mercy of God is so rich in a sense that even if you have made mistakes that is costing you in an aspect of your life, Jesus paid. You cannot be more Catholic than the Pope. When God forgives you and you refuse to forgive yourself, it's pride. You feel you are too big to have made a mistake. And what the devil does is that he hangs around sense of condemnation and begin to afflict people. Do you know that maybe the reason why no man is asking you out is because you gave that guy a no? Is the hand of God so short that he doesn't have sons? Lift your hands where you sit down. Say, Lord, I accept the provision of mercy to cover every area of my life. I accept the provision of mercy to address every issue in my life, in the name of Jesus. Can you pray that prayer in one minute? I accept it, the provision of mercy to cover every aspect of my life.
I accept your mercy.
I accept it. Let your mercy speak. Let your mercy speak. Oh, let your mercy speak. Thank you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus' mighty In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Let me show you, while this year was starting, the instruction God gave to us was to pray for mercy. That's the instruction. Ask for mercy. We've been praying for past few days, 8 hours generally. No mercy, help me. Help me, help me. Anyone who is not too big to ask for help will get it. You know how life had beaten that guy, blind Bartimaeus. Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Let me show you a scripture, Romans 9. In the name of Jesus, If there's anyone here— I don't know why I'm sensing this— that the enemy is trying to threaten this family with miscarriages, from this moment I join my faith with the grace of God upon this house. Babies will now stay in your womb. Any issue that has to do with fibroid is removed out of the way in the name of Jesus. Look at it, Romans 9. If you're there, say amen. Let's jump to verse 11. Romans 9:11, can we read together? For the children being not yet born, neither having done good or evil— look at it— that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that what? Call it. Yes. 12, it was said unto her, the elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he said to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy and compassion. You know, you may come from a family where maybe you broke through first, or you were You are the only one who have. How did you do it? This mercy is not the kind of mercy you work for. If it is mercy, you can't earn it. It's accorded to you. He said the children, they've not done good or evil. So we keep trying to look for theology around why God love Jacob. The God who said Jacob, I love, said they didn't do anything. Why is mercy available for you? Why have you survived the sicknesses you have survived? Should have died. Even when the Bible says that he that breaks the edge, the serpent will strike, you've broken the edge sometimes and yet the serpent didn't strike. Is God contradicting his word? It's because even where there should be judgment, once he brings the card of mercy, he's still righteous. Say, Lord, thank you. Yorubas will say that eni toba dukbo ore ano. That is, the one who knows how to thank God for what he did yesterday will get something new. You see, let me show you a text. Thanksgiving is a master key. They were asking Daddy Joe during lockdown that, what, what do you pray about? What's the content of your prayer? He said 99% of time is thank you. And most times we don't, we are not, we don't like such answer because we feel it must be deeper. Thanksgiving is deep, particularly when it's coming from the depth of acknowledgment. Look at this scripture, Jeremiah 30:19. Jeremiah 30:19. Can we read this together loud and clear? 1, 2, 3, go! And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry. And I will multiply them, they shall not be few. I will also glorify them, they shall not be small. Years back, I decided to go fast, and this kind of fasting has no date. Lord, I won't come out till you give me answer. What's the secret of church fruit. One of the answers he gave me is joy. And this was the text back in— out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry. That is gladness, joy. He said when that happens, he himself will multiply them. They shall not be few, and he will glorify them. They shall not be what?
Small.
All right. Our church moved from less than 30 to over 1,200 in 2 weeks. Doesn't make human sense. Can you come and boast that it's church growth secret? Only rejoice. Do you understand what I'm saying here? You know, sometimes we come to God's presence, they say rejoice. Thank you, Lord. I'm grateful. What are you frowning for? Naturally, all this, our Pentecostal way of rejoicing—
woo, woo, woo!
Are you ambulance? They say rejoice now. One time I attended a church, and now called my people, I said, I'm not going to come back to this church because even the person leading praise that is saying rejoice is sad. So one time I have to go and meet him. Bro, is here house rent? Calm down, rejoice tonight.
You know, wait, you know why you are calm?
The one you know have attacked it. Come on, rejoice tonight! Hey, thank you, Lord Jesus! Thank you, Lord! We give you praise for your mercy! We give you praise for your mercy! We give you praise for your mercy! Hallelujah! You know, our biggest mistake is that we always suspend our praise for crossover service.
You can cross over any day.
Hallelujah!
Come on, rejoice one more time!
Glory!
Hallelujah! Now sit for a moment, let me show you something.
Don't worry, we're going somewhere. We're going to pray. Can I show you a text of the Bible? Joel chapter number 1, very interesting text. It scared me the day I saw it. Joel 1. If you're there, say amen.
Amen.
If you don't know where it is, start walking into Femi Lazarus, or Foundation Bible Class. Joel 1. Let's start the reading from— wow, let's start the reading from verse 8. Listen to every word there. Lament.— like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. That is a virgin that lose the husband of her youth. Said the meat offering and the drink offering is cut from the house of the Lord. The priests, the Lord's ministers, mourn. Look at the next verse. The field is wasted, the land mourneth. For the corn is wasted, the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. He said, be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen, howl, O ye vinedressers. Except for the wheat and for the barley, because the harvest of the field is perishable. You know, this looks like the case of Nigeria. Everybody's complaining, things are this, things are that. Look at it. He said the vine is dried up. The fig tree languished, the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree. Have you experienced this before? Yeah, yeah, you know, I've been in a situation where I was broke, no money in my account, no credit to even call my enemy. And then MTN used to give please call me. I've exhausted it. It didn't deliver. So everywhere you check, apple tree dry, palm tree dry, all the trees of the field dry. You call Elpa to share problem. Elpa is fair sharing problem. He said, look at it, all the trees of the field are withered. What's the next statement? Because Joy is withered away from the sons of men. When God says it is with joy, withdraw. It's not a joke. Anywhere you see the move of God strong is a place of joy. Some homes, the goodness of God is not sitting, it comes like a flash because there's no joy. Will you rejoice again tonight? Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. I put away my burden and my problem to thank you. You deserve all the praise. Come on, rejoice one more time. Thank you.
Thank you.
I bring someone a word of consolation. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but there is a God who delivered them from them all. You see, that thing that is every time you want to rejoice is showing that I'm still here. That thing, as you rejoice, you look for that mountain, you can't find it again. Are you feeling what I'm saying? Yeah, rejoice one more time. Have you, have you been in service before and the person you are owing now walks into the church? The person now walk to the pastor. But in the midst of it, we rejoice. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Say it again, thank you, Lord Jesus. Say it again, thank you, Lord Jesus. Say it again, thank you, Lord Jesus.
Say it again, thank you, Lord Jesus. We have reasons to rejoice. We have reasons to praise. We have reasons to shout. We have reasons to rejoice tonight. We have reasons to be grateful.
Thank you.
Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord. You know, as you rejoice, every tree that the Lord did not plant is falling off. Sit down, please. I was in a meeting in Lagos. A woman came to that meeting, um, Ikotun. There's a place called Governor Road in Ikotun, 2019. The woman came because she wanted to be prayed for. She had diabetes, then she had high blood pressure, then she was obese. So she had not shared the case. She sat down, and according to my custom, I teach first. And somehow she said she felt to ease herself, but I noticed while I was preaching, as he got up, her wrapper fell. I said, oh, she'll be fine. And she reached out later and said, Pastor, did you notice that my wrapper fell? I said, yes. Said when she got home, she noticed that on that seat she had lost 14 kg. So I didn't pray. I, I don't even have the nerve to start praying that, yeah, lose weight. So it's not me, it was the glory of God who came. And guess what? Diabetes was reversed, high blood pressure was reversed by just being in God's presence. We are implicated. Do you understand what I'm saying? By just being there. Let me share a story with you. It's one of the very painful stories I shared it few days ago in our meeting. Year 2011, 2011, I was still pastoring a church then, but we were preparing so hard to send one of our pastors forth who had labored with us. She was transferred to Sokoto. On Sunday morning, a more senior pastor just came and said, "Pastors, please gather yourselves. Deacons, please everybody, let's come together." So I said, "All right." Gathered everybody, went. I said, "I'm sorry to break the news to you, Pastor so-and-so and Femi Lazarus that we are planning Samford for is dead. So I couldn't believe it now. Just 3 days before then, she called me, we spoke, said she's dead. What happened? He said they were driving to Sokoto from Lagos and they got to Sokoto, say, but the tire of the car car removed. They parked and repaired the tire, and she sat down under a tree for them to repair the tire. And another car coming, the brake failed and ran her over, and she died on the spot. That's, that's one event in my life that scarred me. There's a story I can never forget. When they shared how she died, it didn't make sense. Go and read the lamentations of David about Saul. One of the problems David had with the way Saul died, he said, tell it not in Gath, proclaim it not on the street of Ashkelon, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised rejoice. He said Saul in his days was swifter than eagle, said, but he had died like one who was not anointed with oil. So it didn't make sense the way Saul died. So this one too didn't make sense. Talk about fasting, dry fasting, talk about vigils, talk about marathon prayer. We were doing. So how can somebody who is praying morning, afternoon, and night die like that? I have— I had questions because I needed to serve God with guarantee. What becomes of me? So we took the body. They took the body to our village, and we had to move and go to that village. So that was when I now saw the body. Then I still haven't cried until the firstborn of that family came out. And where they put the coffin on the table, said, all of you come, I want to show you something, and took us to the backyard. There were 3 graves there. He said, this This one is her senior. He died also at 39. This one also 39. Then her 39. That was the point I broke out in tears. Talk about praying against family pattern. We prayed. Have you ever gotten so sad that you feel God is come. Sorrow is in levels. Sorrow breaks people. One night I was in OU THC, OU Teaching Hospital, and I began to hear the cry of a woman. Ah, it's not like all the usual— well, there's no usual tears, but this was different. So I went there to see her, a woman in her 60s. She had labored to train her child to school. The guy had an accident on his way to see her and died, and that's the only child. What scripture do you have? Because we are so easy to tell people, God give, God takes. So when he mentioned that this is the third one, ah, oluwa, this is not adding up. So I had questions. I became so broken in pain that for months I kept texting her number even though she's gone, and I didn't get any answer from God. I was offended, I was angry. I was getting stylishly tired of this thing called Christianity till later God now spoke to me. He said, son, when you don't know the junction, the enemy is waiting. There is one prayer you can't pray. Amis, merci. That's how he taught me the prayer. Day of Mercy. I know we have it figured, but will we take mercy? Mercy not just for yourself. What about your children? What about your siblings? Sometimes if the devil sees that he can't touch you, he wants to break somebody that will break you. We are going to cry out tonight. And I want to beg us, I want to beg us, when you cry, let God know in your heart of hearts you need it. Don't pray it because I said pray it. Pray because you have looked at it. If I don't find mercy tonight, I'm finished. Whether you lay down, whether you stand, Whatever posture, in the next 2-3 minutes, find a place. This is our prayer ground. This is our family house. Our Daddy is here. Anyone that comes to him, he will in no wise— if you want to lie down, see, excuse yourself from religion, excuse yourself, find a spot that best between you and God. Jesus, have mercy on me. Let me find mercy. Just play strings and flow, my friend. Just strings. Let me find mercy. Let me find mercy. Let me find mercy in your sight. Let me find mercy. Please pray. I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ. Oh, ask God for mercy. Ask him for mercy. Oh, ask him for mercy. Pity. Ask him for mercy. Oh, ask the Lord for mercy.
Please pray.
Let your heart, in your heart of hearts, please cry. Ask him, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Have mercy on me.
Have mercy.
Have mercy. Have mercy on my household.
Have mercy.
Oh, you have one more minute. Please pray for mercy. Please pray. I I want us to cover. 2026 is almost here. Please let it be registered in heaven that we cried for mercy. Oh, please pray, please pray, please pray, please pray, please pray, please pray, please pray. Mercy, mercy, mercy. Mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy. Show me your mercy, Jesus. Show me your mercy. We've been fasting, we've been praying. Beloved, please pray this one. Let me find mercy in your sight. Let me find mercy in your sight. Some trust in chariots Others trust in their kings, but we trust in the name of the Lord. When the arm of flesh will fail them, we will still be standing strong. We triumph in the name of the Lord.
Oh, please pray. Please pray.
Please pray.
Please pray. Mercy, mercy. Oh yes, let's pray.
In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Please sit for a moment. I I remember, um, that should be maybe year 2006, I think so, towards the end of the year like this. Reduce it a bit. A family came to greet us, greet us, and, um, oh, 2006, they were traveling traveling from Kano, oh, we're in Kano, to the west. And the man, his wife, and 3 kids, um, one of his daughters that was about age 3, 4 then, we noticed when they came to our house that the girl didn't stop crying. So my dad asked, what's going on? Why is she crying. So he said for 3 days she has refused to eat. So he called the girl, why are you not eating? The girl said, this trip we are going for, I don't want us to go. Small girl, she said if they want to go, but she, she's not going. They forced the girl. My dad called him. My dad is a pastor, called him and said, the way this girl is crying, have you prayed about this trip? He said, ah, we have prayed. He said, it's been long, we've traveled, we have to go and see grandma. So he agreed with them in prayer, and then they traveled the following day early in the morning. By afternoon, they brought bad news that the entire family ran under a trailer and all died, including that girl. Ah, so they move— they were going to the village, um, greet them, do Christmas with them, but also a wedding. They buried them the morning of the wedding, before they did the wedding. But when they took the body to the hospital, um, to the mortuary, well, you know, they just put them on the floor. That was when they observed that the man's finger was moving. So he alone survived but lost the wife and all the kids. Listen, there are journeys, and I'm not trying trying to scare anybody. We have the Spirit of God on our side. But there are things that the best God will do for you is don't do it. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, you will not embark on a journey to a destination of no return. I didn't hear that amen loud enough. You will go to where the mercy of God is not waiting.
You will not embark on a journey of no return. You will not go to where the mercy of God is not waiting.
You will decree and declare, Lord, myself and everyone connected to me, everywhere we step, let mercy back us up.
Let mercy Oh, please pray. Oh, I wish you pray. Please pray.
Martin Papa Tiangoro.
Oh, please pray.
Oh, please pray one more minute.
Please pray.
Make sure, make sure you pray, beloved.
Prayer is like money you invest in a bank. You can pray ahead. You can pray ahead. You can pray ahead. You can pray ahead. God has not called the seed of Jacob to seek him in vain. There is a reason why you are waiting at this season in time. Please pray ahead. Please pray. I beseech you by the mercies of the Lord, please pray. Anywhere your mercy is not waiting, I will not be there. Anywhere your mercy is not waiting, I will not be there. Please pray. Oh, the mercy that keeps, the mercy that preserves, the mercy that upholds. Oh, please pray. You have 30 more seconds. Pray.
Please pray.
Thank you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name I pray. Let me hear that amen loud and clear. I make this declaration: as God lives, anywhere the mercy of God is not waiting, you will not go there. The enemy The enemy will not break your backbone. Please sit for a moment. Don't forget that prayer. The enemy will not break your backbone. You know, the backbone is this as a support structure for the body. Ah, people of God, grief can break a solo. That's why when we have the opportunity to talk as Christians, we should not talk from our privileges. People are going through. Daddy Joe shared a story with us. A woman who— a widow who sent her son with all that she had to go get master's or so in London. Said it was in the days where they go by the sea and The boy went, wrote letters home, she wrote letters back, finished with flying colors, returned home, and they went to the port to receive him. And people came to receive their families, and the boy was coming down from the ship, and while he was happy seeing his momma fa, he missed his step. And fell inside the water. He said they looked for the boy, they couldn't find him for days. She came there, saw her joy, but still went home empty-handed. And he said when she got back to the village, she was grieving so bad that she will wake up in the morning, pick a bowl, and go to the river and start scooping water. People will meet her there and say, Mama, what are you looking for? She said, I'm looking for my son. People of God, the enemy will not break your backbone. Can I ask us to pray a very simple prayer? Father, in the name of Jesus, let your mercy uphold my household. We don't want to mourn. We don't want to mourn. Please pray, beloved. Please pray. Please pray.
Please pray.
If you have known what it means to mourn, pray.
You will not again.
Please Please pray. Please pray. Oh God, help us, help us, help us, help us. Let your mercy secure, let your mercy sit on our house.
In Jesus.
Mighty name we're praying. Uh, you are trying. I give your prayer 5.5 over 10, so you're above average. We'll still pray more. Please sit for a moment as I begin to close now. In the book of Mark chapter number 10, I want to show us one more thing that mercy does. Mercy changes a man's story. Ah, can I tell you this? There are times that everyone you look up to to help you, God will just make sure they forget. So when he does it, only him could take the glory.
Yeah.
Mark 10, let's start the reading from verse 46. Mark 10:46. And they came to Jericho.
Yeah.
And as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, a great number of people, crowd, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. Was glorious about being a beggar. There's nothing beautiful about it. It doesn't matter how kind you are, if all a person keeps doing is begging and begging, there comes a time you start getting tired. Am I correct? And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth— so he was hearing noise, people are moving, make way, make way, protocol officers. Hey, what's happening today? They said, Jesus is passing. If you know this passage well, you will notice that this passage through that part of the town was his last time of passing through Jericho till crucifixion. So it was a moment that must be seized, or he dies in that condition. When he heard, wow, Jesus, he began to cry out, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Why did he call him Son of David? It was David that God made the covenant of everlasting mercy with. He might be blind, but he was seen more than those who had eyes. Is there anyone who can shout it tonight? Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Oh, can you say it one more time?
Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Mercy, it is all around me now. Is that a song? It is moving me from now until the day I see. Yeah, who knows that lyrics?
Femi Lazarus.
She will cover me, oh God, until the day, until the day I see my King.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You guys are one of the best singers in this town.
Thank you. Wow, wow, wow.
Look at that scripture. If mercy has ever changed your life, you understand. You will understand. Some of us were people that God picked from dung hill and set among princes. Let me ask you a question. If they, um, let me use— woman of God, come. Yes, bring your notes. Let me use as this example. Imagine that somebody just gave birth, so they gave the child to you and say, help me hold that child. Okay, okay. So trust in God for— don't worry, it's done. See, look at me. You know, I, I don't know you from anywhere. It's as good as done because I don't know. Now look at the example I want to give because there's a part of that example example that you may, but follow me. So someone say, carry this baby. You carry the child. Say, I want to quickly buy something outside. So you carry the child. While you are dancing with the child, you slipped and the child fell. You carry that baby. Baby, wake up! Ha! Mama! You look through the window, mother is Femi, baby! Then just as the mother was about to open the door, the baby cried out. Nothing, no sign of anything. How do you share the testimony to the mother? Ah, some of the biggest things mercy will do will be between you and God.
Thank you.
My time is up. Are you following what I'm saying? Thank you, sir. Some of the biggest things people will be talking, you just sit and say, hey, you know, I go to some places, dignitaries, and they are saying, we are so honored, we have Apostle Femi Lazarus around, this is his first time here. And I'm just saying, I've been here before. But it was a different version. You don't owe them explanation, just leave it. There are stories you just leave because now mercy is what speak. Are you following what I'm saying? They called that guy that, that day he woke up blind. He was used to sleeping blind, but that's the last time you will be blind. Lift your hands. The mercy that changes situation, Lord, I ask for it. I ask for it. The mercy that changes the life of a man completely, Lord, I ask for it. I ask for it. I ask for it. Give me, Lord. Can we shout it 3 times? Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Now, you know, this is RCCG City of David. This is house of mercy. Anything David beg his mercy. Say it again. Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Have mercy on me.
Say it one more time. Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Have mercy on me.
Everyone Under the sound of my voice, what you have pursued and you've not been able to touch, on the bill of mercy, it gravitate towards you. The doors you are even too afraid to knock because you feel is not for your kind. It opens on his own account.
Accord.
There's somebody here with a consistent report. You apply for a job. Please, all eyes closed. You apply for a job, they say you are too good for it, so we can't give you. You apply, they say— let that person just wave. I don't know who that person is. You apply, they say, ah, you are too qualified. All right, okay. I decree and declare in In the name of Jesus, even the doors you are not knocking opens. The mercy of God that preserves rests upon you and your household. I don't know who this person is. You have lost two siblings and one is sick now. The mercy of God puts a mark of demarcation in that house. You will no longer bury anybody. The hand of God upholds you. If there's any sickness in anybody's— your body, any part of your body, your abdomen, your chest, your kidney, your liver, your blood, anything that is making doctors suspect dialysis, by the power of God's mercy, sickness is removed from your body. You will live your life with a perfect health. Those who are here, that the devil has been troubling your mind persistently with the thought of death, that you know you may just pass, something may just happen, we cast that thought down. We bring it into subjection. We bring it into captivity. Your soul is escaped. Your soul is escaped. Now hear the words of the Lord: by this time next year, if Jesus tarries to come, it will be said of you, nothing missing, nothing broken. By this time next year, if Jesus tarries to come, you'll be 100 times more. The The quality of miracle you've not seen, ita to till now, before this year runs out, it vomits your own. It is done in Jesus' mighty name. Thank you, sir.
Amen. Can you say thank you, thank you, thank you? Awesome, awesome, awesome. Please, can we stretch forth our hands towards Pastor Femi Lazarus, I pray that the Lord will continue to make him a global voice. The Lord will shield him, protect him and his family in the name of Jesus, that every God's purpose concerning him and his ministry will be fulfilled in Jesus' name. He will not fall, he will not falter. The Lord would expand him, the Lord will multiply him. Let's pray that he will
