A retreat should include time for thinking, not just prayer. Know when you do your best work—morning, afternoon, or night—and protect that time fiercely. Discipline starves distractions, the thing holding most people back.
Don't just create retreat for prayers.
Create retreat for thinking, for clarity, for clarity.
Sit down and detach yourself from the noise. Sometimes you are not as busy as you think. You only— you are not walking with yourself. You're not working with your uniqueness. So understand, am I a night person or early morning person or an afternoon person? See, listen, it's so easy. Understand when you are the— when you have your peak performance time and put your most important activity there. You don't owe anybody explanation. You don't have to be like me. You need foresight and to be able to create time for that, you need to starve your distraction. I said to you, the biggest grip they have on you is your lack of discipline. The more disciplined you are, the more their grips fall off. Get out of the hustling and bustling. It is not classy to be, to be in the crowd and you all are copying yourself. Everybody's just repeating. It's not classy. I think you should have some Held this sense of pride to be different. Just be different. Just refuse to be. It's a consciousness, it's a mindset. Just be different.
