In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Now this morning it's going to be quite a radical morning. I'm going to tell you why. There are prayers we are going to pray and I'm going to have to look forward to seeing the immediate expression of that prayer, of those prayers. But before we get into them, after 1 Samuel chapter number 17, when— because I'm going to be doing a lot in 1 Samuel 17 this morning— when David killed Goliath, the Bible said that the woman— the women, sorry— of the land began to sing songs of praise. All right, so mean that they began to, they began to sing a song specifically now that David had killed 10,000, his 10,000, and Saul is what, thousands. And what they did was that they stirred up the jealousy in Saul such that Saul wanted to now kill David from that moment. In fact, as a matter of time, there was a time that David was standing and the Bible said Saul wanted to— he threw a javelin to nail him to the wall. If you know anything about Saul and his training battle, they don't miss. But there was a reinforcement around the life of David. That's why David could say Psalm 23, that, 'Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil.' He said, 'For you are with me, your rock and your—' comfort me. So you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemy. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all days of my life. Now I sense the hand of God on my life this morning, and this is a very, very prophetic one. Get up on your feet, everyone. There are seasons where the propensity for attack becomes heightened in a man's life. One of the most strategic season that the enemy attacks is when a man is closest to breakthrough. The second one is when the man has broken through. The first is to insist that the man doesn't enter. The second is to insist that it doesn't last. These are two very serious— the moment you are rejoicing that you have won, be careful, that's when the devil is closest that you can imagine. Anyone here who seems to be in a season of celebration that you have overcome an obstacle and all that, that is the most important time for the devil to end the song. But I decree and declare that the songs of praise on your lips will not become the songs of sorrow.

Again, I want to decree and declare again that the songs of praise on your lips will not become the songs of sorrow. People of God, please hear me and hear me well. The Bible made it very clear we are in a very very wicked world. Hear me again, there is no alternative to power. You will either understand the way of strength, the way of covenant, the way of covering, or a man is exposed to vicious attacks, vicious attacks. That it will interest you to see a man who has suffered all his life, or a woman all her life, and at the edge of breakthrough or the season to begin to enjoy what God has released. Then something comes that announced that the dance is over. The same way God mounted— because it was David who said that as the mountains around about surround Jerusalem, so will the Lord surround them that do his will. There is a level of protection and refuge that you cannot afford to do life without. Are you following what I'm saying here? There is a level of what? Protection. And what? Refuge. Are you following what I'm saying here? That I am not alone in the cold. I am not exposed. Let me share a story with you. Years back, we're going to minister somewhere, another country. I mean, this is about 11 years ago. Planning for a powerful crusade. And one of those days, I mean, I remember when I got there, I just, as the moment I stepped my feet on the ground, I sensed very strongly that there is something very strange happening here. I just sensed that there's a strange activity here. I sensed strongly. I laid my hands, touched the soil, decreed, let the power of God run through this place. At night, a woman came to that place. Somebody among them, a general place, I don't want to mention. And then the guy brought another person's wife in. The woman began to cry the moment she sat down. She said, they told us that the man of God is coming from Nigeria and we have gone to bury something in this room. Let me tell you, they dug it out. They buried something. And I will tell you something, the room that they buried that thing was the room they took me to. The apostle, this is your room. I said, Pastor Joe, I said, I don't feel connected to this. So I just, I said, I'm not going to be here, let me go somewhere else. I just didn't feel it. I went somewhere else. So the people who now got there and said, ah, this is a better room, thank God Pastor didn't want it. They were like this. I am saying that you cannot live life without a measure of defense. The world is evil. This is 2014, 15 years ago. I went to minister in a place, Southwest Nigeria. I don't want to mention the state. Are you following what I'm saying here? I was ministering when a girl began to confess and said, they sent me to go and send you, to go and send Pastor on a journey of no return. You see, you are the one who is doing life like everybody is your friend. She brought out a glass. She said when she goes for meetings, she sit down in that place, and then she just says she's just looking at the man of God that she has a pin. All she has to do is just to pierce the glass with the pin, and then the person will develop a pain from there and die. Many people have gone to minister in places, come back home and start vomiting blood and die. You say I'm just a teacher of the word, I don't do all those power stuff. If you don't do all the power stuff, you will do dead, dead stuff.

You either have power or you are taken out.

There's no alternative.

You pray like a madman.

You pray like your life depends on it.

Things are getting better, pray. Things are looking bad, pray. It looks like it will get better, pray. Are you following what I'm saying here? Whether one the case is, pray. You just got a wife, pray. You just got a husband, pray. You just got a child, pray. No child yet, pray. You have a job, pray. You don't have a job, pray. In all things, prayer. Have respect to covenant.

The dark place of this world is full of the habitation of cruelty. It is a cruel place. Are you following?

I shared this story with you. This is— I mean, this was my own introduction to say, okay, news flash, no jokes.

That was my introduction. I don't know if it was 2014 or 20— I'm not sorry, 2004, 2006. There was a case, I've shared this story with you, I mean, the memory can't leave me. We just read in the newspaper now, The Sun newspaper, all right, a guy was driving his bike on Third Mainland Bridge and then hit the car of a naval officer. The man came out from the vehicle, shot the boy in the head.

That was the news that went around. Few days later, another news came again. That the—

of course, the boy was a student in UNILAG. It was that bike he was riding to pay school fees. The most painful story was the fact that the father died when the mother was pregnant. The mother died while she was delivering him. Is the only seed from the both of them now taken out? Taken out!

You want to imagine that the world should have some mercy?

But no, sir. You will pray your own way into refuge and safety. Everyone, both the camera people and whatever it is you are—

put your two hands on your head.

I will not be a victim of evil.

I am— the layer of God's power is reinforced around my life, around my home, around my family, around those connected to me. Reinforcement of power. It is a wicked world. Please pray. Reinforcement, reinforcement, reinforcement. Reinforcement of your will straight around my life. Empower me that I will not be taken out, rather your protection is reinforced around my life.

Pray. Pray, pray.

In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Let me tell you this, I've told you, at the end of the day, the whole world will— every knee will bow that Jesus is Lord. People look at you praying, they mock you. Don't forget about it, you pray. I've told you that prayer is like money you put in a bank, you invest for the future. And when the future comes, pray too. Are you feeling what I'm saying here? Still what? Pray. Let me share with you, years back, you know, I see people, me You can't convince me against prayer. Many of the things people see us doing now, I've been doing since campus days, gathering people for vigils. We pray like we wanted to die. If there's anyone amongst my friends who probably is online, they will tell you we pray like we wanted to die with fasting. But let me share something with you. There were things that happened in my life that introduced— not just some, some just happened, voilà, this is it, just know you are in the world of battle. I remember I traveled home, part one, went home, all right, for a break, and I slept. I found myself in a place like a big prison where they were slaughtering people. So one big guy sat down, a big woman on a big table, had just read the list, will call people's name and call their mother's name and say, it's your turn. The person will leave the crowd and by himself will carry a black cloth and tie around his own face. Places and go to the slaughter slab and kneel down there. And somebody— now, in all of the case of what God showed me, it is somebody from the person's family that will bring a knife and slaughter the person. And they were calling names, so they brought— they called my name, Femi Lazarus. I got up, and in all honesty, I went to pick the black cloth. But you know, they There was just a force pushing me to leave. The force was strong. Leave. And by the time I got to the gate of that place, the person that was coming with the knife to cut somebody in the house, and we began to fight, and I stabbed the person. Let me tell you something. As much as even in that vision I had victory, when they woke me up, I remember they came to knock the door that it was time for devotion. The moment I opened the door, I collapsed. The next place I saw myself was in the hospital with drip. Somebody is fighting spiritual battle, you're giving him drip? My brother, I can understand that because, I mean, medical knowledge will always tell you there's something, but you just hear things like people just sleep and didn't wake up? What battle did they fight? It's not my way of mocking anybody. What battle? There can be many medical reasons, yes, I understand. But what battle did they fight? Please, you pray this prayer: Father, whether asleep or awake, reinforce your fire around my life. Will you, will you pray it like your life depends on it? Whether asleep or awake, reinforce your Your wall of fire.

Please pray. Please pray. Please pray. Open your mouth, pray for yourself, pray for yourself, hey, pray for yourself.

In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. To— let me tell you something, you know Mama's prayer got me going. I, I, I don't pray. Mama's prayer got me going. Have you heard that before? Big girl, small God, pray. Sorry, small girl, big God, eh, pray. Buddy, pray. Which other one again? Gen Z, pray. There's Buddy, Abi. Buddy, do what? Pray, pray. Before they will use one soap to rub your head, now you are offering clothes on the street. Pray, pray. We don't, we don't pray. We, we, I, I don't, I don't do all those religious shit. Do it, sir. Do it, do it. I'm saying do it before they start saying justice for— do it, huh? You better get justice yourself. Do it. All those Nigerian pastors, I don't pray. Look at the way they are praying like vampire. Pray too. I've heard different kind of strange stuff online. I say I don't join those prayer platform, they be shouting. Your mommy is shouting on your behalf in the village, on your behalf. You are here in the city, say I don't shout all those stuff. Mama's prayer got me going. Mama is under attack, you can't pray. Pray, pray for yourself. Let me tell you something. One of the most difficult things to believe in life is that you can be of tremendous help even to people, and what they are thinking of is how to take you out. I'm just so you know that you can't use kindness to appease wickedness. You either have power or you have what? Power. Yeah, you— let me say it again, you can't use kindness to appease wickedness. Wicked people can't be appeased. You know, the same way many of you work in bank, um, you have quota. All this one now, they are selling shares. Everybody is reaching out to me, Apostle, come and buy shares. Forget about that thing in Nigeria. They advertise good things in this country. It is good everybody would do it privately. We say forget about those nonsense, no problem. The pressure is on you to buy shares because there's a quota everybody must reach. Abi, don't say I didn't know it. I didn't mention any organization name. Say you get. You go and put your life savings, they've shared you now, you never finish. But that's not the matter. That's the same way even in the kingdom of darkness. There are yearly quota, there are monthly quota. Yeah, that's why people say that there are things that are shared with ember month, ember month, ember month. So it's because when the year is about to end They have to balance account. It's, it's a trend. We have seen it happen. I'm not saying it's doctrine, get what I'm saying? I'm just saying it is visible to the blind and audible to the what? Deaf. But you will not be a victim of balance sheet of, of the kingdom of darkness. I shared the story with you of a young girl that began to confess during the crusade, 12 years old. And she said she killed her father 2 weeks ago. And people in the community could bear witness that the father died 2 weeks ago. How did he die? He went to— he was about to do the house— is it housewarming party? Abi, that's dedication of your house, to move in. Then he said he had headache, that he needed to buy paracetamol. He had the car, but he preferred to take his bike. So he took the bike at night and by himself rode the bike under a trailer, and his head fell off. They buried him with pain and tears in the house he was to open. The day was to open the house. Two weeks later, the girl is saying that I killed him. That's what she was saying, that she killed him. Why? Said because he beat her and all that. Have you— some of you've seen some of these maybe war movies and all these radicalization people? You can see they are trying to radicalize children, and they will put gun in their hands and say, the way you will know that you belong to us now, shoot this person. Pray for your children. Pray for, eh, as they are going to school. Rakopa li akaba. Be backed up with power. One small biscuit, now the whole family is gone. And somebody is sitting there and say, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't do all those Nigerian prayer sheets. I don't do prayer. It's not Nigerian shit, whatever you talk about. It's not Nigerian thing. Pray, sir. The world has been praying before Nigeria existed. Pray. Are you feeling what I'm saying here? Pray. Don't say it's Nigerian stuff. I've traveled to different countries and I can tell you people pray everywhere, sir. That's the fact. Don't— so don't think because Nigerians only pray because they are, they are broke. People pray everywhere, sir. People pray everywhere because they have come to understand that the The world is a wicked place, so don't leave yourself without power and defenseless and just be talking. People brag when they are empty. People brag. Put your two hands on your head, everyone, wherever you are, and you are going to pray it for yourself. In the name of Jesus, see, to every glory there is a defense. Father, mount the defense, my own defense, around my glory. Mount the defense around my glory.

Let it begin from today. Defend me, Lord, even in places and in situations that I'm powerless. Defend me. Lift your voice and pray.

To every glory there is a defense. Pray, defend me, defend In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Now let me tell you this, I've told you now, there are, there are— go and check. Let me, let me give you a balance. See, number 1, know who you are in Christ. Know the authority that you have in Christ. Is that okay? Now know who you are. Pray from that standpoint of who you are in Christ. Pray from the standpoint of the authority that you have in Christ. But pray also understand that there is such a thing called spiritual warfare. Because Paul said in 2 Corinthians 10 from verse 3, says, for though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. So for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. Goats. We cast down imaginations, we cast down every high thing that exalts itself against knowledge of God. Let me tell you what that means. It means that this is God's knowledge for a person's life. This is what I want to do. He said, I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, Jeremiah 29:11. They are thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give you a hope and a future. That is the knowledge of God. True? Yes. He knows it. He said in Jeremiah 1 from verse 5, said, before you were formed in the belly, I knew you and I ordained you as a prophet to nations. He told him, he knew him. That is the knowledge of God. But there are itin that seem to want to ignore what that knowledge is to confront you. He says that we bring them into subjection. If you don't know how to bring them to subjection Though there is a foreknowledge of God about you, it may not come to pass. Because let me tell you this, there is a legal part of what we have in Christ, that is, it is real. So when you read book of Ephesians 1 from verse 3, now when it say, blessed be God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places— legal. But listen to what I'm saying. That is legal. That is, you have it the same way you have money in your account. But there is the vital part, which is experience. So you can have money in your account, but you have no means to withdraw it. That is, you are not going to enjoy it. Um, I think I heard somebody say recently that there's, that there's, um, he said that everybody that were cursed in the Bible had money. And then so That's not true. That's not true. It was a child that they gave birth to and called him Ikaabod, that the glory has departed. It didn't go well with him. It didn't go well with him. Jabez had to cry. When Cain was called, Cain said, it will be that anybody that sees me now will want to also me. So God said, I will put a mark on you. That's a curse. That's a curse. So what about, um, what about, um, Esau? Was Esau not cursed and all that? The father told him now, he said, when you are restless, you will break the yoke. And he broke it. Go on. Don't see— don't let's toy with things. Curses end people. Are you kidding me? Jesus Christ, you want to start and say Since everybody that were cursed in the Bible had— you see, that's it. It is poverty mentality to think everything is about money. Curses is a way to summon forces to work against a person. Blessing is a summon for forces, both of nature and everything, to work in favor of a person. Which one do you prefer? You pray, sir. Are you following what I'm saying here? Now let me show you a scripture. David had to cry in Psalms chapter number 18. He spoke about a category of enemy who were too powerful for him. Psalms 18. All right, if you're there, say amen. Now let me Start the reading from verse 16. Psalms 18 from verse 16 said, he sent from above and took me and drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemies. Hey, ya kabola! Strong what? Enemies. From my strong my enemy and from them which hated me, for they were too strong for me. They prevented me in the day of calamity, but the Lord was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place. He delivered me because— now, thank you, Lord. There are people here who are coming from places that you are the most despised. They will not even imagine that anything good can come out of Nazareth. But who is it that says it when the Lord has not spoken? They've looked at you and say, the way this one is going, let her just go. Maybe one time she will just get pregnant and that's it. And then— a lie. It's a lie. It will not stand. God is going to use your life to shock your adversaries. God will use your life to shock your adversaries. There are people who gloat and speak like God and say, what does he have? Where did he school? What does he study? What is he this? What is he that? And say, we know where their kind end. Na lie! Nobody can conclude about a man that God is not done with. The one who made the heavens and the earth will— listen to what I'm saying— it will draw you out of many waters and set you in your high places. He is the one who raised the beggars from dunghill and set them among princes. We are about to see the beginning of the manifestation of the days where the last will become the first.

God will take people from the back where they have been forgotten and downtrodden and suddenly will open up a new face for them.

That's what David said in 1 Samuel chapter number 17 when he got to the camp where he was to deliver victuals for his brothers. And the Bible said that he heard the Philistines— the Philistine gloating— I was making war. He said, who is able to challenge me? Not even the God of Israel. And David said, hold on a minute. It. What will be done for the one who defeats this guy? The time has come for you to begin to ask things that are bigger than you. Oh, they are not here.

Say, don't worry, relax, guys. What will be done for anyone? Do I say— I say, say he's going to marry the king's daughter. I say, king's daughter, that, that's good. Say the family no got pay tribute. Pay tribute? That's good. He went to meet Saul and said, me, I want to kill this guy, just leave me and him. Don't— you know, when you say Obama want to fight, say madasi, don't enter the matter, leave us. Saul said, no, see, you are a child. This guy has been fighting from the days of his youth. Let me tell you something, when you fight a battle that is won Victory is sure. The end has been prophesied before the beginning. And when David stood out and launched, God backed it up. How will a stone sink into forehead in a time that gun has not been invented? And Goliath fell on his face, and he took Goliath's sword and cut off the head. Victory you as one. Now let me say this to you. One of the day— one of the ways the devil limits people is to intimidate them. The devil doesn't know everything, but he knows many things. There are things, there are areas that God has already given you victory, but the devil comes intimidating you. Don't get into that venture. Don't get to that venture. It's not for your kind. It's not for your kind. It's not because he has seen that if you try it, it's going to work. No more to fear. I say no more intimidation. For God has not given us the spirit of bondage to be afraid, but of love, of power, and of a what? Sound mind. There is a dimension I want to pray for about this morning, because it's time for you to enter into inheritances. It is the spirit of audacity and boldness. To audaciously dare mountains. Now Joshua said—

um, sorry, sorry, Caleb said, he said, give me this mountain. There is a spirit to desire mountains and audaciously enter your inheritance.

You become timid when you are more aware of the problem than what Christ has done. I can tell you surely, we have been praying, and I can tell you that the, the heavens are widely open for the righteous to experience shift. Now, even this morning, God still told me, he said, I want to finance and push as many as are consumed with my agenda. God is trying to pump things to counter narratives. The question is, what do you see? There's going to be doors of opportunity open for you that will make you cry. Amen. Opportunities that you sit down and ask, why me? Mark what I'm telling you. He's going to give you the treasures of darkness, that is treasures that are hidden from veiled eyes. Is going to bring you into a vest that you did not plant. Now the Lord spoke to me this morning. I said many of his children, when he introduced to them some of his plans, they become afraid that this is too big. They become afraid. Some start jilting, some start wondering that this is too big. How am I going to be able to do this? I just want to live a normal life. And said by so doing, many of them have missed in what he has for them. How far is too far? How much is too much? What can you undo? What can you take? Heaven is set to release lavishly in this season. Praise God. Now, I don't know what the capacity of your heart can undo, but I can tell you that there's going to be immediate response. To the prayers we are praying. I didn't hear amen to that. I don't know what you have now that your heart can take. I don't know your capacity, but I want to give you the next 1 minute to ask. Like Jesus asked the guy that was blind, what do you want to be done for you? You have the next 1 minute. Ask the Lord, and I will tell you, don't ask for bread and butter. Don't ask for bread and butter. Ask till your joy is full. Ask till your joy is full. Don't ask for small things. Don't ask for small things. Don't ask for small things. Amen. Let me interrupt your prayer a bit. Get up, everybody. The man at the gate called Beautiful looked at Peter. He fastened his eyes on them, open to receive alms from them. And Peter said, look on us, silver and gold we have not, but such as I have, I give unto you. Now God said to warn you, it is not everything you are asking people that takes time, they take power. It is not everything you need that requires donation, some only requires favor. It is not everything you need that requires gathering, some only requires intervention. What you are postponing for this year can happen today. Yes, sir. The heart of a king is in the hands of God, and he turns it like body of water to wherever he wills. With God, nothing is impossible. Now he said, I am the Lord God of all flesh. Is there anything too difficult for me? Are you— what I'm saying here, I found myself in situation where right, left, and center, no human help was coming. But I'll lift up my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from— oh, you see, it doesn't disappoint. I'm just trying to clear your doubt in case you are asking because you feel your limitation is God's limitation. Wrong way to pray. Again, I want to give you the next 1 minute. Ask like one who is talking to his daddy. I don't know what your heart desires. Now go ahead and cry out to the Lord.

Many have asked, how do I give my life to Christ? I want to make it very, very simple and introduce you today to the person of Jesus. Paul speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 15 from verse 1 said, I deliver unto you the gospel that you have received and also believed, and wherein you stand. How that Christ came and died for our sins according to scriptures, and he was buried according to scriptures, and he rose on the third day according to the scriptures. When he died, he died for our sins. When he was buried, he was buried, and the Bible said he went into the lower part of the earth. And set the captives free. And when he rose on the third day, he rose for our justification. And now we are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this, whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord, I'd like to lead you to Christ. And that is exactly why I'm here this morning. You want to say these words after me: Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen.
