Let me tell you, let me tell you something. There are at least— let me mention 3 secrets to prayer that when a person doesn't understand it, the person will struggle. Okay, number 1 secret is the power of thanksgiving.

Giving.

See, let me tell you, anybody who is not grateful is not going to get more. It's a core secret. Anybody who is not grateful, you know, because people, people are thanking God, but many people are doing from the standpoint of— so this is the way we have to start prayer. Let's quickly get over— let's, let's get this over with so we can get to No, start requesting. The one you want to request from is the one you want to quickly stop thanking so you can start requesting. He sees all the things that the Lord has done yesterday. Are you grateful for it? You woke up this morning, none of your body parts said leave me alone. Are you grateful for it? Where you have been placed in life The association, the relationships around you, are you grateful for it? Many are not grateful. They are quick to want more. Let me give you one more minute to show your gratitude. Go ahead before the Lord and give him all the praise. Go ahead right now, grab a minute, go before the Lord and give him all the worship. Give him all the adoration because he deserves it. Oh yes, he deserves it. Thank you, Jesus. Lift your hands to him and honor him. Give him all the glory. Give him all the worship. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Another secret to prayer that when a person understands, even the devil is trembling, is people who know the way of mercy. Unfortunately People rarely pray prayers of mercy because they think the prayer of mercy is for sinners. When mercy is speaking for you, when mercy is speaking for you, nobody can pull you down. When mercy is speaking for you, nobody can pull you down. That was the secret that David found. That was the secret. David wasn't perfect, but it was difficult for the devil to have a final say because he found a covenant called the Covenant of Sure Mercies. So I found David my servant, with my holy oil I've anointed him. Perfection is good. But a man who has found mercy will last better. Be ye perfect as your heavenly Father in heaven is perfect. Perfect, good. But when you find mercy, ah, what did Jacob found before God? And he said, the children being not yet born, neither having done good or bad, but that the purpose of God according to election might stand. Said, Jacob have I loved, this have I hated. So not of him that willeth, but of God that showeth mercy. Yeah, lift your hands. Lord, I obtain mercy this morning. I obtain mercy. I obtain mercy. I obtain mercy. Jesus, thou Son of David. Hold on a minute. That guy called Blind Bartimaeus, that guy might be blind, but he has sense. When he was going to ask for mercy, he channeled the genealogy to David. He channeled the genealogy to David. Jesus, thou Son of mercy, and thou Son of David, have mercy on— he knew where that— he knew it. He knew what he was saying. He could have said it was easier for Son of Joseph. Why did you say Son of David? Did he— all through the time he was blind, was he tracing the ancestry? Have you ever thought about that? They were from one— a family that was not really noble, but the genealogy was noble. Who taught him? Who traced it for him? How did he calculate it? He was wise. He was waiting for that one opportunity. He traced the genealogy. If this is the father, Obed, oh good, this must be David. When he pulled that string, ah, Jesus had to look back. Call that guy for me, he knows something. And he got the mercy. Everybody, wherever you are, go on your faces before God. Let me find mercy in your sight. Let me find mercy in your sight. Amen. Now look up, everybody. Humanly speaking, you are limited. Let me say it again. Humanly speaking, you are what? You are limited. Um, let me read a word. One of my brothers is a man I love and respect so much. Femi Lazarus sent me something yesterday, and I knew when I read it that this is the word from the Lord. When I say he's a man whose prophetic cutting edge I have tested and vetted in the place of prayer, he said Christians— now he was documenting what God told him, and then he shared with me— Christians need to reposition themselves for favor. In the second half of the year. The first half has been preparatory period for some who have labored in prayer and character building. The second half will deliver great blessings through gratitude to God and men. He said gratitude and mercy will be the key to delivering the remaining result for the remaining part of the year. But the Lord said, my children are ingrate because of entitlement mentality. Many people have lived in this mentality for a long time, and without mercy, they will fall out of favor. This season will determine the next 10 to 15 years of so many people. Now you got the illustration of Luke chapter number 17, um, from verse 11 to 19. All right, Luke 17 also verse 16. So others, um, look at it. Let me just jump a few things. Said in church, many people who feel entitled will fall out of favor with God and their pastors, including key people. They will deliberately frustrate God's program because they want a raise or have unresolved issues with leadership of the church. People who get too used to God's blessing, common and uncommon, and won't thank God again because they think it is their right. In many families, there will be tension also. Wives ungrateful to husband, husband ungrateful to wives because they feel entitled. He said some people become homeless because they keep— they fail— they stop to— I'm sorry, they stop keeping rules at home. Many things are coded here. People are going to fall out of favor. Ingratitude. Commonizing the blessings of the Lord. Oh, I deserve it. I mean, you don't give me, who should they have given? Seeing what God is doing as a right, not a privilege. God used people to bless you. Come on, thank you. You can't say— there are, there are protocols. There are, there are key protocols in the spirit realm. There are key protocols. People don't understand it, and many are frustrated because they don't understand this protocol. They keep thinking God is wicked. Many are frustrated. Many can't be positioned for favor because of entitlement mentality. When I read this, I, my, my body shook. I said, my God, this is, this is the word from the Lord. And you can, you can look at the spirit, it's all over everywhere. The spirit of ungodliness in the air is everywhere. It's the spirit of this age. Some of us have been raised for such a time as this, to confront many societal culture headlong. But we're also finding out that we need to build an ark first. And rescue a few. In the midst of— you hear many thoughts process. If an average young girl should listen to what is being said on social media now, you can't keep a family. You can't. If a young man should listen to what's on social media, you can't keep a home. You pray this prayer: Father, give me the wisdom not to fall out of favor. Now, I was just— hold on a minute— I was just sharing with my people before we started PPC here. That even in every generation, whether you are called to ministry or whatever, there are people that God will use to open the gate to bring you in. Even your local assembly, may you have a calling, God wants to use you, he's not calling to start a church, you have to serve your local assembly. There are people, the leadership, they are the ones that God will use to open the gate to bring you in through service. If you get entitled, nobody will bring you in. You can be— God will have to find one way or the other. It may take years Before you know it, I know what I'm saying like I know my name. People can't be enlisted in what God wants to do with them because they are not in favor with the right authority. They are not in favor because they are arrogant, and many have missed their divine timing. They are too big for the open doors. They are too big for what God wants to do. They are too saucy to be enlisted. It takes enlistment to be a soldier. You can miss God gallantly because— and there's nothing— you can miss God and there's nothing anyone will do about it. There's a wisdom. I told one of my boys, I said, go and pray for wisdom for relating with uplinks. There's a wisdom. The people God will use to pull your hands up, there's a way to be grateful. This is not man worship. This is the spirit of wisdom. Many don't have it. Again, I want to give you the next 2 minutes. Go on your faces. Father, help me. Give me the wisdom. I don't want to miss this season in my life. Give me the wisdom. Give me the wisdom. Jesus, help me. Help me, help me, help me, help me, help me, Jesus. Give me the spirit of wisdom. And in every way you've been ungrateful, in every way you have missed God through arrogance, ask him for mercy. Ask him for another opportunity. Give me the wisdom. Give me the wisdom. Oh yes, help me, Jesus, thou Son of David. Help me, have mercy on me. Help me, help me. I don't want to be too big in my own sight. I don't want to miss you. Help me, help me. I don't want to miss your plan for my life. I don't want to miss your counsel for my life. I don't want to miss your will for my life. Help me. Femi Lazarus. Help me. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Let's be careful of pride. Be careful of wrong positioning. Be careful. We're in the season where there's going to be a demarcation between the proud and the humble. The Bible said God resists the proud and he gives grace to who? The humble. It's going to be a very clear difference. As a matter of fact, preparing for this meeting this morning, one of the core burden that God has placed in my heart, he said there is a spirit that the devil has released in the air in this season It is the spirit that influences bad decisions. People are going to be making decisions that is obviously— let me tell you, after this prayer, this one, you will see it. But the issue is that you would have been separated from it. You will see people make decisions you would have made, and you know you'd have been grounded. There is this— I'm giving you an insider's info. The devil has released the spirit of lying vanity in its intensity. People are going to be making decisions that is obviously going to destroy their lives, but they are going to be making it regardless. Particularly in this season, people will be making decisions out of impatience. Decisions that is influenced by haste that is going to lead people out of God's plan for their lives. Many who can't wait on God, many who can't wait for what God is saying, many who can't trust what God has said are going to get into the trap of the devil and they're going to get— make bad decisions that is against God's design for their lives. Many are being prepped, they have been prepared for what the devil wants to do. He's already influencing their minds with bitterness, with fear, with confusion, so that when they are face to face with making destiny decision, he has already built enough pump to pump them into what is wrong. There is— people are going to make many bad decisions in this season. Lift your voice, everyone. Father, rescue me, rescue me, deliver me, Lord, rescue me. I don't want to make decisions that will destroy your plan for my life. Rescue me. Go ahead. I don't want to make decisions that will destroy your plans for my life. I don't want to make decisions that will destroy your will for my life. Rescue me. Help me, Jesus, thou Son of David. Help me. Rescue me. I know what I'm saying like I know my name. Oh, pray. Pray. Jesus, thou Son of David, rescue me. I don't want to make bad decisions. Don't want to make bad decisions. Don't want to make bad decisions. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. One of the major things, um, I remember 2016, 2017, around that period in the body of Christ, there was a new knowledge. People are coming up with new knowledge. I'm going to give you a wisdom around that. Many young people will come online and they are— you see, when you, when you learn something new and you fail to realize that there was a grace that kept you in the days you didn't know it, you, you will not be patient with others. Ah, many of them pull out of the ministries they were serving, and they forget that that was the strategy of God for even bringing them into their own generations. Many of them pulled out of their spiritual families. Their spiritual father became too small to lead them. Many of them have no trace in ministry today, no trace anymore. I was asking people I was training yesterday night, how can you be so good you are no longer in the pitch? As a footballer, how can you be so good as a footballer you are no longer in the pitch? You are too good to be on the pitch, you are not even in the reserve bench. Don't miss God because of arrogance. It's always— error goes in cycles. Any of those who are— I mean, let me tell you something. God wants to purge his church. So it is possible that what somebody is even saying, saying we need to do this, it's possible it is correct. It is possible. But it is also possible that in the process God has known that Because of the state of your eyes, he can't use you for that generation. You think when you use a cane to flog a child, the child might be wrong, but you keep the child and throw away the cane. Don't volunteer to be a cane. Don't, don't volunteer to be a cane. Be careful. As I speak right now, many are in the process of making decisions that will take them out of God's plan. Two very important things you need to put in your arsenal in this season. Number one, humility. Humility. Be humble. So that those that God will use to lift your hands will not begin to call you mentors. Be very humble. You are going to miss key relationships because you look down on people. Yesterday the network went bad. I shared the story. I went somewhere to preach.

I—

the anointing of God on my head was so intense. God was speaking to me, tell the young man that was leading the choir song, tell him A time is coming that even children will have his song on their lips. I'll make his song this, this, this in this nation. I went there with the intent to tell him. I was saying, this is what the Lord said. Whether it is a dog that is barking, it was not his business. As at then, it's not a popular man of God that is giving him the popular man of God, then they would have documented a video and posted, oh, Apostle Lazarus prophecy over me. By the time the meeting started, it occurred to him that he has missed the word from the Lord. And God told me, he said, this same reason is the reason why I've not been able to place it on him for over 5 years. Said, I've taken it and given it to another. Be careful of pride. Be careful of pride. Should I prostrate and beg you? Be careful of pride. Only God knows the future. Only God, he can, he can use anybody for you.

Anybody.

You can be praying and yet you are not prepared character-wise. I want you to pray this prayer loud and clear wherever you are. Father, help me. Deliver me from myself. Help me not to make bad decisions. Deliver me from me. Help me not to make bad decisions. Deliver me from me. Help me not to make bad decisions. Deliver me from me. Help me not to make bad decisions. Deliver me, Lord. Please pray. Help me not to see men as trees. Now pray like this: Father, even if I've missed your will and missed your plan for me, by your mercy, engraft me back. Please pray. By your mercy, Lord, and graft me back. Oh, thank you, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Maybe all you need to do to get back into destiny is to swallow your words. Maybe. Maybe the reason why you are not able to get back is because you are saying, but I've said this. All people say you are not really called to be a man of your words. You are called to be a man of his words. If you have made a decision that you discover that is not so wise, uh, you can swallow back your words. Some people, the way into the future is to go back to the place they said they can never go back to. Oh yes, some things that sometimes that's all, that's what is between you. It's not the devil, it's your pride between you and God's will. It's your ego. No, no, no, when I left that place, I said they would never see me again, and now nobody— and God is saying, you are— you said your own, you said it on your own. Now this is me saying, you want to defend your arrogance or hold on to destiny? When pride takes you out of destiny, it is bitterness that will maintain you behind the wall. In the next 10, 20 years, you are still holding the story why I left, because that's the only justification for the reason why you have not become You are serving in the ministry, they corrected you, you say you have your own calling now. You will have to service that decision either by joining the cult or by making that ministry a message as the reason why you can't become. And I'm telling you now, nobody owes you anything in life. You fight to get back into God's plan if you know you have missed it. Nobody owes you anything. No, you have missed it, you want to use your ego to defend it. Doesn't work that way. Lifting doesn't come until you humble yourself. What would they say? They will say I'm a prodigal son. They'll say I'm a— everybody's going to mock you. It's better they mock you for a few weeks. And, um, you become what God wants you to become, and for them to mock you for life in future. A man of God came out recently, said, I've made certain mistakes, I've said some things I should not have said, I did them under pressure. People were beginning to mock him on social media. I said, they don't even know what's going on. Bible say if you judge yourself, you won't be judged. Share the people that will get before God to know what they missed. You see a man who is seeing that I'm at the last phase of my ministry, let me make amends. You don't know what's going on. Wait till you stand before God face to face before you get your own report card. Look at you. I'm telling you now, sometimes you are here praying. Prayer is not going to be a substitute for the decision of humility. Like lie. You can't miss God out of pride and use prayer to get back. Never. Let me say it again. You can't miss God out of pride and use prayer to get back. Never. You will have to humble yourself or you are out of the race. Out of the race. You have missed seasons because of wrong positioning. You have missed season because you became party with those who are bitter and everybody fell out of their divine timing, you'd have to humble yourself to get back. Oh yes, I'm telling you the words of the Lord this morning. I'm not sure now I'm going to leave you to yourself. I owe it to God that I told you the truth. Everyone pray for the spirit of humility. Hold on. God is not going to make the decisions for you. There are decisions you have made wrongly. You'll have to undo it yourself. If there are people you call this morning and say, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, call. You won't die. If there are individuals who hold their leg and say, forgive me, do it. You won't die. And to spend the remaining part of your life out of God's will. I told you, don't be too good a player. You are no longer on the pitch. You are too good. Your kind can't play anymore because you are just too good. Give you the next 2 minutes to pray that prayer. Help me. I write down the decisions you have to make. This morning, write them down. You have to beg your wife, you have to beg your husband, you have to beg your children. Do it, you won't die. Don't wait till your life become a flash in a pan and on your deathbed you know that you have made the wrong decisions. Don't wait, don't wait. Can't use ego. To sustain yourself, you are out of God's will. Beg you in the name of Jesus Christ, make that decision now. You have the next one more minute to pray that prayer. Help me, Lord. Help me, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Life is very deep. Somebody can be saying, Apostle Lazarus, Apostle, that's my newfound mentor, that's my newfound leader, that's my newfound this. Meanwhile, you as opposed to— you are smiling and say, oh, somebody there is following me. Now lie. It could be that the fellow has rebelled out of a place. And they are trying to use you that I found somebody better. You can't deceive God. Your inheritance is in your spiritual lineage. If you pull out without God saying to pull out, you have missed your inheritance. Nobody can give you what you decide to leave. You have to go back and pick what is yours. I must get the balance. I see people send me mails this, this, this. If you have a pastor that you are submitted under, they are the ones that know your history. Say, ah, I mistakenly did this, this, this. Those who know your history will know maybe this is the 10th mistake. You must go back to understanding the sanctity of the local assembly, the sanctity of the voices God has placed over you directly. I don't even know many people. I only come here every morning to lead prayer. Let me tell you something. If you are in a spiritual family, maybe you have a pastor and they are saying do this, you say no, I want to do this. You now come for PPC and say Apostle has just confirmed what God has been telling me. Now lie, now lie. I didn't confirm any jack. It is in your spiritual family that God puts the process, particularly if they are in tune with God. Now lie. Oh yes, quote me anyway. Must get the balance. God doesn't jump process. He won't. He won't jump process. I tell you that. You are angry what I said, that you will not come for PPC again. No problem. I tell you the truth. You won't jump process. Go back to humbling ourselves. Pastor you hear on social media cannot be used to replace your pastor. Can bless you, but you must know the voices God has placed you directly under. Very careful. There's a young lady there who needs to cry out. There's sexual immorality between you and your leader. You need to cry out. You need to cry out. You need to cry out. You need to cry out. You know yourself. You need to cry out. All right, so God strengthens you in the name of Jesus. Tomorrow morning there is no PPC. But we're going to meet tomorrow night from 11 o'clock for crossover into the month of June. It's going to be a serious one because we're entering second half. June is the sixth month, that's the end of first half. So 2024, whether you know it or not, is almost half gone. So we have no time, beloved. We must get many things right. Amen. We must get many things right. I don't know if you are blessed this morning. There are some who don't even have a spiritual family because they are not born again. They are not born again at all. You need to give your life to Jesus Christ. Told you that tomorrow may be too late. You may say it's not the gospel, but it is also not a threat. It's also not a lie. Jesus has shed his blood for you not to perish but to have everlasting life. Accept the gift of salvation now. His hand is always stretched out. Said, though your sin be as red as scarlet, I will make you as white as snow. He wants to cleanse you totally. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. All things are passed away and all things have become new. You're making that decision, place your right hand on your chest and say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. I believe that you died for my sins I also believe that you rose on the third day for my justification.
