We are going to be praying, all right, some very serious prayer. And if you don't pray this morning, I don't know what kind get you to pray again. Amen. If you don't pray this morning, I don't know what can get up again. All right, in 2 Corinthians 10 from verse 4— from verse 3, Paul began to say to the Corinthians church, said, though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. Why? He said the weapon of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imagination, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Now that scripture, um, speaks emphatically about the reality of spiritual warfare. All right, but there's another scripture I want to call your attention to, and that's the book of Ephesians. Ephesians chapter number 6. All right, I want us to pay attention to that. Ephesians chapter number 6, and I will start the reading from verse 10. Ephesians 6:10 says, finally Femi, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Why? Says, put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers. Now listen to this, all right? Principalities are described, described as princes over territory. So, um, let me, let me give you a very simple, simple illustration of what that means. All right, once you get this, you have no problem trying to understand principality. In literal word, it means the prince over a territory. So how do you know the activity of a principality in a territory? If you go to a territory, a location, maybe a village, maybe a city, um, the effect of the principality there is known by looking at the common practice, that is an act of rebellion against God. Okay, so a principality sits and filters the— and make sure that there is a practice of the people that violate the principle of God. And you notice that this seems to be more prevalent. For instance, there are places you go to and you see that there's a practice of alcoholism eating, there's a practice of teenage pregnancy, there's a— sometimes there can be more than one practices that is a total departure, all right, from the, um, from the ways of God. Then that practice now becomes the tool that the devil used to sift them out of the plan of God, to destroy their lives early, to do— the Bible says that we have— we wrestle against principalities. Then the Bible went to say against powers. So do not think that there is no power in the kingdom of darkness. The Bible mentioned emphatically against powers. If this is mentioned, means they are powerful. All right, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness. The word wickedness, it is what it sounds. Against wickedness. I shared the story with you of something that happened between 2005, 2006, of a young man that was riding bike, um, then Lagos Third Mainland Bridge, and mistakenly hit the vehicle of a man who he didn't know that he was a naval officer coming down from the vehicle. The naval officer coming up from the vehicle drew out his pistol, didn't think twice, didn't ask question, went ahead and shot the boy on his forehead, and the boy died. Um, by what power did he do that? What led him? What pushed him? What made him do it? He may not be able to explain, but he did it. The forces of darkness that are insisting that this one will not survive, they've done their job and they leave. You see that now, all right? Later we found out, I think about 2 days later, that the young man that was killed is an orphan. The father died while the mother was pregnant, all right? Um, the mother died, I think, during delivery or at some point later in his life. The only surviving child of those 2 people murdered in cold blood like that. That is wickedness. If you don't pray when you should, you can become a victim of wicked forces That is why we pray. We are not stupid people from praying. There is a bounty on your head, and there are demons, there are demonic forces and human entities that their reward system is based on the ability to bring you down, that their next promotion is based on the ability to make sure you become nothing.

Will you not pray? You will decree and declare: Every force of wickedness set against my life, let their grip be broken.

In the name of Jesus, lift your voice loud and clear. Pray: Every force of wickedness, every arrangement of wickedness set against my life, let their grip be broken. Let their grip be broken. Every arrangement, every cluster becomes nothing. Let their grip be broken. Let their gathering come to nothing. Because they love blood, feed them with their blood. Because they love flesh, feed them with their flesh. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Now look at this. I was sharing with some of my people a few days back that the devil has so designed it in such a way that at least in every family there are agents of darkness who must deliver a quota. Let me come again. The devil has so designed it, they have this so much powerful network that is so serious that in every family there is a twitch, at least an agent of darkness whose duty is to make sure at least deliver the quota. Sometimes the quota is that nobody rise from that lineage. Sometimes the quota is that nobody becomes anything really serious in that lineage. Village. Sometimes the quota is that no woman will stay in her husband's house in that lineage. Sometimes the quota is no man will successfully stay married in that lineage. They will supervise it, and those who attempt to break the trend and become something different, unless they pray, they can die trying. There are many glory carriers who are frustrated by these clusters of demons, and in many occasions, the same way in Christianity, or the same way as Christians, one generation will serve him and command him to another. The same way in the kingdom of darkness there is handing over. A great grand something has done something bad, did their own part, about to die, has the duty to make sure another person is initiated there to continue from where they stop. They are handing over on matters of your life, but you are not praying.

Somebody say, this is where I've stopped, it's time to go now, and then this, this They are initiating young people, and the people who should be there as believers, as light, to break it are not praying.

Have respect to covenant, for the dark place of this world is full of the habitation of wickedness. Will you pray?

An 8-year-old girl was confessing that the father that died few weeks back, she killed him because the man did something. The man just built his house, the only house. They were trying to move and have the house dedication, housewarming program, this, this, this, and all that. The father disciplined the girl. The girl said she do what She did the night before the housewarming. The man was driving his bike by himself and he rode the bike under the trailer, and that's how he lost his head. Don't wait till a small witch will kill you for promotion. When we say pray, pray now, pray now. Don't wait till they will rejoice and stand over your body and say, we did it. I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ We're in a wicked world. Every agent of darkness who have been given the assignment to make sure that my life becomes nothing, let the judgment of God speak over them now.

Now listen, I'm not trying to get you scared, but if you are somebody under the sound of my voice who is trying to break a trend that nobody has broken before, if you're under the sound of my voice who is trying to break a pattern that nobody has broken before, if you're under the sound of my voice who is trying to become what nobody has become before, if you're under the sound of my voice who is trying to change the narrative in a way that nobody has done before, to successfully do it, you will fight. There are, there are forces who are manning territories of different homes.

To insist that nobody leaves the gate. There are forces who are manning territories of different families to insist that nobody leaves the gate. You cannot be a joker, I beg you in the name of Jesus. It is warfare mode this week.

You will pray till you begin to see the destruction and the annihilation of forces against you. There are people who would not be surprised if something very evil happens to you today. Because that is what they have always looked forward to. That is what they have always trusted—

trusted the devil for. That is what they have always desired. They will not be surprised.

You cannot, cannot leave your life to chance. You cannot. Amen. In Jesus' name we're praying. I believe somebody is fired up and you are not— you are not playing with this moment. I believe you are praying the way you should. Let me show you a scripture that mirrors what wickedness looks like. The book of 2 Kings, chapter number 11, from verse 1. 2 Kings, chapter number 11, from verse 1 says, and when Athaliah, the mother of Isaiah, saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal. Are you seeing that now? She arose and destroyed all the seed royal. But Jehosheba, the daughter of Joram, the sister of Isaiah, took Joash the son of Isaiah and stole him from among the king's sons which were slain, and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber at Attaliah, so that he was not slain. This— there are forces that their conclusion is, if I can't get it and my children can't get it, nobody will have have it. There are forces like that. If I can't get it, my children can't get it, nobody will have it. Listen to what I'm saying. I beg you, I know you are, um, you are trusting, you are good, you are kind, um, you believe nobody who shares your blood can harm you, but think again.

This is a very wicked world. Think again.

That I know, I just trust everybody, everybody wants you to be well. Who wants somebody like me to be harmed? I mean, I'm as peaceful as a Tinko, this is, this is an extremely wicked world where you must pray and understand how to cover yourself and your children with the blood.

You must pray. It is an extremely wicked world. You cannot leave yourself to chance.

They will waste you and cry at your burial and still eat. When we ask you to pray, pray. There are forces that are existing. You wonder why you look at an entire family from generation 1 to Poverty is as thick as a cloud. It is not like people are not having opportunities, but there are forces who are saying, like Atalaya, if my children can't have it, they will not have it either. And they will ground everyone and manipulate destinies and cause chaos and will not mind being in poverty themselves.

When you give people like this money, it hurts them the more.

They know you should not have to give them. You can't buy a witch over with money. You only break through with power. Let me say it again. I know you are young, you are starting life, it's looking good now, but please pray. The things that are good requires more prayer. I know things are—

I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ, please pray. Fathers, hold your families. Mothers, protect your children. Hold yourselves, shield yourself. This is a very wicked world.

Again, you will decree that one agent of darkness whose duty is to see that nobody rise in this lineage, I bring them to book in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

We exit them from their duties. Enough is enough. We exit them from their duties. He disappoints the plans of the crafty so that they cannot perform their enterprise.

Please pray, please pray. You have very brief moment, please pray.

Father, from today I wrap myself in the covenant of sure mercies. Let your mercy that is bringing me out not stop. Now please pay attention to this. Tomorrow I'm going to be teaching you about the power in the blood. There are 3 major forces when it comes to spiritual warfare. Number 1, the power in the name of Jesus. Number 2, the power in the blood of Jesus. Number 3, the power in the word of God. Are you seeing that?

But before we get there, one of the very important realities that believers need to know is the Covenant of Mercy. Um, if you don't know about the Covenant of Mercy, you, you are missing too much. Look at what the Bible says in the book of Psalms 89 about the Covenant of Mercy. Psalms 89 about the Covenant of Mercy. Look at it from verse 20. It says, I found David my servant, with my holy oil have I anointed him. With whom my hand shall be established, my arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. Are you seeing that? Mercy shields people from affliction. He says, I will beat down his foes before his face and plague them that hate him, but my faithfulness and mercy shall be with him, and in my name shall his own be exalted. He's saying, see, all the build-up of this thing I'm going to do, it is going to be predicated on Let me find mercy.

Let me find mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy that speaks when nothing else can speak. Mercy that preserves even when a man should be grounded. I hide under the covenant of mercies. Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Under the covenant of sure mercies. Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

Name.

Mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy. Let it speak. Edge me round about with your mercy. And even as I begin to break patterns, as I begin to break the norms, as I begin to emerge, edge me round about with your mercy. Lord, I ask for the insurance of mercy. Let your mercy edge my life. Let your mercy edge my home. Let your mercy edge those who are connected to Hedge me round about with mercy. In Jesus' name we're praying.

In Jesus' name we're praying. I love the way you are praying, but it's not enough. Now look at this. There are times that people are not dealing with just one adversary. There are many more who have formed league together and they are trying to have joint effort to make sure that you come down. But in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who made the heavens and the earth, you will not come down. I didn't hear amen to that.

You will not come down. You will not drop. You will not fall on the wayside. You will not be a son that said suddenly— it doesn't matter how hard they try. For surely they shall gather, but as many as are gathered not concerning the will of God shall be scattered. It doesn't matter their union and their gathering against your life, they will not succeed in the name of Jesus. They will not succeed in the name of Jesus. Mercy will speak for you. Mercy will shield you. The mercy of God will protect you. You're going out and coming in is blessed. You are insured by his mercies in the name of Jesus. You are breaking the norms, changing the narratives, cleansing darkness, getting the devil out.

Now there's a prayer you are going to pray, and I want to pray that prayer the same way blind Bartimaeus cried to Jesus when Jesus was walking through that square. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever. Ah, that's a very powerful song. He said, though I walk through the valleys of the shadows of death— if only you know the number of people who expecting to hear a sudden downfall. It's not a joke. And they will say it, we know it. They'll say we know it, they'll say we know it. See, it's good to be kind, but if you have no knowledge of warfare, you've been trouble. You saw the news now, the man that saw the boy that was homeless, met the boy at the mall Pity the boy. The boy explained out that his parents are dead, he's never been able to get helper, he needs help, anybody that can assist him. The man said to him, say no more, from today see it so that God has answered your prayer. Every level of education you need, see school, I will sponsor you. Come and live in my house, I will take care of you like my own child. The man put the boy in his car, drove the boy to his house. That same night, the boy stabbed the man in more than 14 places in his sleep. Stabbed him to death. Cold-hearted.

Why?

Because he wants to run away with his phone, with his wallet, with his television set, with his car. The basic things. Killed the man. What about the case of the Femi family that went to get a girl from the village. I followed these stories. He brought the girl in the same school that Femi Lazarus was attending school. They put the girl, everything the same thing, everything, just to make sure there's fairness. The girl did some things, they corrected her. That night she made vegetable soup for the family and poured battery acid, you know, battery water. Acid, poured it in the vegetable. It was the father of the house that ate it first, and the thing started purging him. Like, this is not normal, the taste too is— something is wrong. Then called the girl, whatever it is you, you cook this food with, eat it. That was when the girl began to beg. Ah, this is the food you made for a man, his wife, and 4 children. Eat the food. The girl began to beg. Ah, you ought not to be begging. Okay, so what do you put inside? After several force, that was when she began to confess that she put acid, battery acid, inside the food. Would have wasted an entire family. Kindness is good, but one of the things you must be armed with to prosecute life well is discernment. You must be able to tell different defenses. It's good to be kind, but if you are not discerning, you'll be grounded. If you are not discerning, you'll be grounded. I pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, you will not be wasted. Ah, I didn't hear amen to that.

Again, I pray for you, you will not be wasted.

Pray this prayer like this: Father, open my eyes to be discerning. I don't want to walk through this life blind. Pray that prayer now. Pray that prayer now.

Open my eyes to be discerning.

Help me to be discerning. Help me, help me, help me now. Amen. In Jesus' name we're praying. This is what I'm saying. The prayers I'm leading to pray is not to the end that you become insecure, that you become paranoid. It is to the end that you are not ignorant. Of the evil that is in this world, and you must take your life seriously. Refuse to be ignorant of the evil that is in this world and take your life seriously. It's a wicked world out there. Can't joke, can't afford to play. It's a very wicked world, can't afford to play. There's so much evil. You can't afford to play. Don't let anybody deceive you. There's so much evil, you can't afford to play. You have to take your life seriously. Take prayer for your family seriously. Take prayer for yourself seriously. And somebody is praying for me there, somebody said, oh, pray for me. Pray for yourself. Take it seriously so that the dreams that you have in your heart will not become a mirage. Are you following what I'm saying? So that the dreams you have in your heart will not become a mirage. I pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ. You will finish well. I didn't hear amen to that. You will finish well. You will— now before, before I pray for you, let me beg. If there's anyone here under the sound of my voice who is yet to give his life to Christ, you have seen this morning The only cover we have is Christ. The Bible says in the book of Psalms 91 that he that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadows of the Almighty. That's the only cover we have. You can't— you can't afford to take your life with levity. The devil can't save you. You can't be indifferent. Come to Jesus now and hide under his wings. See, how do I give my life to Christ?

Christ.

First, you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ came to this world to die for your sins, and that he died, and that he also arose on the third day for your justification, and confess it with your mouth. So if you are making that decision now, you can say after me: Lord Jesus, I believe that you came to this world to die for my sins. I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord and Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen. Again, I decree you will come out gallantly on the bill of mercy. The hand of the Lord rest upon you in the name of Jesus. The Lord will give you strength to finish all that you have started. Now listen to this: it doesn't matter how complex the battles are, you will come out. Your story is not permitted to end until you sing the song of victory. It doesn't matter how complex the battles you will come out. You will emerge in ways nobody has ever emerged before. You will come out in ways nobody has ever come out before. You will do what no one has ever done before.

You will break the limitations in the name of Jesus.

Let the finger of God rest upon you. From today, God will make his angel spirit and his ministers, Femi Lazarus, will envelop you around with fire.
