GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE 2025 || MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The recording captures a segment of the Global Leadership Conference 2025, where multiple speakers celebrate Apostle Femi Lazarus Victor, promote his books, and affirm his apostolic calling. The main teaching, delivered by a speaker identified as “Speaker B,” focuses on the theme “How to Overcome Inertia.” Drawing on biblical passages (2 Kings 7, Daniel 1, Isaiah 60, Proverbs 24, etc.), the speaker argues that time alone does not produce change; decisive external action, mindset renewal, and strategic planning are required. He stresses the need for a reading culture, education, and knowledge‑gap closure as the root of poverty, and urges leaders to adopt systems thinking, branding, media strategy, and AI training to amplify the gospel globally. The discourse also touches on spiritual warfare, the devil’s influence, and cultural challenges such as LGBTQ agendas, pornography, and societal corruption, warning that without intentional structure and trans‑generational planning the church cannot effect national transformation. The tone oscillates between celebratory, instructional, and cautionary, aiming to mobilize attendees to become multiplication chains in their spheres of influence.

doing with Global Leadership Conference is beyond Femi Lazarus Center Church. I believe that it's beyond this church, is beyond, uh, uh, us as a ministry. God is spreading and extending the tentacles, you know, um, to different spheres of life, to different ministries, different organizations, churches, and catching this vision. And for some of us that we are privileged to be a part, a partner, and a participant of this conference, I believe that God is going to be using you as a multiplication chain of these streams of grace released at this conference, and you are going to replicate the same in your specific sphere of influence. So the Lord will help us all in Jesus' name. Blessed be the name of the Lord. We cannot thank you enough, Doctor. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. That was very— I mean, it's not by shouting. What did I say? And if that is your own flow, bless God, glory to God, you could see, you You know, wisdom in a bodily, in a bodily form. All right, we're going to the last word section right now for tonight. Hallelujah! And then we have God's choice servant and vessel in the house, Apostle Femi Lazarus. And then you see, like I said, when the Spirit of the Lord began to deal with my heart concerning this conference, the The first two people he showed me, showed me Dr. Femi Lazarus, and then, uh, by the grace of God, this is a man whose life, you know, is a testament and evidence of an apostolic grace. When you're talking about pure apostolic grace, not just by title but by virtue, by deeds, by works. And then by proofs, and then by the grace of election. And then when you look at scriptures and you look at the authentic marks of New Testament apostles, and then you look at Apostle Lazarus, you can see these marks evident in his life. Even the blind can see it, the deaf can hear it. And you see, the posture that we take as the people of God is we receive men in their calling. Are you following me? And we say, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. The Bible says he that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall have the prophet's reward. The same thing goes for the other four ministry offices. And so I thank God for his life. He's an apostle by calling. He just flew in from the United States where he did some apostolic works, and then, and then you could see it, he does it, you know, flawlessly. Effortlessly, with ease, because it is a call. And let me say this, God has given him a message for this generation. The last time he sent some of his latest books to me and I was going through them. Please, let me have those books, sir. And then let me just introduce these materials. He just told me that the other books are in the oven and they, you know, released June this year. By God's grace, you should be in Abuja this year. And then other books. Now you see, this book, A Crowd That Wants More Things, is an encyclopedia that details the trajectory of the nation of Israel with respect to their exodus into Canaan land, and then the lessons from, you know, the African continent for Nigeria, for the church, for individuals. I told him yesterday, I said, this is my favorite, right? All the books are loaded and powerful. So I just want to take the liberty to introduce this material, A Crowd That Wants More Things. If you need any of the copies of these books, you can walk up to any of our pastors and then you get your copy. Dysfunctionality. Can somebody say dysfunctionality? Let's say again, say dysfunctionality. And then Living the Supernatural Life. Powerful. Then we have Break Free here, and then we have Scent of Water, and we have, uh, Wedlock here. Then we have, uh, Smokescreen written by Apostle Lazarus, and then we have, um, wow, Clash of Thrones. I love this material, Clash of Thrones. Then we have, um, Audacity of Faith. Then we have Living for Insight. Sorry, sorry, sorry, I beg your pardon. Insights for Living, I beg your pardon. Insights for Living. And then powerful, I went through this, I was going through it. What I Teach My Mentees. You know, many times people don't read and it's very, very unfortunate. But I want to encourage you because— please, sir, let me have this one. One of the things I want to encourage also at the Global Leadership Conference is for people to cultivate a reading culture. Are you following me? And there are people that God has given portions. He has given specific messages, not just to a particular local church, not just for the Light Nation now. He's an apostle to the body of Christ, and God has ordained him for such a time as this. He told me yesterday, I said, Papa, he said, I came here burdened for this meeting, and I believe that burden will be communicated tonight. I want us to receive with Jesus' joy tonight God's choice servant, apostle Femi Lazarus Victor. Please celebrate him, celebrate him. I celebrate you.
Amen. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus. Can we lift our hands and just give Jesus praise in a moment?
Thank him.
Let's thank him for what he's doing specifically in the global church at this point. Let's give him praise.
Let's give him honor.
He deserves all praise, all glory, all adoration. Let's thank him for the privilege to hear the things we've been hearing. Let's thank him. Thank you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying.
Hallelujah!
Please, just before you sit, can you please help me? Papa and Mama, help me. If that's the best you can do, then I'll be disappointed.
Amen.
They are embodiment of hard work. And grace. I honor you, sir and ma. Thank you for the privilege. Please help me honor them again. Ah, please, can we be seated while I say a few things I want to say? You know, um, when Dr. Ife was ministering, then it occurred to me— you know, every time I remember new things—
just occurred to me that actually when God gives us instruction, we should obey.
Um, the first time I knew about Papa was through the bulletins. Yes, I was in Anguru Bus. You know Anguru now?
Ah, you know the white buses?
And then yes, Lagere and Sabo Lagere. And someone had just dropped the bulletin in some of those confines, and I was like, who is this? Um, that edition was talking about the vision with Kenneth E. Hagin, that edition.
And it just stayed in my heart, and God would later speak to me specifically to come.
You know, and it's been the best decision ever. The best decision. Best decision. It is God who set the solitary in families, so you can't choose a spiritual lineage psychologically. Amen. Again, let me honor Papa and Mama. Femi Lazarus.
I, I almost sent for my wife, to my wife to send from Abuja one of my old notes.
I had recorded the prophecies and things that he said over my life. We are beginning to see the manifestations of those things.
Amen.
I don't just receive him as my spiritual father but as my prophet, and it has worked for me.
Amen.
So before coming, I had to find time to listen to every speaker. If the media can help me for the shaking, I had to find time to listen to every speaker. On the flyer, and, um, so that I can have a foretaste. And your message was the first I listened to online. I want to thank you, sir, for the fire, for the words, for— and this morning I was connected also, praying along, listening to Pastor Awolowo. Thank you, sir. Good to see you again, always, for that powerful word.
And Dr.
Ife tonight, I mean My burden in the course of this conference have been conveyed here and there in bits and pieces by different speakers, and I'm just going to be building on those stuffs. Um, it is clear that the agenda of God for this meeting is beyond what we are seeing.
I mean, look at the people seated outside.
And I know that by this time next year we are in thousands because of the weight of what God is doing through this meeting. I want to honor all of God's servants seated. My amazing Dr. Olojuba and Pastor Bumi, thank you for always— and Pastor Fola Motoshore, my wonderful brothers. Pastor Sam, thank you so much. Please help me honor them. So, I mean, I just have to stop at that point so that my time will be well maximized.
So in the course of this teaching, I will say some hard things.
Are you ready? This is supposed to be leadership conference, so it means that We shouldn't mind his word, mind his word, not in any way. You don't mind his word. Amen. All right, praise God. Father, we receive insight again that your word will come to us expressly. Help our minds that rapid decisions will be made. In the name of Jesus, we give you praise. In Jesus' mighty name, amen. All right, I want to start, right? Um, my teaching is going to be— I'm going to take a different turn just a bit. And because I'm also coming up tomorrow morning, um, how to make a difference. Probably if I can get the mic taken. And the reason is because this is being broadcasted on Ambience TV, so there are thousands around the world. We want to make sure that they hear. Amen.
Let's give the media a big hand.
That's, that's the most—
one of the most difficult department Because sounds won't tell you when they will fail.
And all right, so praise God.
Can we pray in tongues for just a minute?
I want to make sure I have a seamless flow, um, while they help me.
Just let's pray in tongues for just a minute.
We bless your name, Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
When Bishop gives you his mic, Father Lord, I don't want to be a bishop.
Amen. It was a lot of struggle before accepting the apostolic office.
I was praying that he would not give me his mic.
Amen. So I'm going to be teaching on the subject How to overcome inertia, and I'm going to explain what that means.
How to overcome inertia.
Yesterday, um, while Pastor was ministering, he, he quoted and said something really profound about, um, Newton's law of motion.
And, um, when Newton said that all objects remains in a uniform state of motion, or what we also call state of inertia, that's the state of no activity of restlessness—
I'm sorry, of rest. Sorry, he said, unless compelled to change by an external force acting on it. And that already means that time doesn't change anything.
Decisions change things. Time doesn't change anybody's life. Nothing gets better with time until there's an input into time. To bring notable change. All right, so the difference between here and there is not time, it is actions. And someone said, um, that I'm here today doesn't mean I will not be there tomorrow. You know, some motivational speech that are different between here and there is T, which means time. I bet you that with time what you will experience is sorrow, depression, anxiety, and problems. So how do we— and this is the point— how do we move from point A to point B? How can I move from knowing where I should be? You know, it is possible to know where you should be, but you don't know how to get there. And sometimes that's where the issue is, because we cannot make a difference in the world if we have not made a difference in our own lives. That's my focus. My focus is you. How do you start by making a difference in your own life? How do you move beyond where you are? You, you have beautiful dreams, fantastic inspirations. You know what God will have you do. I know you have powerful colors in your mind, things you want to do with your life. You sit down, you dream, and all that. You see, let me tell you a story.
Um, years back, living in Asherifa here in Ilife. I remember one night, there was an event of that night, but before that night, I had 2 people staying with me in the room.
Pastor Fola knows the room, he's been there, and the Abdos. Okay, so we had 2 people stay with me in the room.
One of them was my friend who had extra year, 2 extra years that became 3 extra year, and finally finished.
Then the other one was another friend who had extra year that became second extra year, plus me and then one of my boys.
So at some point, people were finding their career path in life, and I could see that my friend, when he wakes up in the morning, you struggle with him to pray for 5 minutes, he won't join you.
What he does is that he picks his phone and goes on Instagram and is just sampling TY Bello's pictures, like, and sometimes you see him almost in tears and saying, my God, TY Bello, what's this woman doing? Amazing work.
And it's just analyzing and analyzing.
And the other guy who happened to be a popular filmmaker and actor in this country, you know, just see him go online also and he's just checking the works of Kunle Afolayan. Saying, ah, this guy is doing amazing. And, and guess what? They were doing that in the room and we're all broke.
That was the reality of the room. One time he saw that there was an—
there was going to be a training in Lagos organized by TY Bello to train young and upcoming, up-and-coming photographers.
Graphers.
So he paid for it. And you see, never argue when it comes to funds for training.
Never argue.
Don't join people to make all those noise. People can give you the weight of 50 years experience in one meeting. So it's priceless, okay?
It's priceless.
So, um, he went there, and by the time he got there, despite paying for the event, the room was filled. So they said he couldn't enter.
He had to travel from Eleife to the place and say he couldn't enter, the room was filled.
So he hung on the window and was peeping into that place.
And by the time T.Y.
Bayo was done, um, she just left. And while she was passing, she saw someone hanging on the window trying to see what was going on inside. So she asked him to come and say, what's your name? And I remember before he went for that trip, he was on Google checking for one gift that TY Bello couldn't reject. He was just checking what's the gift.
So he found out that she love, um, um, what's it called now, these are notebooks.
So he bought it. So he spoke with her and said, well, he came late, came all the way from Ile-Ife, but however, I bought this for you. You see, the gift of a man makes room for him. You know, when the Bible mentioned that gift in that scripture, it's not talking about your gift as in your skill. He's talking about the gift you bring in hand to present. Are you aware that there are people that they are not broke, but what you give them shows them that you are different? Because bulk of those they have around them— and Pastor was talking about that profoundly this morning— that when you hang around the great, don't look for what you can get but what you can give. You know, I was in our church in Eleife, um, in Ibadan before coming here, and, um, So usually had people outside, and there was a boy who called Matthew. God said, so I know one thing I can do for you. I said, yeah, calm down. So you have already asked this for a lawyer. Say there's something I want to do for you, this, this. What do you do? I was tired.
So he said, I'm an architect, I'm this, I'm that. And I looked at him, he's a man who has been waiting for opportunities.
I said, send him a picture, let him design it. So Exactly like that, he got the gift, and TY Bello would later close the door and sit with him alone to reteach him what she has taught them for 1 hour. And after that, he just asked of his name, never called him, didn't— they didn't even exchange numbers, never said anything till after about 2 years. 2 years later, He would later receive a call from a young lady who just introduced herself as Atingbi Nkwé and said, I work with TY Bello, and then she has asked that I should call you. And what's the message? I've looked around for photographers in this country who really carry my spirit and can work with me. I found none but you. Come work with me, and if your life doesn't change, resign. Now, you can leave a mark in people's hearts and they never say a word for 2 years. Whether good or bad, but something can spring up from that that can change your life. The other boy will later also still get to act in a movie.
I don't want to mention names. Um, what's it called? His favorite producer. So while you are in a season that everything looks dark.
I remember that night, one night in that room, that there was no food. Nobody had money to buy pure water. Usually I try my best to maneuver, you know, as like the father of the house, try my best, you know, something must happen. But that night, nothing happened.
If I was going to meet Mama Ada who sells stuffs, um, the right, we are owing her.
If I was going to talk to Mommy Femi Lazarus selling something the other side, we are owing her. So how do you want to take credit on credit? So we sat down that night and prayed and said to ourselves, we might not have been able to change what is happening tonight. But if this ever repeats itself again in our lives, it's our choice. You see, where you are might be painful, but you will never leave where you are physically until you get out of that place in your mind. It is the mind first.
It is the mind first. Now you see, Hey, there's a story I'd like to show to you, very interesting story. Um, for sake of time, because of the loads of things you want to share, I just quote, um, 2 Kings chapter number 7 from verse 1 to 7. 2 Kings 7, verse 1 to 7. The word of prophecy had gone out that by this time tomorrow a measure of wheat will be sold for a shekel, a measure, and then the barley, um, 2 measures of barley, and so on like that.
The Bible said the man on whose arm the king leaned, and that man was speaking based on his economic understanding. He said, even if God opened the windows of heaven, might these things be?
So the prophet told him the implication of what he had said.
But this was how the prophecy got fulfilled. It didn't get fulfilled by those who said amen. It got fulfilled by those who moved. You can say amen to a prayer and not be part of the fulfillment.
Leper sat down at the gate of the city and just questioned their reality.
Hold on a minute, why sit we here till we die? Listen, where you are in life, in the organization you're building—
because I want to speak to us as builders—
is not necessarily a function of God. That is, God is not necessarily responsible for your current level. You You see, the day you admit that, you're on your way out of that situation. That God is not necessarily the one responsible for where I am, but he can take advantage of it to help me. Because you cannot believe God for a change if God is the one holding you down. One of the— one The worst way to conclude, which we see in those who are unbelievers, is to believe God is responsible for everything. It's usually African that someone has died untimely and you say God brought it. Meanwhile, if this road had been repaired, this fellow ought not to have died. And you know, because we are a very religious continent, no one benefits from the religion in our continent. Like the politicians. Why? Because you say God brought all the predicament, so you can't demand for change. Let it sink. God is real, but is not necessarily responsible for my situation.
Our church was demolished in Abuja this year.
God is not responsible. God didn't do it. But God can take advantage of it if we respond well. And somehow, because my wife was shocked at my reaction, said, you know, I'm kind of glad. So I've been teaching these things and I've been teaching for years. Let's experience it so that people can wake up. Money will always come. So it depends on how you look at it. Just think about it. God is not necessarily responsible for the result I'm getting.
When those guys said, why sit we here till we die?
And they began to move, we saw that God took their posture. As they sat, God sat. When they moved, God moved, so much so that the Assyrians were hearing the noise of chariots.
What was that?
Lepers, they were handicapped, their legs, that's their greatest disadvantage. And as they were moving, God amplified their steps. Listen, 0 times 1 million is still 0. It doesn't matter how spiritual you are, if you will not give God to bless, you'll be blessed but you'll be stranded. It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter how spiritual you are. Nigeria—
God is not—
oh, this is going to be a serious one now.
God is not responsible for where Nigeria is.
Are you aware?
You know, I was in an airport And I was just ranting. I just kept telling those with me, I said, ah, what have we done wrong in Nigeria? Who did we offend? And if you look at our situation, you, you discover that it is not an isolated case. Somehow what is happening in Nigeria is similar to what is going on in Uganda. It's similar to what's going on in Tanzania, similar to what is going on in Cameroon, in Ghana.
Why?
It's a structured way of thinking that we have now associated with the continent, that an average person from the continent believes that lack of excellence, all right, is just a function of our black nature, that once a man is dark-skinned, he ought to be thinking lesser than his capacity. So we have bettered painful results because of that conclusion. And I wrote a book years back, and I've tried to explain this, um, meet, um, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and all those things that Africa cannot conclude that she's where she is because she was cursed.
We are where we are because that's what we have chosen as a people. So I'm, I'm assuming that we are not just church people.
By the implication of this teaching, all right, it cut across. Is that okay now? So I'm going to be speaking to our minds in terms of building organizations and all those things that we do. All right, so stay with me.
Are you still there? So I just wrote a few thoughts here, um, um, that will bless your mind. Um, one of the most frustrating realities of life is knowing where you ought to be going and not knowing how to live where you are at the moment can be very frustrating.
You know where you should be, but you don't know how to leave where you are. You know what should be, but you don't know how to change it. Knowing where you should be and not knowing the steps to take to leave your current situation into where God wants you to be—
you cannot sufficiently make a difference in the world if you cannot make a difference in your life. Now you look at the Book of Daniel chapter number 1, verse 8. Um, Dr. Ife quoted that scripture. Daniel proposed in his heart that he will not defile himself with the king's portion. Very powerful. That's, that's a Christian decision where you decide we are different from the world.
Have you said, is that good? That's a good decision, right? That we're not going to mix with them. Is that okay?
And defile ourselves and be corrupted.
Is that fantastic?
Oh yes.
That you've gone to an organization, you're working And you feel it a proper thing when you come in the morning, probably before you do all those things, you sit at your table and then you say some words of prayer. That kind of make you distinct, right? But if your spirituality doesn't produce tangible result, people will not be attracted to your God.
I had the privilege of pastoring quite early and leading campus fellowship.
And I told those who work with me that the fact that we represent Jesus means that we can't afford extra year, because those who represent him should not.
All right, but let's leave that. Just in case you're writing your papers extra, write with grace.
Is that okay?
Write with grace.
So I'm going to leave that.
But you look at the result of Daniel's consecration. In Daniel chapter number 1, verse 19. Daniel chapter number 1, verse 19.
And you see, at this point you might want to close your note a bit so I can talk to you. How many of you are aware that we're in a generation with so many questions? They are questioning many realities. They are beginning to question that the idea of plenty churches without national transformation is not adding up. They are beginning to question the idea of so many revival meetings with yet many corruptions. Is not adding up. They are questioning the fact that we are so religious and yet backward. That is not adding up. The question on ground for this generation is different from the questions the fathers answered, because the father ministered to a generation that had no technology. The world was not a global village. They didn't have many questions. They couldn't see what was going on in that country to compare. Now we are seated in church, and right where you're seated, somebody is fact-checking what you're saying. So we are dealing with a generation of facts. And listen to what I'm saying. I'm saying that what was wisdom to a generation will not be foolishness to another, because this generation is a lot different. So it means we must know how to export from the church the result of this depth of spirituality in a way that affects the world. We are not even sure if the church will be part of societal transformation. We are not even— we've not agreed on something as basic as that. Are you aware that the Constitution of America is built on the revival of the nation in the era of the church? That many of the fantastic nations you talk about, what you see today, were built by those who knew God. How have we not been able to do that in Africa, particularly in Nigeria? My heart burns, and we repeat the cycle, um, 2 years' time now, then we're going to pray, or there will be prophecies that the president will also not finish his tenure. Then he will finish, he will finish, then he will retire, and, and when he gets old, he will die well, and the people who have been whatever can be wasted. Because when you go the route of religion and you are not paying attention to real transformation, it's a well that you not get water from, nothing from it.
And you discover even as you read through the pages of scriptures that God is not a God of mediocrity. He's not a God of mediocrity. All right, so pay attention to me today. Are you still there? So you look at the result of Daniel's consecration in Daniel chapter number 1, verse 19. And the king communed with them in— all right, with them, and among them was found none like Daniel, Ananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.
Therefore stood they before the king. Listen to this. If I bring someone here who is speaking Chinese, it doesn't matter how deep what he's saying is. He might be speaking, but he's not communicating. When you speak, you mutter words. To communicate, you must make sense. It is the one whose language you speak that you are communicating to. If you notice, you've been standing before mere men, you are speaking their language. If you want to stand before kings, speak the language of kings.
That's the way it works.
And painfully so, money is not the solution to poverty. You see, I understand that there because of the predicament of the nation, there's so much emotions around the subject of poverty, wealth, particularly if said by the church.
So I'm not going to get into all that. But if you look at Luke chapter number 4, um, from verse 18, that's when Jesus was quoting what Isaiah said about him.
Look at what he said God has anointed him to do to the poor. He said, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. I thought he would have said that God has anointed him to give money to the poor, but he said to preach the gospel to the poor. All right, we can understand that contextually, but this is it. It means that the reason for poverty is certain knowledge gap. When the knowledge comes There'll be change. Let me tell you this, and that's why you cannot do empowerment by just throwing money around. Until you change people's mindset, you can't change their life. Pick anybody from the street and see.
Listen, somebody was a beggar on the street in America. This happened in Los Angeles.
Won their jackpot, all these casino jackpots, about $50 million. $50 million jackpot. You know what that is? $1 million is 1.6 billion. So think about that, do the math. And I think in about 2 years or 1 year time, he was back to that same place again, begging. Money is not enough to solve poverty problem without information. Let me show you another scripture. Proverbs chapter number 24. Proverbs chapter number 24, we read from verse 3 quickly. Proverbs 24:3, true wisdom is an house builded by understanding established. Yes, verse 4, by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with precious and pleasant riches. Meaning that there are certain information that when you have now, your pocket will change. It will. When we're coming for this meeting, one of our pastors was asking me, he said, what's the secret of finance in ministry? Then it occurred to me that if I'd answered that question few years back, my answers would have been good but not good enough. I told him, good you pray, it's good you know how to fast as touching the change, it's good you know how to do all those things, but God will only pour at the level of the assignment. If you refuse to in faith step up. God wants those who want to do bigger things for me, for him. If you won't do it at that level, you'll get results at the level you are doing it. And listen, it will— you will be small, for his mercies endure forever.
I mean, we've had profound teachings in this meeting because I'm remembering again when Pastor was in ministry yesterday.—
he quoted Exodus chapter number 13, verse, um, 17, if I'm correct.
Exodus 13:17.
It was God— the Bible said God could not lead the Israelites through the way of the Philistines, lest peradventure they will see one upon— God, God, look at— listen to what I'm saying. This is a very— because you may know what the secret is now. God look at them and said, I would have loved to give them this instruction, but they would— they don't have the spine They don't have the audacity to finish this one. You know, the most dangerous person to counsel is somebody who will not finish doing what you have said, because if he fails, you are responsible for it. If the fellow will do it halfway, you are responsible. They will call you. He say, Pastor says to do this. God look at them, he couldn't lead them through the way of the Philistines.
Why?
They will see war and turn back. Now look at Deuteronomy chapter number 8 from verse 2.
Deuteronomy 8:2. Now, now, this will marvel you.
Have you opened your Bible? And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these 40 in the wilderness. The God who couldn't lead them through the way of the Philistines led them through the wilderness. Both of them are divine leading, meaning that God speaks based on his estimation of you. You can see, we are not saying what you have heard is not God. Are you following what I'm saying? It is God you heard. It is God, but he has he sized you up and he knows what you have spine for. And he says, in order not to give him or her trouble, oh yeah, go and do this one. But if you prove that you can fight, you say, okay, this is what I would have wanted to say. Now you think this is just a myth until you read the book of Numbers, that 40 years after they have left Egypt, when they got to the entrance of the promised land and they saw the Anakites they cried, now let's return back. 40 years later, Egypt would have been shocked that you left 40 years ago, we have moved on. 40 years ago. Because I mean, I'm glad Papa introduced because that book was written with tears. You may not understand. God brought them out of Egypt. God could not bring Egypt out of them. Let me tell you this. So it means that as touching your life, there are certain things that God cannot do.
Selah.
For 40 years, one time Moses was talking, God said, let's, let's Look at what God said. God said, let's wipe them out, I will start something new with you. Moses said, if you do this, he said, we'll become mockery among the heathen. They will say you were able to bring them out of the promised land, out of Egypt, but you were not able to take them into the promised land. Ah, God look and say— Bible said God repented. They frustrated God. You know, one time they were asking for— they said, we remember the cucumber. The melon, the garlic that we— all right, because I always ask, what is there to miss about cucumber? You know what they were remembering? Free food. Listen, Egypt is easy compared to the promised land. In Egypt you obey. In Egypt they make decisions for you. They make laws for you. You do the unskilled labor. You are not part of the skillfulness that builds the land. But in the promised land, you have to learn statecraft. Permit me to tell you that smallness can be easily managed.
Are you still there?
I've seen Christians— I'm still bringing thoughts, I'm going to get into my— this is my introduction. So I've seen Christians say things like, you know, this person's music is spreading around the world because it is Illuminati. Have you heard those kind of things? Like the Beyoncé, Jay-Z? Listen, let me tell you this. About the devil. Not really in his defense, I'm not his agent, but a bit of disclaimer on his behalf. If the devil promotes people who doesn't have excellence, he will lose credibility. There are people that God cannot use, and if you take them to the devil, devil say, I don't want. They are not profitable for the kingdom of light. And the kingdom of darkness because of the way they have chosen to think. All they can be at best is either casualty or part of the crowd. You look at it, the precedents, the, the, the stops are there in the Bible. There are people that— you see, the devil— go and check, the devil doesn't use ordinary people. Jezebel was no ordinary woman. True, you blame Delilah that Samson pillowed his head on her laps. At least Delilah knew how to present herself.
Talk to me now, huh?
Mention names now. I said the devil used this person, the devil, the devil used them because they were useful. The devil too did not use any everybody. Even the devil has taste. All right, so that said, because it is important, just in case you were planning to be an agent of the devil, just to tell you that the criteria is high too. The criteria is high. It's a tough one. You know, I was teaching our people, um, from Matthew chapter number 4, that how many people did the devil tell to bow in the Bible? Just Jesus. If you like, carry, go and bow 1 billion times. There are people that their bowing means nothing to the devil. You're already bent. It makes no more sense, you know. So you don't get to say this Jay-Z Illuminati. Let me tell you something. There's a culture in Africa where the result is bad as long as you are not the one getting it, as if money is only good in your own hands. And let me—
okay, I'm going to talk about this some other time.
You know, darkness is smart. Let me give you an instance so you can understand. See, look up. The devil is one person.
Are you aware?
Are you aware that part of The reality about the devil is that he's not omnipresent.
Talk to me now.
Okay, so what that means is that by the time we are all before the judgment seat of Christ, many of the things that people will say, the devil made me do this, you will win many of those cases.
Talk to me.
He can only be in one place at one time. So how is such a creature, um, a being that can only be in a place at a time influence the world this much? It's the power of systems. In like manner, you have just one life and you can only be in one place at a time. As I'm talking to you now, our School of Ministry is going on and people are joining from different nations. I just checked on my phone, check the class, so that lecture is going on. Somebody somewhere is reading my book somewhere in the world. Someone somewhere is reading something I've written. Someone somewhere is interacting with my video. Someone somewhere is listening to my message. Last year we were the topmost podcast in Africa. Um, countries I've never been to. South Africa, up till now I've not been there. Kenya, till now I've not been there. And I was speaking to a bishop in Kenya, and he couldn't believe that I've never been to Kenya. How come you've never been to Kenya and your message is doing much in Kenya? Someone called me from India and said, do you have an idea of what your message is doing. I said, I've not been there, but I know before that start—
and this is the first time I'm going to share that—
I got to a season that the pain I was feeling in my soul, that there is much more, was greater than— I'm not— I don't know what women go through when they are laboring. Both of you would know, you are the doctors, she has been through it. But it was like the pain of childbirth. I would tell my wife, take the key of this room till I knock. I couldn't cope, I will cry and weep because people think that maybe our ministry is about media strength, but I'm telling you something now. We began to pray 9 hours over 90 days. One did two, and I'm not telling people, you go and pray. No, I was in the forefront praying extra, will not be able to sleep at night. Something must be born.
And pshh.
But beyond the prayer too, It started having certain preparations. I remember sacking— because when you work with me, one of the things that you are bound to receive at some point or the other is to be sacked. You can be sacked at least 5 times in a year because I'm always upgrading, and we'll forgive you but meet up with the new criteria. And I remember calling our media guys and I said to them that take editing of Don't worry. Take editing of videos as a prophetic assignment. That many things have been taught. What does God want his people to hear? So it means don't just be good on the system. Pray 2 hours first. Look at this.
There's a revelation I got, and that's what I want to show you.
And that revelation changed everything for me. Isaiah chapter number 60 from verse 1 and 2. Isaiah 60, verse 1 and 2. Look at it. Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and behold—
I'm sorry—
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. That's not where I'm going. Verse 2. Now look at the first statement. For behold what? The darkness shall cover the earth. That's where I'm going. Darkness must not know how to cover more than light. Darkness understands systems. When the devil wants to take a territory, he's looking to cover.
One of my mentees called me.
He was starting a ministry in a place, so I said to him, I said, don't go with hook, cast a net. We must learn the secret of covering. So while I was praying these prayers and I was seeing how that, you know, the devil is doing many things, many things, many things, I still had questions. How do we, how do we, how do we, how do we? So one of those times I was asking the question, oh Lord, How do we run the kind of ministry that we can minister to the whites, to the blacks, to Caucasians, to people from different divides, different areas of the world? And God said, okay, let me ask you a question. There's something you like.
You like boxing. I said, yes.
He said, you are in Africa. I said, yes. So how come you have to stay awake to watch a boxing match that they want to fight in Madison Square Garden? How were they able to communicate that interest to you? You are in Nigeria. Coca-Cola started in Atlanta. How is it one of the most popular, if not the most popular brand in the world? They understand how to penetrate. Many believers know how to start, but we care less about how to spread. Let me tell you this: spreading will never happen as a means of coincidence. You must be intentional about it. You must build structure for it. You must go for it. You will not move from 1 to 10 without a plan.
You need to have a plan, and you must have a system, a functional system, a functional structure. Are you following what I'm saying here?
You know, one of the scriptures we like to quote is, 'Out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water.' How many of us know that scripture?
Talk to me now.
We even sing it in songs. 'Out of my belly,' right, 'will flow rivers.' But you know that civilizations are built around bodies of water. Many of the ancient civilizations were built around bodies of natural resources. So you see more developed clans around the water. So it means that if a river of living water is flowing from me, people shouldn't just fall under the anointing. Somebody should have a job because of what is flowing from me. Somebody should— somebody's family should be sorted.
Let me tell you this, and I'm one man that understands that scripture, so I need to tell you.
In our ministry, we take my teachings like gold.
Oh yes, and I'm saying this because I'm here.
Well, I've told myself I'm not going to talk about any secret until maybe indoors. So as I'm teaching, many departments sit on it. It is gold. What determines where I go is if they have the capacity to record what I want to teach. If you can't record it, they will not even tell me that such meeting exists. Because from one meeting you can get excerpt. That's the least you can get. From one meeting you get messages. From one meeting you get books. I taught 2 series, um, 2-part series in Lobok and called my team, sit on that series. So when I come, I'm going to expound it. So jobs are created not because I'm the best teacher, but because I know the value. And because I know the value, all my people now know the value. If you don't know the value, nobody will know it for you.
The way you carry your calabash is the way they will carry it for you.
Am I correct on that?
All right, stay with me. Are you still being blessed?
Yes, sir.
So I understand the importance. We, we're starting a tech hub where we have web designers and front-end designers, and there is a digital ministry man and all the designers, because we just saw that the future of my teaching is not YouTube. Earlier this year or late last year, I pulled out of a social media platform, and that's how we're going to be doing every now and then. Forget about the millions following. We are going to build our platform because we understand that if the thing is rich, the world will look for it. God has called us to be builders. Because if you take advantage only of what the world is building, soon they will censor you out of your calling. And it's just a matter of time, because I mean, we, we have something synonymous to what they do in Egypt. We are just beneficiaries. We like to benefit from what they do. Oh, this is what they do. I, you know, I was just thinking, okay, now it's AI. Hope you know that from the moment we enter the world of AI, The paradigm has shifted again. You don't know entirely. That's an entire civilization on its own. What that means is, if you are not learning, you don't— because, because you see, look at what I'm saying. With just one AI tool, my messages can be interpreted over 190 languages. You don't know, and you don't even have to be there. It will spread there. Because they need it. So it means that if we are smart as business owners, as heads of organizations, we need to start training our people in the science of artificial intelligence, because those who know about it will be the gold tomorrow.
Sela. I'm going to take 15 more minutes. So I can— are you still there?
The devil knows how to cover. He understands systems.
And I told you that if the devil promotes people who lacks excellence, he will demarket himself.
He will lose value too. Even the devil is concerned about his brand. We run business.
Someone told me to pray over a chin chin something something that she was making.
So I said, no, bring the chin chin. So I collected the chin chin and I said, first thing first, Papa knows me so well. I said, I can't eat this chin chin.
Femi Lazarus.
Say, Femi, it looks like someone died. We know you love God. It is not you call it Maranatha, Chinchin. Many Christians don't know the power of nomenclature, that your brand is not just about your logo, but what comes to our mind when we see you. Yes, so important. You're a walking brand, so it matters. You know, sometimes I get worried Femi Lazarus. Go and check. You will never see anybody who is influential in life in the comment section dragging anybody. You know why? They understand the power of their names. Sela, it's because you have not placed importance on your name. That's why it can be everywhere. If you know the power of your name, all right, it will not be everywhere. You'll be careful what he comes on. You watch it. I have loads of people who have written books and say, come, I write the foreword, I know what that means. You see, listen, it is not humility if you don't know who you are. You sound humble till you are finished. Sound so humble. And you know, when people are always asking, what's the secret? And you're saying it's grace, you cannot be transgenerational ineffective.
You can't be.
What you are telling is grace. We know it is grace, but there are certain things that that grace taught you to do. Teach them.
That's the secret.
Are you still there?
You know, one of the— okay, don't worry, stay with me. So I said something here.
The devil knows how to cover.
Darkness understands that. All agents of darkness are smart.
Read 2 Corinthians 10 from verse 3 and verse 4 in Message translation. You'll be amazed. Look at how philosophies are established. Look at the science.
I wrote some things here, all right? Look at the science, um, look at the philosophies behind LGBTQ.
You know, we were taking a walk in a museum in Houston and I saw a man, this a middle-aged man, 45, 50, a man and was dancing and shaking his bum bum, and you could tell. So I stood there and I was looking at him. By what spirit? I mean, something educated him, and whatever did that was smart. Packaged it in movies, packaged it in songs, packaged it in write-ups till it became a societal orientation. And that's what we must understand. We cannot dismantle structures without structures. We can't dismantle, dismantle cultures without something more intense. So there are certain things that we are not even ready for. You would never see any billboard for pornography. Yet it is spreading. Tell me you don't know about that. You never see any billboard that we advertising here, but yet they are ravaging lives, systems, structures. You know, one time God warned me. We'll be running the service, people won't know what to do. I'll be watching them, so I was doing something here, and I just keep consoling myself that once I hold the mic to teach, everything will be fine. God said you will teach yourself out of relevance. Let me tell you something, you want to build a transgenerational life structure structure. Are you following what I'm saying?
All right, so I said look at global agendas like LGBTQ, the atheist agendas, agnostic agendas.
Look at the corruption in big pharmaceutical sexual complex.
Look at the influence of pornography in the life of people, young and old. Look at the grip of it in the next generation.
Look at the impact of music. Look at the lyrics. Pay attention to what they are communicating. They understand coverage. Christians must go back to the drawing board to ask, what's the wisdom behind coverage? How do we spread the influence of the kingdom?
How do we communicate this to the next generation?
How do we carry this in a way that the gospel is interesting for everyone?
There are a few things I've written for us to note as touching overcoming in Asha.
I'm going to continue, don't worry, tomorrow. Number 1: It is not everyone who is in a bad situation that is aware.
Mama spoke about that.
It is possible that everyone else knows that you are where you ought not to be, but the only person who is not aware is yourself.
Celebrate your small wins. Celebrate every level you find yourself, but know when to dust yourself and move.
Don't over-celebrate.
Number 2: Nothing will change about your experience until your thinking change.
You cannot move on the outside until you move first on the inside. You know, someone asked me and said— I've had the privilege of standing, oh, before or with notable people. I mean, people have probably always looked forward to meeting very notable people. And someone said, how do you do that without fear? Say, you are just so bold. I said, no, I rehearse it in my mind till fear dies. I do lots of rehearsals in my mind. I stand up, my wife knows, and just walk around because Listen, it don't just— let me tell you this, it is tricky to watch a master at work. What that means is that someone who has mastered what he's doing, if you assume that the person's secret is what you see on the outside, you will fail. All right, do you understand what I'm saying? You fail because watch— don't worry, you can watch Bishop ministering Okay, I guess it's there.
Thank you.
