HARVEST SUMMIT '24 DAY 2 | DR. DELE OSUNMAKINDE | APS. FEMI LAZARUS | PST. DEBOLA DEJI KURUNMI

The video records the second day of the Harvest Summit 2024, where Pastor Didi (PD) introduces Apostle Femi Lazarus, testifying to his humility, apostolic wisdom, and the divine appointments that led to his presence at the conference. Apostle Lazarus then delivers a multi‑session sermon titled “The Ways of God and the Ways of Men.” He explores the concept of harvest, explaining that harvest is neutral and depends on the seed‑time work and spiritual receptivity. He distinguishes mercy as a divine provision that keeps believers “small” enough to avoid fatal pride. Using a series of biblical passages (Genesis 8:22, Isaiah 55:8‑9, 1 Cor 2, Hebrews 11, Romans 10, John 2, Psalms 82, Deuteronomy 8, Genesis 13, 27, etc.), he argues that the natural man cannot receive the Spirit’s wisdom; only a prepared, obedient heart can. Prayer is presented as the essential conduit for divine insight and intercession, with repeated calls to listen, obey, and act on impulse. He stresses the power of spoken word, obedience (Abraham, Jacob), and the necessity of humility in the face of spiritual warfare. Throughout, he urges the audience to repeatedly listen to the teaching, to give generously, and to stay engaged in the conference’s five‑session schedule. The tone is prophetic, exhortative, and passionately persuasive, aiming to awaken listeners to a higher, spirit‑led life beyond human logic.
Chapters
Yes, it's called mercy, uh, because there are some people, it's when you are 60. So it's better you allow God to deal with those things early. When you are dealing with God, there are certain things you can't get away with, and when you are getting away with so many things, just watch it. We were in Abuja And, um, we just finished a meeting and DDK was also in that meeting. Apostle Michael Ropo just finished ministering our Abuja church on a Sunday morning, and, um, he was already going, then a young man just said, uh, come pray for me. So he came back to the office in Abuja just to pray, and he prayed for the person, and on his way out with his wife he just turned to me and he said, "Sir, the Holy Spirit just told me that I should come and preach at Encounter Jesus this evening." And he said, "That will be the first time we'll have a guest minister. I am going to be the first guest minister." And that was what the Holy Spirit told him. Dilly Kay was also in that meeting. Remember I said no? I said, "I'm not going." I said, "Number one, I'm tired. Number two, I've given 7 people, including my uncle who was a senator at the time, appointment to see me. And number 3, I was traveling the following day and I was going to leave for the airport 5 AM. And as he was praying for the person, I just looked at DDK again. I said, what kind of trouble is this? And I said, because the Holy Spirit is saying I have to go. Then Apostle Oroko came again and said, sir, I want you to just pray about it. I said, no, I don't need to pray about it again. The Holy Spirit just said I have to go, but I know that is going to cause trouble, but I'll go. And I went, and on my way, the Lord said, you will meet someone that— yeah, you are going to honor that invitation, but there is a servant of mine that you are going to meet. And when you meet this person, start paying attention. The good thing about life is that you don't meet some people here, it's better you meet them there. Because at times when you try to meet people when they are out there, you know, the other day we were having a conversation with Pastor Sam Adeyemi and I was telling my wife, I said, imagine it is now we're trying to meet Pastor Sam, or now we're trying to meet Pastor Poju or anyone, I mean, or trying to meet Apostle Selma, or, you know, I remember it was the same thing also when I met Apostle Selma. We were in a party. My wife will remember. And he sat across the table, and the Holy Spirit said, you see this man, invite him. I just said— and I just leaned over, I said, how are you, sir? God bless you. I want to invite you. And it was, ah, by all means, I've heard about you, blah blah blah. And that was it. And that was the same thing. So we went for the meeting and ministered, and at the end of it all Apostle Oroputio said, oh, there's a friend of mine here that I want to introduce to you. And it was Apostle Femi Lazarus. I just said, I said, oh, how are you? And you know, we just greeted briefly and I just left it there. Typically PD, left it there. But that night when I got home, the name kept on ringing a bell— Femi Lazarus. I was firstly fascinated by the name. I said, how can the surname of somebody be Lazarus? Did he rise from the dead? I mean, so, and just like DDK was saying, when they bring it to you, may you receive it, because he came unto his own and his own did not receive him. Imagine I wasn't paying attention. For some reasons, I just said, let me check him out. And I just went on Instagram, Femi Lazarus. Ah, I was like, ah, ah, ah. So I listened to the first clip, just about 2 minutes, then listen to the second clip, listen to the third clip, and I'm like Who is this guy? So I was like, come on, friend. I just saw Pastor Shagun Koka, then I called Shagun Koka. Shagun Koka and I grew up together. I said, who is this guy? And Shagun said, ah, you know, there are some things you can't say. You just say, ah, it's like tongues, you know. And that was how the relationship started. So I just sent him a message. How are you doing, man of God? And we just kept at it, we just kept at it. Once in a while, how are you doing? Without saying much. And on my birthday, he was also here, 26th of March, and he was a guest of Pastor Collins at the time to preach at Shekinah Nation. And the moment I saw that I was coming, I just reached out to him and I said, will you be kind enough to to just honor me on my birthday and just bring a word, and he just agreed. And that was what happened. There's something about him, and that is what you see across the board in all his engagement. Out of all the apostolic voices that God is raising in his generation, he's the man of wisdom. That signature anointing of the Apostolic, which is wisdom. Paul said, as a wise master builder, I've laid the foundation. It's a foundational apostle with the grace of a wise master builder. You cannot listen to Apostle Lazarus and not find that signature of wisdom. And he's also humble to a fault, out of So many that I know, and there's hardly anyone God is raising today that I'm not immediately or remotely connected to in the body of Christ. But I've also seen that he's very humble, the way he carries himself. He was here with us when we were constructing this place. He was one of the people that came to pray here, and I remember after the meeting, we were like, we're going to send you an honorarium. He said, no, ah, Pastor, please. Please, you cannot send me anything, that you are doing a work and now this is not the time for honorarium. And that touched my heart. It's not that it's bad to collect honorarium, don't misunderstand me, so that it doesn't look like those who came and got honorarium are bad guys. That's not what we are saying. But that gesture, that understanding meant so much to me. And it's also a seed. And so when we're planning for this conference also, I just called him and I said, you know what, this is how we do our own conferences. We don't do one session. We are going to come, by the grace of God, and it's going to be— you are going to speak all throughout, through the entire conference. So this is session 1 out of 5. He's back here tomorrow morning, he's with us tomorrow evening, he's with us Sunday morning, and he's with us Sunday evening. So get ready to receive grace and apostleship. I personally respect him, I just love him. We don't really talk often. I know Pastor Collins is his friend. We just interact here and there, but believe me, I respect him, and I just thank God for what God is doing in his life and his ministry. Without much ado, let us receive tonight Harvest Summit 2024, the ministry of Apostle Femi Lazarus.
Femi Lazarus.
Amen, amen, amen.
Good evening, everyone. Hey, my Father, my God. I don't know, I just feel this is a setup. We're preaching after Pastor Didi. Let's give Jesus a big, big, big Amen. Thank you, sir. I just have to say that your humility is humbling. I want to thank you, sir, and thank you, ma. Um, I have no words, just grateful. Thank you, sir. Such a very huge privilege for me to be here. Um, Thank God for platforms, but when you are invited by a man who knows what he's doing, it eats differently. And I want to acknowledge that. I know you are not a careless builder, so to have 5 sessions is— Holy Spirit will still talk to you on my behalf. So amen. And Pastor Didi Ke, good to see you. You know, we ought to have met, but we have met in the spirit.
Yes.
And Pastor Ebisu Olabi. I mean, thank you, ma. Please let me honor them. And to our amazing First Lady, good to see you again, ma. Thank you, ma.
Thank you.
Please let's be seated for a moment. Let's be seated for a moment. I want to especially honor all ministers here present. Permit me to stand on existing protocols, touching that, and all of, all of us here. Amen. Can we lift our hands to God and just thank him? You have a timer. Let's give him praise. Let's, let's, let's do so. Let's honor him. Let's thank him for the opportunity he's given to us. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We give you praise.
Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. So, um, this is my first session, so I'm going to lay foundation. It's been about 3 weeks back to back, so, and I still about 2 more weeks to go. Amen. So permit me, I'm just going to try, um, do something. This is our first summit, and that caught my attention. The word harvest is not a good word. It is also not a bad word. Just like multiplication, it depends on the initial integer. Harvest is good depending on what you did with the season before it comes. Um, it depends on if you sleep during seed time, you'll be jobless during harvest. And the good thing is, as we approach the coming of Jesus, we're also in the season of harvest. Um, harvest of what God has been able to do in our lives. Let me give you an instance. The Bible says that the spirit of a man should bear his infirmities. So it means that there is an harvest of what you do with your spirit. Um, there are people— let me give this illustration. A fellow can look fine, but the defense mechanism in his body, they are weak. It's just at the mercy of one sickness, it will tip over and fall. There are believers that must not face problem now. Because they can't stand. And what that means is that the definition of mercy towards them is that they are small. Are you, are you with me? Mercy is not necessarily a good word also. It, it depends on the dimension you need. For God, mercy was Pharaoh dying. He destroyed Pharaoh and his host, for his mercies endureth. So there is a kind of mercy that you receive that the application is that you are small. You will live longer small. You will not face problem. You want greatness, but your heart is small. Mercy demands that you are small so that you will not take what will kill you. Simple. That's mercy. Are you there? So when you ask for mercy, it depends on what God has achieved in your spirit. That's what determines the dimension you receive. For some people, mercy as a young lady is that you don't need a husband now. That's mercy. And for some guys, mercy is that no woman Except the woman that the intercessors have stopped praying for. Oh yes, you know, there is a kind of person you marry when those who are praying for you have stopped. They need to stop. Waraya didn't die in battle because the battle was fierce. Brilliant men had to withdraw. And you must be careful. You see, my heart is heavy. One way I'm glad that there were 5 sessions. The other part I'm thinking, oh God, help me, because it takes time to establish people. Establishment is not a quick work, takes time. Takes maturing. There are people in church that it doesn't matter the prophet and the intercessors praying for them, they have to still remain at a spot, for his mercies endures forever. Listen to what I'm saying. It is possible that by the way you are living your life, you have proven to God that you are better off small. That is, he has control of you when you are small. And that's what I want to teach you. I want to lay foundation on a topic titled The Ways of God and the Ways of Men. The Ways of God and the Ways of Men is an invitation to the supernatural life. Now look at what the Bible says just before I read my principal text for that. Genesis chapter number 8 22. I still want to speak to the harvest. Genesis 8:22: While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease. That doesn't make grammatical sense. If there is seedtime there should be harvest time, but time was not attached to harvest. You can have seed time and harvest it for life. Let me explain. You see, what God does is not immediate, it's a rope. Let me give an instance. Um, have you seen cases online? Maybe all of a sudden somebody's song just started trending and helpers are looking for the person. There's one particular case of a young boy that all of a sudden his song started trending and people were fascinated about it because of his age. But what they didn't realize was that as at that time The boy was already much older, but when they dropped it on the internet, that was the seed. The harvest can come at any time and you will reap for life. If we pray for speed, we are saying let God hear the voice of a seed speaking on the earth. Without the seed, speed is a myth. You won't have it. There must be something you've done. Trying to bring these things in simple language. I don't like deep stuff. Just get it slow. If we miss the opportunity for God to lay foundations in our lives, even with our deepest intention, the purpose will be defeated. If you miss the opportunity to master prayer, you won't learn it again. There is no such thing as when trouble comes you will pray. If it's not a lifestyle, you still won't pray. Master the word now. You don't prepare in the battle, you prepare for it. Learn the ways of God.
When?
Now.
Now, don't fake it, don't try to look like it. Now look at the scripture I want to show you. Isaiah chapter number 55. Isaiah 55, we start reading from verse 8, then we read to 9. If we can read together, 1, 2, 3, go. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
Yes.
Hold on a minute. So Regardless of how smart we are, there is a part that is deeper, and it's the higher life. Says, for as the heavens are higher than the earth— hope you know that the distance is not kilometers but realms, that the distance between a man of the spirit and a man walking in the flesh is not kilometers. You don't catch up with a man of the spirit with time. You catch up when you switch realms. It's not with time. They can give you 20 years space in a day, you may never catch up. There's the higher life. Listen to what I'm saying. And what the devil is doing is to prepare a curriculum that makes us mundane, a curriculum that makes it difficult to see the ways of God. That you can't see it, you can't perceive it, you can't receive it. He wants to tie your scope to what is predictable, to what can be felt, to what can be touched. And that's the reason why the most important things he fights is our prayer life, because if you can't pray, you can't access the depth of God's heart. There is a part that you only find when you inquire. You have to inquire. You've got to learn the prayer. You see, if you live the kind of life that you know 100% what you should do in every season, you are not living the life of the Spirit. The life of the Spirit leaves you with uncertainties. It's a realm of questions. You will take a step, you don't know when to take the next. He called Abraham and said, 'Leave your father and your mother and follow me to a place I will show you.' When you walk in the spirit, it's a walk of dependence. See, we look like people who have it figured out, but we don't. If you ever hear from God what can make you independent of him, you've not heard God. You didn't hear God. If what you heard can be fulfilled without God. You didn't hear God. It will put you in a path that you will need him to know the next part. So if you have questions, there's nothing wrong with you. I have questions and I don't have answers. I have to pray to know the answer. God tells me move to Abuja. I don't know what's next. I have questions about church growth. I've been in cases that I've tried everything I've taught that worked for others but didn't work for me. God is not going to leave you to formulas. I'm just saying this again so you can understand. Your life is never going to be 2 2. It won't. It will never— you will not have the luxury of having it figured out. You will not have the luxury of being a scholar around God. You will remain a student. Scholars have degrees, certificates. You've mastered this area. What you master is following. Sometimes what worked yesterday won't work today. So you can know God today. Yes, the mystery of a generation is the common sense of the other. It will put you on the path. Please pay attention. The ways of God can't be understood by the natural mind. You can't get it. I want to share stories, but I'm careful because of media. But let me show you a scripture. 1 Corinthians chapter number 2 1 Corinthians chapter number 2. Just follow me carefully. Um, if you're there, say amen. Now let's look from verse 7. 1 Corinthians 2 from verse 7. What I want to do today is to baptize you into foolishness. Is that okay?
Good.
Look at it. But we speak the wisdom of God. What?
In a what?
Mystery. The hidden wisdom of God, which God ordained before the ages.
For what? Meaning that the degree to which you will walk in glory is determined by your access to this wisdom. And the Bible is saying this wisdom is not on the surface, it is hidden.
You have to get that.
It means you must master the science of searching.
Let me tell you, the answers will never always be on the surface. Let me tell you something. I don't— when— because when Pastor Didi was speaking, God just laid this on my heart. You can leave a man who is in his last phase of lack for the one who is in his last phase of wealth. Because you chose by sight. As the wind blows, we hear the sound, we can't tell where it's coming or where it's going.
This is the life we have. You can't predict the tomorrow of a man who has this life. Listen to what I'm saying. A thousand years on earth is like a day before God, meaning that When a man stays in that presence, what takes others decades to get can happen in a week.
You can't sum the man up. Once you can access this wisdom, nobody can sum you up. But your life can be predictable if you don't have access to it. And let me say this to you, I've said this again and again: life is not Nollywood. The fact that you believe that somebody rejected you yesterday, meaning that today they will look at you and marvel— they can look at you and thank God. Are you following what I'm saying here? We don't access this life by pity. That all those who said we can't make it, look at me now. They can look at you now and say, I dodged the bullet yesterday. Are you following what I'm saying? Because at least in Africa, we power our life through pity. And because I know I'm speaking— sometimes we assume that because this is United Kingdom, it is not Africa. Many of us brought Africa here. Are you following what I'm saying here? I've gone to minister in places— let me just keep quiet. Let me keep quiet too. Yoruba says that the walls have ears. Abi? Ah, sorry. Look at it.
The Bible says that this is the wisdom which none of the princes of of this world, which none of the rulers of this age knew. For had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Meaning that the devil is not as smart as you think. There are things beyond this life he can't understand.
It—
there are things he fights because he doesn't understand.
If the devil had known, there are, there are troubles many of us would not have gone through. Because we came with an antidote for those who go through it.
Sometimes his biggest fight is his biggest mistake. You must understand that. Are you following what I'm saying here? This is the wisdom, all right?
We speak this wisdom in a mystery. The prince of this world, they don't have access to what?
This wisdom. Now let me jump a bit and show you something. Still that same scripture, 1 Corinthians 2 from verse 14. Let's go to verse 14. Now this is where you need to pay attention. But the natural man does not receive the things of what? The Spirit. Listen to what I'm saying. The word natural man there simply means a fallen man. This is the man who is not operating in the class God fixed him. He cannot receive the things of the Spirit. I'm not— you, all right, I know there are some Gen Zs here. But there was this phone we were using, right? Sagem, all those, you know, Sagem? Ah, and stuff like that. All right. Wait, I remember the first time I took a girl's picture, just no selfie now. It took a while before phones with front camera came. You turn the back like that and then you get back home and those you capture the wind. Listen to what I'm saying. If I pick my phone now, who has a Nokia Touchlight? Nobody. People don't use that here. Okay. Any smartphone?
Nobody?
People use iPhone. I would love to show you. Let me show you something, all right? If I pick this phone and I want to transfer something to her from this phone without a gadget she does not have coupled in her system, what it takes to receive this, it will be effort in futility. This is the reason why you don't rebuke a fool. You first intercede first, that the fellow will have the receptacle to understand. Are you— he can't receive it because what it takes to take it is not there. The world will never understand the church.
That day will not come because the principles that power us is madness to them.
We are madmen. You don't understand what I'm saying? I said we are foolish men. That's the life we live. It's a very foolish life. If you studied in university, you will not graduate well. You see, how do you read now that somebody was fetching food for herself and her son to eat and die, and the man of God said, make my own face? Will he not trend? Should that man not trend, Insta blog will carry him and say, are you here? That's why I don't like Nigerian prophets. Very, very— you go to Ghana, Ghanaians, and say, I don't like Ghanaian prophets. You go to Australia, I don't like Australian prophets. The life we have received is a life that makes no human sense. Natural people can't receive it. You see, all right, I was going to demonstrate this one time. I, I played I played a Chinese woman casting news and I told our pastors to listen to it. They said they don't understand. I said, you must understand. Listen to what I'm saying. The length of time you spend around something you can't receive doesn't make you receive it. There must be a translation first to have what it takes to receive it. You can master the language, but it is important you have the device. You don't understand. You don't understand. What I'm saying is that if I hang around the Chinese news for 2 hours, the length of time doesn't make it clear. Listen to what I'm saying. If you get people to church and don't get born again, that they are here doesn't mean they have what it takes to receive it. First, we bring them into the life where they have the receptacles first, then they begin to understand. Look, that's what he said in the book of Matthew 3. Now, except you are born again, you will not see.
You first come to do what? To see. Look at it.
The natural man does not receive things of the spirit, big, all right, for they are what?
Foolishness to him, nor can he know them. Because they are what? Spiritually discerned. In the realm where that thing makes sense, is not alive there.
Look at what the Bible says in Message translation of this. I love the Message translation of this. All right, look at this.
This Message.
All right, do you— all right, look at it.
The unspiritual self, just as it is by nature, can't receive what the gift of God's Spirit, there is no capacity.
So it's a capacity matter for them.
They seem like so much silliness. Spirit can be known only by what? So what we are discussing is spirit to what?
Spirit. Let me tell you this, we can be in a meeting and we are sending codes spirit to spirit, and the natural man is there asking what just went on.
You can be—
are you following what I'm saying here?
You can be in a meeting and what you have been trusting God for, just in the moment you scream. They wonder why did you scream? You have just received an intel. Spirit what? Spirit sent passworded with your name on it. This is why we pray, so that in one sermon there can be 100 distributions. That's why we pray. It is not— it's, it's guided statement, guided speech. That there is a word for someone who is coming, whose case I don't know, but the Holy Ghost, who knows the deep things of men, can bring the words for them.
So the more I pray, the less alive I am, the more alive he is.
I have to decrease for him to power me. That's guided speech.
Look at this, go to verse 15 now. All right, God's spirit and our spirit are in open communion.
Yes, spiritually alive, we have access to everything. God's spirit is what?
Doing and can't be judged by unspiritual critics. See, let me tell you this, sometimes they open their mouth and talk from their level. If you come down to their level, they will beat you with experience because they are experienced about their level.
But what do you do?
You maintain the higher life. There is a wisdom that the world can't understand.
I mean, if the devil was that smart, why would he make a move for Jesus to die?
The worst he can do is to waste God's plan. That's the worst. Many of you have cried about what was ordained for your glory, and you were crying and mourning what should produce a ministry, and you sit down and say, let me tell you this, let me show you a scripture so you can understand the danger of being natural. Psalms chapter number 82, let's start reading from verse 4. Psalms 82, go back to, um, King James. Deliver the poor and the needy, freed them from the hand of the wicked. And let me, let me just say something about this. If the quality of life you want to live is daily bread, you see, the danger of that is that there are certain things that are available but not yours. There is something for maintenance. Have you read the Bible and you see stories and stories and stories and stories? Then you get to a certain point and see, and this begets, and this begets, and this begets, meaning that the role they played in the agenda of God is to be alive to beget. And when we get to the part of a man who aligns with God, there's a pause. There is a way you live your life that the only part God can use is your womb. You will just bet the one that God will try to see if he can use. I don't know how to make it simpler. There's, there's a way like that. You just be alive. See, Terence started, God moved with him. It got to a point he stopped. God had to separate the one he wanted to use from the one who stopped. So he doesn't learn his ways. Many families are going through crisis because God has seen that the only way he can salvage the next generation is to separate Terah and Abraham. Femi Lazarus. So I don't endorse something. Deliver the poor and the needy, freed them from the hand of the wicked. Look at verse 5. They do not know, nor do they understand. They walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are out of course. Hold on, just stop there. All right, go to that place.
The foundations of the earth are out of place, not because the devil is powerful but because some don't know. The problem is that you believe it is the responsibility for those in government. Meanwhile, you are the one in power. From the moment the oil came on David's head, Goliath is not Saul's responsibility. Saul might be on the throne, but David carried the oil.
You are complaining about Saul. When will Nigeria change? You who is carrying the oil, it won't change from that seat. Let me leave you. Verse 6 now. I have said you are what? Gods, and all of you are children of the Most High. Look at what he said next. He said, but you shall die like men.
There is the death.
Men die. It's not for sons. It's not for sons. We are powered by a life force that is not flesh and blood.
It is higher.
We have access to information that the world doesn't know. We have access to intel. We have access to things that the world marvels.
They marvel at that life. They can't understand it. How do you find a man called Daniel as a slave and each time you find him 10 times more. That's the life. You don't complain and say, what is happening to us? We the masses, we the masses. You won't get out of the maze like that. That's the life we have. There are things that will never happen to you even though you speak in tongues.
You don't break territories by just contentment. People who are contented don't change narratives. I'm telling you, when I came here the last time, I saw the work Envoy Nation is doing here. The system of this land conditions you to smallness.
You have to have a spirit that refused to take no for an answer.
Let me tell you something: God can love you but not trust you. Your heart is good, but your mind is small. He loves you, but he can't trust his agenda into your hand. You don't have a fighting spirit.
You can't stand anything. You can't stand opposition. You can't— you don't have spines. We become spiritual wimps. God, give me, give me, give me, give me. And God— and you believe God will take all 2024 to give you a man? All 2024? What God can do as God is to provide husband. All 2024, what God finds out is to give you a wife. All of 2024. Say, I came out with this year with my own. Things that will follow you as you stay in plan. Are you still there?
Yes, sir.
Say it again. I refuse to be small in my mind. Say it again, loud and clear.
It's the ways of men, it's the way of God. They don't mix, they don't mix. That's why we stay in the place of prayer. We are powered by this life in our spirit. I have a very strong burden, it's to communicate the word in a way that every believer can engage it and see the result. That the word works. The word works.
The word works. The word works.
God didn't hide the secret of creation from us. Hebrews 11, let's start reading from verse 3. Hebrews 11, turn the Bibles there. Are you still with me or you're tired? Hebrews 11. Oh, praise God! If you are there, say amen. Now look at it. Now, faith— let's start from verse 1. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of who?
God.
So that the things which are seen are not made from things which do appear. This is the raw material for creation, the word, meaning that if we're going to live the life of God, we need to have access to his word. One word can alter your experience. One word, just one word. God tells you, from today I bring upon you the garment of honor. From that moment, even those who didn't hear it cannot afford not to honor you. The world fights for things they can see, feel, and touch.
We strive for the word. We strive for the word. We strive for the word. 'You told me.' He said, 'I'm the one who make— who made ears. I can tell the ears what to hear. I have commanded the Son of Man to hear you speak.' Nobody was there.
You see, you don't even have to announce what God said.
It will announce itself. His word is like pregnancy. You can only keep it for a while. It will shoot out. Yes. Say it again. The word works.
The word works.
Through faith we understand that the world— so my God, let me show you scriptures. Romans chapter number 10. Romans chapter number 10. Let's start the reading from verse 10. Are you still there? For with the heart man believeth unto salvation, unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made, what, unto salvation. Look at verse 9. He said, if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in your hearts that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Look at it. Let's go to verse 17. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by what? The word of God. What he says is what forms the basis for faith in your heart. Faith is not what you claim to have without a word. You see, I've been called on several occasions to— you see, if there's anything that powers my life, I hate losses. This is, this is what it burns in my heart in the place of prayer. My primary ministry is intercession. That's where my teaching ministry comes from. I barely taught a sermon without tears. I can, I, I can, I can feel the pulse of God. I'm not trying to make sense, I'm trying to get people out of a pit. I can feel the pulse. I, I know I hate losses, and that's why when I teach, I try as much as I can to cover so that we don't leave any stone unturned. On several occasions I've been called, please pray for someone, this person has cancer. One of my spiritual daughters told me about the mom that had cancer. I was traveling through that route, I went to the house, I saw the mother laid down on the chair. I called her behind, I said, she's going to die. I said, she's going to die, and it's not the cancer that will kill her, it's Iwu Ipu. She would die. Because how do you place someone where the word is not ministering to the person? Everything this person hears every day is death. The reason why some sicknesses we have success over them as touching healing and not in some, because they have knowledge in the ones that we don't have success in. As touching the power of it to kill, the same anointing that cures headache cures cancer. The reason why one looks tough is your knowledge. It's the same thing. So as we receive the word, and you, you have to master it, you've got to let the word of God dwell in your spirit richly. You have to, you have no choice.
It will bear your infirmities in the days you are weak. You have to allow it. This is the life we've been called to.
Some of the most strategic things have happened in my life happened without plenty talk, just an impulse in my spirit. So when she was talking about the fact that if you get too many confirmations, something is wrong with you, it's so true. And in fact Too many confirmations is a sign that you're already missing the season. Something is going and God is trying to fasten you to it. You've got to learn to respond to impulse. Let me tell you this: people who don't lose seasons are doers. If you will begin to do the things you learn, you'll be amazed at how amazing your journey will become. There are many of you here that God has told, this, this, this that you're doing, I'm calling you into ministry in this area. Said, God, I'm a child. And the season passes. Let me tell you something, that you responded doesn't mean you will get the reward. Let me explain. All right, I just said, Pastor Femi Lazarus, see me in church by 4 PM. I want to give you £10,000. What time? And I included in that message, I'll be traveling by 4:30, so make sure you're in church by 4 PM. And then she has her mobile internet service off. She received that message by 5. All right, is the offer still up?
Gone.
Walk in the Spirit. That's where you get intel from. As he's dropping it, you are picking it.
Be in the Spirit. That's the place of divine wisdom. Walk in the Spirit. Let me tell you this.
Sorry, I have to quote scripture and quote the elders. The elder said it is the one who is not at home that the goat gives birth to one. Do you know what that means? That one is the sign that the goat was pregnant. They've shared it. If you are not walking in the spirit, dividends will be shared behind your back and you are still an heir. It will look like God loves others more than he loves you. Are you following what I'm saying? Let me tell you something. Even as touching resources, you don't need— you don't need any sign. Let me tell you something. I won't mention, I won't give any clue, but let me just give an instance. I came back from church on Sunday so tired. I had a project going on. We have a church structure, almost a billion. Tired, and I was so— God, I need Sundays. I don't take call except heaven will fall. I need to rest. God said to me, don't sleep, somebody will call you now, give him whatever he want. What did God say? Give the person whatever he want. So I said, God, the issue now is that you didn't tell me when this person will call. So I sat down, I was reading, then I kept my phone beside me, then somebody called on WhatsApp. I'm in Nigeria, you are in Nigeria calling me on WhatsApp. What insult! But God said, give him what So I picked the call. The fellow was panicking, say, ah, Apostle, I came to take Holy Child. I'm not in church, say, I'm at home. He said, please, I need to see you now. I say, is it matter of life and death? He said, yes. I said, somebody will get you to where you should meet me. Like, I met the person. The person didn't look like ito. He just said, uh, I wanted to buy a house. And then God said, don't buy the house, my servant is building, go and support the work. So I said I had, I prayed for him, and then he just said, this is my little seed. The rest is history. Let me tell you something, I will show you a scripture to prove what I want to say. John chapter number 2. And what I want to show you now is what has been missing all along. If you get this, something will shift. Are you ready for this? Are you sure? Pay attention. Look at the principles we're going to see here. All right, I feel I didn't tell you the You don't know how powerful the testimony I just shared is because I didn't tell you figures. Let me tell you, that's when I learned that there are figures you don't mention. Let's just leave it, okay? Let's leave it. On the third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
Yes.
And both Jesus was called and disciples to them. You better have connection. I don't know who called Jesus, and he went. It must be serious. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus said unto him, they have no wine.
Yes.
Jesus said unto her, woman, What have I to do with thee?
Mine hour has not yet come. All right, look at the next verse. Look at what the mother did. The mother left him, then said to the servant, whatsoever he says unto you, do what? Do it. Meaning that she understood something, that willingness to obey can bring seasons that may not even supposed to be for now. She knew that once you are willing to obey, will pick it. You don't understand that. Let me tell you something. There are those that are not opening because God has not seen their readiness to obey the instruction he could give you. Let me tell you, look up, look at this. I'm going to continue from here. The Israelites left Egypt. In Deuteronomy chapter number 8, from verse 2, says, you shall remember the way which the Lord your God led you 40 years in the wilderness to prove you, to test you, to humble you, and all that.
Who led them? God. How many years?
40 years.
In Exodus, God said, I could not lead them through the way of the Philistines because they will see war.
And turn back. Hear me, the fact that it is divine leading doesn't mean it is perfect leading. God can look at you and give you the instruction of a man who is not ready for trouble. There are instructions that is for those who can't fight. Greatness comes with fight.
And that Philistines that God saw that they will see and turn back from, it took them 40 years to go and learn how to fight the same fight. Because for them to enter into Canaan, they still have to master what?
Fight.
Those who said, we're like grasshoppers in our sight, so were we in their sight. They are to die. The curriculum of Egypt damages men completely. It doesn't leave you with the propensity for faith. The mother said to them, whatsoever he says, so you do what? Do it. Look at what Jesus said. And there were 6 water pots of stone having the manner of purifying of the Jews, containing 2, all right, or 3 frankincense apiece.
Yes.
Jesus said unto them, fill the water pot with water. And they filled them up, all right, to the brim. Look at what he said. And he said to them, draw out now. Those who fetch were those to draw. It doesn't make sense. You are the one who went to fetch, draw out now and bear to the governor, the most important man in this place.
Go and serve him. That's trouble. There are dimensions you won't see if you play safe. Those who play safe don't change the world though. Somebody asked me and said, Apostle, how do you deal with criticism? How do you cope? We gym with it. Gym with it. Apostle Femi Lazarus, you a bastard who gym with it. Glory to God. Because they are spreading the information, they are spreading the word, they are working. I don't want to tell you the most amazing miracles I've entered through insult. Insult has led me to many blessings, things I could never have worked for. May you do things that is worthy of insult. The mother of Jesus said to them, whatsoever he asks you to do, do it. They took water, they fetched the water. It was water. They were walking there and handed it over.
Water.
He was about to drink it.
What?
You want to move when you see that it has changed. It won't change, it is the taste that will change. You saw how they did now, fed 5,000 with bread. You can't have that miracle if you are looking at the bread. You have to be looking at the one who says serve. Are you seeing And to your amazement, it's not finishing. Change your gaze. There are things that is not for men who try to make sense. Stop making sense. Let me show you another scripture. Are you still there? Are you getting tired of me? All right, I have very short time left.
Femi Lazarus.
Can you just pray in the Holy Ghost for a moment? Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray, amen. From today, you will leave that which makes you nonsense. And begin to do things that make spiritual sense. I didn't hear amen to that. Let me show you a scripture. Let me say this to you: it doesn't matter what you have access to in the flesh, you can't beat a man of the spirit. You can't beat the reality of the spirit. I want to show you one of the foolishness of some men who walked in the spirit. Genesis 13, let's start reading from verse 7. This is a very strange one. Genesis 13:13, from verse 7.
All right.
And there was a strife between the headmen of Abram's cattle and the headmen of Lot's cattle. All right. And the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelled— I'm sorry— dwelled then in the land. Verse 8 now. And Abram said unto Lot, let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and you and between my headmen and your headmen, for we are brothers. Is not the whole land before you? Separate yourself, I pray you, from me. If you will take the left, I will go to the right, or if you will go to the right, I will go to the left. And Lot lifted up his eyes and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere. But look at it, before the Lord So he was looking at something that was in the last phase of its beauty, but because as a natural man he couldn't see beyond what now—
a natural man is trapped. All his choices will be trapped, they'll be flawed. Even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest to do— what now?
The question is what or audacity did Abraham have? What kind of man brings a man out and say, 'Peek before me'? He knew something. He knew it was not about place, but what is on the head. Let me tell you something: if you don't learn the pattern of the blessing, not even UK can change your experience. I tell you, Lot chose— in verse 11, then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. Where did he journey to?
East.
And they separated themselves themselves one from the other. And Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent towards Sodom. All right, let's jump to verse 14. Now look at how humorous God was.
And the Lord said unto Abram, after Lot was separated from him, lift up now your eyes and look from the place where you stand. Northward, southward, eastward, including where you went.
You were the one I had in my plan when I called you both out, including—
look at it, all right? And westward. Yes, look at what they said in verse 4: All the land which you see, to you will I give it and to your seed forever.
Yes, and I will make your seed as the dust of the earth. That's the life of the spirit. You are not disadvantaged. No matter is concluded until God speaks. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, it's the life of foolishness. It doesn't make sense. When you understand this life of the spirit, you are not anxious. Anxiety is a sign you've not heard God. You are not agitated. Nobody can marry your wife. Nobody can marry your husband. I don't know about this story, but I heard the story of a woman that herself and her husband drove to a, um, um, station to buy fuel. And she was selling— she was pointing to her husband, her ex, that was the attendant of selling. I don't know if you guys have petrol attendant here, and if you have them, they may look too but this is Nigeria, okay? So, and that's not the way to talk down people's hustle, but so the husband was laughing and said, all right, look at you. If you had not— if I had not married you, you'd have been the wife of a petrol attendant. She said, no, if I had married him, he would have been the one by this stairway now. She knew the capacity she had. It was not about a person, but what is on the earth. But let me just balance it, okay? No prayer can change a goat. It doesn't matter what you have on your head, a goat will make you look like a witch. Are you feeling what I'm saying? Oil on my head, be careful. I need to balance that now.
Say, I just got my word, it's not about him, I can't change him.
You are praying, you Are you following what I'm saying here? That's just the fact. Choose your battles correctly. There are fights you can win, there are fights you can't win. It doesn't matter the suit you put on the goat, it won't become a sheep. So you understand that the pictures are fine doesn't mean the one will be good. So be careful. Amen. Let me give you another example of a very, very foolish man and a wise man. One day, wise man went to work, came back very hungry, and a foolish man had cooked. The wise man said to the foolish man, give me your food? The foolish man said, I will if you will give me your bet right. The wise man looked around. Where is the receipt for the bet right? He said, the bet right, I can't even see. He said to the foolish man, what is this bet right to me? The wise man ate. The foolish man took what he wanted that eyes could not see.
If you— if that was all you saw, you call Jacob a stupid guy. Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen are not made from the things which do appear. The life of the spirit is to value the invisible over the visible. That's what we value.
That both Esau and Jacob will go on to get married and have children, but one has traded significance in the Messianic journey. That from the moment he was eating those pot of porridge, he no longer have what it takes to bet a David. He no longer has what it takes to bet a Daniel.
He doesn't have what it takes to bet those who will be significant in God's man, but he ate, filled the belly but lost the agenda. You may call Jacob a liar, a deceiver, but before they were born, now, did God not say that this belonged to Jacob? He knew what he wanted. In Genesis 27, the mother clothed him with the ram skin, boiled on him, and said, go to your father now, give him this food, when he eats it, he will bless you. The, the Jacob said, if he found out this is Jacob, he will curse me. The mother said, even if he cursed, let the curse be on me. Mean that the least that can happen to you is to be blessed.
Jacob took that in there.
Why all this drama?
It was not for physical inheritance, it was for something that hands couldn't touch.
Why take that kind of risk for a pronouncement if you know the power of words? That the Abrahamic blessing was locked in a statement.
You don't understand what that means. You are the one who doesn't value words.
What are they doing in church?
Are they sharing rice? That's the life of Esau. And he will do all those things. Look at what the Bible says, Genesis 27:27. This is where I want to wrap up.
Today.
Genesis 27:27: And he came near him and kissed him, and smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said— please pay attention— see, you know, something was happening here. All right, um, Pastor Jeff, please come. Let me give you something. Please pull off your jacket. Do you mind? Can I— can you— can I use it? He picked the coat. He got the skin, all right? The mother got a skin from the animal she killed and clothed that skin on Jacob. Jacob wore the skin of what had to die. Come. And he came in boldly before Isaac, not on the account of Jacob, but on the account of his substitution.
That was what Isaac smelled and said, the smell of my son is as the smell of shalom. A blessed field.
You know what was playing out? Hebrews 4:16: Let us therefore come boldly before the throne. It is the voice of Femi Lazarus, but the person of Christ, that what God sees is the one who died. Are you following what I'm saying here?
That was what the father smelled.
Now look at what he says. Please go back to that All right, 27.
He kissed him, smelled some of his raiment, and blessed him and said, see, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which— though, that's what— what is the smell of that? His son, what died.
That's the fragrance. Verse 28 now. Therefore God give thee of the dew from heaven— no noise, but they will see the result—
and of the fatness of the earth.
Let me tell you something. It is the dew from heaven that powers the fatness of the earth and plenty corn and wine. Look at the next statement. Let people serve you and nations bow to you. Be Lord over your brethren. Let your mother's sons bow to you. Look at where he nailed it. Cursed be anyone that curse you. From that moment, even him could not curse him. That is the life we carry. We can't be cursed. Let me tell you, I'm looking at my time. Let me show you something. You know, when he came there, the father asked, he said, what's your name? Said, my name is Esau, this, this, this. I want to show you something. That same Genesis 27 All right, let's jump a bit to where the father was speaking to Esau. Genesis 27, and let's go to verse— let's go to verse 39. Look at what Jacob said to Esau— Isaac, sorry. And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth and of the dew from above. That's right. This is where you just— you, you look at the injustice done to scriptures here. Look at this. King James presented it like he gave him the same blessing, but read the same thing in Message or Amplified quickly. Look at what he said. And Isaac said, you will live far from earth's bounty. And remote from heaven's dew, that these words will go on to determine people's eternal choices. Words. Let me tell you something. Anybody who understands the life of the spirit knows that there is nothing physical that is compared to the words from the mouth of God. Yes, yes. Sometimes you can have access to a level of finance, you say this is the proof of breakthrough. He tells you to drop it for a statement. People will look at you and say you are the definition of mumu. That thing that he said, does he put food on your table? That is the life of Esau. Are you following what I'm saying? You know, this scene will later be replayed in Genesis 32 when Jacob met the angel, because God is a God of justice. And he finished fighting the angel and said, bless me now. The angel said, several decades ago there was an exam you wrote. You answered the question one way. What's your name? The last time they asked you, you said Esau. When he said Jacob, then I did, because he said you will no longer be called Jacob. But Israel. Let me tell you the mistake Jacob made. Jacob thought that the arms of God— there are situations that it is too short to save.
If—
let me tell you, what God is bringing to you, it is God who is bringing it.
God predetermined this thing belonged to Jacob. You can't stop it. What we would have learned in Genesis 27 is ways that God can interrupt Did they not bring Ephraim and Manasseh before Joseph— before Jacob, and the hands crossed?
It took him several decades to learn to answer what is your name correctly, because the life of the flesh full of anxiety. Let's bow our heads. I'm going to stop here today. We continue from here tomorrow. Ask God for wisdom to live the life of the Spirit and not to distort his plan for your life. I perceive that there are realities of God that we are supposed to break into in this season that will not happen through agitations, anxiety, and many things. Listen, ask God for wisdom and he will open your eyes to see wondrous things as his plan.
Hallelujah! Let's pray. That final revelation— what is your name? Name is an identity in the spirit, and I believe from there the Lord is giving people a new name. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father, in Jesus' name. That is why you call 50 messages in one. Every statement was a message. I just pray that this is one of those conferences, or this is that conference is that after all said and done, beginning from tonight, you will go back and listen again. Please, can I request that before you sleep tonight— because you think you've heard it all, you didn't— at best possibly you captured only 10% of what was said. But as you listen again, you now begin to see, especially for those of us who are here, some of the things we've been talking about, why people struggle in the UK. Apostle Femi Lazarus, it will interest you to know that we started teaching some of these things and some people got upset and left church, as in, for daring, uh, to bring forth truth that challenge their mindset. Because people just believe that there is a way you have to, to line up with UK. And I keep on saying, look, the system we are called to replace can never promote us, so we must get alternative systems. And I remember the day we came in here, one of the things we said was that even this building is a proof that you can beat this system. Because on a good day, UK is not going to give you space to do church, especially at city center. But it's all about the word of God. The first day we came in here with a team, I just said, Lord, is this the place? And right there I said, this is the place. Said, don't look for any other place again, this is it. We started, because man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceed out of the mouth of God. Let's give tonight as we close the meeting. Tomorrow we start 10:00 a.m., and the first session tomorrow we have Pastor Emisi. Then after Femi Lazarus will be here, and because it's going to be an afternoon session, we're going to give him more time to minister. Same thing in the evening, get ready to stretch a bit. And same thing Sunday morning, and same thing the final session when we have him and DDK again in the evening on Sunday. So we're all here all throughout, and And, um, it's going to be a very wonderful time. And invite people, tell your friends something's going on here. And I also want to thank those who have joined us online. Thank you for joining. Let's give— the account is on the screen. Allow us to just take a minute. If you want to do cash, you can lift up your hands and the ushers We get across to him for this morning to cash.
Hallelujah!
Sister Olushe, that's your name? Is that her name? What's your name? What's your name? Do you know I got to know your name? Okay, I'll tell you later. Please make sure you see me after the service. All right, are we set to give? Please, the accounts on the screen. Let's just do the needful as we pray. Father, thank you for giving seed to the sower. Thank you for giving bread to the eater. Thank you for establishing us on this principle of sowing and reaping. Multiplying the seed sown and increasing the fruits of our righteousness, to the praise and the glory of your name, in Jesus' name. Let me again thank all the pastors, and, um, let's allow our guests to go into the room, please. Protocol, please, can you help us to lead Apostle and the rest of the guest ministers to the office, please, while the rest of us stand to share the grace. Hallelujah! Yes, to God be the glory, great things has done. So long, Femi Lazarus.
