HARVEST SUMMIT '24 DAY 3 | DR. DELE OSUNMAKINDE | APS. FEMI LAZARUS | PST. IMISIOLUWA OWOLABI

Apostle Femi Lazarus preaches on prayer as the breath of a believer's life, sharing how he overcame his stepmother's curses through forgiveness and covenant repentance. He calls the church to honor past laborers, warns against rewriting history, and proclaims a coming "first-born oil" that will bring material breakthroughs and national restoration through mercy.

Thank you, Lord. What a house this is. You are blessed, though. You are blessed. Ma, you touched something in my life tonight. I'm still trying to get words to express it. But if God— I want to— but let me just say in a way that will not be controversial. Two teaching priests in the same house. Ah, God means business. It means there are destinies that God is intentional about straightening out. Are you following what I'm saying? Thank you, Ma. Thank you so much, sir. Thank you. And again, I want to honor all God's servants here, pastors, leaders of ministries, every one of us. Let's give them a big hand. Please be seated. You know, tonight I said I'm going to teach about prayer, right? Are you ready to pray? Are you sure? Say it again. I will pray. Say, I love to pray. Let's say the way we say it: I love to charge. When I'm sleeping, I pray. Say it. When I'm eating, I pray. When I'm walking, I pray. In everything, I pray. I am no longer afraid of prayer. Prayer is my life. I eat prayer. I drink prayer. Thank you, Lord. Psalms 51. Because I was— and let me quickly say this. I just want to appreciate, not a popular method, but I want to appreciate two sets of two departments in this house. First is the media. Your attention to details is out of this world. So I was going to ask you, I said that, who is doing this graphics design? You have a PhD in graphics? Then the sound guys. So I'm appreciating you guys. From experience.
And they will tell you—
let me tell you why. You have to set mic for a pastor who will spike like this.
It's not easy. You know your work. You know, some of us who watch him online, we are like, eh, John, bring me serious.
But you guys keep us there. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm still going to do my appreciation, but we don't have much time. I just want to buttress something the pastor has said tonight, because that's— when he was talking, I was eating my heart out. I said, God, this is a setup, this is a setup, this is a setup. There are conversations, and I will tell you my reasons, that I vowed never to say on the altar until the doors are closed. Let's reduce the crowd, then we can talk. I'm just— that's my principle. But I want to touch something because of what he has said. And before I read what I want to show you The year that God opened my eyes towards prayer was year 2011. Okay, maybe that I began to, like I was going to die, it's 2011. But the revelation began 2009, and I'll tell you what happened. Um, because as Pastor was preaching, I was picking the pulse. There's someone here who is of a sorrowful heart, and you are holding on, but you are, you are, you are in distress. I picked your pulse. Um, I have been told not to hold back. That is, there should be ministrations of the spirit. So what that means is that my teaching today is not just going to be just words. There's going to be very serious impartations following as I speak. You don't worry, just follow me.
One year—
I mean, before I talk about the year, I grew up from a house where my stepmother pointed to me and said to me, to my face, that I will make sure you die young. One time, our son, young boy, did something very bad, and as his elder brother, I dealt with him and corrected him the way I would— I should have. She took belt and gave him and said, "You lie down," and said, "Flog him." And then she said, "My children will never need you in life." So there were two promises that she made. Number one is that there won't be longevity. Number two is that I won't amount to anything. So I kept those two in my heart. Okay, so one time she called me on the phone. See, I'm— so you can know I'm now talking deep stuff, I'm careful with words. One time she called me on the phone and she began to rain curses, talking— I removed the phone from my ears, put the phone down on the table, and I sat down. By the time I checked later, I saw that she had ended the call. She spent about 30-something minutes on the call speaking without checking whether I was talking back. So I called her. I waited till evening. I called her and I said, I know what the issue is. She said, what? I said, you are afraid of me. I said, you know that the hand of God is upon my life and is going to lift my head, and you are afraid that I will not be good towards you and your children. I said, but because you don't know how much I love you and love your children, that's why you are doing this. Then she burst into tears. She was crying. I didn't say what we discussed with anybody, didn't bother, just Left it there, counseled her, and let it go. On Sunday evening, my father called me and said, "What did you do to my wife?" I said, "Nothing, we just had a conversation." You know what happened on Sunday? After sermon, she came out for altar call. Pastor's wife for decades, but was not saved, and nobody knew. Love will change more than what noise will change. See, let me tell you, I make sure I give— a giver— but exceptionally I'm committed there. And the reason why I'm sharing this is because of a principle I want to show. That's why I said that Pastor has touched something. And I think many believers don't know this, and that's the reason why it looks like many of us, we have become a brick wall that God can't move through. I can tell you this in area of finance, I can tell you this in area of the anointing, I can tell you this, that if you know these things you have left unchecked, you will shift. Are you following what I'm saying here? I want to show you scripture, Psalm 51. Let's start reading from verse 16. Psalm 51, let's start from verse 16. Um, please project King James. Afterwards I'm going to request for Message so we can see together. Are you with me tonight? For thou desirest not sacrifice, else would I give it. Thou delightest not in burnt offering. Look at it. Let's read that together. 1, 2, 3, go. Please, can we take it one more time? For the last time. Let's read this same scripture in Message translation. Look at it. Let's read from verse 16 quickly. Going through the motions doesn't please you. A flawless performance is nothing to you. Look at verse 17: I learned God worship when my pride was shattered. Heart-shattered lives ready for love don't for a moment escape God's notice. Look at the principle here, please pay attention. The principle is Joseph had been sold to slavery by his brothers. He had every human right to resent them. God will bring Joseph out of captivity and place him on the throne. Are you seeing that now? But Joseph must realize that the reason why he suffered what he suffered was not even about him. You must understand though that people can put you in pain and God will send you on the journey still for them. Because among those that God will use Joseph to rescue was Judah, and Jesus will be a reference to that guy. That the pain was not enough for God to move the agenda from Judah to Joseph. You still have a place. If your heart doesn't heal, you will suffer in vain. And this is what people don't understand, that there is There is something called a heart that is ready for love. If not, our prayers will look— because I'd like to teach you demonstrations. All right, please, please, you play the drums, sir. All right, please come. I don't want somebody who knows how to play the drums. Is there anybody who doesn't know how to play drums here?
You—
if they put you, you play nonsense. Sir, please come. Thank you. No, you that play the drum, you won't play nonsense. Please, your instinct won't allow you play nonsense. Please play something for us. Let's give him a big hand.
Aha!
As they are cheering you on, you will get the anointing to play.
You have to play. They've cheered you on. Play something.
Let's give a big hand again. Amen. It looks like you are rehearsing for a meeting of witches and wizards, like you are on IT for them or something, but it's okay.
But I want to show you a scripture to buttress what he's doing.
1 Corinthians chapter number 13 from verse 1. If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but a creaking— but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I look at the way the Amplified— because the King James put it in something relating to drums. All right, King James said I'm just what? A sounding brass or a tinkling— it's just the cymbal. There is a distortion that can happen in your soul that your prayer is noise before the angels. This is the part people don't know. Let me tell you something. Let me show you a scripture, and I'm going to say something about the move of God in Nigeria and the reason why we can't, through the lens of the past, judge the future. See, some things are predictable, but I want to show you something. Look at it. Psalms chapter number 82. All right, let's read verse 4. I want to show you something. Once I'm done preaching this message, I'll just drop a disclaimer that it's not me, it's the angel of this house that stirred the water. So, Psalms 82, can we read from verse 1 together? All right, media, help us from verse 1. Verse 5. Arise, O Lord, judge the earth, avenge thy inheritance, all nations. Now look at this. There's a principle there. If you— ah, okay, look at the habit of God, you will see that God is a God of righteousness and justice. If you know this principle about prayer, let me tell you something, you'll be very effective. Number 2, you are going to carry a weight of glory that people can't explain. Because this thing we call presence, we— it is not in noise, it is in depth. That is, we decrease for him to what? Increase. Look at it, the emphasis made about— says, how long will you wait till you are ready to judge between— judge matters of injustice? Look at it, said judge the issue of the poor and the widow who have been neglected. All right, how long will you accept them doing unjust things? That's what he was saying. He was calling the attention of men to championing the cause of justice. And that's where we get it wrong. Let me tell you something. In the move of God in Africa, let me put it like that, there's pain. And the pain is, ah, People were edited out of history because they lack prominence. And we hear stories in the body of Christ that some were actually involved, and we got to a point that we found a way to delete their names. And there's pain, and God is not happy about it. That people can labor over people, and the moment God lifts them, they find ways to delete them from their records like it was a walk in the park. That two friends can hear God about something at the same time and somebody rescue you in the moment that you were down. And when God lifted you, you presented the matter like you prayed through, but God used a friend. And we go on editing people out of it, and the next generation feel you fell from the sky. And God is not happy about that. What I'm saying is bigger than my mouth, but I speak on the authority of scriptures that the next generation must mind out their deed. It's serious stuff. Some have edited their parents out of their history. Some have edited friends out. See, I am not one to talk about this is the principle that worked for me. In fact, because Pastor Collins was talking to me and he said He said, I've just observed that the way to hear you is to go and hear your message. Say you won't talk. And the reason why I'm like that is because I really just do what I do out of love. Because I know if it is love, when you count it, it doesn't count.
Okay.
One of the very important principles I work with is that all the friends who served together in Campus Fellowship, in the season that God said to wait behind and pray, who had gone ahead and then maybe they were not able to enter into many seasons, to make sure they are not left behind is a principle I work with. I've cried sometimes because I feel this decision is not easy. I've gone to places that I'm better off on not alone, but I have to pull them behind. And physically and humanly, sometimes it looks like they can't meet up with the status quo. By his covenant. That David is a man after God's heart, not because he sang Psalms, but because he said, who is left in the house of Saul? That's, that's the principle. That's the heartbeat. That Saul was bad doesn't mean his lineage should be wiped out. God wants those who gather fragments. You, you, you are not coming back to say, those who despised us have failed, look at us now. They are part of your prayer project. The idea is that who can we trust with the project of suffering and nothing missing and nothing is broken? God wants to rescue both you and your enemies, but we have become quite shallow and we want to say we have gone past them now. See what we are, and we miss the main point. I'm saying there are people we have edited out. Maybe you are glad that an ex who broke your heart, the wife has not given birth, and say, my head is strong. When you really begin to pray is when you start praying for your enemies. Real prayer, you pray for them and cry overnight, and they will treat you bad the following morning. There's injustice in the land. And there must be healing before we can have true revival. There are fathers in a Nigerian church whose names are not known, but those who should herald it kept quiet. But they labored.
They labored.
There will be healing. I didn't hear amen to that. I say again, there will be healing and there will be restoration. That we're going to have Davidic generation arising that God can trust with his people. I didn't hear amen to that. There will be healing when That's why I said something has been touched tonight. So just— are you tired of me?
No.
Before Pa SGL team died, because I was in the house, I had to go to Elisha. At some point, he humanly, he almost became an irritant. He began to say things that people were not pleased with. Before he died, it was Pastor Iya Adeboye that bought the coffin and sent down to Ilesha. That you are irritated doesn't mean God doesn't have reward system, and he will honor back those who honor his servants. What God will reward in heaven is not prominence, is labor, obedience. One time I heard Bishop Oyedepo say a statement like, if I die now, don't cry, I'll wake up myself. Who talks like this? You know, I was asking, where is he? Because that you repeat it doesn't mean you know it. So I wanted to understand. Go and check with me, I won't talk about these things in my teachings, I just move on. When we close the door, we can talk. Amen. I— so I, I stayed awake all night. There are nights you stay awake not to pray but to search, because that's where prayer will now start from. You have found something, you now take to the place of prayer. And I was trying to check what principles is he operating. Was there something that is not on the surface? And I want to find it. And I tell you, I stayed awake, and I know how to research. I stayed awake from night till few minutes to 6. I was tired. I checked all these videos. I could find every articles. I, I couldn't lay my hands on something that he was not saying. Then before I dropped my phone, a video popped up. I saw the video. He went to greet a woman whose husband was his friend who had died, and he went to the house. He was on white, and as we were walking, I said, this is it, he's a man of covenant. There are things you pray for that is covenant that secures it. And you will hear Mommy Margaret Idaosa saying, for 26 years Baba has gone. People promised and we couldn't find them, but you have stayed true. May God give you the eyes that sees.
There are—
let me see, look at you. Look at you, look at you. There are things you can't pray into, you are only trusted with. David didn't pray into being a man God trusted with the throne. God saw a heart and said, I can put it here. I feel something is missing in our practices, and I've just said this to ask us to pray. Do you mind praying? Let me tell you something. One time I prayed a prayer. I said, God, this is the man you have asked me to serve under and to submit to. I don't change leaders. I don't jump. I don't jump. Before I met my spiritual father, I've only been with a man I've only submitted under a man, and I didn't leave till he died. He died. I was with him in the house. We had to clean him up. He was using Pampers. He was sick, and I was there to help wash him and do all that. And he called me and said, He calls me Pastor Femi. He said, Pastor Femi, you are not irritated by all this? I said, the days I sat under your message, I wasn't irritated.
Why now?
Then he cried. Only God knows those who will be with us when the crowd have been dispersed. There are people who sit for bread and fish, but when it's time for the cross, you carry it alone. The day of bread and fish, there were 5,000. When the cross came, only a man was begged to carry it for him. We must labor correctly. It's not enough to ask for such men, become such a person. Every man seeketh for his own things, but a faithful man who can find? You have to clean, you have to do all that. My, I wept the day he died. My world shattered. So I'm about to make prayers like, there's nothing you have given me that this man will have to beg for, so bless me on his behalf. God must use you to balance the equation of injustice. He must, he must. What he wants to give you is not something for your pocket and your account alone. He wants to trust you on behalf of people that might be forgotten, except there are those who pay back. If you will pray, it will open your eyes and you wake up to instructions. I know if I ask us to pray against village people we cry. But this is where the real fortification is, that something comes on your head because you are aligned and no devil can take you down. Yeah, said they know not, neither did they understand. All the foundations of the earth are out of course and they will die like men. And fall like one of the princes. We are fortified through covenant practices. Can I ask you to pray?
Will you even pray?
Ah, Ephesians 1:18 prayer. Lord, that my eyes of understanding will be enlightened. Will you mind standing and let's pray for a few minutes? Ask him to help in certain regards. Ask him. Ask him. Ask him. Femi Lazarus. Ask him. I wish you will even pray. If only you know what you have just heard. Well, if only you do know what you have just heard, I would have wanted you to pray more. Pray, beloved.
Pray.
Pray, pray that the wisdom that stabilizes, the wisdom that equips, will hold you by the hand. Pray, pray, beloved, pray that you begin to see it. You begin to know. You begin to know.
Thank you, Lord. Amen.
Please sit for a while. A wave of glory just moved in. That's why I raised that sound. And I know that when God is pleased about something, yes, there's a ventilation that comes when he's pleased. I was going to board a flight a while back. Back, and I saw a man was going to the economy cabin, and they didn't recognize him, but they know me. And usually when I take a flight, oh, Apostle, this, this. And I was watching him going to the economy cabin. So I ran after him. Ah, sir, this is my ticket. You go take my seat. I'm going to the economy. And that's by Emiko. Ah, men like this should not be taking economy in our lifetime. He looked at me, he said, you don't have to. I said, sir, I have to. So I went to the economy. The airline recognized me, so they came to pick me from the economy and say, take the seat. And I watched him seated there and was eating the things they shared. I felt satisfied, and I felt God was honored. The foundation of a building is not seen, but the building is standing because foundation decided to be foundation. We are built on labors of men, but we must not despise the foundation, cuz if you let flood despise it, the building will crumble. I don't know why this meeting is going tonight this way, but I I perceive that maybe God is showing someone this is what has been missing. One of my friends invited me and said, I'm getting married, come and be my best man. People told him that, do you know who you have will be your best man. He's too busy, he won't come. And we're going to a very thick village for the wedding. There was no hotel. I can't remember where we slept, but I know it was on the floor. So everyone he told that would be his best man, I told him, you are aiming high. But while we were praying on campus, they were staying in a mission house. Many of the things we are doing today that I heard from God on campus, I heard them in that church of the mission house where they were staying, and they used to house me then. So I said, I won't just come, certain expenses are on me. For the wedding, and I felt God was pleased. The issue is many of us Christians are without armor because we are despisers of covenant. We find a way to edit it. Because we are insecure. We find a way to delete people's contribution. Where are those that God used for you 2, 4, 5 years ago? When you were coming to the UK, were there people who gave? At least in some cases, families sold land. Don't get to the point of in it, that when they call you now on phone, you speak phone. Eh, you are standing on the foundation. You must not despise it. Go back to the place God picked you from. Don't wait for him to remind you. Whenever God reminds a man where he picked him from, is because he has dropped the man back there. He told Saul, you were, you were just small in your own eyes now when I picked you as a captain over my people. When he was saying that, he was dumping him. He was done. Maybe it's not just prayer, maybe it is repentance. Then God will now be able to trust you with things beyond human. You will be a distributor on behalf of God. Ah, I know by the Spirit I'm not in the wrong place and I'm not sharing the wrong thing. Your response can make me feel like I'm saying the wrong thing, but I know I'm not. No, I'm, I'm not speaking based on your response now. I'm in my prophetic element. You are going to pray that God, you will bless me, and mention those on behalf of whom he must trust you with those things, including those who despised you. Let me tell you something. We just finished our International Ministers Conference last week. We have honor night. Every year, and the person we're going to honor this year was Prophet S.K. Abiara. And as I was praying, God said, what about those who have personally touched you? What are you honoring? Is it prominence or labor? Ah, Lord, it's labor. Then I remembered years Years back, I entered the church as a first-timer. A man saw me doing Bible study and said, stand up. Say, what's your name?
I said, Lazarus.
Say, what kind of name is that? Then he said that— he said they should mark me that I'm going to pastor this church. What did you say? First-timer, I came here to study, talking about pastoring. I'm out of here. Before he could say the benediction, I left. Later I came back. It was the opportunity he gave to me then that formed what I'm doing now. Shortly after that, Baba went to the village as a missionary. He was working in Shell. As a top executive in Shell. He resigned because he gave his life to Christ late, sold all his properties, and went to the village for mission work. I was there. I ministered on his 70th birthday. He's 83 now. And we had some big pastors that came from city to the village. The highest offering that was given to him then should be about ₦5,000. One day, Baba said he was done.
He was—
he slept in his car for about 5 years. With his wife, Eka. So he said he was done. I don't know if there's anyone here, maybe, because I remember 2011, I was with Nigerian Medical Association that went to the village. That was when we built him a house. He one day woke up and packed all his belongings and said, 'I'm done.' It just occurred to him the nature of men. And while he packed with tears, he wanted to leave before the villagers wake up. Then his phone vibrated. A girl on campus was praying white wall, and God said, message him. And she sent a simple text, Baba, thank you for all you do, only God can reward you. That was all. That was the text he read. He broke down beside the car and began to cry. When he shared that story, I went to the village and we were talking, and he said in passing said this work is tedious. I wish I can just get a vehicle that can allow us move and pick villagers from neighboring village, pick instrument, pick all those things. He said e-locks will be so good. He said that many years ago. 2024, I just thought to myself, the iloks that was a prayer point then, nobody has bought it. So we bought it and gave him. When we presented it, he almost fainted. I saw him shed tears and I felt God was pleased. Then the son came and said— this what I'm saying is on online. He said Baba called him few days before and spoke to him in Yoruba. I will interpret. He said, that is, I did physical jobs, got nothing out of it. I went to ministry, nothing out of it. He said what you have given him, you have elongated his life. There are people who have decided to go because they there's a system of injustice. God's way of honoring them is that he will raise a son who won't forget. You forget too soon those that God uses. I wish you will pray, but the way you are praying doesn't look like you have plans for others in your determination for greatness. Do you Are there people that when you look at them, because of them, God should keep you alive? So you pray because of them. Let me tell you something. We had these two women on our street. We call one of them Mama Ada and the other one Mama Femi Lazarus. That's where we used to take credit of SPAG.
Huh?
Spag. We take spag and take— there's something they call pepper tera. You don't know it here? You know it? It's all-in-one tomato paste, pepper, onion. Just put— you don't have to know how to cook, just put it, everything will combine. And I remember that it doesn't matter how much we are owing these women, when they see us, they still respect us. As God began to change story, I said, let's go and look for my mother. We have to do something back. I'm showing you that there are practices behind what you are seeing. This is the first meeting in my life I'm talking like this, not even on our platforms. Let me tell you, people have been offended at me, even those who follow me and say, Apostle, I said sometimes the issue that comes with what I carry is that I don't have utterance on personal level. I don't. You can be in my house and I I won't see you for 2 days. I don't talk, but I, I saw it, that a water stirring. And God wants to bring us into eternal covenant. Ah, I just wish you can see that the system of this country can bow because you enter something deeply.
God, I know what I'm saying. I know what I am saying.
May I beg us and give us some more time? Do you mind? 3, 4, 5 minutes.
Can we pray and press into God that he will begin to use you to wipe away certain tears? I wish you pray.
I wish you will pray. I wish you will pray. Just flow, just flow, just flow.
I wish you will pray.
Yes, I wish you will pray. I wish you pray. Let him give you the instructions that will power your life. Just play, just play. Femi Lazarus.
Baramiro, Majem Babatia Dura, Benjamin Dau, Baramiro, Majem Babatia Dura. Until my only gaze is you. Spirit, keep building over me till I look more like you. Until my only gaze is you. Spirit, keep building over till I look more like you.
Mighty name we are praying. Please sit down. The direction of the meeting has been totally altered and we must align. What makes a teaching priest is not someone knows, but the ability to align with the teacher himself. I want to show you something very important. Will you hear it? Because there is something God wants me to pray about, and one of the things that is going to happen is that, um, there's going to be release of new oil. See, listen, I know you are used to— anyways, this is a house of the Word and Power. Sometimes we do Christianese that you are used to hearing that there is a season, and sometimes you don't see the result of the season. Most times it's not because the word was empty, because you didn't know how to enter. What I've taught you is how to enter, so I can go on to announce some things. Are you sure? God will give you shocking results that people will say this doesn't happen in the UK. He will. He's going to trust you because you have a heart that is ready to obey. We're going to begin to see strange averses of properties. Now, properties is one of the things people barely ask for here. You know why? Because they settle for a rentage. But we're going to begin to see it. It will crack the system.
We will see God's people building resort centers here. It will happen because these words won't fall to the ground.
It will show you the secret of wealth. And this system will bow to his authority. Are you still there? Let me show you a scripture. Psalms, that same Psalms 89. Ah, give ear, you Shepherd of Israel. That's not Psalms 89. You will lead Jacob like a flock. You will dwell between the cherubims. Shine forth. Ah, he's about to break forth in unusual ways. Is about to break forth. Let me show you something. Psalms 89, let's start from verse 20. Psalms 89, let's start from verse 20. I have found David my servant. Put your name there. Jola. With my holy oil have I anointed him. Look at verse 21. With whom my hand shall be established, my arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. I will beat down his foes before his face and plague them that what hate him. There's a realm where it's God who is doing it. Look at it. Go to verse 23 again. I will plague them that what hate him. I will show you something about those who hate you. Verse 24. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him, and in my name shall his honor be exalted. Alted. Verse 25: I will set his hand also in the sea— that's influence— and his right hand in the rivers. Yes, he shall cry to me, Thou art my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation. 27: Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. Yes, my mercy will I keep for him forevermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. His seed will I also— will I make to what? Endure forever and is strong as the days of— see, I'm coming, I'm going to verse 30 now. See, see, see what the elders are using to eat pap is under the leaf. You hear Daddy Joe say, my life is an open book. I pray, I study.
We agree.
You know, I went to preach somewhere, and I've not gone back there because I'm afraid, and some boys came to lock me up. And when I thought about my life, I said, it's true, I deserve to be locked up. Because they knew that there's something this guy is not saying. They called the police. Epo ma. Have I mentioned your village?
Permit me.
They—
I'm telling you, they came to really lock me up. I still have an injury I sustained from that. And said, waiting be your secret. No dare tell us say no fasting and prayer because we dey fast and we dey pray. You know the way they were saying and getting close.
Oh God, calm down, calm down.
Sometimes you just feel that what should do for this one, but some things don't move without honor. All right, he said his seed will I make to endure.
Go.
Are you aware that the church, the Anglican church that Baba was at, if he still pays the staffs of that place? Those are covenants. Who are those who are crying on your behalf that, God, you can't take this person now? You think it's by Prayer is powerful, but there are things you need to know. Ah, look at here. Now this is where we begin to get it, misunderstand God. His seed also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of of heaven. Verse 30: If his children forsake my law and walk not in my judgment, yes, if they break my statute and keep not my commandments, yes, then I will visit their transgression with a rod and their iniquity with stripes. Yes, nevertheless, my loving kindness will I not utterly take away from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to what Was this not the same reason why God said to Eli that you have not sanctified for your children? That I said before that you and your father shall be priests before me forever, but now far be it from me. They that honor me, I will honor. They that despise me, I will lightly esteem. But he's telling David, even if they be become like the sons of Eli, I won't remove it. When you find it, it looks like God is partial. There's something called the Covenant of Sure Mercies. M that God is pursuing you with mercy, is, is apportioned the dimension of mercy for your journey. If you don't know what prayer to pray, there's one you can't get wrong: mercy. You are in a situation, you don't know how to cry. There's a burden to fast, but you don't know, you don't have what terms for it. What is prayer? Mercy. Look at it, Psalms 18. Psalm 18. Are you there? Let's start reading from verse 3. I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies.
Yes.
Verse 4 now. The sorrows of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. Yes, the sorrows of hell compassed me about, the snares of death prevent me. Yes, in my distress I called upon the Lord and cried unto my God. He heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him even into his ears.
Yes.
The earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken because he was wrought. Yes, then went up smoke out of his nostrils and fire out of his mouth devoured. Coals were kindled by it. Yes, he bowed the heavens also and came down. Darkness was under his feet. Yes, he rode upon a cherub. And did fly. Yeah, it did fly upon the wings of the wind.
Yes.
Now why, why is God moving like this? Why the preparation? Moving on the wings of cherubim wing? Because a man who has found mercy is crying. Anonye. Let's pray. I'm telling you that there are rams caught in the ticket that only mercy can show you. I wish you get that. And I tell you again, the atmosphere is heavy. There are things that are possible but you don't know yet, but when mercy is activated, it will shock you to your core. The covenant of mercy, I step into it tonight, that I will find mercy in your sight.
Will you—
do you mind praying that prayer? That I will find mercy in your sight. I'll find mercy in your sight.
Mercy.
Oh yes, merci, merci. Let mercy secure different aspects of my life, my health, and every aspect. Let the borders of my life be manned by mercy. Let my gates be manned by mercy.
The gates around my destiny, let them be manned by mercy. The gate around my life, let them be manned by mercy. The gate around my family, Let them be manned by mercy. The gates around my ministry, let them be manned by mercy. The gates around my children, let them be manned by mercy. The gates around my home, let them be manned by mercy.
Thank you, Lord. Amen. Please sit as I round up. That same Psalms 18, let's go to verse 13. The Lord also thundered in the heaven. And the Highest gave his voice, hailstones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows and scattered them. He shot out lightnings and discomfited them. The channels of the waters were seen, the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters, he delivered me from my strong enemies, from them which hated me, for they were too strong for me.
Huh?
You know, if you go on with this same scripture, that's when I begin to show you that he has made my feet strong like hands feet. Blessed be God of David who trains my hand to war. There are enemies who gather themselves, and let me tell you this, they are too strong. And the reason why they are too strong is not because they have what is bigger than the blood, but because the realm of the spirit is the realm of legality. If you intercede, you know you are, you are like presiding over legal matters. Let me give you an instance. I had a vision, and that's why I know that intercessory ministry is corrupted through pride. One of the things that intercessors are predisposed to is the tendency for pride, because as you pray, you know more. I had the vision. And I saw a man of God that I respect and was standing before the throne of God, and a woman was standing beside him, and the devil was standing beside them. And from the vision, I was watching the proceeding going on about him, and the devil was laying charge against him in the vision and telling God that this woman here is one of the daughters of Abraham. That's the word he used. This is one of the daughters of Abraham. She reached out to him that she was sick, and he didn't believe her, and she couldn't buy the drugs, so she died. And he quoted the scripture that, 'Should love not believe all things?' And he went on with the proceeding to say that I brought this charge, and her blood is the token against him. That he needs to die also. Says his blood for life for life. That's the word he used. And I was there crying, and I was asking, why am I here? And the Lord spoke to me and said, when the enemy has all charged against us, there is only one voice that can still speak mercy. So I brought you here to intercede on his behalf. There's a blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel. The blood of Abel speaks judgment. This blood said the price has been paid. It's the blood of Christ. It's mercy. There are times that the devil has charges enough to destroy you, but mercy will speak. I didn't hear amen to Mercy will speak. There's something called firstborn oil. It's not about being a first child, it's about being the one whose head is lifted. As I was teaching, I saw it, and, um, there's going to be quite some reactions because something will enter today and you will know something came. There's going to be meaning to your journey.
Huh?
You don't seem to believe because I'm not doing gymnastics.
From—
you will notice from tonight when you beat the drums, it will sound.
When you speak, ears will now listen. You begin to command results on a new level.
So if you can, while you are seated— Father, you showed that to me about the firstborn oil which you are releasing tonight, both on site and online. There are people here whose time has come. The set time to favor them has come. That there is a wave of your spirit and your anointing here. I heard the word 'the breaker.' There's an anointing called the breaker. There's an anointing called the breaker.
It breaks strongholds and shields, all barricade. I heard that word, the breaker. So I stretch my hands across this place that the oil will find expression, that the garment of mercy will find expression. It's a new spiritual journey.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
That there will be an expression to the words coming out of my mouth. And that which you are releasing tonight will flow on him. That let ears hear the voice out of my mouth and give heed to what I say by the words of the Lord. The firstborn oil.
Individuals, ministries, families.
Will begin from tonight. The similitude of what David found will take root and find expression from this place tonight, that there will be a new anointing. Just help them. And a new grace. Let it begin to express itself. Let the breaker anointing Rest and find place here tonight. The set time to favor Zion has come. When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we're like them that dream. There was a mouth filled with singing. Father, the time has come, and that oil, that grace that anointing will find expression. I see a lady here being wrapped with a garment, and on that garment I see the word in capital letter: Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy. There's a flavor of ancient anointing here tonight. There's a flavor, there's a flavor of it, of the oil. The foundations are stirred. There's a flavor.
God is remembering certain covenants.
He's remembering. The wind is blowing, and certain words that look like they've been covered over the years, he's bringing them back to remembrance. That Jacob may find a stone and know not that the Lord is there. What he said that has been covered for years, they begin to spring back. God said, I didn't stop talking, you are the one who stop hearing. And I'm revisiting back my word, that which I said to you.
For the Spirit and the bride says, come. Femi Lazarus.
Now hear this, there are conversations that what God put to them is a comma, not a full stop.
He's going back there tonight. He said, I'm not the one who builds halfway. That which I told you that you are called for That which I told you that you are anointed for, I am bringing the oil now, for the time has come to begin to see and to begin to do, says the Lord.
He said, I will strengthen your arms and I will make your feet strong. Don't be afraid, for you will not break, says the Lord.
He said, I'm the Lord God of all flesh. Is there anything difficult for me? Amen. There's someone here, you just said in your heart that God, if this is you, send me a specific word. He said, this is it. I will take away the pain pain in the left breast. Just so you know, I came for you tonight, says the Lord. Just so you know, I came for you tonight. And I don't know who that person is, but I stretch my hands towards this house and I release it now. Let the anointing that will begin to move you in this season Touch that person from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet. Let the waters break forth. Let the waters break forth. It will be said about you that a barren land has become a fruitful field. A land in which they've said nothing grow suddenly begin to yield forth much fruit. The Lord said, I am clothing you with a new garment. I am causing my face to shine upon you. The days of reproach will you remember no more. The days of tears will you remember no more. Those who plunder your walls will come near you no more, says the Lord. He said, I will watch over my words to perform them. He said, don't be afraid, I hold you by the hand. Have I not said before you walk before me? Have I not said walk? Take the walk, says the Lord. Have I not said I will be with you as a mighty terrible one? Be not afraid, says the Lord. And the Lord now say, look around you, for the harvest is white, says the Lord. And I place my grace upon you to be a part of the laborers in this season, says the Lord. You will speak, and from the ashes, that which looked like it was burnt, I will cause life to spring forth. For except a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it abides alone, says the Lord.
And now that death has gone forth Behold, I bring forth life from the place of death, says the Lord.
Be not afraid, for it is I who says to you, I am with you as a mighty terrible one.
My covenant of mercy with you will I not break.
My shield around your life will I not take away. The enemy will not exact upon you, says the Lord. We give you praise. Blessed be your holy name. Blessed art thou, Son of David. Blessed art thou. Blessed art thou, Son of David. Amen.
You see why it is important to be led by the Spirit of God. After the morning session, I just told my wife, I said I wasn't going to go back home, I just wanted to stay back in the office to pray. And it was as I was praying, the Lord told me to share the things that I shared, not knowing that I will set the tone for tonight's meeting. I just wanted to share, to just obey God and just get out of the way. And by that same token, I think God has established a covenant relationship between us and Apostle Femi Lazarus, and we must— no, no, no, see, I know we like getting excited about things. What I'm saying, it's not something you should be excited about. It's that there's a work God wants to do. We'll have to team up together to get certain things done. And I trust God for— because as it was ministering, I just saw it, um, that point that something was transferred. I mean, the lesson is that always obey God no matter what, because when I came up, I was like, our time has gone, should I still go ahead? But I kept on getting that witness in my spirit, share it. And, um, thank God we did. Thank God we did. So we'll continue tomorrow morning, but before go. Let's just be seated for 1 minute, just 1 minute. Can we give to the Lord as we close the meeting tonight? Then while they're putting the account on the screen, I want to appreciate all the men of God, from Pastor Collins to Pastor, uh, King and his wife, Pastor Blessing and Pastor Faith, Pastor Shagun, Shodimu. Okay, and of course, I
