The Lord said to decree and declare over that woman— I don't know who you are, I I don't know what this case is. In less than 72 hours, that which the enemy has built up for a while and built up over time, I command it dissolved. Maybe the person is not here. In less than 72 hours, it is dissolved. Ah, okay. Am I reading Okay, let's— okay, yeah, I read from there. And the two sons of Eli, Ophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there. Verse 4. And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and daughters portions. Verse 5 now. But to Hannah he gave a worthy portion, for he loved Hannah, but the Lord had shut up her womb. Now that's a very dangerous conclusion. It's a bad theology. And you see, most times in the Old Testament, when things happen that are not so nice, they say God has brought it It's a bad place to be. And that's the reason why we don't judge the character of God through the lens of the Old Testament, but through the epistles. There is something called the convergence of his thoughts throughout the scriptures. One way the devil can prolong people stay in the wilderness is to be responsible for things and give you the impression that God is the one doing it. What God is trying to do is to solve the problems, not to afflict you with problems. Do you understand what I'm saying here? And sometimes some of these conclusions can also come. Maybe someone feels, I made a mistake and then God is trying to judge me.

He wants to restore. That's what he wants to do. In Romans chapter number 8, from verse 1, says, there is now therefore no condemnation. The devil is the accuser of brethren, not God. I was listening to the testimonies people were sharing and I was just shaking my head. And I just told Dey with me in the green room and I said, it's like these people like PR. Is it true? Is there anyone whose own is being delayed as we speak now? By the power and the authority in the name of Jesus, everything that has held it back till now is out of the way. For some of you, this is I'm using Nigerian time, don't mind me. 1st of October already, before the sunset, you begin to receive mails. You know, I don't have to do drama for God to move. It will happen so fast you won't believe it. There's a particular guy who came here who believed that when pastors are giving prophecy, it's word of knowledge, um, is guesswork. Hang on, that guy, God told me about you, so just stay. Hold on. Yeah, so they kept on provoking her. And she wept and said, I'm done eating. This, this is the equivalence of saying, you know what, I'm going into stretch of fasting. There's nothing more funny than seeing people who should be fasting feasting. It doesn't make sense. There comes a season in your life that food becomes loathsome. You can't swallow. I've shared my story. I just got to that season, you know, sometimes that you are having fun doesn't mean that things are all right. It can be a sign that your eyes of understanding is not enlightened yet. The day your eyes get open, you pray. There are people who are sitting right in the midst of battles that should declare and fight it out in prayer, but you know what they're doing? They're watching Netflix and watching Korean drama, and they know all the names of the Korean and say, this one is Soos Glees, this one is— they call all those funny names. Tell your neighbor, you should be praying. Tell your neighbor again, we should be praying. And I want to announce this ahead. As we get into the— we're going to make the announcement later on during PPC. We're going to be praying 8 hours. Listen, till 2026. Every day doing what? One of the best thing God can do to help you is to bring you to the company of people who are betting. Because if you are left by yourself alone, that thing can die inside. So what God does is that he brings— the same way he brought Saul to the company of prophets, and the spirit on the prophet rested upon Saul And they said, is Saul also among the prophets?

In like manner, God needs to bring you to the company of men praying, because if left to you by yourself, you will not pray.

Somebody might be seated here today because the babe said, I'm going to go and just go. I said, I also go with you. Like what Peter said in John 21, we go out fishing, say we go with you. But God has led you here mysteriously by his mighty power. Oh yes, so that you can touch destiny tonight. I didn't hear a big amen today. There comes a time in people's lives that they can't take it anymore. Just say, I'm done. I've reached my final bus stop. Again, many of you can still endure it some more time. Some can sit there 2 more years, some can sit there 3 more years. Some Christians don't even mind the devil taking what belongs to them. Like, they just— it's fun. Like, Satan, play with me, you know, enjoy small. When I, when I'm ready, I'll come for it. So, you know, those who believe what will be will be. Yeah, that anything that is mine, I always get it. So yeah, yeah, so you're just— I tell you, you lie. I'm going to show you scriptures. So she got really provoked, and look at what the Bible said here next. So she began to cry in verse 8. Then said Elkanah, her husband, to her, Anna, why weepeth thou Why eatest thou not? Why is thy heart grieved? Am I not better to thee than 10 sons? Is that true? The devil is a liar. So Hannah rose up after she had eaten in Shiloh— after they had eaten, sorry, and they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat by the seat of the post of the temple of the Lord, and she was in bitterness of soul. And prayed unto the Lord and wept sore, and she vowed a vow and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou will indeed look on the affliction of your handmaid and remember me and forget not your handmaid, but will give unto your handmaid a man child I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. You know what she did? She moved from just desire to becoming specific. Sometimes the reason why there's delay around our prayers is that we don't know what we want. 'Father, in the name of Jesus, I just want to be all right.' What are you talking about? 'Father, in the name of Jesus, you know, this year I just want to laugh.' You can laugh by watching a comedy. She got specific. And look at this, the moment She saw beyond herself. She got the attention of God. And let me tell you what that means. That thing you are crying to God for, I don't know what it is, maybe whatever it is, until you learn to situate your need in the purposes of God, you are not ready. I know you have a need. I And that's one thing. Oh, there are things we want God to do this for me, open doors, let things change. What aspect of his eternal plan is that need coming to meet? God wants to do more than giving you a PR. He wants to do more than getting you a job. He wants to give more than giving you many things. He wants your soul. He doesn't want to give you what would destroy you.

When men—

when you are absorbed with your own need and can't find it in respect to his plan, you can get what you want and not want what you get. Was God not going to give her a child? It had been in his eternal plan that Samuel, one of the most notable prophets of the Bible, the man that Bible says that his word doesn't fall to the ground, was going to come from that loins. There are times it is what God will do, but the womb is not ready. He's going to do it, but why? Oh Lord, you know, I want you to do this for me so that those who have thought I can't become anything back home, you pepper them. God is not going to join league with you to pepper anybody. He's too eternal in his plan that he won't— see, listen, and I want to say this loud and clear: God doesn't come down to your level. You are the one that should ascend. He's God. Let me show you another scripture. Maybe we can just quote that for the sake of time. You know the story of Abraham. God met him at 75. At 75, meaning that Abraham by himself without God interrupting him, was naturally childless. But what God was doing now was that he came to take advantage of that situation and to make his glory manifested there. So it was not God who blessed Abraham with barrenness so God could teach him faith.

He had a need.

And what was God doing in the life of Abraham? He was going to trace the lineage of the patriarchs and ultimately the Messiah. So that Abraham will have a child is as powerful as the need for Christ to come, because he had chosen a family from the face of the earth, and his words will not be broken. Listen, there are eternal things sealed concerning you that is not yet apparent, but he will do it.

Now, while you are in the process of time that you are not seeing that thing, he wants you to mature beyond the need that you now understand that— hold on a minute—

Abraham can never father Isaac until he fathers nations. What does that mean? You can't father Isaac till you first father men that you didn't give birth to. That you trained. You can't father Isaac till you begin to intercede for Sodom on your knees. You can't father Isaac just because you have a need. First, your spiritual womb will be active and you start birthing through that. Are you following what I'm saying here?

Look at the plan of God.

Genesis chapter number 3, right at that point that man fell A prophecy already went out from God: the seed of the woman will bruise the head of the serpent, and the serpent will bruise the heel of the seed of the woman. So it was clear God was going to trace something for himself. And now, of all families on the face of the earth, he picked that pagan Abraham. I said, get out of your father's house, get out of your kindred, follow me to a place I will show you. And I tell you this, it is faith when you don't have complete pictures. You know, some of us want the God who has given us— I want to know that 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, what God will say is, follow me. I will not just show you, I will make you as you follow.

So it was important—

do you understand what I'm saying?

In the plan of God, that Abraham cannot be left childless. He couldn't be left childless.

You see, once you are the one with the need, that's when it is possible for you to start doubting. Maybe God has designed your life in such a way that at the end of the day, it will be glorified still in you not having it. But the one you are asking is not dwelling in the present. The future is still a past as far as he's concerned, and he has gone ahead of you to make all the crooked paths straight. Listen, there is no panic where he is. There's no panic. It is just his plans unfolding, and there are plans that will only unfold as you mature. The same thing that you will grow to undo well can destroy you without growth. I understand human needs or human want. They said it's insatiable. We, as we are sitting, if God should come now and say bring a blank, some will even break down in tears and say, God, I don't know if this will ever happen. According to what is written, yes, he's interested in doing it more than you are interested in receiving it. Was God not going to give Abraham a child? Before Abraham was born, he already wielded— you know the name they were calling him? The one that God wielded the heaven and the earth to. It was expedient that he gets his child. At some point he said, um, Lord, um, maybe Eleazar is going to be the one take over. I say I go childless. And said, no, I'm going to give you your own, and that your own will come through your wife Sarah. Look at this. If that promise didn't come to pass, there will be no David, there will be no Moses, there will be no Daniel, there will be no Jacob, there will be no Isaac, there will be no Isaiah, no Ezekiel. All the patriarchs were locked in his loins. The plan of God, the agenda of God was So let me ask you a question: who is more desperate to get it done? The moment you align, that you see your need in his need, that's when everything teals open. The moment is no longer about give me, give me, You know, so that we, we don't have need-based prayer life and need-based Christianity. And you know the danger of need-based Christianity is that people who live like that, they may look like they pray, but the moment they experience little comfort, they, they forget God. You know why? They only needed God as a means to an end.

If your journey with God and the needs are intertwined with his eternal plans As long as there is breath in your nostrils, you need him.

Let me tell you this: God knows those who need him for a while and those who need him for life. I want you to preach this gospel to your neighbor. God wants to do it more than you want it. Maybe that neighbor is not really listening. You want to turn to another? I say, see, God is interested in doing it more than you desire it. You know, one of these days we were renovating my office, so we're bringing out journals. And journals. And I just sat down and I opened one, and I saw where I wrote in the journal, I shall now begin 3 days fasting and prayer and ask God why he will send me into ministry without a shoe. When I opened that part in my journal Of course I did the fasting. I remember the day I wrote it. I had cried because— hey, should I tell you this story? We're going to have ordination, and you know, our senior pastor had come. It was branch-level ordination, so they said people should go on their knees. Hey, I didn't want to, and not because I was proud or the man of God is not the man of God, but because, you know, before you come out for altar call those days, you calculate so you can be in the front.

There's a reason.

It's not so that God can touch you. There was a reason. The shoe I was wearing, the supporting structure of the shoe was my leg. So there was a big hole. So that day when the man of God said, all right, all of you go on your knees now, I was the last man standing because the church were all standing and all that. I was thinking, should I quickly remove it and kneel down? But he said, my friend, kneel down, kneel down. So I knelt down and I heard people quietly say Ah, nobody see bought me a shoe. Just so you see Christianity, they were pouring oil on us, but I was in tears. I said, no, no, this is— this embarrassment is too much. I'm getting up from this place. There's food will not touch my mouth again till God you send me shoe. I fasted 3 days and 3 nights. It didn't send shoe. When I was getting married, I bought more than 15 shoes. My wife said, so you are buying shoes? I said, see, it's personal. I said, see, just do your stuff, but you see, don't come between me and this shoe. See, you don't—

just, just—

you fine, right? I'll, I'll buy again.

I'll buy.

I said, this thing afflicted me, I will afflict you too. But if God is going to send a man around the world, do you not think God will give the man more than shoes? There is something called the process of time, and it is not there to make a fool out of you. Once you can see that need beyond what satisfies you immediately and see yourself in the context of his eternal plan There are some of you who are trusting God for a child. What an insult! What God wants to give you is a nation. And that's not a way to console you and say, so at the end of the day, if you don't get a child, say anyways you have a nation because you're a Sunday school teacher in your church. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a child that will be to you like a nation. Let me share a story with you so you can understand that it is not every time God speaks in parable that he's joking. Let me call the years precisely. Year 2012, um, no, 2013. I got a call around 9 PM. It was a distress call. They said, Pastor, where are you? I said, I'm in my house. Please come now, your daughter is dead. So I started running. They actually called me from an orphanage where I was pastoring. So when I got to the place I saw her, my spiritual daughter. They had packed her, they had put cotton wool in her nose, in her ears, and they now carried a bowl of salt and placed on her chest. And people were just hanging around saying, 'Eya,' and this and all that. I looked at her, we still spoke Some days before now, God didn't tell me she would die.

I—

that family has been so afflicted, and that's why tonight, hey, everything that look like affliction will fall. Just, just, just, just, just, just follow me. I just told them, I said, all of you gather yourselves now. I called the mother of the house, the siblings of the girl that died. I said, everybody follow me. So we went upstairs. I said, carry her body. They removed the salt, wrapped her, and carried the body and climbed the staircase with the body with me. We placed the body down in our midst, and guess what God said to do? He said to begin to conduct deliverance for everyone in the family.

I was—

they thought I wanted to pray that God should raise her. I didn't have that faith, so I began to pray. You need to see manifest demonic siege upon the family. By past 2 in the morning, God said to me that I should tell them that now she's asleep. So I said, this is what the Lord said: your sister, she's asleep. And even this, she's asleep, that I had— I thought God is saying, you know, the way they said. So they carried her, of course lifeless, and now start getting stiffened, and took her downstairs. And left her alone in the room. They went back to the same procedure— cutting wool, salt on her chest. By 5 AM, I heard noise in the house because I had to stay over. People were running up and down, scrambling everywhere. What's going on? She got up.

She got up.

Now Because nobody wants to stay in a room with a corpse. So they just start hearing somebody saying, I want to drink water, I want to drink water. And one of them peeped, ah, and ran. You know, you know why I like the testimony? Because God revived her himself. Now when she got up, they were all running. So now, Pastor, do you want to run too? So I was the only one that could go towards her, and I sat down. Just last night, a few hours ago, lifeless body, now sitting with me. And she was looking at me and just shaking her head. Just shaking her head. Then she mentioned that all she noticed was that someone just stood by her and said, I want to take you on a journey. And said the man held her hands and brought her to a place and said, this has always been yours, but the sons of men didn't allow you touch it. Say, but now You can take it. Then brought her— guess what? Brought her to another place and showed her children. She had waited for years. I said, you see all these children? God already allocated them to you, but the sons of men didn't allow you touch them. Now take them, they are yours. And brought her to another place again. So she didn't just come back from the dead, she came back possessing her possession. The God who quickens the dead, what do you think he will do with the living? Abandon you? After that experience, our life went from night to day. Can I tell you one of the things that happened? Let me tell you. She had been married I didn't know I was going to get into this story. One time the husband, this same person, went to work and never returned. And they moved from sending text message to, I'm sorry, I'm tired of this. Talk about demonic, demonic manipulation. I'm tired of this marriage, it won't work, this, this. Every effort to set eyes on him, get people there, he won't allow.

So they had given up.

All families begged. Said he was done. Went to marry somebody else. After that experience, he got up one morning. And the new wife greeted him. You know his question? Who are you? He said, I'm telling you a real life story. Say, who are you? Say, ah, what kind of place is this now? Stop that. Say, I said, who are you? What are you doing in my bedroom? Where am I? Say, I'm your wife. You then began to mention the name of the former wife after how many years? Everything that we as pastors cannot say will be restored— you hear about some losses, you don't even have the faith to say there'll be restoration, because where will it come from? There are some— the Bible says I will restore to you the years that the locusts and the kakams have eating. Listen, listen, they ate it. You know why locusts and cockroaches are dangerous? Once locusts are eating, they are defecating. So it means I will restore to you the things that men will look at and have deemed irrestorable. The things that maybe you too, among the list of the things that are possible that can be reversed, maybe something else but not this one. And we began to look at our life unfold like, like you are watching a movie. Listen, I'm decreeing tonight, if there's anyone here with a situation that looks so bad that even when you look at it you are afraid and you are not sure if anything can be done, by the power of the Lord tonight, let there be restoration. Maybe the person has not come yet, but for those who believe, let there be restoration.

Everything that hell has swallowed, vomit it back! Take it back in the name of Jesus! Take it back in the name of Jesus!

And as she opened the door, I shook her hands. I said, how are you doing? The moment we shook hands, she began to scream and began to manifest some very strange thing and carried a bottle and was going to stab her baby on the bed. I said, no, don't touch that, that's my child. You don't touch that child in Jesus' name.

She paused.

We had to cast out a devil from handshake, because sometimes the devil can hide in places till fire manifests him out. I'm telling you, that's why meetings like this are so important. People are carrying things they don't even know, and those things are— they are invisible, but their activities are visible. So I cast out the devil. Guess what she said? She said, Pastor, how did you get here? I said, you called me. Then she broke down in tears and said, I will tell you what happened. She said she was sleeping. That's the week before that day. That a man came— oh, look at that— came in through the wall and led her into the jungle. And they've been beating her for a week, but people were seeing her. She was doing everything, going to work and returning. But in actual terms, where was she?
