HOW TO LABOUR IN PRAYER IN MINISTRY 2 || APOSTLE FEMI LAZARUS

In this extended live teaching, Apostle Femi Lazarus exhorts pastors and believers to recognize that the "last days" are marked by perilous, self‑centered and materialistic attitudes (2 Timothy 3) and that the church must be equipped with deep, intercessory prayer to survive spiritual warfare. He repeatedly stresses that without a prayer‑first strategy, ministries become entertainment, lose fire, and become vulnerable to the devil’s attacks. He interprets biblical passages (Ezekiel 33, Matthew 24, James 5, Acts 12, Ephesians 3) to illustrate the need for solid spiritual covering, heartfelt ("heart‑wrenching") prayer, and the anointings he names Memshak (spreading) and Anakazu (propelling). Lazarus describes prayer as a dynamic, contracting process akin to labor, leading to breakthroughs symbolized by a "rain of favor" and "breakthroughs" in ministry. He urges the audience to engage in continuous, fervent prayer, to claim anointings, to be radical in teaching, and to anticipate supernatural empowerment that can compress years of work into months. The session ends with collective prayer, declarations of anointing, and a call to envision new visions and capacities for the end‑time church.
Chapters
Glory to God. Father, we receive insight. And revelation knowledge. You will anoint these lips of clay to bring forth your counsel, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Glory to God. All right, 2 Timothy chapter number 3. I'm just going to continue from there. 2 Timothy 3 from verse 1. 2 Timothy 3 from verse 1. This know also— if you are there, say amen. All right. But this know, or but know this, that in the last days perilous times will what?
Come.
Yes, verse 2. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, and begins to list and list different kind of things that we will see in the days. But the word that the Bible used to describe the season is the word perilous time. All right, I want us to look at that same scripture, um, from Amplified— sorry, Message translation. 2 Timothy 3:1 from Message: Don't be naive. There are difficult times ahead. Can we read this together? 1, 2, 3, go! Don't be naive, there are difficult times ahead. All right, you want to preach that gospel to your neighbor? There are difficult times ahead. Say to another neighbor, let them hear. There are difficult times ahead. All right, so it means that— please pay attention— it means the template of the last day church Oh my, there is no reference to the past as touching the kind of difficulty the church is about to deal with. Every generation have their own challenges to deal with, but the Bible says, all right, separated the last day church and said they will be in difficult times. So it means if you are doing ministry now, all right, you came in a season that the Bible said is difficult. That, that orientation needs to settle, all right. With this background, it means that there are kinds of mindset that if you bring to ministry now, you won't do well. You know why? Because we are not equipped for the difficult days ahead. There is, there is an equipping required. Amen. All right, there is what? There's an equipping required. So it says perilous times shall come. Then one of the signs of these difficult days is that men will be lovers of their own selves. Unfortunately, there are messages you can hear from the altar that takes your heart from God so that you begin to love yourself more than God. All right, it is unfortunate, but it can happen. So you begin to see narratives that, um, push men to be less concerned about God and more concerned about self. One of the reasons why the Nigerian Christian— not all— fight the subject of tithe is that we Nigerian Christians just hate the idea of giving. But what the Bible even says to the New Testament church is that when it comes to money, it is stewardship. Are you seeing that? So you, you approach God with the mindset that he owns everything. I've been given the privilege to manage this on his behalf. That's, that's the world you are dealing with. Now, the implication of that is you will either have to know scriptures and stand on it, or out of insecurity, bend to the two. And that's why I told you yesterday that if you don't have prayer life, you can't have a message. If you refuse to study, you can't have a message. You will teach what is trending, and the fact that it is making wave doesn't mean God is there. So it means the equipping of the pastors that will pastor the end-time church is an equipping to be solid. Are you there?
To be what?
Solid. Rock solid. Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money. Now look at what the Bible says in Ezekiel 33. Ezekiel 33, let's start reading from verse 30. A Message translation. Ezekiel 33, look at it. As for you, Son of Man, you have become quite the talk of the town. Your people meet on the street corners and in front of their houses and say, let's go hear the latest news from God. Yes, verse 31, they show up as people tend to do and sit in your company They listen to you speak but don't do a thing you say. They flatter you with compliments, but all they care about is making money and getting ahead. So there is a reason that people, people, they've, they've become familiar with the environment of church. You know why? That happens when the tongue of the man of God is not coated with fire. That your sermon note is full doesn't mean you have utterance. Utterance is guided speech. Say what God wants the people to hear the way he wants them to hear it, with the tongue of fire. All right, I remember something happened recently. Um, somebody went to tag me online. And said that his message against our community, their community— and what's their community? The community of men sleeping with men— that the way he preaches against their community, that it is preachers like me that fuels it, that where is love in the church? The love of God is not the love that endorses men. Sleeping with men, then you come to church and then among my boys you want to have a boyfriend as a man. God punish the devil.
The—
listen to what I'm saying. Unless the Holy Spirit guides your utterance, you will preach with assumption that you are dealing with issues and you are not touching anything. People can come wearing suit. Are you with me? And what the suit is covering is more than what your eyes can see. It will take the tongue that has been used in the place of prayer to eat it. If not, you will just become an entertainment, one whose sound is like one who brings voice of music to the people. You are not touching anything. You get to a point in your ministry, you have become an entertainment.
Why?
Because we are not bringing the word from the place of prayer and intercession. These are difficult days. Are you with me?
Tough times that you, you can't function on the surface and touch anything. You can't. All right, I showed you yesterday from the book of 2 Peter how that the Bible liken these days to the days of Lot and the days of Noah. These are the days that evil dominated the earth, spreading everywhere. Now if you look at the book of Matthew chapter number 24, Matthew 24. If you are there, say amen. Now look at what the Bible says in verse 12. Matthew 24:12, I read in King James, the Project Message says, and because iniquities abound, the love of many shall what? Wax cold. Now look at it, say, for many others, the overwhelming spread of evil will will do them in. Nothing left of their love but a mound of ashes. That is, there is a wave— listen to what I'm saying— there is a wave of evil. How is it spreading? Consciousness. Everywhere you turn, you see something. And let me tell you something, the idea of consistency is to neutralize your belief. If there are consistent thoughts being presented to you again, it is to water down what you believe. And that's the reason why the devil keeps pushing in certain narratives again and again to water down your—
are you with me?—
your consciousness.
God help you, you are doing ministry now and you are not trained in the science of Bible interpretation. You can hear people sound so nice, but they are not interpreting scriptures. So there's going to be widespread of evil.
The, the, the perilous times is— the word perilous is the word difficult, the word dangerous, from the word peril. It is like that because it is the days of darkness. It is the days of darkness. I was ministering, think I've shared the story with you. Somewhere, and it's a place you would almost assume everybody's fine. And a girl was there who said they sent her to send me on a journey of no return. No, many of you pastors believe that the days of witches and wizards coming to your meeting to silence you, you think those days are in the past. Now you believe because you are new creation ministry that the revival going on in your assembly is not a threat to the devil. May I announce to you, he wants the fire shut down. And until the environment becomes an environment saturated with fire, you are not safe. In fact, if you are the only one praying in your ministry, you are not safe. The entry point will be those who are not praying, and they will be undoing. Once they begin to— see, you start noticing spread of offense, spread of different strange distractions. And the devil is bringing those things to water down your message. And how does he do that? First, to take you out of the place of prayer. The moment you can take a man from the altar, the candlestick is dry. You assume that because people are speaking Fune, all right, that in the ministries there, there is not at least one agent there whose assignment is to make sure that that message doesn't go out. So what happens is that your fire is not burning, so you react to everything and you burn out. You build with one hand and scatter. If you are noticing widespread, consistent threats of offense in your circle, the devil is there and he wants to shut you down. He wants to shut you down. Are you with me? He wants to shut you down by all means necessary. You see, I, I don't want to get into conversations around this one, all right? There are times God gives me a lot and say, pay attention, they want you mute. The way to respond to that is not coming to church. And say, all of you who want me mute, I mute you. Ah, you will get to the place of prayers on your knees. I was listening to the story of two men who went to the meeting of Billy Graham, and they had one assignment. When the time comes for altar call, that's where I rush to the front, they will go to the front also, and they had pistols in their hand. They were to open fire on him. And just remove the pistol and shoot him in a way that nobody will know what shot— who shot Billy Graham. Both of them did not know the force that moved them from where they were standing. All they knew was that they made themselves in front crying and giving their life to Christ. Imagine doing ministry at that level and you are checked out and it's bragging but no fire. You know, when you brag about fire, there are forces that want to check it out. So imagine that it was empty noise. You just say the man of God left too soon, but it was actually that fire was checked and it was missing. You can't do ministry at the time that the devil knows that this is his last count and you do ministry like you are in a fun field.
You've got to pray. You have to pray. Everyone in the house needs to pray. Anyone who has contact with you needs to pray.
Now let me show you scriptures. Ephesians chapter number 4, let's start the reading from verse 14. Give me this scripture in Message translation. Ephesians 4. Amen. If you are there, say amen. If you are there, say amen. Now Ephesians 4:14, look at this. No prolonged infancies amongst us, please.
We will not tolerate babes.
Where?
In the woods. Small children, one easy mark for impostors. That is, you, you can't leave your circle uncovered. It doesn't matter how passionate people are, if they are not praying, they are the entry point. And you will dispense your virality dealing with matters of the heart, and before you know it, you have no message. In fact, before you lose your message, you bleed on it. Let me tell you how to bleed on your message. You begin to speak to attack issues. Then the weight of Christ in it is reduced. It can fly. The moment you do— you try to do in the energy of the flesh what the Holy Spirit should do, you have lost your message. That is, you try to use the message to deal with known issues when it is the Holy Ghost that should work the work of convictions. That's you bleeding. That's you bleeding. No prolonged infancies. Many of you this meeting and get everyone in your circle to the place of prayer. There must be minimum quota of prayer. When the battle is fierce, anyone that has hands must be trained to wield sword. Huh? Are you here? You yourself as the minister, pray. You see, if you stop praying, you'll have casualties. The, the, the problem will begin from those who are interceding for you. They will start dying one by one. I'm telling you, the devil doesn't fight fair. When he fights, he fights to win. Are you here? I, I would, I would give you an illustration of the way prayer is. It's a back, forward, and reverse reaction. I'm telling you, you pray. I will pray. Look at the way you are saying it. Look, look at, look at you. Say it again. I will pray.
I will pray.
With this one life, this one life, I will pray.
I will pray.
Look at what Peter said. The church was about to face serious persecution, and persecution follows revival. You need to know that if you are not ready for persecution, then don't pray for expansion. They move hand in hand. Now look at what Peter said in Acts 6. Are you there? When there was destruction in the church, they were beginning to fight themselves. But this is not food. God was moving to move the gospel from where they were. They were fighting about food. The, the, the break Jews are neglected, and then these ones are neglected. Paul said, Peter said, it's not a reason for us to leave the world and serve at tables. Said, look amongst you men of honest report, full of the Holy Spirit, that we can appoint over this business. But look at what he said in verse 4. He said, but we, say, but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to meet— to the ministry of the word. That's, that's, that's the route. That's, that's the strategy for end-time ministry. It is not billboard first, it is prayer first. It is not social media first, it is prayer first. Now let me say this to you: teaching ministry is an offensive ministry. Let me tell you something. Look up. If you are called to teach, wave your hands. Maybe it's part of your calling, don't worry. All right, put your hands down now. Um, Pastor Julius, come. Now you see a full-grown man like this will strap bomb under his jacket and go to a place and explode himself. What did they give him to do that? His teaching.
His teaching.
Let me tell you something, real teaching ministry is radicalization ministry. It's not sitting on the fence. If you teach people, they are to be radicalized in Christ. You see, people, we are funny in Nigeria. You mock a church and say, I am chosen. You have— you mock them. What did people learn to get to the point that they were wearing apron? In America they wear the apron, in UK they wear the apron, in Nigeria they wear the apron. And they would tell you, see, their testimonies are their testimonies, not yours. When they say that thing, they say that, where is the God of my pastor power?
He shows up.
Just make sure you have the one that you call and show up, because it is unfortunate not to have and blame them. When trouble comes, you will shout, Femi choosing.
I'm telling you, are you with me?
You've not seen—
see, let me tell you, you've not seen real trouble. When you see real trouble, you know there's something called spiritual covering.
You think people are daft? Some of them have observed that we are in a car, 2 people died, one person didn't die, he's wearing choosing apron.
You can talk, but those men prayed into those realities. If you say what you have is too shpree, so that it is not just soft and weightless. You may present it looking soft, but make sure there is depth. There's depth. There's depth. There must be a corrosive grace in the ministry that the devil knows this is a touch not, this is a go not.
Are you there? You enter through what?
Prayer.
Everything by prayer. About your message, pray. About the ministry, pray. About expansion, pray. We break territories through prayer, telling you. You get to territories, you don't know what to do.
Pray.
As you pray, angels are released. They begin to condition atmospheres. The supernatural is real. From the moment Daniel set his heart to seek God, God sent an angel to bring what?
Understanding.
But he didn't stop. He said, for 21 days the Prince of Persia withstood me there till God sent Michael.
You know who Michael is? Something is at stake and that guy is not going to stop praying till you release. Everything by prayer, that's the secret. Say it again: we will give ourselves—
come on, say it again—
continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word. Now anytime you hear the subject of prayer and your heart caught, that, that means you need to start praying. If you hear we are doing 5 hours and your heart skips, that, that means you are not gyming enough, you are not exercising enough. You pray till it becomes a lifestyle because you can't enter destiny by luck. Prayer programs you to enter the will of God.
It makes you sharp.
The days of boastful strategies that is not from the spirit, those days are over. We're in dark times. We're in dark times. We're in— can I give you a minute to check you out?
Will you pray?
Pray in the Holy Ghost for the next 1 minute.
That's not how to start your engine. Roar in tongues. Oh, pray, pray, pray, pray.
When we pray, he answers us. When we cry, he hears our voice. We are not alone, God is with us. Emmanuel, Emmanuel. When we pray, he hears our voice.
Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray. Pray, pray, pray. Pray everything by prayer.
In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Sit down for a while. Let me tell you something, you don't have to know anything about the territory. If you can pray, it will open.
Force—
there are, there are two anointings I want you to contend for tonight. I hope we will be able to. The first is called Memshak. It is the anointing to spread. Are you there? That when you touch something, it spreads. The second is called Anakazu. It is the power that propels. The nature of the heart of men doesn't respond to things until there's power. You see, look up. Let me Look up, look at me. Yes, you are a minister of the gospel, right? There's a call upon your life. Let's say we have different kind of ministers here. We have associate pastors, we have lead pastors, then we have those who are doing the works. Maybe not a church work, some work. The substance of every ministry is the word. Whether you sing any form of eulogy that can pass for the devil should not pass for God. Any moku, any komo is not for God. If it can pass for the devil and the devil will shake himself, don't use it to God, for God. Because songs is actually a revelation of your doctrine in melodies. Praise God. Are you there? Please be seated. But look up, everybody. One of the things the devil has distracted the church from is prayer. Many talk about it, many write about it, but only few are doing it. Once you begin to engage prayer, then you will now discover that the peace you have been enjoying is not because you were fine. It is because you were not touching the devil where it hurts. As you enter the place of prayer, you are— that is when you now understand what real warfare is. Come, let me give you an illustration. If he comes out to fight me, all right, and he comes here and he's boxing the air, box the air, and he's boxing, and I'm here untouched Untouched is boxing passionately. Is that how to box? You touch the streets more now, box now. Ah, he's a touch pastor. You, you will beat this one. Hold on, can I have a pastor that knows the streets more? Anybody? Oh, you, you know the streets. You're also a soft man, but you know the streets more. Oh, okay, okay. You touch the streets more. Now box. Now look at him, and he's boxing passionately, but the one he's fighting is untouched. He will have smooth face at the end of his whatever fight because he didn't touch me enough to react. Peace is not necessarily a sign that you know how to fight. It can be a sign that you are not touching anything yet. When you begin to touch the devil where it ought in your territory, you will fight. One of the ways you know those who are inflicting injuries on the enemy in the territory is that they are the ones they attack. If attacks are not coming, you have not touched something. When God— see, let me tell you something. You can, you can finish preaching a message and there's no trouble at the end of it. It's because of the range of your voice. If the range of your voice is increased, that same message will bring trouble on your head. That doesn't mean you are wrong. It means now you are speaking at a pace that some principalities can hear. And may God help you when that time comes, you have the spine to fight. And having done all, you can stand. Are you with me?
We cannot survive if we have not trained our hands to war.
And how do we do it? In the place of prayer. The devil wants to knock you out, he wants to numb you, he wants to mute your voice, he wants to reduce the sound of your assignment. He wants to make you distracted. He wants you to get engaged in the wrong things. He wants to paralyze your sound. He wants to weaken you from inside out. He wants to engage you in offense and strife.
You break yourself from the shackles. You break yourself from— you pray in the Holy Ghost till you no longer feel earthly.
Are you there?
You see, this one is not warfare yet. You are first taking yourself away from the horizon of the rich. Away from the point where your heart is so much on the floor, it is being trampled by everything you see. You pray out. There is— there is—
please sit for a while. Look at what the Bible says in James chapter number 5. James chapter number 5. The end time church must be a praying church. The end time church must pray. The end time church must pray. Say it again, I will pray. James 5, if you are there, say amen. Before I take you to James 5, let me take you to Acts of the Apostles chapter number 12. Acts 12, let's start reading from verse 1. Now about that time, Herod stretched forth his hand to vex certain of the church, and he killed James, the brother of John, with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. Then were the days of Unleavened Bread, and when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison delivered him to 4 quaternions of soldiers to keep him, intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Peter was kept in prison, but what?
But prayer.
I saw an illustration from a man of God that I respect, Pastor Sunday. If you tie something heavy on a rope, all right, and it's dangling, right? Even the fellow who can't lift it can push it. The illustration is, as long as a matter is in the air, it can be addressed. If it touches the ground, becomes weightier. There are things you perceive that the devil is about to do this while it is in the realm of perception. You can handle it. But if you allow it hit the ground, you will need double effort. Prevention is better than cure.
There are—
listen to what I'm saying— because until you start engaging in prayer, James will die and you say because God never had a plan for him. That is, the people that God brought to you who could change your lives, you will see—
let me tell you—
you'll be cheated on many grounds if you are not praying. Yorubas have an adage. They say it is the one who is not at home that the goat gives birth to one. They will share inheritances behind your back if you are not praying, and they will be distributed among God's children.
People will get into territories, you don't know what to do, nobody's calling you for anything, it doesn't look like there's a light shining around your ministry, it doesn't look like what you are doing is working.
Pray!
Once you pray, you are doing accurate ministry. Pray! If you are speaking to two, pray. Memshak will carry it from there. You will not be able to tell how what you are telling two spread like wildfire.
You pray.
Publicity Jesus engaged in, Mark— Matthew 4. Once he returned in power, his fame went across board.
We address matters in the place of what?
Prayer.
We prepare for the technicality. The change— you can see that the dynamics have changed. The questions that were answered with our theories before cannot be answered. The people who have answers for the next generation are not those who are smart, but those who are engaging God to hear his heartbeat, to know how we shall answer.
There are questions in front of the church that the church has no answers for yet.
They have accused us, they have accused us that all miracles are stage managed.
That is a good accusation because accusation is demanding for the authentic. There are things you hear that if you don't get to the place of prayer and fasting, maybe you have no lot in the business. If you are not angry— what did David hear now when he got to the camp of the He heard Goliath speaking against him. Where are the Davids now who are angry and say, how dare you defy the name of God of Israel, Femi Lazarus? If you hear certain things and you go back to bed numb, your fire is down. There are things I go online, I lock myself again. You don't raise your head to speak until he speaks. There must be an answer. There must be an answer. There must be an answer. Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray.
There is work ahead of the church. Pray. There's work, there's work ahead of the church.
Femi Lazarus.
There's work. God wants to expand your tentacles. He wants to expand your reach. He wants to expand your touch. He wants to give you a space. He wants to commit inheritances to your hands. You can't approach it with the energy of the flesh.
Pray, pray, pray.
Hey, you have 2 more minutes. Engage your spiritual muscles. Hey, engage your spiritual muscles. Engage your spiritual muscles. Engage your spiritual muscles. Engage your spiritual muscles.
Engage it. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Now let me teach you a bit about prayer. Sit down for a while. Not all prayers carry the same weight. Weight. Pay attention now. The fact that in both instances God are crying too doesn't mean they carry the same weight. Pay attention, pay attention, pay attention. Look at what the Bible says, the book of James chapter number 5. James chapter number 5. You're there, say amen. Now let me read James 5. Let's start the reading from verse 13. Is any amongst you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. Is any sick amongst you? Let him call on the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil. In the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. If he had committed sins, he shall— they shall be forgiven. Confess your faults one to another, that you may be healed. What did he say there? The effectual, huh, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails what? Much. Read it again. Ah, the effectual— someone say effectual— fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Now look at it. I love the way Amplified puts it. He said the earnest, heartfelt, continued— now let's, let's break it again. What does it mean to pray and how to pray heartfelt prayer? When you pray heartfelt prayer, it is— I call it heart-wrenching prayers. Usually I, I, I, I do this in the place of intercession, that the burden you are carrying becomes so real that in the place of prayer it is like your heart is about to be ripped from you. Heartfelt prayer is you getting to pray to the point that you can literally perceive and pick the burden of the people you are interceding for. When you pray such prayer, it is very rare for an heartfelt prayer to go without tears because it breaks you. You, you feel it. If you are praying such prayer about breaking your territory, you can personally feel the burden of God. You can feel the pulse about the territory. You, you, you have been praising. It is one thing to do— you see, you— some prayers you praying in tongues, but you are still controlling your vocabularies. When you get to the place of heartfelt prayers You have no vocabularies. You are groaning. I, my If I teach you this, the spirit of prayer will break open here. But let me teach you. There are seasons I enter, I am seeing this is the will of God for us, but I don't have what it takes to reach it. And one of the things I is that the people around me lacks the capacity to enter also. There's training, but there is spiritual capacity. When you get to the place of that prayer, it is like you want to give birth. When a woman wants to give birth, she doesn't have coordinated crying. It is not, babe, babe, I'm pushing, I'm pushing, babe, is the baby, is baby crowning, babe, can you hold my hand?
No. Yeah, you are going, boys. You are going. It is not a joke.
Nothing works till you gone.
That is the point where something must come. You can no longer speak English. When you get to that point, you gone. You want to tear in pieces. We may come out and speak Tush. When we get there— hey boys, listen to me— when you get there, there's a breaking, the water is broken, but the baby is not out. You push, you are groaning.
Listen, listen, listen. Let me teach you something. If you will engage in heartfelt prayers as you should healed, then you will know that the ministry of angels, they are real. You will discover that dryness can be abolished overnight. Look at what the Bible says. Let me show you the scripture. Are you still with me? Is there someone ready to pray? Isaiah chapter number 68, verse 8. Isaiah chapter number 68, verse 8. Isaiah 60— oh, sorry, please, not Isaiah, sorry. Isaiah 66, sorry, 66, 66, verse 8. Oh my, who has heard such a thing?
What?
Seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day, or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Meaning that what ought not to happen at once can happen as soon as you travail.
There is compression, there's compression. Time, space becomes compressed. A reality needs to be born. There's no more waiting for the next 10 years. There's no more waiting for the next 5 years. We go, we travel, we bet.
Amen. Sit down for a while. Sit down for a while. Now let me teach you something. No woman just get up, even 9-month pregnant women. Pastor Joy is here, bear witness to that. You can't just get up because you are in your 9th month and start pushing. No, no, it doesn't happen like that. There's something called contraction. Now contraction is not pleasant. It is the muscular walls of the womb beginning to shrink. And listen to this, and saying, I have held this thing beyond the time appointed. And it begins to shrink. It begins with discomfort, and it's shaking, and it's compressing, and, and there's, there's so much pain.
And the mother can feel that it's getting hard. The womb is getting hard. It's getting Listen to me, it's telling you the time has come for you to grow and travail and push and bet. You don't sit down and mourn it. It's telling you, it is making an announcement that you have entered the season to push, you have entered the season to grow, you have entered the season to bet. Yeah!
Shake it up.
Can I ask you to groan some more, pray some more, push some more, travel the heartfelt— the heartfelt prayer of The righteous man makes tremendous power available. Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray till forces bend. Pray till seasons yield. Pray till there's a tweaking. Pray.
Hey!
Hey, in Jesus' mighty name.
We're praying.
When we pray, he answers us. When we cry, he hears our voice. We are not alone, God is with us.
Emmanuel.
Emmanuel.
When we pray, he answers us. When we cry, he hears our voice. We are not alone, God is with us. Emmanuel.
Emmanuel.
Ah, wait.
Amen, amen. Sit down for a Well, can I teach you a secret? Can I teach you a secret? I tell you, even the forces of resources answers to heartfelt prayers.
Are you there?
What did I say? Even the forces— now I'm telling you, you take what I'm telling because to a measure I can tell you about this straight measure that you will not know that there are locations of favor in the spirit realm until you pray to register your interest. Oh yes, you ask, you, you did not receive because you have not asked. It is he that asketh that receive.
There are things that will— you, you will not know they are distributing it because you have not registered interest. When you stop asking men and start asking God, that's when you are praying. You will know there are forces attentive. The spirit realm is not primitive. The hand of God is not short that he cannot save. His ears are not heavy that he cannot hear. When you pray, he answers. He answers. Is the God who answers by fire.
He answers. He answers.
He answers.
Register your interest.
Register your interest.
Pray, pray, pray.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Sit down for a while. I told you, you see, yeah, just reduce a bit. One time, um, we're praying and we've been engaging the prayer for a while. But what they didn't know was that for hours before we all prayed corporately like that, I had cried like a woman who lost a child. That's the only way I can explain. There was a day I finished praying and I, I was afraid. That maybe the whole neighborhood will be at our door because I was screaming.
Ah, yeah, that's how I was screaming. You—
there's contraction and there are contractions. Just know that I'm about to bet something. It must not be a steel bet. Are you there? See, hear me. We prayed and prayed to a point that we're all praying. That night, the Lord opened my eyes and I saw a dwarf, short-looking spirit run out. What kind of spirit has been compatible with our prayer till we got here? I said, Lord, what's that? And when the spirit ran out, I heard it in Yoruba with a loud voice, "motilowo," as I've left you. And the Lord said, that's the spirit of lack. I thought I had seen resources to a point. When we eat that mark— because listen to what I'm saying, hold on. Once— don't start traveling if you know that you will stop without eating the note of victory. Just like a woman who has started pushing can't stop halfway till she bet it, unless you want to sit on that child and kill the child. So there are prayers that once you start, it doesn't have stopping date.
You only stop the moment you hit that note of victory.
May I can tell you that there are dimension that God give your name to those who don't know you and instruct them that you are their project for help. But it happens through prayer. It happens through prayers. The result of 10 years can be shrinked in a month if you will pray for it. Are you there? It can, it can. Let me— particularly if you are here and for a while you have been sensing that there is something around but you have not touched it, why don't you bet it now?
Bet yourself, bet it, bet it, bet it in the place of prayer.
Just, just a keyboard.
Pray!
Let the church pray!
Pray!
I told you in this conference we will pray. In this conference we will pray. In this conference, we will pray, pray till you bet it, pray till you bet it, pray till you see it, pray till the waters break. Pray, pray, pray till the restrictions are broken. The tentacles are broken. Break through, break through, break through, break through, break through, break through.
Femi Lazarus.
As soon as Zion travails, she brings forth. It doesn't have to be hard. Do the work in the place of prayer.
Pray!
Se ka pa. As soon as they enter bills, she brings forth.
Pray!
Pray!
It's coming like a flow.
Femi Lazarus has broken through. Smiles and laughter. Dancing and rejoice, Elijah's broken through. The rain is falling, is the rain of favor. Yeah, rain is fall— It's falling like a flood. Sphere of light has broken through.
The rain is falling.
The rain is falling.
It's the rain of favor.
It's the rain of favor.
Smiles and laughter. Smiles Dancing and rejoicing, dancing and rejoicing.
All of us, we are broken through.
All of us are broken through. The rain is falling, rain is falling. It's the rain of power, is the rain of power. Rain is falling. Rain is falling, it's falling like a cloud, falling like a cloud, falling like a cloud. We have broken through, we break through. All of us have broken through. The rain is falling, the rain is falling, is the rain of power, is the rain of power. Smiles and laughter, dancing and rejoicing, dancing and rejoicing. We have broken through, all the cords are broken through. The rain is falling, the rain is falling, it's the rain of power, it's the rain of power.
In our ministries, rain is falling.
Rain is falling.
When the word comes, it comes with power. Falling like a flood. No more childishness among us. All of us are broken. We break through in the place of prayer. Rain is falling. The earth falls. It falls.
It falls.
Smiles and laughter, signs and laughter. We dance and we rejoice, dance and rejoice. Because all of us have broken through, the limitations are out. The rain is falling, the rain is falling. It's the rain of power, it's The rain of power is falling, falling like a cloud. It's falling like a cloud. All our doors have broken through. The rain is falling, the rain is falling. Hey, Elijah has broken through the rainfalls. The rain is Falling is the rain of—
Rain is falling, it falls, it falls. It's falling like a cloud, it falls. Rain is falling, it falls, it falls. A light just broken through. It's falling. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Let that amen roar like thunder. Let that amen roar like thunder. Sit for a while. Are you tired? Hey, come on, are you tired? We create energy, we transact with energy, we communicate with energy, we pull down strongholds, we cast down imagination. We bring into subjection every high thing to the obedience of Christ. We shut down the mouth of lions, we bring them into subjection. We tame principalities, we shut gates against adversaries.
We stand at our gates to watch. We transact with power.
Oh yes, we transact with it, we transact with it. We can't go forth, we can't do what we have been sent to do without power.
We pray and we access it. We step into it. It kills the voice of anxiety. It kills the voice of agitations. We step out with audacity, reckless abandon, because we know him whom we have believed. We know him whom we have believed.
Saka faha. In Jesus' name we're praying. Say that amen loud enough. Come on, say that amen loud enough. Now you are, you are welling up. Before this conference is over, we will peak, huh? Yeah, that's one of the importance of— we will be rising and rising till we eat the Gosha. Yeah, once we eat that point, we can begin to make demands. We begin to make demands. Praise God. Amen. Sit for a while. Sit for a while. Sit for a while. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Now, still talking to you about groaning and travailing. You enter into travail, like I said. This is not conventional tongues. Now listen to me, is that okay? This is not your conventional routine. There is your conventional routine of 3 hours in tongues per day, fantastic. 4 hours in tongues per day, fantastic. 5 hours, 6 hours, fantastic. 10 hours, fantastic. I was speaking to some of the ministers and I gave illustration. There was a time I enrolled in a gym when we were in the back here, and my first day at the gym, somebody among the gym instructors knew that I was new, not because of the way I was looking, but because of my kind of training. So I would go to the one that deals with biceps and push, you know, there's push and pull principle. I go to the one that I use for leg day and legs and do the legs. I go to the ones for back and draw. And I said, no, this is not the way it is done. When you want to work out, you focus on different muscles per time. I'm showing you how to pray now. There is the day of the general prayers. Oh Lord, we thank you. Rasto kanbe ne ka pande. Osi grende ka pai. It is well with Ibadan. Abuja is blessed. This city advance. The cause of the gospel grow in this city. So mightily grew the word and prevail. Oh, you are praying. But there are days that you now have a prayer program. And your focus for the next 30 days is that I want to lay demand on the force called favor. You know, when Dr. Akin Akinkunle was ministering yesterday and he said he has encountered the spirit called favor, did you hear that word? How did it sound in your ears?
It is real.
There are favor dimension that you can't share testimonies for. It's immediate. You trust them, but yes, it will, it will look like madness. So there are— you, you look at your life and say, hold on a minute. Why is it that everything I've seen in ministry took effort? Is it not God who sent me? Then you decide— listen to what I'm saying— you decide, for the next 30 days, I want to lay demand on the force of favor. From the moment you make that decision, the forces in heaven have heard. If you stay with it, you will see it. There is the God who answers prayer. You decide that for the next 2 weeks, what I want to pray about is utterance. And every time you go before the Lord and you, you are targeting one thing— touch my tongues with the cloth, with the with the coal of fire. By the time you are done praying, those who have heard you before will ask, who am I hearing? It is the same person but different voice. Baba, you, you've been listening to people and you'll be asking every time, where is— what they are saying, where is it coming from? You go before the Lord, I want my own. Give me, touch my tongue with fire. You notice that now when you speak, they will hear. I've told you that it is the one who make ears that can tell the ears who to hear. It's the one that can say, now hear my servant. I don't know why I'm going in this direction. There are people that God has sent to favor you but can't hear you. It is not automatic. You lay demand. There are times that you want to lay demand on the spirit of prayer and supplication in your ministry. Why are these people not praying? Father, and you focus on that, it will tilt, it will peak. People who are irresponsible prayer, suddenly they are rumbling. Somebody will well up from the place of prayer, from their sleep, will baboko, baboko. Because as you are praying, you are engaging angelic forces. This generation that is trying to talk like— you have not interacted with the ministry of angels. Sent to minister to you. Nobody's voice is heard until they break through in the spirit first. It is not strategy first, it is instruction. And the instruction comes as we pray. As we pray, you pray to a point God says to you, from this moment You will never struggle to get anything done. I give you that dimension. Then you can now say like Peter, such as I have, give I you. What do you have? Who was the publicity manager of the ministry of Jesus? At midnight When men are asleep, it will go to a quiet place alone. Wah, wah, wah. You will just— they will not know why they can't stop coming. What I'm telling you is what I've experienced. People will pack their vehicles with their entourage and be trekking to church. No space to back. No gymnastic. I'm not saying— we all have different temperament. I'm just not one who— and you want to ask them, what is bringing you to a place like this? They can't explain. Is anaka. It's compelling power, compelling power, compelling power, compelling power. It compels reality. We can't confront the challenges ahead with strategies. We need empowerment. More than any generation, this generation must wait for the enduement of power. That if you show up in a place, the Holy Ghost bears witness. There's a witness. Are you there? Are you there? There's a witness of the Spirit. There's witness.
There's a witness.
What happens when we pray, that's the secret. When you go to Redemption Camp, what strategy puts a place like that on ground, huh? What strategy? Begging real estate company to come and invest?
Prayer.
The man has maintained prayer streak. You know what prayer streak means? For years, for decades. From what time to what time? I think 1 AM or so. And you see people praying till day break. When a man has grown the way he should grown, he will speak softly. Now you now say, I want to speak quietly like Pastor Iyadébueye. My dad says— and they are sleeping because there is no voice backing what you are saying up. You need power. Act of the Apostles chapter number 10, verse 38. Are you tired of praying? Are you tired of praying? Are you tired of praying? Are you tired of praying? Are you praying?
Are you tired of praying? Say, I will pray. Say it again, I will pray. I will have no carryover in the place of prayer. I will pray. From today, prayer is no more a struggle. I pray. How God anointed Femi Lazarus with the Holy Ghost and power, he has anointed me the Holy Ghost and power. He has anointed me with the Holy Ghost and power. I can't go ahead and confront the demons of my generation without this anointing.
Before you go about, let the anointing rest. You carry the signature of the Spirit. Get up on your feet, everyone.
Say it loud and clear like you will call your name. Ow God anointed! Come on, say it again. Come on, say it again. If you are a musician, you know I am anointed. You are a teacher of the world, I am anointed. You are a pastor of a ministry, I am anointed. You are a prophet, an evangelist, a teacher, I am anointed. I am God anointed. What's your name? What's your name? What's your name? With the Holy Ghost and power, and I go about doing good and healing all who are oppressed by the devil, for God is with me.
Now hold on a minute, let me teach you something. There is a point in ministry that you are doing trial and error. You get to places, you are wondering, will God show up or will he not? I don't know how today will go. I don't know how this meeting will be. I don't know if the anointing here will look like yesterday.
But you get to a point that you encounter anointing and you know, I have it.
God told me it doesn't matter how dead an atmosphere is, when you show up, I will.
You get to that point, you are no longer trying. And checking, am I anointed today?
Am I not?
Will I be anointed if I do this? How God anointed Femi Lazarus. Come on, put your name there. With the Holy Ghost and with power. With the Holy Ghost and with power. With the Holy Ghost and with power. I am anointed. Come on, say it again. I am anointed. There's nothing normal about me. I carry his power. I carry his fire. I am not normal. I'm not normal. How God anointed Femi Lazarus.
With the Holy Ghost and with power. When I get to a territory, it doesn't matter how dead it is, opens, it opens. Now listen to this. God told me something recently, and he said to me, he said, there is a way your humility will destroy the inheritance of your children. He said If you don't talk about the anointing I've placed upon your life, they won't be able to benefit from it. Pastors, you must talk about the dimensions you carry. It is not bragging. You are serving. It is available. Do you care for this? Is available. Do you care for it?
Is not bragging.
Look at what Jesus said in Luke chapter number 4, verse 18. Luke chapter number 4, verse 18. Now this is Jesus speaking. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. Come on, will you say it about yourself? Because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted. To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. Now look at verse 19 quickly. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Now, can you count on your fingertips the dimension of the anointing you know you have? You must be able to count. Because if you don't interact with it—
listen to this—
once you are ignorant about the anointing, you will also be ignorant about the consecration. It will happen once in a while when there's a little wind, but meanwhile, that thing should be operational every day. If you carry the grace for abundance, it shouldn't be once in a while. That once in a while tells That thing that happens once in the bloom can happen today, tomorrow, and yesterday. Are you with me now? If you carry the fire, it shouldn't be once in a while that you can't tell whether God is going to show up in this— you must engage it till you encounter it. Glory to God. Can I give you 2 minutes? Can I give you 2 minutes? The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
Mention the dimensions you know. Come on, mention them loud and clear. He has anointed me to do this and to do that.
Mention them, mention them. You must know the dimensions. What have you seen your life? What have you seen about your life?
What have you seen?
What have you encountered? I pray, I will pray, I will pray, I will pray, I will pray. I will pray! I would— pre?
—i wou'le préeh...
...pray! Préyeh?! Oh my God!!! I will pray.
I will pray.
Thank you, Lord. Amen. Amen. Now sit down for a while. Do you know that there is a point in the anointing called the point of the overflow? That's the point where your dispensing is no longer by stress but by ease. That doesn't happen until you come into something called awareness. Is that okay? You become aware. Sometimes you are aware that you have something, but that is not yet a reality in your ministry. For instance, you can be aware that a new dimension has has drained itself, and the opposite is happening. What happens is that you must put it on your lips and on their lips till it becomes the reality of the house. You must keep saying it till it becomes all that is known about you. God started calling Abraham, Abraham, without a child, father of nations, and he never gave birth to man, at least not legitimately. So you come to the place of awareness such as I have. I have this dimension, this— if not, you will not produce with consistent quality. Do you know what it means to preach not less than, let's say, on the average, 7 messages per week. And there's no low, no low point, consistently high, everything back to back. You can't sit under the sermon and say, today I wasn't blessed. You get to the point when you encounter it You begin to bear consistent fruit, but you get into that through what? Awareness. Are you aware of what you carry? And look at the way you are answering. Are you aware of what you carry? That you will no longer step into places with fear. When you march there, the kingdom is moving on two legs. It doesn't matter how well people are prepared to receive you in a place you know that there will be no disappointment, because what God has on my life is a tree that bears fruit in its season. Praise God! Say that, I don't do on and off.
Kai, say it again. I bear consistent fruit.
I know what I have. I know what I carry. No on and off here. The fruit is consistent. Praise God. I said praise God. I have consistent utterance. I don't have one today and it cease tomorrow. Every time I open my mouth to speak, God speaks through me. Oh yes, there is consistent glow. Hey, say it again. There's consistent glow. Come on, there's consistent glow in our ministry.
There's consistent fire.
Consistent. Until you get to the place of awareness, you will not know what consistency means. You must become aware. It is not this false humility of We are just there.
You must know what you have.
From the place you move into a new venue, you must announce when you're exiting.
From the day—
from that day, quickly conquer the empty space. Now I'm telling you, you hit the ground running. And you start telling people, watch us, watch how we shift. You don't talk like that. You know what you're saying? Where is Femi Lazarus? Is he here? Yeah. When we got to Abuja, I called him. I said, you might not be in Ibadan or with us at the beginning of the ministry to see how things change. I said, but now you are with me. Before you blink, we have shifted level. So open your eyes and be watching closely. Now, as at the point I was saying that, the ministry could not boast with 400,000 in the account. I'm telling you fact. But did I know it will happen? I know like I know my name. Do I know how? I don't know. That The how is not my business. What, that's my business. What will align is too much technicalities for me to bear. We moved to a venue that could sit 1,000 when we were just about 50, and in no time started doing 2 services there. You wonder. You expand in your heart first. Then the environment will catch up. Hey, but you must say it. You are not testing the mic, you are creating the future with your words. I'm telling you secret here that we are just in this city, says we are struggling with some big, big ministries here. God told me that the biggest church in Nigeria Nigeria has not been built, meaning that it's still up for grabs. If the next generation— see, let me tell you something. Nigeria is a country of how many million people, huh? How many million people? Over 250 million people. Am I correct? And the biggest church auditorium, the biggest, the biggest church auditorium is sitting 100,000. As fantastic as that is, as far as God is concerned, we are still testing the mic. The glory of the latter house. Now I'm not trying to channel your attention just towards buildings, but when soldiers are raised, there must be a place where they are groomed. Some of you are still talking things God is talking cities for the Next Generation Church. Cities. You not do 4-bedroom face my face and say I've accomplished, my father didn't do it. What are you talking about?
You've just built a toilet. That's a toilet.
Then we are back to Festival of Life. It is as far as your eyes can see, beloved. You look to the west, to the east, to the south, to the north, as far as you can see. When you ask for nations, you get it. Don't be a generation that is easily satisfied and blinded by your own light. You do small thing, you excited.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, look at— I now have 10K followers on Instagram.
Hey, the God What do you see? What is God still capable of? Is his best done? What's the promise to the end-time church? Are we doomed to repeat the past, or we about to see some new things entirely? That in our days— and this is not to rubbish and to ridicule the work of the fathers— all that we have seen in Redemption Camp will look like a joke, because the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former. We are going to penetrate with unusual wisdom. The best of God is not in the past. God knows that you need resources to do what he has called you to do, and guess what? He will give you. He knows. I was telling one of my boys with me yesterday, I said, this is what we do with resources— the gospel, the gospel.
Thousands of dollars, tens of thousands, the gospel.
I was asking myself today, Femi Lazarus, what do you even need? I can't remember. I just need something. Let me even just say, God, oh yeah, Bible, the gospel. That's what I'm consumed about, the gospel. Oh, glory to God! I see New capacities. New capacities. Can I give a minute to pray into it? Can I give a minute to pray into it? New capacities.
Ah! Ah!
Eh eh—
Two more times. Aye ehi!
Shaka. Amen. Let me ask you a question. Do you believe that God is still capable of strange things with your life? Do you believe that God is capable of the unusual? Do you believe that what you are seeing is not the best of God? Do you believe that the result of a month can look like the result of 10 years? Do you believe? Do you believe that the force of the supernatural, they are real? Do you believe that God can gather an entire city to revival in your house?
Do you believe?
If you did it before, you can do it again and in greater proportion. I just saw as we were praying that there is grace to conceive new things. That is, added to your plans and whatever it is you think you want to do. There are actually new visions that require certain atmospheres for you to conceive them. And I, and I see them. I see them. I see people breaking into another dimension of light.
Can I give you a minute or two? Can I give you a minute or two? Don't be hooked on the things you've seen in the past.
Don't be pressed on them.
Don't be fixated on them.
New things, new visions, new visions, new insights, new insight, new insight. Strange things, strange things, strange graces.
Strange, strange men, strange wisdom, new things.
Pray, pray.
You have one more minute to Breathe.
In Jesus.
In Jesus' name we're praying. Now let me show you a scripture we are set to receive tonight. Amen. Ephesians chapter number 3, verse 10. Give me Message translation. Ephesians 3:10. Ephesians 3:10. Look at it. True Christians like yourselves gathered in churches, these This extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels. Now pay attention, give me this in King James so you can get it. According to the eternal— 3:10, 3:10, quickly. To the intent that now unto principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God. God wants to raise sons that are a testimony to the fact that God is wise, and that is demonstrated in varieties. That's why I said there is grace to conceive entirely new spaces, entirely new visions. Receive it tonight that you are not doomed to repeat the past. You are not doomed to repeat the past. That will see latter rainfall. Receive the audacity to stand in new spaces and the grace of leadership to break barriers even when it is not popular.
The grace of leadership to break frontiers.
Receive it now. Those who want to see what others are doing to be validated can't survive the EnlighTday Church because God is doing new things. He's doing new things. Nothing missing, nothing broken. You receive it strong in Jesus' name. Have you been blessed tonight? Let's give Jesus a big, big, big hand.
