HOW TO MASTER AND DEPLOY YOUR ANOINTING

As a leader, you are a broker of gift and talent. So brace up for an experience. All right, um, let's turn our Bibles quickly, um, and I want us to pay very keen attention to the Book of Luke chapter number 4, um, Luke chapter number 4, um, verse 18. And maybe before we read Luke 4:18, I'd like to request that we sukkot it with Isaiah chapter number 60 from verse 1. Isaiah chapter number 60 from verse 1.

All right, all right.

Thank you. Arise Shine, for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Yes, for behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall arise upon you and his glory shall be seen upon you. And Gentiles, and the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. So let's do a bit of teaching as we break into, you know, what God has for us. Arise, that's an instruction, right? Shine. For your light is come, and the glory of the Lord— there are 5 definite articles used in a short period. The first is the glory, then the second is who the glory belongs to, the Lord is risen upon you. The third is the darkness shall cover the earth. And then the third is gross darkness, the people, you see. And then the fifth is the Gentiles. So let's break it down. Arise, shine, for your light is come, for the glory that belongs to the Lord is now risen on you. For behold, darkness, or the darkness, shall cover the earth, and then gross darkness the people. So, um, the glory of the Lord rise on you, and while that is happening, darkness is covering the earth. As touching the glory, we were referred to the Lord. So we understand that this is the glory that belongs to the Lord. But as touching the darkness, um, we were not told who the darkness belongs to, but we're told who the darkness will affect. Are you seeing that now? All right, the darkness will— the people Then the next thing we are seeing is that the people are now Gentiles. Are you seeing that now? The darkness. So, um, it, it means that this scripture points to the fact that the word is coined from a conversation you probably may not be privy to. If the Bible is saying the darkness will cover the earth He's making it definite. So it means that at some point something has been discussed about the darkness that we didn't pay attention to. And where is that point? Let me show you that point so you can understand the background of what we are doing. Genesis chapter number 1 from verse 1 and 2 says, in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and darkness, you see that, was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light, and there was light. So if the Bible is saying the darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the people, it must be making reference to a darkness that is used to doing that. So, 'Arise and shine' now will no longer be a statement, it will be a warning. It will be a warning from the impact of what has happened before that must not happen again. So what happened before? In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and the earth was without form and void. So the nature of this darkness is to denature anyone it lands on. The nature of this darkness is to— because the word used there is tobo. Shapeless, formless. That anywhere this darkness is operating, it doesn't matter what is structured there, it becomes structureless. So, um, have you ever seen where, um, they switch on the light and the light is saying, ah, I can't go, it's too dark? Arise and shine means break into the territory of darkness. Okay, because if we permit this personality again, there's going to be chaos. And you, you must understand that, um, the only solution there is to darkness is light. That's the only solution. So it means that God is setting you apart for an assignment that is definite. You cannot afford not to shine. The life of the people will bear the brunt of your failure to shine. Shining here doesn't mean just the ability to show up. It is the ability to manifest, because you can show up and not manifest. You see that now? You can show up and not manifest. So say loud and clear, arise! Come on, say it again. Say arise, shine!

Okay, say like this: I will arise and shine, for my light is come, and the glory of the Lord—

say it loud and clear— and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me.

Verse 2 now: For behold, the darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the people. But the Lord shall arise upon me, and his glory shall be seen upon me.

So anywhere the glory is, people see it. There can't be glory and people won't see it. How many of you have played games before? All these fighting games on phones, you know, when Android first came out, maybe in the days of, uh, all right, fighting games. Have you have done that? Let me see your hands up. Male or female? Okay, that was how you were easing boredom then. Okay, you are welcome. Now there are times that you will have to play to some level to win some kind of weapon that makes defeating the enemy easier. There are special things in the arsenal of God that you will not know. There are packages available to make your sojourn easier. One of such package is glory. Um, you may have a message But it is important that there is a package that God placed on the life of Joshua. God said, this day will I begin to magnify you. Are you with me? Meaning that you can say the same things but receive different ways. There's another package that can be added to the life of a man, which is the package of honor. That God decided. That's also a dimension of magnifying a man. He can place it on you. But there's a package also, which is the package of influence, that you will say the same thing but it will travel further. That there is no tongue, no language where your voice will not be heard. So these packages here and there makes our operations easier. Um, when you speak from the realm of glory The Gentiles will react, and the reason why there'll be a reaction is because gross darkness is covering them, and they can react with scriptures, but it is from darkened counsel. Are you with me? Yes, sir. Another dimension that is part of the package that you can reach out for Um, let's go to Revelation 5, all right? Because sometimes it's not enough that you say these things, you have to show the people. Are you with me? Turn your Bibles quickly to the book of Revelation chapter number 5. Revelation 5, let's start the reading from Verse 9, Revelation 5:9. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof, for thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, and so out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation. Verse 10 now, quickly. And hast made us unto God kings and what?

Priests.

And we shall reign on the earth. 11, quickly. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders. And the number of them was 10,000 times 10,000 and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power. That's the package. To receive riches, that's a package. To receive wisdom, that's a package. To receive strength, that's a package. To receive honor, that's a package. To receive glory, that's a package. To receive blessing, that's a package. If you embrace the package of power and neglect the package of honor, you will be powerful, but the power will have jurisdiction and limitations. You will not cover as you should cover. But there's also a package which is the package of riches. And I understand that because of the pain in the heart of many people, particularly young people, And the, um, the possibility of encounters with charlatans. Um, people don't want to believe that it is possible for the hand of God to prosper a man. Well, it is, it is. Some of the greatest blessings I've received in my life are from people I've never met that God told, go and honor my servant. Did I work for it? What I want to teach you today is how to master and deploy your anointing. Okay, that's what I want to teach you. Tomorrow I'll teach you how to grow in your anointing. So I have to lay this foundation. Where do we start from? Are you with me?

Power.

And what riches. And what? Now hold on, are you aware that Wisdom is not necessarily from the multitude of books you have read. You can enter a flow. It can be imparted, and by one breath of the Spirit, the way you see life changes. It's the same way, um, who has a colored glass? A colored glass. Quickly, any dark shade or something? Dark shade, anybody? Okay, come, come, come with your dark shade. Okay, anyone here? Now this is still transparent. So this is a dark shade. Who is the owner of this dark shade? You are the owner? All right, come. When you wear this dark shade, do you have to read any book about how to see a dark environment dark for you to see dark? The dark shade comes with the natural attribute to change the color of environment. In the same way, the impartation of wisdom can alter your perception of reality. It can. So when you read books, it is to be learned. As a matter of fact, you will not see the marrows in the bones of the book until this is on you.

You—

somebody who has that spirit will read the book and see something and recommend the same book and be worried as to why you are not seeing it. That thing is not there. Are you aware that there can be somebody who is fasting 40 days and yet not walking in power? It is one thing to generate, it's another thing to manifest. The fervent and effectual prayer of the righteous man makes tremendous power available. It is available the same way there can be light, but you are not plugging anything in. There are many believers who have available power, but they don't have manifested power. How is power manifested? You deploy. In a direction. How do you blame something for not changing when you didn't deploy power in that direction? Let me explain. Eh, eh, I don't know why I'm not working in this, this dimension. Have you deployed? You want it to work without working it.

It's called walking off miracles.

The way you walk mathematics, walk it. Okay, let me leave you. Okay, please be seated. Riches, let's jump that one. Okay, let's jump it. Yes, because, um, there are two kinds of children church. First is for the babies, but the second one is the one he instructed Peter to have. Feed my lambs. That's also a children church, but those are children in adult church. The rest collapsed because there was no what? Reinforcement. No strength. Strength is the ability to stand for long. 2 Corinthians— don't bother showing, I'll just quote it out. 2 Corinthians 4 from verse 1 and 2 say, seeing therefore we have this ministry, having received mercy, we faint not. Okay, and honor— honor is not— let me tell you, honor is not the ability to tell people to respect you. Honor comes as a result of God approving you. And telling the people, you must approve whom I've approved. So when he says, this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear him. You don't beg for honor, God pours it on you. And People, it is difficult. Let me explain. If let's assume that somebody becomes very, very vile to dishonor a man that God has honored, you will be judged. It's just a matter of when you'll be judged. And that's one of the things that is lacking in this generation. The devil is trying his best to make sure he convince believers that nobody is to be honored. He is, he is fighting it because once you perceive the reality of a person wrong, you perceive their message wrongly. And that's why, listen to what I'm about to tell you now. Are you following what I'm saying? Are you sure? If you, if you are sure you want to be blessed by a source consistently, avoid familiarity. One of my boys was asking me, and he said, Apostle, how do you deal with the issue of over-familiarity in ministry? And I told him, familiarity is actually a problem for a man who is stagnant in grace. You can't get familiar with what is moving. You can't. So you want to deal with the issue of familiarity? Keep growing, keep growing, keep growing. The moment you become still, dishonor will catch up with you. It will, it will meet you like bandit. I know people honor you and they love what God is doing through you. The only way for that to continue is that you prioritize the God, not the people. They are only there because God is moving. Samson got up and knew not that God has left him, huh? And that was the day the ministry ended. You will not know what it means for God to leave a man. Say the amen loud enough. Say Say the amen loud and clear enough. You won't fail God, o. You won't fail God. So we have a very important assignment because I don't know when next I'm going to be with you again.

So, all right.

Say loud and clear, we have a definite assignment. We have a very serious work.

Hey, how many of you have looked around before, you just look at things happening and it occurred to you, we have work?

Is there anyone like that? Now, now let me say this to you.

One of—

if it has never occurred to you that you will have work, it's because you have not been enrolled among the soldiers of the last days. The moment you become enrolled, your burden will shift. One of the ways you know a new area of assignment is that your burden will rise in that direction. You might be a Christian who the face that you are now is the face of a beneficiary. That's the Second Children's Church. You benefit from the labor of others. Let them pray, fast, cover you, which is good. You will benefit from— and that's why Paul was angry with the Corinthians. At the time you ought to be teachers.

See, at— when we—

when Look at the timetable of God for your life and for your ministry. What you actually ought to be now is what? A teacher. Because Paul suffered a lot from spiritual babies. He was telling the Galatians now that they helped the house. As long as he's a child, differeth him nothing from who? A servant, though he be Lord of all, but is made subject to tutors and teachers till he comes of age. The moment you begin to grow from just being a Christian who has confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you, you will begin to see the work. You begin to see the work. You begin to see the work. Now listen to this. The reason why what you are doing will not grow is because you desire a dimension without seeing the work. Once you see the work, your hunger will grow and your body will shift. You cannot enter the fullness of your calling until you have seen the great work that needs to be done. Give me Luke chapter number 10 from verse 1 and 2. Luke 10 from verse 1 and 2. Luke chapter number 10 from verse 1 and 2. Look at it. And after these things, the Lord appointed 70 also and sent them two and two before his face into every city. And let me say this to you, the days— let me put this in correct perspective. Look up, everybody. The era where pastors raise church members has changed. When the battle is at your gate, everybody who has a hand must be trained to hold the sword. Everybody who has a hand must be trained to hold the sword. The problem you have is that you have concluded in your heart that some cannot fight and they will not fight. At least not under you, till God finds another captain that will believe in them. The smallest amongst us must be as mighty as David, because the battle is fierce now. You see, the Sarah that you left at home, when you go to meet God on the mountain, Is the Sarah that will tell you that Ega is fine. Don't grow alone, they will weigh you down.

The Lord appointed 70 also and sent them two by two. Everyone who sits in church must know how to preach. Everyone, you must know the gospel, you must know how to win souls. You have not been redeemed to be a benchwork woman. You have been redeemed to go therefore into all nations. It's a calling we all have.

You don't need confirmation to do that one. Scripture is clear. Go ye therefore. Send them two and two before his face into every city and every place whither he himself will come. Verse 2 now. Therefore he said unto them, the harvest is fully great.

Listen to this.

Any city you step into and do not see the harvest that is great, you will not enter the field. You, you, you, you must first see it.

Ah, there's work, there's work, there's work. Once you begin to see the work, God will give the one who has seen the work the requirement to do the work. That is the secret. Oh, there's work, there's work in Abeokuta, there's work in Lagos. There's work in Abuja. The—

listen to me, the one who sees the work is the one that God will send to the harvest. You, you, you cannot complain that things are not there while you are not seeing the work.

There's work.

You enter the territory, you see how far the devil has gone.

That, that's what pushes contention. Ah, there's work here. Look at the way they are thinking. Look at the way they are reasoning. Look at the way they are doing things. Look how far behind. Why are men not rising? When you understand this, you understand traveling ministry is not prestige. Going from nation to nation is not prestige. It is work. It is work.

Oh, you know, people want some dimensions without wanting the work.

You must see the work.

Once you see the aspect of the work, that is the aspect of your anointing.

You will only see what you have been anointed to solve.

You will see it. You will see it. That which you have been anointed to solve, you will see it. You will see it. You will see it. You see, it's gonna take sleep from your eyes. It will, it will take pleasure from your mind.

You will see it.

Please sit down for a while. You, you see it.

You will see it. You see it.

If you have not been seeing the harvest, it's because you have, you have, you have not responded to the voice to be sent. The moment you begin to see it, social media for you can't be just another tool for fun. You are seeing work. You are seeing work. You are seeing work everywhere. If a doctor enters a place where people are sick and all that, it doesn't matter what the color of their clothes is, he's seeing their conditions.

You must see it.

Jesus looked round about and said, the harvest is truly great, but laborers are few. Why are they few? Because they've not seen the harvest. Every member must become strong. Every member must become strong. The curriculum for the church has changed. Christ, because we are in the last days of the last days. And if Jesus said the laborers are few, we must beat our pruning forks into spears. That is, men who have been gardeners will have to rebeat those things and shape it to be spears, instrument of war. I see work. I see work in Belgium. I see work in Canada. I see work in Australia. I see work in Kano. I see work in Kaduna.

I see work in Enugu. I see work, work, work, work, work, work, work.

You, you cannot partner with the Lord of the Harvest if you have not seen the work that is great work.

Work.

That's the call that is on us in the last days. Um, you see, the devil wants to make it so that the last idol man will worship himself. 2 Timothy chapter number 3, let's start reading from verse 1. 2 Timothy 3, let's start from verse 1. 2 Timothy 3:1. Sai ka paa ai, la fili ene ke paa ai. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Men shall be lovers of their own selves. That's the first indices. That's the first indices. Nobody wants to represent the kingdom as an ambassador. They want to love themselves. Let's just reduce it a bit. They want to love themselves. And one of the first decision you must have made to be a soldier is that I'm ready to be carried back on my shield than to die on my bed. In those days, maybe this is going to be a deliverance as an introduction. To that subject. When you begin to mount at certain altitude of influence, you will confront the wild principalities, powers that are operating in those spheres. You, you're— they will pay attention to you. And that's the point you get to where 20 highly anointed people can begin to see visions that you died. And you must break through that cloud where death exists, because you can actually die. It's a reality of the altitude you are flying. So you will now have to master what key do we deploy to break through the snare of death. In Rama there was a voice heard, lamentation and weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and would not be comforted because they are not Who was Rachel weeping for? Children. They are the first victims. Children, children, they are the first victims. We must, we must, we must make sure that as they enter our churches as children, they mature.

Enter as children, they mature. Enter as children, they mature. Enter as children, they mature. Give milk, milk, grow them up, change it to meat.

Then bring strong bones. And one of the fastest ways for children to mature is training. Training.

You, you must be interested in more than sitting. To be trained is to be re-educated. And in training, you'll be told what to do. Failure to recognize authority is to remain a perpetual child.

And when I check the profile of the person, he's a pastor. There's work not just among people. But we have been able to churn out a form of clergy, not well cooked, not well taught, not well built, not well trained in the science of doctrine. And we have pushed them out with one dream and one vision. And they are doing a very good bad job. They are doing their dangerous job brilliantly. You know, the danger of falsehood among the clergy is that they will contaminate the perception of the rest. If you suddenly hear that a pastor is sleeping with the members, um, it becomes an opportunity for the devil to say, that's how they are. So if you are not doing well and you are getting promotion, he wants to use to corrupt the entire lump. He's fattening you up to the point where your fall will be loud. There's work, there's work on campuses, there's work in your territory, there's work among pastors, there's work. Oh yes, there's work. It's not how far, it's how well. How are you responding to treatment. There's a way you stay long in the hospital, you will know drugs like doctors, but you are not a doctor, you're a patient. My fear is that we don't get to the point in the body of Christ where we have more managers than pastors who manage attendance, tithe, offering, and the people are not great. The testimony of your pastoral work is that pastors rise under you.

If you pastor people for 3 years, 4, 5 years, we can't find vessels that can stand, you have failed. How many years did David stay in Adullam that the men under him became mighty men?
