INTERNATIONAL MINISTERS' CONFERENCE || DAY 3 - MORNING || 27TH SEPTEMBER

The opening segment of the Day 3 morning session of the International Ministers' Conference features a high‑energy corporate worship led by Speaker A and co‑host Femi Lazarus. The participants repeatedly bless, praise, and proclaim the holiness, glory, and sovereignty of God using a blend of English, Yoruba‑influenced vocalizations, and spontaneous exclamations. The segment emphasizes worship as a communal encounter with the divine, repeatedly calling on the Lord’s name, invoking the titles Yahweh Sabaoth and Abba Waba, and urging the congregation to lift hands, shout hallelujah, and declare the kingdom’s reign. The style is exuberant, rhythmic, and intentionally repetitive to foster a participatory atmosphere.

Um, just before you sit, I'd like for you to help me honor my friend, brother Dr. Seyi Obimbé. Thank you, sir. Thank you for always. Amen. Please be seated. Um, let me just say this, um, in quotes. In the course of this teaching, all right, I'm going to be saying so many things in passing, intentionally so. Many of the burdens that God placed in my heart as touching this meeting will be said during this session, but scattered. So you have to know how to pick pearls for yourself. Is that okay? Praise God. Praise God. Thank you, Lord. Now look at this. Daniel chapter number 10. The book of Daniel chapter number 10. I'm gonna start reading from verse 1. Daniel 10 from verse 1. In the third year of Cyrus, king of Persia, a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. And the thing was true, but the time appointed was long. And he understood the thing and had understanding of the vision. In those days I, Daniel, was mourning 3 full week— weeks. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all till 3 whole weeks were fulfilled. And in the 24th 8th day of the first month, as I was by the great— by the side of the great river, which is Hidekel, then I lifted up mine eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Ophir. His body also was like beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his hands and feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men that were with me saw not the vision, but a great quaking. Upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone, and I saw this great vision. And there remained no strength in me, for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. Yet heard I the voice of his word. When I heard the voice of his word, then I was in a deep sleep on my face. And my face came towards the ground, and behold, a hand touched me. And when he set on my knees— which set me upon my knees and upon the palm of my hand— and he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the word that I speak unto you and stand upright, for unto them unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken these words to me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, fear not, Daniel, for from the first day which thou set thine heart to understand and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard. And I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me 120 days. But lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there with the king— with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand. What shall befall thy people in the later days, for the vision is for many days. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face towards the ground, and I became dumb. And behold, one like the similitude of the Son of Man touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spake. And said unto him that stood before me, O my Lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength. For how can the servant of this my Lord talk with this my Lord? For as for me, straightway there remain no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. And there came again and touched me one like the appearance of man, and he strengthened me and said, O man greatly beloved, fear not, peace be unto thee, strong, ye be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened and said, let my Lord speak, for thou hast strengthened me. Then said he, knowest thou therefore why I'm coming to thee? And now I will return to fight with the Prince of Persia when I come forth, for lo, the Prince of Grecia shall come. But when I shoot thee that which is noted in Scripture of Truth, the Scripture of Truth, and there is none that holdeth with me these things but Michael your prince. Now this is a very, very serious, um, passage of the scripture. And, um, one of the, um, very interesting thing about this is that it shows to us that ministry is first and foremost a business of the spirit. Um, whatever we do outside must be the consequence of the transaction that goes on in the spirit realm. So a minister, one who has been set aside by God to transact in the spirit and then bring the fruits of that transaction, um, in the transformation of the lives of men. Daniel set his heart to pray, and then he described the kind of prayer where he said that he had nothing pleasant. He didn't clothe himself with anything pleasant, neither did he anoint himself with anything pleasant, and he was there for 21 days. The question is What was Daniel praying for? An understanding. While Daniel was a boy, there was a strange prophet that was always shouting around on the street that The nation of Israel will be captured and they will serve in a strange land till the end of the 70 weeks. He was just a boy, and shortly after that, the young boy was among those taken captive at the point that he was praying this prayer, he was a very old man. So listen to— he set his heart to seek the face of the Lord for an understanding. And the moment he set his heart to ask God for an understanding the princes controlling the territory of Persia. Persia is a kingdom, or as at that time, or let's say, Kappadocia was a kingdom, meaning that they had many nations subjected under them. The people of Persia would have assumed that they are under the dominion of Nebuchadnezzar of Cyrus the king, different kings that came. But the activity of Persia was determined by the prince of Persia. The moment a man began to seek the face of God, and what he is now asking for has nothing to do with the things that can be seen, felt, or touched It caught the attention of the ruler over the entire territory, and they began to pay attention to the business he was doing in the spirit, such that as God released— now you must understand that the angel that God released to come give Daniel the understanding was not a small angel. That was the angel that descended and fear filled the atmosphere, that even the men who did not see the angel ran. They didn't see the angel. You see, we, as we keep approaching the coming of Jesus, we are becoming more intellectual than spiritual. So we are, in our intellectuality, we are beginning to debunk the idea of the supernatural, that there are certain things that will happen in the place of prayer, that the atmosphere is lit, is altered for life, that you pray to a point that a veil tears open. So I, I'm just trying to make you understand. When that angel decided— Daniel said his voice was like the voice of many waters, of multitude. His eyes was like lamp of fire. Who was that prince of Persia that was strong enough to withstand such an angel that the person God could now send was Michael? Now, whatever the prince of Persia was then I'd like you to know that the prince is still much in existence, but maybe now not over Persia. If you are going to— I don't like to sound spooky, I like to be very simple. Is that okay? What I'm saying is that the kingdom of Persia is no longer in existence as a kingdom. The prince must have been given a new location, and he can be in charge of certain works administratively. Over entertainment, over sports, over whatever area that they think that this prince, this experience, can legislate well. If it took Daniel 21 days then, and yet the prince can withstand certain things, now that evil is in widespread, we have to pray. You know, I told you yesterday that there are prayers you pray as a routine, but there are prayers you pray dedicatedly. It's like, um, you are shooting gun and then shooting this— the screen is the target. So you are shooting, anywhere you touch there, you hit your mark. But there's a prayer that you must hit a spot consistently till it pops open. What was it about understanding that caught the attention of the Prince of Persia? Because the church in our minds believe that nothing— that it is your external prosperity that the devil wants to fight. He wants to fight the attendance of the church. He wants to fight the increase of the growth. He wants to fight your coverage. But I come to announce to you today that the devil needs you to be darkened in understanding. He needs you to be Um, are you with me? Let me show you a scripture. Turn your Bibles with me to the book of Isaiah. Um, the Book of Isaiah, chapter number 11. Isaiah 11. Let's start the reading from verse 1. Um, are they going to help me now? May God give the media understanding. Let me read my Bible. Who is he that trust the arm of flesh? Yeah, vain is the help of man. Let me read my Bible. And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and branch shall grow out of his root. Can we read verse 2 together? 1, 2, there you go. Amen. Now let's read it clinically. Are you ready? 1, 2, 3, go! The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him the spirit of wisdom and what? Understanding. Somebody say understanding. Hey, come on, say it again. Now the, the word is coming again, so it means that there is this spirit of understanding, and that dimension largely determines what your experience will be in your assignment. And I want to show you something. Pay attention, just stay with me. Turn your Bibles to the book of Psalms, chapter number 24. Psalms 24. Are they now fine to project? Let's start reading from verse 2. Psalms 24, um, from verse 2. Oh, sorry, not Psalms 24. True wisdom is a house built— um, Proverbs 24, sorry. Proverbs 24. Let's start the reading from verse 3. Proverbs 24:3. I need you to get this thing right. All right. True wisdom is what? Is a house builded. And what? By what? Understanding. It is what? Established. Let's read again. 1, 2, 3, go. True wisdom is a house built by understanding. It is what? Established. Can you give me this scripture in Message translation if you can? Psalms. Now let's read this together. 1, 2, 3, go. It takes wisdom to build a house and understanding to set it on firm foundation. Again, it takes wisdom to build a house and understanding to set on firm— one more time— it takes wisdom to build a house and understanding to set it on firm foundation. It takes wisdom. So there is the spirit of understanding, and whatever that is, it is the operation of this grace. That determines your establishment. Now, that sounds simple. Let's bring this back to the case of Daniel. For almost 70 years, they've been in Babylon. If you ask Daniel— are you there? Stop writing, look at me, look at me. If you are going to judge success, we will say on all authority that the most successful immigrant in Babylon was Daniel. Femi Lazarus was the most successful. He had reigned with several kings. They found him relevant. But a time came that in the midst of that personal success, there was a war in his heart. And the reason why his heart was troubled was not explained. So he separated himself to pray. And what was he asking for? For an understanding. And why was he having the trouble in his heart? Because the activity of God was moving from the place of personal success to a place where an entire nation must be fastened back to their place in prophecy. And it will require more than the desire for personal success to align the nation into their place in prophecy. The man who will be relevant to do that will be a man who understands what is written, although in plain sight, but the timing is concealed. And the idea of the prayer of Daniel was to ask. And what was he asking for? An understanding that God will begin to show him what is written.
