It doesn’t take much to distract the crowd. #AFL #reels

Femi Lazarus compares Roman gladiatorial spectacles to modern distractions like viral moments and sports events, arguing elites use them to divert attention from hidden agendas. He says the crowd moves like a wave, sweeping people along, and urges stepping outside to think independently.

I think I was talking today about what the Roman Empire used to do. The moment they want to do some terrible things, you know, some dangerous legislations, what they do is that they entertain the people. They bring them to the Colosseum and then get gladiators and get them to fight, blood and all those things, and make it a tournament. So that while the people are distracted about what is going on in the coalition, they are busy doing some dangerous things. By the time you are done with entertainment, they are done with what they want to do. Listen to what I'm saying. Entertainment is not bad, but the people that seek to control you are not in it. Is the truth. And can I, can I talk to you from my heart? Are you sure? Can I, can I pour my heart to you? Now you ask yourself, what, what goes on on your social media space every day? News flash, breaking news. So listen. What I want you to understand is, over the years, the elite in the society has seen it doesn't take much to distract the crowd. Fond news or fond distractions. Then look at once Champions League is starting, look at the number of people Have you seen where men are arguing about transfers? Listen, listen, you are living in a matrix. It's easy. I can read out from my notes. Let's take it back, back 6 months. 100 phenomenal events that's taking across the world that you may not even know. Because of the new movies, the football club, the breaking news. It's just the game of power. As long as you are part of the crowd, you need to understand that the flow of thought of the crowd is like a wave. Once you are in the midst of them, you can't resist the wave. That's what you hear right, left, and center. That's what the news brings. That's what the blog brings. You've got to step out of the crowd. To see from another plane, to understand how you are being engineered, your thinking, your thought process. You are not thinking what is real, you are thinking what is given to you.
