JESUS CONFERENCE DAY 1

Thank you, thank you. The last time we met was in London. And— Hallelujah! Are you still there? Let's turn our Bibles to the book of 1 Corinthians chapter number 15. 1 Corinthians chapter number 15. I'm going to start the reading from verse 1, all right? And I, I need you to pay attention. I I will tell you why you should pay attention. One of the burdens behind this meeting, as I have seen in him, is that you will have correct, or let me say, balanced doctrinal perspective. Is that okay? So pay attention. Let's do some business with doctrine. 1 Corinthians 15. All right, we'll start the reading from verse 1. From verse 1: Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel— somebody say the gospel— all right, which I preach unto you, which also you have received, wherein you stand. By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preach unto you, unless you have believed in vain. Look at verse 3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried and that he rose again on the third day according to scriptures. That's the gospel. Now, the message of the gospel in simple terms is the message of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. If you hear, say I hear. If you hear me, say I hear. What's the message of the gospel? The message of what? The death, uh-huh, burial, uh-huh, and resurrection of Jesus. That's the gospel. Now Paul speaking here, say I declare unto you the gospel which I preach unto you, which also you have received and wherein you stand. So You stand in the gospel you receive, and that's a very serious word. Please pay attention. Unfortunately, many churches are mission fields, and I'll tell you what that means. It is so serious that the same way we have people in Biapalo who don't know the gospel There are people who are members of churches for 10 years who don't know the gospel. They've never heard the gospel. They've heard about the God who can prosper. They've heard about the God who can kill enemies of father's house and mother's house, but they've not come to know the person of Jesus. They've not come to experience his grace. They've not come to experience his salvific power. This is what we preach to the world. This is what saves the world. This is the message that the world needs. This is what the world has refused to receive, and the reason why they are in darkness. The gospel. This is what the world needs, not psychology, not some human philosophies, not some human attempts to sound smart. The world needs to know that man sinned and man could not pay, and the only remedy was that God became man and saved man. That man can stand in that saving grace and be saved eternally. That's the gospel. That's the gospel. Now, if you look at the way Paul did some very good work in the book of Romans chapter number 3— please pay attention, all right? I teach calmly, but the Holy Ghost is going to eat this place in no distant time. Are you with me? Uh-huh. Pay attention, don't get lost. Paul did some very thorough work in Romans chapter number 3 by tracing— he began to trace the journey of man without Christ. He said there is none that is righteous, there's none that seeketh after God, there's none that is holy. Said they've all become unprofitable, they've gone out of the way, their mouth is an open sepulcher with which they curse. He began to trace all that from the beginning. Can I have you come, my friend? What's your name? From the beginning, God made man in his own image. In Genesis 1:26, God said, come, let us make man in our own image and after our likeness. Let them— he looked at man and said, let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God made man in his own image, the image of God created he them. Eem, male and female created he them. The devil saw this, that what the devil wanted before the beginning began. He said, I want to set my throne in the north side. I want to be like the Most High. He wanted that. If you read the account of Revelation chapter number 12, please pay attention. Are you with me, or are you tired of Bible study? Now let me say this to you. If we're going to stand the test of time as believers, we must endure Bible study. Is that okay? Now you see, it is important we pray, but Peter said we will give ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the word. That's what we give ourselves to. If you look at what, um, John was saying in Revelation chapter number 12, verse 7, he said a very strange word. He said, and there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon there is the metaphorical word used to describe the devil. And the dragon fought and his angels and prevailed not, neither was their place found anymore in heaven. If you read the account of Isaiah, Isaiah began to trace that one time Lucifer got up and said, I want to be like the Most High. I want to exalt my throne in the north side. I want to be like the Most High. And the moment iniquity was found in him, he had no more place in God's presence. And Michael fought and his angel and sent him out of there. And the devil stood— and this is why you must pay attention, this is the reason why the devil hates you so much— and looked at a being wouldn't protest, wouldn't desire it, wouldn't fight for it. But God went pursuing him with it and said, let us make this guy after our own likeness. What the devil wanted that he never got, he gave man. That's the reason why there's all jealousy between you and the devil. And he gave man that thing. But you see, something strange happened in Gen— And the serpent came to her and asked the question, as God said that you should— can I have a lady, please come? How you doing? Please come. Sir, I should not describe him as Eve. Social media can be toxic. And the devil began to ask, as God said you should not eat of any tree in the tree in the middle of the garden, neither should we touch. But God did not say don't touch. There was an extra. That's where religion comes. Religion gives extra. It tries to help God. When you add to the truth, it doesn't become more truthful, becomes a lie. And the devil said, God knows that the day you eat of this, you become like him. Knowing good and evil. And the woman saw— now I'm quoting scriptures now— she saw the fruit, that it was pleasant to the eyes, such that one should desire to make one wise. And the Bible said she took of it and ate and kept for her husband. This is where sin entered. Then Adam came. But before Adam came. Did you notice that when Eve ate it, the glory did not depart? It stayed. She was not stripped of God's presence. But the devil was not coming for Eve, he was coming for Adam. Eve was an incubator. Adam was the seed carrier. If you destroy the incubator, the seed it's carrying is the seed of God. In it contains life. But something strange happened when Adam came and saw that she had eaten it and she will die. Adam preferred, and he made a decision: if she will die, then I will die with her. The Bible said the man was not deceived. That was what Paul wrote to Timothy, 1 Timothy chapter number 2, said, but the woman being deceived was in transgression, meaning that the fall was a deliberate heart of rebellion against God. The first Adam preferred to die with his bride. Then Jesus came as the second Adam, not a living soul now, but a life-giving spirit. And when he came, instead of dying with the bride, which is the church, in the sinful nature, He died for the bride. That's the Jesus we serve. He gave himself for us as a sacrifice that is once and for life, that we will not have to come into the tabernacle with the blood of lambs and goats and sheep again. But this high priest came with the blood that is perfect, and he offered it once and for all. He died for us not to die anymore. Paul speaking in Romans 8:11, he said, if the Spirit that raised Christ from the grave be in you, that same Spirit will quicken your mortal bodies. You see, we call it the good news because you wonder, why should a good news contain death? Well, that's why we don't have late Jesus. That's why we have the graveyard of Buddha, we have the graveyard of whatever gods they served. But when you go to Israel, the proof is that the tomb is empty. Did he die? Yes, he died. He died. When he died, it descended, face to the lower part of the earth. He set the captives free. He made open shame of the the devil. It took the keys. Can I show you scriptures? Can I show you scriptures? First, I want to So put your right hand on your chest and say, oh, I serve the living God. Will you say that better and louder again? Say it again. I serve the living God. I serve the living God. You know, the disciples were crying. Oh, they killed him, they killed Jesus. And they were going to the grave, but Mary was ahead of the rest. And when she got there, guess what? And and an angel sat on it. It was— that's it, that's a military demonstration. The angel sat on it indicating the power that took him up did not hide the realm where that power came from. This is the spirit. There are three that bears witness in heaven. The Father, the Word, and the Spirit is three in one. When man sinned, or before man sinned— please come, my friend. Let's call him a general, sir. I want to be like the Most High. I want to sit in the side of the north. That is, I want to sit where they sit. You know who the Most High is? He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The Most High is the one who has been given the name higher than any other name. At the mention of the name Jesus, all knee shall bow. That's the Most High. So when he said, I want to be like the Most High— because you wonder what kind of rebellion that the devil lead that when he fell, the Bible said he's still— these are metaphors meaning that his influence drew one-third of the stars of heaven. In Job 38 says, when the morning stars sing together for joy, where are you, the morning stars? Talk about the angels of God in heaven. So when the tail of the devil, his influence drew one-third, and he said, I want to be like the Most High, meaning that the Godhead is not representative enough. The angels are not represented in the Godhead. I want to be among them. That's what he was asking for. And when he couldn't, there was no space found for him. Oh, sorry, the father when there was no space found for him amongst them. And man was made. And suddenly they said unanimously, let us make man. It's a convergence, a concerted creation in our image. Too much for a man. Let them have dominion. And the devil was looking at it. I wanted this, I couldn't get it. This guy is not going to get it either. Have you ever wondered the reason why angels will look from heaven? An angel stooped so low to come down and sleep with daughters of men? Is that in your Bible? Yes, it is. What were they doing? That even when man fell, if Jesus will save man, let's mix the gene. So by the time we have an hybrid of man and angel, what's left to be saved? If you are going to save them like that, then there's going to be a space for this general, the devil. Then God had a choice. What's the choice? Man's gene has been corrupted. A new race of giant has been born. They are destroying things, but I still have a remnant. Should I allow them spread and man is forever doomed? Or should I wipe out that world and preserve this remnant? He decided to preserve the remnant and wipe out that world. That's why man could still be saved. The devil wanted his own space by all means necessary. He wanted it then, he still wants it now. You have something that he so desires. But he can never have. That's what you have. You have the very life of God in your spirit. That's what the devil never had. Now look at this, and this is where I want you to pay attention. The moment man was lost and doomed in a state And Jesus came to save man. Look at this. Man sinned, man could not pay. God became man and paid. Never never, never not to become man again. From the moment Jesus became man, he will remain man for life. Is that in your Bible? Oh yes, 1 Timothy chapter number 2. So you, you, you need to understand what happened. For man to be saved. Man, we are seated in Christ, far above principalities and powers. We are seated in Christ. If you know the in Christ reality, you will see that it takes being dumb to walk in darkness and be afraid of some powers that lurk in darkness. We are not afraid of principalities of darkness because we are principalities of light. That when I step my feet into territories, the kingdom of God is there. When I enter into a location, heaven has come. Hey, you didn't get that? The disciples were asking Jesus, teach us how to pray. Matthew chapter number 6. Oh, if you are there, say amen. Matthew chapter number 6. My, oh my, somebody is returning from this meeting with power. I didn't hear amen to that. Amen. Let that amen roar like thunder. Please sit for a while. Let's give them a big hand. Are you with me in Bible study tonight? We don't have this all the time, so you have to pay attention. We don't know when next we're going to have this again. Oh, glory to God! They were asking Jesus, teach us to pray. Look at what Jesus said. Matthew 6:9, after this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Look at the next verse. Thy kingdom come. Somebody say, thy kingdom come. Say it again, thy kingdom come. Come on, say it again, thy kingdom come. What's the next statement? Oh my, let's read that verse 10 together. 1, 2, 3, go. One more time. Now hold on a minute. I want to show you different rendition of that word. Let me read Message translation. Matthew 6:9. Our Father in heaven, reveal who you are. Somebody say it again. Reveal who you are. Say it again. Reveal who you are. Set the world right. Do what's best. As above, so below. Let me explain. When you talk about Kingdom Come, you are talking about influence. Look up. Fix your gaze on me. Fix your gaze. Fix your gaze. When I explain this, now you should know who you are. Is that okay? And you're going to go manifesting that. Can you hear what I'm saying? How come you can hear what I'm saying? You can hear what I'm saying because you understand English, but originally some of you have your own villages. Am I correct? That if we all decide to switch to our native language, then it's going to be like the replica of the Tower of Babel. We're not going to understand each other. True, but it is possible for us to communicate, right? Because a kingdom came. Okay. When that kingdom came, they did not take Nigeria to Great Britain. They brought the influence of Great Britain here. The king did not have to step Nigeria. The king only had to appoint a man who will represent the sovereignty Who is to come here and infiltrate our culture with their culture and give us their tongue as our tongue. So in our schools, we call our tongue vernaculars, and sometimes you are penalized for speaking your native language and you are celebrated for passing English because a Kingdom came. When Kingdom comes, it is a violent invasion, although sometimes subtle. You still not getting it? You see, there are dispensations recorded in scriptures. Um, before the Roman Empire rose We had the Babylonian Empire, and you look at the stories of men like Daniel, that when Babylon invaded Jerusalem, they took them captive. Am I correct? And they brought them to Babylon. But as at the time Jesus was born, it was the era of the Roman Empire, that they will rather come and invade your territory It was not about taking you out of your territory. It was about bringing their kingdom to your territory. If it was still about going to Babylon, then kingdom come will mean that the moment you give your life to Christ, you die. Is not— listen to what I'm saying, don't get me out of context. God wants to bring heaven to earth. That's what he wants to do. He wants to set you forth as a representative, a carrier of his light. Let me explain further. There was a man at the pool called the Pool of Bethesda. And the man was there for 38 years. How many years? 38 years. People saw him, people greeted him, some probably offered him food, but the day Jesus met him there That was the day the kingdom met him. What that means is when heaven kissed the earth, there must be equilibrium. You've still not gotten it. Let me help your mind. Imagine being so broke, so broke. In Nigeria now, if you have ₦1,000, you are very broke. I don't know what I can buy. So how many of you are broke? Okay, all right. I didn't call you broke, but look at this. If someone is sick and you speak in tongues and meet the person sick and leave the person sick, the kingdom has not come. Please, You can sit down, sir. If someone is unsaved and you meet the person unsaved and leave the person unsaved, the kingdom has not come. If someone is oppressed of the powers of darkness and you meet the person oppressed and you leave the person oppressed, the kingdom has not come. Your desire is not just to be saved, but to carry Jesus to a point that his prevailing influence will invade any territory you find yourself. You see, years back on campus, I began to learn prayer, and by that I mean prayer stretch. Say in the room, Pray 3 days stretch. Spring, Raku, and there was a girl living above my room. She was an Elijah, and she was said, and I've been praying for days, praying for days. You see, many of you think you can do life and destiny without mastering prayer, you lie. Prayer is you giving heaven permission to invade to invade earthly matters. You've got to do it. One of those nights, the Elijah that I've been trying to preach to— see, when you preach to people, and even if they did not accept Jesus at that point, a seed has been sown. One of those nights I was praying, I wasn't shouting, From her sleep in the middle of the night, she screamed out in the Holy Ghost. Why? I'm going to tell you what happened years back. This should be about 12 years ago now. To get as many people as possible saved, in a place in Ghana called Volta Region. Now, anyone who knows the Volta Region will tell you that there are lots of diabolical activities going on there. I remember stepping my feet on the ground when I came down, and I perceived in my spirit that a strange leg was here. I laid my hands there. He was going to sleep with another man's wife, and as she sat down on his bed, she began to scream, 'Fire!' What happened? She was screaming. Then she said, 'We were told that a man of God is coming from Nigeria, and they asked me to bury it in his room. I told them I can't.' That's how she was screaming. So the guy— is a strange way to live, okay? And then she said, this is where I buried it. And she took them to a room. When I dropped from the vehicle, that room she took them to was the room I was given. I entered and I said, I don't feel like staying here. And someone said, ah, Pastor Femi Lazarus is like me, I like it, it's a fine room. Now the woman is saying we We buried something here. Then the guy was like— and then they dug and brought out a pot. That aside, that was when we found out that the place we had been given was a place— it was a forbidden land because of intense ritualistic satanic activities. You see, darkness is real, but more real is light. That place was so bad that people will wake up in the middle of the night to ease themselves and will be having strange sight of strange spirit. You will hear people running at night. Till my roommate ran in and covered himself with the duvet, say, Pastor, please. So I got angry. So I decided every night I will get up, plug my earpiece, listen to worship and pray and just worship God. So every night from 12 till 3, 12 AM till 3 AM, I will come out and dance in the midst of what you call powers of darkness. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Thou anointed my head with oil My cup runneth over. You see, we are not afraid of darkness. We shine light. You don't go like, oh, you darkness! Oh, that's not authority. Authority is I will come out in the midst of that thick darkness and dance. Oh yeah! And the rest will come out to ease themselves. They say, Pastor is praying, let me go.. And before you know what is happening, in less than 2 months, the place went from being so demonic to becoming so charged. That's the kingdom come. What you carry, the fragrance must spread and invade territories. One time, as the campus Fellowship president. We love trouble. I'm a very calm person, but I've never been afraid of trouble, not then, not even now. Should not be an apostle if you're afraid of trouble. Why should you be one? So we had a crusade, they had a meeting like this. A girl came to give her life to Christ, and I didn't know her. I didn't know she was the girlfriend of the head of the cult group. And the moment she gave her life to Christ, I got her baptized in the Holy Ghost right there. And she went back home and broke the relationship and moved her things from his room and left. And the guy said, who is that crazy pastor? Who thinks he is? Who does he think he is? So he sent them to come deal with me. So they came to meet me in church. Can I have a guy here who is not afraid of embarrassment? You know, I want you. I was preaching, and I'm glad he's wearing suit. And some 3 boys walked into the church where where I was preaching and jacked me by my trouser like this and dragged me out and said, you're a bastard, who you think say you be? And I was afraid. And our church members somewhere say, Pastor, you don't go preach again now, we don't want to miss you. See now, see now, what you go do now this time around? And about 5 of them surrounded me, and one of them showed me his gun, showed me his gun. I said, who you think say you be? You are a bastard. Today we will kill you, we'll deal with you. Was I afraid? Yes. If it was you, you won't? I was afraid, believe you me, but something happened. I couldn't tell why I couldn't stop smiling. I rebuke you, I rebuke you, I rebuke you. Then he started adding, in Jesus' name, I rebuke you. Hold on a minute, it was still like a joke. Until that particular guy that was pushing my chest busted out in tongues. Listen, I can tell you this story. You know why? Because all the guys that came to harass me that day are now pastors. That is kingdom come. So many of you are quick to say die, die. No, God wants to use them as testimony of what his power can do. He wants to use them. He wants to save them. He wants us to represent his love to them. Are you there? That's kingdom come. Many of you are going to walk in places that before you even preach People will just see you and be convicted. You will not even have to say, I am a man of God, I'm a woman of God. They will just see you and the Spirit of God will bear witness with their spirit that this one belongs to God. Your presence will be invasive. The power of the Holy Ghost through your life will invade environment atmospheres. When you come in, certain things will not be able to survive your environment because through your life the kingdom has come. Through your life the kingdom is come on two legs. Let me say this to you, there are many of you seated here that in no distant time time from now, you are going to be very busy with nations. Listen, listen, there are callings, covenants that you are carrying. Some of you don't know because you have hung around wrong people who have labeled you wrongly, and now you look at yourself like, I'm just an ordinary person. But seated in our midst, people that history will not forget. We're going to have women whose stories will be deeper than that of Catherine Kuhlman. Let me tell you something. As I speak, I'm speaking now from my prophetic officer, and this is it. For every word I see the manifestation will be instant. We're going to see the rise and the emergence of Deborah's strange generation of women who will redefine strength. We're going to have strange apostles, strange teachers, strange prophets, strange evangelists all over the world. You may not look like it, but we serve a God who use the foolish things of this world. To confound the wise. We serve a God— I have come tonight in the fullness of his anointing to announce, to make a declaration that there are men and women here whose presence is the kingdom come. And the time has come, the time has come for that which is hidden in your life to begin to manifest. It will begin. Sit down for your A while. I have it, the power. The power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Oh, I see it all around. Yeah, I see, I see. Listen, listen. Please, my friend, please sit. Please sit. Can you help him? And the Lord opened my eyes and I see, I see young people rising from here. I see nations being set on fire. I see a crowd whose beginning I saw and whose end I couldn't see. I see them go as long as the sand on the seashore. I see God raising you as a giant. I see Indians, I see Americans, I see men and women from around around the world burning for Christ because he sent you, because he sent you. Oh, I see a new season. I see people rising with a new anointing. I see— oh Jesus, thank you, Lord. In In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Now hold on a minute, stay with me before I proceed.
