KANO APOSTOLIC MEETING || DAY THREE || MORNING SESSION || 21ST NOVEMBER 2025

The third‑day morning session of the Kano Apostolic Meeting, hosted by Apostle Femi Lazarus, unfolds as a charismatic, multi‑speaker gathering that moves from exuberant worship into a deep theological and pastoral critique. Apostle Lawal Suleiman delivers a sermon linking John 7:37‑38, Acts 1:8, Hebrews, and Romans to the need for Holy‑Spirit power, authentic miracles, and active witnessing. The speakers repeatedly call the congregation to prayer, prophecy, and the exercise of spiritual gifts. A substantial portion of the session turns to a candid examination of the state of the Nigerian church: division among pastors, ethnic fragmentation, lack of honor, and a culture of persecution. Femi Lazarus and Lawal expose what they describe as the devil’s strategic playbook—raising counterfeit ministries, naming movements (e.g., “prosperity gospel”) to discredit God’s work, and using social media to spread false narratives. They warn of mental programming that traps believers, urging teaching before liberation. Historical examples such as Jimmy Swaggart and Tim Baker illustrate the danger of moral failure and the need for restoration and forgiveness for those who have sinned (pregnancy out of wedlock, abortion, etc.). The speakers discuss spiritual warfare, the vacancy of anointing after leaders like Moses, and the necessity of new leadership succession. They announce a shift toward global mission, moving beyond Nigeria to other African nations, while urging believers to maintain humility, love, and intercessory prayer. The session ends with extended prayers, laying on of hands, and a call for the church to stand united, resist the devil’s tactics, and pursue deeper intimacy with Christ.

Say, only you, only you, you will reign forever, reign forever. To your kingdom there will be no end. We say there are hills and there are kingdoms. There were mountains and there are hills. But only as you are, you will reign forever. To your kingdom there will be no end. There'll be no— can I hear a shout? Say there are kings, there are kings. If you know there's only one name that reigns, lift it up to him. There are mountains, beloved, you can be louder. Holy Yeshua, he will reign forever. And to your kingdom. Let's declare it 2 more times. Hey, there are kings, there are kingdoms, and there are mountains. Say holy Yeshua. You will reign forever, and to your kingdom. Everybody say, there are kings, there are kingdoms, there are mountains, and there are doors. But only Yeshua, you will reign to your kingdom. Kingdom. In worship you will be exalted, O Lord, and your kingdom Say you will be exalted, oh God, and your kingdom, and your kingdom shall not pass away.
Hallelujah! Can we lift up our hands and our voices this morning all over this room? Lift up your hands and lift up your your voice and begin to give God glory, give him worship from the depth of your heart. Can you lift up your voice, lift up your hand? Even in this atmosphere of worship this morning, God is here. I want you to lift up your hand, lift up your voice and say, Father, here again I have come. I've come before your presence not to return the same way again. I want you to say, Lord, this morning visit me like like never before. Visit me like never before. Visit me like never before. Visit me like never before. Day 1 came, we saw your hand. Day 2 came, we saw your hand. Now is day 3, and God is set to do much more, exceeding abundantly above the things that we can pray, the things that we can imagine. He is here in our midst, and I want us to lift up our voices and begin to receive from the throne of heaven this morning and say, Lord, I am ready to receive as much that is available for me this morning. I am ready to receive as much as is available for me this morning. I am ready to receive as much as is available for me this morning. Oh Lord my God, I come before your presence this morning not to return the same from where I came. Lift up your voice this morning in the language of the spirit if you can. Oh, thank you, Father. For in Jesus' name we are praying. Very Very quickly, I'd like us to open the scripture of the book of John chapter 7. We are going to read from verses 37 and 38 this morning. John chapter 7. Media, if you can help us, I prefer the NLT version if you have it. John 7:37-38. All right, let me read from here. He said, on the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowd, 'Anyone who is thirsty may come to me. Anyone who believes in me may come and drink, for scriptures declare rivers of living waters will flow from his heart.' I don't know if there's anyone this morning who is hungry and thirsty. Now, this is the last day of the feast, and Jesus has said, as many he has a testimony, you will receive. For the scriptures declares rivers of living water will flow from his heart. Do we have hungry and thirsty people in the house this morning? No, it doesn't sound like they are hungry. Do we have hungry and thirsty people in the house this morning? I want you to hold the hand of your neighbor. Now what hungry and thirsty people do is to pray and communicate their hunger hunger and their thirst. Scripture said, blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness. Why? Because they will be filled out of the abundance that is available. The capacity you are able to create for what is available determines what you go away with. So I want you to hold the hands of your neighbor and begin to pray in the language of the spirit. Now there's not going to be any motivation for you to pray. You know the things that you have come here for this morning. You know the desire areas of your heart. You know the areas you want God to lift you up. You know the graces that have been left dormant in your life. You know the areas you want to penetrate, but hindrances, hindrances have held you. Scripture says a great door and effectual has been opened unto you. Except that there are many adversaries. We have come to the gathering of the innumerable angels this morning so that adversaries can be taken away. Can you lift Lift up your voices this morning and begin to communicate your hunger and your thirst before your Maker this morning. Oh, we are hungry, we are thirsty, we are hungry, we are thirsty. If your name boy is not praying, you can leave him and take another person, because this morning it is available for those that are hungry and thirsty. Lift up your voice and communicate your hunger. Lift up your voice and communicate your thirst this morning. As many as are hungry and thirsty. Lift up your voice and communicate your hunger and thirst this morning. It is for as many that are hungry and thirsty that I will not return the same way I have come this morning. My story must change. First day came, second day came. This is the last day of the feast, and it is the A day for everyone. This is available for everyone that desires it. For in Jesus' precious name we have prayed. Can we just in one minute say, Father, thank you for that which you are set to do on this last day. Father, thank you. And I want us to end this prayer with rejoicing. You know, it is there. It is with joy we draw from the wells of salvation. So if you know how to rejoice, I want you to lift up your voice and make a loud shout this morning, a voice of shouting and rejoicing.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Are you really hungry this morning? You know, all of us Scriptures, the Bible shows us that men are product of meetings, and God has not changed his mind. Even Jesus had to be in a meeting where it was handed over to him, where it was written that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me. Is today someone's day? You know, at this point is where men are separated from the boys. For you to come for a morning session shows that you know what you're doing and you know what you are seeking for. Is that true? Ask your neighbor, are you sure that you are hungry this morning? Ask the person, are you sure you are hungry this morning? Now, God's word is going to be coming to us freely and without restriction and restraint this morning, and I want you to open up your heart to receive mind graciously. Hallelujah! I want you to join me in receiving and celebrating one that has blessed us twice in this conference and is going to bless us the third time this morning. No other person but Apostle Lawal Suleiman. Come on, are you excited to receive the word this morning? Come on, keep shouting and keep shouting as it comes up.
Come on, scream, scream!
Praise God forevermore! I said praise God forevermore! Would you let out a shout to Jesus?
Hallelujah!
We have shifted though. We're not where we used to be. We're not in ankle-deep waters anymore. The river is flowing. Listen to me, you are not the same person that came here day one. You have been mantled, you have been clothed. Some of you now, it's just opportunity to show itself. Then you realize something has shifted. Mountains have become coming like more heels. Yes, you see, when the power of God comes upon us, his answer to prayer, impetus to act has come.
Ha!
You're not hearing what I'm saying. I mean what I'm saying. You are not the same person. The feeling I had from day one is not the feeling I'm having standing here right now. I'm seeing people, they are waiting to be unleashed. They want to explode. Set this whole city on fire. Lift your hands and give Jesus praise. Come on, give him praise. Thank you for our pouring of wine and bread. Thank him. Lift your voice, bless him. Thank him. Come on, thank him. Mantles have been given to the church once again. Victory has been given to the church. Power has been restored to the church once again. Praise God forevermore. You may be seated.
Hallelujah!
Come on, hallelujah! Come on, I said hallelujah! Amen! Praise Praise God forevermore. Please help me celebrate once again our dear host, Apostle Femi Lazarus, for graciously putting these meetings together. You can do better. I actually believe you can do better.
Amen.
Pastor Steve is here with us this morning. Amen. How many of you were greatly blessed by Pastor Steve? Please celebrate him once again.
Amen.
And our dear Reverend, Reverend Edwards, is here with us. Please celebrate Reverend. Hallelujah. Minister Moses Ako, we love you, sir. Please celebrate him. Hallelujah! Apostle Nelson is still with us. Please celebrate Apostle Nelson, Pastor Benny Hinn, and the host of all pastors. I celebrate you. Now this morning my message is very simple and, uh, it's going to be the climax of the things we're going to be talking about. I want to show you some scriptures that we teach. Acts chapter 1, verse 8. Acts of the Apostles, chapter 1, verse 8. So, we have it, right? What does it say? Come on, what does it say? But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is shall come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and to the uttermost part of the earth. Amen. Hebrews chapter 2, verse 1 to 4. Hebrews chapter 2, it says, therefore we ought to give a more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time they should sleep. These things are slippery. Next verse. For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward— next verse— how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation which at the beginning to— sorry, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord and was confirmed unto us by they that heard him. Next verse, my verse of emphasis: And God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with diverse miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit according to his own will. Now there's a last scripture I want us to read. Romans chapter 15, verse 18 and 19. Romans 15:18 and 19. Please take note of this scripture. For I will not dare speak of any of those things which Christ has not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient by, by, by word and next verse, my verse of emphasis now. Through mighty signs and wonders by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem around about Lycaonium I have what? Fully preached the gospel of Christ. Hallelujah! I want to share with us on called to be witnesses. No, Pastor Isaac started to teach, and toward the ending he was emphasizing that the Christian call is a call to be witnesses. Listen, Christianity is not part of the religions of the world. You know why? We have proofs for our claims. They are not empty claims. We legit proofs to our claims. So when God called us, he called us to be witnesses unto him. And I want to show you a scenario in scripture that formed the basis for our witnessing. Saint Matthew's Gospel. Saint Matthew's Gospel, chapter number 27. Matthew 27, from verse 62. Okay, we don't have much time, so I'll just, I'll just paint the scenario for you. You know, how many of you know the real reason why Jesus was killed? There were two bases. Because they brought false accusations. None of them stick, but there were two. One was that they said, he said, I will destroy this temple and in 3 days I would raise it back. And they did not understand that he was talking about his body. Now the second claim is that the, the, the high priest and the Pharisees says, we have a law, and this man according to that law must die because he maketh himself a Son of God. I want you to have those two at the back of your mind now. So after Jesus was crucified, you know, it was a preparation, right? It was a preparation for the Sabbath. But, and so Jesus was buried. We know the whole story right now. Please pay attention. Now they came to Pilate and asked for permission to seal the tomb of Jesus. And in their words they say, because this deceiver said that on the third day he was going to rise from the dead, so least he his disciples come and steal his body away and lie that he rose from the dead. So they sealed the tomb of Jesus and they put soldiers there. Now if you now go to the next chapter, that's 28, where the soldiers that were guarding the tomb had a very terrifying encounter— there was an earthquake and the resurrection happened. Now let's go to the next chapter. There's something I want to show you. That's St. Matthew's Gospel 28. Let's look at verse 11 now. Verse 11, please. I want you to look at this. This is very important. He says, now when they were going, behold, some that watched— that's watched the tomb— came into the city and shewed unto to the chief priests all the things that were done. Next verse. And when they were assembled with the elders and had talked— sorry, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers. Next verse. Saying, say ye, his disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept. Next verse, look at this. And if this come to the governor's ear, we will persuade him and secure you. Now the last verse, my emphasis. So they took the money and did as they were taught. And this saying is commonly reported among the Jews. Please, what does the last part say? Until this day, this saying is common among the Jews. Until this day. I need you to pay attention to what I'm about to say now. So Jesus rose as he said. And the soldiers that saw what happened came to report, so they bribed them to lie that while they were sleeping, the disciples came and stole his body. Now please pay attention. So they paid them to spread a false narrative that the body of Jesus was stolen. Now please pay attention What he said, he said this saying is common even till this day. That means it went beyond just false report to spirits sponsoring it. That's why the greatest contention is that he died and he rose again, which is even the This is for the Christian faith. So vibes was sent out that no, his body was stolen, he didn't rise from the dead. But you see, when Jesus rose, he appeared on the way to Emmaus, he appeared to the disciples, he appeared when Thomas was not around, he appeared when Thomas was around, and he asked Thomas to touch watching. Are you following me now? Then Paul told us he also appeared to 500 persons at once. Now please pay attention. Jesus only appeared to the disciples. He did not appear to the nation of Israel. So it was only them that had eyewitness of the resurrection. Now, so watch this, watch this. So now there are two narratives. There is the narrative of those that saw and witnessed that he rose from the dead, that he's alive. And there is another narrative that was sponsored by money and by spirits that he didn't rise. Now please pay attention, we can't You can't have narratives that are just your word against their words. How many disciples had witnessed that Jesus rose from the dead? If you put them all together, let's say 500. Better, a larger number that don't believe it because they didn't see him. So that means for the disciples to be able to prove that Jesus rose from the dead, he had to go beyond saying, 'I saw him,' because it will not be your words against their words. I remember their own had sponsorship. There's motivation. There's monetary motivation. So that means exegesis won't cut it. Well-prepared theology won't cut it. So that is why That's why in Acts chapter 1, verse 8, Jesus said we will need power for witnessing, not grammar. You're not with me this morning. I'm certain that you guys are not with me. We will need power for— now let me show you the way that Jesus showed himself alive. Is the way we are supposed to show him. Let me show you Acts chapter 2— sorry, Acts chapter 1, verse 3. Acts chapter 1, verse 3. You know it now. He says, to whom also showed himself alive after his passion By many, many infallible— hello, hello, did you see what they put there? By many, you cannot argue with it, many infallible proofs being seen of them 40 days and spoke of things pertaining to the kingdom of God. Now, so watch this, Jesus did not just show himself alive by coming and say, see me, I'm alive. He showed himself alive by infallible proofs. So the way Jesus showed himself alive is the way we should show that he's alive. There's no other way. I said there's no other way than this way. So that means please pay attention to me. Proving that Jesus is alive is beyond telling people I saw him. There has to be demonstrations that are infallible to prove indeed that he's alive. And that is why you see this gospel that has been given to us has two sides. There is the seeing part and there is the hearing part. And quite often the church is accustomed to the hearing part. The former treatise have I written to you, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus both began to do and to teach. John chapter 3, Nicodemus came and said, Master, we know that you were a teacher come from God because you understand Hebrew, you understand Greek, you understand Aramaic, you have powerful exegesis. Was that what they said? For no man can do— that means a teacher in the kingdom is one that teaches by demonstration. So that guy I get revved because when he lines up the Old Testament into the New Testament— a teacher in the kingdom is one that teaches by demonstration. And all of Samaria gave heed to Philip, seeing and hearing. And we saw that Romans chapter 15, he said, by word words and by deeds. Now listen, we have substituted the tool that Jesus gave us for evangelizing the world to well-scripted arguments, and it won't cut it. It won't cut it. Listen, can I tell you something? Is you that I think the hearts of people are hurting. The reason is because we are using the wrong tool. Hope you know Jesus said every man is harvest for now. The moment Jesus was sown as a seed and rose up, everybody became harvest for now. The problem is that we are using the wrong tool. We're not using the right sickle. We're not using the right tool. Now, did you notice? Please pay attention to me. Peter was done fishing. He had toiled all night. Jesus came and asked, can I, can I borrow your boat? And he gave Jesus the boat. And Jesus preached and preached and finished. All the sermon of Jesus did not touch Peter. But when Jesus now say, oh yeah, launch into the deep. The moment he launched and caught, he knelt down and said, depart from me, for I'm a man of sin. The salmon did not move Peter, but when Peter saw demonstration of power, it touched Peter. That's how the heart of men are, especially in this city that you live in. They'll see the argument, is he or is he not? Listen, when there is demonstration, Bishop Bible say only fools that are fools. Where there is demonstration of power— I remember one time my friend in Abuja, I came to his house, I said let's go get some groceries. So we went into a store and I saw a lady with a very big cast, this POP cast in her arm. I said, sweetheart, what happened to you? She said she fell off a bike and broke her arm. I said, do you believe that Jesus can heal you? She said yes. I said, take it off. She was like— then my friend laughed. I said, but you say you believe, now take it off. So she took it off. We literally saw the sticks that are holding the bones together. So I said, put the hand on my hand. This was in a store, no kissy. No atmosphere for miracles. Imagine Jesus saying, Peter, play on C sharp. He say, Master, we forgot the keyboard at the last week. Take machine now, go and bring the keyboard, because if you don't play on C sharp, no atmosphere. Jesus was the atmosphere. A man missed the stirring of the waters, and Jesus came to him and said, would you be healed now? He said, no, the angel has come and gone. I have to wait for— he said, this is an already stirred waters. It doesn't have seasons now. So let me continue. So the girl was healed. Do you know the first thing that came to her mouth? Where is your church? Nobody said anything about church. Do you see that? The heart of people will easily respond when there is demonstration of power. Please pay attention to me. This city of Kano can be taken. I want to say something before I say what I said. Have you studied in Bible and found out that the church does not face active persecution when she is in the move of God? Study your Bible. It is when the church play twos that persecution comes. Remember the early church, the map that Jesus gave them was Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria. But when they got to Judea, they built headquarters. God allowed persecution to hit the church, then one man went to the the next map, Samaria. And one man took Samaria. Do you know why? Samaria was harvest for now, was ready harvest. One man just entered and some— he took Samaria. There was joy in the city. This— in this city, listen to me, people are not as hardened as you think. We're using the wrong tool when there is literal, real demonstration demonstration of power, the argument leaves the scene. And we must require that from us— real, literal demonstrations of power. Let me say, let me just share one of the things here. How can we become effective witnesses? How can we do it effectively? I'll just share one with us because of our time so that we can move. Are you getting something? Come on, I said, are you getting something? All right, so the first, number one, how to become effective witnesses— effective witness is intimacy with Jesus. Mark chapter 3:14. Mark 3:14. Intimacy with Jesus. Now look at what it says: And he ordained 12 that they should be with him and that he might send them. Their first ordination was to be with him. Listen, their Their first ordination was to be with him. It is in being with him that we gain his mind on the matter. We carry his passion. Now I want to say something here that is very important. I needed to say it. God is not just interested in the mere demonstration. Demonstration of power. The same Jesus that refused to turn stone to bread multiplied bread and fish. That was because the power of God always has objective. Jesus never demonstrated power for the mere sake. You will always notice that he will always be moved with compassion. That is why, listen to me, without real compassion, there is a level of power some believers may never see, because what they want to see is the mere demonstration of power. Let me ask a question. Can you stay with somebody— you have seen a particular case healed many times, but you are ministering to a person now and the person seems not to be healed— can you stay with the person and follow the person up for 6 months? It's compassion, not just the need for the demonstration of power. I've seen people— the same case I will be going over every day. You remember what Apostle Femi Lazarus said? That young girl that couldn't walk, 6 months he was going every day. And that thing will do something to your heart. There has to be compassion, and you will gain this compassion in the place of intimacy with Jesus. It's not just to prove you're a man of God. There has to be compassion. Jesus was always moved because compassion is the lynchpin of the power of God. Was always moved with compassion, not just the mere demonstration of power. You see, sometimes when I watch, when I watch, uh, Healing Streams, and I see Pastor Chris, when I look into his eyes, I will see an overwhelming, burning passion and compassion for the lost and for the hurting. See, many years ago, before I started praying for the sick, I have many hours of praying for the sick and crying, praying for them and crying. I have pictures of Pastor Chris on my fridge. I will lay hands and be praying and be praying for the sick. They are healed. Be praying. I didn't know something. I didn't know there's anything healing about me anyway. I'd never seen a headache healed before, but I was praying, I was praying. God was developing compassion in me. There are many things that must not happen to us. I heard about the ministry, a miracle ministry, and there was a man that— the man I prayed for many times, but he still comes to church with the crutches. So they now advise him to please for now not be coming to the church because it will look like a mockery. We can't be like that, sir. We can't be like that. There should be things that keeps us on the edge of our seat. We should live on the edge of our seats. So intimacy with Jesus, the first ordination is to be with him. And if you stay long enough with him, do you notice it was not that the disciples first did anything, but when they saw them, they took notes that they had been with Jesus. So it was not that they saw what they did, they took note from from seeing them because Jesus had so rubbed off on them that they represented him fully. Please pay attention to me, this is too important because that is the reason why we see what's going on on social media today. People have not been long enough with Jesus. If you stay with him, you will gain his heart concerning the matter. You have different perspective from the general multitude. He will stay up passion on your inside. And did you notice, he says— did you see the way he puts it? He ordained them that they might be with him and that he might send them. Did you notice that statement sound kind of conditional? Because being with him is priority. Did you hear what Pastor Isaac said yesterday? He said God told him to live in the wilderness and visit the city, not the other way around. So being with him is priority, and how we will be able to represent him well is a function of how long we have been with him. We must get this right, Osa, because I believe there are many persons here that came for this conference that as you you live here, there is a call for you to enter into a retreat, to stay and incubate so that God can fully break— bake you and be a ready bread for your generation. So number 1 is what? Come on, I want to hear it. Intimacy with with Jesus. Listen, listen to me. I'm not talking about what we do as a crowd. I'm talking about having your own personal intimate walk with Jesus Christ, your own journeys with God. Now let me tell you something. You see that shepherd rod that God asked Moses, what is in your hand? If you read the Hebrew culture, a shepherd's rod has a lot of inscription that is the journey of the shepherd over time.
Yes.
So their journeys with God, they write it, they write it. So that was what God now said, take and put it down, and it turned to a serpent, and lift it back up. So that became the rod of God. So it is your journeys with God that gives you a place of power. Number 2, and I run quickly, I run quickly, so close now and pray. Number 2 is, listen, believers live from impactation to impactation like junkies. You see people when they say mantle of Katrin Kuma, they are flying. Mantle of Smithy Gusuwa, they are flying. But they never step out. So they live from impartation to impartation. Please pay attention to me. Impartation is supposed to be exercised. You don't even believe you received anything if you don't step out. Stepping out is that— it is proof that you believe you received something. I'll give you two stories. I I remember when we had a retreat with my pastor and we're watching a series of Benny Hinn on The Anointing and the Glory, very old. You can't even find it again on the internet. So after the retreat, he laid hands on everybody and you see this one flew, see postures. I am the only one that was standing. They had learned faith that there must not be a manifestation to receive it. I had learned faith. Because some people are here, they say, I, I did not fall. No, we receive by faith though, because a person can have manifestation and still not receive, because even after the manifestation, faith is required. We receive by faith. I knew I had received, so I went out to exercise. The next time I saw my pastor, I was sharing testimonies with him. I was like, wow, the reason for his wow was because no leu no fall. Then he turned to the guys that were under the chair, inside the pots— nothing. In 2004, there is something called the Toronto Blessing. Randy Clark was invited for the Toronto Blessing, and there was a woman that came. Her name is Heidi Becker, and And while Randy Clark was preaching, she felt he was talking about her, so she came to the front and she knelt down. And Randy Clark said, the Lord said I should ask you, Heidi— because she was a missionary in Zimbabwe, they had 2 churches and they are almost shutting down one— the Lord said I should ask you, do you want the nation of Zimbabwe? She said yes. He said, thousands of churches, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will be raised. She said amen. She was under power throughout the conference. When she wants to use the convenience, they will wheel her to the convenience. She was, she was crippled by the power of God. After the conference, when she revived and went back to Mozambique— the first— Zimbabwe, sorry. The first blind eyes— sorry, it was Mozambique, sorry, not Zimbabwe, Mozambique. The first blind eyes she laid hands on, the person became blinder. She laid hands on the first deaf person, the person became what? Deaf. Then she continued exercising until one day the person she laid hands on, the person's native name is also Heidi, and did you get the eyes opened? And from that day on, they can't count how many dead have come back to life today. Now please, many believers would have thrown in the towel at the first attempt that nothing happened. But she knew she received. Imagine that kind of heavy, heavy manifestation that she could not walk for how many days. But she laid hands on the first blind eyes, nothing happened. But she was exercising. Exercising. Listen, this thing is by exercising. I was not always seeing deaf ears open, sir, and dumb tongues. It's exercise, exercise. There are some things I am exercising right now as I'm speaking to you. I'm not seeing them in full manifestation. I'm exercising. So you have to step out. You have received the impartation. Proof? Begin to exercise it. Start looking for cases to pray for. Start looking for people to minister to. And as you start, your faith will be built from one level to another. Your faith will be built. Then you'll be confident with the process. But please pay attention, that it did not happen does not mean it is not there. Continue exercising. Mastery comes through exercise. Mastery comes. Some of you, word of knowledge, you see something. You may be sitting close to someone. Some of you want to get somebody's address and phone number and what number the person is in the family and what the person ate last night. But you are sitting with someone in a conference like this and Jesus said, tell this person I love him. That sounded too generic to you. No, Jesus, now where is he from? But you don't know there's something going on in that person's life that what sounds generic to you is specific to the person, and you are missing the opportunity to see that this thing is working. You see, in this thing, we don't— we are not afraid to make mistakes. So mistakes is part of the learning curve, and that's why even in the body of Christ, we must must build safe environment for practice. Let me give an example. If I come ministering like this now and I say there's a lady here, you have so-so and so, and nobody responds, get what will happen. The expectation of everybody will now go down. But there has to be safe environment for practice. And quite often we don't miss it though. Some people don't respond to word of knowledge. People have met me outside and say, sir, I was the one who Why didn't you? Don't be afraid of missing it, because even Samuel, the first guy he saw, Eliab, he said, ah no, it's this one. Senior prophet Samuel. And Samuel didn't step back and say, oh Lord, Lord, Lord, why, why, why did I miss it? What, what did I do wrong? What did I do wrong? He continued from there. There has to be safe environment and practice. I wish I had time, I would have shown you how I practice what word of knowledge is that if Pastor Steve tell me that he's coming to my house, I'll take a note and a pen and I'll write and say, what will he be wearing? I'll write it down. When he comes, I don't need to tell him, I'll just check. Then I'll look at the one I got, tick them. Then why didn't get wrong? Then I'll go back, how— what was the vehicle of communication of the spirit that I used to get this and get this? So that means this is stronger than this. I will start practicing this to make it stronger, then move to the next vehicle, organ of perception in the spirit. Move, practice. There is an aspect of the Christian life that should be practiced. Somebody say practice. You will not grow if you are not practicing. Start somewhere. Can you pray in the Holy Ghost? We have 4 minutes. Just pray in the Holy Ghost. I'll be be out of your face in 2 minutes. Now I want you to pray in the Holy Ghost for 2 minutes and say, Lord, I thank you for empowerment. Then say it this way: I choose to step out. I choose to step out. I will not sit on the things I've received in this conference. You will not grow if you don't practice. You will not grow if you don't step out. Say, I refuse to sit I will, I will practice. I will step out. Come on now, I beg you, pray. Don't be distracted. Pray in the Holy Ghost. I choose. Lord, I receive impetus. I receive boldness. Because the next step is boldness. I receive boldness. As they prayed, the room where they were praying was shaking, and they were filled with boldness and spoke the word of God. Say, I receive boldness. What we are expecting is that in 2026, Kano Apostolic Tour, there'll be testimonies. Oh sir, there was one lady, I collected her crutches. There was one woman that was blind, I laid my hands on her and her eyes opened. Let us be multiplied that are doing doing the works of Jesus. There is one girl, she had a growth in the breast. I laid my hands on it and it shrunk. We are waiting for those testimonies. I'm seeing people here, I'm seeing people here, I'm seeing them here that will enter into the market, enter into the streets. I call it Kingdom sanitation, healing the sick, casting out devils, opening blind eyes. Jesus didn't say we should pray for the sick. He said lay your hands on them and they shall recover. Say, I choose to step out. I choose to step out. Lord, we receive boldness this morning. We receive impetus. We receive boldness. We receive impetus. We receive boldness. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. I have the sound mind. I step out without fear because Jesus lives in me. I do the works of of Jesus without fear, without hesitation. Without fear, without— oh, without fear, without hesitation. Jesus, lift your hands. Just worship him. Come on. Fix your eyes on Jesus.
Whoa, there's a prophetic anointing rising in the room.
Heaven knows your name. Sing loud. Let this place be roaming grace. Can you hear it? The sound of heaven touching earth.
What?
Say, "Abba, Father!" Abba, Father! Come on, sing louder! Can you hear it? It is touching earth. Come on, lift your hands, say, our Father. Sing louder! Can you hear it? Singing louder. Lift your hands! Power, power belongs to Jesus! Belongs to Jesus! Lift your hands! From your throne to my belly, lift your voice! Living water flows from you. From your throne to my belly, living water flows from you. Come on! Hey, from your throat! Ate, adai, itai, ode, ate, ateguna! Hey, living water! Now lift your hands, it's flowing from your throat to my belly, to my belly! Living water! Jesus! Hey, living water from you to me. Come on, lift your hands. I feel like the judgment of the Lord is about Sing it, come on. Let God arise and his enemies be scattered. Let God arise and his enemies be scattered. Let God arise and his enemies be— you say, let God raise your voice for that. Let God and his enemies— let God and his enemies— let God Jesus! God, come on, just the voice this one. All right, let his enemies— come on, let me hear you. Come on, let God arise and his enemies Come on, put your hand up like a sword. Let any— let— come on, let God arise! Come on! Raise your voice! We've got a right, a right. Let's go! Any enemy, let's Hey, 1, 2, everybody clap your hands! Yeah, everybody put your hands together! Take it to another level! Yeah, come on, take it to Open! Come on! Come on! Lift your hands unto the God of Pentecost! Fire for Lord— Lemeleze! Let God arise! Let God arise! Break the music out, let me hear it! Let God— let God All over this room, say, let God arise! Let God arise! Let God arise! Can you sing it as loud as you can? Let God— I want you to see the victory that the Lord has won already. Let God arise! Let God arise!
This is a sign of victory.
Lift your hands just like that.
Let God rise! Let God—
he has had victory already.
Come on, say let God— let God arise! One more time, let God arise! And let his enemies be scattered, and let the people rejoice.
I see the Lord just breaking, breaking the camp of the enemy.
Just one more time, let God— let God arise, let God arise. Just sing it one more time. Say, let God arise! Let God arise!
Let God arise!
Amen. Amen.
Thank you, Lord. We give you praise, dear Lord. We worship you, Lord. We thank you for doing consistently amongst us what only you can do. Thank you for your hand so strong upon this meeting, and it is clear that you have unpicked those who are here this morning. That that which you intend to do in their lives, you will do it. We give you all the praise, dear Lord, in Jesus' mighty name. Let's give Jesus a big hand. Please be seated for a moment. If we close with the things that we've heard this morning alone, the meeting is more than successful. So to that, let's give Jesus a big hand.
So, amen.
How many of you have been following my teachings before now, at any point? Not listen, not the crumbs you see online, social media, 2 seconds, 30 seconds. Serious teaching. You sat with a teaching, Raise your hand. All right, so very soon we stop putting out those crumbs because it is spoiling God's children. We no longer have the attention span for long, serious teachings. And that's why for those that will be coming for Light Camp this year, I'll be teaching 5 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours stretch, because that discipline is fast leaving the church, and the consequences are obvious and they are very serious. So to undo the mistakes, it takes a lot of work. I didn't want to teach in this conference. In fact, going forward, I just want to teach stakeholders and let them teach the pew. But I kept hearing the Lord hammer in my ears, who will teach these children about the works of darkness? So I remember years ago I saw a sister that I liked. My stories are not so many, they are just graphical. So I began to pray about her. It was in the days of Togo. You know Togo, and you had your star levels, professionals. So I began to pray about her. And one of those nights, I decided I was going to do 3 days dry about the matter, because I knew even then that I had to pray through about who I was going to do life with. I want to show you what a prophetic company looks like. So I've been fasting, and on the third day I decided to go pray in a church just behind the house where I was living. I had one of my friends there, big guy. We know him. His gift: dreams. If you are praying and he slips off, rejoice, because he will come back with accurate— I mean, accurate. One time I was listening to a message to show you who this guy is, of Kenneth Hagin. So he slept off, slept off for like 40 minutes, then woke up and said— it was audio message— and said the Lord took him into the hall where Kenneth Hagin was preaching, described the suit, described the tie, described the people seated in front, described everything graphically. I went to go and look for the video. Accurate. There are people whose sleep is to Kingdom advantage. If your own doesn't have Kingdom economic weight, stop sleeping. So while I was praying that night, That my friend said he was having a vigil in that church, but as always he had slept off. I knew better not to wake him. It's to my advantage. So I prayed. I just laid down on the altar and wept my eyes out. Oh Lord, help me. I don't want to be a victim of patterns. By the time I was done praying, after about an hour plus, No, more than— I think from around 3 AM till past 6. I saw he sat down and was just staring at me. I said, what? He said he dreamt. Bring it on. And said he saw an elderly man came through the door, looked at me where I was praying. The man shook his head and walked away. So he said he ran after the elderly man and said to the man, your son has been praying and he wants to know your counsel about this sister. And the elderly man looked at him and still moved moved some step further and said a word to him. And that word, so powerful. He said to him, if your fathers had walked in my ways, you'll be held by the hand through this. And said more things, said, however, tell him the girl he's praying about is a good girl. But a bad woman. I've never heard that. Case closed.
Food.
But that word stood in my heart. That's how accurate a prophetic environment should be. But we have lost that now to unhealthy addiction to screens, that even if someone begins to speak by the Spirit, it will amaze you that a pastor can be there but he's never seen that kind before, then begins to doubt it. Why was Gabriel angry with Zechariah? I took the same message to a girl, she believed it. Be unto thy handmaid according to your word. I brought the same message to a priest and he's arguing. Till Gabriel had to say, I'm Gabriel, I stand— this place you are standing, I stand before the presence of God. You ought to be standing there too. You won't speak again till this is fulfilled. And it's happening again, that unless God helps us and have average believer may never know in a lifetime what the move of the Spirit looks like. You may know what a powerful program looks like, not the move of the Spirit. And if care is not taken, an average believer in his lifetime, from birth till death, may not know what the experience of the Church of the Living God looks like. Hebrews 12, is it from verse 7? You have come to a mountain that cannot be touched. Hebrews 12, can you please help me faster with those texts? Who is helping me? Hebrews 12. No, come on, look for it. Let me me show you here. No matter what happens in this session, try sit down till I'm done teaching. Hebrews 12 from 22. Are you there? Said, but here come to Mount Zion, unto the city— this the description of the church, this is what ought to be— the city of the living God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, unto an innumerable company of angels. Look at verse 23: To the general assembly and the church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect. So it ought to be that our our lives are being lived supernaturally. I tell many Christians when I counsel them about their finance, trying to do things for God— and God told me that in person— that every time you have to do something about the vision I've given to you and you don't have provision for it, there's something you are not doing right. So to many believers who are trying to do things for God, and it looks like— I mean, this is kingdom, but the resources is scarce— even God is shocked. That's how limitless divine resources are.
Is—
are there people here who God has placed a burden? You are starting a church between now and this time next year. Raise your hand. Bring your chair and come. Come, bring your chair and come. Come, bring your chair. Something is going to rub off on you while I teach. Please sit, sir. Just sit, don't worry. Just sit with me while I teach. Are you married? Where's your wife? She's at work. Where's, where's your wife? Bring your chair, you won't escape it.
Come.
I saw your wife this morning, she didn't Femi Lazarus, you can come.
No worry.
There's a lady pastor here, right? Awesome. Let's give her a big hand. I love that. So we— if we don't take drastic steps, particularly in the age of media, which is also the age of amplification of opinions. What that simply means is there is the age of witchcraft. Many believers will live their lives from start to finish with head knowledge, mentally trying. They are struggling, they are confused. They're in church. Everywhere looks blocked, heaven sealed with iron, their heads locked up like brass. It looks as though the devil prospers his own more than God does his children. And I've been asking the question, is there no bam in Gilead? Has God become so inept that his works on earth can't be helped? Now we, like the children of Israel— Goliath has been gloating and roaming about for 40 days, yet no response. No response, not because we can't match, but because it is they that do know their God that will be strong and do exploit. We recognize the might of Goliath more than we know our God. So whenever Goliath roar, even pastors begin to scamper and begin to run, and members— no leadership.
Why?
Because this is the generation that has cursed our prophets. Do you notice that for a while now there's no more prophetic navigation over Nigeria? We make movies to shut down the prophetic through laws. One of our pastors has been leading PPC from Monday till now, I had to tell the people, honor him, because we want this. He's a prophet, we want plenty. And I had to tell our ministry, please help me source it, because, hey, it is it that receive a prophet in name of a prophet. It doesn't matter if that prophet is a son or a mentee. And we are facing the consequence of shutting down the prophetic. The apostolic is not prophetic. It can't replace it. We are built on the foundations of apostles and prophets. In fact, the apostolic is the product of the prophetic. Certain teachers and prophets gathered at Antioch. They ministered to the Lord and fasted. Then the Holy Ghost said, said, pray unto me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. I'm going to show you. It's not like we don't have prophets, but how do you have contrary opinion when everyone has told Ahab, go to the battle? And they said, go call me Micaiah. And the king said, I know the guy, he doesn't have anything good to say about me. So they called Micaiah, and when the guy came in, he said, oh king, okay, they said you go. Ah, go now, you come. He said, I join you. Tell me the truth now. He said, I saw Israel scattered on the mountain like a sheep without shepherd. Then describe what he saw. There was an agitation in the spirit realm that the end has come to this king, and they were planning how they will kill him. So he said a lying spirit entered the mouth of all the prophets, entered the mouth of all the prophets. At the moment he said that, guess who slapped him? A prophet and said, when did God move from me to you? Oh no, when God moves from men to men, it's not with a noise. Ah, it just moves. And because many of you have seen what is happening to Micaiah, then we embrace lying tongue. It's happening again. After 40 years of moving in the wilderness, Israel said, let's go back to Egypt.
Selah.
It will keep happening because the Bible said darkness will cover the earth. Not darkness, the darkness.
Then gross, thick darkness.
The people— do you know what darkness looks like? Let me tell you the darkness you know. The darkness you know— let me describe my experience with the darkness that you know. That one that you know can be conquered with a word. We're in Ghana, and I've been trusting God for a crusade. This is about, um, 12 years ago. So they received us in a place called Agotwe in Volta region. And as I got there and came down from the bus, I sensed in my spirit that there's something evil about this place. So I went down and laid my hands there and said, let the fire of God saturate this land. Of course, I left. At night, a woman came. Someone smuggled a woman, and as she stepped there, she began to scream, 'Fire!
Fire!
Oh, fire!' And said in her confession, 'They told me that a man of God is was coming in Nigeria. So I've been sent to bury something in his room. So she began to— so everybody gathered. So they went to the room they thought was my room, and actually that was the room they gave me. But as I got there, I said, I don't want. So somebody, I say, ah, you don't want this fine room? Me, I want. So now that's the guy standing there What have I gotten myself into? Anyways, they dug and brought out a pot, and the environment was so demonic— your Nollywood standard of demonic— that people come out in the middle of the night and begin to scream for sightings of spirits. It was so— later we found out that the land was a forbidden land. The day I felt I've had enough was when someone stayed in my room, running, because he went to ease himself and saw some strange creatures, as always. What did I do about that darkness? Yes, very simple. I came out every night from 12:00 AM, plug my earphone and just begin to worship. Oh, we bless you, Lord. You are holy and forever you are God. Baba, just worship him. Every night. There was never a time I said, 'Get out.' When the Lord enters his temple, the whole earth will be silenced before him. The place became so charged that till date, that's the place I've won the highest number of souls in one night.
So charged.
So to deal with the darkness, you know, is simple— invite God. But there's another darkness that you can be a worshipper and still be in it. You can be a preacher and still be in it. You can be an apostle and still be a victim of that darkness. That darkness is systemic. It's ignorance. You don't cast it away. You can't. The Bible said— and for the Bible to use the word the darkness— give us that scripture, Isaiah 60:1. For the Bible to use the word the darkness will cover the earth, look at it. Okay, yeah, verse 2 now. For behold, the darkness who covered it— it means the kind of darkness that we are dealing with here is a darkness with a track record. I can't just say the Pastor Olumese except that there's something definite about you that I'm making reference to. If I say that's the pastor, it means means there's something we are referring to that has happened in the past. So the first question is, what's the track record of this darkness?
Do you—
are you sure you have stomach for food?
Huh? Respond!
The church must learn to respond. That's how you eat. Now respond! Do you have appetite? Are you sure?
Yes, sir.
You can have appetite and not have capacity. Do you have capacity?
Yes, sir.
Let's check it out. That's a prophet right there. Look at it. The darkness will— see, the darkness will not visit the earth, it will cover. That's a perverted dimension of Mimshak, because the devil was referred to as the anointed cherub that covers. So the devil, in his scope, when he wants to deal with the people, is not— the devil doesn't do hook and fish, he casts, he seeks to cover. So, what's the reference point for this darkness? Genesis 1 from verse 1. Quite scriptures you're familiar with. In the beginning, aha, God created what? Ah, the heaven and the earth. Yes, verse 2 now. And the earth was what? Now you should understand this, it's very simple English, right? What does it mean that God created? He finished, right? Is that not what it means? Ah, it's done. It not is creating, he created the heaven and the earth. Now the earth was without form and what? Void. Form means it became shapeless. Void means it was emptied. And darkness was upon the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Two things there. God finished two things in reference to the both of them. One was intact because God was there. Then the The second one, toobo, shapeless, formless. And then a personality was now referenced to there and said darkness. So it means anywhere darkness is permitted, it will destroy and it will empty. If you permit darkness in the family, it doesn't matter the shape it's taking, it will be shapeless in the moment. If you permit darkness in a church, it will be shapeless and empty. And all you have to do for darkness to come in is to take a lot on your boat. That's a case for another day. So God is calling our attention— listen to this— to the fact that, hey, the darkness wickedness is coming back again in full force, and now it's going to cover the earth, then a deeper dimension of it, the people. Meaning that you will see systemic rot and you think that's the height, till you see individual rot. You begin to see things happening in nations and say, oh, Nigeria is just this, Nigeria is just that, America is It is that you feel that's the height till you come close to each individuals and see how far the devil has gone with lives. Darkness covering the earth, but there is gross darkness each individuals. You'll be amazed that you can see an entire church covered in darkness, but yet they are preaching. You'll be amazed that you see company of prophets, apostles and teachers, but here they are in darkness. You know, the dangerous thing about darkness is that— please come, let me have 4 of you come quickly. Now look at this, we are fighting a war. Everybody, feet, um, set your feet. Now you're fighting. Now look at this, come, come here. Now you come too. We're fighting now. I'm the enemy, set your feet to fight me. It's easy to know who to fight once there's light. All I have to do is to get you in darkness and walk out. You fight yourselves in Jesus' name. You will use the authority given to you by the enemy to face yourselves. This is what gross darkness does. And listen, you will think that the reason why you are justified is because the presence of God is still with you while you are doing it. But the presence of God is even in places where men are dying, and that doesn't mean God endorses it because you are anointed. But now, by the time you come into light and you want to see the spoils what you've done to the kingdom of the enemy. Actually, God is saying, you fought me. That was what happened to Saul. Saul was doing what he was doing religiously, but Jesus came and said, why are you persecuting me? He thought he was fighting on God's behalf. Then the same God is saying, no, you're not fighting on my behalf, you're fighting me. Said it's hard to kick against the pricks. That's what we've been doing. We're kicking against the pricks. We are so confused, we lack illumination. It's not a priority.
Why?
Because most of our actions are not from the place of prayers.
Why?
Because we've not learned the ways of the spirit. An average person who opens the mouth to talk has not even prayed. Let me tell you a story. Please sit down. Thank you, thank you. You know, for years in this country, let's take a man like Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Ministers and ministries gathered and demonized that ministry. And they had many things they had to say. Number 1, the hair— how the devil highlight things. Number 2, they said that, okay, at some point the marriage— the church that I should pray. So he said, he shared the story. He said there was a man amongst them that he believed in his heart, oh, this man loves me and he's praying for me, till he heard the man saying on TV that God said something to him about the man of God that is absolutely not true. You know, if you say God said, and I respect you, and I find out what God said to you about me 'But it's not true.' He said that was when he knew that nobody was praying for him. Now, many of those who fought then are now teaching grace. The devil will use us to fight what we will enter but we have not entered. So the biggest battles of the church is usually against foreigners, and it is not the devil that fights them. He uses priests, high priests, church, zealous people to fight it. You will fight it and type about on social media till it's your time to enter it. Why should a pastor be using this kind of car?
Why?
This is— you're angry because you don't have. Then later, God— the way God judges you sometimes is to give you influence, then give you what you have cursed. Sometimes that's his judgment. Is that not a nice judgment? You look at people that God has given influence and say, it's not my crowd. Then he gives you crowd. Then you know that many sermons are envy motivated, not by— we can spiritualize envy. Never you as pastors, because you want to open sharp mouth to join people to say it's not by what you don't have. See, it's not, it's not about money, or you're broke. You can't even organize one crusade in peace. Oh yes, it's not about money entirely, but you need it. Stop deceiving yourself. Ah, if I call you now this morning and I say I want to bless you with a million naira, how many of you will rejoice? You are still forming for me.
I tried several times.
Why do you say publicly it is not about what you are praying for secretly? I'm working so hard for— we build with our hands and destroy with our mouth. You, you know that about a foolish woman, but you forget you are a bride of Christ that is building with the hand but destroying saying scattering with the mouth. I want you to use your mouth to undo the things you have done negatively against your destiny. This morning is for repair. Listen to what I'm saying. There are certain things God was going to bring you into. Because you are not there and your church is not there, you shut it down. It's not about all these things. So it's, it's, it's not about views. They do sponsored posts back to back.
Pray!
Say, Lord, I repent. Say, Lord, I repent. Come raise me, Lazarus. Heavenly angels cry, singing, 'Holy is the Lord.' You should switch right now. Raise it loud and clear. And his glory appears like a light from The sky.
Angels, angels shine. Oh, look to the sky. Hear the angels cry, singing, oh. The Lord! And his glory appears like light from the sun— Eto e to cha. Oh, look to the sky, hear the angels cry, singing, 'Oh, please the Lord.' Sit for a moment.
If my people that are called by my name will humble themselves— listen, that you can see something you know can be a weapon in your arsenal, but it's not in my hands yet, but God has placed it in his hands. Oh Lord, I want it. How glorious the church will become when we we understand it is complementing, not competing. That if there's anything you see us doing, Kano, it is so that many can rise in greater dimension after this order. Not like you go sit down and say, what are they doing? What are they doing there? What are they doing there? Yeah, what, what do they do there? All young pastors. No, that's how men get kicked out of the move and not even know. Have you seen situations where they cut off the head of a chicken but the chicken is still running? That's the picture of many ministries. They've cut themselves out of of what God is doing, but they're still running, but they are bleeding. Once that life is drained, it becomes a monument, not a movement. All you have to do to be finished is to talk anyhow, just be talking anyhow. And that's what we have not trained believers. Many people don't know what a a good church where they are discipling people looks like. And for some, even if God plants you there, they keep missing curriculums. Go get my teaching, The Anatomy of Judas. I showed there that every important seasons of visitation that the disciples had, Judas was missing. And the ability to betray Jesus came from the encounters he missed. Yes, many of you don't know that you are far behind in the syllabus of what God is doing. You need to admit it. That's where humility begins from, that there are things God is doing upon the earth, active things he's saying that you have no clue.
You've not heard them.
You don't know.
You are in the midst of a move, but yet you are asking, we miss the days of dew. Many don't even know. You watch what is about to happen here tonight during the honor service, and yet these men have always been in this city. Thank you. When we went to visit Daddy Olumese, what happened from just greeting— ah, oh boy, that's the first time in my life I stood under an anointing and I'm saying, please don't touch me because I don't know what can happen to me now. And I wasn't saying that out of fear. Like, ah, you know, there's a dimension of God you see, you fear. Like, God help me. You will know what the move of the Spirit looks like. There's a pastor here who has been feeling guilty that you know you ought to be among those in front. Who is that person? I'll call you just once. After now, I'm going to move on. You've not started a church, you know there's a body in that direction you've been feeling guilty, raise your hand where you are. Let me see you. Come, bring your chair, my friend. And his glory appear like a light from the sun. He shouts, oh, look to the skies and hear the angels cry, singing holy is the Lord. Now look at this, one of the best one of the best things we can do about the darkness that is encroaching the earth, including the church, is through accurate teaching of God's word and demonstration of the word. But what do we do now? Let me give you an instance. Here is a sick patient. You want to give the patient intravenous infusion. You're looking for the vein. You now— you We need to save you, but we are looking for the vein. All the veins have collapsed. We need to, we need to pass something quickly. The veins have collapsed. That's the state of many believers. What they need, they don't have attention span for. The veins have collapsed. They can't endure one hour teaching. You know why? If chairs have not scattered, God has not moved. They can't be taught now. They can't be taught. The moment the word starts, they begin to sleep because they forget that you need discipline. Discipline. You need discipline both to hear and to read the word. You need to be trained. You need a discipler who can say, sit down, and for the next 3 hours, know the demonstration word. You now need to master the science of enjoying the truth of scriptures. Now we have people who will even go drag their pastors online because they spend more time in the sermon. You need discipline for the word. That's how we grew, that's how we are growing. We sit with a message and I can hear the message 5 times because I discovered that I heard it in church doesn't mean I've heard it. I need to train myself to hear on the go. You keep complaining that things are not fine. What word have you heard? You're pretending as if things are not fine by themselves. How shall they know except they are taught? How will they be taught unless there are teachers sent to them? Once you're hearing the simplicity of God's word, if I have not mentioned many things, things that you don't even know what they mean, I'm conscripting you into certain— I say, hey, mama, what are you talking about? Okay, I Having done all— see, I respect dimensions. God has given all of us different dimensions, so I'm not going to try to force anyone into my own dimension. But if something is not that your dimension, stop pretending. You that you don't pray privately, once we now start praying, now bend your head like, eee, eee.
Why?
You want to die? By the time you're done, you need paracetamol for body pain because it's not yours. You're forcing it. It's like this, our prayer starter pack. What are you doing? You don't twist your mouth, look strange. See, God gives people dimensions. If it's not yours, stop pretending. It doesn't make you more spiritual. Try, makes you look funny. One of my boys came to visit me years ago, and he needed to show me that he's a man of prayer. So in the middle of the night, I— I've prayed hours here today, and I didn't disturb any human being. My room Femi Lazarus stood up and said, disturb me one more time. So he now sat down and gentle. Let me ask you a question. Come along. This is your dad. You want bread. You Standing in front of me, Daddy, I take bread! Daddy, I take bread! He's like, I'm here, you come again. Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, you want bread? Ask me. We always feel the need for drama because we feel it's far. Many of us probably don't even know how close God is. And why do we repeat it? Because that's what you've seen. Prophecy is not epilepsy. You don't have have to break chairs to say, 'Thus says the Lord.' Where will you grow every time you want to prophesy? Oh, Maori, Kaori, Uma Mama, Uma. Yeah, what the Lord is saying.
Oh God.
Yeah, my teachings have become endangered. Usually I would have off the live stream, so I'm just going to touch till our private platforms are ready. To take them. What that means is that whether on Spotify or on YouTube, any of my teachings you still see there, eat them while they are there. The verse, you have to download the digital library and get them. Who will teach this generation about the darkness now that is covering the earth? Is an average believer in the church aware that we're at war, that there's a warfare? Is that Daddy Olupade there? Please help me bring him to the front. That's one of my daddies. I've been trying to see him since Those are the people that discipled us. So whatever you see today, please, there's a seat. Is that place available? Don't stop clapping. Thank you, sir. Amen. Please be seated.
Thank you.
Do you understand what I'm saying here? An average believer doesn't— we don't know. Years ago, 20, 16 years ago, a girl I was mentoring came to see me and said, please, sir, I want you to pray for me, myself and my friends. Say, we, we want you to pray what God is saying about our marriage. And then they brought list of papers, and then this one has 5 names, this one have 4 names, and then say, please Help us pray about it. Which one is my husband? About 6 of them. Which one is my husband? So I said to them that, do you believe that I hear from God? I say, aha, that's why we came. I said, thus says the Lord, squeeze the paper in your hand. I said, squeeze more.
Squeeze.
Now tear it and drop it in the dustbin. Say, you want to hear more? Say yes. Get out of my room. So they left and I was not going to see them. Then God said, they are babies, go talk to them. So I called her on the phone and said, gather yourselves, I'm coming. First, I knew they needed salvation. For you to be managing 6 brothers at the same time, that's a project manager right there, huh? That's a project manager right there, huh? Aha, you pull off something. You are managing 5, you are managing 8. Now as I began to talk to them, the Lord then opened my eyes and I didn't even see the paper, whatever it was, that you, you've gone to another prophet. They said is true. Then God began to give me the names of the people that the prophet already gave them, which I don't know. One of the names that they gave the sister, about few weeks after that, a pastor, they found out he had buried somebody in his church. And yet a prophet said, that's your husband. The other one, the guy ran mad because he did Yahoo and then it backfired. You understand? So it backfired. It takes a fake Christian to fuel a fake prophet. We get what we deserve. It's because you have failed to sit with the word. That's why they lie to you. That's why you can be exploited. Is that you too you are a fraud. You don't want to work. You want 5 million that will suddenly appear in your pocket. That's why you have to drop 500K to see the 5 million you never see. Because we are far from the word now. We are far from it. We don't even know what the word says. An average Christian that is conscripting has not read one chapter this year, and yet What was that? What are you doing? If it's your dimension, I don't know, proceed. But if you are faking it and forcing it, why? You feel God move best when you pretend? Some have never read a chapter by themselves that they sat down this year and read, talk less of reading a book. That they finish the book. Let's take book as small as the book of Jude. They won't read, but they're still preaching. You wonder the reason why it's so easy for you to be a partner with the devil? Because God is not talking to you, but yet you are talking. Somebody will speak through you. It takes intimacy to be a bona fide soldier. It takes intimacy, closeness to the command center. Planes fly by instructions. You run with principles. So how do you say you're on a flight for God but yet you've not heard him? Talk less of saying some people have prayed for one hour by themselves, but yet we are setting campuses on fire.
What fire?
How can you walk when you don't know the ways of the wind? How can you fly when you know the ways of the Spirit? How can you run when you don't know the ways of the wind? It's power at work in you, it's bringing everything in obedience to Christ. It's changing everything. It's changing everything. In obedience, obedience to Christ. He's transforming everything, he's transforming everything in obedience, obedience to Christ. Swallow your pride tonight, come to the school of the Spirit. Don't you know in his hands is the key to eternal life? I'll lead you here, I'll lead you there until his will is done. He's at work in me, working everything. Ain't no need as to Amen. There's this song, 'Have You Been to Jesus with a Cleansing?' Huh? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Yeah, raise this up. Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you washed?
Are you washed in the blood, in the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb? Ayo ka men! Spotless are they white as snow. Ayo wash in the blood of the Lamb. Ayo wash in the blood In the so cleansing blood of the Lamb. I, oh God, man spotless, are they white as snow.
Are you washed in the blood of the That the church that will lead the proceeding with Christ in fighting against the odds of darkness in the last days, as we approach the coming of Jesus— the Bible described these days as perilous times, hard to bear, hard to deal with— that church cannot go on march parade with head knowledge. That church must know him who commands. I've wept, I've cried, I've mourned. So as I began to mourn, I understood, blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. And I understand that the comfort means that God is going to raise men that have been filled with the Holy Ghost, that will begin to operate in the ways that soldiers begin to know we are not alone. And as we prepare And as we stand in formation, the devil seems to have an advantage— the fact that both the priest and the pew can be in darkness. When you read that scripture, you read— my eyes became teary— that it was the high priest that paid them to go give a false narrative that Jesus did not rise. Because now we prioritize not looking wrong than humbling ourselves to be in tune with the move of the Spirit. If I've said something as a priest and I'm wrong, I would rather defend the error even if it cost the life of another believer and cost the conscience of many. So it shows we never really loved him. Once the love of God hit you. One of the ways you will know is in the ability to humble yourself and pay prices. Who will teach us now about the darkness? Now it's no longer coming darkness, it's here. The battle battles, the war, everything you see, it's more intense than World War III. It's the battle for souls, the battle of narratives, the battle of propagandas and agendas. And I want to put this to you, that the church in the north must become more united because on Unfortunately, despite the fact that the church in the north is being persecuted, there is no church that is more divided than the church in the north. We've divided ourselves across ethnic lines. If it's a Yoruba pastor, Yoruba church. If it's an Hausa pastor, Hausa church. If it's an Igbo pastor, Igbo church. And once God begins to do things outside our clan, we arise, though persecuted, to fight it. How will the enemy not win? There's an assumption as though revival is on the street here, but you know it's not true.
Yes, sir.
That though we are close to death, but yet we are still cold. Why? That I've come to this place again and again, and I'm amazed, I'm shocked to see that not just the external force persecuting pastors— go to the house of an average pastor who has labored in this land and you ask, don't they have members? No culture of honor. No culture. We don't honor our own. We have Hausa church, Yoruba church, Igbo church. Then we now have the church, church, church, church. We've not admitted that we are divided. How many of you pastors can sit and eat from the same plate? But that's what they do in the other side. Pastors can't eat in each— they are suspecting themselves. You serve water, they can't drink it. They're looking here in this same north where we are seeing persecution. It looks as though unity is easy when people are small, but as they get big, you now see that they were never brethren. We now have adage: the bed is enough for flies to fly without ruffling feathers. A thousand children can't play for a thousand 1,000 years. Interesting. But you saw the cry of Jesus, that they may be one. That was the last prayer, that they may be one. He understood, he knew, he knew if the church can be one, can't be divided. Now you have pastors who believe their mission is to destroy other pastors, churches whose mission is to attack other churches. If a pastor now should have God forbid, a scandal. You don't need Boko Haram to come kill him. The church will. The church is enough. We so much don't understand restoration that people look at the case we're talking about. The man, that minister has been praying nonstop since 1997 or thereabout, has an issue. Do we have a place where we say you have labored too much, we refuse to to let you go down. We gather around you. Your shame is my shame. Your reproach is my reproach. Do we have that culture? We know it doesn't matter how much we have labored, spend time, fast, cry over people. Make one mistake, they'll bring out knives and stab you and say, who cares about him?
That's who we are.
We are worse than demons. The devil has given us his work and said, do it on my behalf, and we do it in Jesus' Jesus' name. Let somebody rise in a church, a young lady gets pregnant out of wedlock. Okay, it happened. What do we do now? Send her out. To where? Call the person out publicly and say, I have done this and I've done that. And those who are doing worse, that people cannot open up about their wounds, what they are dealing with. An average person is battling for no Gaffa masturbation can't talk because the first man is a OU. That's the kind of church we have become. We've embraced, embraced the similitude of monstrous creatures. There are things that the devil doesn't have to do. The church is enough. We will do it gallantly. We will destroy ourselves gallantly, finish ourselves gallantly. I was speaking to— sit down— I was speaking to someone. I said, you hate this pastor so much, it's like you've concluded he can't make heaven. That the hatred some pastors have towards each other, even the devil is learning. They hate themselves. How can you say you hate someone I've seen people peddle lies against me, and I sat down in the place of prayer. I know my spiritual weight, and I saw it is an option. Femi, you could speak a word here, but I've not been raised to use this anointing to destroy a believer or to kneel down because I'm in pain. And say, Lord, except this is true, I speak today as your servant. No, I've not been raised like that. Why do you hate yourselves? There are pastors who have things to give you, but you can't hear them because another pastor who is angry spoke something wrong against them. Yet is your inheritance. You will grow old and give birth to children who go and listen to their product. It's the same playbook. Your parents have those they despise too. It's the same playbook. It's the same playbook. We believe we are so holy and we know we are not. The devil is just busy playing games. Who is going to teach this generation about this darkness playing games with our lives, playing games with our minds, playing games with our destiny. We pretend but we don't love.
When was—
has there ever been a time this year that you knelt down, not because you wanted anything, just to intercede for somebody God is using for you? Lord, I pray that you will keep him, because you So as we get so blessed, we don't pray for those that God used to bless us. And when the enemy comes, we say it's true. Who is going to teach us now? The church in the north must unite. That's the story people don't know. Many of you have pastors whose church, even though they have a program that will bless you, you can't attend because your parents, they will shut you down if you attend. Meanwhile, the person who shut you down is living in adultery, and the person is complaining about somebody who palm the hair. Are you see that The devil plays games. And his glory appears like a light from the sun. Age to age, he shines Oh, to the skies, hear the angels cry, singing, Holy is the Lord. You need to understand how horrible it was in days of Jesus that The woman that was caught in the act of adultery, 2,000 years later, 2,000 years later, if somebody has a marital crisis, they cannot be anything in our churches. 2,000 years later, Jesus met that woman. This one was not the alleged— allegedly, no, they caught her. That's the Jesus of the Bible. And to those of you who have left your calling and the things God has said about you because you made a mistake, you sinned, you had abortion, you got a child out of wedlock, okay. You stole, maybe they even expelled you from some churches. You were broke, you lied about something, and you were demonized, ostracized, and sent out. And now you don't even feel— and it could not even be any of these things— and you don't even feel God can do anything much with your kind anymore. And for a while you've become become numb, giving up on the need for— I mean, come on, they say people that go, you say, no, no, not my kind. You believe you've blown this away, and you just sit there, then you are not even moved if they call people's name in meeting, they don't call your name. You're not moved. You expect it, that, I mean, God has moved on from me. I've come to announce to you, it's closer than you can ever imagine. There is hope for a tree even though it is cut down and the roots wax old in the earth, yet at the scent of water to spring back to life again. If you're here and you've given up on certain aspect of your calling because you made a mistake mistake. Come now, let me agree with you in prayers. Come, come, I want to agree with you in prayers. The Lord has sent me with a word for you this morning. Allow them, let them just come, let them just come, just come, come. If you want to lay down, lay down. You want to kneel, kneel. Whatever posture, just come, come, come, my friends, come. Come, come.
Yeah. And his glory appears like the light from the sun, eet tuwitsch, eet shaat. Oh, look to the sky and hear the angels cry, singing, "Holy is the Lord," and his glory appears. Like the light from the sun, hey, to it he shines. Oh, look to the sky and hear the angels cry.
Let me give you a moment to pray. Just tell God, I'm here, Lord. Call him Daddy. He's been waiting for you. Call him Daddy. He's been waiting for you. Call him Daddy. Just call him. He's been waiting for you. He's been longing for you. It's yours. That anointing is yours. What he showed you is yours. So he's been waiting for you to come. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. Falling in love with Jesus. Falling in love with Jesus. Falling in love With Jesus is the best thing I've ever, ever done. In his hands I feel protected, in his hands never disconnected. In his hands I feel protected. There's no place I'd rather ever be. We will stand in the golden city, in the New Jerusalem. All our fears and all our tears will be no more. We will stand with the host of heaven and cry, holy is the Lamb. Holy, holy, holy He is the Lamb. God doesn't bury his wounded soldiers, he heals them. He doesn't bury his wounded soldiers, he heals them. Get up, everybody. I want to tell you something. Stand if you can. Stand. Stand if you can. Look up, everyone. You'll get back to the things you used to do. I know you. Ah, where's your son? Where's Ima? Ah, please let me get a seat for her. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. Get a good seat for her in front. When she comes. Thank you, Lord. I'll see you before I go. I see you. When Jesus asked that those men that stood by that woman trying to stone her to death, he said, let he who is without sin be the first to cast stone. And they all began to drop the stone and According to Hebrews 4:15, he's the only high priest who is without sin. So only him had the right to condemn her. And guess what he said? I condemn you neither. What I'm doing this morning is to re-echo what he said 2,000 years ago. He still say the same thing: there is no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. Go back to the things you used to do. Forget about the face of men. Look not to their faces. They'll talk, they criticize you, they try to cut you down, give you the impression that you are nobody. You who has made this mistake, to your master you rise and to your master you fall. And your master is able to keep you from falling. Go back to the things you left. The anointing you think— you thought went dormant or left, it never left, your mind drifted because of guilt. Embrace the love of the Father this morning. Stretch your hands here, please. Oshas, help me help them. If there's anyone that certain manifestation sees over the years— Oshas, please help them quickly. I decree right now by the move of the Spirit that manifestations that you used to see Accurate knowledge, prophecy, that which you used to see, clarity in your heart is restored to all of you now. Is restored to all of you. Restored back. Take it back. Take it back. Take it back. Walk in deeper level of boldness and audacity. Thank you, Lord Jesus. It's done, it's done. Welcome back, brothers and sisters. Welcome back, welcome back. Please sit for a moment. It's done. Welcome back. Oh, thank you, Lord. Please be seated, church. Sit down for a while. Start tying up our strategies for fighting spiritual warfare. Okay, let me tune back to my mic now. All right, our strategies for fighting spiritual warfare. 2 Corinthians 10:3 says, though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. Weapon of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down what? Imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into what? Captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We don't— we've not been given carnal weapons. So how do we fight? How do we establish the kingdom? How do we navigate fighting yet through very dense horde of darkness? Because that's what we are. We are sheep among wolves. Serious hordes of darkness that many of our Christian brothers and sisters, and even pastors— permit me to use the word— have been conscripted. The darkness is now their new light, and they work for the prince of that darkness thinking they work for the prince of light. Once there is no love in your heart, you will fight on the side of the devil. Let me say it again. Once there is no love in your heart, your sword will fight on the side of the devil. It's, it's difficult now, and I'm going to try explain. We've been sent to set the captives free, those who have been bound Those who have been chained, go set them free. But this is the twist: when you set the captives free, it is not the enemy that will fight you. The devil has programmed the captive with a teeth to fight the deliverers, and yet bleats on behalf of the captors. The Israelites praised Moses and praised Pharaoh in the wilderness. They said, we Feast his delicacies— cucumber, onions, lemon, um, garlic, leeks. They were ailing Pharaoh for good economic provision, and they were fighting Moses. So once people stay long in captivity, you think going to set them free means they will clap for you? No, they have been programmed to fight you. So you've got to teach them before you break the chains. If you break the chain without teaching them, they'll kill you. They'll kill you. You've got to teach them. There's a reason why you're here. Teach them to know who the real enemy is, because they've come— they've moved from pain to falling in love with the chains. They now kind of enjoy it. And once something looks a bit difficult, they quickly embrace the next quick option, even though it is deeper bondage. Just come, just anything out of this. But it's from fire pan to fire.
It's programming.
It's mental programming. It's happening now. What can we do? We have to teach. The Israelites praise Pharaoh. They so much so, after 40 years, they said we missed him. Say, let's make captains for ourselves, let's return back to Egypt. Interesting. Is that Numbers chapter number 14? Now please get that scripture out for me.
What?
They've seen the Red Sea part, they've seen manna fall from heaven, they've seen God bring quails when they ask for meat. They thought that freedom will mean it will be easy. Even me, I've made the mistake. When God told me that a time will come that my, um, wisdom will be needed to navigate tough times in the body of Christ— then will I cause your voice to be heard, that all who hear you will not lack light and direction— oh, I thought people will clap for wisdom. Listen, what is again? All who hear you. Not all will hear you. That's why you see that when In Hebrews 11, when they were talking about the Hall of Fame of Faith— men who— men like Jephthah, women who received their dead raised back to life, men of whom the world was not worthy of— one of the strange descriptions of those men was that they shut the mouth of lions. That's Davidic. You know, you think— look at you, you think they shut the mouth of lion like just went and shut my lion's mouth. No, shutting the mouth of lion is love work. So let me explain. Peter was warning, he said, be sober, be vigilant, for the devil, your adversary, roams about, is prowling like a wounded lion seeking whom he may devour. And how do lions devour? They go for the sick, they go for the injured, they go for the isolated. In other words, lion goes for rebellious people. So it means I must love so much that although you are in the mouth of lion, I will risk my life. You've said so much against me, I will risk my life and draw you out of his mouth. That's love work. We love the ones that does not require love to show energy, but do you know that love is the real spiritual might? The capacity to love is weight.
Please.
Ooh, are you still here? And in understanding how the devil fights, because we've been told there are 3 things I want to warn you against. Number 1, when the devil wants to destroy the reality of something that God is doing in a generation, he does either of these three. He does either of these three. Please, the same playbook every time. Anytime the devil wants to fight and destroy something God is doing beautifully in a generation, he does either of these three. Number one, he raises a counterfeit. You know, do you understand? Why fight a Pastor when you can raise a fake one? Why fight the prophetic when you can raise fake prophet? The fake will make you hate the original. After all, you don't have love in your heart and you're not patient to discern. Just simple. It's a simple trick. Just raise the fake, then give the fake voice. Make sure they have money for subscription on YouTube and TVs. Make it what people see so they will get so angered and hate it. You should hate what is false. Don't hate the dimension. Don't hate the prophetic. Have disregard for lies and for falsehood, not the prophetic. Don't hate the apostolic. And some of you just open your mouth and say, nowadays, everybody is just answering the title apostle. You are about to become one, and you will swallow call your words with shame. Everybody just calling themselves Apostle. You see that? You look at people that God called, say they are calling themselves. That's who we are. Why are you angry? Because you are not one. Maybe he's called you, but your religion will not let you take it. We now believe it's humility to be called a pastor. Me, I'm, I'm humble. You are so humble you are proud about it. That's spiritual pride with marks in sobriety. And please let nobody cut what I've just said now out of context. I'm speaking to you. Because social media is the new demonic connection. Feed on it at your own risk. You, you are my audience. The devil raises the counterfeit. Number 2, he does— he make ministers spend time fighting the counterfeit. Makes ministers spend time fighting the counterfeit instead of maturing the original. And in the process of fighting the counterfeit, they destroy the original. There's an adage: you don't leave your shop open to go fight a thief. Sela. And let me also give a warning, and I want you guys to listen. There is no such thing as making a joke about a word that a man of God uses consistently. Once you do, you make it— you, you, you make it contemptible. It's not content. It's not content. It's not content. It's bad. It's spiritual disregard. It's not content. We must be wise. Selah means pause and meditate. Don't make a content out of it. It's not content. It's not content. It's not fun. We must have spiritual intelligence while we do what we do. It's not content. Everything is not content. So the devil programs ministers. Now our duty is to mature the saints. Then no, want to fight the fake. Then they destroyed the saints. Number 3, ah, this one is a very serious one. Don't write yet. When the devil want to really destroy something, he gives it a name. He wants to destroy the idea of prosperity, he calls it Prosperity Gospel. He names it. To name it means he's vomited on it. You will not, you will not want it again. Say, I, I don't preach such. You see that? He gives it a name. He names. How many things has the devil named that the church now reject. We don't even have much to advance the kingdom, yet the wisdom of God in the word to give us that knowledge, we say no. Now there is a silent one creeping in. Now they say influence gospel.
You know what that means?
That God is not giving believers influence. Interesting, interesting. You know, you, because because you don't read the Bible and you have low self-esteem. You take everything, then you now want to say it so you can be acceptable in some quarters. How many Christians are spiritually mature to know weight of words? How many things are the church shying away from because the devil did the naming ceremony? He names it, he names it, he gives it a contemptible name. It is in years to come that some of you will know the weight of work that some of us are doing now. But we have to suffer the same cup, because the same way they didn't listen to our fathers, they won't listen. And some of us will take serious names till you get to heaven and say, ah, ah, so this was what I was doing on earth. Oh yes, you do it more. You did more because that's who you are. You feel in your heart that if you were around in the days of Jesus, you would have been among disciples. You won't. You'll be among those that will say crucify him, because that's what you are. We don't learn from history. I, I'll get somewhere now. You see Sorry guys, sorry, sorry, calm down. Sorry, I love you guys, you know. Nobody is smiling. Some Christians cannot even drink water on the altar. It's religious spirit. They feel you drink water on the altar, you, you— let's Let's investigate a bit of religion. If I'm preaching, for instance, and I get comfortable, I put my hand here, they say, you see, ah, all this arrogant pastor. But if a white man does that, maybe it's cold, you say, that thing is not your problem. Your religious mind is your problem. You see, you are the problem. Why is he sitting down to teach now? Till you read in Matthew 5 that Jesus sat down to teach disciples. Oh, sorry. Religion has finished us. It's like a fish that they've eaten all the organs inside. What's left is the skin, but we are still floating in the water. Why does he have beards? The devil is giving you work. What more now? Okay, God fights with men, but the devil also fights with men. Understand that both sides fight with men.
Just so you know, the devil also has Christ criteria for his men.
It's true. You not just get job with him because you like him. You've got to have capacity. Unfortunately, there are people that even the devil can't use, but he will take them to hell, but he can't really use them. They don't have capacity for much, you understand what I'm saying? They are neutral gases, neon. If they join a church, there's no impact. Teach them for 20 years, ask them, what did I say? They don't remember. You can't cook a stone. How you respond to discipleship also matters, the quality of person that you are. Jesus pastored 12. One betrayed him. One One denied him. Eight went back to fishing. In Acts 1, the one that's supposed to be the leader was asking, have you come to restore the kingdom back to Israel? But he said, all that the Father given to me I have kept, except for the sons of partition. Many of you have many things now, many pastors that God has ordained for you. All things are yours, but you can't hear them. Meanwhile, you don't even know quarter of what they know. It's religious spirit. And now, as pastors, we now lie to our members. We try to make them believe that our church is the height and depth of everything God is doing. We now stylishly jab other churches. They're not like your friends. We don't do this here. You know, we start jabbing them. We jabbing the bride of Christ. Fellow bride, bate wa fare. We start jabbing other pastors so that they will not leave our church.
Church.
Interesting business strategy. You look at Apostle Lazarus, say, okay, what was he teaching? The devil saying, that's my boy, that's my boy. Am I devil talking where the pastor is preaching and saying, that's my boy? So the believer needs to have spiritual capacity You want to do much for God? Spiritual capacity. Be a person of the spirit. You need to have sacrificial capacity. It will take sacrifice. You'll have to stretch yourself. It will not always be convenient. There will be days of pain, days of whatever. In case you see some of us being dragged, insulted, mocked, and lied against, and you feel you are smarter. Wait till you drink of the cup. You see Jesus hanging on the cross, I feel I'm better. It's true. Peter that denied him, they crucified him upside down. Hahaha, interesting. Okay, so you need mental capacity also because spiritual capacity will not overrule a dull mind. Don't sing a bad song and say Holy Ghost cover it. Off-key everywhere. I say this will go out and reach all nations. It's your family members that will hear it, and they will hear it out of pity. There are things I don't want to mention here because religious spirit is in the air everywhere, but let me give you one. We need capacity for large-scale impact. It's It's called influence. Do you believe you need influence? Okay. So now, what I found out over the years is that an average believer raised in the church is highly recruitable for the devil. If we know the rate of what what I just said now will cry every day. Now you can pastor people for 20 years, but they are still recruitable. The devil will recruit them without stress. So now, this is a strategy statement. The major problem to what the devil is doing on earth now is not the many number of Christians. Large volume of Christians are not hindrance to what the devil is doing on earth. It is the few who are carrying the touch, who know the truth and can revive others. The devil leave the crowd to fight those ones. Our size and numbers doesn't intimidate him. After all, out of that millions of people, maybe 50% are still working for for him without even knowing. So he's not moved by— sorry, all the numbers. He's really threatened by few who carries that touch. Hey, who carries the fire, knows the truth, and can wake others from sleeping and say, wake up, wake up, the bridegroom cometh. Those ones that can revive others, he will leave the rest and fight them with the crowd. If the church has never fought you, you've not risen enough. That doesn't mean you are smart. You've just not touched something. And by the way, you can play safe all your entire ministry. Can play safe, guys. Yes, just be the friend of the crowd. One time they were Hailing me online. Now, where has this man been? Where has he been? Then somebody now commented and said, you don't know him, we know him. When he brings the Part B, I hope you see him. But you know what we do? We build tents in the praise and make it our ministry. There's supposed to be an announcement, but But that's not your destination. You now bring out the real work, and we must be ready to lose the fame. Don't maintain views, maintain truth.
Maintain truth.
Do you understand what I'm saying here? Now look at this. So the devil has also mastered the strategy of using men of God to fight on his side. And when you see a man of God using dagger on another man of God and puncturing him, and that man of— the one who is killing the other one is not fake, is genuine. That lack of love is genuine. One of the— okay, I wrote here that one of the most effective tools in the hands of devil, the devil, are emotional ministers. It's emotional, it's emotional. A lady saw me one time in the airport, like, Apostle How do you cope? You know, sometimes when they go online and drag you, how do you cope?
Hmm.
So I say, it's like they've dragged you before? Say, yes, they dragged me yesterday. Hey, I say, but I didn't see it. Say, no, in my comment section. Oh, come off it. In the days of peace, prepare for war. We've not been called world for peaceful times. Ah, the fact that you are pitying me is a sign that you are still far. Hey Apostle, how will Apostle sleep tonight? Now I'm eating because I prepared for this and more. They slap the apostles, they drag them, they, they hit them. They, they, they, the whole nation gathered and pushed them out. The Bible said men of whom the world was not worthy of, they lied against them. Nobody has slapped me, and yet I'm pursuing the same crowd, the same crown. Don't get addicted to love. Do the job, and when your time comes, get out of the scene.
To the job! Jesus.
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen. Just get the job done. One of the most eventful stories I watched was the story of, um, Jimmy Swaggart and Tim Baker. This Jim Baker, look at this story. When the news came out that Jim Baker had been caught in adultery, I watched when the interviewer was asking Jimmy Swaggart, now when he comes back, will he be admitted back in the body of Christ? Blah blah blah blah. And you know the American church, they don't forgive. Oh yes, we've patterned after that also. So he said, I look at the boldness with which he was talking. I was afraid actually, like, hey, I should understand that if I think I'm standing, it's God who is keeping me. So I cannot preside over the conversation of one who fall like one who doesn't have the capacity to fall. Take away grace, put us in the same room, I'll make worse mistake. So I was much more afraid for the audacity which he was speaking, that, oh yes, this, this, this, and all that. Few moments later, Jimmy Swaggart now was caught in the same thing which had been going on while he was speaking with that boldness. Are you seeing how you can talk with boldness because you've not been caught? What really makes us cry. It's not that we love God, it's public knowledge. Now there's, there's a sweet ending, don't worry. And I watched— I, I was in Kansas City, Missouri that night. I was on the floor in tears. Watching the video of the day Jimmy Swaggart stood in front of the church. If the media can get me that video, take away the audio, just the video, put it on the screen. The day he stood in front of the church crying and saying, forgive me, I have sinned. Even in that, many believers still don't have the ability to forgive. Who is stabbed and stabbed and stabbed. And fellow pastors who has been angry that, are you the only one occupying that place? Now is the opportunity. Now, oh, it's finished now. They think God has lifted somebody to fill the space they should occupy. So when the person goes down, they are so excited now. Oh, now they can hear us at least. God is not cheating on you to bless anybody. They're excited now, they're happy. Okay, now, oh, this— a young man went to a place. The guy fell out of faith for what I'm saying. He went to a church and saw his church, his pastor Pastor had called some group of pastors, some media guys. They were discussing strategy and all that, and he got to the room where they were discussing, and guess the topic on the board? Femi Lazarus. Why is he everywhere?
What can we do?
And the guy stood there with shock and said, if this is Christianity, I'm out. From pastor's protocol, he fell off the faith. Boy, oh boy, may the eyes of the church be open. I'm going towards where I'm going to close now. So of course, when Jim Baker was going to be— because he was jailed, a foremost preacher was jailed. The son of Jim Baker was saying this when Jimmy Swaggart died, that he sent letters to prominent pastors who were friends of the parents, who were helping them and assist coming around in the days that things were fine. Nobody responded, only Jimmy Swaggart, because now he knew what it means to be down. And he was the one who was able to respond and enlighten his his prison sentence. And that's how Jim Breaker got freed. For we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmity, seeing that he was in all points tempted like as we are, but yet without sin. He can be touched. If somebody is down, let it touch you. Yes, that's the pattern we have. And all this noise All these things, anyone who doesn't show mercy will not receive it. May one day never come that there will be a stain on your clothes. They will kill you too the way you have killed others. Keep bragging, keep bragging. You are the height and depth of the move of God. Keep bragging, brag in your own strength. So you wonder how people can champion revival with their lives for years, and one slip, the church cancels them. Oftentimes we speak against Samson that he died on the laps of Delilah, but are you aware that his brothers just a chapter before. Look at it. George's chapter number 15. His brothers, his brothers have been through dark times. Ah yeah, yeah, valley of the shadow of death. Those that people say are bad are the ones who stood. I found—
you understand what I'm saying?
Keep canceling people. You don't know who will stand by you in the days of distress. You don't know, you are young, you talk anyhow, you gloat, you do all those things. Wait for one trouble, one. Jesus gave the parable, the guy was wounded by robbers, the high priest came, saw him, moved on. Many religious folks came and saw him and moved on. It took a Samaritan because they were rejected people. He knew what that means. If God has saved you from something, it is so you can extend mercy. Don't lie about what he saved you from. Why are you lying about your story? In our own days, we live triangular life— campus to church. Meanwhile, you had a girlfriend. And you even kissed. Some of you even did something. Now somebody is down, tell us how God saved you. You start lying. Allah. And Jesus is wondering, was I not the one who washed you and saved you? Did I not? Now you deny it.
Amen.
We cannot have mass returning home of unbelievers coming back to the faith as long as we keep lying about what he redeemed us from. You feel you are prettier lying like one who's never never made a mistake. So you look at it, Judges 15. Can you— Samson had to beg them. He said, okay, now you are taking me to the hands of the enemy, no problem, but don't touch me. He said, you make sure you don't fall on me, because he couldn't bear the sight. He knew once they touch him, the anointing will respond. He couldn't bear the sight of the blood of his brethren through his hands. They took him, burned him. And when they took him to the enemy— hope you know that was when he killed with the jawbone of an ass. Your brothers will tie you and deliver you to be afflicted. It's a matter of when, and your heart must be prepared. So the The same Samson now found warmth on the laps of Delilah. He became the message of the church. How about the brethren who threw him out? You see a very painful story in Deuteronomy 32.
When—
how many times did God say to Moses that I'm done with the Israelites? Several times. Moses will beg several times. God say, let me wipe away these guys. He will beg. God will repent. How many times did God say about Moses that you will not enter the promised land? Once. Meaning that he had the capacity to change his mind if there's a man to stand in the gap. But nobody. Deuteronomy 32:48, nobody, nobody. Meanwhile, God had given a verdict over Moses. Moses might now be down, ah, 40 years of work, so it ends here. Is this it now? And somebody come and say, good morning, oh Moses. And the man is carried away thinking about the burden. Is this it now? Death sentence is a big deal. And the person now say, ha, church hot, church hot. I greeted Moses, he didn't answer. Church hot. Nobody gets hot like the pastor. Nobody gets stabbed stabbed like the pastor. Nobody gets betrayed like the pastor. Nobody gets lied against like the pastor. Church hot? You want to know where church hot reside? Ask the pastor. Ask his wife. Moses, you won't look at it. Project the scripture. And the Lord spoke unto Moses, that's self-saved. Same day, saying, get thee up into this mountain, um, into this mountain Abarim, unto the Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, which is over against Jericho. For behold, and behold the land of Canaan, which I gave to the children of Israel for a possession. And die in the mount, whether thou goest up. That is, when you go up, you will not come back. And, and be gathered unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother died in the mount Hor, and was gathered to his people, because you have trespassed against me. Oh God, I have a principle. Anybody who walks works close with me knows the principle. If somebody misbehave, maybe a pastor— I don't want to use any pastor as example. Come, let me use you. He's a son, so I can— a pastor misbehave and I corrected the pastor. If the rest of the pastors Don't quickly come and rally around this person to explain, this is what Apostle is saying, and help the person get better. They're in trouble because the objective of correction is not to ostracize. It's a principle, and my wife even knows me with this principle. If I rebuke someone, come on, go behind, go behind now and wrap your hands around the person. It's two sides of a government. So when God said, Moses, this is the judgment— anytime he pronounced judgment, he expect that a mediator will rise, but nobody.
Yes.
Yes, Joshua took over, but it took God's efforts to strengthen Joshua. Moses was too much. Joshua had to say, please just be with me as you were with Moses. The people were hollering out, go, leave us, bad people! Are you sure you can handle the vacancy? And for some of us, God will just say, Israel is not ready, go and strengthen other nations that are ready, then come back years later. That's what has happened to many ministries in Nigeria. They rise, we fight them. I will not let my holy one see corruption. God spread them them across the world, and we are suffering the vacancy of the anointing. Abi, when that guy said, who made Moses a captain of ours? Talk. Did God give them another captain?
No.
For 40 years? None. It matters whose narrative you are allow to prevail. Because if you allow false narrative against those God sent you to prevail, you are the one that will lose.
That will suffer.
You will, you will, guys, you will.
Sorry, it's true. And one of the things devil has done successfully is to believe that you are fine without the people God has sent to you, that you do well. Pastor is your problem. Bishop is your problem. Pastor Chris is your problem. All of them are problems. Interesting. Metusela was called a useless old man till he died. You now saw that his name was prophetic. It means when this one dies, the earth will be judged. Then the flood came. The length of his days was the length of mercy. The age of, of Methuselah, that you call useless, that was the length of God's mercy waiting for them to repent. While he was still waiting, Noah was already shouting, embrace the ways of the Lord. But mercy was waiting. We call that useless. There are vacancies that are being created now. Anybody who is in the spirit will begin to cry in the secret place. Oh, we can't handle this vacancy. They can't go now. You look at those old men, a pastor with his staff praying from midnight till dawn, interceding over Nigeria. We say, na prayer will go chop. And you as a Christian, who some of them even goes to the church, will come online and drag your pastor. When they leave, when they exit, we see ourselves keep shouting. Keep talking, keep throwing stones. I understand the race gets tougher as you get close to the end. What's this sound about the Rahama? Mercy. Okay, string, raise that sound.
Yes.
Ama.
Woo-hoo!
Amen! Ahahaha... Let he who has ears hear what the Spirit— now look at it, you can no longer find my livestream online again. This one is on the Bill of Mercy. Something this heavy would have been going on, nobody would have heard. From next year I no longer pastor over a church Sunday, Sunday, Tuesday Bible study. The luxury is over. Now I focus on pastors.
Why?
Simple. We have rejected our teachers. Now nations are calling. From next year, we start laboring in other countries now. And there are many more, because what God wants to do cannot be shut down. So we have to quickly go to the next place the devil is going. Whatever is doing in Nigeria is a template for what he will do in other places. Kenya particularly, it's become a pattern now for pastors to call them themselves out on the altar. It's a lifestyle. It has come to stay, right? Because we want to correct.
Interesting.
We'll do all we have to do, and when our time comes, we bow out, and other generations will continue. But the vacancy will be loud. Okay, so some of you now, God is already giving you other countries. What replacement do we have? He has been training their leaders, political leaders. Across all Africa, on the simple same messages they fight here. Go check anybody who is impactful, their home country fight them. There are people you believe it's here, you see them as mighty men. Go to their country, scorn them. Nobody even invites them. Sometimes I sit down, I stand in front of the church to teach, and I'm just asking myself, what do we do now? They are programmed. They come for Sunday service, they miss Tuesday, they come next Sunday, they fight what they are hearing. What do we do now? Some of us, our days in this country is numbered. We have to labor with other labor fields now, with this same knowledge, with this anointing. There are countries I've never stepped into that my messages were the most streamed, and I've never been there. I was in Qatar. I was amazed to see people of different countries who have been healed from trauma, healed from depression. Those who wanted to commit suicide from the teachings. Guess who said my teachings are from the Antichrist?
The church.
This is not exegesis. Don't you know when Jesus is moving? The devil has successfully made you believe that you are fine without those that God has anointed for you. It makes you believe they are trying to exploit you. They are thieves. Femi Lazarus is taking money from politicians. He's compromised now. We destroyed the present but we get fascinated by the past. Oh, we always have fascination about the past. Here the average believer talk about the days of Babalola. You would think if he was there, would not insult him. The Jews were fascinated about Abraham, they missed Moses for 40 years. They were fascinated about Moses, they missed Jesus. They were fascinated about the days of the disciples, they missed several moves of God.
Now we are fascinated about Babalola, we miss Again, we are fascinated about Idaosa.
We are missing Daddy G, Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Chris. We keep getting fascinated about what we can reach and get blind towards what is around us. We have morbid fascination. We have So much love for the dead and contempt for the living. It's the reason why even the die bone of Elisha still raised the dead, but the man was not really valued in his lifetime. And the danger of that is that we keep pursuing the anointing of the dead and the living will die with the grace. Our eyes only get open towards inheritances once they are lost. Hebrews 12:16-17. Hebrews 12:16-17. Some people believe that you You can't stop putting your things out there because they criticize it. Let me tell you why it is important to give it to those who need it. Because when they fight it, even you will no longer take it. You are not that mature to still know it is food. So it is you we are protecting. Imagine that people like Pastor Chris have their services streamed. Now you wonder why they have that that mighty army. We still curse them anyways. That's what we do. That's what we do best. We find fault in everything, but if it is us, it's nice. Interesting people. How come you don't know what part you are playing in history? Pharisee, that's your job description. Hebrews 12:16 says, lest there be any fornicator or profane as Esau, who for one Moses of Midian sold his birthright. Look at verse 17: For you know that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. When the rapture of the church takes place and we leave, they will miss us. And if you are left behind, watch what what is happening to us now, worse will happen to you. Oh, they will miss us. The anointing for healing the sick is gone. Now you say everything is fake. Okay, heal yourself now. Those that will bring the word of God comfort, gone. One day, so at the sound of the archangel, at the last trump, the church will be raptured. Those that are dead in Christ will be the first to be taken, then we that are left will go. I pray when that day comes, you're not still here to see what is trending— missing people, all gone, mass disappearance. CNN, Fox News, Al Jazeera, breaking news everywhere. May you not be here to see it. I've shown you in plain terms the playbook of the enemy, and we're going to leave this for a witness. And guess what? Some part of this will be used to insult me, but I will leave it for a witness that at least I spoke. I'm not afraid. It is you I'm afraid for. If we put things inside, it is so that they will not even know how rich it is, but you can still drink honey from the rock. It's you we are protecting. But you that we are protecting, may your eyes be open before it is too late. I want to give us a moment. This is not It's not the kind of prayer you say, no, we will go on our faces. Lord, there's so much in this season, help me. See, listen, if after all that I've taught it still looks strange to you to go on your face before God, ah, it's because the matter is very deep. The front everywhere is free. Go on your face. Lord, help me.
Help me. Help me.
Mera ama jiya do bata banda wani shaikh ho ho ho!
Ho ho ho! Oh oh oh!
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. Ask for help. On this mountain shall the veil covering nations be removed. Ask him, help me, help us. Pastors, pray. Apostles, pray. Evangelist, pray. The sword you brought out is your brother you are stabbing, not the devil. Pray that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened. Pray, pray so you will not fight the move of God thinking you're doing him a favor.
Pray. Let's ask for mercy.
Let's flow. Let's ask for mercy. Though we are few, we're surrounded by many who had walked this river before. This is the song that will be played in forever. Holy is the Lord, holy is the Lord, holy the Lord, holy is the Lord. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Our Father, hear us from heaven, hear us from heaven, forgive our sins, forgive our sins, we pray. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Father, I ask that the veil covering the eyes of your children across the nations, that everywhere this message is heard, let the veils be removed. Let the playbook of the enemy be exposed. Let an army arise. Let soldiers be revived. Let those who have given up be quickened. Open the eyes of your children. Accept all our prayers in Jesus' mighty name. All right, you may get up on your feet and give Jesus a big, big I believe you've learned one or two things this morning. Is that the best you can do? Can you give Jesus a big hand? Let's just stretch our hands towards them while I pray for them. Do you mind I pray for you by laying on of hands? Okay, please go on your knees. Go on your knees. I want the ushers to help me, it might be quite heavy. Please just stand behind them, go on your knees. Father, I ask that the anointing, boldness, everything you need to do what you have to do, let the weight of the finger of God come upon you. And may you be someone who can receive and retain what God has for you, in the name of Jesus. Let the finger of God rest upon you like never before. Fresh grace, fresh unction, fresh impartation. It's done. Thank you, Father, in Jesus' mighty name. God bless you.
Thank you.
You see, it may look like a joke that hands came on your head, but Just go and pray. You see what's going to happen. Let's just help them because it's not small what just came on you. If you will take it, um, by evening we gather by 4:00 PM and it's going to be a very serious night. This night means so much for Kano because in practice we will reunite the heart of children to fathers in practice, and then grace will be released upon all of us. Are you ready for that? And, um, Apostle Michael is already on his way now, so he also join us tonight. P. Daniel was not able to make it this year because he had to do something quickly in another country, which he has never missed this if he's on ground. So next year he's going to— um, yes, Pastor Edwards, next year officially now to drag you. So we're going to be doing this together, Pastor

Get ready for another session of Public School with Femi Lazarus this Sunday.

If those you trust question what you see, will you still have the courage to move forward?
