KANO APOSTOLIC MEETING || DAY TWO || 20TH NOVEMBER 2025

Pastor Isaac Oyedepo preached on Acts 2 at the Kano Apostolic Meeting, distinguishing between the sound of Pentecost and the personal mark of the Holy Spirit. He outlined five requirements for receiving this mark: deep prayer, unity, disciplined discipleship, wilderness intimacy with God, and a holy lifestyle. He criticized the current generation as gift-rich but fruit-poor and markless.
Chapters
Lift your voice and sing!
I will drown the world! I will drown the world!
Those voices, those voices! Those voices, those voices! Sing on! Please, can you hold a partner? Can you hold a partner? We are going to be asking God for an encounter in this place. It is possible to be around an encounter and never encounter anything. In the book of Genesis chapter 28, the Bible says Jacob was around a place where the Bible says angel was ascending and descending. Yes, he missed something. When the woman with the issue of blood came to Jesus, Peter told Jesus, 'Others are pressing towards you, yet they couldn't encounter anything.' But Jesus turned and said, 'Someone touched me.' In tonight's meeting, may you be that someone that the Lord will encounter. Whether you are sitting at the back or the front, I want you to open your mouth and say, 'My Father, in this meeting, may I have an encounter.' Open your mouth and pray that prayer. Maranatha bascom, pradakete. There's a river inside me that is able to drown me. For your name is holy, you are holy.
Make sure you are praying.
I did not come to spectate! I did not come to spectate! I did not come to spectate her! I did not come to spectate her!
I came to receive an encounter! Eh, hallelujah, hallelujah!
Most of us, maybe we came for one thing know the order, but I want you to understand from scriptures, anybody that had a divine encounter with Jesus, there was something they had. Everybody say hunger! Shout it, say hunger! Shout it, say hunger! Luke chapter 19, verse 1. Please give me an Amplified or NIV. Luke chapter 19, verse 1. I want to show us something. Luke chapter 19, verse 1. Luke 19:1. Luke 19:1. And it says here, Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. Jesus will be passing in this meeting tonight, but whether he will encounter you is dependent on you, not Jesus. Verse 2, a man was there.
All right.
And there was a man called Zacchaeus. And there was a man in this meeting called Ekemeni. Can you put your name there? And there was a man called Zacchaeus. A chief tax collector, and he was rich. Now, Zacchaeus was a man who did not see his title at this point because he needed a very— visitation. Now let's see number 3. And he was trying to see Jesus. A rich man trying to see Jesus means that this is not a meeting where you come with your title. This is a meeting to stretch. Verse 3, verse 3, verse 3. He was trying to see Jesus. And he was trying to see Jesus, which one he was, but he could not have an account of the crowd because he, he was small in stature. He, he allowed his limitation not stop him. Verse 4, so he ran on ahead and climbed up in the sycamore tree. He did not allow his limitation. Whether you are sitting at the back and expecting a touch, there is a way your hunger can ascend and Jesus will notice you from the back. I want you to say, my Father, my God, in tonight's meeting, may I have a divine intervention, may I have a divine visitation. Be somebody that prays that prayer. Maranake Soto. Mambredeketekayena. Mabrada koboyata. Roko posko periata. Femi Lazarus.
We have come to draw Draw, draw, draw from you again. Oh, I am going to draw, draw, draw, draw, draw. Oh, I am going to draw, draw, draw. I am going to draw, I am going to draw, draw, draw, draw from you again. I am going to draw. I need sister, I need sister.
Okay, something rest on me. I need sister in tonight's meeting that I will see Jesus.
I need sister, I need sister, I need sister, I need sister.
I will clap for that prayer. Jesus must notice me.
Jesus Jesus must notice me.
Jesus must notice me in tonight's meeting. Jesus must notice me. The name of Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ. Mark chapter 8, verses 22. I want you to hold the hands of someone in this place, and I want you to pray because your life depends on it. One encounter can change your life for life. Mark chapter 8, verses 22. And he come back to Bethsaida, and they bring a blind man unto him, and he besought him to touch him. Verse 23. And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when he had spit on his eyes and put his hands upon him, he asked if he— he asked if he saw. Next verse. And he looked up and said, I see men as trees. Now this was a first touch, but the first touch only allowed him to see men as trees. You may have come yesterday, there was a touch, but today's touch will bring clarity. That's why God brought this meeting. To be a 3-day waiting so that the first day can be touched, the second day, and the third day. Now the next verse, please, the next verse, because I want us to pray from a standpoint of revelation. Verse 25: After that, he put his hands again— everybody say again, shout it, say again— he put his hands again upon his eyes and made him look up, and he was restored and saw very clearly. In tonight's meeting, I wanted to shout and say, Lord, I see clearly in tonight's meeting for my destiny, for my destiny, I see clearly. Open your mouth and pray that prayer. I have come to draw, draw, draw, draw from you again.
I have come to draw, I have come to draw. Oh, I have come to draw, draw, draw, draw, draw, draw.
Yeah!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! The last prayer, Luke chapter 8, verses 41. I want you to bring a hunger this night. Sometimes it's not about the power of God, it's about your hunger. Luke chapter 8, verse 21. And he answered and said unto them— Luke chapter 18, sorry, Luke chapter 18, verses— Luke chapter 8, verses 41. 41, please. 41, please. And behold, there came a man named Jairus. And he was a ruler of the synagogue, and he fell down at Jesus' feet and besought him that he would come into his house. If you can give me NIV, verse 43, 43, 43, please. Mashileke, 43, quickly, please. And a woman having an issue of blood, and a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for 12 years, but no one could heal her. 44. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately— everyone say immediately— her bleeding stopped. 45. Jesus said, who touched me? Now this was Jesus going to Jairus's house, had no business with this woman, but the woman said, if Jesus will not come to me, I'll come to him. Everyone say, hunger. I want to say in tonight's meeting, Lord, you will notice me in tonight's meeting.
I have an encounter. Open your mouth and pray that prayer. I've come to draw, draw, draw.
Thank you. Lift your hands and just give Jesus worship. Come on, give him praise. Let everything within you magnify him. He is the Lord God Almighty. The whole earth is full of his glory. Thank you. Thank Thank you, thank you. Something is changing in your life from inside out. It is from inside out.
Thank you.
As you see, as you behold, you become. Thank him for that. We bless your holy name, Jesus. In Jesus' mighty Mighty name we have prayed. Can we give Jesus a big hand tonight? And the man who just finished leading us in prayer is Pastor Nelson Ekemeni, all the way from Uyo. Let's give him a big, big, big hand tonight. I want to to bring the first word session. I told him that even if all he did tonight is to cough, we are blessed. Is it—
can we just lift up our voice this evening and just bless the Lord? Can we give him praise from the depth of our heart? Oh, Jesus!
Oh, Jesus!
Oh, Jesus! Can you lift your hands and bless him? There is none like him. Oh, do, do, do, Jesus. No, we bless you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. Lord, we receive your word in simplicity tonight, and we ask that light will shine and flood our heart in the name of Jesus. Can we say that amen louder? All right, please, before you have your seat tonight, permit me to be a bit biased. I want you to, from the depth of your heart and with so much honor, celebrate my father, my captain, my archer, Apostle Femi Lazarus. Come on, is that how we do it? Light Nation Kano, that sounds like it. And I'm sure that Pastor Mimi is also watching online. Can we celebrate Mama in absentia? We love you. Thank you so much, Mom. I want to sincerely appreciate all the ministers seated. It's an honor to be standing in front of God's General. Can we please celebrate them tonight? And let us celebrate all our pastors and ministers in the house. Pastor Nakale, Pastor Tumishi, Pastor Pelumi, Pastor Emmanuel Solomon. Come on, can we do that better? Let's celebrate them tonight. And you want to celebrate yourself as you take your seat. God bless you.
Amen.
You know, when Apostle came up and he said something about seeing, I said maybe I should just say in Jesus' name we have prayed, because he summarized everything I wanted to to talk about. Please, uh, if you don't play for me, I would— please help me, help my ministry, please.
Thank you.
Genesis chapter 12, we start the reading from verse 1. Genesis chapter 12, we start the reading from verse 1. Now the Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country and out of thy kindred from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show you. Next verse. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. Next verse. And I will bless them that bless you, and curse them that curse you, and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. I want to ask us a question tonight. Who did God give the instruction to get out of his father's house?
Who did God—
please, I need response. Who did God give the instruction to? Who did God tell to take the step to go on the journey? Abraham. But how come God is now saying that I will bless you, I will bless your generation? The generation that is coming behind are not the one to obey the instruction. They are not the one to get out of their father's house, out of their kindred. But on the basis of Abraham obeying that instruction, generations yet unborn are going to enjoy the dividend. There is something in that scripture that we need to pay attention to, and it's in verse— let's go to verse 2. God said to him, he said, I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. And, um, I'm sure maybe quite a number of us will know that there are 3 levels of dominion. The first is power, and you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. The second is authority, when you speak a thing, and you know, Apostle shared with us a story of, um, a prophet that the sons of the prophet wanted to test their prophet, and they brought in coolers with food, and they went to him and said, can you tell us what is in this food? And he got one right, but the other one he didn't get right. So the sons of the prophet were like, ah, you have missed it. He just told them, open it. By the time they opened the, the food has changed to what he said. That is authority. And the third level of dominion is name. For he has— Jesus has been given a name that is above every other name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow. And before Jesus even came, God extended that dominion to Abraham. He says, I will make your name great. It means that everyone that bears that name will be great. Everyone, everyone. And that was why when Sarai was maltreating Agar and she left, the angel of the Lord went to her and said, woman, you need to go back to the atmosphere that carries the blessing, because this seed is not permitted to be given birth to outside of that atmosphere. If you want this seed to be a partaker of that blessing, to be a partaker of that inheritance, you have to go back. And she obeyed. And you know, Apostle has told us that whether or not the boy is the— what God promised or not, so long he carried that name Abraham, he's blessed. Are you following me tonight? And it's interesting to know that when you read through the scripture, after Abraham then came Isaac, then came Jacob, then came the 12 tribes of Israel. I found out something in scripture. When Isaac was going to get married, a servant of Abraham was given an assignment to go look for a wife for Isaac. When he was setting out, he said a prayer to the God of Abraham. The God of Abraham went and stirred up the lady. You know, the lady could have felt, it's 2 o'clock, maybe I should just wait more. I'll go and fetch the water by 4 PM. But something stayed up. But when the one that is from the, the bloodline of the inheritance— he, he, he, he became a slave for 14 years because of a woman. And the servant understood what was resident in the family, but the one who is a son went to slave, went to labor for 14 years. The reason I'm saying what I'm saying tonight is because there are— I'm not here to do exegesis, you know, I don't know much. I just want to try as much as possible to open our eyes to something tonight, and we are going to take time to pray. If you check the book of Isaiah, Isaiah chapter 51 and verse 2, Isaiah chapter 51 and verse 2, can we have that on the screen? Now look at what scripture says. It says, look unto Abraham your father and unto Sarah that bare you, for I called him alone and blessed him and increased him. Let's have this in NLT very quickly. NLT, it says, yes, Think about Abraham, your ancestor, and Sarah, who gave birth to your nation. Abraham was only one man when I called him, but when I blessed him, he became a great nation. It means that what God does to a man is not for the man, is for generations to come. The, the ministers that we have here tonight didn't I was telling some of our church members on Sunday, I said, I said, if I should put up a flyer now and say, Kano Apostolic Meeting, and I put my picture and I do like this, I post like this, say I'm invited, you will not come. Is the truth, yes or no? You will not come now, but you are seated here listening to me. Why? Because I have a leverage by privilege that I'm standing on. And that's why scripture says that a man can be a hiding place from the tempest. I want to make you see something tonight. You know, Apostle Lawal was saying yesterday, and when he said that, I was— I looked at the person beside me who was— who is my protocol, rather. And I told him, I said, this is what I've been saying. Can we celebrate Pastor Olumese? I am privileged, honor, or really to, to be standing on, on the leverage of my father. Let me show us a scripture and I'll say something. Isaiah 32: Psalm 32:2, the scripture I just read now. It says a man can be— and let's have it in KJV, please— can be a hiding place from the tempest and a covert from the— as rivers of water in dry places, as the shadow of great rock in a weary land. Amen. It means that when God wants to bless a generation, when God wants to impacts a generation. He raises a man. And we don't just have a man tonight, we have men. Are you understanding what I'm saying? We have men. It is pride to labor where certain things have been made available already. It's pride to labor. It's pride. It's pride. I was sharing with some of our people recently, in 2020, the first International School of Ministry, there was one of those days Apostle told us to— a few of us to come to the altar and sit around him, you know, as he was teaching. And, um, as he was teaching, now in my mind I was like, what kind of man is this? That was the question that was going on in my mind.
What kind of man is this?
Where is this thing coming from? And there is no better way for me to explain it. Literally, I saw a palm resting on his head. Literally, literally. And the Lord said, that is the spirit of wisdom. And I've learned that when God shows you something, it doesn't show you for information. He's showing it to you so that you can press into it, that it is available for you. Then I began to pray. I said, this kind, this kind, this kind. I won't tell you what happened after that. God doesn't expect us— he doesn't expect us to labor. Where certain things are already in existence. Apostle Awa was saying it yesterday that there are people that are prophetic because that grace is resident in that family. They don't necessarily have to labor to press into it like someone who is, you know, hungry for it. They don't necessarily have to But I found out there are revealed, belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of the Lord. It means that whatever you are experiencing in your life now is all that you have seen, is all that you have seen. Do you know that even Abraham, that God told that I will make you a great nation, God told him that as far as your eyes can see. So it means that if, if what your eyes can see is, is the gate, the greatness of that name will reach the gate. It won't pass the gate. But if your eyes can see farther than that, then the greatness will extend to that.
Femi Lazarus.
Scripture says if you receive a prophet in the office of a prophet, you will get the reward of a prophet. That prophet can be other things. If you don't see that part of him as a prophet, you won't see the reward of him being a prophet. You won't. You know, maybe some of us don't know that our father is primarily a prophet, but what some people know him as is a therapist, trauma recovery, and all those things. If that is all you know, that is all you will have.
Have.
That's all you have. But if you can see farther, if you can see farther, you will get more. Everything that is revealed to you becomes yours.
Everything.
So my question to you tonight is, what do you see? What are you seeing? We have men here tonight. The interesting thing is that God won't see for you. He will only help you see. You have the responsibility to see. You know, Pastor Nelson was quoting a scripture the other time. He said the first touch He asked the guy, what do you see? He said, I see men as trees. Then he received the second touch, he now began to see clearly. This meeting is a gathering for the distribution of inheritances. What are you seeing? What are you seeing? What exactly do you want God to do in this meeting? If you are not specific, you have not seen well. There must be something, there must be something that when you are done with this meeting, you can tell that this thing rested. If you read the book of Genesis chapter 32 from verse 24 to 31, after Jacob had wrestled with the Lord, there was something he said in verse 31. And as he passed over Peniel— let me read verse 30 too. He said, and Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, for I have seen God face to face. And as he left that encounter The sun rose over him. Isaiah has been a prophet prophesying, declaring the word of God until we got to Isaiah chapter 6. It says, in the day King Uzziah— that I, Isaiah, saw the Lord. He saw something. Then the narrative changed. God asked Jeremiah in Jeremiah chapter 1 from verse 11 to 12, he said, what do you see, Jeremiah? He said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then God now said, I will hasten my word to perform it. It means if you have not seen, there is nothing God will do.
You must see.
That's the emphasis of what I came to do tonight. That we won't just come again and run through these 3 days without, without something tangible, without a weight resting on us. We must see. We must see. And I want us to pray. I want us to pray. There are things that I have seen, and even in the midst of up and down, you know, running here and there and all of that. I'm not distracted. I'm not distracted. I'm not. There is something. My, my, my face is set as a flint. There is something I'm looking for, and it's not is not, is not a mystery. I am precise. If you ask me now, I will tell you word for word. I am precise about it.
Why?
Because I have seen it. I have seen it. This is what God intends to do in my life through this meeting. I have seen it. What do you see tonight? What exactly is it that you want? Let me share a story with you and we pray. Few months back, I was trusting God. I've been seeing here and there, you know, some little, you know, pray for somebody, you know, that has toothache. You pray for the person that has toothache and 'Hey Pastor, I've been healed.' Oh, glory to God. But I've had testimony of straight— I remember when we went to Ife for one meeting like that, there was one guy they wheeled in. As Apostle moved to the— I will not lie, I was like, 'Hey God.' And the guy rose up.
Hey.
I began to desire for it. I began to press in for it. Then one of those days in church, he's here, he's somewhere here. The guy came to meet me, brought report that he went, he observed that he was feeling pain somewhere around his abdomen, so he went for test and they, they said he had kidney issues. I said said, yeah, this is an opportunity. I said, give me the report. I've heard Apostle, you know, do it, so we follow the pattern. Give me the report. I told him, there's— at the time I was telling me, even me, I was like, I just told him, yeah, don't worry, we're having 6 hours prayer next week. Yeah, we do something about it. And during the 6 hours prayer, we were praying and I just had that leading to give him the jacket I was wearing, and I told him to go back to check. By the time he went back, there's nothing. That was when I knew I had entered something, but I didn't enter it like that.
I saw something. You must see. You must see.
Without sight, you can't— there is nothing God can do. And I want us to pray. Maybe I have been able to help someone to gain light tonight, that as the ministers will be coming— you can imagine, I was telling, you know, someone yesterday, from Tuesday was when I knew that Hey, this year's meeting is not easy. How many of us noticed that Apostle didn't go the direction he wanted to go on Tuesday evening? I told somebody beside me, I said, this message has changed, this message has changed. It was that day I knew that Akano Apostolic Meeting this year is no joke. And look at how God brought the Father's we had. And there is something in the heart of God for us in this meeting. I am trusting God that there will be youths that will rise from this place that will burn for God. We have seen a lot of unrighteousness in Kano, especially among the youths and the young adults, messing around, doing all sorts. But I'm trusting God that he's going to raise one or two persons here that will change the narrative. Can we rise to our feet tonight? And I just want us to pray. In case you have not seen anything, ask the Lord to help you see something tonight. And in case you have seen something, communicate what you have seen to him in prayer and ask him, let something drop, let something rest, let there be a shift.
Do I have believers praying tonight? Can you lift your voice? Shambrekopa katiye debos. Mampreteke diando sikovrata ebre sito kopaliande. Yando broskopeke dias. I see tonight, I see tonight, let every veil be torn.
Please pray. Please pray.
Swallow your pride tonight. Come to the School of the Spirit. Don't you know in his hands are the keys to eternal life? It's a little here and a little there till the devil is at work in us. Thank you, Father. We give you praise. In Jesus' name we have prayed.
Wherever you are, can you raise your hands and worship this evening? The Lord is set to do so much in our midst tonight, and it has started already. I believe you heard everything that was being said. Can you raise your voice, raise your hands, and communicate your hunger to God in this meeting. The Lord is here, no doubt about that. But how ready are you to receive tonight? Come on, raise your hands, raise your voice. Can you pray in the Holy Ghost and saturate yourself tonight? Oh Lord, my God, all that I want is your Touch my faith. It is rising on this mountain to drink of your love. Someone here tonight. Oh Lord. My God, all that I want is your touch. My faith, it is rising on this mountain to drink from you. Are you ready tonight? Let me hear you.
Meh!
Oh! Hi! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Raise your voice! Hey, I'm on! Raise it up! Lift your voice. Yes! Yes! Underwater. Let's do it one more time. Yeah. I want the Holy Ghost! One more time! Femi Lazarus! Lift your eyes. Can you pray in the Holy Ghost wherever you are? The team of this meeting says cloven tongues of fire. Are you ready to receive what is coming tonight?
Lift your hands where you stand. I know you are in the spirit now. Raise a shout, raise a chant, raise a sound. Pray in the Holy Ghost if you can. That's Mary. Come raise that sound for me. Pray in the Holy Ghost if you can. Pray in the Holy Ghost if you can. For we are standing on old Holy ground, and we know there are angels all around. Then in the Golden City, in the New Jerusalem, all our fears and all our tears will be no more. We will stand with the host of heaven and cry, holy is the Lamb, holy, holy, holy. The glory of the Lord is here. Once you discern it, it is so you can dive into it. You must learn how to host the presence, how to soak into that atmosphere. Oh, we give you praise, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus, for your glory. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Lift your hands and just receive from him. Receive from him. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen. I will not break the flow because I wanted to introduce, but I will not break the flow. With so much expectation in your heart and honor, let's receive Apostle Lawal Suleiman. Even when you clap, stay connected.
In the presence of angels, we got glory on you. Like the voice of many waters, I can hear the angels sing. This is the realm of your glory. This is the realm of your grace. I can feel your mighty Power. It is moving in this place.
Lift your hands to him. You are whole.
You are whole, whole. You are whole. Oh, you are holy, you are holy, you are worthy, worthy. You are worthy. I beg you, lift your hands to heaven. There's a glory in this house.
You are worthy. You are worthy.
You are worthy.
You are welcome. You are holy, so holy. You are worthy, worthy.
Show us glory.
Glory, glory, glory, glory.
He rides upon the wings of the wind. He rides over the heaven by his name, Yahweh.
Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy. Thank you.
Lift your hands, lift your voice. Lift your voice. Let him hear your voice tonight. There is a procession of angels, the ladder of Jacob, and angels are ascending and descending. Angels are ascending and descending. Show us your glory, Jesus. Let your mighty presence— let the anointing of your spirit Flood this place, fill this place with your glory, Jesus. Exchange the air in this place, exchange the oxygen in this place for the weight of presence, the weight of glory. You are worthy.
Worthy! You are worthy! You are worthy! You are worthy! You are worth— you are wor— Worth it! You are wor—
You are worthy. Thank you, Father. You can receive in this moment anything you want to receive. You can receive right now, right Right now, right now, right now, right now, right now. There is a pool of Bethesda. There is a John 5 pool, and angels have stirred the waters, and anyone that jumps in—
ah!
In the name of Jesus, lift your hands. God did not gather us here to just have a conventional meeting. There is a cry for the emergence of God's God's ultimate warriors. I want you to lift your hands with hunger in your hearts. I see mantles falling, ancient, ancient mantles with inscriptions on them, ancient. Help us. I want you to help right now because there's a flame of fire, there's a burning, burning flame. Help, help, help all over this auditorium. Let that wave of power, let that wave of glory. Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow, let it blow, let it blow. Oh, there's fire here.
Touch!
That's it, that's it, that's it, my brother! That's it, my sister!
Touch!
Power of the Holy Ghost!
Shut up!
Look at it, look at it!
Touch!
That's the power of the Holy Ghost. Touch!
Help her, help her!
Touch! Fire! Help him, help him! What I see tonight, a mantle of patriarchs that have been hanging in the realm of the spirit waiting for hunger to pull them down. And tonight those mantles are coming upon people. Don't bring them out, just leave them on the ground there. Don't bring them out, just leave them on the ground. Look at fire falling. Help, help, help, help! Touch! That's it, my brother, touch!
Help!
I need ushers. Two more persons, help. Just pin him like this. Ancient mantles are falling. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Some of you are looking around when there is Something tailor-made for you, customized. Heaven thought about you when Apostle Femi Lazarus put up this meeting. Heaven had you in mind. You don't need to bring them out, just leave them there. Don't bring them out. Now lift your hands. This is the last mighty wave. Don't bring them out, just leave them them there on the ground. Now I will need you to be an usher. Don't wait for an usher. When the power of God is picking someone, just help the person down gradually. Father, in the name of Jesus, you said you are releasing ancient mantles tonight, and right now let those mantles find hungry hearts, burning hearts, burning desire, kobosaya, and let those Mantles begin to drop right now. Look at that, there's a wave like a wind just blew through, just through the auditorium, just blew through. Oshas, help, help, help, help! Mantles are dropping on people, mantles that their fathers were supposed to walk in but didn't walk in. The Lord is putting upon you, it is doubling. Help that sister, it has doubled upon you. Some of you, it has quadrupled upon you.
Mantles.
Paul was telling Timothy, that which was in your grandmother, which I know is also in your mother, I perceive is also in you. Inheritance in lineages. Help, help her, help her, help her, help her.
Fire!
Help her, help, help, help, help, help, help. Oh, it's burning, oh, it's burning, it's burning, it's burning, it's burning, it's burning. for me. Look at ushers, help! The power of God is moving there, back there. Touch in the name of Jesus the Christ. Hallelujah, hallelujah! There's a major wave. Listen, this one is for those that work in miracles, signs, and wonders in the streets of Kano, opening blind eyes, unstopping deaf ears. A strong miracle mantle. There are people here, God will pick you into the villages with crazy miracles, just as he has helped me to see all kinds of miracles. Lift your hands if you are hungry for it. Listen, this wave, it will be like electricity. You will feel tangible electricity going through your body. Father, in the name of Jesus, such as you have given to me this mantle for miracles, signs, and wonders, let it move through this auditorium. Let it find that boy. Let it find that girl that is hungry. These ones, I want you to bring them out. I need to touch them. Help us. Help, help, help, help! I need you to bring them out. I need to put my hand on them. Amen.
Hallelujah. Malachi chapter number 4. We'll have to run. Verse 5, it says, behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
Next verse.
And this is what he will do: he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Did you see that? Habakkuk chapter number 2, verse 14. Habakkuk 2:14. For the earth shall be what? Filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. I need you to— I wish this thing can— they can help me down. I need you to pay attention to me. God's or heaven's policy statement is that God wants to fill the earth with the knowledge of his glory as the waters covered the sea. And that is because God created heaven and earth, that earth will be a mirror reality of what heaven is like. So God wants to fill the earth with his glory in the same way that heaven is filled with his glory. And what he did at first was to give Adam a template called the Garden of Eden, and the job description of Adam was to cultivate the garden until he filled the whole earth. That was the dominion mandate. That was what it was meant for, that the whole earth will become a mirror image of the realities of heaven. Now please pay attention. Now we now see another policy statement. He says that he will fill the earth with the knowledge of his glory as the waters covered the sea. You have to have a Hebrew mind to understand what he's saying. And in the Hebrew mind, it gives us a picture of somebody standing at the bank of a sea. What we call a beach, the seashore. And what you will notice is that one wave builds up, right, and comes and crashes at the shore. Then another wave builds up. So that means what God was saying is that he will fill the earth by successive waves coming upon themselves. That means one wave wave will come upon another wave. So that means— please pay attention to me— when this wave comes, it reveals a dimension of the glory of God. Then another wave comes to add on what we know and what we have. Then another wave comes and add on what— this is the concept of the former and the latter rain. Follow me carefully so that you get this. And so watch this, watch this. That means in the scheme of things, there were people that started at Wave 1, and there are people at Wave 3, and there are people at Wave 10. Are you following what I'm saying? Watch this. In the design of God— please help me celebrate Pastor Isaac Oyedepo. Welcome, sir. Welcome, sir. Now, so follow me. So in the scheme of things is that those that are in Wave 3, 4, 5 will be quote-unquote better than those that are in Wave 1. Why? Because God had increased. Because what God is doing is that God is building a momentum. Momentum in the earth. Please, are you following what I'm saying? Have you gotten that so far? Come on, have you gotten that so far? Now let me show you a scripture. Exodus chapter 6. I'll be very fast. Exodus chapter 6, give me from verse 3. I need you to see this. And I appeared unto what? Abraham, and unto Isaac, and unto Jacob by the name of— by, by the name God Almighty, or if you will, El Shaddai. But by the name Jehovah was I not known to them. Please follow me. Watch this. Abraham had a unique God experience. He had an encounter with El Shaddai. Please pay attention. Watch this. In Bible days, there were two ways patriarchs trapped down their spiritual encounters to preserve it as inheritance for the next generation. Number one is appellation or name, so that when you receive that, that name encapsulates the essence of the encounter. When you understand and release that name you are re-experiencing it. The second way was through altars. That is why when fathers have an encounter, they will build altars there. Now you see in Genesis 28, Jacob came to the city called Luz and he saw stones. When he saw them, he knew this was an altar, so he took the stones of the place for pillow. This was an altar that Abraham built in Genesis chapter 12. So he took the stones for pillow. Then what we call the ladder of Jacob is not actually the ladder of Jacob, it is the ladder of Abraham. So Jacob entered into an experience that Abraham had with God. So you see, by engaging the altar, Jacob was reliving the Abrahamic experience. So are you with me so far? So God had an encounter with Abraham called El Shaddai, and he trapped it in that name, gave it to Isaac. And you know what was said concerning Isaac? When Jacob came in the stead of Esau, the father said, how is it that you came so quickly? He said, it's because the Lord your God brought it to me. You don't understand what that That means he was not hunting for the animal, the animal was hunting for him. The animals was— the animal was looking for to be killed, and Isaac didn't say, how now, how now? Because they knew that was the way of Isaac. Isaac didn't hustle for wife, he didn't do toasting session, they brought wife to him. Then Jacob also told us there is something called the fear of Isaac, it's called the dread of Isaac. That means God put something on Isaac that men knew to mind their business. So he trapped it, he gave it to Isaac, Isaac gave it to Jacob. So we have a unique God experience called El Shaddai. But when it came to the time of Moses, another wave— do you remember God is filling the earth by successive waves, right? Another wave God was adding so that Moses has El Shaddai, but God is now adding to the curriculum Jehovah, so that the generation of Moses will be better or be an improvement on the generation of Abraham. Please, are you following what I'm saying so far? So that is how God intends to transfer inheritance. Remember what I said last week? There are things we labor for, there are things we are not called to labor for. We have to enter into, but that does not mean we will not labor. We will labor so that we will have something improved upon to hand over to the next generation. We are not handing over exactly what was handed over to us. We will labor to improve upon it so that we can have an inheritance for the next generation. Are you with me so far? Are you sure you are with me? It feels like you're not with me. You guys are slowing me down now. So now what Moses had is El Shaddai, a unique God experience. What he now has again added is what? Jehovah. So that the generations Now this is the issue with many young people in the body of Christ. Now I suppose you know that there are some fathers, if they come here to preach, you probably might not have anything to write. I be wondering, no, no, no, Reverend. Let me say something in a hurry. When you see God bypasses a man that has accurate theology and puts a fearful realm upon a man that seems not to have proper theology, know of a certainty that the first thing God is looking for from a man is not balanced theology. Theology can follow. You didn't hear what I said. I'm very certain you didn't hear what I said. What God is looking for from a man is not first theology. That is why there are many persons you have met, and when you heard them, you say, ah, they want to hear you now. Why are you, why are you here? And you are wondering why some other persons that don't know Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, you are wondering why their voices is— you should know it early. If not, you know what I'm saying? You know, the way I'll be talking, things will be going through your mind when I'm talking. I have to compress because I'm like John the Baptist. Pastor Isaac, raise the voice here. So let me just— now, so please follow me now. Oh, I'll just— let me just compress it right now. Please pay attention. We see something here. The Bible says in that Malachi chapter 4, verse 6, that I will send the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord, and the assignment of the spirit of Elijah is is to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the father. Then he said something strange: Lest I come and I smite the earth with a curse. You need to understand what that means. That means, listen, we will have fathers around that can solve the unique problems we have on ground, but it will look as though we don't have them. That's what he said. Do you hear what I said? But you guys know they are not around because the spirit of Elijah always precedes the move of God. And what the spirit of Elijah does is to reconnect the hearts of the fathers to the children. And watch this, as God is prepping to send for the spirit of Elijah that Satan is working overtime to send forth another spirit. That's the spirit that the Bible said there is a generation that curses her father and does not bless her mother. That's another spirit that goes, that curses her father and does not bless her mother. Recently I saw something that broke my heart into shreds. Somebody was trying to correct a narrative of a father that we have in the body of Christ. And I saw somebody in the comment section call the man by his government name and say, who is he that we cannot correct him? I had to go and check who the person is because this person must be my spiritual father to talk like this. You're not hearing what I'm saying. This person must just know what I'm saying. When I checked, I said, no wonder you are the way you are. Call him back. Even your own— you know, some things are just lack of home training. You can mask home training with spirituality and have a particular posture that makes it look spiritual, but it's the pure lack of home training. Because you see, Pastor Steve said something something. He said impartation does not flow on equilibrium, it flows on a gradient. And what the spirit of Elijah does is to connect the heart of the fathers to the children, and how he does it is the spirit of honor. Satan is working— I told you yesterday as we prayed There is a spirit of offense over the body of Christ, and usually Satan sends the spirit of offense when the body of Christ is about to enter into her promotion, enter into her new season. He sends the spirit of offense. You will start getting offended in key figures in the move of God, in key personalities in the move of God. You start getting offended in them. You don't know you are shortchanging yourself. Say, he's not talking to me. Say, he's not talking to me.
You—
I didn't hear you. Say, it's not me they're talking about. Praise God. Now, so watch this. Are you with me? Did you notice?
Hi.
When Elijah was to exceed the scene, God didn't go to the school of the prophets. Elisha was a farmer. When Elijah met him, he was plowing with 12 yoke of oxen. Now you remember that route that Elijah followed? Do you remember? Can you mention them? Bethel, Jordan, Gilgal. All of those points were schools of the prophets that Elijah has established. This guy was not part of the school. That was the person— they said it, that the spirit of Elijah don't rest on Elisha. I remember when the three kings were in the wilderness and there was no water, and they said, had God brought us here to kill us? Is there no prophet? And they said, there is one, Elisha. How they would describe major prophet Elisha, they say one that pour water. That's the description they gave about Elijah, major prophet. It's a one that poured water in the hands of Elijah. And Bible theologians will tell us that Elijah was a very temperamental man. You don't understand. Oh no, you don't understand that it's not easy to work with him because you can just say, Kini, Kini, are you the only anointed man? And miss being in the lineage. Other theologians even say that Elisha senior Elijah chronologically age-wise. Akinsekpe, but no age mates. But God found a man, Elisha, and foot. Because when God transfers inheritance, it doubles. And what was on Elijah was supposed to come upon Gehazi, and it was supposed to quadruple. But you see, when Elisha said, we're not collecting anything from this man, the guy did as if was going to buy something and cornered the man and said, those Italian suits, you have a conference coming. The Baba said, where were you coming from? So I was in the backyard. He said, did not my spirit go with you when you went? Is it time to collect? So you see, when Elijah cast out the spirit of leprosy. It was still close by. Kote lojino. And this guy inherited a double portion of what was on, on the Assyrian general. But you see, Elisha died with it.
Watch this.
I wanted to open, but let's— let me just call it for you. You know the story. When Elisha— because God, you see, what we have at Elijah is both the deliverance and the preservation of the nation of Israel. My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and the horsemen thereof is God's system of deliverance and preservation. It also came upon Elisha when Elisha was off the sin, Israel became naked and vulnerable to the Moabites, and they were plundering them like no man's business. One day they were going to— you see that concept, a young man? Do you remember what I talked about? A young man, an imagined generation. They were going to bury a young man, and they spy the band of raiders coming, and they threw him into the sepulcher. Of Elisha. And the Bible said he touched the bones of Elisha. You need to understand what that means, because the bones of a man is where we get fossil record from. The bones of a man carries all of his information, and we can get data about the person from his bones. Through fossil record and carbon dating. What does that tell you? That there is a generation that goes back to dig the archives. And let me give you an example. In the Bible days, Israel had adjusted to powerlessness and oppression, but there was one that went back to the archive. His name is Gideon. So when the angel comes and said, the Lord is with you, mighty man of God. He said, if the Lord be with us, where be the— so there has to be a generation that goes back and dig archives and honor those that were not honored, that the mantles that are supposed to drop on our generation that is still hanging in the realm of the spirit can land. There has to be a generation. There are many pioneers that God sent into the body of Christ to bring waves into the body of Christ, they were not received. They were persecuted. They died with what they carry. Some persons have to go back to the archives and dig, because Jacob has to dig again the wells— Isaac rather had to dig again the wells of his father Abraham. I'm not talking about having a powerful sermon. I'm quoting one of Babalola's miracles. I'm talking about going back to honor what was dishonored. This generation must not make that mistake. Can I tell you something? There are men, right? Yoruba will say okorimeta. That means one, one man is like three people. When God will split heats the thing that was on Elijah. It could not rest only on Elisha, Hazael, and Jehu. 72 people, what was on Moses came upon them. You saw the drama, but he still had to put something on Joshua. There are men like that on the earth. Now we can't, we can't, we can't be joking anyhow. I would say yesterday, they are transiting seeing this scene, and we have to see what is at stake and position ourselves because we have to receive what they have. Because God intended that what was their ceiling will become our floor. God know the roof that decking they do. That's what he intends, that their ceiling will be our floor. What is the connecting point It's the spirit of honor, the culture of honor. We are fast losing that culture. We are fast losing that culture. And social media had made people mannerless. Social media— you think because you have 10, 10 gigabytes or free Facebook Let's be guided. Let's be guided. He said, 'Lest I smite the earth with the curse,' meaning we will see these people that can solve the unique problem on ground can be around, but because we don't honor them, to look as though they are not there. There must be a generation that must go back and learn the ancient primitive Native culture of honor. Elisha was now a prophet with his own ministry, but when they're describing, they'll say the man that poured water. And when Elisha hears it, he will not be offended. And listen, when we say that the generation of Elisha will become better than the generation of Elijah, yet when God recognizes, he goes to the source, the roots. It has doubled on Elijah, but when the Bible will talk about the power time of prayer, he didn't go to Elijah. He went to Elijah. Honor went to the source, the root. And that's why we can't throw away foundations. The reason we're born again the way we were born— some people labored, sir. You can't even understand Hebrew and Greek now, right? It's because some people labored. That's why we are where we are. They labored. It's just like a biological father that intends that his child will have a better education than he had. Will that child now be stupid enough to tell his father that, you know, that's not how to speak English? Can we rise on our feet? I'm like a John the Baptist.
I want to—
I have to shrink the message. There has to be a primitive culture of honor. It has to return to the body of Christ. It's not hero worship. It is a biblical prescription that accepts the spirit of honor connects the heart of fathers to sons. They will lay hands, nothing will transfer. And listen to me, can I say something to you? Can I say something to you? Usually Usually, have you— I've met people that I had to pray for that had chronic diseases that were PAs to men I was hoping to meet. Did you hear what I said? And I'm wondering how, how, how I've met them. I had to pray for them, but they are PAs to people I'm hoping that one day I'll meet. My spiritual father, Brigadier General Moyo Aki Ojo, a woman came to him, to, please can you pray for me? I've been married with my husband for years and there is no child. She now mentioned her husband's name. My father-in-law said, that man is your husband, that when he's joking, even Even if a woman is 90 years old, she'll get pregnant. He said, and that man is your husband. Carry a seed and go and sow to him. She went and knelt down. I know you are my husband. And just, she conceived immediately. She was living with a man that even if he's joking, she was living with that kind of a man in the house. So I've met people like that. This is what Jesus said, that that other people will come from a far place to sit with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the sons of the kingdom. We can't afford this honor, it's too expensive, it's too expensive. I have called you to enter into the rest of your labor, but the only way we will enter is Honor, sir. It's honor, because honor is a currency in the realm of the spirit. It opens. You see, I saw one, one guy talking. He said, Abraham said that— sorry, Isaac said that Esau to go and bring him a venison. Listen, Isaac looked at Esau very well and said, see, this guy needs to stretch a bit. If not, if I put hand, if I put hand on your head, it will be empty hand on empty head. So he needed him to stretch. Did you notice what was brought was not from the bush, it was from the house, meaning they had abundance of it, had it in the house. But he needed, because I see Esau was a profane person, he doesn't have value spiritual thing. He needed the guy to at least stretch a bit so that this thing can land. That's why he sent him out. Take one arrow. And the guy was running, uh-uh, was spoiled with meat in his house. Take one arrow, stretch for it, stretch for it. Lift your hand. We will not be a generation that curse their fathers. And does not bless their mothers. We will not be that generation. Lift your voice and pray. I will not be part of that generation. I repent. If perhaps you were influenced by people to be like that, repent now. They are shortchanging you for your inheritance. They are shortchanging you for your inheritance. I'm not hearing voices.
Pray.
This is serious. I didn't come to do healing or miracle. This is why I came. I want to hear you pray. Lift your voice. Lord, we repent from dishonor.
We repent.
Forgive us, Lord, for our lack of understanding. Today we understand. Our generation generation that indeed honor our fathers and bless our mothers. We are that generation. We are that generation. Forgive this generation for that blunder. Help our hearts, oh Lord. Help our hearts.
Come on, lift your voice and pray. Say, Father, thank you. Thank you for light. Thank you for illumination. We give you praise and we give you glory for In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Can we celebrate Apostle Lawal Suleiman for that apostolic word of fire? Can we celebrate him? Come on, do that better and better.
Hallelujah!
Remain standing. And to take us further, Kano State is the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. No other person but Pastor Nathaniel West. Kano State, can you join me as we receive him? Come on, keep clapping as he comes upward. Come on, keep clapping, keep clapping, keep clapping as he comes forward.
If you are clapping for Jesus, please can you increase that? Hallelujah! Standing on the existing protocol, I want to sincerely thank the convener of this meeting, Adieye, a loved apostle. Femi Lazarus for bringing this to us in Kano. On behalf of Kano Youth PFM, precisely want to say a big thank you, sir. I will say to you, you will will not end small, in the precious name of Jesus. Uh, my national leaders in PFN, I must recognize them in this few minutes. Uh, one of them is still a beloved pastor, Apostle, uh, Femi Lazarus, who is a member of National Executive Council of PFN.
Youth.
Thank you very much again. And then we have also our beloved Reverend Edward Olumese, my national leader as well, who is a member of National Executive Council. Our brother Moses, God bless you, sir. Thank you so much for being here. Apostle You're welcome, sir. Thank you, sir. I believe Apostle Suleiman Lawal, thank you so much for being a blessing to us. And of course, I believe Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, you are welcome to Kano again. You're welcome, sir. Very quickly, Very quickly, we are going to raise this matter unto God about yourself and about your lineage. Please give us 1 Samuel 17. Very quickly, I have just few minutes to do this. 1 Samuel 17:36-38. Precisely, we're going to look at a very familiar issue with our dear brother David, and then we raise matter from there. The Bible says, the Bible says in 1 Samuel 17:36, Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, since he had defied the army of the living God.
Please.
Over time, for those of us that are very familiar with this scripture, Bible says this matter has been on for some time, and the entire people at that time were tolerating because they were afraid of this man. And here comes a young man that if you go down a little The Bible says one of the descriptions that Goliath gave to David was that, or is that, am I a dog that you came to me the way you came? And of course, I can only see a boy, little over, over, over a boy, a little over the ball. That is to say that he saw a very young Paul thinking nothing can happen.
Nothing.
I am saying this to tell you tonight, if you are in this meeting, if all you can desire in desperation you can desire, you can fight for. Because David was able to end a long time story, history, in his time. He ended it. As a matter of fact, when he was about going, the Bible says Saul wanted to dress him up so as to look like one who is going for war.
And after dressing up, the Bible says that David walked a little and he said, I am not used to this.
I am not. I am not.
We are going to raise a cry tonight wherever you are and tell the Lord, I know I am young I know I have no history of fighting any war before.
I know I am not intelligent. I know I am not huge.
I know I am not prepared, but I am going to rise as a pattern breaker.
I am going to rise as a pattern breaker from in my lineage. Raise your voice and ask the Lord, after the order of your mercy, oh God, from this meeting, oh God, I am rising, I am rising as a pattern breaker, I am rising as a pattern breaker. So many stories about my lineage, so many things said about my lineage, so many things I got to know about my lineage. But Lord, from this meeting, oh God, I am coming out as a pattern breaker. As a pattern breaker. In Jesus' precious name we have prayed! Secondly, very quickly— The Bible says Saul was to dress him up and David said I am not used to this. We are going to pray for ourselves and ask the Lord outside processes What I do not have, what I did not carry, your mercy will give me victory. Your favor will give me victory in the name of Jesus. Can we raise our voice and ask the Lord? I do not have the garment, I do not have the knowledge, Lord, my preparations is not enough, but Lord, Your mercy will give me victory. Your favor, oh Lord, will bring me victory in the precious name of Jesus. Lastly, we are going to pray and ask God, and ask God tonight Among all the witnesses you will leave after this meeting, make me one of the witnesses. Make me one of the witnesses that when they will hear how many God raised, how many God raised in our time, not shall be mentioned, not shall be mentioned. My lineage shall be mentioned, my lineage shall be mentioned.
Come on, lift your voice and pray and say, tonight is my night, oh Lord. Oh Father, we thank you, we give you praise, and we give you glory. For in Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Now look to someone to your left and to your right and hug ask them, are you ready to go deeper tonight? What's the person saying? Now, before God brings another word to us tonight, God has sent a prophetic minstrel that will usher in that word, and there's no one else than the ministry of Minister Moses Akor. Can we celebrate him as he comes forward?
Come on, keep shouting and shouting and shouting!
Lift your hands above your head to the one who sits on the throne. The King Eternal. Jesus is his name. Let your hands go above your head.
And on to the Lamb. To him who sits on the throne.
And on to the Lamb. That sits on the throne, and unto the Lamb.
Lift your hands. We see it on the throne. Femi Lazarus. Lift your hands to him who sits on the throne. Let the music play. All over this place, lift your hands.
Femi Lazarus.
Be blessed forever and ever. Be blessed and blessed forever. Keep your eyes on Jesus, be blessings and glory. Femi Lazarus.
What are you looking at?
The glory of the Lord is all around you.
The glory of the Lord is all around you.
Yeah.
You have never been here before. What are you looking at?
Don't allow your eyes to be blinded by glory.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
Wherever you are, bow before Jesus. Bow before Jesus. Bow before Jesus. He is standing in front of you. He's standing in front of you. He's standing in front of you. Ever and now. Forever and now. Forever and now.
He is standing in front of you.
Yeah!
Abi danai, Adi ya! Wupen danamu e!
Wude! Forever and ever! Forever and ever! Forever and ever!
You are rising.
You are ascending. Higher and higher. Higher and higher. Angels are singing.
Sing it out.
You are worthy, oh Lord.
You are worthy, oh Lord.
You are worthy, oh Lord. You are worthy, oh Angels are singing. Sing it out! All eyes on Jesus, singing, oh.
Angels are singing, oh.
Angels are chanting, oh.
Angels are chanting.
Yeah, see you. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Sige na. Eh, sige. Sige.
What did you come here for? Angels are singing.
You are worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy, worthy, oh, a singer.
Lift your hands.
You are our God. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
When we all get to heaven one day, I'll be sure and say, it will be a, a, what a day of rejoice. We will be in awe of Jesus.
There will be no words to say.
We would just be loved by him. We would just be captivated by his beauty. Can you see him now? Oh, can you see Jesus now?
He's all around you.
Look and live.
Look and live. Oh, look and live.
All eyes closed. Keep it on Jesus.
Look and Look, Femi, angels are singing all over this room, singing out.
Don't stop, don't stop, don't stop.
Can you escape from this place and just sing to him?
Thank you, Lord. Lift your hands to him tonight and just soak into his presence. We must learn to stay. Don't be in a hurry to move out of his presence. Learn to just soak it in. There's clarity Clarity. When you stay, there's light in his presence. There's illumination, there's understanding. That's where the breath of life is. When you stay under that wings, that's where you get clarity. Learn to dwell, learn to dwell in his presence like a sponge. Soak it Eat in, absorb as much as you can take.
Absorb.
Oh, we bless you, Lord Jesus. Thank you for your glory that we can't explain. We thank you. Oh, blessed be your holy name. In Jesus' mighty name we pray.
Amen.
Now, before I bring up Pastor Isaac, um, while Apostle Lawal was ministering, the Lord told me about a young lady who has been suicidal because you want to get out of something. And this young girl is involved in getting intimate with other girls, and you've been so depressed, much more because of the person that introduced you to it, and you've been crying in your heart that God will help you to be free. I'm not going to call you out. See any of our pastors in any of the time after the meeting and just introduce yourself and we take it up from there. Lift your hands and say, thank you, Lord Jesus. Say it again loud and clear. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for the atmosphere of your glory. Thank you for the election of grace.
Shout, thank you, Jesus!
I, I don't want us to break that flow. Pastor Nat has helped me do a critical work tonight, and that's to introduce everyone. You were doing it by the Spirit, and with so much— don't clap. I don't want to say much. I, I know the kind of person that he is. With so much expectation in your heart, please help me welcome Pastor Isaac You can do it with much more honor now.
Hallelujah.
Let's lift our hands and appreciate the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Glorify his name. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Glory, glory, glory.
Glory to the Lamb.
Glory, glory, glory to the Lamb. For you are glorious.
Just very softly.
And worthy to be praised. Adalei upon the throne. Ong'ong, to you we lift our hands in praise.
You are the Lamb of God. Father, we honor you. We thank you for your presence at the Kano Apostolic Meeting. Since the beginning of this year's meeting, you have been here with us. We give you praise and we give you glory. For the Apostle you've given this mandate to, to come year after year to this city and to this state, we give you praise and we give you glory. Lord, may all eyes see you. We are tired of raising a generation that looks to us, but your word says they look unto you and they were lightened and their faces were not ashamed. Give us an upper room experience where not only there is an announcement but there is a marking.
Amen.
Let it be sweet Holy Spirit that you glorify Jesus and Jesus alone. I vow to give you all the glory as the word opens up to us in plain sight, that our hearts begin to burn within us. We give you praise. And we give you glory. In Jesus' precious name we pray. Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. Please, you may be seated. Kano, would you celebrate the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? Apostle, thank you so very much for this invitation, for bringing us back to Kano the second year in a row. Truly grateful to you and the First Lady of the Light Nation. We appreciate all the ministers as well here, our fathers in the faith, our mothers in the faith, our colleagues in the gospel. We truly thank God for your lives. Apostle, is it okay if I get this podium down because the lights Thank you, Lord. Would you just pray in the spirit where you are seated? Have mercy on our generation. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Acts chapter 2, and we are going to read the scripture, verse 1 to verse 6. Please, you will give me in the King James, would read that, and then Prepare the NLT. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. So many things have been revealed in verse 1. And verse 2 says, and suddenly— and sometimes we have emphasized suddenly. I have done it many times. Suddenly there came a sound from heaven. But there is something about that word sound from heaven, not from the brethren. But there came a sound from heaven. Where is the sound from? As of a mighty rushing wind. It came from heaven, not from among them. No matter how a generation tries to create a sound— it can't match the one from heaven. This sound came from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the house where they were sitting. So today we would just pick out sound. Now verse 3, verse 3: And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as tongues of fire. That's the theme of the conference, cloven tongues of fire. And it sat upon each of them. And so we see our focus of the sound and the cloven tongues of fire. I am seeing things here that were not even prepared, but they are just in plain sight. We are working so hard as a generation to create a sound that is not from heaven. That sound has to come from heaven. And then verse 3 now talks about cloven tongues of fire. There are two things to note here: the sound is the announcement, the fire is the marking. There came a sound from heaven that is to announce the move of the Spirit and to announce men of the Spirit. That sound comes from heaven. We cannot announce the men. We cannot. The best we can do is say we, we have heard the sound, so we announce the sound. But that announcement has to come from heaven. And the cloven tongues like as of fire was what marked this new breed men. Please follow this. The sound announced the move of the Spirit, announced the men of the Spirit, but the cloven tongues of fire— the Lord said what this conference is about to do is not to announce what is happening or what is to happen, but to mark men and women that will be part of what God is already doing in the earth. So the cloven tongues of fire is the marking. There came a sound, the announcement, from heaven as of a mighty rushing wind, and cloven tongues of fire marked and separated this new breed. So Acts chapter 2, verse 1 to 3, our focus in this only session I'm having is the new breed. There is a new breed. Remember, they will not create a sound, they will not manipulate a sound, they will not copy a sound. The sound comes from heaven, and that sound is an announcement, an announcement of the move of the Spirit. That's not our assignment today.. It's an announcement of men of the spirit on the scene. Go study Joel chapter 2, you will see how the announcement takes place. These are not ordinary men. But there is something critically missing in my generation. That is not the shouting of fire, but the marking of fire. And it leaves that person with a mark. So the focus here is the marking of this new breed. That is all my assignment in Kano. I have preached about the sound, we have shouted about the sound, we have tried to create the sound, we have thought the noise is the sound, but that sound comes from heaven. That sound is generated from heaven. I just showed you, there came a sound from heaven. If you go study how John was announced, it was a sound from heaven. You study how Jesus was announced, it was a sound from heaven. What will create the, the prayer of revival we have been, we've been screaming and desiring is a sound from heaven. I will show you tonight that there is something beyond Hunger. That's why I raised that song. God should just have mercy on us. This sound is not our theological eloquence. Apostle Suleiman said that, and, and you will see how the Holy Ghost orchestrated. I had no idea of his message. I met him today for the first time. Them here. We have not met in Kano, but you will see how where he stopped, the place of honor is one of the markings. Okay, so for instance, do you notice that when that sound came and the mark came upon those 120 people, it says as of fire. Look at that. I, I don't want to deal with it. As of fire. As of fire. We have simply said in our generation that the mark is fire. The scripture says as of fire. I believe that one of the challenges we face is we no more get into the scripture. We take what somebody has said and, and, and try to create something around it because we are not learned in the scripture. The Bible teaches about Philip. I was studying that recently. The Bible said, or well, insinuated, let me say, that Philip was great in the scripture. Do you know the New Testament believer that came out of that day of Pentecost, any scripture you give them, they will preach Christ? They were heavy in the scripture, not in the complexity of the scripture, but in the simplicity of the same. They understood it. It's important for me to state here because there is such a drive and a desire for the gifts of the Spirit, and I believe in it, I desire it. By the grace of God, I've operated in it. But the gifts of the who? Let me hear you. The gifts of who? Is also the one who has the fruits of the Spirit. A generation has pursued the gifts and neglected the fruits. In the day of Pentecost, they didn't have to say we're Christians when they saw them, not when they heard them pray. When they saw them, they took knowledge of them. There was a way their character was balanced. Thank you for the lights. So this is very important that we understand that this cloven tongues of fire will not sit on a building. It will not sit on a denomination.. It will not sit on a tribe. It will sit on individuals. It sat upon each one of them. That means each one of them was marked. Now I was going to what Apostle said, Apostle Suleiman. You would discover in the scripture that when that day of Pentecost came, there was no struggle to Google with who was to speak. But in my generation, 120 people will tell you they have 120 different mantles. Everybody gave room and one man stood up, and Peter began to preach, and 3,000 people were saved. Now jump to Acts chapter 3, you will now discover again the same— who was he? Peter and John. Silver and gold we have not, or I have not. Such as I have, Acts 3:1-3, I give to you. Peter was still the one speaking. John, right? Peter and who? John. John didn't have to struggle. Those who are marked will know what they are marked for. The cloven tongues of fire denotes the marking of the Spirit. And so I began to consider what, what, what, what were these 120 people marked for? In other words, fire will not come and rest rest on what is not flammable. What made 120 people of diverse levels of spiritual authority all carry the mark of the Spirit? Not one was left. Peter stood there as the authority, but there were women also. They were men whose names we have no idea of, and the scripture says each one of them carried the fire. Now remember where we began. The sound announces the move of the Spirit and the men of the Spirit. But that's not enough. Our generation has been announcing, God will do great things through us, where the world has never seen it before. That is true, but upon whom will the fire rest? Upon whom will the Spirit mark? The question is, are we flammable to desire the cloven tongues like as of fire? I said I will read the NLT. I don't know if we still go there. On the day of Pentecost, verse 1, all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared on them and settled on each of them. And everyone present, verse 4 says, was filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak, began speaking in other languages as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. If we get this foundation right, I think it will help us a great deal. The sound is not from the earth. The sound comes from heaven. Have we missed the sound and the announcement? Probably not. But why have we been sounding the sound, yet what is like as of cloven tongues of fire not yet rest on us? Because we must be flammable. There are things that fire almost has no effect on. Now this fire is not our screaming of fire. No, it is a marking. In the book of Galatians, Paul the Apostle says, let no man trouble me, for I bear in my body the mark of Christ. So that, that's Galatians, what, 1, maybe verse 16. You can check that from Galatians 16. So this, this Pentecostal believers that were birthed on the day of Pentecost were conscious of a marking. It is that marking that is the cloven tongues as of fire. If we don't know what it is, we'll be pursuing the wrong thing. Let no man trouble me, for I bear in my body is the mark of Christ. So let's quickly consider, for the time that we have, a few things. Because like I said earlier on, the cloven tongues of fire will not just answer to hunger and desire. I have thought that's what it answers to, but it won't just answer to hunger and desire. Is hunger and desire important? Very important. But it will not just answer to hunger and desire. It will require that vessels desire these cloven tongues or these markings. It will require that we become vessels that are flammable. Beyond our desire, there is a sacrifice. So the first thing you would observe about this new breed from Acts chapter 2 that was birthed is that they were vessels unto honor. In 2 Timothy chapter 2, verse 19 to 21— 2 Timothy chapter 2, please. All right, so that's Galatians 6:17. Now, 2 Timothy chapter 2, verse 19: Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Oh my God, depart from iniquity. You will already discover that this is missing link in our generation. We have men and women parading the pulpit in iniquity, yet manifesting gifts. Let them depart from iniquity, for in a great house there are not only vessels unto gold, unto silver, but also of wood and earth. And some to honor. Look at that, some vessels to honor and others to dishonor. If any man purge himself from these, we shall be vessels unto honor, fit for the master's use and prepared to every good work. Vessels that honor God and honor God in man, vessels unto honor. You cannot be marked as a new breed in dishonor. Honor to God and honor to men that carry God. And so when Apostle was preaching, I was moved to repentance. Now I'm not saying repentance for my generation. It starts— everything we are hearing starts with us. So instead of looking and saying, oh, I repent on behalf of my generation, I repent on behalf of myself. Vessels unto honor. William J. Seymour, the one whom God used in the Azusa Street Revival— I was watching a documentary a few hours ago and I heard him Femi Lazarus, he cried for one thing. He said, Lord, keep the fire pure. So it is possible for the fire to become impure, corrupted. Keep the fire pure. Do you know that that revival, in quote, they say it took place for 3 years, but it's beyond that. From the documentary I watched, I saw that after 3 3 years, everything went quiet. Now they thought— they were asking William Seymour, this is time for you to structure this thing. When there is a marking, you have to be very cautious with structuring. They said, structure this thing. This is already a thriving church, structure it. Some other people said, go for fame, you are the man God is using in the now. And as man would always be, after some time people began to depart from him. But I saw that William Seymour never stopped praying, never stopped crying to God. And letters will come from Africa, from Europe, all across the world saying, oh, thank God what happened in Azusa Street has been transported to our place. And the Lord said to me, it's not that it was was transported. Someone was still praying even when physical people were not sitting on benches. And so the fire began to spread and spread, and it got into Kano from someone sitting somewhere on his knees. William Seymour died on his knees. He went to the place of prayer on the box where he would keep praying as a vessel unto honor, and After greeting his wife, good morning, and went to the place of prayer, they went to go and check on him and discovered that he died in prayer. What he lived doing was how he departed. Vessels unto honor. We need to be careful with gymnastics. That's not the marking. The marking begins with you, not in a meeting. It begins with you. A mark that comes upon you, not upon a group. It may happen in the midst of a group, but it's looking for people. Fire doesn't sit on buildings. This marking rests on individuals. While we are chasing mantles, let's begin to chase marking. Let's chase the marking, the same marking patriarchs of faith had as vessels unto honor. Let's chase that marking. That's where it begins. Number 2 is they gave themselves to the ministries of prayer and the word. I know you know this. Acts chapter 6, verse 4, he says, we will give ourselves holy to prayer and to the ministry of the word. Those who will be marked have one specialty or two: prayer and the word. Prayer that goes beyond what we're doing in the public, prayer that is situated in the secret. We need to call our generation back to the word. We need to get back to pure Bible studies where we take 1 Timothy and dissect it. Anybody who is bored with the word wasn't meant to be there. We need to get back to the foundation—
prayer and the word, prayer and the word.
Prayer and the word. That is how disciples are marked. In Acts chapter 1, verse 14, you know the scripture. These continued in prayer. Before the marking, there is a process. The product is the marking. The process includes prayer and the word. Did our hearts not burn within us when he spake? Unto us. We need to get back again burning the midnight candles in prayer, prayer of intimacy. And the word— for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life. I just told you in Acts chapter 8, The Bible talks about Philip and how he met this, this Ethiopian eunuch. And this Ethiopian eunuch was reading from Isaiah. And the Bible says about Philip that he asked, do you understand what you are reading? He said, how will I, except one shows to me? And then the Bible says, from that same scripture he taught Christ. They were deep in the word. I speak to my generation here. We have become too shallow. We've become too shallow in the word. We can quote what our man of God says, but there are no true personal encounters in the word.
We can—
our generation has become so itchy, the ears are so itchy. If it doesn't sound deep, like Apostle Suleiman was saying then, is nothing. What are they saying? The word.
The word.
Nothing else will mark us except prayer and the word. Why didn't the fire come upon them before they spent that time in prayer? Look at how someone who has eaten the word spoke like Peter did. Which notes did he carry? Which Torah was he holding in his hand? But this man and the 120 were soaked in the word. Do you think all they did was prayer? No, I believe they worshiped. I believe they read scripture. The cloven tongues of fire, all I'm saying is a marking. That marking begins with a decision that my vessel will be one unto honor, and then must graduate to a decision to take hold of the two most important ministries: the ministry of prayer and the ministry of the word.
Lord, prepare me a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true. Oh, with thanksgiving, I'll be a living sanctuary for you. Lord, prepare Isaac a sanctuary pure and holy. Tried and true, ooh, with thanksgiving, I'll be a living sanctuary for you.
Sing it again.
Oh Lord, prepare me a sanctuary.
This is what cloven tongues of fire requires.
Pure and holy, tried and true, with thanks I'll be a living sanctuary with thanksgiving. I'll be a living Sanctuary. For, oh, with thanksgiving, I'll be a living sanctuary.
For you, oh, with thanksgiving, I'll be alive. Can you sing it 3 more times? Let him fix us.
Sarana.
Fix me, oh God. Sing it one more time or two more times, everybody. Fix me, fix me, fix me, fix me. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Sing it again. Sing it again, again and again. Fix me, Lord.
Femi Lazarus.
I'm saying to you that this cloven tongues of fire is not what we say, receive the fire. These are the things that will make us flammable. The marking has come many times but could not mark because God will first check the vessel, not the gift. I believe that one of the reasons God asked Apostle to hold this meeting and call it Cloven Tongues of Fire— one of the reasons, not all— is what you are hearing. A generation has become markless. Deep but markless. Gifted but markless. Authoritative in speaking but markless. Eloquent in Greek and Hebrew, but markless. Let no man trouble me, me, me, not us, me, for I bear in my body the mark of Christ that begins with Lord, prepare me I may not be popular, but prepare me. Don't prepare me to be known, prepare me to be marked. Because not all of us will stand on the altar because we are marked. I'll give you an example. Daniel was marked but never preached.
Pure and holy, tried and true, with thanksgiving I'll be a living sanctuary.
Femi Lazarus.
Wait, this is one thing our fathers have that we don't have, and we're wondering why. This is why. If you hear us preach, we are deep. Where is the mark? There is almost none of our fathers or patriarchs that didn't emphasize holiness. This is it. You don't need to increase your volume to be marked. It's your vessel. Your vessel is the volume. Be yourself. Don't try to be anybody else. They don't copy marking. Marking is bespoke. Markings are not transferable. Markings are individualized. Please be seated. So the ministries of prayer and the word are very essential in our marking. If you don't have one, go get a physical Bible and sit with it. Even us preachers to be careful when the generation is knowledgeable. There are things we will not say. Excuse me, this is what the scripture says. If everyone is given to the ministry of prayer and the word, deception will reduce. And let me also say, if we are given to prayer and the ministry of the word, we won't have energy for criticism because so much energy has gone to prayer and the word. Number 3, this marking will only come on the people who are unified. Unity. In Acts 1:14, it says, this all continued in one accord. One of the challenges of our generation now today is we are not unified. We just pretend to be. I am in that space, so I can tell you. The infighting cannot be caught by camera, but it is deep. We hug in the open but crucify in the secret. Yes, the marking is on individuals, but there is an environment that is required. The fire came upon each one of them in Acts 2:1-3. But in Acts 1:14, preceding Acts chapter 2, they were all in one accord. As long as the early church remained in one accord, the mark remained unity. Psalm 133, verse 1 to 3: How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. Verse 2 says, it is like the precious ointment upon the head that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard, that went down to his skirts of his garments. Verse 3, for there— oh, sorry— and as the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion, for there, for there. So there's an environment that is needed. For there the Lord commanded understood the blessing. This blessing is not money. You know, when they— I love the history of the church. When they sing, there shall be showers of blessing, this is the promise of God, there shall be seasons refreshing. Sent from the Savior above.
Oh, showers of blessing, showers of blessing we need. Mercy drops round us are falling.
Do you know the showers there is not talking of prosperity? When I was a pastor, when we want to have a service of prosperity and blessing, this is the hymn we sing. If you study church history, what they called blessing was revival. The generation has switched it. To them, blessing was not money. That God will remember a people and turn messy drops to showers. That's blessing. So when they prayed, oh Lord, send us blessing, what they were asking for is for the move of the Spirit, for revival to come. That's what they call blessing. But the average one in my generation doesn't know that that's the meaning of the hymn. So this is very important that unity is restored. But let me say this, before we try to do it on a global stage or in the larger body, it begins from your family. You didn't hear that? I've not preached it like that. We say, oh no, there needs to be unity in the church. Is there unity at home? Oh yes, there's unity at home. We don't fight. Do you pray together? Because we have raised up a generation that never saw dad and mom pray together. They saw them minister the gospel with power and saw miracles take place, but they never heard dad and mom's— daddy and mommy's voice praying together, standing in agreement. One of the things that never left William Seymour was the prayer he heard his mother praying in the middle of the night. And he said, Lord, I want to know the God my mother knows. Unity begins from there, then it moves out to the larger family, then it moves out to the small group that meets. If you have cells, it moves there. This thing doesn't start in the larger body.
Unity.
And then the one who is saying there needs to be unity in the body of Christ, in the local place he's pastoring, there's disunity. What are we saying? The unity was so strong in the upper room. I said nobody argued. They remembered that there was such an authority Jesus had given to Peter. And they were satisfied with it. No wonder last year into this year, God told me, said everywhere you go that they invite you, tell them to be comfortable in not being known. Your, your name doesn't have to appear on a billboard to be chosen. But we are in a generation where we are competing Instead of complimenting, we compete instead of compliment. There is what one has that the other can never have, no matter the prayer they pray. And there is what you are wishing to have in somebody else that they need from you. Every joint supplying their own part. Who will have taken the place of Stephen? Stephen was an administrator, yet full of wisdom and power. Unity. Today we are told that the body of Christ, the church, has over 4,000 denominations. 4,000. 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000. The moment we disagree on one thing, we create something else. For how can a body with 4,000 parts refusing to agree achieve? Our body, physical body, may have up to 4,000 parts. I'm not a medical doctor, but the moment one one part of the body begins to fight another part of the body, then calamity has landed. How many, huh, parts of the body, physical body?
I don't know.
But now, 4,000, 4,000 denominations. Some you can't find on Google, but they are there.
Unity.
The challenge here is not to bother so much first about the public unity, but the internal one. One of the greatest prayers I heard on my wedding day, I will never forget, and it took me almost 12 years to remember that prayer. The day it dawned on me, something switched. Mommy Jill prayed for me on that day, and she said, anytime you and your wife kneel to pray, may God answer. She didn't say when you kneel yourself. Anytime the two of you shall agree as touching anything, as a matriarch, I decree the answer in agreement. It took me a while to remember that there was a covenant I entered into that day, that as long as we come to a place of agreement, heaven will answer. So it begins from the home. Prayer altars must be birthed again in the home. The anointing is not a substitute for unity. Number 4, let's go, is that for them to have been marked, they had to have been discipled. Do you notice that when Jesus ascended, over 500 people saw him ascend? But only 120 went to the upper room because the cloven tongues of fire will not mark a multitude. They will only mark a disciple. And you check believers 40 years and below, hardly will you find any that has been properly are hardly discipled. There are very few, very few. Yes, born in church. Yes, got saved at the age of 8. Yes, served in the choir. Yes, all of those things great, but who sat them down to disciple them? Was there a process? I'm not talking of a formal process where you go to a class and you take notebooks. We are talking about an informal, consistent process of discipleship. Somehow those who were not discipled were not made for the upper room. How did you see Jesus ascend and he said, go, tarry until you heard all these things and you saw the manifestation? But the upper room, the upper, upper room is not meant for multitude. But meant for disciples. That's why no matter the miracle a man may see in church, they may get amused and excited and leave, but a disciple stays. Miracles didn't bring them, sacrifice brought them, sacrifice keeps them. They waited there, continued in one accord. Wherever you spot this unity, maybe we should ask, where is discipleship? That's why people can arise in a generation and begin to castigate anyone they find, any father they find, and say you should know better. Why? They were not discipled. That home training Apostle was talking about is, is that That's what happens, it's discipleship. The day this thing caught me was when I watched the movie Enoch and I was moved. I said, look at how Pa Akindeyomi discipled Daddy Geo. That's the only thing I learned from that movie. See, pure disciple. Who even taught us how to pray? Most of us saw that people pray and just copy them. Because they screamed, we scream. Because they did this, we did. Nobody sat us down and said, this is how to pray. Who discipled us on how to hear God's voice? I was moved the day I heard my father, Bishop Oyedepo, one day talk about how when he got saved, he read the four gospels. I began to wonder, have we even taught people who are saved that this is how— the moment you answer the altar call, this is the next thing to do? I heard that the number one book a new believer must read is the book of John. So we have answered altar calls and the altar never answered us. No discipleship. We try to do certain things to become like certain people and to become popular and to generate a sound that is not there. Discipleship is missing. And I am saying this to say that this is not a thing of a public class. You know, when he called the disciples disciples, he called them to raise other disciples. Matthew 28:18-20. Matthew 28:18-20 in the New King James. Please place it on the screen. New King James, please. Is it 18? Give me verse 19, please.
Yes.
Let's read together. One to go, one to go. Hold on. Who was he speaking to? So what disciples are to do is to make other disciples. If we rush the process, we will gather multitudes but lack disciples. It will be like a mixture of sheep and goats. Discipleship is a slow process, and the church of my generation is too fast-paced. If other disciples know they have a mandate to raise other disciples, they will take time. Imagine if a proper disciple disciples another person properly for one year. The church may not explode the way you want to, but it will be solid. Discipleship. They were disciples, that's why they could be marked. Number 5, they were sold-out witnesses. I'm telling you what led to Acts chapter 2, verse 1 to 3. You, you, you— after discipleship, you must be sold out as a witness. That's what we read in Matthew 28:18-20. They had to be witnesses and they had to raise other disciples. In Acts chapter 1, verse 8, but you will receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be what?
Witness—
witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and unto the ends of the earth.
Witnesses.
A witness is one who has proof of the things they confess and profess.
Proofs.
No wonder the apostles will say, we cannot but speak of the things which we have heard and which we have seen. Bible scholars tell us— I forget where I read this— that all of the converts of of Paul the Apostle, 70% of them never denied Christ till they died.
70.
The day I heard it, I began to ask myself, all the people I've preached to, how many of them have remained? This man was a witness. Remember, that came in his mandate. No wonder he could raise disciples. We are all called to be witnesses. We are called to raise disciples. The cloven tongues of fire is looking for witnesses. We will not be marked to sit down, we will be marked to move. Number 6, and I'll end in number 7 because of our time. These 120 that had the cloven tongues of fire come upon them were sensitive to their kairos moment. Because to everything there is a season, there is a time to every purpose under the heaven. Everyone that is sensitive knows that season has changed. I'm telling you, in the spirit, if you are sensitive, you will know that there is something about the season that we have just stepped into. I strongly sense that there's a portal open. I believe it. It's not— I came with that understanding that there is a— there is a season that is upon us. They were so sensitive that none of them missed the fire. None of them missed the marking. Young and old, male and female, old and young, each one of them had cloven tongues as of fire rest upon them. How did they all know when the sound came? This is why I believe this is a call for a generation to become hypersensitive. Some years ago, I said, "Karius moments are not camera moments." One of the things the devil is doing now is throwing distractions at us in every way, every shape, every form, so that even in the midst of when the glory is appearing, there are people who are taking pictures. I strongly believe that the body of Christ in my generation is largely We not discerning at all. We have no clue about what is happening. I didn't say what is about to happen, what is already happening. We, we have no clue. We are distracted in every way, shape, and form. We are— people are looking on to us when the King of Glory has appeared. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord.
Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see you. I want to see you. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord. Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see you. I want to see— oh, to see you.
I need you.
Shining, shining in the light of your glory. Pour out your power and love as we sing holy, holy, holy to see you, Femi Lazarus, shining In the light of your glory, pour out your power and love as we sing holy, holy, holy. I want to see you. I want to see you.
Isaac wants to see you.
I want to see you. I want to see you. Isaac God wants to see you. I want to see you. I want to see you.
Rannamane shaya.
I want to see you. I want to see Jehovah, I want to see you.
I want to see you.
Elohim, I want to see you. Shammah, I want to see you. El Shaddai, I want to see you, Elroy.
I want to see you, Nissi.
I want to see you, God of the covenants.
God of the covenants.
Shama.
Jesus, I want to see you. Elohim, I want to see you. Shama, I want to see you. Ye, to see you. Shining, shining in the—
For out, for out your power and love as we sing. Holy, holy, holy Lord.
To see you shine. Shining Holy Holy I want to see you—
Let's take one more then our time be over. Please take your seat. Do you now see that the cloven tongues of fire is really a mark. The reason why he said it sat upon each one of them is you should be able to identify them. And what the Holy Spirit has journeyed us through is the simple basics of what made them flammable. Not everyone that asks for this cloven tongues of fire can carry it. The final thing that is very important, please hear this, is that this 120 embraced the God of the wilderness.
Heh.
This is one thing that we have struggled with as a generation. I'm speaking now to my generation. In Luke's Gospel, chapter 1, verse 80, he said, the child grew, waxed strong in spirit, and remained in the wilderness until the time of his showing. Luke 1:80, please put it. The child grew and waxed strong in spirit and was in the deserts. If you look at the patriarchs of faith, starting from scripture to our fathers, they embraced the God of their journey. This thing is not a sprint, it's a marathon. We are not running like we are running far. The way our generation is running is like it ends tomorrow. The Bible talks about Abraham looking for a city whose maker and builder is God. A journey. One of the most striking things the Lord has spoken to me as an individual the last 2 years is from this scripture. He said, dwell in the wilderness and visit the city. Don't dwell in the city and visit the wilderness. Psalm 91:1, he that dwelleth in the secret place— that, that secret place is a wilderness. It's a place of separation. We can't look up to people distracting us and see him. We need to be able to start creating schedules of retreats alone. Do you know they don't stream retreat? And if you look at it, one of the ways we have given up our strategy is by streaming everything. How can you be planning for battle and you stream? How can you be raising men and you stream? Services are okay, stream. Retreats, don't stream. If you look at our fathers, the older generation, and us, this one thing that is missing— we have learned not to live in the wilderness.
It's the city.
We were born in the city, we live in the city, we do everything in the city. Zero wilderness experience. Even Jesus will go alone, and the Bible will say when he was set set, he came down and ministered to them. We are not yet set, yet we are ministering. Wilderness. Wilderness, that, that place of separation, that place of koinonia, that place of intimacy has to be restored if the mark will come. I'm saying that the cloven tongues of fire we see in Acts chapter 2, verse 1 to 3, is not us saying receive fire. It's a marking. It's a marking. It's a marking. Nobody told them receive the fire when the fire came, and it sat upon each one of them. That means each one of them carried a distinctive mark.
It is raining all around me. I can feel it. Is a lot of rain.
Ride on, Jesus.
Give us more rain until we are wet, until we are soaked in the latter rain. It is—
I don't know where that came from.
All around us is a lottery. Ride on, Jesus.
Last scripture, 2 Corinthians 3:18. 2 Corinthians 3, please, if you have it. But we all with open face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image. There is a place you must stand to behold. There are things you cannot be shown in public. Where you and I are standing, can we see After Lot was separated from Abraham, then God told Abraham, open now your eyes and look northward, southward, eastward, westward, as far as your eyes can see. The Bible talks about the disciples who were walking with Jesus. They didn't recognize him. Their hearts were holding, and after he broke bread and disappeared from their side, they said, didn't our hearts burn within us when he spoke unto us. He spake unto us. I'm saying that we must raise up a people that understand that intimacy is greater than activity. Stand on your feet. That's the conclusion. We must raise a people— for us to be marked, we must come to the place where we recognize and understand that intimacy is greater than activity. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the revelation of your word. We give you all the glory and praise for these cloven tongues of fire that marks and separates and sits upon individuals. You've revealed to us the pattern and the way to become flammable, to carry these cloven tongues of fire. Lord, may these words continue to burn in our hearts, that Jesus alone may be glorified. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
Until we are wet, until we are soaked.
All right, the state of our vessel determines the mark. And I'm saying, until you even become a vessel, you cannot talk about being a vessel unto honor or dishonor. So it begins with first being a vessel, then we can now look at the the state of the vessel. And so if you are here tonight, and I know you are outside and inside, Apostle has given us the opportunity to have this done. If you do not know Jesus— I didn't say if you've not been to church, I didn't say if you— I said if you do not know Jesus. There is a knowing. We live in dangerous times where no one should guess. If you know him, you know you know him. If you don't know him, you know you don't. I want to call for people who do not know him, the first group, and then others who have a faulty state of their vessels. So one is not a vessel at all, the other is a vessel not unto honor. That means sin has now become a part of you. You have compromised. Let me put it that way. You have compromised one way or the other. No matter the reason why you compromise, you have compromised. And you are saying, I want to return back. I know what it means to be a vessel. I want to return back to become a vessel unto honor, or I want to become a vessel. I want to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior over my life. This is the most important thing that can happen in Kano Apostolic Meeting. And so I want to ask, if you fall into any of these two categories, please join me up here at the front where we are. These are not days and times where we should be shy for any reason. He says, if you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you on that day. So you want to join us in front, quickly come, let's pray with you. And then we'll be able to round up in this service. Amen. All right, please make your way. I want to pray for you right now in front, and then we'll be wrapping up.
I surrender all.
To you.
Oh, everything I give to you, withholding nothing, withholding nothing. I surrender, I surrender all to you. Everything, everything I give to you. Oh, with all With all in nothing, with all in nothing, I give myself away.
Please come quickly, let's pray.
Oh, I give myself away.
All right, for all of us in front, put your hand on your chest, and I want us to pray this prayer and do it in faith. Say after me: Lord Jesus, I come to you tonight asking that you forgive me my sins. Sins, wash me in your precious blood. Jesus, I believe you died and you were raised up for me. I believe that you are the soon coming King. Today I believe in my heart and I declare with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and my Savior. Thank you, Jesus. I'm now born again. In Jesus' name, amen. Let me pray over you. Heavenly Father, thank you for my brothers and sisters who have responded to this call. I thank you because grace has found them tonight, and that grace will keep them serving you. Lord, mark these ones with cloven tongues as of fire. We give you thanks and we give you praise. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen and amen. God bless you. I'm, I'm happy and I'm glad that you've made this decision tonight. Let's celebrate the Lord, please.
Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus.
Amen.
Hey guys, you know, just you being here, you, you are the reason why this meeting is put together, and there's so much joy in heaven right now. Can we rejoice as heaven is rejoicing? Thank you. You see, to my left, which is your right, there's one of our sisters waiting. I beg you, I just need your number, your name, to be able to reach out to you and pray for you also and disciple you. So just please follow her so we can get your details, if you won't mind. We won't disturb you, we'll follow you up nicely. But let's give them a big hand as they go. To your right. Thank you. Keep clapping, church. Wow, those hands will not wither. Don't stop clapping.
Wow.
Amen. What we have heard tonight, all the sessions, that's God sent. Thank you, Apostle Lava. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Pastor Isaac, always taking us back to the root, always.. And it tells you the reason why that intensity is strong. And to Minister Moses Akoh, thank you. Um, please, may we please sit for a minute, please? Um, last year we were able to recognize them more. Um, but I also still want us to especially greet them on my behalf. I have two of my school teachers who are here. Still call them by the name I called them then, Uncle Femi and Auntie Ngozi, please. I love them so dearly. Amen. Thank you, sir. Thank you, ma.
Oh wow.
Okay, tomorrow morning I'm having my own first session in this conference. I didn't want to hold the mic and preach, so I just wanted to, you know, keep bringing up God vessels here. And we're also going to have other ministers joining me, and, um, Apostle Mike Oroko joins us tomorrow. There's something we are going to do. So last year, God gave us that instruction towards this year, and every time we have Kano Apostolic Meeting, we are going to be wrapping up, apart from the impartation with honor night. Kano, are you excited about honor? So tomorrow we're going to be having a very special honor night for two patriarchs in the land. Um, I know they don't— they will not display their So it's going to be a very special night for something to be released over the city.
Amen.
So, um, and that is our Daddy, Daddy Olumese, and our Daddy also, Bishop Raph.
Oluwo.
So we keep doing that every year that we have this meeting. Then words. And let me say this to you: any land that they don't honor their patriarchs, they don't rise. Kano, do you understand what did I say? Any land, they don't rise. So I'm showing you one of the major secrets that will shoot men out as arrows. Are you ready for tomorrow? Amen. Praise God.
So we—
first session starts by 8 AM in the morning, then we close around 11, and then second session starts by 4 PM, because tomorrow is the last day.
Amen.
Till 2026 again.
So, amen.
My brother Pastor Edwards Olumese came with his dear wife. Please let me honor them. Wow, thank you. I told you we have so much to do together.
Amen.
And, um, think we've— okay, let me again celebrate Pastor Emeka Umahopai, the lion himself. Oh, they call him the John Cena of Uyó. And of course, our PFN Youth President. Thank you, thank you, Pastor. I honor you, sir. And to all pastors in the house, please, may I request that they stand? Help us. If you're a pastor of a ministry, please, please, just for a minute, even if you are inside so we can prepare a better seat for you. Wow, thank you, sir. Thank you, thank you. Let's give them a big, big celebration. We love you, we love you. Thank you. Please sit for a moment. He doesn't like to be in the spot, but I'm going to do do it for the first time. My cousin is here with his beautiful wife.
Just wave, please.
Let me celebrate them. All right, amen. As we allow the pastors exit— yeah, now please let's celebrate them as they go. Let's receive, to bring us to close, the resident pastor Light Nation, Kano. Thank you, thank you for celebrating.
Come on, can we lift up our voice tonight and say thank you, Jesus? Come on, give God praise from the depth of your heart. What a night! What an amazing time in God's presence. Bless the Lord, give him praise. Thank him for the ministers that have blessed us tonight. Thank him for the word that we have received. Thank him for the impartations. Thank him for the healings. Thank him for the testimonies we have received. Come on, bless the Lord, give him praise, give him glory and honor. We bless you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. All right, just like our father in the Lord has rightly announced, tomorrow's service morning session begins by 8 AM and evening session by 4 PM. And also to reiterate to us, Apostle's books are available all right, for you to get your copies. You want to make sure that you do that, and the Lord will help us as we do so in the name of Jesus. To also extend an invite to us, we want to specially invite you to join us for prophetic prayer contact with our father in the Lord, Apostle Femi Lazarus, tomorrow by 6 AM. In the morning, and the Lord will help us in the name of Jesus. If you don't mind, before you take your leave, can we say the grace in fellowship after the count of 3? 1, 2, 3. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forever. Amen. Surely God's goodness and mercies are following us all the days of our lives. For we are the house of the Lord forever and ever.
Amen.
See you tomorrow by 8 AM. God bless you.
