Lack is not a proof of righteousness

A speaker argues that poverty is not a mark of spiritual virtue and critiques what he sees as cultural influences undermining traditional values in schools and media. He calls for boldness over safety and prays to be made wild enough to effect change.
Chapters
Sometimes I wonder in amazement seeing Christians who are proud of lack and use it as a proof that we are doing the righteous things. The belief system you have is not solving problem, but you are still embracing it. Everyone that comes around you because they have lack, they go back unfortunate, but you want to teach that to the next generation. Stop it. Don't pretend. If you don't have it, you don't have it. Learn it. What does the Bible say? We have to be part of systems. This earth has it given to sons of men, but sons of God needs to make this kingdom that of our God and of his Christ. They can tell you, those of them who are in diaspora, tell you how they've hijacked curriculums teaching children LGBTQ stuff. You know, you always believe that you are traditional, so you can't come here. It's a matter of time. It's on Netflix, it's on entire books. You watch your movies, you've been waiting for the part 2, you see girls kissing. Now it's normal. The actors and actress can identify with it. It doesn't even make news. Or you think Sunday school is the only place God can reach our children till they put something in Cocomelon. Your problem is that you have been wired to go for the least. Schools did it. Religious centers do it. Families did it. Play safe, they tell you. In multitude of counsels, there's safety. That's the code. Not destiny. Safety. You can be safe but not fulfilled. So what will you choose? If there's any prayer on my mind, Lord, make me wild. Make me the kind of person that is audacious enough to effect a change in my own lifetime.
