In this live teaching titled “LIGHT CAMP EXPERIENCE,” Apostle Femi Lazarus, alongside host Speaker A, delivers a prophetic sermon that emphasizes the purpose of biblical prophecy as actionable guidance rather than mere information. He opens with a call to receive “light” that brings truth and direction, then proceeds to read and interpret 2 Timothy 3 (Amplified) and Ephesians 4:14 (Message), framing the church as a school that requires continual pastoral oversight to avoid spiritual loss. Lazarus argues that the “last days” described in Timothy are warnings meant to spur believers into decisive action—enforcing good outcomes and stopping bad ones. He illustrates this principle through biblical narratives, notably the prophecy given to Abraham about 400 years of slavery, the role of Joseph in fulfilling that prophecy, and the vision in Revelation 5 where John weeps because no one is worthy to open the scroll. Lazarus stresses that every negative prophecy has a counter‑prophecy and that believers must develop “spiritual intelligence” to discern the “Joseph” in their generation who carries the manifestation of blessings, thereby preventing negative outcomes. Throughout, he underscores the need for audacity, scars, and divine calling to champion God’s moves, warning that without such commitment, believers remain helpless. Interspersed are promotional breaks encouraging listeners to use the Apostle Femi Lazarus Digital Library app for deeper access to his teachings. The overall message is a call to active, informed, and spiritually empowered engagement with prophetic revelation in the last days.

Hey! Through sound doctrine and the unveiling of Kingdom realities, today we bring you a teaching with Apostle Femi Lazarus. Open your heart and receive the light.
I want us to read this text in Amplified translation. 2 Timothy chapter number 3. We're going to start the reading from verse 1, Amplified. 2 Timothy 3 from verse 1. And I want us to— now, if you have not been listening to me teach, you can't cope. I'm not going to hold back. Okay, so You might have to go start from some of the other things I've taught, so you might have background. We are going to indeed learn that the church is a school. Wait, what that means is there is the implication of missing lectures. There is. Okay. Let me, let me give you a scripture to just buttress what I just said now so you can know that there is implication. Before I read the scripture, Ephesians chapter number 4, Ephesians 4:14, Message translation. Ephesians 4:14, look at this Message. He said, no prolonged infancies amongst us. Please We will not tolerate babes in the woods. Now, small children, one easy mark for what? Impostors. That is, if you listen to what I'm saying, that's why this is not an outreach, isn't it? If you put a meeting for bone breakers among kids, they will fight it because the enemy can infiltrate the circle through them. All right, so there is the implication. And more than ever before, we have now come to the time that if you don't have a pastor, you'll be lost. More than ever before. And even those of you who are pastors of ministries, you, you must be pastored. Do you understand what I'm saying here? You must be pastored. That's how not to get lost. So look at that text now, 2 Timothy 3 from verse 1, Amplified. He said, but understand this, but understand this, that in the last days, dangerous times of great stress and what trouble will come. Now he went on to break it down and said difficult days that will be hard to bear. Now leave that in verse 1. So let's— let me first start by breaking that down in the simplest way for you to understand. When God speaks like that, you know, all scripture is given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, profitable for doctrine, for instruction in righteousness and said that in the last days this and this will happen. The first question you want to ask is, when God speaks about events that are bound to happen, why is he saying it? Why is God talking about the last days and saying that this and that are going to happen? Is he saying it for information, or is he saying it so that you can do something about it? The words that proceed from the mouth of God as words of prophecy, are they for information, or they are for the church? To know that the reason why he's saying this is so that we can do something about it. Let me give you an instance. I don't know if you remember the event in Revelation 5 when John the Beloved had the vision. You heard the story, and he saw a scroll with 7 seals. You see, it has 7 seals, and none was worthy or able to break the seals than to open the scrolls. Now John said he wept because there was a search. None was worthy on earth, not even under the earth, to open the seals. In retrospect, what was he crying about? There's an information that is contained in that scroll, which we are now going to begin to see in Revelation 6 going forward, which is the information of what we call the horse riders of Apocalypse, talking about different dispensations that will visit the face of the earth. John said he wept because nobody was found worthy to open it. Why did he weep? Is it so that the church will have the information, or because it is important that the information is downloaded so that the church can do something about it? Definitely he wasn't weeping because of the information. He was weeping Because without the information, you can't even do anything about it. Now, over the years, and we have seen this in church history, that the positioning of the church around prophecies is always the posture of helplessness. That the Bible already foretold this, so there's actually nothing we can do, so we are helpless, we're just supposed to just let it happen. The one that God gave the word to that his children will be in a strange land for 400 years was Abraham. How many years did God tell him? 400 years. Did it happen?
Huh?
Talk to me now. Did it happen? Oh yes, it did. It happened. 400 years. But did it happen without them going to the string land themselves? No. In fact, Their slavery began with hatred. But how many years did God said— said to Abraham that it will happen? 400 years. How many years did they spend? 430 years. You see, so it got elongated because there was no man to partner with the fulfillment of the prophecy. Good things can wait for right people to arise before it happens. Bad things will also wait for wrong people to arise before it happens, or for right people to be negligent. There is the spiritual intelligence around prophecies that the church must learn So when God speaks and say this and this are going to happen, why is he saying it? It is so that his children can do something about it. If he's saying something good will happen, enforce it. If he say something bad will happen stop it. Now, did you see that in the life of Ezekiel, a prophet brought a clear word to him that you are going to die, put your house in order? What did he do? He did something about it. The reason why God puts you in the know— see, even if you had, you had a dream and you saw yourself in a coffin, it has been revealed to you to do something about it. Or someone comes to tell you that I saw you in the vision and I saw that your life became like this and like that. What do you want to do? You want to sit down and start weeping and say, oh God, it's finished? It's not finished. As long as there is breath in your nostrils, you can do something about prophecies. Hello? So look at this now. John wept. He said, nobody is able to open the scroll and nobody can break the seals. Then the Bible said one of the elders— it didn't refer to the person who spoke as an angel. He referred to him as an elder. In prophetic terms, there is what this means. And, um, you also see the word elder used for the 24 elders, so they are not angels. So if you see one of the elders It means he's talking about one of the elders he's spoken about before. And the elder that he spoke about before was in Revelation 4. So this is one of the 24 elders. Now said to him, weep not. He said, behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah the root of David had prevailed. Now we can measure the spiritual distance between that generation and our generation. You will know that John, if he's around now, he should weep, because the person— the two people having the conversation are spiritual people who understand implications. Why was John crying? God had been showing him things. Now this is a scroll. An event is about to unfold, and it will meet the sons of men unawares. That's why he was crying. You shouldn't catch them without them having the opportunity to do something about it. So he began to weep. But now we have Christians that God even shows things, yet he still catches them. Strange. Can we do something about everything around us. As long as God has revealed it, he has given us the capacity to do something about it. So he started crying. He said, don't cry anymore, then showed him different dispensations of different horse riders. In prophetic literature, an horse rider refers to one who champions a move. That's what it means. One who— so many— have you seen like a battlefield? Even if you've not seen one where they are fighting battles, you've seen some of your Hollywood movies, right? Where people ride on horses to fight. Have you seen that before? Good. But you see that not all the soldiers are given horses. So also in the move of God, not everyone who is in the move will champion a move. Some will be part of a move. Some will champion a move.

It takes scars, injuries, bruises, audacity, and of course a calling to be trusted with the privilege to champion a move. No one does it without a scar. Because to champion the move means that you are bringing a generation into what is not familiar. It is not just the devil that will fight, he will use them to fight. Am I in the right church? Yes, sir. What I'm saying is that if you were here in the days of Jesus you might be among those saying crucify him. It will not make sense to the way you were raised. So you can't, you can't be a part of any move of God if God didn't call you into it. You don't have the capacity to believe. He has to— no one comes unless the Father draws them. And that's why you see that Jesus himself, the two, the disciples didn't come to him. He went to pick them. He has to pick you because What you have seen will be used to fight what you have not seen. What you know will always fight what you don't know yet, but you ought to know. And that's why the best way to be in the move of God is to be in the spirit. If not, you miss God. I'm trying to lay a foundation now. So now look up, let me bring it home. Yes, God had told Abraham, your children, your descendants will be in a strange land, and then they'll be there for 400 years. So for that to happen, Jacob now needed to have children, several children from about 4 different women: Rachel and a maid, Leah and a maid. And then there was one amongst them called Joseph. Joseph was that child that in the life of Jacob was carrying the manifestation of the blessing of Abraham. The manifestation of the blessing of Abraham was not on Jacob, it was on Joseph. So the prophecy of slavery can't be fulfilled unless you send away the one carrying the manifestation. You see that now? So you see, he said, know of a surety that thy seed shall be stranger in the land that is not theirs. And shall what? Serve them. They, they are two different things. And shall serve them, and they shall what? Afflict them. How many years? 400 years. But that will— that couldn't happen as long as the blessing is there. It can't happen. So where will they serve now? Where is the strange land? Egypt. Amen. Amen. How did they get to Egypt, or what made Egypt the relevant place for them to serve? Hope you know. That in this prophecy there was no mention of the strange land. So what that means is anywhere you send the one carrying the blessing to, it will make them great. So great they are now empowered to enslave you, meaning that the blessing only looks like it is in the place, but because of a person and sometimes a people Are you learning something? Yes, sir. So if you like, sell Joseph to the Midianites. If you like, sell him to the Whoever it is you sell him to, what is on him will speak there. He will rise from the bottom to the top. You will hear later that that's the only place that food exists. You will come there and serve. But if you will discern your Joseph, you have stopped the negative prophecy. Because the question is, was it important? Hell no. Our spiritual intelligence is to always treat negative things like they are bound to happen. It's Bible illiteracy. Because they— when there was famine, they heard that there's food, oh, there's food in Egypt. Why was there food in Egypt? Because Joseph spoke. That's why Egypt was enjoying the blessings of Abraham, but the seeds of Abraham were stranded. Are you seeing that? Yes, sir. I can borrow you a wisdom. In your generation, anywhere you find yourself, among friends, this, this, whatever, always discern the one that carries the manifest. If any lineage will be pronounced, it will be because they didn't send away their Joseph. So all that have been seen is to bring you into that understanding that God wants you to do something about what he's saying. Is that quite understood now? Yes, sir. Okay, now we can read 2 Timothy 3:1, with a different perspective now. But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times shall— what? Or dangerous times of great stress and trouble will— what? Come. So how dangerous will it be? It will be as dangerous to the degree that God's children does nothing about it. We can take a pause and check why is it that we always refuse to do anything about those things, even when they are written in plain terms. Um, there was a time that Jesus met a possessed individual who screamed and said, 'I know you.' Then the guy said, 'Have you come to torment us before the time?' We know that there's a time frame where you deal with us, but is this now the time? If demons can work with time and seek ways to function within certain jurisdiction, why are God's children negligent of timing? Why do we do as if— there are different prophecies spoken ahead of the church in the last days, and there is no negative prophecy that doesn't have a counter prophecy.
