LIGHT CONFERENCE 2026 || 25TH JANUARY 2026

Apostle Femi Lazarus and Pastor Miracle Lazarus lead a Light Nation service in Atlanta with worship, prayer for Nigeria and the US, and testimonies of healing and academic breakthroughs. Lazarus preaches on divine mercy from Romans 9 and Matthew 5:7, arguing mercy is God's sovereign favor requiring humility, and calls believers to extend it through evangelism and soul-winning.

As we lift our voice to pray— The enemy survived. As he lifts up his hand against me— He will not prevail because God has said so. And if my enemies have risen again for war, they shall fall down before him when Jesus comes back from heaven.
So let us stand together strong; it doesn't matter what happens around this world or anywhere else but that Christ reigns supreme over all evil at last day. Amen.
Let your faith be steadfast today like David was faithful yesterday.
You can do more than ever thought possible by believing only Him alone.
We believe tonight through His grace.
Yes sir.

he prays.
As we lift our voice, he prays. Oh, as I lift my voice, I lift my voice. Say, who is on the Lord's side? I am on the Lord's side.
I want you to ask your neighbor I am on the Lord's side.
I am on the Lord's side. And as we lift our voice in praise, the enemies will bow. As we lift our voice in praise, the enemies will bow. Oh, as we lift our voice in praise, The enemies will bow as we lift our voice in praise! The enemy shall fall as we lift our voices in praise! The enemy should come down as we lift our voices in praise! No eyes have seen. Who's like you? Who is like you? Oh Lord. Who is like you? Who is like you? Who is like you? Who is like you? Who is like you? Hey, who is like you? Who is like you? No one else can carry. I come on, Femi Lazarus. Who is like you? Who is like you? There's no one who Amongst the gods, amongst the gods, who is like you? You are the Lord, glorious in glory. You are the Everlasting. Hey, you are all right. You are alive. Oh, who is like, who is like all Raise your voice this morning. Oh, we thank God. Oh, we thank you, Jesus. You are glorious in holiness. Oh, you're always doing wonders. You are always doing wonders, Father. Oh, you're always doing wonders. Doing wonders, Father.
In that same mood of worship, let us begin to pray. Pray for God's continuous protection upon our nation Nigeria, upon the nation of Africa. We have many countries in Africa that are experiencing turmoil, one thing or the other. Let us pray for peace. Let us pray for protection upon our country Nigeria because Because the Bible says that the Lord surrounds Jerusalem roundabout. If he does not surround us with his protection, if he does not grant us his peace, we are nothing. We cannot experience peace.
Let us pray.
Let us pray for peace in Nigeria. Pray for peace in Cameroon. Pray for peace in the nation of Africa, in the continent of Africa, in the many nations of Africa. Let us begin to pray for peace and the protection of of the Lord. America is not left out. We live in this country, America, and we know that indeed, if not for God, if not for the mighty hand of God upon this country, that we might be having different stories. Let us also pray for this nation, America. Pray Pray for our state Georgia. Pray for this city of Atlanta where we are, that the revival of the Lord will be known in this town. The revival of the Lord will be known in this town. That the glory of the Lord will overshadow us. That the power of the Holy Spirit will descend upon this, the country of America, upon this state of Georgia. We ask for a revival. We ask for a revival that indeed the that the glory of the Lord will be known here in Atlanta, that the glory of the Lord will be known in the state of Georgia, that many will turn their hearts back to the Lord. Let us pray for Georgia, pray for Georgia, pray for America. Do not be silent because indeed the prayer of intercessors are not a waste. We are not here wasting time. Let us pray for this country, America. Let us pray that the glory of the Lord will be known that the truth and the light of the Lord will be made evident in this country. Let us pray for missionaries. It is not easy. It might be easier to climb the podium or set a ring light and announce and preach about the gospel. But to be a missionary is a whole different ball game. It's a whole different assignment. Peter and Paul, we are preaching around, they were going from place to place, and we, we read about what they went through. Indeed, if missionaries tell you what they go through, you would know it is not an easy feat. Let us pray for the strength of God. Let us even pray for encouragement because sometimes they go to some places and they are not received. Pray for missionaries for courage, for encouragement, that indeed the Lord will reward them. We know he's a rewarder of them that diligently seek him, but that he will go ahead of them, that his spirit will move upon the face of the waters, that they will be received. The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ will be received, that missionaries will be empowered in their work. They will be empowered, they will be encouraged in the name of Jesus. Pray for missionaries. Let us now also pray for pregnant women and expectant mothers, because children are a heritage from the Lord, that he who began a good work in them, he will be faithful to complete it. That as time— at the time of— at the end of time and life, indeed, they will bear their children. They will not toil in pain. They will not carry for 9 months and not have their bundle of joy. They will not miscarry midway, and there shall be none barren in the land. They shall be fruitful, they shall behold their children, and they shall give glory to God. Because indeed, who sees them will laugh with them and say, indeed, the Lord is good. Let us now pray for Light Nation. We pray for Light Nation Global and Light Nation Atlanta, that the mercy of God will overshadow us. The mercy of God will never elude us because we can never pray wrong when we pray for mercy. We pray for mercy, that indeed his mercy will speak for us. When we are right, his mercy will speak for us. When we are wrong, his mercy will speak for us. When we are low, his mercy will speak for us. It is not by our good works, it's not by our righteousness, but by his mercy that he saved us. It is not because we have done too well. It is not because we are too beautiful. It is not because we even know how to serve him right, but because he loves us, because he has shown us his mercy. May the mercy of God never elude us. May his mercy continue to overshadow us. May his mercy continue to dwell with us, in the name of Jesus.
Amen, amen. Praise the Lord. May we all have our seat in the presence of the Lord. It's our testimony time. It's our testimony time. I was expecting some excitement. Praise God. Okay, please, if you do have a testimony in the house this morning, kindly meet with Ola by the door so she can record your name and then we'll call you up. We have some pre-recorded testimonies this morning, majorly from PPC. That's the Prophetic Prayer Contact. So I'll be reading some of them to us this morning. Amen. The first testifier says, good morning, Apostle. Good morning, PPC. I want to thank God for his divine orchestration by bringing me to PPC and Lightning Light Nation. Amen. Indeed, this is the house of mercy and favor. Apostle, I'm already operating in my covenant of favor. It started at Light Nation Ife with Pastor Matthew, the first pastor I met in Light Nation. After listening to PPC for 3 weeks, um, his first message about declaring the blessing, then Light Camp in 2025. Who was present at the Light Camp? Who was there? Glory! I went, and when Apostle asked us to pray and reject smallness, I did earnestly. And ever since joining Light Nation, I always had Apostle speak of mercy, which always and will continually be my prayer points. Then the Lord indeed is a God of mercy. I got my first official remote contract the day 4 of Light Camp. Glory! Brethren, I didn't just get the contract but was paid in full amount in $350. Still waiting till date when we will talk about the job. The most interesting part is the client decided to get me a paid platform for the work, which normally whoever wishes to use the platform either uses the free or pays for a personal, um, or pays for a personal basis. Secondly, Apostle, favor has found me. Amen. On the first day of this year, 2026, a client reached out to me for a contract which we discussed, and she asked for a proposal breakdown which I sent in USD. Brethren, the Lord in his ways showed me favor again. Um, the client went through the proposal and got back to me informing me What I did intentionally was a mistake that the proposal amount is in USD instead of GBP, brethren. I was asked to correct it and resend a proposal of over $2,000 in USD was corrected to GBP. The proposal was accepted in GBP and the first phase was funded. This was me who, towards the end of last year, Couldn't eat 2 square meals, couldn't even land a job of ₦5,000. Indeed, the Lord is wiping my tears as he promised.
Glory!
And he's dealing with me in mercy and favor. Thank you, Apostle Femi and Pastor Miracle Lazarus. Every teaching, every word has always been and will continue and continue to be of impact to me. God bless and continue to uphold you.
Glory!
The second testifier reads, good morning, Light Nation. My name is Adeola and I return all the glory to God, for he is forever faithful and his name alone deserves continual praise. During the grand finale of the 10 Days of Trumpets, Apostle prayed for someone who was lying in a pool of blood and prophetically declared that the blood should dry up immediately. At that very moment, my heart leaped because I had been menstruating nonstop for 3 weeks and 6 days. The bleeding was heavy and alarming. I had gone to the hospital and was already given an appointment for the following week, but my condition had not changed. As Apostle made that declaration, I was lying down and I connected to the prayer by faith. In that instance, The God who answers prayers intervened. To the glory of his name, the prolonged and heavy menstruation stopped that same day. What medical intervention had not yet resolved, God settled instantly by his power.
Glory!
I stand in awe of God's mercy and faithfulness. Truly, he is a great healer. I return all the glory and thanksgiving to him alone. He says nothing missing, Nothing broken.
Glory!
The third testifier here says, good morning, Apostle Femi Lazarus, and good morning, PPC family. I want to thank you for— I want to thank you for God for my second semester examination for my MSC, that I didn't have any carryover because I dreamt so many times that I have carryover, but I fasted and prayed about it. That carryover is not my portion. And when I was told that the results were out, I was very scared, but I still had faith in God that carryover is not my portion. Lo and behold, when I received my results, I cleared all my courses. I was so happy. I mean, who wouldn't be? My second testimony, my husband also passed this professional examination. This is the first time he will write the exam once and passed it ones. God is so good to me and my family.
Glory!
Okay, we do have a testifier in the house, Prisca. Our hands for her, please.
Good morning, family.
Good morning.
So this testimony is regarding my son Jaden. And he was here with us last year in July. So he had a speech delay from the age of 3 till 8, because he doesn't have it anymore. So when he was here last year, Apostle prayed for him, and I told Apostle— Apostle said, "Let me not worry about it, that Jayden is a genius." So he has always been, from the time he started school, he has always been in the special needs class, always going to school with them. But this year, ever since Apostle prayed for him, it has been from glory to glory. He has— there is not a week I've not been called to school to receive a present for him. He's always receiving like the best student of the month. He's always receiving like the— the teachers are always giving him a gift. Gives for the best student in class is not only his academic prowess, it's also in terms of his character. And now he's able to have full conversations. He has been transferred from the special class to now the general streaming, and he's able to send me text messages, full sentence. Like his reading is above average. Even when it comes to reading, he's above average. When it comes to math, he's passing like all the grades and all the barriers. I'm so grateful and like I'm so thankful to God because none of that— I cannot see any of that with him anymore. And I'm so, so grateful for the growth, for the improvement, even his character, even his love for Jesus and his love for God. This has been a total and complete transformation in his life ever since then. And I just give God all the glory.
Let's just stand up and just thank this awesome God for these wonderful testimonies. I'm sure individual of us, we do have testimonies in our hearts. God has been so good, has been so faithful to us. Let's just thank God for divine healing, for open doors, for breakthrough. God has been so good. Let us be intentional about our praises to God. Lord, we thank you. Heavenly Father, we reference you. Thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for your wondrous doings in our lives. Our Lord and our Father, we're just here to say thank you, thank you, and thank you so much, faithful God. Even as we continue to this service, we ask that you continue with us in Jesus' name.
Hallelujah! Please put your hands together for Jesus. If I'm a teacher, so I know what it means for a child to be moved from a special needs class to a general class. It takes a lot. So put your hands together for Jesus. In fact, the song that we're about to sing even talks to it, that God is He can do everything.
He can heal you.
He can deliver you. He can change and do everything that you need Him to be. So this morning, we invite you to just join us as we sing the song.
Hallelujah! Are you ready? Wow, thank you, Lord Jesus. Jesus, we give you all all the praise, Lord. Thank you, thank you, Lord, thank you.
Can you lift your hands? Just thank you. Blessed art thou, Son of David. Blessed art thou, root of Jesse. You can call Blessed, blessed art thou, Son of David. Eba, o eba.
Blessed art thou, roots of Jesse. You, you are heavenly glory. Immaculately beautiful. I can go on and on, on and on, but my words are not enough. My vocabularies will fail me. Thank you, Lord Jesus!
Amen. Please sit for a moment. Good morning, everybody. Wow, that was a powerful ministration. I didn't know I was going to hear that in Atlanta. Powerful. Let's give them a big hand.
Amen.
Please, can we turn our Bibles to Romans chapter number 9? I want us to see something very important. Romans chapter number 9. If you are there, say amen.
All right.
So I start the reading from verse 9, and I want us to listen to understand the context what I'm about to show you. Romans 9, I start reading from verse 9. For this is the word of promise at this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son. This was promised in Genesis 18. Now look at verse 10. And not only this, but when Rebekah also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac— yes, Verse 11, and this— okay, this is where I want us to pay attention. For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might what? Stand, not of works, but of him that what? Call it. Now, this is a very strange one. It means that it doesn't matter how we analyze it, because we try sometimes to do our theology outside of God. There is nothing Esau did wrong that made him become the one that God said, 'So have I hated.' There was nothing, you know, scriptural. They've not done good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth. And I give a backdrop to this. When God was speaking to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1, he had a complaint. And he said, I'm a child. God said, no, don't say that. He said, before they even conceived you, I mapped you out already. Are you seeing that now? And the reason why this is important, because when it has to do with mercy, if it doesn't meet humility on ground, you lose it. Once it has to do with mercy That is the point where you understand that it's not work. Let me ask you a question. What work have you done to be alive? Have you seen people that you feel will be here forever? I'm telling you, what work? Look at— let's continue that Romans 9. I want to show you something. Go back to where I stopped. Romans 9. All right, let's go to verse 12 now. For it was said to her, the what? The elder shall serve the younger. The next verse, as it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. All right, verse 14. Now, what shall we say then?
Is it—
now he's asking that question on our behalf, because if you look at it like this, you look at it and say, then it means I really don't have to do anything. I mean, God might just as well just say prefer somebody else. And he's going to answer the question, say, God forbid, he's not unrighteous. Look at verse 15. For he said to Moses— he began to make reference now— I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have. It means that when it comes to the election of mercy, don't campaign. E. What's the criteria for mercy? Mercy. The reason why, you know, sometimes if some of you really will look critically at your life, maybe you even came from a place where they will not even think that you are the one that will be where you are now. And maybe if we look at the statistics, humanly so, it looks true. But when mercy speaks, if there's anyone who wants to speak against mercy, you won't have breath to speak because you found it. The one who has only obtained mercy can't fight it in another person's life. You can't. So he said, I will have mercy on whom I will have what? Mercy. And I will have what? Compassion. Compassion. Compassion, that is to— not the sense of pity in a way, but to look towards a person favorably, on whom I will show— I will have compassion. Now, why is this an important subject? It doesn't matter what you know, it doesn't matter what you have learnt, it doesn't matter what you have found, it doesn't matter how good you are, if mercy is missing, you are in trouble. If mercy is missing, you are in trouble. Can I show you something? Matthew chapter number 5. Let me just show you this so you can remember this. Don't forget, I told you that the criteria for mercy is what?
Mercy.
Matthew 5. If you are there, say a big amen.
Amen.
All right, let's go to verse 7. Matthew 5:7. Verse 7. Let's read this together. 1, 2, 3, go! Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Again.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Who are the merciful? Those who extend mercy to others. That's the merciful. Um, let's, let's pause. What does it mean to obtain, to extend mercy to others? Let's even break down the, the subject of mercy. Mercy is divine approval. Mercy is divine qualification. Mercy is God's veto power to approve what ought not to be approved. Mercy is God's checkmate where ability fails. That is, this person has failed. Now there is every reason for this person to face this consequence. Mercy is the legal way God says not yet or not this one. So mercy is God's veto power. Is it— it is God vetoing judgment. Mercy shows up predominantly in two places. Number one, where there is inadequacy. Number 2, where there is a need for empowerment. In fact, if you look at the way mercy was described in 2 Corinthians 4 from verse 2, says, 'Since therefore we have this ministry, having obtained mercy, we faint not.' So mercy is that which you have received. It's the reason why you go through what you go through and did not end your own life. Do you understand that? Have you had a dream before? Maybe you had— I know you have had dreams. Maybe you saw Jesus in your dream before. Anybody? Oh, it happens. But let me see, I know you notice that when you wake up from such a dream, you can't remember his face, but you just see a figure. Mean that you can be selectively blocked from certain understanding. There's a reason why when you went to what you have gone through, there are bad decisions you could have made that will finish your life, but it didn't occur to you. The blocker is mercy. If, if you look at Jacob and Esau, Jacob and Esau, people of God, Who among them acted stupid all their lives?
Jacob.
That guy, he was doing strange things. He went to act drama to collect the blessing from the father. If he's an African guy, he will slap him. Guy was very funny, he was absurd. Okay, let's look at this guy who is the major— when you talk about mercy in the Old Testament, that's the guy you talk about, David. If David had been boasting that God made him king because he said he has found a man after his heart, when he took Bathsheba and Uriah refused to go into his own house, he knew now that there's another guy after God's heart better than him. If God choose you, it's not because you are the best. If you, if you are patient long enough, you find people who are better. And let me tell you this, it is good for your heart that you find better people than you, so that pride will not destroy you. It is good. So you look at these guys Look at it. David took Bathsheba, killed Uriah. When they were describing David's life, they said, "These be the words of David, the man anointed by God, the sweet psalmist of Israel." You. And Jesus will come. And they will say, thou son of David, and he will answer. The son of a mother, son of an adulterer, and he answer. That's mercy. Mercy is when God is telling your story, he edits out what you have done wrong. That's mercy. You look at Hebrews 11, that's another book of mercy.
Spoke about—
he said, time will fail me to tell of David, to tell of Barak, to talk of Samson.
Samson.
Do you know if we are the ones who write story to bad news, we write everything about Samson will be how not to be like him. And you forget that this guy didn't have the Holy Ghost residing in him like you have. The Spirit comes upon him and lifts. And even we now with the Holy Ghost, you know what you are capable of. But somehow, when God wants to tell the story of his servant, he preserves the legacy. Mercy. If it is always sweet in your mouth to say things that is bad in people's life, you're not a merciful person. That the moment you see something, ah, have you heard, have you heard, ah, that person, he has done the, ah, your neighbor's wife, you're not kind. Now look at this. If you find people who know how to give it where people didn't measure up, um, one time Let me say it in code. Okay. Social media is a very interesting place. Well, let me tell you this as a criteria. If the devil ever raise people to begin to antagonize you, be looking for a way you fall.
Eh?
Don't fight back. Do two things: pray for yourself for mercy, pray for them for mercy. I can show you the pattern throughout scripture. The fastest way to die is to fight somebody who has found mercy. You will explain, Taya, that I know this person is like— God said, I've given this person mercy. If you look at the book of Hebrews 4:16, let's start from verse 15. Says, for we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, seeing that he was in all points tempted like as we are, and yet what? Without sin. Verse 16 now says, let us now therefore come what? Boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain what?
Mercy.
We obtain what? Mercy. And find grace to help in time of what? Need. That is, you see, listen, you will always enter that phase where what you need is mercy. And if you understand that protocol, mercy would always come through. Mercy will always come through. When we start the year, with what audacity do you know that you finish it? It's because you found mercy. You know the way we just do as if, yeah, yeah, by the grace of God, my next birthday, so yeah, I'm going to do that. How do you know? His mercy. There are those who plan and never see it work. What can you say? You know, I was joking with my wife. We began this arrangement, talk about healthy eating. They'll give you cabbage, Broccoli, carrot, boiled carrot, avocado. There's one thing they call quinoa. One time they served the thing. I was really looking for a way out because I can't continue my life like this. So I now called her and said that I have seen where they shot gym instructor and he died. So one thing will kill a man. Somebody had built all the six packs, one gun took it away. I said, so The ultimate goal is that we make heaven. So I can't continue like this. And it's true, if you feel you are fine because you are fit, you have not looked well enough. I'm just trying to let you understand the only reason you are here is what?
Mercy.
If when you plan your activities for the year, there is no messy budget, you are not kind. You know what messy budget is? That is people who don't have what it takes to measure up. Let me tell you what God taught me about finance. There are people who, maybe because of the disorderliness they met, or the privilege they never have access to, for, for whatever reasons, they may never be able to enter into a real finance. The reason why God blesses us extra is so that we can also reveal him to those kind by helping them. Do you understand that? How will they know that God is real? I share a story with you, and this happened here in America. And when the woman was sharing the story, she was crying. She was going to Walmart to buy some things, groceries. And as she was entering, she saw a man outside, a homeless man. And look at how the freezing rain is this morning. Imagine someone out there homeless. And she planned that when she gets inside, she will get something for him. Then she wanted to get grilled chicken or something like that, among other things, and some other stuff. Then God told her he likes banana. And then she was like, okay, she bought, but she looked like bought the banana. When she gave him what she bought, when he took the banana, he started crying and said, who told you that I love banana? And then T.B. Joshua started crying. There's a God who pays attention to the best meal of an homeless man. That's how detailed this God is, you understand what I'm saying? He is that, he pays attention. And that's the reason why If as a Christian you become unkind towards people, God judges. He's the righteous judge. When Agar got pregnant, Rebecca became bad towards her. What God came to say to Ishmael was the consequence of what Rebecca had done. So if you look at Ishmael today, Ishmael today is the consequence of the wickedness Now, you know, he came and blessed Ishmael too. He blessed him. He even gave him a blessing that he said, you will dwell among your brethren. That is, you'll be united. He said, I will make him a wild donkey. Your hand will be against every man and every man's hand against you. So if you go to, go to Dubai Go to Qatar, you know Ishmael got something. And I will tell you this, when God extends his mercy towards people, it will take different form. But one thing you will know is that what you are seeing here is beyond your sense. Be quick to acknowledge it and give him back the glory. And that's why I said, if mercy comes and doesn't see humility on ground, it will go. What is humility? Acknowledgment of your own limitation and God's surpassing power. Because Jacob can get somewhere tomorrow and say, no, no, no, no, no, I was better than Esau. Look at, look at their life's choices. Oh yes, Esau too made his own mistakes, but you look at their life's choices. Eventually you look at his, look at others and say, no, I found mercy. So the merciful will find mercy. Do you know that the best way to be merciful towards people is to show them the gospel? In case— listen, in case you don't know, I want to give it to you in plain terms. Anybody who didn't say yes to Jesus is going to hell. Just think about that for a moment. How can I have you as my friend and I know that if you die today, we'll never meet again? You are going— do you understand what I'm saying? To eternal damnation and I'm cool, then I'm not merciful. Do you understand what I'm saying? That if you have siblings who have not said yes to Jesus, pray for them now. One of the prayers I pray for people who are not saved is that the event that will bring them to Christ will be activated in their lives. Oh yes, something will happen somewhere. There are people that God needs to knock back to their senses. Oh yes, and he's going to orchestrate it and find ways. Listen to what I'm saying. Preach the gospel. It is not for pastors alone. He that win the soul is wise. The Great Commission is the message for the entire church. Go ye therefore. It See, when he got to apostles, pastors, prophets, and all that, he was very explicit about that work. We edify the saints, we prepare, we mature the saints for the work of ministry. But when it comes to soul winning, it's a collaborative work. Listen to what I'm saying. It doesn't matter how wealthy a person is, if the person doesn't have Jesus, they are needy. And one of the things you must learn is a systematic way of bringing Jesus into the conversation. Do you know there's a way you can preach Jesus systematically and just bring him into the matter? And before you know it, they start— you wonder why people just come around you, they are talking to you about their life, they just want to talk and say they find it— they find you comfortable to talk to. They are seeing something, there's a need. There's a need. Some of us grew up in hostile environment where preaching can cost you your life. If we preach there, we can preach anywhere. Everyone that can feel pain must be given the opportunity to escape hell.
Everyone.
Every family member, every sibling, every friend. That compassion of God's love so eat up your heart. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish. Everyone. You begin to see how— wait, let me ask you, look up everybody. How do you successfully— how do you do it that you count a whole 365 days in a year and you can't count one soul? Not circumstantially, that I went to this person, I preached to this person, and this person accepted Jesus. And when Jesus come now, or whenever he comes, this is my own fruit that I appear with. How many people are right now grateful that an aspect of their life is better because you are alive? That's how to show mercy. You know, I was listening during the prayer, they were praying for missionaries across the world. I don't even think you know what that means. Sometimes because I listen across services, I, I don't really think people Pray that prayer well enough. I'm going to tell you a story of a missionary that I know, in northern part of Nigeria. He was a doctor, a medical doctor in that part of— and he's been in that village for over 17 years, helping them, their women, delivery. So he was doing all those things, treatment, he opened You know, he used medicine as an avenue to get into that place. And yeah, he's converted quite a number of people in northern part of Nigeria. So one day, so one of the women in the village, she fell into labor. And he rushed to her house to pick her in the car and had to drive her to his own clinic, just somewhere he set up in that place, so they can begin the procedure. For delivery. While he was rushing to drive her, the car mistakenly hit someone and the person didn't die, all right, broke the leg. The father of that person, who had been among those who have benefited from the doctor's benevolence in that village, as he came out, saw that he meet his son and all that, while they were trying to— it was the doctor kind of He just shot him arrow from the back too. All right, missionaries are facing— if, if you sleep in the comfort of your home and understand that there are people who are panicking for their faith, if you have the opportunity to pray for them, do what?
Pray.
If I didn't fly at all last year, certainly I took more than 100 flights. And to every one you take, you're saying, Lord, mercy. What is the power holding that thing in the air? Technology. Thank God for it. It's the mercy of God. It is he who God keeps that is what? Kept. The best thing that has happened to humanity and the best that can happen to anybody is the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Is the gospel of our Lord. Paul said, I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. It is the power of God unto salvation. I'm not ashamed. You know, sometimes you can become ashamed of it. You don't just want them to identify, to say to Christianity, so that, you know, I beg, I beg. Everyone that can feel pain should be given the opportunity. Some of you have voices, use it. Use your platforms, preach. Another way you can show people mercy is by praying for them. I may not be able to reach you, but I'll hold you up in prayer. To intercede for people on your knees. You know, that's— you can't do that if until your heart has been touched by God, that people's pain, it feels practically like your own pain. That's the art of compassion. You want to show people mercy? Point them to the plan of God for their lives. Let them understand God has a plan for you. And of course, the devil also has a plan for everyone. His plan always is to kill, to steal, and to destroy. God's plan for you is to give you life, and you have that life even more abundantly. And he wants the light of that life to cover the whole earth as the water covered the sea. Listen to what I'm saying. Have mercy, yo. Have mercy on yourself too and don't touch what will kill you. Is the truth. Have mercy on yourself. And don't go outside the boundary of grace for your life. Have mercy on yourself and live by the dictate of God's word. A man who is not living like that is— what? The guy you call the madman of Gadara, Mark 4, who named him that? You did. The Bible never referred to him as a madman. But you look at the symptoms he was manifesting and say, this is madness. So over the years he ended. So who is a madman? The one who keeps bleeding himself, who is cutting himself, who is hurting himself. If you are hurting the plan of God for your life, something is wrong. That God has a plan but he can't do it because every time you take him backwards, it's a bad thing. Have mercy on yourself. Discern what the plan of God for you is and stay there. For some people, 2026 is God's 5th attempt to do what he could have done in 2021. This is God coming again and say, let's try one more time. And you are— are you feel what I'm saying? I understand it's a brand new year, but we still get it in context. God is trying again. Maybe this time around it will work. There was a tree that they were ready to cut. I said, don't cut it yet, let's pour water around it. And that's the misunderstanding, that you are living away from God's plan but you are still being watered. That is extra attention for one more observation. He said, if it doesn't bring fruit by next year, so then you can cut it down. God has a plan. Don't take that plan like this and squash it. If you look at the Bible very well, you discover that even though God is all-powerful, he's not always able to help everybody. The best he could help Samson was before he put his head on Delilah's lap. Once you put it, you're on your own. You can get— I think I have a book here, The Other Side of Mercy, and that's when I showed that mercy may not always be polite. The biggest trouble of your life can begin because you have found mercy. It is mercy that will put David before Goliath. If he has not found mercy, he can be sleeping. The rest were at home now. They can look at you and say, why are you the one always facing trouble? God can trust you with battles. Oh, sorry, this is the truth too.
Um.
The Lord wants me to re-emphasize on that, and I don't know who this person is. What is that thing that God keeps re-digging around you to check if at least it will get done? We may count New Year's and celebrate new birthdays, but for some, you are still 5 years away. Like, this 2021, where we were then, that's the last time we had progress. And you must discern it too, so you don't lie to yourself. That's the worst thing that can happen, to look at yourself and lie to yourself. But the mercy of God that passes understanding will open your eyes and shift you into what you ought to be doing. The mercy of God will reposition you. People of God, are you aware that this whole church thing we're doing— see, I'm a critical thinker, very, very analytical in my thinking. So what that means is that I don't like to deceive myself and I don't like to deceive people.
I just—
if something is not true, count me out of it. But are you aware that this Jesus we all preach about, one day so we'll see him, and some will hear the voice, I never knew you. One day so the whole purpose of church gathering will have ended. But that is when we'll have the biggest church growth, because they will come— everybody wants to go to the nearby church, but we'll be gone. If you have not given your life to Christ, have mercy on yourself and accept him today. Don't play church. Don't let people use religion to whine you. There's no better place to be than to be in Christ. It is my sincere prayer for you that when Jesus come on that day, you will not be missing among those that will reign with him. Now, as I close The mercy of God restores. Let me share a story with you because now there are debates as touching whether miracles happen or not. It's okay. Look at this story. There was a woman who went to see a servant of God for prayers. She's been trusting God for the fruit of the womb. The man of God, because of the crowd, didn't even have time. He said, "What do you want?" She said, "Pray for me." He said, "Okay, in the name of Jesus, God give you twins." The woman was saying, "Sa, sa, sa." She wanted to explain, but there was no time, so they had to just whisk the man of God away. What she wanted to say, she said it later when they came to dedicate the children. She wanted to tell the man of God, "I had something years ago." that they had to do a surgery and then took away the womb. Thank God the man of God didn't hear, but the God who need to answer can answer. I understand human anatomy. There's no way now. Where will the baby— there's no way. That's why it's a miracle. There is nothing that is humanly sealed that mercy cannot open. And listen to what I'm saying. Let me give you an instance. Let's say this is a poison, it's a poisonous drink, ah. If this poison expires, it's a poison, poisonous drink, it now expire, does it become more poisonous or less poisonous? Yeah, me too, I don't know. In the same vein, if a case gets more complex, it doesn't become more difficult for God to do. The potency of God is the potency of God regardless of the timing of the case. And I'm telling you this, he showed it. He can raise Lazarus for 4 days, he can reverse the right dry bones. He's God. The same thing it takes for this one, the same thing it takes for that one too. And I'm saying this because the mercy of God can be demonstrated. And, well, you know why I like mercy? Even if what you are facing now is a consequence of a mistake that you made, mercy will take care of the both of them. That's the thing. So mercy is not going to get there and say, oh, I wanted to do this, but ah, there's sin here. Mercy will first pardon and declare the person discharged and acquitted, then deal with the consequences. If there's anyone here whose life is a reflection of either a mistake you made or a mistake someone else made that you are still suffering the consequence, on the bill of mercy it is erased. If there's any aspect of your life that is the result of something that was not done well The result of something that was not done right, on the bill of mercy it is erased. Those of you who used to have burning fire for soul winning, you always want to serve God, but now you don't know where the fire is, let there be a restoration. This year Everyone under the sound of my voice, by the end of the year, not only will you have testimonies, you will also have souls you have won. If there's anyone who is currently facing dead ends at major crossroads where it looks like all hope is lost, the mercy of God rewrite your story.
Amen.
People of God, look up. You know the story of that woman that they caught in the act of adultery? You know, now you can hear the Muslim talk about Sharia law and feel, if not for Jesus, we too, we would have been doing that too. You understand what I'm saying?
Yes.
Now somebody has just done something, came to confess and say, Pastor, I made a mistake. Everybody gather stone Gather stone, there's somebody to kill. But thank God for Jesus. That woman was doomed to die. It was countercultural that Jesus said, if you have not sinned, stone her. Instead of that day becoming the day she died, it became the day she now began to reveal Jesus to the rest of the world. What I'm saying is that what was planned to be the lowest point it can become the peak on the bill of mercy. The mercy of God will rewrite the situation. I pray for everyone with any form of ailment, either watching online or here, to every sickness disappear now.
Amen.
Those trusting God for the fruit of the womb, I decree and I I declare by this time next year you're already carrying your baby.
Amen.
Those who are expecting mothers have babies coming on the way. Everything will go well.
Amen.
Everything is aligned. Again, I decree from today going forward, when people look at you, they will say, no, this one has found mercy. The mercy of God becomes obvious in your journey. It is done. Thank you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name. All right, God bless you. Let's receive Pastor Wale.
Thank you, sir. Come on, if you are happy and excited to be in church this morning, can you jam those hands together very well? Glory to God. Um, let's stretch forth our hands to Apostle and decree blessings. The Bible says a liberal soul shall be made fat, and he that waters shall by himself be watered also. We've been blessed greatly this morning. Can we communicate prayers that grace and peace be multiplied to God's servant? That the Lord God of Heaven will continue to strengthen him with might, even by the spirit in his inner man. Can you just pray in these few moments? I think that is what we can offer in gratitude to God. In the name of Jesus, Lord, we thank you for the blessedness that you have sent to us through your servant this morning. Please, we ask, oh God, that you keep him, you strengthen him, In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. And as a family, what do we say to Apostle? Apostle, we love you, and there is nothing you can do about it. Glory to God. Please have your seat in God's presence. We are gradually bringing this service to a close. All right, um, This is Light Nation Atlanta, right? That's how you people call your city. Interesting. So if today happens to be your first time in this church, I'd like you to just signify by waving your hands to Jesus. Oh, glory to God! Let's celebrate them. Awesome. Okay, so those hands that were up, we just like with Jesus' joy to receive you. Please can you just rise to your feet and come to the front? Let's celebrate them. Yeah, all our first-timers, let's receive them. Please come to the front. You can come to the front. Yeah, you know, Light Nation is a global church, so we want all our online family members to see those of you who are worshiping with us for the very first time.
Thank you.
Glory to God. Yeah, I think they, they've already learned the culture of the house by facing the church. Let's celebrate them once again. Yeah, so like I said earlier, this is Light Nation Atlanta, and we are a branch of Light Nation Global, and this ministry is under the leadership of Apostle Femi Lazarus and Pastor Miracle Femi Lazarus. And of course, it's such a special day today that our global lead pastor is present in our midst today, so we thank God for that. And in this branch, we have our resident pastor, that's Pastor Taiwo. Taiwo, you know, he got married today. You can see his wife beside him. So in this church, we have 5 covenants that are at work in this house. Number 1 is the covenant of life— nothing dies in our hands. And the second one is the covenant of ease— we do not struggle to get anything done. And the third of the covenant is the covenant of God's sure mercy. God has said to us, you know, it's the mercy of God that prevails over judgment. Amen. That is a covenant in this house. And the fourth one is the covenant of praise. And what that means is God promised everybody connected with this family that as often as we pray, praise him, we will have reasons to praise him. And of course, January 1st this year, God added a new covenant to this house, and that is the covenant of favor. So it's surrounding us like a shield. And while we are saying this to you is because everyone that joins this family, you are welcome into this covenant as inheritance. And so we believe that going forward, all these covenants will be finding expressions in your life, in the name of Jesus. We're happy to receive you. Every Tuesday we have our Bible study, uh, in West African time at 5:30, and on Friday globally we have our prayers. Of course, we use a different time zone here, and every Monday to Friday also at 6 AM West African Time. Currently that will be 12 AM EST. We have a prophetic prayer contact with Apostle, call it PPC. PPC family in the house, celebrate Jesus! Awesome! So connect directly with Apostle on YouTube and Facebook Live where we pray together as a family. I want to invite you to join us in all these meetings and you will greatly be blessed. Um, as we're about to leave now— who is taking there? Okay, please just go through this direction, then they will show you a bit of hospitality. Church, can we celebrate them as they move? Just follow this side. Thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless you. And also this morning, it's time to honor the Lord with our substance, you know.. The Bible speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter 9, he said, let every man determine in his heart what you are going to offer unto the Lord as offering. Then he went further to say, he that sow sparingly shall reap sparingly, and he that sow bountifully shall also reap bountifully. So this morning, let's take advantage of this account number as we honor the Lord with our substance. We have, um, the account number there. And also, I know we use Zelle a lot in this place. Um, our Zelle details is lightnationatl, right, at gmail.com. lightnationatl@gmail.com. And also, if you want to use Cash App, you can just scan the QR code that is on the screen. And if you are watching us online wherever you are, across the nations of the earth. We'd like you also to participate in this offering session. The Lord bless you and your seed. And as we are doing that, I like the Streams of Life to take us just in 3 minutes of praise.
Glory to God.
Oh Lord, our God, we are thankful for out of the abundance you have provided unto us, we have come to honor you with this as substance. Spirit of the Lord, we ask that you receive us and our offering. And from the pocket where all these are flowing out, we pray you replenish those pockets in multiple folds. We thank you, faithful Father. In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. And of course, with Jesus' joy, and in— listen, Atlanta people, I want to bring your pastor, and you know, I want you to show your excitement in the presence of our apostles today as we receive your pastor. Today is a special day, so with Jesus' joy, let's rise to our feet as we welcome our resident pastor, Pastor Taiwo Taiwo.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
I have more than 1,000 reasons to be happy today. Are you happy as well? Can we celebrate Apostle? Let's celebrate Apostle. You know, every Sunday we will be like, oh, we are privileged to be led by God's servant Apostle Femi Lazarus. He's in the house. So we're happy to have you this morning. And on behalf of Light Nation, can we echo, Apostle, we love you and there is nothing we can do about you. In Asantewaa, can we say Can we also, uh, make this love verse to Pastor Miracle Femi Lazarus in absence? Yeah, can we all say together, church? Miracle, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it. We love you, ma. We know you are watching us and, uh, thank you so much. On behalf of Light Nation Atlanta, we say thank you so much for releasing Apostle to us in this critical time. And Apostle, we are so sorry for the weather. Thank you so much for managing it with We know how it is. And can you celebrate yourself this morning? Can you celebrate yourself this morning? Please, you may have your seat. You may have your seat, please. And I want every one of you to, uh, I want to say thank you to every one of you for making it out this morning. You have every reason to be in your room. In fact, it's so amazing to see her face this morning. We're already contemplating, should we just do the wedding online and the service online? Everybody just But we can just— thank you so much for coming, and it's my prayer that God who rewards will reward you mightily in the name of Jesus. I won't take much of our time. I'll just be running up right now, just only few announcements. Apostle's book is behind there. You can just get any of those books for yourself. They are so powerful, it's on different topic, um, and you can just exploit as many as you can. Um, Pastor Wale has already talked about PPC. Some of the testimonies that were shared during this morning, they're on PPC. I got like, like different testimony. And I always ask myself, what if those people choose not to join PPC that day? They will have missed their time, they will have missed their season. So please always do too. And it's amazing, it's 12:00 AM here, it's just you just starting the day. It's like speaking into the day. And I pray the Lord bless us mightily in the name of Jesus. Uh, more information about International School of Ministry, we get that very soon, um, because it will be starting very, very soon. And if you're in the house and you have not a student of Apostle, be in the room with him, please. This just maximize this year. More like a school of ministry. I don't have God's call upon my life. Every one of us has God's call upon our lives. Everyone. They have not discovered is the reason why even in school of ministry, because when you go there, you get to know who you are. And I pray the Lord bless us mightily. In the name of Jesus. Then aside that, a lot of people have been asking, how do you want to join Apostle Mentee class, uh, mentorship class? Uh, please always reach out to me. We have structure in place to get you on board. You won't have any issue with, um, maybe payments lagging and everything. Everything have been taken care of, so we can always get that across to you. And as you do that, the Lord bless you mightily in the name of Jesus. This is Light Nation Atlanta, and our service start exactly 10:00 AM every Sunday. Um, Um, for a lot of people that have known us before, for the past few months we have been using our previous venue, and this venue is just, um, I don't want to use a brand new venue again because it's like you have worshiped here like more than 3 Sundays now. So we'd like to encourage every one of us in Atlanta to worship with us and be part of what God is doing in this city. And I'll say that the Lord bless almighty in the name of Jesus. Can we all rise on our feet? Feet as we take our affirmation, as we bring the service to a close. But before you go this morning, can you look to your neighbor and say, your week is blessed. Prophesy to your neighbor, your week is blessed. Doors of greatness are open unto you. Doors of greatness are open unto you. You have in abundance. Say it loud and clear: You have in abundance. You lack nothing. You lack nothing. God is with you. And say this loud and clear: You receive mercy. You obtain mercy. You live in mercy. And your life is a proof of mercy.
Can you rejoice this morning? Hallelujah!
All right, can we just take our— for those who are joining for the very first time, we echo it together. This is our affirmation, and I want us to all do it together this morning. 1, 2, go! We are Light Nation, an atmosphere of God's influence. We love effortlessly, we sacrifice selflessly, and pray earnestly. We are a people of great faith strength, strong vision, and excellent spirit. We are the epicenter of God's grace upon the earth. We have a lifestyle that is consistent with the authority of scriptures. We believe when the Lord said to us that we are a city in every city. This is the house of pruning, forging, and making of giants. The shout of the king is among us.
We rejoice! We rejoice!
You can't say you Joyce, they are still in one spot.
We rejoice! We rejoice!
Can you do that better?
We rejoice! Hallelujah!
Thank you so much, Pastor Wale. God bless you, sir. Thank you so much. He's our North American pastor. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. Can we all share the grace in fellowship? The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Be with us now and forevermore. Amen. Hallelujah. Please, if you want to see Apostle, please, you just have to sit at this side. As you can take your seat so that we can just take people in as, as little as we can. Please, um, I don't know for how long he's going to be able to see someone, but if you want to see Apostle, please just, just stay here. We'll— let's make it in a more organized way. God bless you mightily in the name of Jesus.
