LMM24 | DAY 1 | MORNING SESSION | NOVERMBER 29TH | OIKIA CHRISTAIN CENTRE

In this extended morning session of the LMM24 conference, Apostle Femi Lazarus delivers a prophetic, highly emotive sermon that weaves personal testimonies of supernatural healings with biblical exposition to present his vision of the New Testament Church. He opens with praise and anecdotes of miraculous deliverance, then moves into a theological portrait of the church, citing Isaiah 60, Micah 4, Genesis 1, Romans 6, Ephesians 3 and other passages to argue that the church is called to be a light that dispels darkness, a living embodiment of God’s image, and a conduit of divine power. Lazarus emphasizes the necessity of the Holy Spirit’s anointing, speaking in tongues, prophecy, and the manifestation of miracles as everyday reality, urging listeners to move beyond theory into experiential faith. He shares multiple healing stories—people rising from wheelchairs, tumors shrinking, a man standing after decades of paralysis—to illustrate that the power of Christ is available to believers. Throughout, he repeatedly affirms his own identity as anointed, filled with God’s power, and calls the audience to lift hands, speak declarations, and practice spiritual gifts, promising that the church will become the visible wisdom of God to heavenly authorities. The session ends with a call to practical training in the next meeting, focusing on tongues, interpretation, and prophetic ministry.

using supernatural, getting people out of wheelchairs, blind eyes open, you know, that sort of thing. Praise God! Mighty, mighty man. I remember the first time some years ago, I think you had a meeting in Ife, and there was a person that had a spinal condition or something like that that got up out of a wheelchair like this. I was like, wow! Praise God! Amen! And God has also been using him mightily to speak to issues in the body of Christ that we'd rather not talk about. Hallelujah! Anointed him for it. Glory to God! I call the shrink of the Body of Christ. He's our therapist, I'm telling you, because when you listen to him, it's like God is mending you, you know. Don't you say, bring it out, let me mend it, you know. Praise God, praise God, praise God. All right, with Jesus' joy in our hearts, can we make welcome from the Spell of Light Church, Love Nation, Apostle Femi Lazarus. Praise God. Amen, amen, amen. Dear wife. I feel so glad and privileged to share this fellowship with you. Your pastor took me to Grand Chop Life yesterday. That's why I'm a bit bigger, both in Christ and in the flesh. Amen. And so good to see you, ma. Your hairstyle. Amazing. On behalf of Pastor, you look great. Thank you. I was listening to the things you were sharing and I was like, yes, this is my place. So glad. Thank you, sir. Please let's be seated in a moment. I want to really acknowledge the sacrifice behind putting a meeting like this together. I know it's taken so much, both financially and human capital. I want to especially also celebrate all ministers of the gospel The pastors of this ministry, we honor you. Thank you for being an excellent example of how ministry is to be done. Pastor Femi Lazarus is a voice of balance and wisdom. I honor you, sir. Amen. Now God placed the word in my spirit, um, which is going to still be me speaking to the subject matter but probably coming from a different angle. But even as we start, I'd like to beg that we speak in other tongues for just a few minutes. Can you do that? Let's pray loud and clear. Loud and clear. Mante kostofle di kambatisto fale mante kosti. I lost a friend. Kosti vahan de kosti. Oh yes. Mente kostofende kosende keroshte. Oh yes. Send the coasty Femi Lazarus. Bring the coast in the chaos to finish. Black cast the van de cozy, van de cozy. Oh yes, Lord. Bring coast of land de coast. Bring the coast of land de coast. Rinde kosi. Pray in other tongues. Rinde kosi vlahande koso fede. In Jesus' name we're praying. May I please request that the Keyboard is just beyond the keyboard. So primarily I function in the prophetic office, but I teach. And for some days now, I just noticed that the hand has not lifted. So, um, I've been praying and trying to what I'm going to teach this morning. Is that okay? Oh, can we lift our hands to God again and thank him for what he's doing in this season and time? Thank you, Lord Jesus. We bless your holy name, Jesus. In Jesus' name. All right, just turn it down a bit. All right, let's build. I'm going to be speaking the subject that is titled The Portrait of the New Testament Church. The Portrait of the New Testament Church. And I'm going to show you a few scriptures and, um, also to bring to perspective the intentions of God for the church. It's just a bit more. All right, particularly in respect to the season that we are Um, as a people, for instance, most times when we speak about prophecies or prophetic scriptures that speaks about the last days, or sometimes use the word the end of age there is a possibility that the focus of the church is shifted to look at the works of darkness and what the devil is trying to do. But if you look at scriptures like Isaiah chapter number 60 from verse 1, says, arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, but The Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Now these are very clear-cut scriptures that even as we approach the coming of Jesus, it is not just the devil that is busy, God is busy too. If you look at another prophecy about the last days in Micah chapter number 4, 4 from verse 1. Micah chapter number 4 from verse 1 says, but in the last days it shall come to pass that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and the people shall flow to it, and many nations shall come and say, come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will teach us his ways. Someone say, he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For the law shall go forth out of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. That's so profound. So it speaks about that as we approach the coming of Jesus, there's going to be an alarming level of darkness. And that's, that's really not a threat because there's just a simple solution to darkness, and that's light. You see, you don't go around fussing about the darkness. Oh, it's so dark, gross darkness. The people, oh, why are they behaving like this? Why are they thinking like this? We just Shine the light. And because where there is darkness, there is confusion, and when there is light, there is solution, automatically Kings will gravitate towards the church. Recently I was watching Rick Joyner Sunday service, and he said a statement. He said if the prophetic ministry will function the way it should function, that the world will not need mainstream media. Wow, so profound. So profound. And if care is not taken as Christians, we may only talk about these things that God has freely given to us in Christ theoretically, but not experientially. The theory is powerful, but much more God wants us to walk in the reality of what God has made available in Christ. There was an image he had in mind that necessitated the coming of Christ. And it doesn't matter the kind of ministry we do, it is not complete until that man is formed. In Genesis chapter number 1 from verse 26, Genesis chapter number 1 from verse 26, look at it. And God said— or probably if you want to have a deeper understanding of that scripture, then you want to start the reading from verse 24. Genesis 1, from verse 24. And God said, let us— let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle and creeping thing and the beast of the earth after his kind. And it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind. And God saw that it was good. And God said, let us make man in our image. In other words, let make our kind. So it means that if you are going to understand the full concept of man in the first place, is to look at God. You can't get the full idea by looking at a dysfunctional system or a destructive system. God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God made man in his own image In the image of God created he them— created him, sorry. Male and female created he them. So that, that, that, that already destroys the idea of the fact that women are less. From the very beginning, God didn't design in such a way that a male man ought to be more anointed than a female man. God made man in his own image. Male and female created he them. So we boastfully say, whether male or female, I am anointed. I am like God. I've been made in his image and after his likeness. Say it again. I'm anointed. I am not less because of my gender. I've been made in God's image. All right, let's put it like this: I've been made to reflect his person. What does it mean for something to be in the image of something? So, um, apart from ministry, I also paint. So, um, although I've not had time to to sit in the studio in recent times. But if you want to draw, let's say for instance, the portrait of a person, first you need to have an idea of the details in the person whose portrait or image you want to replicate. And whatever it is you are not doing is nonsense if there's no details. When God said, let us make man in our own image, God is not a bad artist. It is to details. Let me tell you something. Everything Jesus came to do was to show man what God designed him to that Peter will look at Jesus walking upon the sea and say, if it is you, tell me to come. And Jesus will not say, ah, Peter, go and do 3 days' ride, come. Meaning that if you can see it, you can replicate it. I wish we'd understand that one time Someone was brought to me that had a sickness, and it was a serious one. So while the sister was trying to narrate the whole thing, so I said, "Get up." Then I lay hands on her and commanded the spirit of infirmity to go. She fell, and then it was a tumor. Then right before our eyes, the tumor shrunk. And the brother that was with me, who happened to be a Sunday school teacher, said, 'How is that possible?' That there was no music, no worship, this, this, this, this. How is it possible? It is not the music that brings the power. We are a walking reflection of everything that is consist in the Christ. That when you read Acts, how God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, went about doing good, you can sufficiently see how God anointed Femi Lazarus with the Holy Ghost and with power. In Acts 1:8 says, and you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. This is our covenant inheritance in Christ, that we are not just bunch of theoretical figures void of the power. Say it again, I walk in power. I walk in power. Say it one more time. I walk in power. Say it one more time. I walk in power. I am full of God's power. I am full of God's grace. I walk in the manifestation of his power and his grace. Everywhere I step, the kingdom of God has come. I am the manifestation of the kingdom of God on earth. There is nothing normal about me. I'm going to teach just on Hold on, I'm trying to prep you. How many sessions do I have today? Two. So we'll teach, then the next session we get into practical. One time someone called me and began to explain and said, please, I need help, I need help. I said, what is it? He said, this is happening in my family, this, this, this, this. We need— please, sir, just say a word. What is God showing you? And he was saying many things at once, trying to bamboozle my heart. And while he was talking, I heard a name in my spirit, Mrs. Something Something. So I said, sorry, sir, just hold on. The Lord said to ask you, who is Mrs. So-and-so and so-and-so? So he kept quiet. Then he didn't talk. I said, please speak up. Um, he said, actually, that's my dad's elder sister. I said, ah, the Lord said you've been sleeping with her. So he ended the call. All right, but because of Truecaller, we could trace the person and try check what went wrong. So I found out, we found out, my team, that he called from a show where they call pastors and tell them what is not true and mock them as they begin to prophesy. It was on that live show that God exposed that he was sleeping with the elder sister of his father. Without power, they will make mockery of what we represent. From the very beginning, God wasn't hiding his intention. I want to make this being, and my intention for making these guys is to be me. Here on earth. That as he is, so we will be, so we will function in full dominion. And I love what Pastor said, that you see, when people truly understand and encounter the word, and you know what consecration is, you don't get to ask questions like, so if a man is, is watching pornography, is he going to make it to heaven? Because the light has not broken in your spirit. You lose the ability to do what is contrary to the intentions of God. That's the nature of the new man. You lose the ability. You lose the ability. Now let me show you a few scriptures. Ephesians chapter number 2. Are you still with me? Yes, sir. Thank you, Lord. Ephesians chapter number 2. Let's start reading from verse 1. And you had he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins. Say it again. He has quickened me. He has quickened me. All right, if the media can help me, sometimes I like to show multiple scriptures at once. You can put this side by side with Romans chapter number 6. It will amaze you. Glory to God. You are the quickened. So the new man in Christ is a man who has been quickened. All right, he's been quickened out of the lifestyle and the grip of the flesh. Now I love the way Paul puts it to the Romans. Amen. Look at the way Paul puts it. We look at the book of Romans chapter number 6. Let's start the reading from verse 3. Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by the baptism into his death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we should walk in newness of life. Verse 5. But for if we have been planted together in likeness of his death, we shall also be in likeness of his resurrection. Now you must understand that the real portrait of the new man is after the image of the resurrected Christ. That's the idea. It's after the image of the resurrected Christ. If we be planted in likeness of his death, we shall also be in likeness of resurrection, knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him. That the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Glory to God. Say it again: My old man is crucified. My old man is crucified with Christ. With Christ. You know what it means? It means I've been nailed to the cross, fastened with him. When he died, I died. The same way the glory of God burst him out of the grave, I've been raised and quickened with him. Somebody say, what about the appetite of sin? Sometimes I still find myself desiring all those things. Listen what I'm saying. That's the way Jesus now said. He said, sanctify them by your truth. Your word is what? Truth. If you read the book of Romans chapter number 12 from verse 2, says that, but do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. So it means that it is not enough to just receive the message and be born again and be saved. Now there is what the word does to bring you into that image and stature. So when we come to church, we are not wasting time. As we behold him, we have been transformed from inside out to become like him. I've seen chronic smokers will sit under the simplicity of the word, and you see, the word is not you coming out and judging people by their sins. And find a way to sandwich, you know, that, you know, somebody, maybe someone just confided in the pastor and said, I just had an abortion, and find a way to sandwich it and bang the person on the head. That's not the word. But you'll be amazed to see people sit coming the way they are, but as they're exposed to the life of Christ and the word, they have been changed from inside out. Oh, that's what I love to see, to see people who don't look anything like it, and before you know it, when they are pastors for a while, they begin to perceive their calling in Christ. Start seeing beyond sitting in church, because I'm going to take you there, that we must mature to the point that we ourselves don't just receive ministry gifts we also become one. Amen. We also become one to the end that we begin to bless the world. He has quickened us. Now look at this: for he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe we shall also live with him, knowing that Christ being raised from the dead, dead dieth no more. Death has no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once, but he that delivered, delivered unto God likewise. Someone say likewise. Likewise. Say it again. Say likewise. Likewise. Meaning that if you have seen this, in the same manner reckon yourself— that is, adjust yourself to your new reality. This is your reality. Reckon yourselves indeed to be dead indeed to sin and alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin reign in your mortal bodies. Meaning, the meaning of that word is that you, you have the ability in Christ to say it doesn't go further. There is no such thing that I'm just helpless, whenever it happens I'm helpless, you know, when I— whenever it just comes, it just render me powerless, whenever I see him I'm just powerless, I'm speechless. Stop that. Where do you put the power of the Holy Ghost? Is that working in you? You see, what the Holy Ghost does is to strengthen you from inside out. Peter— a little girl saw Peter when Jesus was to be crucified and said, hey Peter, I know you. You are the one who went to buy bread and fish that day, are you not? You know what Peter said? What are you talking about? Hey, do I dwell with Jesus? If I know Jesus, my head bend. Someone else met him and said, ah, you know what I love about that story is the fact that there is a point you get to that you can no longer sneak to commit sin. What has rubbed off on you is too much that somebody will leave a country and go to another country to commit sin, and the girl will say, I can't. I know I get customers, but there is something different about you. And Peter was denying, I don't know. But when the Holy Ghost came on the day of Pentecost, And the Bible said it sat upon them like cloven tongues of fire. And people began to say, "They are drunk, they are drunk." It was Peter who got up and said, "We are not drunk. This is that which was prophesied by Joel, saying, 'It will come to pass, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh.'" And through that one sermon, thousands came. Because now there is an inward working of the Holy Ghost from his inside. Say it again. I have the power of the Holy Ghost. Look at the way you are saying it. Come on, say it again. I am strengthened from inside out. There is nothing normal about me. I'm not powerless. Glory. Thank you, Lord. Let not sin reign in your mortal bodies, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yield them— yield yourselves to God as those that are alive and freed from death, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under grace. Are you seeing that? Mean that being under grace is even a much more powerful equipping. The law puts a demand on people that they can't meet, puts so much demand you can't meet it. But you're under grace. You know, I love what Hebrews 4:16 says: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need. We come boldly. Let me give you Some of the examples, you're right. If you want to understand what Christ did, hope you know that you can see Christ, which is of the Old Testament, many events. So when you read, for instance, Hebrews 11:1 says, faith is a substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. That substance is Christ. That when Moses was putting a snake on the pole, it was still pointing to a perfect image coming. In Genesis 27, when Rebecca agreed with Jacob to present him to Isaac to receive the blessing— come— and Do you mind I get your suit? And Isaac— and Jacob was going to meet Isaac. You come also. All right. And Rebecca put the skin of the animal she had killed on him and said, go and receive what is yours. And Isaac said— Jacob said, God give you the gift. My brothers are not walking the supernatural is that they still doubt who they are. Some think God is looking for an avenue to kill me. Someone— God is looking for an avenue to kill me. Someone believe that God gave me this sickness so he could teach me a lesson. If he can't give Christ Why you? God doesn't love me lesser than he loves Christ. Before God, we are equal in terms of love. Wrap your hands around your chest. I love experiences. Say, I'm loved. Say it again, I am loved. Now, if you're a pastor here, I'd like you to say it even much more, because sometimes it is very easy to think God is using you into depreciation, and you are not so loved, but he loves the people. Say it one more time: I'm loved. Say it again: I'm loved by God. He has my life figured out. I am loved by God. Sit down for a moment. Sit down for a moment. So it means as we are seated here We are not naked. Hey, are you still there? We are not naked, we are clothed. When you hear stories of things, maybe miraculous acts and things that God has done, they are not sharing those stories to make the man of God look like some Superman. So last week Femi Lazarus. Was it last week that we were in Kano? So I was teaching them about the reason why we have to equip believers to do the work of ministry. So we call for all the sick people, and I said, I'm not going to lay hands on anyone. I call people who have never laid hands on anyone before and gotten them healed. Just last week. And before you know it, in less than 5 minutes, they got a woman out of wheelchair. Meaning that the power has always been there, but they are just not deploying it. You know, the same way there could be current passing through a wire, and when you see a wire or a conductor that current is flowing through, and the one that there is no current through, they look the same. The difference is when you plug things to them, you find out that one can make things work. Sometimes you look not too different from unbelievers because you are not plugged into Kingdom service, but as you begin to put it to work, it will amaze you. The amazing things that God will do through you. Now let me just show you, um, the verse I want to show you, then I can move to other scriptures. Let's read Romans 6:16 together with a loud voice. Romans 6:16, 1, 2, 3, go! So whosoever you yield yourself servant to be, a servant you are to be. So it means that the same way people are servant of sin, that you see someone is hooked on a habit, can't stop. When the fellow tries to stop, it's like, you know, it's compelling them, do this. And again, you can be hooked on doing the right things. Because already you have the nature of righteousness. It is not what we just talk about, it is what we manifest, the walking reality of it. No believer is ordinary. It depends Let me give you two stories. One time, this should be between year 2012 and 2013, we were trusting God for a massive crusade in Ghana. We wanted to have a crusade We reached out to some of the bodies around the villages who want to have the crusade, and they were giving us a possibility of this date because this is their calendar. So we're on ground, and we were fasting and praying, trusting God. So they called me and said, if you want to really reach out to these people We think we have a better opportunity. I said, what's that? They said this weekend— no, about 2 weeks to that time, they said they were going to have a burial ceremony and they were burying 3 people. So they agreed to come together. So about 5 villages were coming together for the burial. I said, you come? I said, okay, I'll come. So that's an opportunity, minister in that burial. We can just convert it to So I went there and the whole burial thing was to start at night, I think around 9:30. And when I got there, I requested— because among those they were about to bury was a 33-year-old boy and one old woman. So when I got there that night, you know, we've been fasting. So I requested, I said, can I see where they laid these bodies? They said, um, which body? I said, the persons you want to bury. They said, oh, that's one of them standing behind your back. I said, no, they want me. Don't worry me. What do you mean? What do you mean? He said, no, just look behind. That's one of them. What do you mean standing? I didn't come from Nigeria to come and see standing cops. So when I look back, then it occurred to me that the person I walked past thinking was a protocol person was actually a cop holding a cane. Ah, I didn't prepare for this problem. I said to them, I said, Pastor, can I see you? Say yes. I said, you know, I respect you guys, your tradition. I said, I won't be here. I said, so you guys carry on with the program, carry on. I said, I'll see you later. I left. I said, I didn't come here for this kind of problem. So I left, of course fearful. I got back to my room, I broke the fast. I said, give me tea. And Katawa, she will say, so we just some other time. So I said, while I sat down there I just played the message of Bishop Oyedepo when it was playing on my phone. It was as though a spirit entered into me, and it was the spirit of faith, and it jacked me up. And I began to ask myself, what am I doing here in the first place? I called the pastor. 'Can I still meet up with this meeting?' He said, 'You can meet up with the meeting.' I said, 'I'm coming.' There is something called the hearing of faith, that as you hear the word, it is infusing you with the capacity. It is revealing your original design. I got up, went back to that place, and I, I will tell you, from that moment till now, I I do not have the ability to be scared. People look at me and say, 'So what do you think you're doing? How are you this bold?' I said, 'I just don't know if I should be afraid. I really don't know.' You want to know the number of people that gave their lives to Christ that night? The entire place was turned upside down. I could have gone to drink tea and sleep with that power. But you won't know what you are capable of until you push it out. You are not about to become, you already are. What God wants to do is to manifest that reality. You see, that place so turned upside down that the radio stations were looking for us. I tell you. I remember shortly after that event, I was somewhere to do something. So I sat down with a Nigerian woman, we were talking, and my friend was there, still in Ghana. And suddenly my friend just pushed me off the chair. I fell. So I was like, 'What happened?' Then I saw he was eating something on the ground. Then it was a snake. And he said he has been seeing it subconsciously. The snake was just beside my leg, raised the head but could not strike. So apparently the snake dried up, and it's been there since we've been talking for over 30 minutes, just there, and it dried. So as he was eating the snake, that was when he found out that the lake has even dried up. It is not the exclusive reality of some. This power shall follow them that believe. You will march upon scorpions. You see, listen, it is one thing to talk about these things, talk, talk, talk, talk. I want to walk into the experience. And you get to place where the power of darkness is so felt and dominated, and you know the manifest now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakers of his promise, promise in Christ by the gospel. So in the simplicity of preaching the gospel, Gentiles are becoming what? Fellow heirs. What does that mean? Joint heirs. They have become one to make, to partake of the riches that is in Christ. We are not co-heirs but joint heirs. Joint. Look at verse 7. Whereof I was made a minister according to the gift of grace. According to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of the saints, is, is this grace given, that I should know the unsearchable riches of Christ, of Christ, and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world had been hid in God, who created all things. By Jesus Christ. Now before we get to verse 10, you know this, which was— look at it— which God ordained before the world, what, unto our glory, which none of the princes of this world knew. For had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. The devil was that dumb. Don't dignify him, he doesn't know everything. As a matter of fact, the devil is a blind fighter because he doesn't have the light that we have. We can say the same way it was said of Jesus, that if the prince of this world had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. There are many things you pass through in life that if only the devil was smart, it should not have been you that will pass through that. Because not only did you survive, you came out with the anointing to pull many out. You came out with a dimension of grace that the devil began to regret, that I should have just left this girl alone. Should have just been better for her to have peace. Let me tell you something. One of the things I found out is that tribulation is not— doesn't threaten what we carry. It reveals the quality. It reveals the quality. Maybe there's somebody who is asking, why, why is my life like this? Why am I the one who went through all that? Why am I the one who wish— I wish my parents were together. I wish they— I wish I— let me tell you something. Stop wishing. Manifest the life that you have. The reason why you went through all that is that you are coming out with a new anointing, grace. Something that when you speak from a depth, even those who are dead will be quickened. They can tell that this one has the anointing for me. I used to be a DJ, even though I don't look anything like it again. I don't know what was going on in my head. You go to parties, your trousers sagged. Put some G-Unit and fly your collar. I am bouncing like they hit you with plank 2x2. I say, ah, DJ, you go to places they are smoking weed and they pass it. That's when the church boy in me will react. Say, I'm not feeling cool tonight. I was always not feeling cool because that was not my identity. Well, if I get to see people who are living that lifestyle, I can speak to them from a depth because I know what it means to be there. I understand. The devil doesn't know much, or let me say, he doesn't know as we have magnified him to know if he had known. So meaning that the devil might be rejoicing as Jesus was being nailed to the cross, only to see, only to see that as he has said, on the third day he came up bursting forth from the grave. Ah, we need John 3:16 for gospel of God, that he gave his only. The devil thought he was killing the only begotten Son, but he didn't know that except a great of it falls down and dies, it abides alone. He sowed one, thousands and billions came up together. When you sow a seed, you don't reap lesser quality, same qualities in Asia, in Africa, in Europe. He didn't know. He thought when he was doing that and the grave was closed with a tombstone. He thought it was sealed, but no. If the power that raised Christ from the dead be in you, the same Spirit will quicken your mortal bodies. Oh, glory to God! He might died— actually, he died, but it was only for 3 days. And now we don't call him late Jesus. There is Buddha and his tombstone exists, but there is Jesus, but the grave is empty. The grave is empty. That's the real— in fact, that is the root of the New Testament faith, the resurrection. That's the root of it. You look at the way he introduced himself. In the book of Revelation. Are you still there with me? Oh, thank you, Lord. Say, I serve a living God. Say it again, I serve a living God. I'm not serving a dead savior. Look at what he said in Revelation chapter number 1, verse 18. Revelation chapter number 1, verse 18. I am he that liveth and was dead. Was dead, and behold, I am alive. Listen to this. Everyone— you see, Jesus was not the first to rise from the dead. Lazarus rose from the dead. As a matter of fact, the bones of Elisha was so potent, he rose a boy back from the dead. But Jesus rose from the dead not to die again. It was swallowing death in victory. That's the reality. And let me tell you something, because sometimes I, I feel you don't— maybe people don't understand the depth of what redemption is. Redemption was that God became manu to save us from what we could not save ourselves from. Never— this is the part you need to get— never to unbecome man. Gosh, meaning that even till now, Jesus is man. Let me show you a scripture. Are you still there? 1 Timothy. 1 Timothy chapter number 1. Oh, thank you, Lord. Let me start from verse 1 so you can understand the context of that scripture. I exhort therefore— 1 Timothy 2, sorry, 2 from verse 1. 1 Timothy 2 from verse 1. I exhort therefore that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and a peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who will have all men saved— how many people saved? All men saved— and come to the knowledge of truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the what? The what? The what? The what? The what? The man who Christ Jesus— in the beginning was the word, the word was God, the word was with him. Listen to what I'm saying. That word has become man. So it means that my kind is in the Godhead. I am fully represented in the Divine. Oh my, imagine if your uncle becomes the president. You almost just want to look for a last man who has done something wrong. I say, was it you I saw last week at Oshodi? Bring your head here. Because it brings you into a new level of awareness. So now you understand what manner of love is this. What kind, what kind of love is this that God will lay, he will lay down his life freely? Abraham wanted to kill Isaac. He wanted to step into a reality. I said, don't. Anyways, if he had killed Isaac, he'd ask Ishmael. Say, don't. Go and use the ram. But God willingly gave it. That is what it takes to have uwi awo. God had to become man and die. And the Bible is saying that that spirit that jacked him up, it is not less in you in terms of quality. It is not less. You see, if we begin to speak these realities the way we are, the way they are, the world cannot receive them. Anything we say that the world can receive, it is not deep enough. Because when you understand that we have not even done much— they said, um, most miracles are staged. And as a man walks on the street with the consciousness of the divine life, blind eyes are opening, deaf ears are opening, and it has now become our new normal. Revival and evangelism becomes easy. I was in the village to have a crusade. This should be between 2009, 2010, and we got to the village. I used to take our pastors years back to different places, and the But then there in those Tik village, they don't have bale, they don't have king, they have what they call bale. You see this? No, you don't see anything like a roof, don't see no wires, nothing. The man said that he has a problem. No, say, Pastor, if you can pray for one of my chiefs that has been a concern for the entire village. I said, we'll pray for him. So he said, um, somebody will take you to where he is, please pray for him. So I said, let's go. You know, there's a way you are, huh, overconfident until you know what you're about to see. I said, let's go. My people were there now, ah, and guys stay behind, pray, you let's go. I knew there was problem when the boy took take me there. Got close to the altar and pointed, oh, oh, oh no. I said, follow me. I said, oh no. So I entered. The first thing that met me was very deep smell. It was bad. And the room was dark. And as I looked closely, I saw that someone was laying on the thatched bed there, and this was more or less a cadaver. Whatever this is, this person is gone. And as I moved closely, I saw he was trying to cough, and he would almost lift himself up and trying to cough. And I was holding my breath so I could pray for him, then get out. How will I believe that there is a life at work in me that can get him up from the— from that sickness, but that life can't stop it from getting into me? So God said, pick him up. Hallelujah! He didn't just say pick him up, he said embrace him. And I tell you When you say smell, this was smelly. And each time he was— you know, he was feeling the air, whatever pathogen that was. So I— and I could feel his ribs. He was so frail. He shouldn't be more than— not up to 20 kg. And as I helped him, God said, pray for him now. And I was the one carrying him. I was just praying till I lost consciousness of the sickness, and I was filled with compassion. I was crying, and I noticed at some point that I was no longer the one carrying him. I felt he was standing, so I began to release him and he was standing. So he held me by the waist, I held him, and he was standing. And I was praying. The man was just saying, "Help me, help me." And I was praying, and before you know it, I felt strength entered into him, and I held his hands and we're walking around the room. Yekosande kabanda taba. I couldn't tell how many minutes we spent there. By the time the both of us came out of that room, I saw their leader and the villagers— see, practically they fell on their faces in tears and began to magnify God. We didn't need to preach too much sermon. The entire village was saved. There is something about manifesting this life that makes evangelism faster, makes it fast. And that's why I said when I come for the next session, we're going to get into practicals. There's something God said to me. About the supernatural nature of the end-time church. So we're going to get into practical of many things. Many of you are going to speak in tongues and interpret tongues and get into prophecies, and we're going to begin to have supernatural gatherings. I didn't hear amen to that. Of course I know that this is a supernatural church. We're going to step into deeper waters. Femi Lazarus. Let me share one more story with you. One time I got a call from a family, and the man said, 'Someone told us that if you pray for me, I will be healed.' He was paralyzed, and according to him, he's been in that condition since 1980. Can't remember again. All right, so I prayed for him and cried my eyes out. He didn't get up. And I prayed for many sick people and cried my eyes out, but they didn't get healed. I'm going to tell you what every sick person I've ever prayed for that I had time with got healed. So God said to me, why not make him your project? So I will go to his house every week. I'll go to his house, share the Word of God with him, lay hands on him every week. And we did that for over 6 months, every week. One day I lost my peace. So I went to his house and something had happened. I met his daughter outside the door on the floor. She was wailing. Ah, my heart sank. Baba is dead. I got to the Parlor, he had this permanent chair. For the first time in 6 months, that chair was empty. And I saw the wife sat on the floor, put her two hands on her head. She was wailing. So I sat down there and my eyes was filled with tears. What did I do right? How did we lose him? Nobody had told me anything. And suddenly I saw the curtain open and it was Baba coming out of the room, walking on his two feet with his cup. Ha! Oh, faithless Femi Lazarus, to have thought that would have infused that much life in 6 months and he will die. What happened to you? Mama said she was trying to help him brush his teeth as usual, then he said, I think I can stand. She was like, I think I can stand. And I love the fact that no pastor was there, and he stood and by himself he took the first leg, took the second leg, and went inside. Since 1980-something, if the man at the Pool of Bethesda that has been there for 38 years can get up, we can have much more miracles. I can go go on and on and on. One day somebody was trying to drag me online. You know, some of us chop dragging for a living, and said, don't mind that useless Lazarus. He even claim he raised the dead. Yes, 8 people. It's not claim, and they are still alive. Yes. What I want to get you out of is to stop being contented with the theory and get into the manifestation of this reality. A woman had cancer. Her condition was so bad, she said to them, except you want me to die, take me to him. That's my pastor, take me to him. So thank God I traveled down to Southwest around that season, and they come and say, we are bringing her now, we've had your uncle, we are bringing her. Who was with me in the office? You were the one that was there. They brought the woman, her stomach was so swollen, and right in our presence, the legs also began to shrink. She was laughing, she said, I told you guys, take me to him. We can so host this reality that beyond just— yes, it's good to know, it's good to be saturated with the knowledge, it's good to be aware— we begin to manifest that life. Lift your hands. Say, this life is at work in me. Say it again. I want you to, if you can, just a moment, speak about that life and just speak about it meditatively, meditatively, meditatively. Hold on a minute. There's nothing normal about me. My hands are anointed. I am saturated with this glory, filled with this power. There's nothing ordinary about me. Oh, glory to God! When I step into a place, the kingdom of heaven has come. This is the life that I live. This is the life that I live. Oh, thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Come on, speak about it meditatively. This life that I have is the life of Christ in me. This life that I live is the life of God. Zoe, zoe, zoe, zoe, zoe, zoe, zoe. Zoe. This life that I have is the life of Femi Lazarus. This life that I have is the life of Zoe. Zoe. Zoe. Zoe. Zoe. Zoe. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. You know, as I spent time praying, I saw that— get me right— most of our teaching meetings. We began to teach to a point that we broke into an atmosphere, what is called Believers Meetings, where one has a hymn, another person has a psalm, one has a word from the Lord, and there is a manifestation, full manifestation of dimensions of the Spirit— words of knowledge, words of wisdom, prophecy, tongues, and interpretations, that we begin to see it much more manifested in the days to come. That God is bringing us into a place that we, we begin to display what it means to have an atmosphere of liberty of the spirit. True liberty of the spirit. True liberty of the spirit. True liberty of the spirit. We give expression to what has been locked on our inside. We give expression to it. That tongues are not just flying everywhere, but men that can interpret and bring us the counsel of the Lord. Look at what the Bible says as I wrap up. He said, and to make all men see— Ephesians 3:9— what is the fellowship of the mystery which from the beginning of the world had been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ, to the intent that now unto principalities and powers in heavenly places it might be made known by the church the manifold wisdom of God. The church is the demonstration of how wise God is. I want to show you that in other rendition Ephesians chapter number 3, verse 10. Look at what the Amplified says. He said, the purpose is that through the church, the complicated, many-sided wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to angelic rulers and authorities, principalities and powers in heavenly spheres. Oh, glory to God! God's word says he did this so that now through the church he could let rulers and authorities in heaven know his infinite wisdom. This is what God has in mind, that people will emerge and in hell they are asking, who are these ones again? And when you thought it's over for someone, you see another man, you're like What's going on? That's who we are. We are the demonstration of the wisdom of God. We are the manifestation of his power. Will you lift your hands to heaven? And see, now you've got to open your mouth and confess this reality. This is my experience from now going forward. This is my— I manifest this reality. I walk in the consciousness of it, of my divine nature. I walk in the consciousness of my divine nature. I walk in the consciousness of it. I walk in the consciousness of Femi Lazarus. Thank you, Lord. I manifest that reality from this day forward. I am conscious of who I am. I'm not confused. Thank you, Lord. We bless you, Lord Jesus. Our eyes of understanding are flooded with light. That we walk in the consciousness of the original picture you had in mind, which is Christ. We walk in this reality everywhere we step, and sicknesses bow, diseases tremble in the name of Jesus. Where there is coldness, now there is fire. Thank you, Lord Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name, God bless you. Hallelujah! Can we rejoice in the Holy Ghost? Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on! Hey, hallelujah! I know you guys know this song. I walk in the light as he is in the light. I don't walk in confusion. As is, as is. I walk in the light.
