MINISTERS AND WORKERS CONFERENCE WITH PROPHET R.O IKOTUN AND APST FEMI LAZARUS

Prophet R.O. Ikotun addresses ministers at ITAL Global Church on free will, curses, church structure, and spiritual warfare. He explains how individuals fulfill prophecy through their choices, why promoting people too quickly stresses ministry systems, and breaks down the armor of God from Ephesians 6:10-12.

To pray once and that something has changed. Praise God! Please, can we celebrate the Apostle for that wonderful— man of God, God bless you, sir. So please sit down. We are giving you just 5 minutes if you have one or two questions. Man of God, please come, sir. If you have questions, so please come and have your sister. If you have question, and we need microphone. If you have question, if you have question, please you can ask. And let's quickly do that wherever you are.
Where are you?
Question. Okay, please help him.
Praise the Lord, sir. My question is, why will God have to wait for Judah to fall before the power came? Like, why did God not interfere? Like, why was Judah able to fall before the power came?
I don't understand. Okay, thank you so much. Let's give him a big hand. That's a very powerful question. The difference between man or men and angels is that as far as a man is concerned, you have been given the power to make a decision. In Deuteronomy 30:19, God said, I call the heaven and the earth to record this day against you. They have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, but I urge you to choose life, that you may— both you and your seed may live. The choice is always there. The Bible said this prophecy needs—
must be fulfilled, but the fellow who now fulfills it is the fellow's choice.
But we saw from the life of Jesus that the original person the devil wanted was Peter. But Jesus said, I prayed for you. And when he got to Judas, he said, what you want to do, do quickly.
The question would—
could be also, why did Jesus pray for Peter and allow Judas? That's the question for another day. But someone must fulfill prophecy, whether good or bad, and it's the fellow's choice. And the same place God was when his only son was being nailed to the cross is the same place he is when people choose what they want to do. God bless you. Do you understand that? Thank you so much.
Please, if you have questions, please come, because, uh, the Apostle David Who made it to pass? No, it's not.
A curse is an authorization for the enemy to work. You're giving him license. You are summoning all forces to work at the detriment of a person. When it comes to reversing it, you need a stand with God. Let me give you an instance. If you read Deuteronomy chapter number 33, and that was when Moses was reapportioning the life of the children of Israel, it all began by connoting that Moses, the man of God— so you can't give what you don't have. You need to have a stand to now be able to reverse it. Now, another instance I will give you. You know when Jacob cursed Reuben? What he said was that you will not excel. But do you know the manifestation of that curse? It was not that he did not excel. The manifestation was that they were dying young. It is impossible for a seed of Abraham not to excel. So what happened was that before they begin to excel, they are cut off. Because what Moses said was, let Ruben live, let him not die, let his men not be few. So And that's the same thing that played out when Isaac blessed Jacob. He said, 'I can't reverse it.' Said he can't. He takes his own decision to now do whatever he wants to do with it. So when you curse, you're authorizing the devil to now reverse it. You need a stand with God, and you must rank. Do you understand that?
Thank you.
Praise the Lord. I want to ask this particular question because of some of the people here today. They are likely to become GOs tomorrow, and when this question is not asked, the same mistake may be continued. This one now refer me to a powerful statement that you made.
While you are talking, sir.
You said, and I quote, people that you made to jump the process will definitely stress the system. So that, uh, what can we do? This is the question: what can we do, sir, if I eventually— some of us say become G.O.s tomorrow, become this and that tomorrow— what can we do to prevent continuous future recurrence? Praise the Lord. That's the question.
Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. First, I will point your attention to one thing. Of all the 12 disciples of Jesus, there is only one that you can't point to when Jesus recruited him. That's Judas. You can't see it. He was just there. The most important thing is that every ministry should have a structure that determines who is what, and the structure must be higher than the emotion of the man of God. No structure is structure if it doesn't compel the head. Because if it doesn't compel the head, it means the problem that will fight the ministry will come from the head. You can just see, because as pastors we, we are loving people, can just see someone and say, ah, sir, God has said to follow you, and you just like the person. I just say, you know what, come and be my PA, and that's the person that will orchestrate How the man of God will fall. So it is important that there is the same structure that determines who becomes what, regardless of how anointed they are. If you work in Access Bank and you, you leave Access Bank and you want to go to GT, GT will not say you are a banker, so come. They will retrain you for GT. So even if you're a pastor coming here, you have to be retrained for this house once there is a structure. Everybody becomes similar. Thank you, sir.
Um, wait, I think I need to say little things about— because we have one of the workers of ITAL Global Church are here. Because you see, when you say that thing, it make meanings to me than anybody, because when we started You know, we don't do deacons and deaconess board in our church. It's not as if it has happened before, you understand? The deacons, you know— no, that's the truth. You know, that statement really, it hits me because I've done it and I'm doing it. Let me tell you I just grabbed all our usher and I bring one week to the conference and I bring fresh one, new people. They have not— in fact, one of them is first timer, you understand? She's standing there, that's her, first timer. This conference, maybe these are 7th days in this church. But do you know what I told my wife? I said, after this conference We still need more. I was telling the resident pastor, I said, we need more training. These people need to know more about this house. Listen, that stressing of system— I've learned how they stress our system and the system eventually collapse severely. Okay, when we train people, we train people for— what I did for this usher is that I trained them for 3 days. In fact, somebody even rose and said, 3 days is too much. I said, do you know what you're talking about? She— that lady told me that she was, she was in training for one year in another church. I don't want to mention name, but God told her, be going to Hightower, they need usher. And when she came, she came for the first time and she was hearing me saying, I scrapped all this usher and I need greenwashers. You understand? Now we need to understand this. I know this: the place of training is different from the place of the voice of God. And I preached a message a long time ago: the voice of God is not enough. Samuel didn't recognize that voice when he was calling him. Oh, Samuel, he ran to his boss. Because that's another thing. If God is speaking to you in the voice of apostle, it's not God. If you must hear anything that has to do with the voice, it has to be— imagine one of the apostle boys go and say, sir, I just heard the voice of Prophet Eko saying to me that I should go and start a ministry. That voice looked like Prophet Eko's voice. That's rebellious. So I want to use this opportunity to tell you that if we— we have a system, but if we now bend the system for you, if you stress it, you are stressed. We will stress you too by uproot you. I've made up my mind to uproot some of the people in the church who are stressing the system. I've done it before. That was the time I collapsed the choir. Nothing happened. My wife go back to keyboard. She's an instrumentalist. She play keyboard, she plays saxophone. So when we don't have keyboardist, go and sit down there, play. Kole come and play. I will look for somebody in my house sing. Praise God, there is a replacement. So please, that word have hit me. I'm telling you, it has really, really hit me hard. And if you let people abuse me for what I've done, olo ada. Because no, that's the truth. You will, you will eventually— because I know, you see, my pastors, all of them, when Apostle made that statement, I look at all of them, I see that, I say, ah, thank you, sir, thank you, sir. In the meeting, they will still refer to the matter. Remember the Apostle said something, and that's what is happening now. That's why those new people, don't let it happen. God will help you.
I have to speak English. Can someone help me interpret? So in Ephesians 6:10, it's talking about finally, brethren, put on the whole armor of God and all that. Having done all, to stand. All right, can you project that scripture quickly? Yeah, Ephesians 6:10. Yes, I want us to read it. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. All right, verse 11, put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Now the word there is kajak alagbaranilo nuwa, be strong in the Lord, and then in the power of his might. They went on to tell us how to put it on, how to be strong. Now said, wear God's armor. Don't go in your frame, go wearing God's armor. But when you look at those armor, they don't look like armor that brings strength. Helmets of salvation, breastplate of righteousness. The belt of truth, the sword of the Spirit, the shoe of the gospel.
Why?
And that's where the wisdom of God comes in. If we understand these things— I can break it down bit by bit to take our time, all right? A believer must not lose consciousness of the fact that is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. He must have a shoe that is sadhu, preaching the truth of the gospel. He must be girt with correct doctrine. That's the belt of truth. He must understand how to wield the word as the sword of the spirit. He must be crowned with salvation. He's saved. If all these things are intact, the Bible said you are strong. You know how to use the word of God. You understand that you are righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You have balanced doctrine. You are going about preaching the truth of the gospel, you are strong. He said it is when we have done this that we're able to stand against the word 'wiles.' There is the word deception, strategies. In fact, the word 'wiles' there is the word methodia. That's the word there, the methodology, the methods of the devil. So we're able to stand against it. So if we do these things, brings us back to the place of teaching and practicing what we're hearing. Teaching, correct teaching. A believer is saved, element of salvation. Understands the righteousness of God, that he is— not that I will be righteous, I am already righteous— carries the word of God. And then the shield of faith. Sorry, I forgot to mention that. It's a whole series on its own. But once those cons— those knowledge are equipped in the believer according to God's wisdom, he is strong. God bless you, man.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you. Praise the Lord. I'm sure we are blessed. Can we rise and celebrate the Apostle for that? Is that how— is that how you can do that? Let's celebrate the Apostle. Lift your hands and magnify the name of the Lord. Lift your hands, just appreciate him. He's worthy to be praised. He's worthy to be praised. Give him praise. Just worship him. Magnify him. Magnify him. Magnify, give him praise.
Thank him for the word that you have received this morning. Thank you for the insight, for the inspiration, for the impartation. Thank him, for in Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. I pray for you this morning. That which you have received will not fall off your life in the name of Jesus. It shall be fruitful. It will grow and germinate and bring forth, forth fruits in the name of Jesus. So shall it be in Jesus' name we pray. We are rounding up now. We are going to say the closing prayer, but please, all the workers of I-Tower Global Church, kindly wait behind. Daddy has a word for each and every one of us. So if you are not part of the workforce, please, you can leave after the prayer. Do we understand? Father, we appreciate you for this morning. Thank you for opening our heaven. Thank you for opening the eyes of our hearts. Thank you for giving us this insight. We return all the glory to you. Father, we pray, as you have equipped us and you have sent us into the world among the wolves, we pray, Lord, that we shall not be devoured. In the name of Jesus, that which we have received, we shall be able to use it to get more souls for you. In the name of Jesus.
