Worship is the spirit's response to God, not just ritual or routine. Jesus taught in John 4 that true worship happens in spirit and truth. Modern busyness crowds it out, but you can reclaim it through spontaneous praise and sacrifice, not a packed schedule.

Worship is the correct response of your spirit to the move of God. In John 4, Jesus spoke to the woman by the well of Samaria, said, you worship ye know not what, but we know what we worship. He said, the hour cometh that you never have to worship God on that mountain, on this mountain, for God is a spirit, and they that worship him do so in spirit and truth. So worship is a spiritual thing. You are worshiping when your spirit responds accordingly. For instance, you are dancing, you are praising, but suddenly you notice there's a move in the spirit, so roll on the floor. When you respond, that's worship. Worship is Putting him first. That's correct response. Worship is living a life of sacrifice. Many people have become too familiar with what God is doing. When we were growing up, they used to— we used to play all these cassettes on Sunday morning. You hear it buzzing in the house, huh? In the days of those, um, red thing that has lights. Gen Zs, don't worry, you connect the thing. When was the last time you played music and danced? You have become so busy. Any job that takes that time from you has taken too much.
