Let me tell you something, this year I have rejoiced. This year I have wept. This year we have welcomed— I've welcomed new borns, and this year I have mourned. But one thing remains sure, even in the midst of all this, God is worthy to be praised. My years of ministry, there's been times that somebody came into my— or comes into my office and is weeping from beginning till the end. Someone has gone home for the Lord. And as the fellow is leaving the office, another one is coming to break the news of either visa application— you remember one of those days like that— or a newborn baby. How do you find a balance in the midst of all this? There is just one constant. God is good. In Psalms 100, he said, know ye not that it is he who has made us, we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. He is good. It may not feel pleasant, but he's good. He's merciful and kind. He's long-suffering. Is abundant in goodness. That's what the Bible says. Exodus chapter number 33 is abundant in goodness and truth. He said keeping mercy from generation to generations. Moses said, how do I lead these great people if you fail to reveal yourself to me? He said, I cannot go forward. The Lord said, Moses, no man can see me and live. He said, I'm going to hide you in the cleft of the rock and cause my goodness to pass in front of you. And the Bible said the Lord took him, kept him in the cleft of the rock, and the Lord covered his face. And the Lord passed, and the Lord proclaimed the name of the Lord, saying, the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious. Long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy from generations to generations. It doesn't make sense all the time, but he's God. So, and I'm saying this because I don't know where you are worshiping from this morning. For someone, it may be that your belly is filled For someone else, maybe that you've not found food. For someone, it may be that doors are opening. For another person, maybe that you are still waiting. For someone else, already in view. For another person, there is still sense of despair. There is just one constant in the midst of all this. What is the constant? The Lord is good. You are good, you are kind, you are more than these. Lost for words. Oh yes. There is nothing you cannot do. There's no mountain you cannot move. Once you have said it, and you will do it. You have a track record of keeping your word. You're not about to stop doing it now. Oh Lord, you are mighty. Oh Lord, mighty. Lift your voice. And blessing. Oh, we thank you, Father. None can match with you in class. We are so grateful. We are so grateful. We are so grateful. There comes a time in a man's life that looks like, um, the situation in front of the man, there's nothing else that can be done. There's such a case in Exodus chapter number 14. And, um, hope you also know that in John 5, when the man at the pool of Bethesda said, 'I have no man,' what that means is that everyone concluded that he would die. You don't leave a man you know his condition will change. They just felt it's over. Is past the season where change can catch up. There's a way God likes to go for what is hopeless, that when men have discovered, when they have, when they've seen that they could, they can go no further, in that is the excellency of God manifested. Light is beautiful when it is dark. In Exodus chapter number 14, The Israelites had left Egypt. Pharaoh was pursuing, and the Bible said in verse 10, Exodus 14:10, and when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes and did what? And behold, the Egyptians marched after them, and they were so afraid. And the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord, and they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? You see, before you— you know, sometimes I try not to read the Bible from a judgmental perspective. I try my best to, you know, they don't have the Holy Ghost. You can say, ah, this guy is saved, they have allies too much, except that you have seen that God parted the Red Sea. They were standing in front of a miracle that is about to happen that there is no reference point in human history for. No reference. No reference. So nobody sees it coming. The kind of miracle you are not seeing coming, you walk into it. They said, is this not what we told you in Egypt? Let us die, oh, let us, let us serve the Egyptians. Yeah, it's better for us to serve the Egyptians. Look at what Moses said in verse 13. And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord which he will show you today. For the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. In verse 14 says, the Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. Fight for you how? With women and children? With staffs using rearing cattle. Nobody— what he was saying was trash as far as they were concerned. What are you talking about? I said, let's go back to Egypt. Let them meet us halfway, that we already returned. Egypt, ah, we are halfway, bro. Halfway. If anyone stayed that day, it was either God will show up or you die. There comes a time like that. And God said to Moses, wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak to the children of Israel that they do what? Go forth. There are mountains that will not move move till you move. There are mountains that will be lifted and cast to the sea that you pass. There are mountains that it is when you take that step of faith that they will move. And he told Moses, stretch your rod over the sea and divide it. Let me tell you something, it reminds me of a story I saw, just this beautiful story, a painting at a museum I was sharing that. Yes, a painting at a museum of two entities playing chess, the devil and a young man. And according to the painting on the board, on that's the, the chessboard now, it was checkmate. So the title of the painting is Checkmate. Checkmate means the devil was laughing, the guy was in despair. Was in despair. The devil was winning. People come to that museum year in, year out. Wow, look at this painting. These are the devil defeats people. Till a chess master came, and when the rest were moving across the museum, he stood there, was looking at the board. He looked at it. They were saying, sir, we have to go to see, go and talk No, he kept on staring at the game and said he has an objection. He said, you know I'm a chess grandmaster. I said, yes. So I don't see what the rest are seeing. He said, yes. He said, from what I see on this board, the king still has one more move. Wow, still has one more move. Wow. He said, so you either either change the painting or change the title. This is not checkmate. You know, you might find yourself in a situation, it looks like the devil is checkmating you. I make bold to announce the king still has one more move. I think we should put this everywhere. The king still has one more move.

I remember a season in my life, I'll be crying and walking on the road. For how much? How much did I need? I'll be asking myself, will a man like me ever have joy in life? What was the issue? No money. But when everything is scattered, everything looks this, this, this, this, God is looking at it, he has it figured out already. It may be scattered in your own sight, it's not scattered in God's sight. They didn't know that the sea they were— who would you have been looking at a sea and believe that that's about to become your express road? That raging sea they were seeing, that was where they were going to cross over. Lift your voice, say, Lord, I choose to believe you that it doesn't end here. It can't end here. Whether you are sick, whether you are trusting God for anything, lift your voice and decree, I believe you, Jesus. It would end there. I believe you, Jesus. There's been consecutive order of losses. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I decree consecutive order of increase, consecutive order of multiplication. In the name of Jesus. The first testimony this morning goes thus. Good morning, Apostle, says people of God. Join me in praising my God, the God of Apostle Femi Lazarus. So I finished my master's in 2024, but I haven't been able to get a job that comes with a work-sponsored visa yet. So I had to go back to school for a doctoral program. The program I was admitted to somehow didn't come with funding, and I couldn't afford the tuition at all. So I have been applying to scholarships, fellowships, and graduate assistantships. I haven't— I have sent several emails, I beg your pardon, but wasn't able to get one. I had been praying about it and keen to testimonies on PPC and the Holy Ghost experience. She says, while listening to testimony some weeks ago, I don't know if it was something the testifier said, but suddenly occurred to me to email a professor. I once worked for as a teaching assistant, even though I wasn't admitted to her department for my doctoral program. Says she initially responded that she would have to consider her students first, but if there was anyone who couldn't accept the position, she would reach out to me. That was about 1 or 2 weeks ago. This afternoon— somebody says this afternoon, hallelujah— this afternoon, after praying, I decided to check my email, and lo and behold, I received an email from her offering me the position. Says this position guarantees that most of my tuition will be paid by university, at least for this semester. I just want to give God all the praise. Can we say thank you, Jesus? Oh, who is this God that makes impossibilities possible? Can we just take a moment and say thank you, Lord? And as many that are trusting God for this kind, even as you came to— he came by faith to this testimony, I see the Lord bringing yours in the name of Jesus. All right, the next testimony this morning reads, good Good morning, Apostle, and my beloved PPC family. Our God is indeed a faithful God. Says, I'm here to return all the glory to him for his marvelous works in the life of my husband. Every prophetic declaration made by Apostle from the 21st of July was truly for him. My husband had attempted the UK practical driving test 3 times in the past, but all to no avail. Another attempt was scheduled for the 22nd of July. With unwavering faith, we fasted, prayed, and fully keyed into the prophetic words spoken by Apostle, especially when he declared, those of you who have views this week receive help. It will be a week of marvelous opportunities and tremendous help. Says, that which has been delayed, take delivery of them. Says, people of God, I'm here to testify that the God of PPC came through for us. On Tuesday, the 22nd of July, my husband passed his practical driving test and was finally issued his permanent UK driver's license, a long-awaited breakthrough. Says, the joy of that day completely overshadowed the sorrow of past disappointment. Truly, when God shows up, he wipes away every trace of shame. Can we say thank you? I see the Lord showing up for someone and wiping away every trace of shame in the name of Jesus. Just take a moment and say thank you, Jesus. What an amazing testimony! Just bless the Lord for this amazing testimony. Hallelujah! All right, the final testimony I'll be taking this morning for want of time, um, goes thus: Good morning, Apostle and PPC family. My name is Victoria and I'm here to testify that testimonies indeed have the ability to replicate themselves. Oh Yes, says, I have heard testimonies of people who keyed into people's testimony about, especially about menstrual cramps, and I prayed about mine too because at that time the pain— for— because at times, he says, the pain can be so much that I'll have to take pills and I'll be inactive throughout the day. So I didn't even notice that I didn't feel menstrual pain for 2 to 3 months until someone shared a testimony about it, and I just realized that I didn't I didn't feel menstrual cramps for the past 2 to 3 months, so I decided to wait for the next one so I can confirm. To the glory of God, there is no more menstrual cramps. Can we say thank you? Indeed, the blessing of God makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. Can we say thank you, Lord, for this testimony? And as many that are trusting God for this kind, I see that as you key into these testimonies, God is bringing yours to bear quickly in the name of Jesus. Many have asked, how do I give my life to Christ? I want to make it very, very simple and introduce you today to the person of Jesus. Paul, speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 from verse 1, said, I deliver unto you the gospel that you have received and also believed and wherein you stand. How that Christ came and died for our sins according to scriptures, and he was buried according to scriptures, and he rose on the third day according to the scriptures. When he died, he died for our sins. When he was buried, he was buried, and the Bible said he went into the lower part of the earth and set the captives free. And when he rose on the third day, he rose for our justification. And now we are seated with Christ far above principalties and powers. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this, whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord. I'd like to lead you to Christ, and that is exactly why I'm here this morning. You want to say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins.
