It is wrong. There's a danger. Um, an average Nigerian that complained about false prophet, um, Um, is so because most of them, they have lived in such a way where there is a way they are predetermined. God must show up, um, worship should be certain period of time, anything beyond that and they are not raising the prayers that concerns me, that must be a waste of time for me, I'm out of here. That's the mentality of the average person. And what the devil does is that he, he craft out, all right, individuals that will deceive people based on the deceitfulness of their heart. Are you following what I'm saying here? It is very important, all right. So it is, it is the mentality of the average Nigerian Christian that if God should come in this way, if God should do things that way, then 'God must be wasting my time.' And you know, it is a very faulty way of thinking. Are you following what I'm saying here? It is a very faulty way of thinking. We, we, when we come to the place of worship, to the place of prayer, you see, God can be ministered to. God should be ministered to. And even that is not a waste of your precious time. Don't forget that the same person you are tired of praising is the one you want to ask for everything. Are you following what I'm saying here? So it is very, very important. One of the things that God needs, that Nigerian church needs, are teachers that will not be carried away by the praise song of the people but will do the will of God regardless of how people feel.

What I've said, you need to to listen, particularly for ministers, you know, who somehow seem to be in a place of observation. Ah, regardless, don't dance to the tune of a generation. And he said unto me, prophesy unto these these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the words of the Lord. Thus says the Lord unto the bones, behold, I cause breath to enter into you. Now don't forget where this scripture started from, was from the place of a man's relationship with God, that I was in the spirit, all right, that is relating with God, and the hand of God came upon me in the course of doing that.

Now listen, the mistake we make.

It's a dangerous one because you wonder and try to investigate the reason why it seems like many people's prayers are not being answered.

It's a mistake.

People most times just want God answer my prayer, I'm out of here.

Answer my prayer, I'm out of your life. Answer my prayer, I don't have any business waking up in the morning. It begins with a relationship relationship. What God wants to give you is more than an answer to prayer. What God wants to give you is fatherhood. He wants to relate with you. Oh God, pay my debt, I'm out of here. Oh God, raise me an helper, I'm out of here.

So we, we, we, we see this transactional relationship with God which has proven to be destructive.

It is one of the top reasons why many people's prayers are not answered, because whatever it is they are doing is void void of love.

It is one of the reasons why many people's prayers remain unanswered.

Why? Because everything they do, it doesn't matter how much they shout, it is void of love. It is just another callous attempt to use God and disappear. Ah no, this year our relationship with God must go deeper than that. And you see people that you don't have— you do not believe have certain tendencies and certain The moment God just break through for them, bam!

The Nigerian church must do better. The Nigerian church must do better. People have raised their voice and spoken about fake pastors, fake this. It's time for you to get the alarm of fake believers. Oh God, give me this. I'm not interested in you, just give me an amount of to be here. And that's why if God is not— if it seems not to be happening on time in church, part of the options many in church still have are herbalists. I've seen people cry about this and that, and I was looking at them. I know that if this person doesn't get this result, part of this person's option is an herbalist also. The pastor is just number one. Ah no, we must grow beyond give me. We must come into that relationship with God. We must come to that place where we genuinely love God for who he is, not for what he gives. Is somebody being blessed this morning? So that— see, that's why I'm, I'm saying this again. This particular morning prayer is not actually transactional, as it were. It is to help believers come to learn the place of prayer and intimacy. Part of what happens is that we also receive, but bulk of What happened is that we minister unto the Lord.

You must understand that. It will interest you to know that many of the testimonies in church, part of the options they have is an abalist.

They are only testifying in church because God did it first.

I know it's bad, it's bad.

Oh God, give me a child, give me a child now. You have 3 months to give me this child. If you don't give me this child, if he doesn't give you, what will you do?

So you are saying you are one of my options. Just so you know, you are not that important. And if you don't give me this now, by that time, you see, I know what I'm going to do. I'm just here just to respect you and this, that, that, because I had— so it doesn't look like I went out first.

And we see such level of desperation that what we call false prophet and false apostles and false teachers cash out on.

They cash out big time because of the desperation of many believers. The Nigerian church must come to the place of repentance. The Nigerian church must come to the place of repentance, aggressive repentance. Even the way we approach God, uh, God, this, this, this 21 days fast, you want— ah, no, no, you are not going to get anything getting done that way. The more you know him, the more you know that he is Lord, and you don't lord over a lord. You wait for his timing, you pray, but understand that you cannot engineer him as against his timing. Is somebody following what I'm saying here? Very, very important. So we must go beyond beyond the transactional approach. We must come to the place of genuine intimacy. God, I trust you this year for a future partner, but I know if it still doesn't happen this year, it doesn't make you less of God next year. You are still the same God. The God in the valley is still the God in the mountain. The God when he's good is still the God when it's trying times.

I honor and recognize you, and I will wait for you till you alone bring breakthrough for me.

And just in case I don't sound like— I want you to know I have no Plan B and no other option.

This is the life I've chosen. It is either you or you.

No one else will fill in the space. That is the life we have received. Is somebody following what I'm saying here? This is very important before we begin to pray, because I sense this strongly in my spirit.

Before we begin to ask this morning. Can we come to the place of repentance? Anyone, maybe you came here, this, this, you already getting tired, say nobody know. No, no, no, no, no. Can we come to the place of repentance? Now you understand the reason why Abraham was called the father of faith. Look at the years he waited. Let's come to that place of repentance and say, Father, I'm sorry. Beyond what I'm asking for, I want to know you. I refuse to sum you up in those things.

I refuse to have just conventional transactional relationship with you. I want to relate with you, daughter to father, son to father.

These are prayers we should actually pray loud.

Yes, I want to have deep relationship with you, not just the random stuffs of— no, no, no, no.

God wants to give you more than all those things you are asking for. He wants to give himself, and he knows. In Jesus' name we're praying.

Now listen, listen, do you know how artfully it is to know you are a person of influence and you know, um, everyone that comes around you just want to use you and go.

It's not like you are that important. Nobody really intends to have long-term relationship with you.

Everybody just want to have something brief and then be able to get their own piece of the cake and also disappear. God is not a piece of national cake or some global cake that we just want to get a piece of. He is more than the things you are asking for.

He wants to relate with you. Don't be a Christian that part of those on queue for the things you want to do are herbalists and strange kind of prophets. I know what to do, this plan A, and I'm doing this between now so and so much. If it doesn't happen, I know where to turn. I came from a village, and in that village we have some deities. And just so you know, this, this, this, I will just go to my village and and come back. And when you, when you are done saying that, you say God, as we're saying, Father, in the name of Jesus. Huh, you put God in the same pedestal that you put graven images. Are you seeing the reason why people complain every blessed day and ask, and it looks as though God is on Sabbath practical leave because they approach God with a defective mind. They don't even know God.

Our basis for seeking must go beyond transaction.

Our basis for seeking must go beyond give me. Our basis for seeking must be because he is God. He that cometh to him must first believe that he is, then he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him, not them that want want something. No, them that diligently seek him. Not them that want money. No, not them that want wife. No, not them that want husband. No, not them that want children. No, them that diligently seek him for who he is.

We must understand that. When we understand this, we will get more results. God, I love you for who you are. I will spend bulk of time in the place of prayer for who you are, not just about what I want. Not a transaction, not a transaction. I'm not trying to transact with you. And we do this and play. We have many pastors and many prophets and men. So what, what we do is that people just choose the one that is convenient here, the one that is convenient there, the one that you look at the life, there's no commitment anywhere whatsoever. It's very serious. And unfortunately so, um, as long as this is working for us as pastors, we seem to enjoy it. I'm a man that God has blessed with different kind of people, and I'm telling you that humbly. And in this I still insist, anything you have whatsoever is a waste as long as what you seek for is transaction with God, not a relationship with him. And I'm, I'm telling you this, I'm telling you this, we need to understand that. Is somebody being blessed this morning? Lift your hands where you are and say, Father, I love you for who you are. Yes, I love you for who you are, not just for what you want to give me. No, I love you for who you are. I love you for who you are. I love you for who you are. I love you for who you are. I love you for who you are, in the name of Jesus. Now listen, one of the things that must show that you are ready for a commitment is that— or for a relationship with God— is that you are living a life life of commitment. Are you aware there are people now that as, as their favorite church and their favorite pastors are fasting January, they have, they have parted, they have second favorite. Those ones will start fasting maybe, let's say, let's say July.

As those ones start fasting, they go back again, you see.

And then just select where it is easiest, where it is easiest.

The church announced we give first fruit every year, every beginning of the year.

They join the crowd and insult the pastor and bash him on social media and come back later once they have gone to and say, I still believe that you are my man of God. However, that first food thing, I'm not in. You see how we cherry-pick? And even God knows, I know these days, these days, do the people have gathered not because they desire the word, but because they had bread that was multiplied yesterday? It is the tale of the Nigerian church, how deeply false many believers have become.

The trauma that is plaguing the church, because people are quick to lay hands and say, look at that pastor. And even those of us that are blessing lives, as much as we are blessing life, many of them are waiting one day. So we are waiting for the first person that will have an evil report about him.

Now lie.

And if what you call evil report is the fact that one day I will say things you don't like, then that day soon. Many people think that we ride on the accolades of men, that, oh, there's one Apostle, he's a blessing. Ah, this is going to the 16th year of doing this. We have not so learned faith. There is a, there is a goalpost and there's a standard. We have not come to excite a generation but to show them the true God. We may come to their level and bring bring them up. They must not remain in that level.

Are you following what I'm saying here? Do you understand what I'm saying? Very important.

People don't understand certain things. We need to wake up. The Nigerian church needs to wake up.

Many of you now love prophetic prayer contact. I I love it.

I'm here to pray, but you see that fasting thing, sincerely, I'm not for it.

When you say, okay, but when it comes to this one, I know I'm not there.

And we look at our lives, we have absolutely no commitment anywhere, just try to play smart, transaction, transaction, transaction, transaction. And many pastors don't even know. That they are just part of those games that the Nigerian church plays. I've seen people come to reach me and say things like, we pray, pray, God said we should bring you. I said no, no, I didn't share that belief. My friend will share me the same mail they shared, that God, you are the one God said we should bring. Just bulk of games.

What I'm telling you is so true.

I mean, you may feel it is wrong, but it's so true, and I'm telling you the facts.

Maybe if you—

people are waiting for the day that Pastor Lazarus will say something that people will not like and they are going to drag him. That day is so close.

We are here to teach the whole council.

There are two sides to the coin. It is an entire council. It is an entire counsel. Sometimes it pierces you, sometimes it suits you. It doesn't matter what it is. You don't get to pick how an injection reacts in your body. It is the nature of the injection that decides. Are you following what I'm saying here?

I said, 'You know what, take this scripture, go on 3 days dry,' and you see the person will never return. And I, 'Ah, I thought you wanted the solution that much.' You see that now? We want solutions without having to labor. No, no, this prayer is the prayer we pray throughout out today. We focus on Ezekiel 37, calling forth the things that have left back to their place, back to their place. Where did the breath go? Come back! Let wind blow! Let bones come to bones! Let there be noise again!

Are you following what I'm saying? Now listen, the Lord is saying that there are experiences many of you used to have in certain dimension, like experiences of favor, experiences of help. Before the need shows up, God has raised somebody to help. And it looks as though a time came like you were weaned from favor. When I mean weaned, I mean the way a child will be weaned from breast milk of the mother. It looks like, it looks like you became so much of age that you grew outside the confines, that you were weaned from favor, from divine help. And from that moment, you begin to do things by yourself in your own human attempt. No. Say, Lord, I refuse to be weaned off favor. I plug myself back.

Begin to mention the goodness you used to enjoy that looks as though somehow they ceased. I refuse to be weaned off favor.

Before you give testimony about any resources, investigate again where it is coming from. I see somebody being arrested and the person is saying, I'm not the only one. We carry this person too. Before you give testimony about any resources, be careful where it is coming from. I don't know you, but I'm seeing something like this happening. Go back and investigate. Are you following what I'm saying here? I decree and declare the hand of God rest upon you in the name of Jesus. In this season, you see the kind of results you have not seen in any aspect of your life before. And you enjoy the mercies of God. In the name of Jesus, it is well with you. In the name of Jesus. Now listen, listen, before I wrap up that prayer, if you are under the sound of my voice this morning and you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, I told you it is beyond the transaction of just wanting to pray. Much more, he wants to put you under his shadows. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadows of of the Almighty. He wants to make you his own. He's not just a Father Christmas that gives. No, no, he wants to give you more than those things. He wants to give his life. You want to accept the life of Jesus Christ this morning? I beg you in the name of Jesus, don't procrastinate. Tomorrow actually may be too late, and it's not a threat.

A lot of things can happen. While that is not the gospel, it is also not a threat.

It is a reality. Are you following what I'm saying here? I beg you, in the name of Jesus Christ, wherever you are, put your hands on your chest and say these words after me. You know, you have been living a life, hurting your family, taking women, doing all sorts of things. Your wife is hurt, your children are hurt, you don't know what is going on.

Rededicate your life to Jesus now. It's a recommitment. See, there's no doctrine against rededication. That doesn't mean that you have lost the first one. It shows that you need to come back home. Rededicate your life now. Your family is wounded. People are bruised because of you. The life you are living does not show one who goes to church. Rededicate your life this morning. He wants to have fresh relationship with you.

The story of Jacob who said, by my rod I have passed through Jordan, but now the Lord has made me two bands. You will remember how that recently God sent us to Abuja in what I will call the Most Humble Movement. We came practically trusting God for what to do next and how he's going to help us with the words of prophecies he has given to us about the city and the armies arising. And guess what? God is doing just that. Recently we have been seeing the move of God in the most unbelievable way possible, with his word reaching the unreached, converting sinners to saints, bringing people who have lost hope in Church, and now this has necessitated the need for expansion so that we do not fall out of what God is doing. Where we are currently is stringent for us, with rules that will limit what God is doing amongst us. The gospel is free, but the propagation requires a lot of funding. We want our friends, partners, and everyone connected to our ministry to join us as we take this project together. We have the urgent need to expand, and we believe that this is the kairos moment for us to do that. We are importing our own tent all the way from China and getting everything needed to fill that space and have a conducive place where we can have our apostolic work beyond what we are having now at the moment.
