By their own strength. Meaning that while the fathers were leaving the scene, they made sure to tell the next generation that, well, instead of having a platform or whatever it is, a ceremony where you celebrate us for bravery, maybe from breaking free from Pharaoh, or bravery from whatever it is. They were telling their children that all those things happened by the strength of the Lord, not by their strategy. Say, for they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them, but your right hand, even your arm, and the light of your countenance permanence because you had favor with them. Praise God! We understand. I might see some results here and there in my life, but I acknowledge the fact that it's not by my works, not by my abilities, but because God showed up. Zechariah 4:6 says, not by might nor power, but by my spirit, says who? The Lord. Let's give him praise this this morning. He deserves the lifting up of our hands again. Let's worship him. I think I remember I showed you a text yesterday showing you about consciousness and the way it affects our lives. I showed you Genesis chapter number 4, very interesting scripture full of drama. Cain had killed his brother Abel with the sword. I'm sorry, whatever, he killed him. And God came down and told him the consequence of what he had done to his brother. Now God said, thou art cursed from the earth. Now why is it that both the blessing and curses are conveyed through words? You know why? Because the both of them needs your consciousness. Thou art cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand. When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto you in her strength. A fugitive and a vagabond shall you be in the earth. And Cain said unto the Lord, my punishment is greater than I can bear. And behold, thou hast driven me out this day from thy face, from the face of the earth, and from your face will I be hid. And I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth. And it shall come to pass that everyone that finds me wants to slay me. That's it, that's it. So I've always mentioned something there. When a man is functioning under the blessing, everyone that finds the man wants to do him good. When a man is functioning under a curse, everyone that finds the man wants to hurt the person, wants to afflict the person, wants to do something bad to the person. And that's, that's not the life that God has made available for us. We are blessed. So I showed you yesterday that the man Cain, even in his fallen state, knew. He knew that the only way for a man not to be productive, for the earth not to yield for the man in his strength, the only way that can happen is for the countenance of God to be shut away from the man. Now look at, look at, um, this scripture, um, Psalms 80 from verse 1. And I'm going to show you Psalms 81. Psalms 80, verse 1. Then I'll show you Psalms— I'll show you some verses in Psalm 80, then we'll go to Psalm 81. He said, give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock Thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth. Oh, glory to God. Now I'm leading you into consciousness. Say it loud and clear: the glory of God is shining upon my life. Say it again: the glory of God is shining upon my life.

It means once we're in the atmosphere where that glory is shining, there's bound to be productivity. You must meditate on it, think on it, grasp it. Let it, let it take hold of your heart. Let it become what you think, what you dream, what, what, what, what, what you see. Let it become your obsession. That's the way it works.

Glory to God. Let me look at it. Oh boy, that same Psalms 80:17, it said, let your hand be upon a man of your right hand, upon the son of man whom you made strong for yourself. Hope you know these are scriptures to meditate upon. Oh, the hand of God is strong upon me. The hand of God is heavy upon me. The hand of God is real upon me.

It is my reality. Everywhere good things work. You see, listen to what I'm saying.

We, we thank God for, you know, the kind of prayer we pray.

Oh Father, in the name of Jesus, I receive. We thank God for that, but the reason why we don't break into those things God wants us to break into is because we are not conscious.

We are not conscious of those things. And I told you, consciousness is deepened through meditation. Oh, glory to God! The hand of God is heavy upon my life. Now listen, you are, you are helping yourself. The hand of God is heavy upon my life. Oh yes, I can't fall, fall down suddenly.

No way, no way.

The hand of God is heavy upon my life. Everywhere I step, the glory of God is there. Glory to God.

The hand of God is heavy upon my life. Everything I do works. Look at this, let me show you. Psalms 80— Psalms 81. Psalms 81. Let's start the reading from verse, verse 10. Psalms 81 from verse 10. Psalms 81 from verse 10. I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt. Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it. But look at verse 11, said, but my people will not hearken to my voice, and Israel will none of me. One of the ways our lives make strategic progress is to be taught in a way that we know how to respond to the impulse of the Spirit part-time. Knowing how to respond to the impulse of the Spirit part-time is so important. Like I said, based on my observation, I saw that many believers, many people want certain things from God but not relationally.

It doesn't work. It's the reason why we pray so much and we have become— we have been reproached and scorned because it just doesn't work. It doesn't work. You can break into a few things here and there once in a while, but you don't know what key open what door. You, you won't get consistent results. One of the most important training a believer must have is the training to respond to the impulse of the Spirit part-time. Because the duty of the Holy Ghost is to guide you into the will of the Father, is to guide you into your ordained blessings. A baker want an Isaac but doesn't want to feed the camel. It doesn't work. And I'm showing you because I'm burdened. The reason why we hold prayers is, is so that we can learn God and our lives can change. But it doesn't work the way we want to do it, do that. What that is going to make us is that we're going to have quite some beggarly Christians who keep pursuing God for some things and not getting the result. Look at it. He said, but my people would have hearkened to my voice. Psalms 81:11. And Israel would none of me. He said, because they will not do that, look at it. He said, so I gave them up to their own heart's lust. They walked on in their own counsels. How many people are praying a prayer platform that God has left for themselves? There are 3, 3 major signs that your life is about to change. 3 major signs that your destiny is about to shift. 3 major signs. Number 1, once there's an impulse to pray longer, once there's an impulse to pray more than you've ever prayed before, that's a sign your life is about to enter a radical shift. But once that impulse comes to pray more and fast more, if you If you kill it, you miss the season. Listen, the law will never expect a supply— it will never create a demand where there is no supply. So what it does is it creates an hunger. It creates an unusual ability to fast more, to pray more. That's what it does. As you— as you— and I'm saying this with so much burden because my life has shifted by responding to the impulse of the Spirit.

As it does that, something is going to shift in your life as you respond to it, because as you respond to that impulse the hunger, the zeal to pray more.

And now as you pray, listen, as you pray, you will now be breaking into some light.

Let me show you. There are texts we have to pay attention to. What was Daniel doing in the book of Daniel chapter number 10? He set himself to fast and pray for 21 days. For what?

Light. Let me give you a secret.

If you ask for what you should seek, you won't get it. You ask, it will be given to you. You seek and you will find. There are things that they are in the realm of finding.

Waiting. So you seek for them, you wait on God, you tarry. Because God is complaining here that the reason why they couldn't enter his promises is because they were not responding to him.

We might pray every day and God is saying, I've tried to help you, but you just won't respond. The hunger to pray more is a sign a new season about to be better. Because as soon as Zion travails, she brings forth.

Number 2 is the hunger or an unusual urge of the spirit or nudge of the spirit to sacrifice. When the Spirit of God is moving you in the direction of sacrifice, is a sign that you're about to shift. Look at the woman that the prophet met who had just a meal with her son and died.

There was a demand there because God already sent a supply. I want us to cut off this notion about God as a user. It's too too big. The third sign that your season is about to change is when all of a sudden you begin to notice opposition everywhere. The devil is attacking something you have not picked. These are major pointers. But God is complaining here. Look at it. He said, my people will not hearken to my voice, and Israel would none of me. Every time God put a burden in your heart, a nudge or an instruction, and you let it die without doing it, you've aborted a season.

He says, so I gave them up in their own heartlust and they walk on their own counsel. Look at it.

This is a very serious scripture.

Don't forget it.

Psalms 81, he said, oh, that my people had hearkened to me and Israel had walked in my ways. He said, if they have done that, that I should soon have subdued their enemies and turned my hand against their adversaries. That is, they would have gotten victory on every side.

He said, but they won't do it. He said the haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him.

That's Israel now. But their time should have endured forever. Now that's in the area of victory. He said, if they have hearkened to me also, verse 16 now says, I would have fed them also with the finest of wheat.

That's a serious one. And with honey out of the rock, should I have satisfied you?

Wow.

There's this song I want us to put online, um, There Shall Be Showers of Blessing. There shall be showers of blessing. I want to get the lyrics. Oh yes, there shall be showers of blessing. Thank you, Lord. Everyone get it, put it on the screen for us. We're all going to sing it. Pay attention to the wordings. Don't mind my voice, they sent me out of the choir years ago. So there shall be blessings, this is the promise of Lord There shall be seasons refreshing sent from the Savior above. Showers of blessings, showers of blessings we need. Mercy drops round us are falling. But for the showers we plead, there shall be showers, there shall be showers of blessings, precious reviving again. Over the hills and the valleys, sounds of abundance of rain, showers Blessings, showers of blessings we need. Mercy drops round us are falling, but for the showers we plead too. There shall be showers of blessings, send them upon us, O Lord. Grant to us now a refreshing. Come on now, honor your word. Showers of blessings, showers of blessings we need. Mercy drops round us are falling. But for the showers we plead, there shall be showers of blessing, oh, that today they might fall. Now as to God we are confessing, now as on Jesus we call, showers of blessing. Sins, showers of blessing we need. Mercy drops round us are falling, but for the showers we plead. There shall be showers of blessing if we but trust and obey. There shall be seasons refreshed if we let God have his way. Showers of blessings, showers of blessings we need. Mercy drops around us are falling, but for the showers we need. Thank you, Lord. You know, even in the case of casting out devils and walking of miracles, one of the reasons why we don't see as much result as we ought to is because many times we, we are not paying attention to the way the Holy Ghost says to go about it.

Do you know that there are times you are trying to cast out a devil and God is saying just wash There won't be a result where he has not instructed. He said Israel should have subdued their enemies and my hand turned against their adversaries. The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him, but their time should have endured forever.

He said I should have fed them with wheat, with the finest of wheat, and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied them. God is saying he's not able to do all this because they are not allowing me.

So there are things God wants to do in our lives that he can't do, not because he's not God, but because we are not prophetically cooperating with him. When he brings the nudge to fast, fast. When he brings the nudge to give, give. Give. When he gives the nudge to pray, pray. When he gives the nudge for a vigil, keep it. So you can enter your prophetic season part-time. That's the way we enter. That's the secret. Once he supplies that strength, mount on it, mount on it. Mount on it, maximize the opportunity. Some of you, this is the confirmation you need that the time has come for that retreat. I can trace major shifts in our ministry to retreat and Lent of prayers. I know there's a part of God's grace and mercy, but there's also the way to unlock the tap.

There's a way to to.

Let me share this with you.

I don't know if I've shared it before. Did I share yesterday? I can't remember. Years back, I began to cry to God, oh Lord, help me, my finance, do something for me, I can't continue like this. He gave me an instruction. He said, well, the level you want to, you are asking for exists. He said, but you're a pastor, I said, he said to me, he said, stop collecting church salary. I say, hey God, okay, I will, but hey, how do I survive with my wife? He said, stop collecting. And I responded to that in obedience. I stopped. Then he came to me again, cuz I saw I wasn't shifting as I should. I said, Lord, this is— I've obeyed the first instruction. He said to me, he said, start giving the equivalence of the salary as an offering. Say, if I had gone, will I be complaining before? He helped me. I started at some point. Understand that when God is giving you instruction, he's not giving you as a tool for a trade. He's giving you the instruction to kill you to something so you can now carry something. Then after a while, it shifted me. Then I began to pray to God for the church again, that I want the church to shift, something is wrong here. And God said, say yes, say yes. He said, because you didn't train them to learn to give to you. Were you not the one who said that I should step away from this, this, um, um, salary? So what's why he's this. He said, I ask you to step away from that. I didn't ask them to stop away from generosity. We are talking about divine instructions here.

Sometimes doesn't make sense.

I remember when we're going to move from one of our facility, we just did our venue. Look at it, we just constructed a, a tent that time. I know we're going to move from a rented place now to a place that we have done ourselves. God said to me—

God, I've been praying—

he said, don't pick a pin from this place. Share everything out. Go look for ministry within there.

Share them out.

Don't pick a pin from here. And we obeyed that. Guess what? The week we had to move into our facility, it crashed. Now I look back in retrospect, that crash is an act of mercy. We could have crashed on a Sunday.

True.

It crashed. Were you able to do another one?

You know, I'm not sure if I've shared this part before.

After a while, I noticed that I was not seeing satisfaction in the mind of God, in the spirit realm.

So what was happening?

And God said, you didn't give out everything I have ask you to give out.

Eh, eh, we didn't give out what?

I started investigating.

Who took anything? Did anyone take as little as could ever?

And I found out someone kept a mic, a pin mic.

Who, who was that? You were the one who kept the mic? Someone kept the mic. I said, we use this one for production.

We have to now send that mic to a movie producer. Am I correct?

Yes.

Because when God is leading us like this, it's because of our own good. He wants to shift us.

Now you can go back to Psalms 80 and understand in context. Give here, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock.

So he said that the reason why Joseph could move from Potiphar's house and all that, from the pit to Potiphar's house to the prison, then to the palace ultimately, is because God was able to lead him like a flock.

Thou that dwellest between the chevel beams, shine forth.

I learned this while I was on campus. There are times I bring food from home and God said, that food you brought from home, hey, it's not your food. Keep it at the door, the owner will come and carry it.

Ewo! I'm as broke as the owner too.

God, that's not his concern. What he's saying is that you— I am your inheritance, I will satisfy you. Let that person go with this. Learn to start paying attention to prophetic instructions that God has given. I want to do something now.

Pick a note and paper. What are the things God gave you as instruction that you couldn't do and miss seasons?

Funny thing is that you may not even know you have missed any season because your life kept going the same way, but you didn't know. Go back and write them down and go and do them. If it's a fast, go and do it.

If it's a vigil, go and keep it.

It's not for God, it's for you, so that your own life will what? Shift. If you can, put your two hands on your head.

This season I position myself for divine instruction. Lord, I see it, I hear what you have to say about my life. I go where you ask me to go. I do what you have me to do. In the name of Jesus, I step into alignment. I step into alignment with divine instruction.

Open my eyes that they may see. Open my ears that they may hear. I step into divine alignment. I step into divine alignment! I step into divine alignment! I step into divine alignment! I step into divine alignment! I step into divine alignment! I step into divine alignment!

Lord, give me the grace to obey you—

it's for my own sake. Sometimes he's calling for a song, he's calling for worship giving.

Sometimes he's calling for sound, give him Give him. Sometimes he's calling for more testimonies. Give him.

I receive grace to obey you, Lord, and I will not be swallowed in my own conceit. No, I won't, Lord. To now step into my Kairos and maximize my season. Help me, Lord. Help me. Help me, help me. We give you praise, oh Lord. Blessed be your holy name, blessed be your holy name. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. You see, sometimes you may not feel like what you are doing is spiritual, but you even get more results than just shouting. When you function as he instructs, you get results. You get more results. God strengthens you and God keeps you in perfect peace. From the depth of my heart, I bless you and I decree that all the doors you've not been able to enter because you couldn't hear what he's saying, step in now in the name of Jesus. When he asks you to turn to the right, you will not turn to the left. You will not get into danger in the name of Jesus. As I go through these testimonies, I have seen too many times that people can key into testimonies and see the same God that did it for Jesus, do it for them. And as you do so this morning, I am confident that that will be your case in the name of Jesus. The first testimony this morning reads, um, it says, a testimony of divine protection by God's mercy by Becky from Kaduna. Glory to God! My name is Becky and I live in Kaduna. Though I followed Apostle Femi Lazarus on Instagram for some time, a friend introduced me to PPC last month. During my second— he said, during my second prayer session with PPC, God moved mightily in my life. On the morning of my PhD defense, I turned into PPC for prayers. As I listened to the testimonies and watched the livestream, I felt tempted to turn it off and drive straight to school, planning to pray later. But in that moment, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart and said, 'Are you the one who will take yourself to school?' Since I surrendered my urgency, ignored the clock, and committed to completing the prayers after finishing I began my drive to campus. Just 5 minutes into the journey, as I prepared to take a left turn, a motorcycle rider suddenly appeared out of nowhere, darting directly in front of my car. By God's grace, what could have been a devastating collision became a miracle. I barely touched the bike, not a direct hit, and the rider dodged disaster. Humanly speaking, I should have crushed him, but God intervened. His hand of protection protection shielded us both from tragedy. Not only did he preserve my life that day, but he also crowned my efforts with success. My PhD defense was victorious. I stand in awe of his mercy and faithfulness. Can we put in the comment section, nothing missing, nothing broken? What the enemy thought for evil, God turned it around for good. Can we just say thank you, Jesus? And as you key into this testimony, whatever the enemy has planned. I see the Lord turning it, turning it around for your good in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah, hallelujah, amen and amen. All right, um, the next testimony this morning reads, good morning Apostle and the PPC family, my name is Iyoma and I've come to testify about God's goodness. During the PPC prayers last Friday, the Apostle prayed the prayer of open heavens amongst other prayer point, and I received mine with so much expectation in my heart. Said that same day, I kept on looking at my account balance and wondering how my family and I would survive that weekend. Around 8 PM that same day, a friend of mine in the UK called and said she just couldn't resist— she couldn't rest, rather— until she sent me some money. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the credit alert. I had to just come back to give God praise. Oh, who is this God that hears even the silent cry of your heart. Can we say thank you, Jesus? I see God surprising someone with an amazing testimony in the name of Jesus. Amen and amen. All right, the final testimony I'll be taking this morning for the want of time goes thus: Good morning, Apostle and PPC family. My name is Ianu Oluwa. I've never given testimony before. I once promised to give one if I finished with a first class degree, but I never did, and it didn't— and I didn't acknowledge God enough when I passed with flying colors. The grade itself didn't mean as much to me as I was trying to keep it from getting to my head. Now I'm praying and trusting God to secure a remote job after I complete my service this month. Secondly, I have done so much traveling since last year, truly an immense amount. I've witnessed so many accidents that I could have been involved in, particularly if I had arrived at the park early. The most recent one was just this past Thursday. I was listening to PPC while traveling colleague. I was extremely late leaving home. Apostle discussed gratitude, reminding us to reflect on what God has done for us that we haven't fully appreciated. After the PPC session, I realized that if I hadn't been late, if I had left home at my usual time, I might have encountered that very accident. A trailer crushed and ground someone's hand right where I typically cross. I just want to say thank you, God, for protection. Nothing missing, nothing broken. You see, these are the kinds of testimonies that remind us of God's faithfulness. Just a moment earlier and it would have been disaster, but God said no. Mercy said no. Can we just thank God for these amazing testimonies? And I see the hand of God protecting, keeping, and preserving everyone connected in the name of Jesus. Many have asked, how do I give my life to Christ?

I want to make it very, very simple and introduce you today to the person of Jesus. Paul, speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 from verse 1, said, I deliver unto you the gospel that you have received and also believed, and wherein you stand, how that Christ Christ came and died for our sins according to scriptures, and he was buried according to scriptures, and he rose on the third day according to the scriptures. When he died, he died for our sins. When he was buried, he was buried, and the Bible said he went into the lower part of the earth and set the captives free. And when he rose on the third day, he rose for our justification. And now we are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this, whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord, I'd like to lead you to Christ. And that is exactly why I'm here this morning. You want to say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you you as my Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen. Now, if you have said that prayer, I can tell you for surely that there is so much joy in heaven right now. There's so, so much joy. You have made the right step, and I want to encourage you.
