In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. You see, usually Prayer may look like a waste of time till you get to a point where you look back. This morning is a morning we all will never forget, you see. And again, don't forget what I'm telling you. Prayer will look like a waste of time till you just get to a point in life and God says, look back, and it occurs to you that as you were praying You were covering steps, mileage. You were gaining mileage. Permit me just to say a few things. I don't like to sound like boasting. Sometimes they bring people to me and say this person has been traveling down from so-and-so place just been trusting God for one encounter, you look at the person and you know. I just look at the person and know, ah, that for this one-on-one to be happening, God loves you. And I know there's no way the battle is living with you. How is that? Mileage. Sometimes what ought to take somebody 40 days fasting can be sorted in one simple declaration of 'lose him' and 'let him go.' Just that one statement, that's it. As you pray, we do what? We gain mileage, we cover distance. In the spirit. We are covering gaps so much so that you look at the mountain and say, you mountain, I remove you, get out of here, and the mountain will in no wise say no. As we pray, we make power available, and once power is available, everything that needs power can be plugged plugged in. Are you following what I'm saying here? Everything that needs power can be what? Plugged in. One day, so you look back and thank God for the days of PPC. You see, it may not— I'm very intentional— it may not look like much, but you are changing. Years back, Daddy Joe shared a story with us in one of the solemn assemblies while I was in Redeem. They sent a missionary to a country, maybe China or so, and then, well, part of the things he was doing, the missionary was doing, was to get a kung fu tutor. So the missionary came back frustrated said one of these, those days, I said that the tutor they gave me were not doing anything. Say he's not doing much, he just put water down. I said I should be slapping water, be slapping water. Oh, what kind of— while he was demonstrating how he was slapping the water, the table he was slapping broke. It was then he looked at his hand and saw that something had happened to that hand. If you use that hand to slap somebody, the person will swallow his tongue. As we are praying, we are changing. What did I say? As we are praying, we are what? We are changing. I want us to pray in tongues, everybody, before I tell you this.

Pray in tongues. Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes! Pray, pray in tongues. If you can't pray in tongues, ask God, say, Lord, help me. Those of you who don't know how to pray in tongues in PPC, one of these days, um, we will have online Holy Ghost baptism for you. I might be the one to coordinate, or I call one of our pastors wherever you are. It could be on Zoom, all right? Then we are going to be able to pray for you to begin to pray with other tongues. Amen. Years back, I went to— because I don't go home for break on campus unless necessary. So I went to see one of my friends who stays around campus. When I got to their house, the following morning we both came out. Then I saw people were greeting him. And long story cut short, I found— I discovered that majority of his age mates there as at then were already fathers of two, fathers of one. So I became curious. I said, ah, all these people have impregnated different girls. I said, because I knew that he himself is not like he's on fire. He used to be my Femi Lazarus, who plays for me, but whenever there's trouble, used to run. He went to play for me in a village, there was a spiritual display, rain was falling just where I was standing, um, he ran. I said anything that will kill him, till today he has not come back. So he's just a normal good boy who doesn't want trouble. So I said, how did you escape this So he said, that's true. He said he did— he said he didn't try to escape it. He said the moment he finished school, they made him go learn keyboard. So he was just busy with keyboard class every day. By the time he was done with keyboard class, life had happened to people. When the Bible says that the name of the Lord is a strong own tower in Psalms 91. I'm sorry, um, he that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High will then abide where? Under the shadow of who? The Almighty. As you dwell in that secret place, it looks like that's all there is, but even as we are praying now As you are praying now, as we are here now, somebody is currently doing what will kill him. I saw a video online, one of my friends was the one preaching, and he spoke about a pastor— because this morning I'm going to get you into stuff— who went to preach in South Africa. And by the time he was done preaching, he said he was tired and he wanted a massage. So he went to a spa to get a massage. Got to the spa, got the massage, then sleep with the person. He's a man of God. The video is online. Then in his presence The person picked the phone and called someone and said, we finally got him. Then 7 days later, he died. What I'm trying to let you know is that as you are hiding your head, you see, the devil is trying every means to get you out, give you the impression that all this prayer we are praying is just some religious stuff. Oh, you wait till you see what happens to the life of those who they embrace it.

Prayer is a rock of safety. It's not just some religious practice. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadows of the Almighty. So as we are praying, a lot is happening.

Are you following what I'm saying here?

Darkness is ravaging the world. The devil is ravaging destinies. He is giving people appetite. He is fanning his life of flame in their lives. He is destroying destinies. Someone somewhere is planning to go to where he will die.

Someone somewhere has packed the bag. It will go to someone he's not married to and waste his life. But as we pray, we hide our heads under the shadows of the Almighty. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run him— is a, is a hiding place, and they are what? Safe. You will find out later that in the days you were busy praying, appetite was growing. Joseph was going through process, but he didn't know that Reuben was sleeping with somebody else. There will be a day of reckoning that you stand side by side and discover that your only saving grace was that you were able to hide under the shadows of the Almighty. So if you are hiding there, hide well. If you are under his shadow, stay well. I want us to get up on our feet, everyone, and say, Jesus. Say it again. Say, Jesus, help me.

Help me, Jesus, thou Son of David. Femi Lazarus. In Jesus' mighty name we're praying. Have you left an environment before, maybe campus, only for it to occur to you that while you were busy with fellowship and do all those things, that somebody's life was being mortgaged? A lot was going on. The devil was busy the ravaging people. I'll tell you something, and which will make me announce my next series in church, which is titled First Love. I feel there's something about it that has not been taught. You will at some point in life be faced faced with levels of darkness that you have not seen before. You'll be faced with height of temptation you have not seen before. You'll be faced with— the devil will seek to invade your soul, and what he will check is his appetite that you have responded to in time past to activate your doom. Now it will come. He will— when Jesus said, the prince of this world came to me and found nothing of his in me, he will check you out, he will weigh you out, he will bring things. See, and I'm telling you, when that day comes, may it be that God has established a pillar of truth in you. May it be that you have been truly anchored. May it be that the fire you claim to have will not be a lie. May it be that there is a real foundation you are built on.

I tell you, it will come.

It will come. Um, if you go to different supermarkets and stores where they sell things, particularly edibles, you see MFG. DMG as a code there, date of manufacture. Then you see BP, best before. The distance or the difference between the date of manufacture and the expiry date is what is called the shelf life. There are cakes that you bake that can't stand more than one week. Because there are no preservatives there. If you eat it after 2 weeks, they will need to help you with mobile toilet because you'll be a walking poo poo. Sorry, they'll be carrying you like this. I say, help him, help him, help him, help him. He's just shrinking. Help him, help him. But there are cakes that you bake and can almost stand a year, eh, because of the preservatives that is there. That's the shelf life. What is the shelf life of your fire? How long can you stand with the shaking you are experiencing, the the tremor in your soul, the temptation, what it is doing to your mind. Does it look like the current fire you have can stand another heat for 10 years? Can this withstand the onslaught of darkness for another 20 years? In another 30 years, if Jesus tarries to come, will this fire still be burning? In Leviticus 6:12, the injunction is that the fire should be burned upon the altar, it should not be what? Put out. The conviction that you have about God, that he is able— what is the shelf life of that conviction? The trust that you have in him and in his ability, what is the shelf life of that trust? The hope that you have in Christ, what is the shelf life of that hope? That's why we cry. This morning. Everybody, if you can find a spot to lay down or kneel down, whatever it is, you are saying, Jesus, help me, incubate me.

You see, we've prayed warfare prayers in the past week. This is a more serious warfare. Jesus, help me, help me. In the battle over my soul, in the battle for my life, help me. In the battle against my mind, help me. In the battle against my faith, help me. In the battle against my trust in you, help me. Jesus, thou Son of David, Have mercy on me. Help me in the battle against my soul. Help me. I lean on you. I rest on your faithfulness. Rescue me from the onslaught of darkness. Rescue me From the snare of the fowler, rescue my soul from destruction. Rescue my soul from destruction. Keep me in the hollows of your hand, keep me ever fresh and burning. Preserve me in your love. Preserve me in your love.

Rescue me from myself.

Deliver me from destruction. Activate your fire in me. That which makes men last, give me. That which makes men endure the test of time. That by which men stand for decades proclaiming the Lord unfazed. That which makes men run against the tide. That which makes men run against the wind. Give me and build in me.

Jesus, in Jesus' mighty name we're praying.

Look up, everybody.

Body.

And towards the end of Jesus's ministry, Matthew chapter number 26 precisely, they were having what they called the Last Supper. In that Last Supper, two things was going to happen. They, of course, they will eat. However, Jesus was telling them that one of you will betray me. And everyone there began to ask, is it I? He went further to begin to describe how that night they will be offended and some of them will flee from him. And Peter said, even in the face of death, I stand here. But that confession he has confessed. The shelf life is not strong. You can't stand by yourself until you are helped to. Some of you, you, you look at where you are coming from, the battles that ravaged people in that family. You, you don't want anything that will make you look like them. It is important that the shelf life of your faith is strong, so that Jesus has built a tabernacle within you that can withstand the— what? Storms. That can withstand money, that can withstand the opposite sex, that can withstand pride, that can withstand attacks against your soul, that can withstand all those things. It is important. As they came that night, and it was Judas— you need to understand that one amongst the 12 that led the crowd and said, that's him, arrest him. Jesus did not offend him. Jesus, he, he just wanted to do his own business. And Peter, well, true to his word, brought out his knife, his sword, to cut someone. He cut the person's ears. Jesus picked the ears and put it back. Then Judas and Peter knew that what I've anchored my strength on will not survive this. So he fled. He fled in so much terror that he denied Jesus 3 times. The prophecy was fulfilled. And Bible said that he wept when all these things were happening. And Judas observed how they were beating him, how they were slapping Jesus, and he saw that this is not one of those business. What he had prophesied, that someone will betray him, he had fulfilled negative prophecy. He thought about how he'll be remembered for generations Nations to come. His heart couldn't bear it. He went to kill himself. In Acts chapter number 1, give me that scripture. When they called, when they called the gathering, and there's a burden in my soul as I pray this prayer.

There's—

God wants to fasten people. He wants to help. He wants to anchor people on himself. And I can tell you that your Christianity at some point will be watered down unless your foundation is well built and anchored on Christ the solid rock. You must cry for help. We must see what is coming. The Bible told us darkness will cover the earth, gross darkness the people. In Matthew 24:27, because iniquity will abound, lawlessness, the love of many will wax cold. You will see things happening around people that you look up to and trust. We are coming to the days where there will be so much revelation. God will move in his church. There will be breaking news. You will hear this preacher is found in this and that preacher is found in that. Is your faith anchored on them or on Christ? Your heart will break. Oh yes, you will cry. You will wish it never happened, but it has happened. It will check where your faith is anchored. It is part of the reality of the end of times. It's part of the reality of the last days. Will you say, if this is happening, then what am I doing here? You came to seek Jesus. In Acts 1, do you have the scripture when they gathered together and they said there's one amongst us who has betrayed Jesus, went to buy a field of blood? And Peter said, according as it was written, let his habitation be desolate and his bishopric let another person take. Some of you now looks like you were in line, you are in line for a major divine appointment. Ah, may your crown not be waiting and the owner of the crown is missing.

Ah, may your assignment not be hanging and the owner of the assignment is destroyed. Ah, may the work you have been called to do not be waiting and dead, and the one to whom the work was designed has been finished. May it not be said that you were knocked out of the race. May it not be said that you were knocked out of your standing. May it not be said that you were knocked out of your standing. May you stand the test of time. May you withstand the onslaught of darkness. May you withstand the onslaught of darkness. May your soul not be in anguish. May you stand the test of time. May the fire within you not go dim. May your lamp not go down. In the name of Jesus. Oh, may you stand. May you stand the test of time. May you stand the test of time. May you stand the test of time.

People of God, you pray for your own soul. The disciples of Jesus didn't know that when he was saying darkness will come, it will be such that will make all of them run. Peter run, James run, Andrew run, Matthew run, Luke ran.

They all of hand.

They didn't know that it will be the kind of storm that they would— that they will need to be anchored on his grace, not on their own strength. Oh, when Jesus spoke about the man who built his house on the rock, he mentioned 3 things that will test the building, and amazingly, among the 3 things he mentioned was rain. I will rain test the building. Isaiah 55:10: As the rain and the snow will not return back to heaven, but it makes the earth bring forth and bud, that may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, I say, so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth. It will not return back void, but it will prosper in the purpose for which I sent it. When rain falls, you bring both bread and seed. Rain is a sign of abundance, and the Bible is saying that the rain is part of what will check your standing. You don't know what money can do. Humility can also look like it— you can look like humility because you don't have money. When you get to a point where there there's nothing you want to buy with money you can't afford. That's when the strength of your Christianity will be weighed. I have said it again, many preachers were not destroyed till they can afford to start going to different nations and camp girls. It's unfortunate. You will have access, but will you betray the Lord? Will you betray the The tenant of the cross. I woke up with that burden this morning. What was the shelf life of your standing? What's the shelf life of your faith? What's the shelf life of your fire? Jesus, help me. Keep me in your love. Keep me in your love. Listen, listen, all these resources Jesus sees everything you are praying for. They will come. Ah, you want God to announce you one day? So when your time comes, he will. What will happen to the man that is announced? What will happen to the man? The last time Jesus had the attention of some people was before money came. The moment they have resources, God no longer gets their attention. Will you— if you have all the money, you want to buy everything in the world, will you still consider morning prayer necessary? Will you still consider Sunday service necessary? Jesus, help me, help me, keep me in your love.

Preserve me with your own fire.

In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Um, in Genesis 49, if I'm correct. I think I'm correct. When Jacob— forgive me, please— gathered all his sons and said, gather yourselves, ye sons of Jacob, that I may tell you what will befall you in the last days. It was going to be a day of shock. Because the first statement will be such that will send chills down the spines of everyone of them that day. He said, Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity. Say, but you are unstable as water. Say, you will not excel because you went went into your father's bed and defiled the couch. He went to Simeon and Levi, and remember the event that took place in Genesis 34 when Simeon and Levi, out of anger for what Shechem had done to Dinah, their sister— and Jacob had made a truce with the father of Shechem, Ammon, and said, we'll give you our daughter to marry if all your men will be circumcised. It was an introduction, an invitation to the Commonwealth of the Blessing. And the man, true to it, will let you know, okay, they've made this mistake, but they love this girl. Even that father, at his age, and all the men in their country made them to be circumcised. I mean, that's, that's an agreement. They've made the sick. And Simeon looked at them in the moment of their weakness and went to kill all of them. And, um, Jacob will bring that up and say, cursed is your anger. He said, the weapon of, um, is it destruction now, lies with you. He cursed their anger. And they were beginning to hear many things. So Joseph must been thinking. So all these things, hope you know, they took place before Joseph came back. All these things took place while I was away. As you get away in Christ, you will find out in future many things that were taking place. Nothing jumps to the top to pull a man down. They crawl with him. You begin to find out the things that were crawling with people. The darkness coming is hard to bear, and the icing on the cake is that even when the one against your soul doesn't look much, what the devil be using to fight your consecration really is that many of the people you look up to, you begin to find out that they are not there. In those days, those two— when the devil conquers a giant, he wants to play him as a card to tell those who are not up to that stature that if this one can fall, who are you? When those days come, will it be that you have already anchored your faith on Christ, the solid rock? I know that as we approach the coming of Jesus, anybody can fall. Fall, but Lord, keep me. Are you following what I'm saying here? You are going to see things. Darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the people. You're going to hear of many things, things that are discouraging. You will look at the faith and say, do I still want to continue?

You will almost get tired.

You may look for the church you can attend within your city and not even find— it is either the truth is not being preached, or you have heard this about this place, or heard that about that place, and ask, where do we even turn? The Bible calls it perilous times. How to bear and how to deal with when that time comes? And as it is already here, will your faith stand the test of time. Yours may not even be about the church. It may be about a waiting journey that you've been trusting God for a child, and here is menopause looking at you. And now they are telling you, all you have to do is to come to the village. You don't even have to do it. You pay us, we do it yourself. You drink the concussion. And here are standing in between you and your imaginations of carrying your own child is the trial of your faith. Will you bow to Baal?

You've waited for long and the man you want to marry is saying the only condition for which we will marry is that you get pregnant before we get married. Will you bow? You've waited for long and this person is saying, you see where I'm coming from, I don't believe in waiting till marriage wedding night, we must start now. I say, ah, before I will find this kind, will you stand even if it means that— you see, some of us have zeroed our mind that even if it means that in future when the next generation are counting those who succeed, my name will not be there, but it will be that I stand, I stood. I'm okay with that. Some of us have settled our mind that if it— if, if need be, that they will not trace abundance and mega churches to me, but if the testimony is that he preached the truth, and God kept him. I'm okay. You see, you must get to the point where you say, if I die, I die. It is from that point that you now truly live. Will you trade away Christ for the gains of iniquity? Here you, you know that this is bad. But you will even share as testimony in church that God did it. What's the shelf life of your faith? The reason why we gather, you must understand, is not for miracles. God wants to hide you in himself. By the time he's even done with you, when that thing comes, you'll find out that you've gotten more than it. So it does— it can't become your God. That's what waiting does. Waiting shows you that there's something bigger, stronger, and better than what you are waiting for, and you anchor your faith on Christ. Put your two hands on your head and pray it for the last time. Jesus, you are my hiding place in the storm. Keep me. Help me!

Help me. Oh yes, Lord, help me. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. There's a statement I used to say to the Lord every time: I am still that boy you found, o. Nothing has changed. I am still that one you picked up from the dung hill. That's one of the things things that— let me warn you, one of the things that God taught me to keep my soul is that the people I have been with even in the days of nothing, I'm still with them. And sometimes it can be frustrating, but it reminds me of where God picked me from. Friends now, talk about— just look at it. Is— you must be one who knows how to keep covenant. You must learn to have respect to covenant practices because don't overrate yourself beyond measure, huh? Don't overrate yourself beyond measure. Don't overrate yourself. God will keep you. He will hold you in perfect peace. You will not vanish like smoke. You will not fall out of the way. You will not become an ex-Christian. You will not become an ex-minister. You will not be referred to as formerly anointed. He will keep you. He will guard your heart and mind. You will not fall off in the name of Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name. Hallelujah. Whatever you want, you want to put an emoji, you want to just, just celebrate him and bless him in the next 5 seconds. Father, we give you praise. And I want to welcome you to this testimonial session. I am too confident that in this testimonial session you're going to receive your own testimony. And I want to sincerely celebrate my spiritual parents, Apostle Femi Lazarus and Pastor Miracle Femi Lazarus, for this privilege to bring us these testimonies. And like I always say, these testimonies have replicative abilities. Keys into them, and you'll come back with your testimony in the name of Jesus. All right, the first testimony that I'll be taking this morning goes thus. It says, good morning, Apostle and the PPC family. My name is Shedrack and this is my testimony. Yesterday when I came back from work, normally I do buy food before getting home. So on reaching home, I just had a pre-plan in my heart, which trust me, I did not think about it, but somehow, somehow, somehow the plan just came that I should take my bath then gym before eating dinner. I bought 30 minutes of settling down in the pilot gym because that is where my gym is. I heard a loud sound like the whole building had collapsed, but to my amazement and to the glory of God, the ceiling directly to where I do sleep on the bed collapsed. I just want to bless the name of the Lord because if I had not gone to the pilot gym and to wait for time to reach for the evening prophetic prayer contact, PPC, what would have happened My God, my God, my God, my God! Do you understand that testimony? He was going to leave, you know, from when he got to the house, he was just going to go straight to bed, but he just had the notion from the Spirit of God to not just go to bed but to go to Jim in the parlor and also wait. And to the glory of God, God averted a major disaster. Can we celebrate Jesus? Nothing missing, nothing broken. Somebody put in the comment section, nothing missing, nothing broken. God is He's good and we give him all the praise. Can you say thank you, Jesus? We don't have a cause to mourn. Indeed, we are here to celebrate Jesus. Father, we give you praise. Amen and amen. All right, the next testimony I'll be reading this morning goes thus: Good morning, Apostle and the PPC family. It says, joining PPC has been life-changing. I lost my contract at work on the 31st of March. I was home for a month. Praying and trusting the Lord for help. He says, and God heard me. I was employed at my dream company. Listen to this, said, I am the youngest and the only female to ever work in that role since the company's inception in 1992. It's amazing. He says, primarily because my family has been struggling since we were kids, feeding from hand to mouth and struggling. This job pays so well and it's an answered prayer of years of prayers and tears of my parents. People of God, can we celebrate Jesus? Who is this God? That can wipe away your tears in the twinkle of an eye. It doesn't take aeons for him to do what he wants to do. God is good. Can we say thank you, Jesus? Oh, what an amazing testimony! And anyone trusting God for this kind, key into it by faith, and yours is coming in the name of Jesus. All right, the final testimony I'll be taking this morning, for the brevity of time of course, was— does— he says, good morning, Apostle, and dear PPC family. I'd like to testify to the glory of God for restoration in my life. For a year I lost a sense of my purpose and I became too confused to navigate my way around it because of the cares of life. He said, this is unusual for me because I am one who is keen about fulfilling my purpose and was working toward it. But during the Code Red prayers in PPC, that is the spiritual warfare prayers, I was sitting at the office one day and suddenly it came to me. The things that God had told me about, the strategies I created in achieving them, and the desire to pursue them once more was fully restored. This is something I've been praying about for months, and I give God the the glory for restoring my sense of purpose. Can we celebrate Jesus? There is nothing too hard for my God to do. People of God, celebrate the Lord. Amen and amen. All right, that's the much you can take today, but I'll see you tomorrow and I'll be reading your own testimony. Many have asked, how do I give my life to Christ? I want to make it very, very simple and introduce you today to the person of Jesus. Paul, speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 from verse 1, said, I deliver unto you the gospel that you have received and also believed, and wherein you stand, how that Christ came and died for our sins according to scriptures, and he was buried according to scriptures, and he rose on the third day according to the scriptures. When he died, he died for our sins. When he was buried, he was buried. And the Bible said he went into the lower part of the earth and set the captives free. And when he rose on the third day, he rose for our justification. And now we are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this, whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord, I'd like to lead you to Christ.

And that is exactly why I'm here this morning.

You want to say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen. Now, if you have said that prayer, I can tell you for surely that there is so much joy in heaven right now. There's so, so much joy. You have made the right step, and I want to encourage you.
