The Lord showed me something, and I'm going to use a scripture to explain it. One day, the man Saul of Tarsus saddled his horse, and the Bible said he was breathing threatenings against the church that was at Jerusalem. And he saddled himself to go there that he might kill and bring some to judgment, those who are of the faith. And while Saul of Tarsus was on his way, the Bible said suddenly a great light shone on him and he fell from his horse. And a voice spoke from that light and said, Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? And long story short, he got saved. The Lord showed me 5 people like set on a track, but he showed me one of them who is actually in this prayer meeting this morning. While the rest were running an open field, that fellow was running against a brick wall. So there's no chance for that fellow to win. The Lord is sending me to call your attention that what you are doing against his purpose for your life, there is no winning at the end of it. You are running against a brick wall. You know precisely You know precisely that what God will have you do is something entirely different. You know precisely, but you have made up your mind that not in this lifetime, because you said many things in the moment of offenses. So now you've made up your mind that not in this lifetime. And the Lord is sending me to tell you You're running against a brick wall, so there's no winning. So this is a call, it's a message of repentance. Things are just going to keep getting deteriorated and bad till you stop. Jesus asked Saul, he said, it is a hard thing to kick against the pricks. It was hard then, it is still hard now for you to do, to kick against and run against God's plan for your life. Then the Lord showed me another, um, vision, and this is very precise. I saw a very fresh well-nourished tree. I saw a very fresh— but pay attention to what I want to share— well-nourished tree. But as soon as someone plucked the fruit from it, it began to wither. And I was wondering, what's the meaning of this? This is a very good tree. So because the tree began to wither, those onlookers concluded that there was just one fruit on it, so it's time to go to another tree. Then as I turned around the tree, I saw that it had more fruit that it should produce, and it should not be abandoned. This is a postpartum case. There's a woman here this morning, and I, I want to see you. I want to pray with you. Your health began to deteriorate after your first child. It was like everything started withering, everything started dying. Um, I can count several cases that you're dealing with, but the Lord said to tell you, don't give up on yourself because there are still fruit on your tree. And I command in the name of Jesus that that tree that is withering receive life right now. It receives life right now.

The Lord said to tell you— I don't know this person, but you see, one thing about prophecies is that they are person-specific and there will always be a witness. The Lord said, allow me take you by the hand and journey with you further beyond the borders of your mind. Says the Lord. I'm seeing someone who's made up the mind, and you are limiting God to a space. And God is saying, if you give me till the ends of the earth, yet I will fill it. He said, I'm ready to make my name known through you and to put my print on your head, says the Lord. He said, allow me take you on a walk. Stop limiting me. To your location, says the Lord. I, I see specifically for this person that the grace upon your life, the Lord opening that grace beyond your immediate location. There's just this emotional attachment, and there's been a nudge from the Lord: break out of this space, break out of this location. Let me walk you to the ends of the and, and you, you have, you have been saying, Lord, and sometimes occasionally on the bill of his mercy, he moves you beyond that place. And the Lord said, now I will have to wait till you are ready to move, says the Lord. So he's saying, give me space, make more room. Don't limit yourself to the theories you're hearing around. Don't limit yourself to the doctrinal limitation that is flowing from where you're coming from. There is a doctrinal voice that is limiting around this specific person. Let me leave it there.

Thank you, Lord Jesus. So yesterday I showed you Um, the book of Exodus chapter number 3 has a very, very profound text. While Moses was keeping the sheep of his father-in-law, and the Lord appeared to him in the midst of a burning bush that was not consumed and said to him about his life that I have ordained you, I want you to go set my people free. Sometimes Anyways, I'm gonna— it's part of what I'm teaching now, um, Countercultural. If you have been missing that series, then I don't know, you're probably missing one of the most important series ever. Sometimes peace is not the way to measure alignment. First, Jesus said, my peace I give unto you. Understand that in context. Not as the world giveth. So there is a peace that the world gives that once you refuse to do what God wants to do with your life, it might be peaceful for a while because the will of God sometimes can be trouble. When Jesus embraced the cross, he embraced trouble. When he said, nevertheless, let your will be done, that will he said let be done was trouble. He will hang for hours, he will bleed, he will be scorched. And the reason why many of you keep doubting if you're in the will of God or not is because your foundation didn't— is not deep. He's not fasting deep enough. So you have somehow been convinced that the way you know whether you are in God's will or not is that everything should be fine, and it is not so. It's not so. Let me tell you something. Let me give you an instance. Let me give you an instance. One time growing up, we're staying with one of our big mommies. You know, all these big mommies, I mean, fantastic woman, that when you go to church, they will carry 25 liters of water that they will bless the water. When we are going to school, you will Ah, you will— once you are eating, there's a cup of natural water and there's another cup of spiritual water, the one that they are blessed. Then there's Pastor Mo compose you every day. I'm telling you. Then there's whatever is the latest news she has heard that this leaf is the medicinal one, that will not be there. So imagine that every day you have sets of— from spiritual cure to physical cure, too many of those things. Oh God, you know, God help me. So that water, that prayer water— see, let me tell you something. We have prayer water in the house that they have prayed for for 2 years. Ah, it depends on how serious the program is. If the program— oh yes, if it's a serious program The prayer water is a special one, so this one be taking it for years. You say, ah, they say no, it's anointed. So that aside, that was where I learned to drink herbs. Some herbs, they say this one is for malaria. Ah, nobody have checked it Nobody tells you that this overdose or this underdose. Nobody is telling you that is the active ingredient. No doctor, no prescription.

how many of you have lived where you have to take herbs before, huh? Probably are looking at me like you came from Germany. You took herbs, they'll squeeze leaves. Some of you even now as I'm talking, you are potential herbalists. You have different leaves in your house from dongu yaro to this one. I said, this— even when you pass, you drive, you park, ah, that's that leaf. Now this one cures whatever. So there's this particular one that she used to get. Even if you were not sick, as soon as you take that one, you feel sick. Oh yes, you will feel what? Sick. So I said, worrying that Ah, this one that you are— when you are normal, you now take it, you now become unnormal. Say, I'm not sure I want to continue with this. So she gave me a theory and she said sometimes some sicknesses— now I can say pathogens— are hiding in your body that are there and they are doing their work. That when you now take what disturbs them, they become quite active. Somehow life works like that, that the best moment of a man's life yet might be when he was outside the will of God. And the moment you have to now move from the life you have built outside the will of God to the life you are— you want to build in the will of God, there is the initial entry point that will be very troublesome. Are you feeling what I'm saying? Because the custom, the things you know, they are now not what you have to do again. So you are having to learn from the scratch. Why am I saying this? In Genesis chapter number— okay, Genesis, I don't— because of time, but I want to read the reported statement of that scripture, of the event that took place in Genesis 30, um, 32. Genesis 32 was where Jacob Jacob fought with the angel, but there was a place where the statement or the event was being reported. And the place where the event was being reported by Jacob himself is Genesis chapter number 48. Genesis chapter number 48. Look at it, and I will read from Verse 2: And one told Jacob and said, behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee. And Israel strengthened himself and sat upon his bed. Look at it, verse 3 now: And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me in Luz, in the land of Canaan, and blessed me and said unto me, behold, I will make thee fruitful and multiply thee I will make of thee a multitude of people, and I will give thee the land to thy seed for an everlasting possession. In reporting that statement, listen, look at what I'm saying. In the days that Jacob was outside the will of God, he was fine. But now, in the days he was coming to the will of God, his hip was out of joint. And he will now have to limp all his days. Because if you are com— if you are measuring alignment and what is right by how filled your table is with food, you will miss God. And I'm saying this specifically for someone who is thinking something is wrong with you. Now Jacob was saying, the encounter I had that night, the warfare, the battle, it was the Lord who appeared to me. When Saul was on his way, because you see similarity between the two guys, to Damascus, who appeared to— it was not an angel. It was Jesus that appeared to him because he said, why are you persecuting me? So it was one of the appearing of the Lord. He appeared in some texts before incarnation, and he appeared many times after resurrection. But you notice The moment he appeared to him, he was going to come change not just his name, because there is the life of Jacob and there is the life of Israel. The life, the life of Jacob is a life of smartness, planning. Let me share a story with you. I will not mention where so I can— so nobody can trace it. One time we were somewhere and it was typical of somewhere and A girl joined that place, and the girl was a desperate girl. She was hunting for guys that had prospects, and some of us were able to observe her and see her for who she was quickly. Later on, that desperation will lead her into a decision, and that decision will change the color of her life. There is the life of Jacob, which is the life of scheming. Making desperate conclusions, whether in the will of God or outside the will of God. What matters is what I get. And there's a life of Israel that is the life of resting absolutely on the promises of God and the pattern of God's blessing. For many of you under the sound of my voice You are undergoing the process of change of name from Jacob to Israel. And the issue with the change of name is that the future of Jacob is more predictable than the future of Israel. Jacob can predict his future by the things he can do, scheme, plan, go this and all that, and like Lot, keep his own lot. But once you become Israel, you have to feed on the portion of the Lord for you. So I've told you that a life of faith is not the life of certainty. If not, it will not be called faith. It's a life of uncertainty where you rest on the one who knows the future and relies solely on him. And many of you thought, or you think— because now Jacob was saying in Genesis 48, he said, the Lord met me. And when he was going to bring him into the blessing, he took away that part of him that was running. He will have to limp now. And the Bible said, after that encounter, the sun rose over him. Some of you are just too smart for God's plan. You are too quick. You are too intelligent. You are too— oh, you, you are too precise. You are— it doesn't work that way. I want everyone under the sound of my voice to get up on their feet. There's a prayer I want you to pray. It's a tough prayer. It's a tough one. Are you ready to pray it? Lift your voice and say, Father, Say it again now. Say, Father, whatever it will take. Say it again. Whatsoever it will take, deliver me from myself and put me in your will. Say it again. Father, whatever it will take, rescue me from me and establish me in your will. Lift your voice loud and clear and pray.

Whatsoever it will take. I have watched and I have discovered that I have the tendency to do more harm to myself. It has occurred to me that my life is safer in your hands. I have come to understand that if I keep digging this well outside you, it is superfluity of nothingness. Jesus, it has occurred to me that there is no safer place than to be in your will, and I have come to lay myself at your altar. That you will rescue me from me. Deliver me from the life of scheming. That which has made it impossible to enter your will. That which has made it impossible to rest in your will. That you will rescue me from me. You will rescue me from my smartness. One of the reasons why many believers are struggling is because they want to be the judge and the jury of their lives. You can't do it your way and have God's result. Let that sink. Sometimes you, you grew up in an— in the environment of Jacob. Where everyone are schemers and planners and fantastic people who know how to put 1 1 together and get 2. Everyone knows what to do. And God might have been telling you, and I'm gonna— because one of the things you'll see with the pattern of Jacob is lack. Poverty follows it. At the end of the day, it comes to nothing. Go check people who scheme. Go check people who know how to dribble God. At the end of the day, it comes to what? Nothing. It is only what God gives that lasts. It is only what God keeps that is kept. It is only what God holds that stands. So you see pattern of scheming of the best place you can be is in the will of God. And I will tell you this, if when you started your Christian walk, or you, you were given to doing things your way, going about life your own pattern, and you have gotten so many things from that, when you want to do God's will now, you have to learn the principle. Except a grain of wheat first fall to the ground and dies, it abides alone. You must understand that what looks like the, the wearing away, the process, the debt, that you've been stripped of the things that have come unjustly without being right, outside of God's plan, is part of the blessing. You must understand that when you bet outside God, what you bet is Ishmael. When Ishmael dies, it is not judgment, it's mercy, because Ishmael will become a terror later in future. So can I tell you this? Allow God kill not just your Isaac but your Ishmael too, because you've learned about Isaac's climbing the altar. It is important for Isaac to die, but there is one that is much more deeper level of mercy. Ismael needs to go. When you bet it outside of God's plan and he's taking it, thank him. Doesn't matter how big Oh, what Abraham is in heaven right now, he will always look down and remember that one day with Agar and look at what he betted. This is a prophetic morning. As a matter of fact, while I was praying before coming, what I sense on me is the spirit of prophecy. So sometimes Ishmael needs to go, and, um, and that's mercy. Look at David, experienced such mercy. Hope you know he went outside and begot a child with Bathsheba. And he wept and wept, but the child died. I'm not saying God is a killer, but you read your Bible well, you know God is not limited. He's not one-way traffic. What could that child have become worse than Absalom? You know, PPC platform is not just a platform where you get miracles and all that. It's a family devotion. It's where you become better Christian. I want everyone under the sound of my voice to go on their knees wherever you are, except you're listening on the road. Of course, you can't kneel down in the car. And say, Lord, whatsoever it is that I've been running with and doing life with that you did not intend to be a part of me, let them burn off. I release them. See, listen, release what you have been holding too tight. I release them. Whatsoever it is that I've been holding, trying to do life with, that you didn't intend to be a part of me, I release them in the name of Jesus. Jesus, thou Son of David, Help me. I release them. I stop every attempt to be skillful about my life, and I choose to submit to your will. I choose to trust your wisdom. Whatever doesn't look like you that are forcefully held and carried as part of my journey, I release them. Now I want you to pray, PPC family. I want you to pray that when you get to that point where you say, Lord, I submit to your will alone, that's the point of breakthrough. Whatever doesn't look like you that is still manifesting itself in me. Take it away from me. Take it away from me. Take it away from me. Take it away from me. Lord, I choose to trust you.

In Jesus' name we pray. Now look up, we're still going to pray. There are some of you who got separated from certain business partners or certain business models, and you're looking at those who are doing it, they are buying cars and building houses. And doing fantastic things for themselves. By the time God begins with you, many of those who are doing the wrong things will be in jail already. By the time God begins with you, you'll be shocked. You'll be shocked. Many of them will be in jail. Haste is dangerous. It is not the same thing as speed. God gives speed, men make haste. And in an attempt to catch up with the one that God has given speed, don't make haste. Wait.

Why?

Because when God carries you, you move at his pace. When God carries you, you move at his pace. You know, the way I live my life is I sit down and I imagine myself speaking as a 90-year-old man. What are the things that will matter? What are the things that will not even matter? It helps me make informed decisions. Don't get out of God's plan for your life because you want to catch up. You will complicate it. And go and check, everyone who remained Jacob became small. Check, check where you are coming from. Check. Smart, ah, they know how to do this, how to do that. Ah, if you take You take this loan from your office. Once you take that loan, it's car loan, you, yeah, or take the loan to build the house. You pay that loan for, for the— if you can spread it over 15 years, and different loans are on the table.

Why?

Because many of us never paused at any point to ask, what will you have me do, dear Lord. Never pause to ask. Others are doing it, I must do it. If it's— hey, listen, if it's not your pattern, you come back with regret. Others are trying it, that's what this one have done, that's what that one have done.

You don't carry the same covenant hanging over your head.

Sometimes those that you are better than are calling you to entice you to be like them, and you can't even see because you are rating yourself by certain yardstick. This morning, no. This is mass deliverance. You are about to make that decision and damn the consequence. This is God telling you don't. This one, no, it's deliverance. Less you will have to wait for another generation to see we can repair and use. Put your two hands on your head, everyone. I decree and declare in the name of Jesus Christ— ah, ah, hold on, no, ah, that there's a woman, oh, there's a woman, there's a woman, this is a middle-aged woman, you are not married, you used to be married. There's this guy coming around, you know this is trouble. In fact, it's worse than where you are coming from. You have seen it, but you are saying, I will do it regardless, I'm tired of being without a man. You are seeing it. What I'm seeing, you've not— you didn't see trouble where you are coming from. This is the trouble. This is the one designed to make sure that you don't become anything. This one is the weapon fashioned against you. Listen, the reason why this one is even peculiar is because you, you know, in fact you've discussed it with your friend, two of your friends. You discussed it and say, and, and, but, but you said at this, you are tired of being alone. It's a middle-aged woman. Go back to God now. And sometimes the pressure is strong because the plan of God is closer. When God makes a promise, before original shows up, the counterfeit will show up to know whether you believe everything God said. Listen, to everyone that God is speaking things to, giving you word for word, everything he said is going to bring your way. Don't settle for less till what God said comes to pass. John the Baptist, don't be quick to announce someone else till you meet the Messiah. Don't be quick to announce someone that looks like him, you'll cause problem. I decree and declare in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that everyone under the sound of my voice, you will not move ahead of God, you will not destroy your life. If there's any mistake you have made that is capable of bringing you down, I decree that the voice of mercy rise on your behalf.

Might be celebrated for a while, but I'm decreeing and declaring, and Ishmael can be a loan You've gone to sign deal, look at the interest rates, it keep increasing. You say, I don't know where I'm going to get the capital from. An Ishmael can be that you have borrowed from a friend, the person is going to embarrass you and disgrace you. Pay small, small, and God is not there. An Ishmael is quick decision. To catch up, to look like prophecy. It's an attempt to help God. God will deliver Ishmael from your back. God will rescue you from trouble. Any trouble you have set in motion that is yet to manifest, the mercy of God will tear it away. There's a young lady here who is being blackmailed. You got involved with a guy who is now blackmailing you, and I'm seeing messages. I will tell people so that they will know who you are. Femi Lazarus. I don't know who this young lady is. You're panicking every time. You're worried what's going to happen next. This person is not demanding for money, it's demanding for sex. You feel too ashamed to speak about this. If you will reach out to the contact on the screen for counseling, let's help you. Let's help you. You've been drained. You've been wallowing in shame. You've contemplated suicide. It won't be the end of your life, so let's help you. We take this up if you will reach out. Thank you, Lord Jesus. And I know that usually you don't stop till we look just like you. Strengthen all your children in the process. Let all be well. Those who are already in trouble, in debt, they don't even know how to pay. Those who are already in trouble. Ah, there's a case. Here is somebody at an office. They found something that you've done that you are to be sacked, but your boss said no, and it's because of that trying to get you on his bed. You've been wondering what should you do? Leave the job. Say it's your dream job. Dream again. Rescue your children, Lord. Ah, there are cases. O Lord, you know, when I came this morning, let me tell you this. When I told you, when I was praying, there's— I woke up with a very strong prophetic hand of God upon my head this morning, and I just felt I was just going to teach you the burdens God was bringing in my heart and the things he's revealed, and Make sure every morning when PPC is starting, you are here early, because that's usually most times when I give the word.

Good morning, PPC family. Welcome to another testimony session. I'm super, super excited this morning for what God is set to do in our midst and for the testimony testimonies that will be coming forth, and I'm so sure that as you key into them, your testimony is on the way. I want to celebrate my spiritual parents, especially Apostle Femi Lazarus and Pastor Miracle Femi Lazarus, for this great privilege to bring us testimonies of what God is doing in our midst. And as we share, key into them. We have countless testimonies of people keying into others' testimonies and receiving theirs, and I see that being your testimony in the name of Jesus. All right, the first testimony I'll be reading this morning goes thus: Good morning, PPC family. Good morning, Apostle Femi Lazarus. With fullness of joy and gladness from the bottom of my heart, I finally have a reason to testify to God's endless grace over my life. Since I concluded my NYSC, I've only been living on a side job. However, while I was in service, my PPA promised retainment. However, toward the end of my service year, it was compromised. But to the glory of God, I got a call from the HR to resume as a full staff this coming month, and I want to give God— can we celebrate Jesus? Hallelujah! What an amazing, amazing testimony. You see that call that you have waited for for so long? I see it coming your way in the name of Jesus. Come on, put in the comment section, thank you, Jesus. Indeed, God is good, and we cannot thank him enough. Father, we give you praise. All right, the next testimony, um, goes thus: Good morning, Apostle. Good morning, PPC family. Says, I am super, super grateful to God. Um, he said, I had prayed for a better job, and God just answered my prayer. Hallelujah! Can we celebrate Jesus? Kwai shor, but powerful indeed. God in the midst of his people is mighty, and God is still giving out good gifts to his children. Can we thank the Lord for his goodness? And I see that yours is next in line. If you're trusting God for this kind, it's a good time to tune in and to, you know, connect by faith. And I see that God is handing out your own testimony to you in the name of Jesus. Um, the Lord has done it and his work is marvelous in my eyes. Hallelujah, said my testimony is here, said I passed my bar exams with a second class upper division. My heart is full of gratitude to this God who made it possible. Can we celebrate Jesus? Indeed, he is a covenant we enjoy on this mountain. Many have asked, how do I give my life to Christ?

I want to make it very, very simple and introduce you today to the person of Jesus. Paul, speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 from verse 1, said, I deliver unto you the gospel that you have received and also believed, and wherein you stand. How that Christ came and died for our sins according to scriptures, and he was buried according to scriptures, and he rose on the third day according to the scriptures. When he died, he died for our sins. When he was buried, he was buried, and the Bible said he went into the lower part of the earth and set the captives free. And when he rose on the third day, he rose for our justification. And now we are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this, whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord, I'd like to lead you to Christ. And that is exactly why I'm here this morning. You want to say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord. My Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life in Jesus' name. Amen. Now, if you have said that prayer, I can tell you for surely that there is so much joy in heaven right now. There's so, so much joy. You have made the right step, and I want to encourage you, there is a barcode on the screen.
