God, welcome to the presence of God, welcome to another Bible study. Ensure you're doing that, you're walking to one or two people, welcome them, give them a warm smile, a warm handshake, tell them welcome.
Hallelujah!
It's another beautiful time in the presence of the Lord. And as the psalmist said, he said, I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of the Lord. I don't know if you are like the psalmist tonight, like me. I'd like you to lift up your voices and bless the name of Jesus. For the privilege to appear before his presence, for the privilege to come. Your love has drawn us and we have come, Jesus. We have come to your throne, to your feet. We give you praise, Jesus. We worship you, we worship you, we exalt you. Thank him for his intentionality over your life. Thank you for the things he is doing in and through your life. It is of the mercies of the Lord that we are not consumed. If not the Lord that had been on our side, now may Israel say. If not for the Lord that had been on our side, now may Israel say. Can we go ahead and thank him? Can we thank him? Can we thank him? Can we thank him? Can we thank him? Mande braha sotelebrante kera. Eruba balateske pande priatas kopaila. Bless the name of Jesus tonight. Lift up your voices, he wants to hear you. Exalt him. Oh, Father, we give you praise. Father, we worship you. We exalt you. As a people of faith, we say thank you. Thank you for your word that is ever fresh in the house. Can you go ahead and commit the service into the hand of the Lord this evening? Ask the hand of God that the hand of God will be evidently seen in tonight's service, that the Spirit of God will find free course in our midst. Can you go ahead and make that your prayer? That the word will come expressly, that there will be the hearing of faith and the working of miracles in the name of Jesus. Go ahead and make that your prayer this evening. Mande kapra hattes ko pai, libra hando si brahates ki pa. We thank you because your word is coming with power. For you sent forth your word and your word healed them and delivered them of all their We thank you because your word comes yet again. We thank you because your word liberates us. We thank you because your word energizes us. We thank you because your word empowers us. We thank you because your word liberates us. It gives us freedom. It gives us liberty. It gives us joy. We are renewed from the inside out. We say thank you, Jesus. Ola barateske pranta kilabo shatai. Ema hando si brakatela. For in Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Now let us lift up our voice and thank Jesus for his goodness over your life. I want you to reflect for one minute. Think about how far he has brought you. Think about how far he has brought you. I mean, we are in the final week in the month of November, which is the second to the last month in the year 2023. Can you remember how it started? It is the mercy of God that has kept us. Oh, I don't know about you, but that's my testimony. So can you lift up your hands to your Father? You're not lifting up your hands to me, you're not lifting up your hands to any of the pastors, you are lifting up your hands to Jesus, the one who is the mediator of the new covenant, the one who is the firstborn from the dead, the one who is the pattern son, the El Shaddai, the Elohim God. Can you lift up your voice and worship him? Thank you, Jesus. My victory is in your blood. My confidence is in your name, Jesus. You took the pain so I could smile. So much you did without a price. That's why I sing.
Ese, ese, ese o emashi.
Yes, Lord.
Ese olubala.
Eshewo, emashe. Can you lift up your hands all over this house and bless the name of Jesus? E la barateske pranta ko pariateske paya, ziro pante kapadia soprande. We bless you, Jesus. We give you praise. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord.
We thank you, Lord.
Go ahead and bless the name of Jesus. Let his praises be on our lips this evening.
From the depth of your heart, lift your voice. Thank you for how much you've helped us. We give you glory. Come on, lift up your hands wherever you are and bless the name of Jesus.
Worship him, worship him, worship him.
Let his praises be upon your lips this evening.
Lift up your hands, lift up your voice, and declare, let his worship rise, let his worship rise on your lips. Lift your voices and say, eje, eje, eje, eje, eje, eje, eje. Thank you, thank you, Jesus. Eje, eje, eje, eje, eje. Eshew. Eshew. Can we lift up our hands and sing it one more time? Eshew. Eshew.
Thank you, Jesus.
Eshew.
See how far you've helped us.
Eshew.
I'd like you to ponder upon the goodness of God. Arabakotia. If not for the mercies of God, now may Israel say I am. Where the proud waves wanted to swallow us, but the mercy of the Lord said no. You look past my sin, my guilt, my shame, and poured your love. You look beyond me, oh Jesus. You look beyond me, oh You look past my sin, my guilt, my shame, and poured your love, oh God. You look beyond me, oh. Aye, you look beyond. That's the story of my life. I don't know about you. You look past my sin, my guilt, my shame, and poured your love. You look beyond me, oh. Oh Lord, you look beyond me, oh. Hey, you look past my sin, my guilt, my shame, and pour your love. You look beyond me, oh. You look beyond me, oh. And I love this part that says, ah, I'm the one that you have showed mercy.
Aya!
You have shown me mercy. Hey! You have shown me mercy. I don't know the story of your life, but the story of my life is, oh, I'm the one that you have shown mercy. You have shown me mercy. You have shown—
sing!
You look past my sin.
You pass my sin by. You have shown me mercy. I'm the one that you have shown mercy! You have showed me mercy! Hey Lord, hey Lord, I am God, I am the very one who has given me mercy! Yes, yes, yeah, yeah, you have showed me grace! I'm the one, I'm the very one— I'm the one that you have You have shown me mercy. You have shown me grace. You have shown me mercy. I'm the one, I'm the very one, I'm the one that you have shown mercy.
You have shown me mercy.
You have shown me mercy. You look past my sin. You look past My sin, my guilt, my shame— And for your love you look beyond me! You look beyond me! Lord, you move beyond me! You move beyond me! Your hope past my sin, my guilt— Past my sin, my guilt, my shame— And for your love you look beyond me! You look beyond me! Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh! Are you ready? Lift your voice and say I'm the one! I'm the one! 'Cause you have shown me mercy! You have showed me mercy! Yes, yes, you have showed me— you have showed me mercy! Hey, I'm the very one that you have showed mercy! You have showed me mercy!
Amen, amen, amen. Good morning, everyone. Good to see you this morning. God bless you so much. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. Amen. Now, as we start, I'd like for you to invite someone this morning. I'd like for you to take a moment. This is the final PPC meeting for 2023. All right, I don't know about you, but I'm excited, at the same time emotional also. Amen. All right, I'm so excited because God has been good to us. God has been good to us. And you know what, this morning is filled with loads of instructions, loads of instructions. And, um, I'm going to be praying for you. I'm going to be, you know, releasing blessings as we enter into the new year. Amen. And I like for you to be very sensitive. One of the very crucial things I'm going to teach you this morning is to learn, you see, and understand, um, particularly around this season of the year, prophecies, you know, fly around different corners from, you know, one place to another, how to understand what the Lord is saying, what is yours and what is not yours. Amen. But as we get into that, I want you to invite one or two people, okay? And just invite them to come and share, you know, the link with them and say it's time for us to pray together. But before we start this morning, I want us to worship God. I want the media team to— we're going to raise a sound of worship again. Amen. And this kind of worship, I want to give you 5 solid minutes. If you can lay on the floor where you are, please do so, because God has been good. Just don't lay on the floor if you are driving, all right, or if you're on a bus, particularly in Lagos, you know. Now people are angry, don't take long, they'll just go and grab you. Amen. That's on a lighter note. All right, I just want us to, you know, be grateful to God. I want us to be grateful. So I'm going to get out of your way. We're going to play a worship sound. There's this particular one, um, I'm not sure the media has it, but let me get it across. So I want us to worship God specially this morning, specially. Beloved, God has been good to us. Amen. God has been good to us. God has been good to us. Okay, this might take time, um, this might take time, so we, we do other ones. Amen. We do other ones. We raise the sound of worship. They have worship sound there, and I'm going to get out of your way so that, you know, both yourself and myself, every one of us, we, you know, raise that sound where we have and just bless the name of the Lord from the very depth of our heart. This is the final PPC for the year, so it's very critical, very important what we do with it. Amen. All right, media, over to you now.
Yes, Lord. Can you lift up your hands all over this house and bless the name of Jesus? We bless you, Jesus. We give you praise. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. Go ahead and bless the name of Jesus. Let his praises be on our lips this evening.
From the depth of your heart, lift your voice. Eshew! Ahh! Tobarani Eshew! Eshew! Enamara Teskepai— lift your voice and say Jesus Eshew! We give you glory, Jesus. Thank you for how much you've helped us to grow up into who we're supposed to be. We give you glory. Come on, lift up your hands wherever you are and bless the name of Jesus.
Worship him, worship him, worship him.
Let his praises be upon your lips this evening.
Lift up your hands, lift up your voice and declare, let his worship rise, let his worship rise on your lips. Lift your voices and say, "Ese, ese, ese, ese, ese, ese, ese, ese." Thank you, thank you, Jesus. Ese, ese, ese, ese, ese, ese. Eshew! Eshew! Eshew!
Can we lift up our hands and sing one more time?
Eshew! Eshew!
Thank you, Jesus!
Eshew!
See how far you've helped us!
Eshew!
I'd like you to ponder upon the goodness of God. We are. If not for the mercies of God, now may Israel say, I am. When the proud waves wanted to swallow us, but the mercy of the Lord said no.
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. You deserve the praise. He deserves the praise. Oh, hallelujah! Amen, amen. You know, you know, um, as the year is running out, it is important that we do not round up the year like the children of Israel did, murmuring against God. The same guys that God brought out of Egypt having fought Egypt with 10 plagues. The same guy, the same guys that God parted the Red Sea from for, and they walked on dry ground. The same guys that God caused manna to rain down from heaven for. The Bible said they grieved the Holy One of Israel. Because they were unthankful. They were not grateful. They did not see anything special in what God is doing. They believe it is common. In fact, at some point they began to ask, why? Who asked you to rescue us? We prefer the garlics, the cucumber, the melon, the leeks that we are eating in Egypt. But they forgot about the slavery. Okay, and the Bible said all that generation that left Egypt, that grieved God, that grieved the Holy One of Israel, they died in the wilderness. As a matter of fact, this is my teaching during Crossover, that there is a state of mind a man will have that even God will not be able to help you. Okay, one of the ways to, um, one of the ways to walk in victory perpetually is to master the heart of worship and genuine thanksgiving. Genuine thanksgiving. Genuine thanksgiving. In fact, it is important, sorry, that we see everything God is doing as special. Everything he's doing. So when we come to that place of worship, we are not doing it it as one of the ways to start prayer, we are genuinely retrospective, okay? And we can see his goodness. Um, I think the Yorubas will say that the one who knows how to think deeply will know how to give thanks. That is, the one who is really thinking deeply. So what they are simply saying is that it takes shallowness not to see God. Jeremiah 30:19 says, out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry. In fact, I like to say, out of me, out of us shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry. I will multiply you, you will not be few. I will glorify them, they will not be small. In fact, I'm specially inviting you for crossover service in any of our centers: in Abuja, in Ibadan, in Lagos, in Abeokuta, in Ile-Ife. In Kano. You have to come because we are going to be— one of the very serious things we're going to be doing that is very prophetic is dancing.
Dancing.
I know some of you can't dance to save your life, including me, but we are going to put on our dancing shoes that day. They're already making my own shoe for dancing. Even if the whole thing gets to the point where the whole thing is scattered, jump. It has happened before, okay? If you don't know what to do, somebody is doing better, doing legwork, whatever, let them do what they can do. See, let me tell you something. God is one that accepts dance. When it gets to where it is scattered, you don't know where the beat is, go everything, start jumping. As much as it is gratitude, the one who marks register in heaven accept our own dance. Those of us who can't dance like the rest, maybe my daughter has overtaken me.
Amen.
But that thing that is coming from the depth of our heart, that we are excited, that, that excitement. I'm just remembering my dance again, and my dance is funny to me, but anyways, nobody is marking the register. It's God who is accepting it. And God said, I am pleased with you. In fact, as far as God is concerned, those of us who can't really dance are the best dancers in the world. Some speak in understanding, some speak in tongues. Maybe we are dancing in tongues, okay? We dance as inspired. It's not a doctrine because people are very serious. I just see trending, Apostle Lazarus said he's dancing in tongues, but who knows?
Amen. So we dance.
There's this dance in Yoruba we call Ika otunwa, you know, and anyone, no matter You see, sometimes when I'm dancing and I remember, oh, it's dance, I'm dancing, right? My mind is catching up. Praise God. What I'm saying is that put on your dancing shoe and roll, dance like David did. When David danced, when the Ark of Covenant returned back, Micah looked at him from the window with disdain, and he wanted to have the six-pack. The broad chest all to herself. And she said, look at you, you are dancing like the common men in Israel. Then David said to her, he said, well, what I know is I am dancing before the God who chose me as king and preferred me above your father. That's savage. King David is not nice. The guy wasn't nice. That's savage. Ah, savage response. I don't know what Gen Z will call it now. Is it OT? Okay, that was what he said. And the Bible said from that day our womb was shut. So it means that ingratitude attracts barrenness, not just in terms of childbearing, but barrenness of everything. Because Jeremiah 30:19 gave us the clue: out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry. He said, I will glorify them, they will not be small. I will multiply them, they will not be that is when we give thanks. See, Thanksgiving is not just about dancing.
Make merry, laugh. I've seen people dancing and they are frowning. How are you doing it? What's going on? It should be studied. Guinness Book of Records. Make merry, make melody. Let it come from the depth of your heart. Rejoice in the Lord even this morning.
Laugh.
It's a way of saying, God, I know you are in charge. I may not have it figured out, but I know you have it figured out. I'm going to rejoice, I'm going to dance, I'm going to laugh throughout the remaining part of this year because you have been good to us and you deserve all the praise and all the glory. For God's sake, there's been so many uncertainties this year, but we came out.
Uh-uh, we came out. In fact, if it was about forecast, some people thought that by now you not exist again.
But it is of the Lord's mercy we are not consumed. Some thought that the waters would have swept you away. Some thought that those things would have wiped you off, that you, you stand no chance. Some had predicted that by the time this and that will hit them, pam, there's nothing more again. But who is it that says it when God has not spoken?
Here we are standing gallant, bouncing, rejoicing in the Lord, giving praise. Give him praise.
Thank him.
Oh, just give God praise and bless his holy name.
He deserves the praise.
He deserves all the honor. There's absolutely none like him. So I want you to give him praise and say, Father, I acknowledge you as God. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Oh, thank you. The Bible said in Romans 1, he said, because they knew him, neither did they all right, acknowledge him as God. And they were not thankful. They became vain in their imagination and their heart was darkened. Let's be thankful. Let's be thankful. Let's be thankful. Let's be thankful. Let's be thankful. This is the last PPC for the year, so be a good ambassador. Invite somebody. Invite somebody and let's just give God thanks because he deserves all the praise. Deserves all the honor, deserves all the adoration, and there's none like him. Oh yes, I love what somebody said. Say, I laugh till people get angry. I don't know how you are doing this, but it isn't funny to me. I mean, but it's beautiful that we laugh.
A merry heart doeth good like medicine. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh. When he that sitteth in the heavens laugh, we too seated with him far above all principalities shall laugh. In fact, Job said, as far as mine have destruction, I will laugh.
Oh, thank you, Lord. Give him praise. Thank you, Lord.
He will sit in heaven, laugh.
He will sit in heaven, laugh. I sit in heaven, so I laugh. Oh yes, give him praise. Oh, thank you, Jesus. You know what you're going to do for the next 2 minutes? Pick your own song. Pick your own song, all right, and sing it to the Lord. You want to get up and shake your body and dance. Don't worry about the drum, just, just pick your own song and make it loud.
Make it loud.
Raise the sound. Pick your own song. Pick your own song. Pick your own sound, all right, and just give God praise. Pick your own sound and give God praise. Because he deserves all praise. He deserves it. Deserves it. Let's bless him. You have the next 2 minutes to do so. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, we bless your holy name. Oh, we bless you, Lord. We bless you, Lord. You are holy. And forever you are God. We bless you, Lord. You are holy and forever you are God. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. You are God. We bless you, Lord, you are holy and forever you are God. We bless you, Lord, you are holy and forever you are God. Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Eshu, bless him.
If not for the Lord who is on our side, what shall we now say? It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed. There's a song that says, oshetu doju aduratini, thank you for not putting me to shame. Let's thank him, let's thank him, let's thank him. Oh, whatever it is you are doing, you run an organization, you run a business, you run a ministry, you run a platform, make sure you wrap the year up with thanks Thanksgiving is giving. You're giving thanks to God. Oh, we bless you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we are praying. Now let me make a few announcements, um, by the grace of God. All right, this is the last PPC, Prophetic Prayer Contact, for the year 2023. Amen. How many of us are grateful to God? I know some of you are saying, oh, thank God, I'll be able to sleep very well. Are you grateful to God? All right, last PPC for the year 2023, and God has been good. It's been good. All right, the next time we resume after this morning will be on the 8th of January, 2024. On the 8th of January, 2024. On the 8th of January, 2024. Now, usually in the month of January, we have 30 days fasting. Usually we do have 30 days fasting where we begin from 2nd of January, but this year The Lord has called for 21 days, all right, for reasons, um, don't dream, all right, 21 days, meaning that fasting begins by 10th of January. I, I feel— why do I feel somebody is happy? I just felt somebody say, ah, 21 days, thank you. Too much is given what is expected. All of us can start by 2nd. All right, so 21 days. So that's how we start the year. All right, we start the year with twofold of sacrifice. We start the year with fasting, then we wrap up the fasting with first fruit. That's the way we have always, you know, done it. I, I don't want you to— don't ever get scared of fasting. Prepare your heart. All right, as we go with a fast into the new year, waiting upon the Lord you know, for the things he will do. Pray ahead. Now, unlike every other year, this year we're going to have prayer watches during the fasting. It will be announced as soon as we are back. We're going to be having prayer watches, all right, for the fasting period. So it's not just going to be PPC eat around, there'll be prayer watches throughout the day, all right. Very, very important. Amen. Amen. Now also, there's an announcement on the 31st of, um, December, this same December, which is on Sunday evening. All right, crossover services hold in across all our centers, all our centers. God has placed the word in my spirit for the year 2024. All right, and I, I want you to be very, very very, very expectant. It's always prophetic. It's always prophetic. All right, and I want you to join me live. Amen. If you're in the city of Abuja, I want you to be on ground live. All right, Giverey Parks and Gardens, Area 10, opposite Malakalas. You have to be on ground. It is not a meeting that you are to be told about at all. Amen. And amazingly, you have to also come early. We start by 9. We're going to be having amazing worship and praise session. And as amazing as our facility is, it can't take us anymore. So you just have to make sure you're on time. Amen. So these are the announcements I want to give. Now I want to give you instructions as the year ends. All right, I want to give you instructions, um, as the year ends. And these are instructions to hold in preparation for 2024. Now, I've received mails from individuals who are connected from places or countries where they will not be able to have crossover service across board, and they have been asking if crossover service will hold here for them to livestream. Yes, there will be crossover service for you to livestream. I'm not sure we are still live. All right, so there will be crossover service for you to be able to livestream across board. All right, so you can join our platforms and we will be live online with you. Praise God! Regardless of the timeline or the time zone of the countries. Now the Lord gave me certain instructions to give you as we cross into 2024. And one of the instructions is, right, this may not be the same for everyone, and this might be for majority of people: start again with God. Start again with God. Start again with God. All right, what does this mean? Start again with God. This means that you should All the things that you wish, you wish to have done, that you wanted to have done with God, the way you wanted to serve him, the way you wanted to be a dedicated Christian, the way you wanted to love him more, the way you wanted to, all right, do the things you wanted to do, start again, all right? Don't sit down wallowing in discouragement and saying things like maybe God doesn't love you 'Oh, these things are not for you.' No, no, no. Start again. Start afresh. You can get it right. You can get prayer right. You can get the study of the word right. You can get fasting right. Amen. Start again with God. And listen, the Bible said, 'Unto him that is able to keep you from falling and present you spotless before God.' all right, so he's able to hold you. Start again with God. That, that, that's one of the instructions I'm giving you, all right? Start a new walk with him. Start a new walk with God. Start a new walk with God, all right? You've had excuses, things you wanted to do. You wanted to walk with God, you wanted to fellowship more, you wanted to pray more, but you've not been able to do that in 2023. Start again. Start again. It's okay to start again. Amen. The second instruction, hmm, this is critical: learn to live a covenanted life. Now, many people don't understand how serious this is. Learn to live a covenanted life. That is a life— learn to live a life that is bigger than you. Don't live for yourself alone. Don't live for yourself alone. Live a covenanted life. Covenant is powerful. All right, live a covenanted life, covenant of praise. For instance, in our church Praise is a covenant. God said, as often as you praise me, you will not lack reasons to praise me. And that's why in our confession you hear us say that Sphère of Light Church is the epicenter of God's praise. You see, the things that you are doing but not on the base of covenant, you have already set up yourself to not take it serious. Amen. Live a covenanted life. For instance, you can have a covenanted hour of prayer, covenanted giving in your local church. And when I talk about this giving, I'm not talking about here because I know that people are joining from across the board in the body of Christ. All right, where a man's treasure is, that's where his heart will be. Do you know in 2024 you can be a better giver in your local church towards the cause of the gospel? Covenantally, all right, that I'm going to do this, I'm going to step up now, all right. I'm showing you secret. As God lifts you, you are wrapping up the year, all right. I do not expect you to commence the new year at the same level you were. You step it up in the places that God has placed you. Are you following me now? All right, very important. Okay, now pay attention to the instructions God gave you in 2023 that you did not do because they were grievous. Maybe you were in some meeting and God said, son or daughter, I want you to give this, but you were not able to give it because you were terrified. And for such reasons, you've not been able to step into the best of God or the fullness of God for you. All right, God gives instruction. And what we need to understand, you see, the media world has— they have painted God the way the devil did in Genesis 3, that he's a wicked God, he doesn't want you to be like him. The media world has painted it so that they love you more than God. So when God instructs a giving, then God must be scamming you. So we love you, so forget about what he's saying. And then no, no, it doesn't work that way. I mean, what he's asking for is supplied in the first place. And oftentimes when God gives instructions around this, it is because he wants to bring you into something bigger. You must understand that.
It is because he wants to give you—
bring you to something bigger.
All right, become more obedient. Become more obedient.
Become more obedient.
Now do less media, do plenty intimacy so you will not be confused.
Less media, less media, plenty intimacy, plenty moment with God so you will not be carried away by the flood of opinions of men.
Sometimes what somebody is attacking is God's covenant with you.
Say the year is starting now, some mumungu— sorry, I use that word, that's what they use. Will go and give their salary to one pastor.
You're not giving to a pastor, it is sacrifice to God's work. So out of peer pressure, societal pressure, let's say, ah, me too, I'm not a fool.
Listen to what I'm saying.
We, we must understand that there is a clear demarcation between the world and the church, and the wisdom that drives them both is different. This wisdom is foolishness to them that are perishing. They can't understand it. The Bible says that it is spiritually discerned They don't understand it. How can giving equate equal to receiving? They can't understand. It doesn't make sense to them.
It doesn't make sense to them.
How will you be praying every time? So you are praying, you are praying. What are you doing? Leave prayer, face this. When they forget that though we walk in the flesh, we don't walk according to the flesh. Do less media, do plenty intimacy. See, listen, you must know what God is saying to you by yourself so that by the time people start talking, see, people start jabbing and say all those things, you know. Can I pretend not to know what I've heard? How can I pretend not to know what God has said to me?
How can I pretend not to know that this is a covenant between me and God?
How can I pretend? How can I pretend? Never, never have anything that is another God in your heart.
And I'm telling you, many believers have not been able to enter into their rest because year in and year out they are smarter than God.
They outsmart him.
Ah, hey God, I don't really trust you with this decision of my life. Be careful.
Are you with me now?
Now, this is a very important one. All right, so that has been said.
Give— do covenanted living.
Covenanted living. Do covenanted living, a lot of it, between you and God. Moment of prayer, moment of study. Put time to it. That's how we become intense. We don't become intense by just doing things when we feel like. Covenant, this thing constrains us, constrains us.
Then some of you never studied the Bible this year. Some of you never studied the Bible this year. I don't know if I will have a release yet.
I—
this is one thing I'm so passionate about.
I wish I could just put all of you in a, in a club or something. What I mean by club is like a platform where every morning we have devotion together. And reading certain passages of the scriptures.
But what I'm saying is get partners. This coming year, read the Bible, read the Bible, read the Bible, read the Bible, read the Bible. If you do 2 chapters per day or 4 chapters per day or 6 chapters per day, make sure you read. Or even if it is 1, read the Bible daily. Let there be a structure. See, you have no structure if it doesn't constrain you.
You have no structure if you can do anything you like just when you like it.
Structure constrains. Have structure for the study of the Bible. Amen. Are you following what I'm saying here? Read the Bible. As the year is starting, we'll be reading it again. This year is going— read, start reading the Bible. I'm not just preaching, I'm reading my Bible. My Bible is marked, thoroughly marked. My tab is marked, all the Bible apps marked. Reading, eating, digesting. This is how you become strong. Know God for yourself. Read the Bible, read the Bible. Have a platform with friends. See, even if you are not together, like-minded people, discuss it today.
Call them. Let's have our platform, morning devotion. Somebody is in America, somebody is in Canada, somebody is in Lagos.
It doesn't matter.
Zoom in the morning, even if it should be 30 minutes, the free version. Everybody come together. Today we are starting with the book of— what's it called now? Let's say the book of Isaiah. Okay, and we're going to read 2 chapters every day, and then one person will summarize, and then we pray.
This thing called spiritual activity The secret of mastery is consistency. The one that will be intense is the one that is consistent, not the one that just do 24 hours prayer stretch one day, will never see me again for another 6 months. If what you—
if what you can do conveniently—
it doesn't have to be convenient, all right, but what you can keep up with is, let's say, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and you can do it every day. You will be strong, stronger than the one who just do—
who does it and run, and run away.
Somebody said that a Bible that is tearing apart is often—
is it owned by someone whose life is not tearing apart? Yeah, I think so, something like that. All right, so form, form, form a circle, form— have your own team, your own tribe. Friends, like-minded friends. Don't have anybody who is procrastinator amongst them because that one will frustrate you. Have people you know that love God, are consistent. Then have a schedule for the Bible. Let's say for instance PPC starts every day by 6 AM in the morning, you can start your own Bible reading by 5:30, okay? And then you can do 2 chapters, let's say 5:30, 5:55. Then you summarize. As long as it is consistent, you will be growing. Before you know it, you are devouring 25 chapters and staying on it. So make sure you have structures that enables consistency. That's how to be systemic with our spiritual work. Amen. Structures that enables what? Consistency, consistency, consistency. Are you with me now?
Very important.
All right, so have structure for the Bible.
Now look at this, as the year is ending, be very careful about the prophecies you take. Be very careful. Will there be prophets of disaster?
Yes. Listen, you must understand that till Jesus comes, there is prophecy for Egypt and there's prophecy for Goshen.
Egypt is not going to get any better. Behold, darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the people. That's Egypt. Where's Goshen? But the light of the Lord shall arise upon thee. That's Goshen. There is prophecy for the world— destruction, disaster, peril, danger, famine. It's for the world. Though we are in the world, we are not of the world. But there is— in the sea, light is best appreciated when darkness is thick.
In the midst of that thickness, in the midst of that thick darkness, the Bible said, yet the light of the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. When the days where kings will call sons of God father, when the days where kings will come, show us the way, show us the way of the Lord, the Bible says that the, the mountains will flow to her.
He said the mountain of the Lord shall be exalted above all hills. And nations will flow to her.
Obadiah 1, the last verse says, it will come to pass that savior shall arise out of Mount Zion.
There is prophecy for Egypt, but there is prophecy for Goshen. There's the reality of the children of God. There's the— there's our reality as God's children. There is our reality. The reason why I'm saying this is so that you do not get confused as touching what God is saying about your life.
Amen.
You do not get confused.
Oh, praise God! Are you with me now? Are you with me? All right, very important. The case of the world is not going to get any better till Jesus comes, but the church is in a phase of illumination. The church is in a phase of illumination. The church is in a phase of illumination. All right, the church is in a place of illumination. Now let me give you this, even as, um, we wrap up. Let me give you this, very important. In 2024, all right, do a lot of thanksgiving. Don't just pray. Do a lot of thanksgiving. Are you with me? In 2024, do a lot of what? Thanksgiving. So we are going to be very, very intentional, intentional, intentional. I'm going to tell our, um, what's it called now, uh, choir called Streams of Life, they're going to help us cook together some worship and dance sessions so we can begin the year with dancing. 2024, no grief for anybody. Dance. Mm, na ba for anybody. I love that statement when I heard it. Okay, not like you should be stubborn. I mean dance. Amen. We will become more deliberate. Amen. And I don't want to leave any one of you behind. I don't want to leave any one of you behind, so I'm going to carry you along. All right, I'm going to include it as part of my remind— what I'm reminding you of every day. PPC, have you read your Bible today? Okay, so that you are not left behind. All right, another thing I can do, let me know how that works for you, is that I can help you build a Bible study plan. I can help you build a Bible study plan. If there's any secret to my life, is the ability to be consistent with the same thing, to be consistent. And I told some people recently, we're saying that, where is this Apostle Femi Lazarus coming from? I've been doing this thing January 5th, makes it 15 years.
Yeah, if I make it 15 years of dedicated pursuit of doing the same thing—
come sun, come rain, come shine.
Are you with me now? Consistency, very important. Do a lot of thanksgiving.
A lot of appreciation, a lot of thanksgiving to God. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord.
So I'm gonna—
okay, I can see people, right? I'm gonna, all right, draft out a Bible study plan. So the same way we have announcement on the board, there's going to be the announcement of the Bible study. I want to— that's my passion. I want to help you get it right spiritually. I want to demystify this thing as touching the fact that Maybe it is compulsory for people to struggle with their spiritual life. It's not compulsory. We'll get it right.
Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid.
Don't sit down and say, I don't know, maybe it's the enemy, my father's house. Forget about that one. There's another father. He's the real father. He's God. You're a new man in him, all right? And that God has assigned structures around you. We're going to pull our hands together and get it right. Prayer will be gotten right. Study will be gotten right. Fasting will be gotten right. Are you following what I'm saying here? Very important. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you. Somebody said 8th of January is far. I will miss you guys too, but all right, because we start the year with loads of activity. You know, I talk about covenantal living. I have my covenantal way of starting the year, and this is not like a commercial for— but I mean, this is someone I respect so much. I like to always start my year. I don't I don't know about anyone. I personally like to always start my year with WAFBEC. I don't know, I just love it. I love to sit down under that atmosphere and just receive the word and instructions of the Spirit. That's how I like to start the year. And for me, it's a practice. So I'm specially inviting you to WAFBEC or WAFBEC 2024. Amen. I'm sorry, I look forward to it. And if you'll be coming to Wolfpack, I'll be coming, and I look forward to seeing you at Wolfpack. Just that, let's keep it very, very calm. Amen. I look forward to see— you know, you can identify me, I may not be able to. All right, so I really look forward to meeting people that we have been praying together every morning, and you know, yeah, and then meeting them, you know, meeting you guys will be so amazing. So that's how I start the year. That's how I start the year. That's how I start the year. I don't like to miss it, you know. So once I'm done with that, then we now commence, um, PPC the following week. Hallelujah! Amen! Okay, thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Lord. Oh, we give you praise. We give you praise. Let me ask you a question. Are you really grateful to God for this year? Are you sure? Let me ask you again. Are you sure you are really grateful to God for this year? All right, in one minute, let's say thank you. You know, there's this heartfelt thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And maybe I should say this publicly. I don't know. You know, I think I should. I didn't put it out on social media for a reason, but I think I should say it publicly. You know, when I was— when we were coming to Abuja, around the time coming to Abuja, and this might be— this might shock many people. And maybe, maybe there's a lesson to learn from it when it comes to living a life of covenant. Maybe this might be a lesson to learn, you know. God just gave me some instructions and said, you know what, let your car go and then trust me. I wanted to buy, he said don't buy. He said just trust me, you know. It became, it became quite a burden, yeah, having to, you know, do work at this level and, you know, you can't do it the way you want to do it and take Bolt everywhere. I think, was it yesterday or day before yesterday, we're going to start a retreat. In fact, the reason why I'm at this place, because we're on a retreat at the moment, and I stepped out and I saw that some people came together to put a car together, and it was such an emotional moment. And as I'm saying it, I still feel so emotional. I still feel so emotional. I would have loved them there to show you the video, but Maybe, I don't know, social media can be— no, maybe there's no need. Maybe there's no need. There's no need. All right, but I mean, I feel so emotional and I feel so grateful for the privilege to serve God, to serve his children. Um, I mean, you know, some people do not understand that many of the things we do, there are loads of instructions that are behind the sin. Some that are not convenient at all. Some that— but God is a rewarder, you see that. I'm just saying this so that somebody somewhere is encouraged, you know. I think, um, this December— so I just kept asking her, what's the date? All right, you make it a year plus that God said drop your car and, you know, just follow me. Yeah, just follow me. You know, sometimes I want to enter boat and the boat person is looking at me like, I know you somewhere. You know, and, um, but, but I mean, we serve a God who is good, who is rewarding. And sometimes God gives you instruction. I know, I remember the story of Apostle Selman. He said he even went somewhere, he went somewhere to, to go buy a car himself, and God asked him, what are you doing here? And he went back. And even in the time Koinonia was being heard about everywhere in the world, the man of God was coming on bike Talk about covenantal living. You know, when people see how God lifts people and people don't understand sometimes the things behind the scene, the instructions, the things— I'm just saying this, you know, so that somebody somewhere doesn't feel that maybe you are failing because of the instructions you are living by. You know, don't feel that way. I'm just, you know, yeah. Yeah, are you following what I'm saying here? You know, so I want to specially say it. I feel so emotional saying it again. I want to specially appreciate everyone, everyone, the team, everyone, everyone that came together. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. And, um, for those who have been following our ministry, has been blessed by the teachings and everything. I want you to know it won't stop. We keep doing more, all right? But I want to just say a big thank you to God. So this morning, when I bless you, I'm going to be doing so from the depth of my heart, from the very depth of my heart. And if you don't know what prayer weight of blessing is, you're about to experience it. You're about to experience it. There is a weight of the blessing coming upon you. No devil can change it. Are you following what I'm saying here? Let me give you a minute to pray in the Holy Ghost, everyone. Let me give you a minute to pray in the Holy Ghost. All right, let me give you a minute to pray in the Holy Ghost. Somebody said, Apostle, show us the car. Security reason. And I'd love to show you. Maybe there's a picture. Can you show them a picture? There's no plate number on it, so you can just show them a picture. Do you have a picture? Okay, they said they don't have a picture, and I'd love to show you, but the media said they don't have a picture. All right, but they are going to show you, don't worry. They will look for a picture. All right, and let's just say thank you, Lord. Thank you. Let's just say thank you to God. Let's be grateful. Let's be grateful. Let's just say thank you, even for our givings. You know, when— and I say sometimes God said I should drop this, I should drop that. It's a privilege A privilege. The one who is dead does not have to drop it, it is dropped already. It's a privilege to give, the privilege, you know. But God also now rewards us, you know, he sets us up for greater things. Praise God. All right, let's, let's give God praise. Let's give him praise. Do you want to show it? Okay, okay. All right, let's, let's thank him. I'm going to bless you maybe at the end of the meeting this morning. All right, then they are going to put it on the screen and then for you, everyone, wherever you are, please take a posture of prayer. I want to bless you from the depth of my heart.
My Father, my God, I want to thank you for everyone connected with this meeting this morning. I want to thank you for your mighty hand that is so strong Upon every individual, families, I want to thank you specially for them. My Father, my God, I'm asking that you will please call to remembrance the covenant you have made with this house, which is the covenant of life.
You have said to us nothing dies in our hands.

In the name of Jesus, we will never have a cause to weep over you. Your life is secured. Your life will not be cut short. You will not be cut down. In the name of Jesus, I declare again, you will not vanish like smoke. I decree again, you will not vanish like smoke in the name of Jesus. You increase on all sides as you cross over into the new year. It will not be with a carryover. In the name of Jesus, the things you have been pursuing and your hands have not touched, on the breeze of grace, enter into them now. In the name of Jesus, I decrease speed. Your journey will no longer drag like the chariot of the Egyptians. In the name of Jesus, God is a light to you in the day. In the name of Jesus, is a light to you at night. There is no struggle. There is no struggle. Every door you have knocked that refused you and bounced you out, they call you back now in the name of Jesus. They call you back now in the name of Jesus. They call you back in the name of Jesus.
From today, greatness is coming from the midst of you in the name of Jesus.
There is no smallness with you. I decree if Jesus tarries to come by this time next year Your remembrance will not be in the grave. Nobody here will have their remembrance in the grave. In the name of Jesus, you are protected. You are divinely protected. You are divinely protected in the part remaining for this year to end. No devil will touch your life. In the name of Jesus, you will not weep. Oh, you will not weep. Oh, in the name of Jesus. I call you blessed. I call you blessed. I call you blessed. Thank you, Father. We bless your holy name.
Thank you, Jesus.
It is done. Nothing will reverse these blessings.
In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Amen. Hallelujah.
All right, God bless you.
Media, do you have it? Okay, they just did the video, entire video. Okay, just picture, just a good one.
They're just going to show you the picture based on popular demand.
All right, then we're going to make announcements. As the year runs out, you want to give sacrificially, you want to partner with our project going on in Abuja, it will be a delight. We're in the midst of a major revival, and, um, one of the things I've always seen that things like this is when you don't have a good place to put people, and that's why we are so much at work. Um, you can save the account details for the project while you, you know, give towards it, and maybe end of the year giving also. You have the account details on the screen for us to do that. All right, can you show the picture now? All right, and then I can just show you briefly, then we run away. All right, God bless you, bless you, bless you, bless you, bless you so much. All right, and then fasting and prayer picture will also be on the screen. Um, so you can know the date we resume fasting and prayer. Um, okay, this is the picture. All right, it's that short. Thank you. All right, so please, can you display the flyer for fasting and prayer? All right, I want to appreciate everyone, um, for this season. All right, all that you're doing, God bless you so much, so much, so much. All right, so fasting and prayer commences by, um, am I correct? 11th of January till 31st of January. All right, 11th of January till 31st of January, um, 2024. 21 days. All right, so you have no excuse why you should not do it. Um, 21 days of fasting and prayer. Um, um, yeah. 21 days of fasting and prayer. And after that, we always start the year— it's a custom in our ministry, so if you are led to join, you should join. All right, we also start the year giving our first fruit. It's a very powerful custom. We have testimonies to that regard. We start the year sacrifice on our front. All right, we sacrifice food, we sacrifice our first fruit. It's the way we have always started the year. God bless you so much. I can't wait to see you by 8th of January. Um, I will miss you guys. Um, so it's going to be an amazing time, and we'll come with the study plan so that you can, you know, master the art of studying and living a consistent Christian life.
God bless you. Thank you for this year, 2023.
See you in 2024. Love you so much. Happy New Year in advance. Bye-bye.
In what I will call the most humble movement, we came practically trusting God for what to what he's going to do next and how he's going to help us with the words of prophecies he has given to us about the city and the armies arising. And guess what? God is doing just that. Recently we have been seeing the move of God in the most unbelievable way possible, with his word reaching the unreached, converting sinners to saints.
Praise God.
All right.
I forgot something. God have mercy. Are you still there?
I, I, I, I forgot something. I guess the euphoria of, you know, it's end of the year, PPC, and with this, this, this should not be forgotten. Amen. And I want to thank those who quickly reminded me. If you are here to give your life to Jesus, we can't live without you. We can't leave you behind. We are not going to allow this carryover into next year. We can't leave you behind. You can cross over today from death to life. Jesus loves you so much, he laid down his life for you. You have not given your life to Jesus Christ. This can be the moment. Put your right hand on your chest and say these words after me if you want to accept the life of Jesus. Say, Lord Jesus, I confess you now. I believe, sorry, that you came to this world to die for my sins. I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord my Lord and Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. Amen. If you have said that prayer, this is the most important aspect of this meeting. This is the most important. There's a contact on the screen steadily. Please send a message to the contact. Send a message to the contact. Say, I confess Jesus this morning, I'll be glad to take you up immediately. We have resource materials and structures to help you grow. Don't miss the opportunity. I look forward to seeing you. God bless you, and God bless you all in Jesus' name. Once again, Happy New Year in advance. Bye-bye.
Our story in the city of Abuja is similar to the story of Jacob who said By my rod I have passed through Jordan, but now the Lord has made me two bands. You will remember how that recently God sent us to Abuja in what I will call the most humble movement. We came practically trusting God for what to do next and how he's going to help us with the words of prophecies he has given to us about the city and the armies arising. And guess what? God is doing just that. Recently we have been seeing the move of God in the most unbelievable, impossible, with his word reaching the unreached, converting sinners to saints, bringing people who have lost hope in church. And now this has necessitated the need for expansion so that we do not fall out of what God is doing. Where we are currently is stringent for us, with rules that will limit what God is doing amongst us. The gospel is free, but the propagation requires a lot of funding. We want our friends, partners, and everyone connected to our ministry to join us as we undertake this project together. We have the urgent need to expand, and we believe that this is the Kairos moment for us to do that. We are importing our own tent all the way from China and getting everything needed to fill that space and have a conducive place where we can have our apostolic work beyond what we are having now at the moment.
The structure you are seeing on your screen is exactly what we are working at, at the moment.
Believe you me when we say that people who are blessed can be blessed much more when we have our own place. We want you to join us as we undertake this project. We need your support. We're counting on you and your generosity. We are working towards a project of ₦180 million in this season. You have the account details on the screen. Use the account details as God has laid in your heart. God bless you so much. We love you from all of us at Sphered Light Church. Thank you for always—
Hi there, God is raising for himself an end-time army. And this is the mandate that he has given to us. Truly, the harvest is plenteous, but we need you on board as a laborer. This is a call to partner with what God is doing in this great house. To become a monthly partner with us at Sphere of Light Church and Femi Lazarus Apostolic Ministries Ecumenical, kindly reach us via the number +234 903 095 9735. To give an offering or to sow a seed, kindly make use of these account details being displayed. The gospel of Jesus is spreading. Thank you for being a part of it.
