God bless you so much this morning and beyond, in the name of Jesus. Like I always say, it's always a joy, you know, to— and a privilege also to be in front of this amazing set of individuals every morning to bring not just prayers but the counsel of God It's a privilege I don't take for granted. All right, so I want to thank you. Can we go ahead and lift our voice and bless the name of the Lord this morning? Let's give him all the praise and all the honor for all that he is doing in our midst. Let's thank him for guiding us to the path of life. Let's thank him for shining his light across our path, that he has made sure that we will not miss it.

Let's honor him.

I, I share— I remember a friend of mine who, from campus days, solid guy, I've loved him from part 1. I mean, I was like pastoring the Christian community on campus. He was pastoring the Muslim, or imaming the Muslim community. So we're of different faith, but I could attest to the fact that the guy was good. So we, we had good relationship throughout campus and beyond campus. And one time he told me he was starting his own private um, private college of education which he started. Then he was starting his own private polytechnic and needed me to help with certain things, particularly in the field of my study, which he also started. And while we were talking, because he came down, traveled down to see me, while we were talking Ah, there are issues this morning. While we're talking, he just mentioned in passing another friend of ours, not a friend of mine, but that he's now bringing in charge of many things. He said he called that one, where that one was. I said, don't.

We both, we knew this guy from campus.

This guy was greedy, but let me tell you how greedy the guy was. Guys, so they used to cook with, you know, not like now, everybody's using gas stove.

So I mean, they were cooking with my stove and eating my food stuff.

When they bought their food stuff, nobody greeted me, just carried it and entered their room. So one time I mistakenly poured groundnut oil into my stove. Because it was the same keg with kerosene. So I needed to quickly use his own. You know, Gen Z, you guys, I don't know how to help you. When you use that kind of stove, you change the wicks inside. You know what I'm talking about?

Yes, sir.

The guy—

I had a guest, a friend of mine was passing by from Kano, so he was with me. So I just finished cooking Whether the food was sweet is your business. I just finished cooking nice beans and this boy just came and saw that I used this stove and carried both the stove and the beans inside and ate it. He finished the stove and threw the pot outside. I said, don't bring this guy. Yeah, this guy has not changed. He's a dangerous guy. So then my friend just tried to defend him that, ah, you know, Apostle, people change, let's give another chance.

So another time I called him that, how is this guy, oh, and all that.

So that's how my friend started opening up and he was almost in tears. The guy took his name, his wife's name, and their child's name to an herbalist to kill them so he could inherit what they were building. He wanted to wipe the entire family out.

He wanted them dead. Are you still with me?

he said they should kill them. The wife was pregnant, said they should kill her before she give birth.

Fortunately, the person he went to see, it was an environment where this my friend had gone to do some humanitarian service, and they had given them food stuff, clothes, and many things like that. So the man recognized him when they brought his picture. And that's how they reached out to the police that there's somebody.

So they began to—

when he brought the picture, they began to record him and had to send him up.

I want to say that prayer again. Any wicked person that you have brought into your own camp that the devil is trying to use to terminate your life, they are exposed this week. They are exposed this week.

Let me give you a once-in-a-lifetime counsel: kindness doesn't change wicked people.

Let me say it again, and many believers don't understand this. There are people you must love from afar, particularly when their entire essence is a threat to your life.

There are people God does not have to reveal to you twice.

Once he reveals once, hold it.

And are you, are you following what I'm saying here? I was watching the video of a house help who went to— she was having a menstrual flow and then got urine into a cup and mixed it in the red oil for the family. And I was going to add a substance so the entire family will die. So there are critical people that once you— once God reveals, what do you do?

You mark them. Again, if there's anyone whose sole existence is to terminate yours, God will separate you from them.

Separate you from them. See, let me tell you something. The devil didn't try to overthrow God twice. He did it once and he was sent out.

You, you are, you are, you are more kind than God.

So, so you should, you should bear the consequence of your own foolishness. Are you following what I'm saying? I was talking to one of my daughters. They had gone to employ a very, very nasty— two nasty boys who dangerously murdered an innocent woman because of ₦150,000 or so. Look at the case of the boy that was nabbed. I can't remember what state is that, who killed his own classmate also and buried in shallow grave in his own house, and nobody even knew. There are wicked people who look nice. And if you look, if you see the boy's face, he doesn't look as— just looks— a girl will even say, see my fine bobo. I'm very angry in my spirit. As many wicked, vicious people like that living amongst us. Let me tell you something, there are wicked people living amongst us who can kill and come out and dress nice and nobody will do anything. Get up on your feet, everybody, because this is a bit tied to the areas I want to go this morning. Let me tell you, and I'm not going to mindsworn, some of you are actually coming from families that there are wicked people. I'm telling you, you don't believe what I'm saying.

Wickedness. One time a woman in my family told me to my face that, do you think you can ever amount to anything in life?

As God now begin to bless you, that's the person you now want to begin to bring close to your family. A way Are you following what I'm saying?

What did I say?

See, let me tell you something. There are people that, oh, they now don't have choice but to love you because God has lifted you. If they have a choice, they would have preferred you dead and gone. You have a prayer to pray, and many of you are— see, many of you are kind people. You are very, you are very kind. I remember when we were in service, let me just say, my friend may not like I share this story, but I'm going to share this story. When we were in service, a new girl came into the family house, eh, and went to my friend's phone and was copying because that my friend was Let me just leave it. Was she copying confidential message about counseling matters that were— I was now forwarding the matters to the people. I will now delete it. My brother, people, they— this life, one person will single-handedly turn an entire place upside down.

You now see that kind of girl say, God told me she's my God.

That's how— see, they will turn your life like Amala. You know where they turn Amala? That wipe you.

I want you to pray. Every activity of wickedness against my life, Father, deliver me.

From them.

So pray this prayer in the next 2 minutes like your life depends on it. Deliver me from them.

In 1 Samuel chapter number 20, 21, When Saul was after David, and this is one of the very— for me as a pastor, this scripture is a guide.

Are you with me?

David ran to the court of the priest, and then he met several people doing stuff, and amongst them there was a man there called Doeg. The Bible said he was the Edomite. Dweg. So he came with his family, more like they came for family retreat. So David, you know, wanted bread. They couldn't give him bread. It's okay, there's hallowed bread and all that. And then the priest now gave him the sword that he took from Goliath when Goliath died, and David left. So when Saul— it was Dweg Wivunah went to report the priest to Saul that David came here. Look at what Saul did. Ah God, Saul told one of his soldiers, fall on the priest. He gathered the entire family of the priest. He said, fall on them now, kill them. The guy couldn't. Dweg, who have just been imparted now Carry the sword and wipe out the entire lineage of the priest. Please give volume online. Sometimes the bane or the challenge of kindness is that it doesn't change the wicked person. You see, and, and that's why whenever you see people insulting a pastor, please At least become one before you even have something to say, because somebody— you can pastor somebody for 20 years, and the day something is gotten wrong, they say wicked.

They have bad things to say.

They belong to the lineage of Dwek. And let me tell you something, if there are people you have tried to lift and they could not be lifted, I tell you there is wickedness in their court.

Let me say it again. There are people, every hand to lift them up. God, this is— it is not every time that it is witch and wizard. There are times that this is now—

are you following what I'm saying? Because let me just— God can resist the rising of a wicked man. God, for in his mercy, it is good that this person doesn't rise. There are people that you are trying to lift and their first assignment is to kill you once you lift them. So me, I mean, I'm just telling you, I pastor people and sometimes people just meet me in different places and say that, oh, you have been a blessing. Thank you. You have the opportunity to drag me, you will. Thank you. Let me share a story with you so you know how to pray. There was a boy they brought to me years back. This is over 10 years ago, and the boy was epileptic. And every time he will fall in class and start foaming and start jerking and all that. So they brought him to me. I think you know the boy now, you know the guy. So I wanted to pray for him. God said, don't pray, just clean the right side of his head. So I just held his head and cleaned, and I said, I clean this place in the name of Jesus. As I did, the power of God hit him. He foamed and was shaking, and the spirit left him. Epilepsy of several years left. So he began to stay with me. At one time, I noticed that he would beat the choir members in church.

I said, why are you beating them?

He said, they are not hearing.

Church.

So he started evangelizing. He will go to the market, blah blah blah. I said, don't do that. You evangelize to people, you collect food every time. Oil, petrol— not petrol, oil, fish, and all those things. And you come back and you are cooking like you have come with spoils of war. So I now, I now showed him that, see, look at my life, because at that season of my life I was doing several jobs, okay? I was teaching in a school. I also have a food joint where I was selling food. People don't believe I sold food. I said no to disability program. And I also had students I was taking tutorials, mathematics every day. Then, um, another tutorial where I was taking physics, chemistry, and biology. Then weekend we had 6 hours classes. So I said, I'm in ministry and that's why I'm working so hard, so I don't do mission on empty stomach. So when our ministry started, some people gathered to viciously attack us. Then they said, one of them now said a statement that I only said to this boy which I brought to help. I said, we even aired that. He said he can't do mission on empty stomach. So I called the boy to my house, served him food, said, this is the food you like. Oh yeah, sit down and eat.

Just looking at him.

So as he was eating and enjoying, I was saying nice stuff. And I paused, I said, did I offend you? He said no. I said, think very well. Said no. I said, people are trying to bring me down, and one of them said the statement I said to only you. I don't talk too much, so I can track what I said. So he said, uh, they were talking about you, so I decided to contribute. You see, there was a time that this boy had epilepsy by the roadside, that the shame was so much I laid down beside him when they carried him to a shop front. I just laid down. People didn't know he was epileptic. And you look at such a person and say, even if you be wicked, it shouldn't be to me of all people, you see. But that has nothing to do with people. People have short-term memory loss, telling you, people have short time. So you are going to fortify your own life with prayer. Don't you think that See, I can tell you stories, but I don't want to become skeptical. I can be here telling stories for the next 2 hours, but you just place your two hands on your head. Father, fortify me against the evil intentions of men. Fortify me. Fortify me against the evil intention of men.

Fortify me, o.

Please pray. Fortify me, fortify me against the evil intentions of men. Fortify me, fortify me against the ill wish of men, evil intentions of men.

Fortify me, Jesus. Rescue me always. Be my defense.

Be my rock and my butler, my buckler. Fortify me, Lord. You are the helper of the helpless. I cry to you today for help. Jesus, thou Son of David, help me, help me, help me.

So there's a prayer I want you to pray this morning. Like I said, on Mondays I try as much as I can to be quite brief because I understand that it's a rush time and all that. Psalms chapter number 89. Psalms 89. I'm going to read, um, verse 20 to 22, then I will jump, all right, to verse 27. Psalm 39, from verse 20 to 22, and I will jump to verse 7. I have found David. My servant. With my holy oil have I anointed him. Now verse 21: With whom my hand shall do what? Establish. Also my arm shall strengthen him. Now let's read verse 22 together. 1, 2, 3, go.

Verse 22.

1, 2, 3, go. The enemy shall not exact upon him him, not the son of wickedness afflict him. Now look at verse 27, which is a very key scripture here. I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. Brothers and sisters, there is something called firstborn oil. Are you following what I'm saying?

Yes, sir.

Let me put it in simple terms. It is the anointing that rests upon the one who stood out beyond the rest.

Firstborn oil.

An entire family can be in darkness. And I want to please stand wherever you are because you are going to, you are going to stand for long. And what I mean by that is that you are not going to— what God is doing in your life will not be aborted.

Amen.

You are going to stand like a cedar, like the cedar of Lebanon. Let me tell you something. If there's any devil who has been telling you that the good things that are starting in your life will be cut short, forget about that nonsense.

You will endure for long.

Okay, so don't, don't mind anything any devil is saying to you. But this morning, I want you to ask God for the firstborn oil. Listen, listen. There are families and lineages that are in core darkness, and God places this oil of separation.

And when—

see, the moment God is separating you, you will fight too, because the status quo will want to bring you down. But stand your ground. The moment you are the one going in the direction that others are not going, there are things I'm doing now, that when I first started them, they attracted hatred and criticism. I was fought, and that's why if you are not tenacious, you can't fulfill destiny. If at the sight of any confrontation you are crying, locking yourself in the room, they don't like me—

see, get to the point where you deal with it. That you have to—

if it's a path you are sure, this is the path I'm going, and it doesn't matter if you don't like me, but all of you will come around later. But even if you choose not to come around later, everybody should live their life. It's as simple as that. There must be a dividing line, okay? So there are people that God is raising as the light of their household, some as the light of the ministry that they are coming out of.— or that they are in. Oh yes, and the devil will try to fight that light. Now this is the prayer you want to pray. Father, if you don't need it, don't pray it. Give me the firstborn oil. Give me the firstborn oil. Give me the firstborn oil. Give me the firstborn oil.

That's the prayer. Give me the firstborn oil.

There are households that the philosophy in them is announced in such a way that nobody under that roof can really rise. If there's going to be an Abraham he must leave. There is a way rebellion towards God will become itin in the family, that if anybody will break through, they must leave. And it has nothing to do with emotions. See, let me tell you something. Go and check those who sit down in the midst of the troubles emotionally they are the one answering to this case. Before you know it, they themselves become problem. See, let me just leave the matter. But you see, to what I say, there's somebody— I think there's this one is even about this matter I just mentioned. I just heard the Lord asked me to ask the person And this is not for everybody, but this matter I just mentioned now, that's you. And I heard the Lord say, what are you doing in the Lord?

Have you ever been in a place before?

I—

ah, see, I've gone to places before. I think the last one that was, I went to pray for someone, and as I closed my eyes, the Lord said it explicitly. What are you doing here? Somebody requested to see me. I mean, and I felt he's a senior person. Let me just go and see the person. I had left. Were you not the one driving?

We were on the road. I heard God loud and clear. Where are you going? You know why you say a child like, where are you going? Turn back home.

That person too is a child of God, but God is warning another child from that person.

Go back. One time again, the person still called me again.

Out of respect, I was still going there. God said, if you step there Hey, hey, see, heed the warning of God. There are lands that nothing growing, and if anything will come out of your life, run fast. Exactly. I will not even say more than that. Run fast, run fast. Somebody is asking that, is Femi Lazarus important? Yes. And let me talk to some of the people. You see, the reason why it's good for you to be giving me shirts— you better, all the remaining branches, start sending your shirts so I can be a brand ambassador.

Because see, see, see, see, people, people will not give me shirts, eh.

Give me shirts and then hoodie and all those stuff. So I'll be advertising free of charge, right? So, glory to God. Ah, thank you, Lord. Everybody rejoice wherever you are. You have, you have come to that season like the sons of prophets looked at Elisha and said, surely the spirit of Elijah doth rest on him. You have come to that season that it will be clear. That you have received the firstborn oil. You have come to that season that it will be clear that the hand of God is upon your life. When a man's season change, struggles becomes effortless. That is, what you do is struggle, begin to do it effortlessly because there's a change of season. You have entered that phase of your life. That your season has changed.

I don't know who this person is, but the Lord said to prophesy to your life that you will answer their questions correctly.

In this season, let the hand of God rest upon you big.

That no weapon formed against you prosper.

And every tongue that is rising against you in judgment will be condemned.

The doors that has not opened for you at any other time of your life, when those doors see you now, they will recognize the grace. When Peter was rescued from the prison The Bible said as he approached the big gate of the city, it opened on its own accord. Every gate that has been shut and has locked you out, from this moment they begin to open on their own accord.

So as you step out this week, both flying, being on train, on the road, those who are using water, either ways, the redeemed of the Lord will always return.

Many have asked, how do I give my life to Christ? I want to make it very, very simple and introduce you today to the person of Jesus. Paul, speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 from verse 1, said, I deliver unto to you the gospel that you have received and also believed, and wherein you stand. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord, I'd like to lead you to Christ. And that is exactly why I'm here this morning. You want to say these words after me. Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen. Now, if you have said that prayer, I can tell you you, for surely that there is so much joy in heaven right now. There's so, so much joy. You have made the right step, and I want to encourage you.
