It's been an amazing time of fasting.

This is day 5, and God has been so gracious to us. God has been so good. I want us to lift our voice this morning and bless the name of the Lord for his goodness, for his mercies. Let's thank him because the Lord is doing amazing things amongst us. I want us to give him praise. Because he deserves the lifting up of our hands. It deserves all adoration. It deserves all thanksgiving. What a great God we serve. From the depth of your heart this morning, thank him, magnify him, exalt him, the one who lives forever and ever. His dominion is incontestable. His reign is from everlasting to everlasting. Give him praise, give him glory, give him honor. There's none like you, Lord. There's none besides you, Lord. We acknowledge you, we appreciate you, we give you all glory, we give you all praise, we give you all adoration. Blessed be your holy name. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Now, I remember I've taught you this several times, that thanksgiving is not just a way to start prayer. You see, inasmuch as the Bible says, enter into his gate with thanksgiving and into his court with praise, all right, don't, don't conclude that that means that to enter into his gate with thanksgiving, into his court of praise, then you can now get back and begin— get inside and begin to grumble. Whatever keeps the— whatever opens the door is important to keep it open. For instance, the Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If the fear of the Lord starts it You will need to walk in the fear of God to remain wise. So you must understand that thanksgiving is not just an eat and run principle. It is the principle of abiding in God's presence. Anyone who is going to abide in the presence of the King must understand the protocol of hosting him. Lift your voice where you are this morning. Now, um, listen, I remember yesterday in church I gave a proverb, all right, for those who were in church yesterday, and I used the illustration of when I was in primary school, all right. And you know, there are times that your class teacher is seated right there in class and students for some reasons just decide to make noise, all right, to do things, all right. And I give the illustration that there are times that while you have forgotten that the class teacher is there, suddenly the class teacher speaks out of the blues and says, "Silence!" And everywhere is still, all right. When the Bible says that the Lord is in his temple, let the Oluwahed be silent before him. 2025 is going to be a protocol, a kind of that year where noisemakers will be kept short. Is that okay now? Where noisemakers— and that's why God has given us the very important instruction that as you start the year in fasting and in prayer. Cling to the altar of mercy. That's a very profound one. Cling to the altar of mercy. All right, and I taught you there is no known formula for mercy. All you have to do is to ask for it. God himself said, I will have mercy on those I will have mercy on, and compassion on those I will have compassion on. There is nothing you can do to earn it. It is God's benevolence that gives it. Is that okay now? So very importantly, I want us to ask God for mercy. Listen, this is the first prayer: the kind of mercy that guarantees safety. Lord, I receive it. You were there that day the Red Sea parted and the water became as hard as rock, and you walked in the depth and the belly of the sea and seeing the waters. I don't know if you understand what that means. It means the current, wherever it is flowing from, there is a standstill order. And you pass down to the last child, down to the last cattle. And the Egyptians with their mighty, the most powerful chariot on earth at that time, began to run after you, and you see the man Moses stretch back his rod and the water closed again. Ah, even though God came for your deliverance, you'll be in awe of him. That's what God said he wants to do this year. He wants to fight for you in a way that even you will tremble. For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee, or to thy faithfulness round about thee? Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them. Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain: thou hast scattered thy enemies with a strong hand. Strong arm, the heavens are thine, the earth also is thine. As for the world and the fullness thereof, thou hast founded them. The north and the south thou hast created them. Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. Thou hast a mighty arm, strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. Justice and judgment are the habitation of your throne. Mercy and truth shall go before you, before your face. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound. They shall walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day, and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

Now let me tell you the reason why you have to pay attention this morning.

While I was in primary school, people used to make noise in class. Fortunately, in some universities in Nigeria, it happens too. Your school, sometimes the noise will be going on classroom, and the class teacher is there. And sometimes we lose sight of the fact that the class teacher is there. Then suddenly, out of the blues, you hear the teacher say, 'Silence, everyone.' 2025 is that year that God will say, 'Silence.' Now, what I'm saying Sounds good, but there are events that will play out this year that will make you know, ah, that God is still on the throne. I've been praying whether to say this or not.

2025 is the year of Elisha and the little children. Children, this is the first asotelle since we started that I'm starting with a warning. God will move and it will be violent. The oppositions of the church will be still. I won't say this again when the shaking starts.

Kolo mo towo mwe basho. Let everyone tell their children what to do. The earth is about to experience the awe of God. Let me show you another scripture. The book of Exodus, chapter number 19.

God had instructed Moses, he said, gather the people, I want to visit them.

In Exodus 19:3, and Moses went up to God And the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob and to the children of Israel: Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, how I bare you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself.

If you stood before the Red Sea that day, at the stretching of the rod and the blowing of the east wind, the water separated into two. It is not luxury. You will be afraid if you were in Egypt that night of terror, when you hear outside your room from your windows tears from different corridors in different house, different families weeping for their children. Weeping for husbands, weeping for wives, and you are there preserved because of the mark of the blood. Although saved, you will be afraid when God decides to move.

He's the mighty terrible one. Let the old heads be silenced before him. So he said, I brought you out on eagle's wings. Things.

And then God told Moses, tell the Israelites, sanctify yourselves, I want to come down and talk to you.

Now in Exodus chapter number 19, verse 15, and Moses said unto the people, be ready against the third day and come not at your wives. And it shall come to pass on the third day in the morning that there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of trumpets exceeding loud, so that all the people that was in the camp did what?

Trembled.

And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with who? God. And they stood at the nether part of the mount, and Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire, and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long and waxed louder and louder. Moses spake, and God answered him by voice. And the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mount, and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mount.

Whenever God shows up in his glory, in his fullness, The earth trembles.

Let me show you one more scripture. Psalms chapter number 18. Psalms chapter number 18.

And one of the reasons why I'm showing you this is because there is a way God will begin to fight for you this year that you will have no choice than to become intercessors for your enemies. This.

You will beg him and say, Lord, not up to this.

O is the one who fight for you. You become afraid. You will see— see, listen, the world will seize terror. The church will seize all. There are two different things.

Psalms chapter number 18. I will start the reading from verse 3. Let me start from verse 2 for the sake of That amazing lady that shared the testimony. The Lord is my rock and my fortress, my deliverer, my God, my strength in whom I will trust, my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower. Because he was wrought. Then went up smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured. Coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down, and darkness was under his feet. He rode upon the cherub, and did fly. Yea, he fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place. His pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. At the brightness that was before him A thick cloud passed, hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord thundered in the heavens, the Highest gave his voice, hailstones and coals of fire. Yea, he sent out his arrows and scattered them, and shot lightnings and discomfited them. The channels of the waters were seen, the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. His hand from above, it took me and drew me out of many waters. Let's read verse 17 together. 1, 2, 3, go! He delivered me from my strong enemies and from them which hated me, for they were too strong for me. One more time. Now you can stand on your feet. I want to give you an illustration.

If a lion discovers that the cub is in danger, the same teeth that the lion used to to destroy praise is the same teeth that the lion used to pick his own from trouble.

When the Lion of the Tribe of Judah moves, his roar is to be felt. The kind of deliverances that is going to happen this year is the kind that even you will be afraid. Lift your hands to heaven.

Amen, amen, amen, amen. There's a statement I want to bring out from that video you just watched. God will move. It's going to be serious, and it will silence the opposition of the church. All right, I gave you the illustration what you just watched. Now, when Pharaoh refused to let Israel go, although God came to fight for them the night that all the firstborn died in Egypt, You still be afraid. I want you to pray one prayer point this morning, very important prayer point. Father, in your mercy, fight for me in a way that even I myself will tremble. Now you heard that prayer point. In the name of Jesus, I pronounce judgment upon every cloud of darkness that is hovering over what you do, that seem to limit you throughout 2024 and is looming to limit you again 2025. Let the dark clouds be scattered. In the name of Jesus, even though the enemy come like flood of water, God will raise a standard above them. I command in the name of Jesus, every gathering of dark clouds scattered now in the name of Jesus. The Lord will fight for you and you hold your peace. I pronounce every sickness Every abnormalities that entered your body as a result of arrows shot from the pit of hell, I take authority now over that arrow and the entry point, and I decree and declare, back to where you came from, in the name of Jesus. Everyone who has been victimized here, locked up in the same spot that the man from the Pool of Bethesda who has been held down for 38 years— God is moving in his awe in this season.
