Now this morning I want to walk you through, and let me also say this, I know many of you— like, today is Tuesday now, so I know many of you follow, um, Bible study and Light Nation but many of us don't follow prayer meeting. You see, if you miss those prayer meetings, then you are missing too much. All right, if you miss prayer meeting, you are missing what? Too much. All right, I want to, to— I want to, you know, tell you to make sure you join. I was showing something on Friday in the course of prayer meeting about a spirit called the spirit of lying humanity. Ahab, Jehoshaphat, and other kings had gathered themselves. They were going to fight at Ramoth Gilead. It was Jehoshaphat who suggested that before we go, let's inquire of the Lord, and they all agreed because these kings were friends. They brought 400 prophets. How many prophets? 400.

Have you ever—

which matter have you got in your life that you needed 400 confirmations? 400 prophets. Let me tell you something. If you are a young lady and you want to marry and Saul is in front of you— and sorry, Eliab is in front of you— a prophet might confirm him because Eliab is the species that looks like it. You can look so much like it that your emotions can be tampered with. And that's why in the prophetic, you don't get yourself emotional over a matter. Just like the case of the madman of Gadara who was getting stoned, so cut himself. This person is making decision that is bleeding him out but can't stop. I want to show you scriptures to that. I shared a story, and it's a very painful story, and the story is very concerning for me because I have been in such situation before. There was an evening years back, and what I'm saying is more than 13 years years ago. I was in my house and I just— I wasn't lacking, but I just felt like going to withdraw from the ATM. Not like I needed money for anything, more like that moment you just want to go out. I just said, let me just go and withdraw. So I called a brother from the church to come help me withdraw. All right, in fact, this is precisely 13 years ago. I remember now, as we were going to withdraw— listen, in one trip, on 4 separate occasions, we saw death face to face. The first time it happened. We were almost crushed by a trailer because the brother had the bike, so we took his bike. I've never ever rode a bike in my life, not till now. It's not one of those things I'm adventurous about. I'm not interested. When you ride bike, your, your, your own body is the body of the bike. So leave that for another day. So let me tell you something. The trailer just— listen, the trailer was so close to us that on top speed, my hand at the back, I touched the trailer to spring myself. That was the speed of the trailer. We escaped that. Suddenly the chain— right, in fact, we ran into the bush. They had to come and draw us out. That's the fact. The chain of the bike on top speed suddenly hooked. The bike fell. The person that was on the driving the bike bike, threw him to the other side. Then I was trapped and the bike fell on me. My leg was trapped. So we're trying to raise the bike so I could come out, come and get up from, from the floor. It was on the highway, and that happened twice that night. And the good thing was that no vehicle was coming. There are days that death is locking on the way that it will take not being aligned to the spirit to make trips. They got an entire bus, got them to stop. There was a woman in that bus who was going for, I think, that naming ceremony of our own younger sister, and the woman was pregnant. Pregnant, heavily pregnant. So the robbers made all of them lie down, were getting their purse from them and everything with gun, at gunpoint. There was another vehicle coming, and the, the passengers of those vehicles were lying, they're made to lie beside the road. It was all these stubborn drivers that didn't want to wait.

So he, he took the side and ran so he could escape. I was just waiting like other vehicles. It was the robbers who even saw him running like that that told the people they have told to lie down, get up, get up, get up, get up, get up. They all got up and ran into the bush because the driver running didn't see them. But that woman that was pregnant ant, between 8 and 9 months, could not get up because she was heavy.

And they made her lie down with the pregnancy like that.

But the man that was in his office just felt like driving around town, you know, all those days of random feelings, just feel like, feel like, feel like, feel like. So he got into his vehicle and was listening to good music and was just cruising around town and His glass was wound up, and you know, for some reasons, he was also wearing earpiece. I mean, when this kind of spirit latch on people, it programs the person. See, I saw a video, because some of you don't believe that the spirit world is real. I saw a video, the man was standing, it was at night, he was standing beside his bike, so he was pressing his phone, then a paper fell fell from his hand. A tire was on free spin, was rolling down the street, and the tire curved, eh, was rolling down.

This is not—

That's why many of you don't know, in my leadership journey, been leader since university days, one of my major point of intersection is I don't want to lose anyone. God has always kept me in positions of prayer all my life. I'm praying for you in the name of Jesus. I will not have any reason to weep over any one of you.

Let me share another story with you. Shared this story before. It was towards Christmas like this. A family came to greet us, and while they— when they came to greet us, said they were traveling. A young girl in the house was about 5, 6, kept crying. And the girl was making a statement, I don't want to go, I don't want to go. They said the girl has not eaten for 3 days. My dad called the man and said, this one that your daughter is crying like, this is too much for a child. The man said, ah, we must travel, that has been long, we've gone to see grandma and then there's also a wedding to attend in the village that they have to travel. Let me tell you something, and I'll tell you the most painful part of this story I've never told before. They traveled, they prayed for him. There are situations that what is best is don't go. Not— don't go.

God is clear. Prayed for going.

The following day they traveled. At night we had the news that the entire family was run over by a trailer.

They died, including the girl. Everyone wiped off.

Just yesterday they were with them. The following day another news came that while they dropped their body at the mortuary They noticed that the man, his hand was moving, so he survived. But that girl died, his other children died, the wife died. The wedding they were going to attend in the village, they buried them on the day of that wedding. Don't ever overrate yourself in any place that God said don't go. You are not as important as that. In 2025, be careful.

Unless anyone push you anywhere and say if you don't come this way, it will go on. People die and the world still move on.

The world doesn't rotate around anybody. Not that important. You want to get somewhere, your health can't carry it, don't go anywhere. Sorry to tell you that the body of Christ is not really a nice place. There are those that kill their prophet. Sometimes you are shaking like this, you just preach. Even if it's 5 minutes, just preach, just preach, just preach, just preach, just preach. Ah, are you following what I'm saying? Bury the entire family the day of the wedding, and guess what? The wedding went on.

Fact.

The wedding what went on. And the grandma— Grandma, the grandma is still alive. I can't forget that picture. The man's beautiful wife, his children, all wiped out, had to start again from ground zero. You will not make decisions that will destroy your life.

There's a story, there's a story, and you see, as a pastor, when I read this story, it's eat differently. There's a story in 1 Samuel, between 1 Samuel chapter number 19 and 1 Samuel chapter number 20, when Saul was running after David. One of those days, David ran. He ran to the, the, to the house of the priest, the prophet. He ran to his house, and when he ran to his house, the prophet was busy because a family was with him. So they came for consecration, and they've been there for a while. So David saw them and, you know, asked for food. They gave him food. And then now that he has an enemy trying to kill him, the priest of the Lord also gave him the sword of Goliath, whom he has collected from Goliath. The guy he met that was with the— the prophet was praying for the guy. The guy, you know, like, ah, When Saul was asking about David's whereabouts, the guy who had just left— let's, let's put in contemporary terms now— the church, who came for family retreat, was the one who told Saul that don't worry, it's this same prophet, this same priest that has given him food and even sword of Goliath. Saul came with his army. He didn't know how much Saul deviated from God. Saul said to somebody, he said, kill the priest and the priest's entire family. The person that Saul told could not do it. You know who this is? Doeg the Edomite. That same guy, that same guy that the priest had just finished praying for and he had just finished laboring over. He was the same one.

He, he did not hesitate. He brought out his sword and killed all the family.

The one who just finished praying for for you. It will interest you to know how people who have been blessed by your life will not hesitate to finish you if the occasion demands. That's why God must protect you by all means. He must defend you by all means, must protect you by all means. That's why you cannot just leave yourself. Are you following what I'm saying? You can't just leave yourself himself. Look at the guy that was found on the street. Was it 2 years ago that this was found on the street? A man said, you are a young man with potential, I'm going to help you.

I'll make sure—

I can see myself in you. I'll make sure you study to any level, I will help you. Brought the guy to his house. The guy that same night stabbed the man in how many places? 17 places, stabbed him anyhow to take away how much? ₦10,000, carry television and all that. That same night, there are days that helpers fall into pits. Are you following what I'm saying here? You must understand, don't joke with prayers of being fortified by God. Don't joke with that. There are people who will not hesitate to wipe you out of the land of the living. I pray for everyone under the sound of my voice. From both known and unknown foes, the Lord will shield you always.

They love you, but not to the extent that you will shine. There are places— permit me, I'll tell you the truth— there are families that they prefer that no one rise than for you to be the one to rise. And that you give a witch money doesn't make the witch become kind. They've just seen reasons why you should die quickly. Kindness doesn't change evil people, can't buy them over, can't buy them over. The Lord who made the heavens and the earth will defend your life.

In camps where your matter is being discussed for destruction, the Lord who made the heavens and the earth will look at the integrity of your heart and defend you always. Amen. He will defend you always.

I've seen cases where two people are in relationship and the girl likes the best friend of the guy, and the best friend of the guy and the girl agree to kill the guy so they can have their away. Things happens in life, beloved. Don't be naive, don't be innocent. The dark places of this world is full of the habitation of wickedness. There are wicked forces, beloved. There are wicked people. That's why as I pray with you, I talk to you, and I also counsel you. If you are coming from places where there are wicked people, protect yourself. Go first. Run first. Do what? Run first. There are— I'm not here to raise— to make you skeptical, but we have seen things happen in life, you see. And we are— it's not like you have to preach on experience, but experience also point us to reality. The Lord who made the heavens and the earth will shield you from both known and unknown foes.

Many of you are working from offices where it is with charm and battles they are doing the whole thing. They can put charm on anybody's seat just for the position. Some people want you out, just die so that they can take position, become the MD, become the CMD, and all that. And sometimes even happen in ministry. Oh yes, I've shared this story. Somebody came to meet me to ask questions about church growth. I was shaking my hand with charm. Once he left, my entire left, right part became numb. God said, I wanted you to experience that so you can know what I'm protecting you from. It is now left for you to now still open your door to that kind of person. Are you following what I'm saying? You know, there was a time that a pastor Pastor was going to tell people to eat, to drink Isa, because he had read the scripture that you will eat deadly things and it will not kill you. Ah, people died though. Some were eating snakes and all those things. The Lord will shield you continually.

You know, there are people that once the day of your joy comes, they are looking at you and say, they will soon be over it. They will soon start crying now. Now lie! Who is it that says it when God has has not spoken. Who is he that says it when God has not spoken? He has gone ahead of you to make the crooked path straight. Now God will— God, you will enjoy the covenant of God's mercy in the name of Jesus. You will enjoy the covenant of God's mercy in the name of Jesus. You will enjoy the covenant of God's mercy. One time they were going to kill David. One of the the younger brothers of Goliath came for a revenge mission. And the guy was good. He was good because if not for the mercy of God, they would have been able to kill David that night with a javelin. But somehow David escaped, and his men said to him that you will no longer have to go to battle with us. They used what they said, lest the light of Israel be put out. There are people who are light of a generation. There are people who are light of the family. There are people who are light. Are you feeling what I'm saying here? You are a kind of light. That light will not be put out. Put your two hands on your head. Put your two hands on your head. Everyone where you are, put your two hands on your head. You're a glory prayer. You are a light to that lineage. You are the one that God is using to change the narrative. This light will not be put out. This light will not be put out. This light will not be put out in the name of Jesus.

Paul, speaking in 1 Corinthians chapter number 15 from verse 1, said, I deliver unto you the gospel that you have received and also believed, and wherein you stand. How that Christ came and died for our sins according to scriptures, and he was buried according to scriptures, and he rose on the third day according to the scriptures. When he died, he died for our sins. When he was buried, he was buried, and the Bible said he went into the lower part of the earth and set the captives free. And when he rose on the third day, he rose for our justification. And now we are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers. It is believing in his sacrificial works and his resurrection that gets us saved. So you believe in your heart unto righteousness, and you confess Jesus Jesus as your Lord and Savior unto salvation. The moment you do this, whether you feel it or not, according to scriptures, you have been saved. So today, if you are giving your life to Christ today and you want to give your life to Jesus and accept him as your Lord, I'd like to lead you to Christ. And that is exactly why I'm here this morning. You want to say these words after me. Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, I believe that you came into this world to die for my sins. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen. Now, if you have said that prayer, I can tell you for surely that there is so much joy in heaven right now. There's so, so much joy. You have made the right step, and I want to encourage you.
