respect. When you read through, you now see the characteristics of love and you judge within your own heart. Am I really patient?

Am I kind?

If I'm relating with people, I'm relating with God's people and everybody around me, am I patient? Am I kind? Do I envy? You know, this was contextually now, this was in response to most of the complaints that were coming from the Corinthian church. It says you can't envy each other, you can't, you know, you can't have envy amongst yourself. Love is patient, love is kind, love is not boastful, it does not keep record of wrongs. So Paul tells us what love is and he tells us what love is not, right? And then as we go further, he now emphasizes the fact that the hallmark of spiritual maturity is love. It is interesting, I like to say it's interesting how that what looks like the basic things are actually the major things in the kingdom. How that? Having gone the highest height in your walk with God, one of the ways that you know that you have hit your— you're getting into maturity is that you begin to love, you begin to see as Christ sees, begin to love God's people the way Christ loves them. You begin to have passion, you begin to have compassion to speak tenderly to them, and that's the hallmark of leadership. Paul says, um, He said, when I was a child, I speak as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. When I became a man, I put away childish things, right? So if my pursuit as a believer, first of all, is, you know, I want to be that spiritual brother that does moves in the miraculous, supernatural, it is beautiful, it is good. In fact, we are called to do that. In fact, Paul said something in 1 Corinthians 12, he said, 'Covet earnestly the best gifts,' right? So Paul encourages us to covet spiritual gifts, but he's not saying that it must— it must stem from a place of love, because if love is not the source from whence it stems, everything we are doing is as good as dead works. Um, final part I'll read and then we'll pray. About how that every gift will fade. Of course it will fade in the sense that when we go to see Christ, there will be no need for word of knowledge, there will be no need for gift of healing, working of faith, right? These are corruptible bodies that are giving way to the incorruptible. So we would have become, we would have metamorphosed into, you know, our celestial bodies.

Just one action, one, one action can take a man off zone for life. In Psalms 91, the Bible says that he that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadows of who? So it— if Cain must have been thinking that the yields he was getting was a function of his skillfulness, but God was showing him that now that you have chosen the congregation of the dead You will see what labor means. He said, a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. It was one action and that was it for him. Ah, as we move on in life, there are many traps. What did I say? If the devil wants to get a man and the man looks invincible, the devil will move away from today and set traps in the future. It will set traps where the person will fall into and fall outside of God's grace, and the man will become remote. That word can't leave me in a hurry. It will become remote from the reach of the provisions of heaven just because of one decision. Everybody, get up on your feet. You're going to pray that prayer. Hey, that boy, you don't pillow your head on a pillow while you are praying. You will sleep off. You know, there are some prayers that when you want to pray, you leave your bedroom.

That's why I'm speaking to you here. You can't do what we are doing without courage. We are sent to confront a system. It's dark, and they have their ideologies and philosophies. We don't join them. All those dirty, all those deadly language they use everywhere, don't use it. It's not for you. Don't be like them. I know the person who typed that this way in a good faith, not seeing that perspective, and I love you. That's why I'm doing what I'm doing, so you never type that in again. Is that clear now? Never. Praise God. I want you to pray for the person you are holding, that all the traps that the devil has set ahead of this person In the valley of decisions. Once he entered into the trap, he said, I will get up like I used to. What I'm saying is, the ease with which you do life, the freshness you see now, the devil doesn't intend for it to continue. He wants to bring you into a season that the earth under your feet will be as hard as iron. He wants to bring you into a season that the heaven above your head will be as thick as brass. He wants you to know what it means for rain to be scarce. He wants you to lose sight of what harvest looks like. And if there's anybody under the sound of my voice that used to be in a season in years past where it looks like you are the one who knows how to do things, till you made one decision and fell off the grid. If there's anyone here under the sound of my voice— that there was a time you could call your prime, when the law of the law was upon your tables, when you had sight of the kind of future you are moving to, till you made one decision and now you can't find yourself alone again. Many of you don't know it is possible that a man can get to a point and he can't find his dreams. That a man can get to a point he can't tell. It looks like the version that has experienced God is gone forever. A man can be young and yet one decision introduced him to his night. And but there is a God who can restore the years. That is stolen. If there's anyone here that the enemy has introduced to night phase because of a decision, I decree you will receive mercy this morning. You will receive mercy this morning. You will receive mercy in the name of Jesus. The mercy of God will speak over you. I've seen people sit in front of me and say it was just one decision and that's it. I've seen myself almost make decisions too that will finish my life. And sometimes you might even hear these things from the place of prayer. You go back and get my prayer meeting about 2 weeks ago or 3 weeks ago where I spoke about the spirit of lying vanity. I spoke about the case of Ahab and Jehoshaphat and Micaiah. He got 400 confirmations, but they were lies. Sometimes when the devil knows that you value the voice of God but you hate prayer, angels of darkness will speak like angels of light. And that's it. The person is gone. I know people whose life was destroyed by wrong prophecies. Just somebody told them, 'Toes is palm.' The fellow now head in a direction where he will now be remote from heaven's bounty. It won't be you. One of the most significant things that can happen to a man in life is for the man to find mercy. Ah, mercy. Everybody say it out loud: mercy, mercy. Say it again: mercy, Lord. When a man finds mercy, it looks like he's getting it right always. God told David in Psalms 89, he said, if your children forsake my laws and walk not in my statutes, with my rod will I chastise them, but my mercy and my loving kindness will I not take away from them.

Sometimes it could be something as God saying Um, let me give you a very clear illustration. You know, God sees everything and he tries his best to make sure we don't fall victim of traps. Um, there are arrows by night and pestilences by day. And one of the ways God keeps us in safety is through instruction. It's true instruction. If you look clearly, carefully at Psalms 91, I want to show you something there. Psalms 91, it says, he that dwells in the secret place of Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. My God, in Him will I trust. It is when you dwell in the secret place that now says, shuo leo, it shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from noisome pestilences. There are people who have gone to minister in places and they stepped on wrong altars and they could have died. Oh yes, you see, you must hear God. My wife was telling about somebody who went to minister somewhere, and then the doctor's person started bleeding, right, right on the spot, on the stage right there. And what did they bring out of the person? Doctors brought out calabash from the person. Oh yes. I was invited for a meeting and I lost my peace. And God showed me a vision. I saw the host was performing a ritual at my hotel door. If you don't know how to hear God, you'll be lost. You will not— you will call trap opportunity. See, are you what I'm saying? What is a trap? You see like this and say this is your lifetime opportunity, but it's a trap. I saw it, I saw it. There are places God doesn't want you to step. He simply doesn't want you to step. Somebody was going to come and greet my family one time. I was excited. God said to me, you know, instructions, please. We say, how can God say that we are new creation? The image, okay. Jesus is God. God told Joseph to escape with him. You are from where? You're from Zion. God told me you let this person step in your house, it will take you 10 years to recover. Um, um, see, may you not lose your hearing. My joy is that we are looking at you now. The future looks promising. You look amazing. You look invincible. You look great. You are breaking patterns. There's a clear sign that there is hope in that lineage, that God has found somebody we use. The devil is not resting. He wants to blow it in your face. He wants the entire dream to become powder. He wants to mess you up. I'm not trying to dignify him, but we should not be ignorant of his works. He's looking for every way possible, but my prayer is that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, try hard as they may, you will not fall into their traps. What those who have gone ahead of you could not escape, you will escape it. You will not fail where they failed. You will not fall where they fell. Lord Jesus, I believe that you died for my sins. I also believe that you arose on the third day for my justification. Today I confess you as my Lord and my Savior, and I accept this gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name, amen.
