Now, this morning God has given me his word, and, and I'm so excited. Um, I became teary when God was speaking to me this morning because it is obvious that God wants us to do well. In 3 John verse 2, he says, 'Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.' So what that means is, if you get any result or anything that is contrary to what God has said, that you should prosper. If you get anything that is contrary to what God has said, that you should be in health. Health, all right, then it means God doesn't want it. Amen. It means God doesn't want it. You see that now? So God wants you to do well. Praise God. I said amen. God wants you to do what? To do well. He wants you to enter into the fullness of his blessings. He wants you to enter into the fullness of his, of his blessings. And when we're having, um, the fasting and prayer program and And by God's grace, another fasting is coming. When we're having the fasting and prayer program, um, January, I, I did play a video for you, an old video of the man of God Daddy Copeland, where he was talking about the things that God wants to do, all right, but people are not receptive. Let me, let me share this with you. I remember at some point in my life I had a young man that was staying with me, and I woke up from a very powerful vision backed up with loads of prayer. And God was giving me clear instruction for him. God said, I want to bring this young man into this, into wealth, into this. Tell him to open an account in as many banks as possible. Because I want to create multiple this, then you should do this and do that, then the door will open. So I— oh God, I woke up that morning with excitement. Then I called the young man and I have a word for you from the Lord. I am not the— I'm not the kind of person that will tell you that. I will not say it until God has said it. Ah, I said, God said, first thing first, make sure you open an account in as many banks as possible. Oh, he began to argue, you know, this bank, that bank. I said, it's my fault too. By the time, you know, I'm telling you the truth, in all honesty, by the time we are dragged that, this, these simple things first, by the time that one had been dragged, now back to giving him the word from the Lord, in believe you me, honestly, when I tell you, the word was taken from me. I could no longer— till today I can't remember what God said again. The vision I saw, everything I saw, pam. By the time he was done arguing, I sat down there with him. I couldn't remember. On the So if you create a culture of honoring God's word, you will do well. Now, God has given me a word for you this morning, and I want us to look at the book of Joshua, Joshua chapter number 3, um, this morning. We are good, we are going to pray. Amen. Are you with me? Now, Joshua chapter number 3, um, is that scripture where God was giving them the instruction of what to do and how to cross over Jordan, um, in their journey, you know, into the Promised Land. So let's, let's jump a bit. Is that okay? Let's jump a bit. Now look at Joshua 3:7. And the Lord said to Joshua, this day will I begin to magnify you in the sight of Israel, that they may know that as I was with Moses, I will be with you. Hold on it. Let me tell you, there are many packages in God that the one who is not walking with him will not know exist. Are you following what I'm saying? Are you guys— are you listening to what I'm saying? That God can say, I want to magnify you before men. This one is not, um, by your ability to buy powerful suit. This one is not suit. This one is not the best Abuja gown. This one is God God putting honor on a man. God does it. He can put honor on a man that nobody can refuse the man. And that happens after some alignment. You see, listen, if you want to get mechanically what God gives because he has seen a consecration, you struggle to get it. Are you following what I'm saying? That's what he said. This is my beloved Son, hear ye him. If heaven is saying hear ye him, people must hear it. But that comes after you align. May you receive grace to align. He said, and you shall command the priest that bears the Ark of Covenant, saying, when you are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, Jordan. You shall stand still in Jordan. And Joshua said to the people of Israel, say, come here and hear the voice of the Lord your God. And Joshua said, here, all right, hereby shall you know that the living God is among you, all right, that he will without fail drive out before you the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, and the, all right, the Gergesite, all right, sorry, and the Amorite and the Jebusite. Behold, the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, all right, Lord of all the earth, passeth over you before in Jordan. And now take 12 men of each tribe, out of every tribe a man, and it shall come to pass that as soon as the sole of the feet of the priests that bear the Ark of the Lord of all the earth shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above and shall stand still on deep. That was the strategy. Listen to what I'm saying. When they got to Jordan, God said, this is the strategy to divide Jordan: let the priests, those that represent what it means to carry my presence, go first. And this is, this is the same strategy for navigating life, that those who— if you, if you will listen to this, if you will strive to carry God's God's presence, Jordans will part. You follow what I'm saying? I'm telling you, if you will strive to carry God's presence— Jordan represents that which, all right, creates obstacles. They were going to cross over to the other side. The limitation between them and the other side is Jordan. If you will carry God's presence, you will walk on dry land as though these rivers doesn't exist. The problem is people want results. But ate, all right, the consecrations around it. Maybe somebody, all that God said to the person to break the person to a new phase is go and fast for 3 days, and the fellow has argued, has argued, has argued, and now you want to pass over Jordan, and Jordan is not respecting you. You have to swim through, and people drown where they should have walked through. You will not drown. You will not drown. See, that's the secret. That's the secret. All right, what, what did, what did the psalmist say in Psalms 23? He says, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. So as long as God is leading me, I will not lack. I will not lack. As long as it is God leading me, I will not lack. Bible says that, um, you that, um, um, shine for you, shepherd of Israel. He said, you that lead lead Joseph like a flock, you that sit between the cherubims, shine forth. Are you seeing that? You that lead Joseph like a flock, you that sit between the cherubims, do what? There are people whose life is battered and bad today because they are too intelligent to submit to what God is saying. They would rather go through trial and error. They are too smart for God's leading. They are too smart for the presence. See, this is what I'm saying. You pray prayer this morning. Everybody, if you are where you can stand, stand up now. You pray this prayer like your life depends on it. Father, never hand me over to myself for destruction.

In all situations of my life, do not stop leading me. Don't hand me over to myself. Don't hand me over to myself for destruction.

Ah, until he's leading you, there's no shining. No, are you following what I'm saying? See, they could have ways they thought they will pass around Jordan. God said this is the strategy: let the priest carrying the ark representing the presence be the first to stand there. Now look at this, we have looked at this, right? We have seen this. Now let's look at the back end. Let's look at the back end. There is a scripture, all right, that David found about this thing that happened that day. Psalms chapter number 114. Psalms 114. Look at it. Psalms 114. Everybody pray in the Holy Ghost under your breath. Now listen, what we are doing this morning is that we are positioning for instructions. Are you with me? We are positioning for what? Instructions. Psalms 114. What the Bible says says, when Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob, from a people of strange language, Judah was his sanctuary and Israel his dominion. The sea saw it and fled. Ah, so God said let the priest carrying the presence go first because the priest will see him. That's the strategy. Jordan was driven back. All right, the mountains skip like rams, little hills like lambs. What ailed thee, thou sea, that thou fleetest, and thou Jordan, that you are driven back? You mountains that you skip like rams, little hills like lambs. He said, tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, which turns the rock into a standing water and the flint into a fountain. My God. That's what the Bible says. Ah, God himself was in their midst. He said the way to show is that let the priest carry my ark.

There was a time they were going to have a fight.

God told Josaphat, he said, listen, he said they would not have to lift a sword. Let the singers with harps and timbrel go first. Listen to what I'm saying. Don't be too intelligent that you begin to argue with God. When you begin to argue with God in his intelligence, you will struggle. There are people whose life is where it is because they will never wait for one divine instruction. Last year they did it with trial and error, wiser than God, smarter than him. They, they, they would rather fight. They would rather fight what he say, and they've not left the same spot. This year, the same When will you stop being smart and being creative and become obedient? There is no creativity around obedience. You submit. When will you stop being smart and being creative? When God said leave Abuja, then leave Ibadan and come to Abuja, I was at the point where I was beginning to be comfortable. Are you with me? I was— oh yeah, I was beginning to have comfort. I mean, everything around me was— I mean, I'm telling you, that's the fact. All right, God said get out. Now, there are times that God tells you get out of cases. And I tell you, when we came here, sometimes if you have 20 people on a Sunday morning, that's a very good Sunday morning. Am I correct? Yeah, 20 people, you feel like the church is populated. 20 people. But that's where God said to stay. That's where God said to stay. Are you seeing that now? And many times I heard many discouraging words. Oh, look at you, you left Ibadan, and then look at you, look at you, look at you. Let me tell you something. Sometimes God can tell you to leave a city because he wants to give you a nation. Let's leave that. Are you following what I'm saying? Don't, don't see— mark among your circle of friends who are those who are so smart that their smartness is always anti what God is saying. When there's an instruction, they are not the ones to share with. It will be grounded. Many of the things God said to you died, all right, because you shared with wrong people. There's no creativity around instructions. Are you following what I'm saying? Let me, let me ask you again. When will you stop arguing with God? When will you stop wrestling? When will you submit? You have heaped up so many things, so many concussions in your heart against God. Now look at it. After Elijah prophesied that there will be no rain, all right, and there will be no dew for for some years, about 3 years plus, God fed him with the ravens bringing bread. And then there was a brook of Cherith where there was water, and at some point the water dried up. God said, get out. God said, I have prepared— I have instructed a widow that she should take care of you. Now, when he met the woman at the gate of the city, the Bible says she was collecting cutting sticks. All right, what's she going to do with that stick? To make fire that herself and her son will eat and then die. And here is a prophet coming, having the same problem. God said, I have instructed her. But when he met her, did anything look like God has instructed her? No, God—

he didn't—

nothing look like it. Because when God said, I've instructed her, it was not God said to her, but God gave her a heart that will comply. Are you seeing that now? And I said, I have just this last meal to eat, then myself and my son will die. Oh, hold on a minute. So God said— Elijah said, go and make my own first. In real sense, who was God rescuing? The woman. But what was the strategy of God? Obedience.

Yes, don't mind them.

All these people, maybe God just said to you, that project in my house, you know you can do it alone. Hey, all these Nigerian pastors, all these Nigerian pastors. As long as you hate Nigerian pastors, don't say amen to the prayer because you won't be blessed. And, and those who have issue with Nigerian pastors don't like American pastors either. They've just never been there. True, uh-huh. They've just never been there. Are you seeing that now? All right, obedience to instruction is what gives you speed. The mother of Jesus told them, whatsoever he asks you to do, do it. If you don't do what he asks you to do, wine will run out of the wedding and there will be shame. There are women that— and men— or there are men, let me start from that, that God has said go and beg your wife, but they will never do that. There are women that God said, go and apologize to your husband. They will never do that. And they don't mind the chaos. Humble yourself and do what you should do.

They will never do it. They would rather keep malice for days.

And then you wonder why everywhere is tight and things are hard, the children are struggling with different vices. Ah, the way anywhere there's strife, there is confusion and every evil work.

And God is giving instructions, go about, do this, my blessing is there, create this. Talk to that person.

Ah, Father, I receive grace to obey you. Is that the way you pray it? Father, I receive grace to obey you in this season of my life. I will not walk in disobedience.

I will not argue with your voice. I will not argue with what you're saying.

I receive grace. I receive grace! I received Grace to obey you— I receive Grace to do what You're asking me to do— I receive Grace to do what You ask of me to do— I receive Grace— I Receive Grace— I Received Grace— I Receiv' Grace To Obey You— I Recive Grac'to Obei Yooouu— I recieve Graaace Tobeii Yooyuuu— It Is In Obeying God That We Will Escape The Traps Of Life. Oh yes, in Jesus' mighty name we're praying. And listen, you are, you are not listening. Some of you are not, you are not listening to what I'm saying. I'm showing you 3 scriptures that it is not normal for your life to be where it is if you submit to the obedience to what God is saying. I know you know strategy and you see obedience becomes more difficult world when you are smart. I say I know what to do. No, you don't. Do what he instructs. Obedience is very difficult for smart people. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. If I do this one like this— there are people who don't even bother to ask God questions. What do you want me to do? What do you want me to do in this season? What should I be saying in this season? What should I be doing in this reason to obey. And many times, look at it, God told Abraham, he said, go and sacrifice Isaac. Go and sacrifice Isaac, your only son whom you love. So go and sacrifice him.

As he went to, all right, he took the knife to sacrifice the boy, God said, don't lay your hand on boy. Say, now I know that you fear me, Abraham. In blessing, I will bless you. In multiplying, I will multiply. He said, look to your right, there's a ram caught in the thicket. When God makes a demand of you, God is not a beggar. God is not broke. His hand is not too short that he cannot I found out in a very hard way that if there's anything I think I'm doing that is special, there are billions of people that God will raise in a moment that will do it.

There's no—

there's no— his work can never— God say, go, go, go, go and do this. Maybe somebody came to church and just somebody just walked past or sat beside you, and, and God said, pay this person's rent. And as you do it, God caused that obedience to open a new door for you. All right, but many people will never— as, as you look at it, I've noticed this trend in Nigerian church. People don't mind praying and shouting, but once it becomes a responsibility that commits them, then God is a fool. And we don't mind praying, we don't, but the moment there is a commitment, either in prayer, in fasting, in giving, ah, they will remember.

Now you see what they say about Nigerian pastors. Now you see what they say. You see all those things they say. You see all those things they say. I see all those things.

I wonder those did them say and those who are destroyed by it. All right, none of them is getting anywhere in God. Many people have heaped up vile conclusions about the church.

Many—

I've seen a situation whereby a boy was protocol for his pastor. He was carrying the pastor's Bible. Every time pastor want to preach, go and drop it on the altar.

Protocol, protocol.

And we, we knew that this boy was looking for a way to bring down that ministry.

We'll go there and see him stand there, but we also knew the back end. We were— we know his conversations at the circle. We know how much he disdained the man of God. We know how much he resents the man of God. We knew, we knew, and it was still there. So every time I go for the program, hey, how are we doing? Like this. Jesus Christ. Guys, and the boy was there. He will carry the Bible and all that. Everything he'll be discussing with his roommates is against the pastor.

He didn't know that I have a son there in that room. Me, it was not me he was talking against, it was the pastor. Every time he—

you, you will be mocking the messages and he will be there standing deep. Boy will go back home and mock what they are saying. You—

everybody will say, look at this person, ah, he's so vibrant, he's serving God. But is he?

The heart of man is desperately wicked.

Nobody can find. And listen what I'm saying, there are people that loves you but hate your manifestation. And God begins to give you instruction: don't go there, all right? Cut off from this person, all right? Stop talking with that person. Reduce your conversation. There are people that are coming to and they just want to break your defense immediately. And God says, you say, God, she's so nice, please, she's so nice. By the time you are beaten and battered, you come back and ask for mercy. Whatsoever he asks you to do, do what? Do it. Whatever he asks you to do, or do— see, listen to what I'm saying. It doesn't matter how smart you are, you can't see tomorrow. You can only see what is in front of you. In fact, you don't know the next 5 minutes. So the one who is there, who is beyond there, is saying don't it. Are you with me? He says, don't go there, all right? Do this rather instead, right? There are, there are times that in fact we had to have a document that we give to any meeting that I'm going, that if God asks me not to come for the meeting, I won't come. And just few minutes to come to church, Ella just says, uh, um, ah, I'm not— my body is not feeling like it. All right, and then say I will watch from home. Right, fantastic. If then somebody else— God say, okay, since he's not, give the this person 5 billion there. Has Ella lost something? Talk to me now. But is Ella aware that she has lost something? Huh? If they say pray for restoration, we see, see the need to pray for it. What have you lost that you didn't know because you missed instruction? Father, in your mercy, restore. There will be, there will be contentions. See, we should not raise kind of Christians that the moment there's contention, they draw back. There can be contention over good things. You fight and obey his instructions. That's the principle, not common sense. Whatsoever he asks you to do, do it. You can't plan your life better than he will help you plan it. So when God gives you an instruction, say, ah, we know, we know them, we know them, not them, not them. And then you walk out of your destiny and walk out of God's plan for you. Many another where you are the one, the, the post on Insta blog 20 minutes ago, you have liked. Ah, the one on Yaba left, you have liked. Ah, the one on Gistoso, you have liked. All the Gistoso, they are there. Oh, all the videos Oh, all the trending matter, you are there. You can't have Godspeed like that because these are contradictions and junks you are taking.

Can you learn to shut this phone and pick Bible and read?

To pick the Bible and read and say, I am committed to 8 chapters in a day, and you read.

And I'm committed to an hour of meditation, and then you sit with it and you pick junks, junks, junks, junks, junks. You wonder why you struggle. You are in church, they don't even know that you have left the church. Your mind is fighting everything every pastor is saying because of what we read online, because of what we read online, because of what you read, not because of any You read, you just read some rubbish. If the devil knows that you will not sit with the world, he will attack you through external source. The news media is a major source of attack for people. It is, it's a major source of attack, and many are not sensitive to that. They are not aware, just taking junks, junks, junks, junks, junks, junks everywhere, junks everywhere. Junks everywhere. And now God is speaking, they can't hear. How will you hear? They can't hear what he said. The devil has messed their minds up. He has messed their heart up. He has messed their thought process up. He has, he has destroyed many things.

I'm telling you, if you know the number of people who are in church but their real education is from social media.

They suspect the pastor. So God— believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established. Believe in his prophet, so shall you prosper. So the part that God's servant should be able to bring by the Spirit can't come because people, people are taking— they swallow junks across board, and now they are struggling. They are struggling. Are you seeing that now? They are struggling. Struggling. You will not struggle. Now let me, let me give you an instruction. Go and offload. Stop that life of destruction. What did I say? Stop that life of destruction, that life of, of, of being engrossed and addicted to the media, films, um, news. You can't do well like that.

You must discipline yourself to hear God, to shut down and pray.

We announced 90 days prayer here, 90 days, 5 hours daily. We announced it, over 3,000 people registered, but those who pray every day, maybe 250, where are the rest?

People can talk. Ah, we are praying 5 hours, do day 1 and day 2, run.

Day 1 and day 2, run away. When will you pay the price? The fasting you've been postponing, when will you fast it? And there are many people, many members seated in different churches. They mess their mind up. They are, they are there. Ezekiel 33 says that they come before you as the people come in, they sit before you as the people, they hear the words of your mouth, but they will not do them. Tell to them you are just a sweet, pleasant singer, a country music singer. So they will not do a you're saying. Anybody who can't obey God can't step into his will for them. They can't.
